Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed), who come out of a smoke-filled room. The Rascalz introduce themselves as one of the best factions in nearly a decade, so it is only right for them to be in AEW. They also said they are here not to take part, but to take over, and they want to take on the best tag teams and trios. They then head back into the smoke-filled room. (It is later revealed that Trey Miguel was originally supposed to be with the rest of the group, but was released from his contract by Warner Bros. Discovery over old social media posts during his social media beef with David Starr. Trey will remove all AEW references from social media, ask the fans to keep supporting The Rascalz, apologize for his past actions and take a hiatus from professional wrestling )

He says he envies them because they have the size, the strength and the look of professional wrestlers, and that he longs for the days where professional wrestlers looked like professional wrestlers. He then says that they have everything except the ability to beat FTR. Cash Wheeler says nobody has the resumé or the body of work that FTR has, and while Mark Davis and Jake Doyle are good, they are not "FTR good." Dax Harwood says hello to Nigel McGuiness, then is hit with a "We don't care" chant before he says that the fans live in a fantasy world and think that whatever is new and shiny is the greatest thing of all time. He says that he has nothing against Jake Doyle or Mark Davis; just the issues surrounding them, as the fans just build their ego up and make them think they are something after being put in one tag team match for the tag team titles in a division that FTR built. Dax says he does not care what they have done in the past or what they will do in the future, but now, they are in the midst of the greatest tag team of all time, and just like the fans, they beg to be like FTR when there is only one FTR.
