He also claims that Hangman never put up much of a fight and says his match with Hangman was the easiest he ever had. He then makes it clear that he is still AEW World Champion, of which there is no higher honor and something only he his deserving of, and that there is nobody in AEW better than him. Suddenly, Kenny Omega shows up and heads to the ring, says that he has more nicknames than MJF and states that even at his zenith as a heel, he never considered himself a god, and if MJF wants to call himself "the Devil," then maybe he should call himself a god. He states that when he took his body to the limit, he did not listen to his body because of his respect and responsibility for the fans, and compared to who he once was, he will not fall for MJF's antics and that he is close to 100%. Omega says that this version is better than MJF and that MJF knows it, which he says scares MJF. He then offers to shake hands with MJF and make this official for Dynasty. Christian leaves, then Copeland says that Christian is an asshole and that he knows of two bigger assholes in FTR. Copeland says FTR threw away their friendship and are about to throw away their history, and while he gets where they are come from, he is going to find them and ends their careers while taking the World Tag Team titles from them.

Stokely introduces FTR, then Wheeler says they made a choice to dump the dead weight and refuse to carry Copeland over the finish line of his career. Wheeler addresses FTR's history with Copeland and Copeland's mentorship, then says that Dax and Stokely are his family now and that he does not need Copeland or his wife, stating that Copeland's time has passed. After Wheeler proclaims that FTR are living legends now, Harwood says that Copeland is now "a nostalgia act" and that everybody including Copeland knows it. He says that what happened to Beth Copeland made Adam Copeland look deep inside herself, and implies that what happened to Beth is nothing compared to what will happened to Adam Copeland. Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong then show up for the next match as FTR hounds the front row fans. Stokely bumps into Orange Cassidy, and Orange Cassidy gets shoved back by Dax Harwood. He then addresses "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, who shows up, and says that he does not want anything to come between what they have, as he knows that Takeshita does not like Okada. He then reaffirms his commitment to "Protoshita."

"The Toxic Spider" Thekla retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Mina Shirakawa. During the match, Thekla pulls out a belt, but referee Mike Posey takes it away from her, allowing Thekla to pull out metal knuckles and knock Mina out mid-slam before hiding the evidence to pin, win and retain.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kenny Omega. Omega says that despite a no physicality clause for next week's contract signing, everyone is used to how MJF operates, then says that now is the time and that if a god needs to take the World title off a devil, he is the man to do it. "Speedball" Mike Bailey shows up and says that he admires Omega, and hopes Omega beats MJF for the World Championship so that he can face him for the title. Both men then shake hands.

Backstage, we hear from The Demand. Ricochet apologizes to the fans for losing his cool and shoving Toa Liona off after being screwed out of the National Championship by AEW at Revolution, and says that it should be him facing MJF for the World Championship. He says that Kenny Omega earned a World title shot by doing the bare minimum, especially when he beat him in their only match, and that he is tired of it.

Darby Allin beats Rush in a no count-outs match after dodging the horns and pinning Rush with a jackknife pin. After the match, The Don Callis Family shows up, and Mark Davis grabs Darby from behind and piledrives him on the outside before The Family brings him into the ring for a Lance Archer chokeslam. As this goes on, Andrade el Idolo is not exactly on board with what The Family is doing.

"The Jet" Kevin Knight shows up and says that he has been getting the job done in the past few weeks, including when he kept him from fleeing to the back earlier this week with a two-headed coin. He then says that he will shut MJF's mouth tonight as he calls him "a crybaby bitch," and says that people are sick and tired of hearing his "better than you" routine and calls his scarf fake, saying that he is not just more attractive than MJF, but a better world champion. Knight says that he is the here and now and not the future, then MJF calls him an "ignorant, arrogant child" for telling him how to do his job before challenging him on next week's Dynamite with the AEW World Championship on the line. Speedball reminds Fletcher that he beat him in the Continental Classic while Knight did the same to Okada. Knight says that "the math isn't really mathin'" with Protokada, but Okada says they have yet to beat them as a team. Knight likes the idea of a tag team contest, and states that he would love to defend the AEW World Championship against Okada after he beats MJF next week. Speedball says he would love to beat Fletcher for his "cow udder pink" TNT Championship and proposes that they and "Hangman" Adam Page defend the AEW World Trios Championships against Protokada and whoever else they choose to team with, then Knight says that no matter what, the results will be the same with Jet Set Rodeo on top.

She says that Thunder Rosa is not ready to get toxic, and tells Statlander to tell Thunder Rosa how she made her cry and bleed before taking the Women's World Championship from her. Thekla says she does not fight to win, but to kill, and tells Thunder Rosa to retire already before calling her and Statlander "the past of the women's division," as the women's division now belongs to her.

In backstage footage from earlier today, we hear from Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. Swerve says that The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are no longer EVPs, but that does not mean they have to take their anger out on others. He says that as long as they abuse their power, he will be around to stop them. He also warns "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada that he will be around for him, too, if he keeps mentioning, and entertains the idea of beating him for the AEW Unified Championship.

Backstage, we hear from Don Callis and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Callis asys Okada is the best bell-to-bell wrestler in the world and the best big match wrestler that he has ever seen, yet they have to keep listining to Swerve Strickland making wolf calls every week calling out Okada, and that Swerve is missing the class that Okada has. He also says Swerve takes strategic advices from an idiot while Okada takes advice for him, and Okada says that he and Swerve do not have to talk, they can just fight at Forbidden Door.

Daniel Garcia guests on commentary for the next match.

Backstage, we hear from Athena, who explains what happened last night on Dynamite. She says that she does not respect "Timeless" Toni Storm and that it will be easy to beat her for the AEW Women's World Championship, which is why she did not cash her contract on her. She says she will sign her contract for a guaranteed title shot at Forbidden Door in London, where Toni "does not have the best luck" and she will be able to have "a super-spontaneous moment" when she beats her. Athena says no door is forbidden to her and that it is only a matter of time, for when she activates, no one is going to stop her.

"Platinum" Max Caster is in the ring. He calls Chicago "Chiraq" and gets the fans to do his chant, then says nobody in the city can hang with him and just get worse every week, much like Anthony Bowens, and says that he is not "a bland, crybaby bitch" like Bowens. He issues the five-minute open challenge, which is answered by Rush.

"Platinum" Max Caster vs. Rush ends after five minutes when it becomes obvious that Rush would rather beat Caster down at his own pace. After the match, Rush gets ticked off and hits Caster with The Bull's Horns before he, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos gang up on him. Security shows up, but they also get attacked. AR Fox, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight show up to fight Rush, Mortos and Dralistico.
