My predictions for WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2017

Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox

This match happened because it happened on the Raw before TLC...so now it has to happen again.

My prediction: Sasha will probably win this one, too, just like she did at Raw.

Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

It used to be fat jokes and "Piggie James" for Mickie the first time around; now it's ageist jokes and gifted Depends boxes this time around. Can Mickie James prove Alexa Bliss wrong, or does Alexa have the physical and the psychological victory?

My prediction: Alexa Bliss will probably retain.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins)
vs.
Braun Strowman, The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Kane

in a 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match

The Shield is back! Ambrose says The Shield will take on multiple men at once if they have to...and The Miz decides "open mouth, insert money" is the best counter to this. He's taken Roman's archenemy of the moment - Braun Strowman - as well as Seth and Dean's current adversaries in Sheamus and Cesaro and made him part of his team. Even better, The Miz wanted to add a fifth man less than a week before TLC, and this led to a steel cage match between Roman and Strowman, where if Strowman won, Miz got his fifth man. That fifth man emerged in the form of Kane, who has not been seen in WWE in months, and he helped Strowman walk away with the victory and Miz with the two-man advantage. How is The Shield going to get through this one?

My prediction: The Shield is going all the way. Somehow.

Asuka vs. Emma

Asuka's gonna kill you. On the main roster.

My prediction: Asuka City, clap clap clapclapclap.

Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Because Enzo Amore just has to use his rematch clause against the one man who wasn't in the Cruiserweight Division when Enzo's clauses effect and was able to take his title, we have this match again.

My prediction: Enzo will probably take the title back, and it won't be pretty...or as legal as a headlock, either.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann
vs.
The Brian Kendrick and "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher

Not to be outdone by Enzo and Kalisto, 205 Live brings another hot feud from its programming to TLC. Interestingly, this one has seen Gallagher turn heel as of late.

My prediction: Kendrick and Gallagher are winning this one.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Yep, this match again. And Sister Abigail is involved in some way this time.

My prediction: Finn Balor is winning again, this time as The Demon.

My predictions for Hell In A Cell 2017

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin
vs.
The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley)

Another last-minute match made for the kick-off! Yay!

My prediction: Gable and Benjamin will win this one.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal (c)

for the WWE Championship

Well, at least the match will probably be better than the promos where Jinder made fun of Shinsuke. As a matter of fact, it probably won't be a joke compared to those promos.

My prediction: Jinder will probably retain.

Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens

in a Hell In A Cell Match

Everything has hit the fan when it comes to Kevin Owens' irritation with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon as of late now that Owens has talked smacked about Shane's family and gotten beaten up for it. After Vince McMahon fired - and then unfired - Shane for him not beating Owens to a bloody pulp, he put Owens in a Hell In A Cell Match against Shane only to get headbutted.

My prediction: Shane will probably win this one.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

in a Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Talk about taking Uso Penitentiary to a figurative and literal level! These two teams are still going at it for the blue brand's tag team titles, and now the stakes have been raised high enough to make this a Hell In A Cell Match.

My prediction: The New Day will retain.

Charlotte vs. Natalya (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Well, it was only a matter of time before these two faced each other for a title again. This time, the blue brand women's belt is on the line. The bar just might get raised here...

My prediction: Natalya will probably retain.

Baron Corbin vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Corbin may have come up short in his Money In The Bank Briefcase cash-in, but he has hit it big in causing chaos wherever he goes. Now he has a shot at the WWE United States Championship...

My prediction: Corbin will take the title.

Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler

After making fun of other Superstars and their entrances, saying they can't come close to what he does in the ring, Ziggler may have met his match - at least in the in-ring ability department - in recent main roster call-up Bobby Roode, who now wants Ziggler to put his money where his mouth is.

My prediction: Roode will probably win this one.

Randy Orton vs. Rusev

Orton and Rusev finally have their match after beating each other in 10 seconds as well as a couple of RKOs out of nowhere. This one probably won't take ten seconds.

My prediction: Orton will probably win this one.

My predictions for No Mercy 2017

Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Oh, boy. This is gonna be crazy. We have two monsters in the ring. Neither of them are seven feet tall, but they are huge and powerful as they are agile and crafty, and this just might be one heck of a match. These two are going to destroy each other for Raw's top prize...

My prediction: Brock Lesnar will probably retain.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns

Well, it's finally happened. Somebody is ticked off with Cena with this, that and the other. In other words, the same reasons as "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles. At least this match is finally happening.

My prediction: Roman will probably win this one...clean.

Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

These two teams are going at it again in a rematch for the red brand tag team titles...

My prediction: Ambrose and Rollins will retain.

Emma vs. Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Well, this one's interesting. This was supposed to be just Sasha vs. Alexa for the red brand's Women's title, but when there was a tag team match where the potential for the match to become a Fatal 4-Way, Alexa and Sasha lost to Emma and Nia Jax, who ended up becoming part of the title picture on September 24th. Now the chances of Alexa losing the title are bigger than ever, especially now that Bayley has been added at the last second because she not injured any more. How is Alexa gonna get out of this one?

My prediction: Sasha Banks is taking the title again.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt's being the popularity police with Finn Balor. After the two matches before and at SummerSlam weren't enough, these two are going at it one more time...

My prediction: Finn is probably going to win this one.

Enzo Amore vs. Neville (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Ever since Enzo Amore has debuted on 205 Live, he has won his matches by any means necessary...including a Fatal 5-Way Match to decide a new #1 contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Now the man who has won all his 205 Live by any means necessary is now up against the man who has defended and retained the title by any means necessary. This one will prove to be interesting...

