Dynamite 300 - Dynamite recap for July 2, 2025

"Hangman" Adam Page heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Hangman says he has said plenty about how much his World Championship match and how much AEW means to him, and that he made a promise that at All In Texas, he would win the World Championship and show it for the whole world to see. He says that one can wrap a chain around his neck and hang him from the sky, but you would have to kill him to make him pass this opportunity by, and that he will not let anyone get in his way of the title. He knows that The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) are coming and that he welcomes them, then tells Jon Moxley to give him everything or give him death, as their match will be a Texas Death Match. Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir head to the ring, and Moxley sees this as Hangman putting all of his chips - his life, health and career - all on the line and all on the table with the AEW World Championship up for grabs. Moxley refuses to go along with this, saying that Hangman does not want this as he is going to lose simply because he does not want to win and he is happy right where he is. He says that Hangman only won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament because it was not the highest peak, then says that he lives in pressure. Moxley says he is more than the best in the world and the AEW World Championship and that he will show that at All In Texas and show exactly what he is, stating that Hangman does not have what it takes to beat him for the AEW World Championship. He also states that Moxley does not have what it takes to beat him in a Texas Death Match, much less what it takes to walk away from one. Hangman smacks Moxley, and when Moxley strikes back, Hangman produces a fork. Wheeler Yuta gets smacked when he confronts Hangman, and when Marina Shafir hits Hangman with the briefcase and slaps him multiple times, Hangman withstands everything. Yuta grabs Hangman's angle as Hangman makes Shafir slowly back off, and Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli gang up on Hangman as Moxley and Shafir retreat. Claudio soon hits Hangman with the Neutralizer, then Claudio and Yuta join Shafir and Moxley as Hangman rips his shirt off and grabs the microphone. Hangman asks Moxley if this is the best he has, as he is still standing. He also calls Claudio a bitch and a lap dog, and an incensed Claudio heads back towards the ring only to run into Samoa Joe. Claudio teases jumping the barricade with Wheeler Yuta, but Powerhouse Hobbs and "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata show up and join Samoa Joe. Shafir then shows up behind Hangman with the briefcase, but Hangman sees her coming. Hangman hands the briefcase back to Shafir, then walks away before telling Moxley that he will do anything that it takes before hitting Shafir with a Buckshot Lariat.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Mina Shirakawa with an inside cradle. After the match, Mercedes attacks Mina from behind. When "Timeless" Toni Storm checks on Mina, Mercedes hits her in the back of the head with the TBS Championship before licking the cake near Toni's steak dinner and tossing champagne at Luther.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Matthew Jackson surprises Nicholas Jackson with a "Founding Fathers" limousine full of Nike sneakers in the back seat. They then take a tour of the local area in the limo. They check out Rancha Cucamonga, California and reminisce on some memories. After the commercial break, The Young Bucks look at more of Rancho Cucamonga and meet with some old friends before getting back in the limo.

MJF beats AR Fox, Brody King and Anthony Bowens in a Fatal 4-Way Match to enter the Men's Casino Gauntlet at #2 after making AR Fox submit to Salt of the Earth with a leg catch. After the match, Mark Briscoe shows up in a tanktop with the words "MJF has a tiny (kosher) pickle" on it and congratulates MJF, then tells MJF he has guaranteed himself an uninterrupted ass whupping at All In Texas. After the fans chant "Kosher Pickle" at MJF, Briscoe tells MJF that his "blue collar bitch" has ensured him an ass whupping, then says that he is two steps ahead, and dares MJF to have a face-to-face meeting with him in the ring minus The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley). After Mark Briscoe leaves, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Night show up and fight Shelton and Lashley, but Shelton and Lashley get the upper hand. Speedball and Knight refuse to stay down, and Shelton and Lashley have to go back to the ring again to ensure they stay down. Knight grabs a microphone and says that he and Speedball are still alive, and says that while Shelton and Lashley may know how to hurt people, they will have to kill them to retain the tag team titles. MVP holds Shelton and Lashley back as Knight wants a one-on-one match with Shelton at Collision.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) return to the arena and make their way to the ring.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita beat Paragon (Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) and Bandido in a Heroes vs. Villains trios match. After the match, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland show up and attack The Young Bucks, forcing them to retreat. Swerve demands that The Young Bucks accept their challenge from last week. Swerve says that he and Ospreay are not replacing The Young Bucks as EVP's, saying that the position belongs to the fans, and that Tony Khan is who really runs AEW. Will Ospreay then questions The Young Bucks' courage before Matthew says "Hell no," as they get nothing out of the match. Ospreay says that if The Young Bucks win, then he and Swerve cannot challenge for the World Championship for one year. Matthew says this is the smartest thing Ospreay has come up with, but wants to make sure Swerve is on the same page before they have a deal. Swerve reluctantly says they have a deal.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland beat La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico and The Beast Mortos) in a Heroes vs. Villains tag team match.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada beats Kota Ibushi. After the match, Rocky Romero shows up, then he, Lance Archer, Don Callis and Okada gang up on Ibushi until Kenny Omega chases them all away with a metal folding chair. Trent Beretta shows up and tries to attack Omega from behind with a screwdriver, but Kota Ibushi stops him and Omega finishes the job.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
