The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance) retain the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships against The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) during the countdown after M by Elegance smacks Cassie Lee with her statue of Liberty torch on the outside.
The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) head to the ring. Eric Young calls New York City "a garbage city filled with garbage people" before saying that their sports teams suck. He then calls The Northern Armory three thoroughbreds and icons from "a real country." He says that there is a conspiracy against The Northern Armory and that everyone is against him, as he keeps getting kicked out of buildings and suspended while Cody Deaner was fired, and says The Home Town Man "is a fraud." As Eric Young dares the fans to fight him, The Home Town Man shows up and sends a referee to the ring. Judas Icarus and Travis Williams go after him only to get taken out, and an impromptu countdown match begins.
The Home Town Man beats Eric Young during the countdown after escaping the piledriver and sitting down when Young goes for a Sunset Flip after Young nearly fights the referee after a kick-out and The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) tries to fight the fans in the front row.
Before the next match, Real1 introduces Fourth Rope as well as Zilla Fatu and Josh Bishop before making fun of the opposition for tonight's match.
Real1, Zilla Fatu and Joey Bishop beat Steve Maclin, Mance Warner and Jake Something during the countdown after Mance Warner inadvertently clotheslines Jake Something.
The Star Spangled Banner is performed.
Mustafa Ali beats Cedric Alexander. During the match, Tasha Steelz is ejected from ringside for confronting the referee; she later comes back with a metal folding chair in hand only to be stopped by Cedric and hit with a Lumbar Check. As Cedric is still on the ground, Mustafa hits Cedric with a top rope 450 splash to get the win.
We are introduced to the French announce team of Handsome JF and Marc Blondin.
Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Joe Hendry. Hendry says the whole world is watching and that it has all come down to a Triple Threat Match, and while he respects Mike Santana and hates Trick Williams, the weight of the world is on him and everyone believes in Joe Hendry.
The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, JDC) and Matt Cardona beat DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) in an eight-man tag match.
As per the Bioflex Injury Report, Trey Miguel is still not medically cleared, and Myron Reed will take his place tonight. KC Navarro is cleared following a knee injury, while Elijah is still out with a torn triceps but has successfully underwent surgery.
Gia Miller interviews Tim Malcom from TLC's 90 Day Fiance. Tim is enjoying the show, which is the first Slammiversary he has ever seen live on location.
Indi Hartwell beats Tessa Blanchard after hitting Hurts, Don't It? three times. After the match, Gia Miller interviews Indi Hartwell, but she is soon attacked by Tessa Blanchard, who also slaps Gia Miller and slams her head on the steel steps while Victoria Crawford holds Indi back.
Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella screams at Tessa Blanchard for her actions. Tessa says she was putting Gia Miller in her place, but Santino says there will be consequences, and Tessa is carried out of the building by security.
Backstage, The Elegance Brand (The Personal Concierge George Iceman, Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance) are about to celebrate when The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) confront them for needing to cheat to win. The IInspiration then tell The Elegance Brand that they will now have a six-woman tag match.
Jacy Jayne beats Masha Slamovich to retain the NXT Women's Championship and win the TNA Knockouts World Championship! During the match, Jacy Jayne inadvertently knocks out the referee with a superkick. Masha hits the Snow Plow, but a second referee who shows up does not show up fast enough to count to three. Masha counters a Rolling Encore with a schoolkid pin attempt, but Jacy Jayne escapes it and hits the move the second time around to become a double champion. After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva personally awards Jacy Jayne both championships.
Backstage, Eric Young chews out Judas Icarus and Travis Williams, then says things are going to change and that they will either get on board or get lost.
Tonight's Slammiversary record attendance is 7,623, the most for a TNA show in North America in the company history.
Moose is seen sitting on a throne during his entrance before the next match.
Leon Slater beats Moose to become the TNA X Division Champion and become the youngest to ever hold the title at 20 years old, beating the record of 21 years previously held by Amazing Red since early in the company's history. Near the end of the match, Moose rolls away from an attempt at the top rope Swanton 450, but Slater hits him with a Swanton Bomb from the top rope successfully in defiance. He then hits a Swanton 450 from another corner to win the match and the title After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva is about to present Slater with the title when Moose takes it away and places it around Slater's waist in a rare sign of respect. Afterwards, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up in TNA for the first time since he lost the TNA World Heavyweight Championship to Magnus (now Nick Aldis) in 2014. AJ Styles asks the fans if they missed him, then says it has been a long road, but he is back in the house where his name was built. He admits there was a time when people said he may not be able to come back, but he is here, and things are better than ever. Styles tells Slater he does not deserve the X Division Championship; he earned it, and that Slater made him realize why he loves this business. He tells Slater that he showed everyone tonight why it is not weight limits, but no limits, which was the foundation when he started. He calls Slater the future and that the X Division "is in phenomenal hands." Styles tells Slater that he has made history tonight, and that it is now time to make his legacy. He then raises Slater's hand.

3oh Black performs "We Outside" during Fir$t Cla$$' (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) entrance before the next match.
The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth), The Rascalz (Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz) and Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) in a four-way tag team ladder match to become the TNA World Tag Team Champions for the fourth time! During the match, all of the ladders get destroyed, and a thin rope ladder with plastic rungs drops down from the top of the arena. After the match, Bully Ray suddenly shows up and congratulates The Hardys on winning another tag team championship. He says that they are "catching up," and that they are a reason for an attendance record for tonight's show. He then reveals why he is here: he brings up their tag team ladder match at Royal Rumble 2000 and how their paths have crossed since then, then brings up the discussion of who the greatest tag team of all time is. Bully Ray says that everyone can agree it is The Road Warriors (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), but as far as who the most successful is, it is all about giving fans the last great tag team match of all time. He says this is about something special that can never happen again, and announces that in October at Bound For Glory, The Hardys and Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) will face off in one last match. The fans chant "Where is Devon?" Bully Ray says that "Devon! Get the tables!" will be heard one last time.
Bound For Glory will be live on October 12th!
Director of Authority Santino Marella announces that Tessa Blanchard has been suspended indefinitely following her attack on Gia Miller before asking the rest of the countdown panel for their main event predictions. All of a sudden, Frankie Kazarian shows up and mocks the countdown panel, then says nobody has done more for TNA than him, as he is the uncrowned world champion, and since he is not champion, he will be guesting on commentary for the next match.
Mike Santana is played to the ring by Blass 89, while The Harlem Gospel Ensemble play Trick Williams to the ring before the next match.
Trick Williams retains the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a Triple Threat Match. During the match, Frankie Kazarian pulls the referee out of the ring after Joe Hendry hits Trick Williams with the Standing Ovation, and is promptly ejected from ringside and commentary. Also during the match, the medical team has to hold Trick Williams up during the match after Trick is supposedly injured, but the match ends with Trick getting back in the ring after Santana hits Hendry with Spin The Block twice and tossing Santana out of the ring to steal the win and retain the title.
