Mina Shirakawa and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) beat Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont and Haven Harris in a trios match by submission with a Figure Four Leg Lock from Mina to Nixi XS. After the match, Windsor says she loves fighting other women, then Hayter tells Mina that they have nothing to do with what happened to "Timeless" Toni Storm, which Windsor calls "a piss take." Soon after, Windsor calls out Triangle of Madness, especially "The Toxic Spider" Thekla, for using brass knuckles. Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla) shows up in the crowd, and Thekla berates the crowd before Thekla declares nobody can handle the three of them. Mina challenges Triangle of Madness, proclaiming that she and The Brawling Birds will beat the piss out of them.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Don Callis Family ("The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, Mark Davis). Fletcher says he does not want to talk about MJF, as he is not a fan of their business relationship with him and he wants to focus on the AEW World Championship. He also claims that Mistico and JetSpeed ("The Jet" Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) stole the Trios titles from them like they took "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander from them, and now, tonight is all about revenge. Okada states that he will get revenge for himself and the family, then addresses Fletcher speaking with "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita recently and proclaims that "Protokada" are the leaders of the family. Fletcher says they will make examples of The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier) before he focuses on the World Championship.

He says that with swag, he can turn any dream into reality. Knight then says he hopes to turn Okada's dreams of revenge into a nightmare when he becomes a double champion tonight.

Backstage, we hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia). Moxley says Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) is pretty banged up and that nobody will be hearing from them any time soon. He says he has no sympathy for Private Party like he has no sympathy for Will Ospreay, and says that he will never stand between a person and the consequences of their actions. Moxley declares that Ospreay got exactly what he asked for and has found himself in an unsanctioned cage match because no doctor will clear him due to his broken neck. He then mentions Ospreay's match with PAC on next week's Dynamite, and says PAC has even less patience than him for Ospreay's emotional response to this cold game.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW International Championship against "The Jet" Kevin Knight after sitting down on a roll-up pin and using the ropes for leverage.

Jon Moxley beats El Clon in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match.

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland from last week's Dynamite. All of a sudden, Prince Nana suddenly shows up and confronts the commentary team, saying that Swerve Strickland does not care about a $100,000 fine before clearing off the announce table and introducing Swerve Strickland, who stands on the table. Swerve asks the "sickos" if they missed him and feels that they would have enjoyed what he did to Omega, then warns that whatever happens next is on Omega, especially after calling Brody King the most dangerous man in AEW and not him. He says that he will hunt Omega down and that he is a man of his word, and that Omega not only challenged him as a man, but as a threat. He says that Omega is yet another EVP that he took down and will not be part of his problems anymore. Swerve then declares that he has taken down all of the members of The Elite in three years before mentioning "Hangman" Adam Page's conversation about regret, and while he regretted what he did to Hangman, he choses to live live going forward with no regrets. Swerve declares that the AEW locker room is on notice and that anyone can get clipped at any time, and if anyone wants to get in his way, he will take them down, too.

