Heyman also reveals that Roman has declared that he is entering the 2025 men's Royal Rumble with full intention of winning and heading to WrestleMania to face Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship once again. Before Cody can respond, Kevin Owens suddenly shows up in the crowd, saying that the only thing worse than Cody teaming up with Roman was Cody shaking hands with The Rock and Paul Heyman. He says that Cody should have let Roman Reigns' Bloodline be ripped to shreds, but he ended up hurting the whole company. Cody jumps the barricade and fights Owens in the crowd. Meanwhile, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu sneak up on Paul Heyman in the ring, and as Heyman is cornered, Jimmy Uso shows up and takes the fight to Tama and Jacob. She says that the entitlement from The Miz has to stop, and at Royal Rumble, she and Edge will shut Miz and Maryse up for good. Suddenly, Miz and Maryse show up. Miz says that he stands with Ben Simmons and says he will take $33 million not to play in Philadelphia, then says he had Edge beaten at Day 1 until Beth Phoenix showed up to help him. As Miz asks what kind of man does this, Edge reminds Miz that he used Maryse to avoid a Spear. Miz says this is slander and that Maryse is one of the best wrestlers to ever put on a pair of high heels, then we see a video package of Maryse's career. It's time for Miz TV. The Miz says that since last week, people have said he has changed, then says he had a bad day and that everyone had a bad day. He says that Kofi Kingston wanted him to smile, but he didn't want to smile; he wanted to punch a face and that is what he did. He apologizes to Kofi Kingston, then says he has been through a lot in the past month, including what has gone down with him and "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. He says he had an opportunity to face him for the WWE Universal Championship but failed to take it. He then says the high point of the month was the return of a man who he considers a friend and a brother: John Morrison. Morrison walks down a WWE ramp for the first time since 2012 and enters the ring. The fans enthusiastically chant "Welcome back!," and Miz declares Morrison's return a truly awesome event before showing a sizzle reel of John Morrison's WWE career. Morrison says it feels good to be back, and that when he saw what The Miz was going through and talked with him about it, there was nothing more important than being there for one of his best friends. At SmackDown, they talked again, and he says that he is disappointed with the fans after how they treated The Miz, as he has worked harder than anyone else on the roster to get to where he is now. He says Miz does what he does for the fans. After asking what people would chant if certain people in the front row were in the ring, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) show up. Kofi asks Miz who he is trying to fool by saying that the fans turned their backs on them, and Big E says that they have not bought his apology, saying he could not get cast as the back of a human centipede. Kofi says he would have respected Miz more if he stopped at "I had a bad day," saying that would have been respectable. Miz tells Kofi he respected Kofi's six-month WWE Championship reign as well as the six seconds it took him to lose it. He also respects that Kofi continued to smile and not go back for the WWE Championship that he lost. Kofi says it was eight seconds, not six, and that it is clear that Miz is changing from "Cool Miz" to "Obnoxious, Annoying Miz." Kofi then says that the fans are 100% right when they say he sucks, which leads to the fans chanting "You Suck!" at Miz.

John Morrison and Big E guest on commentary for the next match; they end up on opposite corners at ringside after The Miz knocks Kofi Kingston into Big E.

Since Daniel wants the WWE Universal Championship, The Fiend now wants to hurt Daniel.

After Bayley says she is here because she is contractually obligated to, Lacey says she is not surprised, and that unlike Sasha, she is ready to fight any time, anywhere. She then says that since Sasha is a nasty and is not here, and since Bayley is acting like a fighting champion, she can face Bayley for her title right here, right now. Sheamus then says that he proved size does matter, and that since he has returned, he is ready to embrace chaos.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan finds a red gift box. Inside the box is the remains of Ramblin' Rabbit.

He has always had backup throughout his career, but this time, he didn't need the help of friends. Instead, he needed the help of family, and his family helped him out in a major way last week. He says that 2020 is his year, and that he will win the men's Royal Rumble match and main event WrestleMania for a fifth time with the ones who have been there since day one: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). The Usos show up, and state that it is great to be back on the blue brand. They admit the past five months away from the ring were rough, and that watching Roman Reigns defend himself against King Corbin. They consider Baron Corbin's actions with the dog food on Roman not only disrespectful to Roman, but to them as well. Suddenly, King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler show up. Corbin says that Roman is scared to face him one-on-one and that he is throwing his family under the bus to enter the men's Royal Rumble match, and says that he will be the one to win the men's Royal Rumble. Roman says he would love nothing more than to kick his ass twice in one night, and proposes they go one-on-one at Royal Rumble before he sends him over the top rope, wins the Rumble and shows him who the man is.
