Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 7, 2025

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman head to the ring to start tonight's show. Bron Breakker takes the microphone and says that Rollins and Heyman have a vision of WWE that has him as the face of WWE for the next two decades, but he has a vision of his own: a WWE without Sami Zayn. As Rollins and Heyman are talking in the background, Breakker says he does not like Sami at all and that he will never understand why the fans cheer for someone with "the athletic ability of a dead fish" who is clinging to relevancy. He says that Sami has an expiration date and that he will put a stamp on it tonight, and if Sami comes down the ramp, he will maul his head off and leave him looking at the lights. Rollins asks Breakker if he is good, then hands the microphone to Bronson, who says that he is a tough act to follow just like Breaker, especially after he hit Rollins with six Tsunamis and caused Rollins to respect him so much to make him part of his vision. Bronson says that as part of Rollins' vision, he will get the respect that he deserves, and since "Main Event" Jey Uso does not respect, he will Tsunami the respect into him like he did Rollins. Heyman then takes the microphone and declares that tonight, "the empire strikes first," with Sami Zayn first on their list, saying it is Sami's ass if he does not flee back to Montreal, Quebec, Canada at this point. He says that Roman Reigns does not have the balls to come back thanks to Bronson, and that Jey Uso will be MIA thanks to him. Heyman then announces that Rollins will take care of Penta, and that Penta will be in no shape to do hand signals again after tonight. The fans chant for CM Punk, then Rollins welcomes everyone to tonight's show.

Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez notices candles and a photograph for Liv Morgan, noting that Liv Morgan is alive and that retaining their tag team gold and Roxanne Perez beating Kairi Sane would make a better picture foor The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez). Dominik then finds a "Get Well Soon" cake from "The Phenomena;" AJ Styles, who watches him from a distance, after Finn Balor and JD McDonagh leave to meet with General Manager Adam Pearce.

Kairi Sane beats Roxanne Perez with a backslide pin after avoiding Pop Rox. After the match, Roxanne and Raquel beat Kairi Sane up, then Asuka shows up and fights them. Raquel is about to hit Asuka with a Tejana Bomb, but Kairi is able to make the save for Asuka and help her take down Roxanne.

He says he will deal with Karrion Kross when he deals with him. Sami Zayn leaves, then Scarlett shows up and watches Sami Zayn.

Backstage, American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile)meets with General Manager Adam Pearce. Brutus almost lets it slip that Chad Gable is El Grande Americano as Ivy Nile finds out she is in the Evolution Battle Royal. After American Made leaves, Asuka and Kairi Sane show up wanting a match with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, and they get it for Evolution whent hey become part of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match at Evolution.

We hear from Nikki Bella, who addresses Liv Morgan's attack on her and how it lit a fire in her, and now, she wants to return to the ring. She plans to enter the Evolution Battle Royal and do whatever it takes to get a title shot at Clash in Paris.

Karrion Kross attacks Sami Zayn before the next match before hitting him in the ribs with a pipe. Officials stop Kross before he can do even more damage. After the commercial break, Sami Zayn tells General Manager Adam Pearce and the medical team that he will still face Bron Breakker.

Bron Breakker beats Sami Zayn following multiple Spears.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) when The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up in mourning. As The War Raiders tell The New Day there are no automatic tag team title rematches, Becky Lynch shows up and stands up for The New Day.

Becky Lynch is in the ring. Becky wants to know how two people who lost to each other are now facing her in a Triple Threat Match for the Women's Intercontinental Championship, and that while she is the greatest women's wrestler to ever live, she beat both of them and should pick her own opponent. She accuses Bayley and Lyra Valkyria of being in cahoots with each other due to neither of them being able to beat her on their own, then Bayley shows up only for Valkyria to show up right after her and walk right past her to Becky. Valkyria calls Becky "a raving lunatic" before declaring it is time to take her title back. Bayley says she would be standing here as champion if not for Valkyria. Bayley says that WrestleMania has taught her that she does not need friends or partners, and that what she needs is the title. Becky laughs at this broken friendship before Valkyria tells Bayley she had nothing to do with Becky's attack on her. Valkyria then takes Bayley's admission of not needing friends or partners as proof that Bayley is just like Becky and that she will have to win the Women's Intercontinental Champion from "two big disappointments." Bayley tells Valkyria that she watched her rise to become a double champion only to lose to Becky and "raise her hand like a little bitch." This starts a brawl, and Valkyria comes out on top before sarcastically raising Becky's hand.

Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins congratulates Bron Breakker, but Breakker asks about Karrion Kross. Rollins tells Breakker not to worry about him when Paul Heyman shows up and states that Sami Zayn is out of action indefinitely. Rollins reminds "Big" Bronson Reed that "Main Event" Jey Uso is in fine health, but Bronson says he will not be after he is done with him.

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats "Big" Bronson Reed by disqualification after Bronson throws a chair from the announce table at Jey. After the match, Bronson Reed hits Jey Uso with two Tsunamis before officials show up to check on Jey.

We hear from LA Knight, who states that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins has a lot of paying up to do and that the Money in the Bank briefcase will be a burden for him. He then plans to get revenge on Rollins at Saturday Night's Main Event.

We see a video package of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky's history with each other in WWE.

El Grande Americano beats Dragon Lee after adjusting his mask and headbutting him. During the match, it is evident that somebody else is El Grande Americano.

Backstage, Paul Heyman warns Penta, but Penta is having none of it. Bron Breakker shows up to defend Heyman, but Penta is having none of that, either.

We see a short video package for Stephanie Vaquer.

Gunther heads to the ring. He talks about how Goldberg has done nothing about anything he has done to him in the last two weeks, but as soon as he says that Goldberg is afraid of him and the pressure, Goldberg shows up[ in a red-and-black Chevy SS. Goldberg makes his way to the ring and confronts Gunther, smacks the microphone out of his hand and dares Gunther to hit him. Gunther swings, but Goldberg blocks and strikes back before going for the Spear, which Gunther rolls out of the ring to avoid.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats Penta with a headbutt to the groin followed by The Stomp. After the match, Paul Heyman summons Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed, but Rollins is attacked from behind by LA Knight, who then runs through the crowd to end the show.
