Swerve then addresses "Hangman" Adam Page, admitting that while they have not always seen eye-to-eye, there has never been a better rivalry than theirs. He also takes exception to Swerve thinking he can walk back into AEW after three or four months and just get a World title shot, then brags about beating Will Ospreay and Kota Ibushi, even going so far as to brag about injuring Ibushi to the point that his career was put into question after he broke his femur. He also brags about facing Kenny Omega and winning one million dollars for The Don Callis Family. Swerve asks Alexander what he wants, and Alexander says that if anyone deserves a title shot, it is him, and that they should fight over who gets a World title shot. He says that "the freaks and furries" in tonight's crowd do not deserve this match, and Swerve proposes they have their match at Winter is Coming. He says that AEW was supposed to be different and that people were supposed to be rewarded for winning, working hard and being the best, but when he came back, everything changed. He says that he finds Samoa Joe disgusting, as he was supposed to lead and is now doing what he used to hate. Hook says the fans are too stupid to realize they are seeing the greatest second-generation wrestler that they have ever seen, then Swerve shows up in the crowd with a chain wrapped around him with Hangman showing up, having a shot, grabbing a beer and joining him. The Opps Dojo run into the crowd after them, but Hangman and Swerve easily drop everyone in their path before entering the ring. September to Remember - Dynamite recap for September 17, 2025

Tony Schiavone oversees a contract signing for All Out to start tonight's show. Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page, followed by "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis. Callis says that he remembers when Hangman took the AEW World Championship from him when he beat Kenny Omega for it and that he has waited to get it back, and he has found someone who is bigger, faster and better than Omega. He says that there is nothing he can do to Fletcher, saying there is no one else like him, and that the World Championship is coming to the family. Hangman says he is glad they are in agreement that Fletcher does not need help on Saturday, as he and everyone is sick and tired of half the roster getting involved in World title matches and he has no problem putting the rest of Don Callis' family into the ground. He says he is doing this because he sees the potential in what Fletcher could be, as he is 26 years old and could be in AEW for decades and be someone others can look to one day to carry AEW into the future, and if he wants to be that, he will have to earn that worthiness.Hangman tells Fletcher that in the contract, it is written that if Callis interferes, he will not only lose the match, but he will be stripped of the TNT Championship as well. Callis almost loses it. Fletcher says that does not scare him and that Hangman could have put anything else in the contract, and that he still would have signed it. He says that this changes nothing and that he is still the best to step into an AEW ring. He states that on Saturday, he will fulfill his destiny when he becomes AEW World Championship, for he has become better than Hangman has ever been. He says AEW does not need Hangman or Omega anymore, and that it needs him. Fletcher says he will do Hangman a favor by letting him ride into the sunset, as both the championship and the company belongs to him now. Fletcher signs the contract. Hangman says he knows how it feels to be in Fletcher's shoes, for he has been there, yet Fletcher does not know it will feel the morning after, as it will crush, ruin and all but take every shred of confidence out of him. He is sure of it that Fletcher's best will not be enough and that what Fletcher does with that feeling will be what defends him, and tells Fletcher not to disappoint him in the long time that follows. Hangman signs the contract. Fletcher then stands up and hopes that by now, Hangman knows that he is a man of his word, and that there would be no physicality at this signing or interference in their match, but he promises he will leave a double champion, and tonight, he will leave Hangman beaten, bloodied and unable to walk out of this arena on his own two feet. He then tells Hangman to say his full name that until that moment comes.

We see a video package for Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin in a Coffin Match at All Out.

Jon Moxley beats Roderick Strong by submission with the Paradigm Shift followed by the Bulldog Choke after Kyle O'Reilly brawls with Daniel Garcia when the ladder grabs Roddy on the outside, causing referee Paul Turner to focus on that and allowing Wheeler Yuta to run out and trip Roddy from the outside, allowing Moxley to win the match.

