My predictions for TNA Slammiversary XII

Eric Young (c) vs. TBA vs. TBA
for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage Match

Well, it was bound to happen. MVP turns on both Eric Young and the people in order to get more power for himself. Now the title on the line, and Eric Young will be facing his biggest challenge yet. Just before Slammiversary, Eric Young was able to make the stipulation for the match...and he's made it a steel cage match? Will MVP's power trip come to an end?

Well, apparently not, because after the last episode of Impact Wrestling before Slammiversary was aired, it became known that MVP's knee injury - which he suffered at a house show in England on May 30th - would keep him from being in the main event. The match will go on as planned, but it will now be a three-way dance where Eric Young takes on the winners of both the Austin Aries vs. Kenny King match and the Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley match.

My prediction: Eric Young will probably retain.

Bully Ray vs. Ethan Carter III
in a Texas Death Match

Bully Ray plans on taking it all the way to Dixie Carter in his journey for revenge against her...and Ethan Carter III just might be a nagging flab in Bully's quest to put Dixie and her cronies through tables!

My prediction: Bully Ray will probably win this one.

Marshall and Ross Von Erich vs. TBA

Marshall and Ross Von Erich, the newest generation of the Von Erich wrestling family, are headed to TNA!

My prediction: The Von Erichs will win.

Willow vs. Magnus

After weeks of fighting between these two men, it all comes to a head at Slammiversary XII! Can Magnus truly get his competitive edge back?

My prediction: Expecting Magnus to win this one somehow.

Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley

Thanks to an equal playing between MVP and his goons and those who are against him, it was only a matter of time before the other two guys take on the goons. Joe's taking on Lashley, so we get two big men in this match.

My prediction: Lashley will win, most likely through interference.

Austin Aries vs. Kenny King

Since Joe is taking on Lashley, Austin Aries is taking on Kenny King. If only the X Division title was on the line...

My prediction: Kenny King will win, most likely through interference.

Sanada (c) vs. Manik vs. Tigre Uno vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards
in a Ladder Match for the TNA X Division Championship

Not to be outdone by you-know-who, TNA also does a ladder match for a title, this time for the X Division championship. One thing is for sure: this one's gonna get extreme.

My prediction: Sanada will probably retain.

Angelina Love (c) vs. Gail Kim
for the TNA Knockouts Championship

After winning a three-way dance to determine the #1 contender for the Knockouts Title, Gail Kim just might be the first real test to Angelina Love's record-breaking sixth title reign!

My prediction: Gail Kim will take the title.

Slammiversary XI recap

Chris Sabin beats Kenny King and Suicide to win the TNA X Division Championship!

Hulk Hogan shows up and calls Chris Sabin "the future of the business" before stating that Sabin now has a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Destination X. As Hulk gets down to real business, Mr. Anderson, Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff of Aces and Eights show up. Anderson runs his mouth, but Hulk tells him very explicitly that their days are numbered...and the six-man tag match begins now!

Jeff Hardy, Magnus and Samoa Joe beat Aces and Eights (Mr. Anderson, Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff).

Jeremy Borash interviews Joseph Park, who has been in TNA for one year. He is suddenly attacked by Knux and Devon, and left bloodied in the back.

Jay Bradley beatsSam Shaw to win the Gut Check Bound For Glory tournament and go on to the Bound For Glory series. He tells everyone they're looking at the future TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Jeremy Borash interviews Austin Aries and Bobby Roode. These two have made history on each other, and Roode tells Jame Storm "Gunnar is no Bobby Roode."

Joseph Park fails to show up for his match against Devon for the TNA Television Championship. Devon forces the ref to ring the bell and give Park until the count of tne to show up. He doesn't. Devon retains the TNA Television Championship, but then runs his mouth talking trash about Abyss and bragging that he'd "whip his ass" in a match. Abyss shows up and brings the pain.

Abyss beats Devon to win the TNA Television Championship!

Dixie Carter shows up. After the TNA locker room walks out to the entrance ramp, Dixie inducts Kurt Angle into the TNA Hall of Fame.

Jeremy Borash interviews Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian). They know the four-team elimination match is important, but they plans to come out on top.

Gunnar and James Storm beat Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian), the team of Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez and the team of Bobby Roode and Austin Aries to win the TNA Tag Team Championships!

Jeremy Borash interviws Brooke Hogan. It's been a great year for the Knockouts...but she won't talk about Bully Ray at all.

