"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats Mascara Dorada.
In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Matthew says they are just looking for their locker room when they run into Marina Shafir, who does not even want to talk to them, before finding their own locker room and getting mocked by Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Don Callis shows up and sympathizes with The Young Bucks and says that despite their history, they can do some business. Matthew says they will not join his family, but at the same time, they are open to working with him.
In backstage footage from All In Texas, we hear from The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, MJF). MVP says he knew they would stay tag team champions and states that they have not been threatened yet, and begs for a legendary tag team to challenge them and take the titles. MVP says he is happy that "Hangman" Adam Page won, as there is nothing to prove against Jon Moxley and everything to prove against Hangman. He says that he is the best, not Hangman, and that he does not need his guaranteed world title shot to beat him. As he declares that title shot a "break glass in case of emergency" plan, he says that while Hangman is at peace, he is the embodiment of pressure and that he has no problem being the bad guy, as nice guys finish last.
Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match. Also before the next match, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) come out to their usual entrance only for it to be replaced with their names in Comic Sans cycling through the color spectrum on top of unflattering footage with their theme music completely absent. Ring announcer Justin Roberts also rubs in the fact that The Young Bucks are no longer Executive Vice Presidents, as does the pre-match chyron.
Hechicero, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey, "The Jet" Kevin Knight, Bandido and Brody King in an All-Star 8-Man Tag Match with a sleeper from Hechicero to Bandido.
Adam Copeland heads to the ring. After the fans sing along to his entrance theme, Copeland states that he did not return to save Christian Cage, saying that he is an asshole who has tried to make his life miserable since he showed up in AEW. He says that when Christian Cage cashed in his Casino Gauntlet title shot despite The Patriarchy telling him not to do it, everything crumbled around him, and that he does not blame Nick Wayne for turning on him. He also says that when he warned Christian of this, Christian's ego was so huge that he refused to listen. He hopes that Christian is pulling his skull out of his ass, but he is not holding his breath. Copeland then addresses FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and talks about their history in the last five years when he was cleared to compete again, as well as how FTR started complaining two weeks after Rated FTR was started. He says that FTR put him on the shelf for 4 months that he does not have after doing this for 33 years, and that he is he back to end FTR. Stokely Hathaway then shows up with three security guards. Stokely puts security between himself and Copeland and says FTR read Copeland like a book, then calls Copeland's weapon Spike so much of a liability that AEW, Tony Khan and Warner Media received three anonymous e-mails complaining about Copeland's behavior. He states that if Copeland interferes in FTR's matches or attack FTR, he will be fired. He also states that FTR is not scared of Copeland and is currently focused on the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Stokely then tells Copeland to "go find a hobby and leave FTR alone," and Copeland reminds Stokely that he said nothing about getting near him. Stokely sends security at Copeland, but they get knocked down, and the rest of security runs away. Copeland then hits Stokely with a Spear before telling him that he will get all of them. (One of the security guards Stokely pushes into Copeland's path is independent wrestler Kevin Ku.)
Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe, who says that MJF ducked him like a bitch in the men's Casino Gauntlet Match. He says that is now just getting started between himself and MJF, who has only experienced a portion of "Dem Boys." He says that MJF made a mistake conjuring up the other side of "Dem Boys" and that he will make MJF pay for his sins.
"The Toxic Spider" Thekla beats Queen Aminata, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale in a $100,000 4-Way Fight after Willow and Statlander brawl their way to the back before Skye Blue shows up and distracts referee Aubrey Edwards so that Julia Hart can show up and spit green mist in Aminata's face.
"Timeless" Toni Storm shows up on the balcony. Toni Storm announces that she is still AEW Women's World Champion before thanking Mercedes Moné for going all in with her. She says they did everything they set out to do, despite warning Mercedes that she would eat her alive if she made a fatal mistake. She declares that Mercedes Moné was "delicious" and that if she wants to come back for seconds, the buffet is always open. Toni also mentions that Luther was injured in the line of duty and that it requires reattachment surgery. She then proclaims that her tits are pointing to the future and that there are plenty of people with knives and that she ought to be careful. She states that the AEW Women's World Championship is "the big one" before Athena and Billie Starkz appear on the video screen. Athena says that soon, she will become "the forever AEW Women's World Championship" and reminds Toni Storm that Mina Shirakawa is hurt after she got in her way. She says that there will be nobody left to save Toni when she cashes in her Casino Gauntlet title shot. After entertaining when and where she could end Toni's world title reign, Athena says it is time to stop looking for happy endings, as her demise and murder are here. Toni is more than eager to accept Athena's challenge.
Backstage, we hear from Kip Sabian, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne. Sabian says he chose Christian Cage, and says he took bullet after bullet when Christian Cage might as well had been pulling the trigger. He says they are no longer under a patriarch, but beside a matriarch. Mother Wayne says Nick and Sabian are her boys now and that Nick is her prodigy. Nick Wayne tells Christian Cage that he is past his expiration date to the point that he became a liability to them, and that he realized that months ago when Christian Cage strayed from the path and decided to do his own thing in becoming AEW World Champion. He says that Christian loved to get in his face and question how many world championship he has won when he is only 20 years old, and that the real question is how many world title he is going to win and what else he could do in his career. He says that Christian created this monster, and now he and the rest of AEW have to live with him as the new face of TNT and AEW, now and forever.
Don Callis introduces "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who now has a new entrance, before the next match.
"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada quickly beats an unnamed opponent. After the match, Okada addresses Swerve Strickland, saying that he screwed The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) before calling him a bitch. Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana show up, then Swerve tells Okada "Yeah, I did that. What you gonna do about it, bitch?"
"Hangman" Adam Page, Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxkey, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) with a jackknife pin from Hangman to Moxley. After the match, The Death Riders go on the attack, but all of a sudden, the arena goes dark, and Darby Allin is seen in the luxury box. Hangman hits Moxley with the Buckshot Lariat as The Death Riders retreat.
Here are the highlights for tonight's show!