In backstage footage from last Saturday on Collision, MJF meets with Tony Khan and vents his frustrations regarding the Casino Gauntlet Match contract and wants out of the Thumbs 'n Tacks Match, saying Tony Khan owes him one. Tony Schiavone introduces Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, followed by Stokely Hathaway and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for a face-to-face meeting in the ring. A dozen security guards lead Stokely and FTR to the ring. It is announced by Schiavone that there will be heavy fines if there is any physicality in this meeting. Stokely says that there will be a $100,000 fine if Copeland touches Dax or Cash and a $500,000 fine and a cancelled match if he touches Stokely, then says that Copeland and Christian will disappoint and allows FTR to speak first. Cash Wheeler talks about how he and Copeland became friends and how Copeland became his mentor, then says that Copeland opened the door for him only to kick it down. He says that in the last ten years, he and Dax have become living legends, then they helped Copeland back into the business only for Dynamite to become "The Cope Show" and for them to do all the work as supporting cast. After Cash says that he and Dax will take that away from him for good, Dax talks about how Copeland and Christian were once the best in the world only because "two mediocre teams" carried them to relevancy. Dax says that in the last eleven years, they have carried tag team wrestling on their backs and have become the best in the business as well as one of one, and says that this could be a dream match, but this is the hand they are dealt. Copeland yanks the microphone away and tells Stokely that he has no hoes and to keep Beth Phoenix's name out of his mouth, then says he helped FTR and expected nothing in return. He says that the only reason that FTR is not in the spotlight because the fans did not want them in it and wanted him in it instead, and while FTR is the best right now, he and Christian were here for 25 years and made tag team wrestling important again. Copeland then says that at All Out, two of the best teams will face each other in his and Christian's hometown, and when FTR is dragged into the deep end, they will understand why they are the better team. Christian says that $100,000 is a lot of money and that $500,000 would get Stokely some hoes, but at the risk of sounding like an asshole, $500,000 means nothing to him because he is rich. Copeland and Christian punch FTR in the face. Security gets in the ring only to get laid out, then both teams brawl until FTR roll out of the ring. Dax's nose is notably busted open afterwards.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson), who are now back from rags to riches and have paid off production to give them a better entrance. Matthew says that tonight is the beginning of their redemption and the road to becoming the first-ever four-time AEW World Tag Team Championships, then Nicholas gives Renee $10,000 to buy something with.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) beat The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) in an AEW World Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match qualifier.

Mascara Dorada beats The Beast Mortos in an AEW Unified Championship Eliminator Tournament Match. After the match, Don Callis and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada show up, but so does "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita is uninterested in Mascara Dorada, and has a staredown with Okada. Dorada then hits Okada with a dive off the top rope. Mascara Dorada and Takeshita then have a staredown.

"Timeless" Toni Storm appears on the stage. Toni admits she does not know how much longer she will be champion after winning the Women's World title back seven months ago, and says she has lived every day as if it were her last, and has defended against many powerful opponents and has loved every second of it. She says that if one is not willing to put their life on the line in the ring, then "[they aren't] shit." She then says she faces two others who are worthy of her mantle, and if this is the end of her reign, then it has been the honor of her life. She then says that if her opponents want to beat her, then they should burn her body to the ground, pack her ashes into a pipe and take a big, fat huff, as nobody can get them as high as she can. Jamie Hayter shows up and says that she is not a spotlight and tells Toni Storm to keep it, as Toni will not look as good without her title. She then tells Toni that he does not forget and that Toni invited her to this, then says she hits hard. Kris Statlander says that she may not have much of a claim to the Women's World Championship after not wrestling for it for four years, then says Toni and Hayter do not have the ovaries and cannot beat her. As Toni tells Statlander and Hayter to prepare for their match, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up and outshines the three of them on her way to the ring for the next match.

Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Pearce into the ring to start tonight's show. The fans chant "You deserve it!" before Hangman says the fans are missing the point, saying the fans deserve this, not him, as they are the ones who needed, demanded, and supported AEW. He says that the stars of AEW do this because of the fans, then reiterates that the fans deserve this as well as to see the AEW World Championship as it held by someone with more gratitude than one will ever know. Hangman says that he did not just walk into a battle; he walked into a war to free the World Championship that lasted nine months. He says that some who fought this war have not come out the same. Hangman thanks Orange Cassidy, "Switchblade" Jay White, Adam Copeland, The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katusyori Shibata), "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, and especially Will Ospreay, who he says reminded him of why he loved wrestling and paid the price for this moment. The fans then chant "Whose house? Swerve's house!" Hangman says that if he is going to be the champion and man that he is, he must thanks Swerve Strickland, even if he is not sure if he helped for him, himself or AEW. Hangman calls last weekend a rollercoaster of highs and lows, and while he shed both blood and tears, he has a wife and two children who love him alongside millions who can look up to and respect him. He then proclaims himself "the champion of the fuckin' world."