Taryn Terrell beats Gail Kim in a brutal Last Knockout Standing match.

Kurt Angle beats AJ Styles.

Bully Ray still thinks Sting made the worst mistake ever for accepting his stipulation for their match. He mentions the piledriver before saying that he will beat Sting with it.

As Sting fights Bully Ray, Brook Hogan shows concern for Bully...but why?

Later in the match, Bully Ray grabs a knife andc cuts the apron, dismantling the ring as the crowd chants "ECW!" Sting still kicks out of a second piledriver, and is able to fight back. Just when he has the match won, the rest of Aces and Eights show up and attack Sting. Sting is able to fight back again, and when Devon throws the chain into the ring, Sting catches it and uses it against Bully Ray. Mr. Anderson sneaks a hammer to Bully Ray, however, and it's all over. After a nasty No Holds Barred match, Bully Ray retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, who can never compete for it again.

My predictions for TNA Slammiversary XI

Here's a first. Instead of a WWE pay-per-view, I decided to do a predictions entry for Slammiversary XI, which is happening in three days.

Bully Ray vs Sting

No Holds Barred Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

This is it. It's Sting's one and only shot. If Sting loses, he will never be able to wrestle for the world title again. Everyone's pulling for him, and Bully Ray will be pulling out all the stops to make sure he doesn't win.

My prediction: Sting. It's now or never. If he can wrest the title from him, it will be not only be a brand new chapter for TNA, it'll be a new chapter in the war against Aces & Eights. He has to do it.

AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle

After all that's happened ever since AJ Styles came back as a lone wolf, Kurt Angle is one very, very angry wrestling cyborg, especially when AJ keeps attacking him. It's the war to settle the score!

My prediction: Close one, but I'm expecting Kurt Angle to come out on top...barely.

Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez

vs

Bad Influence

(Christopher Daniels and Kazarian)

vs

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries

vs

"The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar

Four-Way Elimination Tag Team Match for the TNA Tag Team Championships

Oh, wow. How this has evolved. We haven't seen Gunnar in months, and now he's come back as a bearded power machine. He and Storm have less experience as a unit than anyone else, but could they win it all?

My prediction: Storm and Gunnar. Definitely wanting these two guys to win it. Storm hasn't held gold in quite some time, and while I like Bad Influence as well as Roode/Aries, I'd like to see the underdog win this one.

Devon vs Joseph Park

for the TNA Television Championship

Devon is defending the TV title? About time.

My prediction: The TV title needs to be interesting again. Ever since Devon got his hands back on it, the weekly TV title defense is dead. This is Park's first true major test as a wrestler. Devon's got the experience, but Park has the heart and soul, and it's all going down to who wants it more. I'm going for Park.

Kenny King vs Suicide vs Chris Sabin

Ultimate X Match for the TNA X Division Championship

Chris Sabin is back after two torn ACLs and Suicide is back after a two-year absence. Watch your back, Kenny. You've got some real opponents now.

My prediction: It's hard to count any of these men out. I think Sabin might get it in the end. It's not just that he deserves it, though. He's been coming back in grand form much like Suicide has, but he is really winning matches. That momentum could be the deciding point.

Gail Kim vs Taryn Terrell

Last Knockout Standing match

Kim has the experience. Taryn has the drive. These two have been going at each other's throats for months, and I have to admit that this was the last way I'd think that this would be decided. Still, you've got to give the match some attention somehow, right?

My prediction: I think Gail Kim might win this one. With all due respect, Taryn is still a little green at this point.

Jay Bradley vs Sam Shaw

TNA Gut Check Winner Tournament Finals

Winner goes on to Bound For Glory 2013

I really don't know much about these two guys, to be honest...so I'm leaving this completely up to chance. Still, whoever wins this gets to go on to take on some real competition in TNA.

My prediction: Jay Bradley. Just because.

Aces and Eights

(Wes Brisco, D.O.C. and Garett Bischoff)

vs

Samoa Joe, Magnus and Jeff Hardy

Well, this is interesting. This one was just made on the last weekly episode before the pay-per-view. Didn't expect Jeff Hardy to come back so soon, and not in a match such as this either. Now that all three men are back and healthy again, will they take out the cowardly lower echelon of this biker group-turned-wrestling stable?

My predictions: My hope is that they will. They're back, and they're more focused on doing what they need to do. Hopefully this will be enough for Joe, Magnus and Hardy to get the win.

And there you have it! My predictions for Slammiversary XI!