We hear from Brody King and Bandido backstage. Brody says that he has a problem with Swerve Strickland thinking he is the next AEW World Champion. He says that he will prove why he is next in line for a world title shot in his match against Mark Davis.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring. "Hangman" Adam Page is introduced first, followed by MJF. MJF says Hangman may be brave and bold, but not a historian, as he will end Hangman's AEW career like he did "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes'. He then makes fun of the fans in Denver, Colorado for being potheads, then throws his gum out in "the garbage," which is the front row. MJF then proposes flipping a coin. Of it lands on tails, their match will be a Texas Death Match, but if it lands on heads, it will be "the one-way no-disqualification match." As this goes on, MJF's gum is thrown back into the ring. For his stipulation, MJF declares that in his stipulation, MJF can do whatever he wants while Hangman can get disqualified for even looking at a weapon. He then asks Hangman if he is a cowboy or a coward. Hangman says "I'll do it," then warns MJF about what he is doing here tonight, as the Texas Death Match would change him. He asks what would happen if he dragged MJF through broken glass or crammed barbed wire between his lips and tore his gums and tongue. He also warns that his usual tricks would mean nothing, as MJF may be "The Devil," but this hell is his, and if MJF gets the Texas Death Match, he will not stand a chance. Hangman boasts he can beat MJF in any match, including MJF's "dogshit idea," and if he puts his career on the line, he wants some finality, and if he cannot beat "a piece of shit like MJF," then he does not deserve the AEW World Championship. He says that he knows and understands MJF and feels like a lucky shot tonight, and dares him to flip the coin. MJF says he feels lucky as well, then flips the coin. It lands on heads. MJF's stipulation wins out. Hangman demands that MJF give him the quarter, but MJF walks off, saying he does not owe Hangman anything. JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight), Brody King and Bandido stop MJF on his way to the back, and Hangman says he knows MJF too well. MJF is forced back to the ring, and the coin is revealed to be two-sided. Tony Schiavone then announces that as per Tony Khan, the AEW World Championship will be a Texas Death Match. Hangman tosses the rigged coin into the front row. MJF is distraught.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher tells Tommaso Ciampa to be careful what he wishes for, because he got in the ring with the best and came up short, then says the TNT title is not going anywhere. "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada shows up and says that Fletcher is right and that they have constantly been champions, unlike "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita. He then proposes that they team up as "Protokada" on Collision, and Fletcher makes it a handshake deal.

The Demand and FTR attack "Jungle" Jack Perry before the next match, but they are soon stopped by The Young Bucks. Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier soon join in on the pre-match brawl.

Callis says that he and Omega have known each other for many years, but reminds him that he does what "Daddy" says and that "Daddy" decides when the matches happen, and says the match will happen next week because what he says goes. Joe then signs the contract. Swerve says he came back to AEW for the World Championship, and if the finish of that match was different, he would be coming after Joe. He also notes that there is a bit of mutual respect between himself and Hangman despite what they have both done to each other. Swerve then mentions that he hates Joe just as much as he respects Hangman, all because Joe left him laying in a pool of his own blood in their last contract signing and he ended up beating him for the World title, which he plans to do again. He also hopes to leave a bootprint on Joe's face that will be uglier than the face tattoo he had in 2007. Swerve tells Joe and Hangman to bring their best to Worlds End, because you cannot kill a god with bullets. Swerve signs the contract. Hangman mentions that he and Joe once fought together to take the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, but acknowledges that Swerve or Joe could have been champion. In the end, he ended up beating Moxley to become World Champion. Hangman says that he knew both Joe and Swerve would find a way to face him for the World Championship. He says he gave Joe that opportunity, but when he failed, he turned into something worse than Moxley. He says that Joe may be World Champion, but he has no self-respect, and that the title is all he has left. Hangman says he planned the World Championship against everyone who helped him, including Swerve. He says that if Swerve defeated him, he would have accepted that defeat and handed the title to him. Hangman says that Joe will not be leaving Worlds End as World Champion, as he has messed up by making enemies out of him and Swerve. Hangman signs the contract, and as Tony Schiavione announces that this is official, the lights go out. MJF's theme then plays, and MJF shows up for the first time in months. "Smart" Mark Sterling is on the outside to give MJF his Casino Gauntlet contract, which MJF signs. MJF cashes in his guaranteed World Championship match, making the match a four-way match. MJF says he is executing this contract and facing three men instead of one, then MJF takes what Hangman said about him being a coward and saying that he will beat him and his two greatest rivals in one fell swoop to really hurt Hangman. MJF tells Joe that he still hates Joe for taking the World title from him and making the fans turn on him in response, then says the fans dictate who goes down as an all-time great and says that he must go down as an all-time great. He tells Joe that his time has just run out and that he will make Joe fall back harder than his hairline, and at Worlds End - where Joe ended his title reign - he will end Joe's reign. Swerve tells MJF that if he should be afraid of anyone, it is him. MJF mentions the history that he and Swerve both have (while making light of Swerve's run in WWE) as well as Swerve's time in AEW, then says that Swerve is in his way and that AEW is his house and rent is due, and the Devil is here to collect.