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats Mascara Dorada.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Matthew says they will not join his family, but at the same time, they are open to working with him.

In backstage footage from All In Texas, we hear from The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, MJF). MVP says he knew they would stay tag team champions and states that they have not been threatened yet, and begs for a legendary tag team to challenge them and take the titles. MVP says he is happy that "Hangman" Adam Page won, as there is nothing to prove against Jon Moxley and everything to prove against Hangman. He says that he is the best, not Hangman, and that he does not need his guaranteed world title shot to beat him. As he declares that title shot a "break glass in case of emergency" plan, he says that while Hangman is at peace, he is the embodiment of pressure and that he has no problem being the bad guy, as nice guys finish last.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match. Also before the next match, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) come out to their usual entrance only for it to be replaced with their names in Comic Sans cycling through the color spectrum on top of unflattering footage with their theme music completely absent. Ring announcer Justin Roberts also rubs in the fact that The Young Bucks are no longer Executive Vice Presidents, as does the pre-match chyron.

Hechicero, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey, "The Jet" Kevin Knight, Bandido and Brody King in an All-Star 8-Man Tag Match with a sleeper from Hechicero to Bandido.

Adam Copeland heads to the ring. After the fans sing along to his entrance theme, Copeland states that he did not return to save Christian Cage, saying that he is an asshole who has tried to make his life miserable since he showed up in AEW. He says that when Christian Cage cashed in his Casino Gauntlet title shot despite The Patriarchy telling him not to do it, everything crumbled around him, and that he does not blame Nick Wayne for turning on him. He also says that when he warned Christian of this, Christian's ego was so huge that he refused to listen. He hopes that Christian is pulling his skull out of his ass, but he is not holding his breath. Copeland then addresses FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and talks about their history in the last five years when he was cleared to compete again, as well as how FTR started complaining two weeks after Rated FTR was started. He says that FTR put him on the shelf for 4 months that he does not have after doing this for 33 years, and that he is he back to end FTR. Stokely Hathaway then shows up with three security guards. Stokely puts security between himself and Copeland and says FTR read Copeland like a book, then calls Copeland's weapon Spike so much of a liability that AEW, Tony Khan and Warner Media received three anonymous e-mails complaining about Copeland's behavior. He states that if Copeland interferes in FTR's matches or attack FTR, he will be fired. He also states that FTR is not scared of Copeland and is currently focused on the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Stokely then tells Copeland to "go find a hobby and leave FTR alone," and Copeland reminds Stokely that he said nothing about getting near him. Stokely sends security at Copeland, but they get knocked down, and the rest of security runs away. Copeland then hits Stokely with a Spear before telling him that he will get all of them. (One of the security guards Stokely pushes into Copeland's path is independent wrestler Kevin Ku.)

Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe, who says that MJF ducked him like a bitch in the men's Casino Gauntlet Match. He says that is now just getting started between himself and MJF, who has only experienced a portion of "Dem Boys." He says that MJF made a mistake conjuring up the other side of "Dem Boys" and that he will make MJF pay for his sins.

"The Toxic Spider" Thekla beats Queen Aminata, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale in a $100,000 4-Way Fight after Willow and Statlander brawl their way to the back before Skye Blue shows up and distracts referee Aubrey Edwards so that Julia Hart can show up and spit green mist in Aminata's face.

"Timeless" Toni Storm shows up on the balcony. Toni Storm announces that she is still AEW Women's World Champion before thanking Mercedes Moné for going all in with her. She says they did everything they set out to do, despite warning Mercedes that she would eat her alive if she made a fatal mistake. She declares that Mercedes Moné was "delicious" and that if she wants to come back for seconds, the buffet is always open. Toni also mentions that Luther was injured in the line of duty and that it requires reattachment surgery. She then proclaims that her tits are pointing to the future and that there are plenty of people with knives and that she ought to be careful. She states that the AEW Women's World Championship is "the big one" before Athena and Billie Starkz appear on the video screen. Athena says that soon, she will become "the forever AEW Women's World Championship" and reminds Toni Storm that Mina Shirakawa is hurt after she got in her way. She says that there will be nobody left to save Toni when she cashes in her Casino Gauntlet title shot. After entertaining when and where she could end Toni's world title reign, Athena says it is time to stop looking for happy endings, as her demise and murder are here. Toni is more than eager to accept Athena's challenge.

Backstage, we hear from Kip Sabian, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne. Sabian says he chose Christian Cage, and says he took bullet after bullet when Christian Cage might as well had been pulling the trigger. He says they are no longer under a patriarch, but beside a matriarch. Mother Wayne says Nick and Sabian are her boys now and that Nick is her prodigy. Nick Wayne tells Christian Cage that he is past his expiration date to the point that he became a liability to them, and that he realized that months ago when Christian Cage strayed from the path and decided to do his own thing in becoming AEW World Champion. He says that Christian loved to get in his face and question how many world championship he has won when he is only 20 years old, and that the real question is how many world title he is going to win and what else he could do in his career. He says that Christian created this monster, and now he and the rest of AEW have to live with him as the new face of TNT and AEW, now and forever.

Don Callis introduces "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who now has a new entrance, before the next match.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada quickly beats an unnamed opponent. After the match, Okada addresses Swerve Strickland, saying that he screwed The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) before calling him a bitch. Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana show up, then Swerve tells Okada "Yeah, I did that. What you gonna do about it, bitch?"

"Hangman" Adam Page, Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxkey, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) with a jackknife pin from Hangman to Moxley. After the match, The Death Riders go on the attack, but all of a sudden, the arena goes dark, and Darby Allin is seen in the luxury box. Summer Blockbuster - Dynamite recap for June 11, 2025

At the start of the show, Christopher Daniels tells "Hangman" Adam Page that he will be fighting both The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) at the same time at All In Texas, and while he has friends in the locker room, Hangman should make some allies of his own. As Hangman walks away, The Death Riders (Claudio, Yuta, Shafir) follow.
Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland ends in a 30-minute time-limit draw. After the match, Swerve says he and Ospreay are among the best because AEW is where the best wrestle, and that the only way to prove one is the best is to finish a match. He says he knows what kind of man Ospreay is and that he knows Ospreay wants to beat him, then proposes the match continues in sudden death overtime. All of a sudden, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir) show up, and when Swerve confronts Claudio, The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) show up and attack Swerve from behind before hitting him with the EVP-Trigger. Prince Nana confronts The Young Bucks only to Superkick him, handcuff Swerve to the corner and Superkick Swerve repeatedly. The Death Riders retreat as The Young Bucks produce the custom-made Nike cleats that Swerve used at Anarchy in the Arena, but Ospreay gets in the ring and takes the bullet - and the Superkick - for Swerve. The Young Bucks leave as the fans chant "Fuck the Bucks!" and AEW medical checks on Ospreay.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Don Callis shows up before Okada can speak, then asks why Okada is facing Kenny Omega and not one of his own family members when his family has had a better six months. Backstage, MVP shows the rest of The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, MJF) attacking an unmasked Komander.

Mistico beats Blake Christian. After the match, The Hurt Syndicate arrives, and MJF congratulates Mistico on both winning tonight and impressing him before giving him a match next week at Grand Slam Mexico and looking forward to ripping his mask off. He says that Mistico will not just get any man; he will get the patriot, as he will dust off the red, white and blue and call himself an American hero once again. The MJF-style American flag suddenly unfurls and the red, white and blue streamers shoot out as patriotic music plays, then MJF gets in the ring only for Mistico to take the microphone, laugh at him, and cuss him out as he tells him he will see him next week. When MJF finds out what Mistico just said, MJF says that Mistico will always be "sloppy Sin Cara" to him and that he is about to get dropped. MJF strikes only for Mistico to block and hit back, then Lashley and Shelton gang up on Mistico. As MJF is about to rip Mistico's mask off, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, "The Jet" Kevin Night and Mascara Dorada show up and take The Hurt Syndicate out as they watch the entrance ramp. MVP swings at Speedball with his cane, but Speedball is able to avoid it. We then see AEW crew members removing the streamers. This starts the next match.

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, MJF) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey, "The Jet" Kevin Knight and Mascara Dorada in a trios match after MVP hits Speedball in the back. After the match, The Hurt Syndicate go back on the attack, then MJF unmasks Mascara Dorada in the ring while MVP attacks Speedball with his cane. "Hangman" Adam Page is attacked by The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) while bound and gagged on the stage. Marina Shafir watches, briefcase in hand, as Jon Moxley heads to the ring and Claudio and Yuta continue to pin Hangman to the mat. Moxley apologizes and says he wants to make sure that he and Hangman have a real conversation, as Hangman's head is all over the place and he is focused on everything but himself. He says he wants Hangman focused because this is "do or die" for him. Claudio hits a few knees as Moxley admits that he has watched Hangman for a long time and has found him "complicated." Moxley says that Hangman has been searching high and low for something, then tells Hangman that he has four weeks to find it, step up and become the man that everyone wants him to become. He tells Hangman that if he is not prepared, then he can "pack [his] shit and get the hell out." Hangman headbutts Moxley, and Claudio and Yuta get back on the attack before wrapping a metal folding chair around Hangman's neck. All of a sudden, The Opps (Samoa Joe, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs) run out to the ring, and The Death Riders flee as Powerhouse Hobbs frees Hangman. Hangman says he has come too far for this, and says he would ride through Death itself to take the World Championship. He says that if he finds one member of The Death Riders tonight, he will have their heads. Hangman then leaves through the crowd.

Tony Schiavone moderates the contract signing for the Winner Takes All Match for the AEW Continental Championship and the AEW International Championship between "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega in the ring. Okada is introduced first, followed by Omega. It is revealed that between the Continental Championship and the International Championship that are both on the table, there is a third championship covered in a black mantle between the two. This championship - known as the AEW Unified Championship, which has a plate with Kenny Omega on it on one end and a plate with Okada on it on the other - is unveiled. Okada signs the contract, then Omega mentions their last match from seven years ago. Omega says he does not recognize his past self, then says that they will do this one more time and leave it all in the ring before signing the contract. Omega offers to shake Okada's hand, and Okada obliges, then both men have the closer staredown before Don Callis suddenly shows up. Callis tells Omega he should be ashamed of himself and that the match should involve a member of his own family instead of Okada, but Omega has enough of Callis and says he has beaten everyone Callis has thrown at him. As Omega says there is not one trick that Callis can pull to stop that, Callis says he has one Omega did not know about. Okada then hits Omega from behind with the Continental Championship, then Callis produces a steel baton. Callis holds Omega down as Okada strikes Omega in the abdomen with the steel baton, and the fans chant "You sold out!" before Okada strikes Omega one more time and the AEW medical team checks on Omega, who is clutching at his abdomen. A stretcher is brought out, and Omega has to be placed on the backboard and the stretcher and then wheeled out as the show ends.

Stokely takes the microphone and declares that FTR have proved that they are the best in the world, that they are "living legend killers," and that they are better than Nigel McGuiness, who is back on commentary where he feels Nigel belongs. He then announces that FTR has issued a challenge to any tag team from Mexico on a future Dynamite or Collision. After Stokely quotes the chorus to Nelly's "E.I.," Atlantis Jr. and Templario show up. Harwood says they respect both luchadoes, then says that FTR are "living lucha legends" themselves due to being former AAA Tag Team Champions. Dax says that they have no issues with them and that he wants to know them better before the joint AEW/CMLL show at Arena Mexico, then asks them questions but does not allow them to answer. FTR says that Tony Khan has big plans for them and that Templario and Atlantis Jr. will not be able to face them, even though Dax is a big fan of Atlantis. He then sends a message to Atlantis through Atlantis Jr. to stay at home and not to mess with FTR.