My prediction: Neville will probably retain.

Jason Jordan vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

This match was set up the Raw before No Mercy, adding new emphasis to the term "last-second booking." A Fatal 4-Way was planned to name a #1 contender shortly after Miz complained about not having a title defense for No Mercy, but after The Miz kept talking trash about Kurt Angle, Jason Jordan came to his dad's defense and also asked that Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel be added so that Miz has no excuses when he loses. Jason Jordan ended up winning that match, and now The Miz is more hell-bent to make sure Jordan languishes in obscurity than ever...

My prediction: The Miz will probably retain.

My predictions for SummerSlam 2017

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe
vs. Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Well, it had to happen, didn't it? We have three strong, angry and deadly guys gunning for the Universal title all at once...so let's put them all against Brock Lesnar, who is also strong, angry and deadly! That'll work! Yeah, this won't be a five-star match. This will be a war.

My prediction: Roman Reigns is probably taking the Universal Title.

Natalya vs. Naomi (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Natalya has earned herself a shot at the Blue Brand's women's title...and had made this a war about tradition, saying that Naomi has absolutely no respect for it. Naomi, in the meantime, had placed a piece of herself in the SmackDown Women's title, and plans to blaze her own path as a champion. But she'll have to get past Natalya...and maybe even Carmella, who still has the Money In The Bank Contract...

My prediction: Naomi will probably retain.

Will Carmella cash in? Probably. If she does, she will take the title.

Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

This was supposed to be Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss for the title, but Bayley injured her shoulder during a match with Nia Jax. This led to two Women's Triple Threat Matches, with the winners of both facing each other one-on-one to become the new #1 contender. This led to an amazing match between Sasha Banks and Nia Jax where Sasha got the win with the Banks Statement. The only question now is...can she win it again?

My prediction: Alexa Bliss will probably retain.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal (c)

for the WWE Championship

Well, that didn't take long! "The King of Strong Style" already has a shot at the WWE Championship after being on the main roster only a few months. Jinder Mahal, however, will be his toughest opponent yet, and he had some fierce competition before that in the form of John Cena just to get here. Who is going to win this championship match of international proportions?

My prediction: Jinder Mahal will probably retain.

Neville vs. Akira Tozawa (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Now that Austin Aries is no longer challenging for the Cruiserweight Championship despite having four chances to get it (and no longer working in WWE, for that matter), Tozawa ended up being the recipient of a grand-prize winning entry into the "beat Neville for the belt with the purple strap" sweepstakes. On the Raw before SummerSlam, however, he and Neville had a match for the Cruiserweight title...and Tozawa won. Now there is a rematch at SummerSlam...

My prediction: Akira Tozawa will retain.

Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles (c)

for the WWE United States Championship; SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon is the special guest referee

The United States title has had "Hot Potato" played with it for a little while as of late...but when AJ Styles took the United States title back from Kevin Owens to become a two-time United States Champion, Owens had only one of his shoulders down. Not surprisingly, Owens has a rematch for the title because of that, and now we have these two going at it for the United States title again. Also, at the request of Kevin Owens, there is a special guest referee...and it's Shane McMahon! However, Shane has been less than unbiased as a ref in years past, especially in the Attitude Era, and Styles does not trust Shane. Shane has made it clear to him that he will call the match at SummerSlam down the middle, but if Styles lays a hand on him again, it will get physical. Only time will tell...

My prediction: Styles might retain.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Yep, we're having the rematch for these titles at SummerSlam.

My prediction: The New Day will retain.

Randy Orton vs. Rusev

Here's a match we've never ever had before...and it's been three years since Rusev debuted on the main roster. Rusev wanted an opponent...now he's got one. This might be fun...

My prediction: Randy Orton will probably win this one.

Big Show vs. Big Cass

with Enzo Amore in a shark cage suspended above the ring

The feud between Big Show - who has been on the side of Enzo - and Big Cass has come to a head. These two will square off one more time, but this time, Enzo is in a shark cage in order to ensure a definite winner. (Of course, Enzo might drop something from above the ring, so you never know.)

My prediction: Big Cass will win this one somehow.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Oh, Bray Wyatt. Apparently you have something against somebody for one reason or another again. This time, it's Finn Balor. And it's for basically the same reasons as Seth Rollins last month. Oh, boy. All of a sudden, this match happens at the Raw before SummerSlam. Wyatt won, then he poured a bucket of blood on Finn Balor, because he's Bray Wyatt. Finn Balor then gets with Kurt Angle and gets a rematch for SummerSlam, and says that even though Wyatt has his demons, he has his demons, too. Demon Balor rides again!

My prediction: Finn Balor will win this one.

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin

And we have this match which we have had yet to see as well. During the aftermath of Cena vs. Nakamura, Corbin decided to attack Nakamura, but Super Cena stepped in and save the day. Now Cena and Corbin are going to go at it for real...

My prediction: Baron Corbin will win this one.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus and Cesaro (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Well, this is interesting. After weeks of a tease of a mini-Shield reunion where the remnants of Dean and Seth's trust towards each other were tested, Dean and Seth finally got back together as a team when they helped each other after a brief pushing and shoving match that was interrupted when they received a beating from both Sheamus and Cesaro. Raw General Manager Kurt Angle was quick to make a tag team title match out of this, and now we have a match for the red brand's tag titles

My prediction: Sheamus and Cesaro will probably retain.

My predictions for Battleground 2017

Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English

Yep, these two. In the kick-off.

My prediction: Dillinger will probably win this one.

Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal (c)

in a Punjabi Prison Match for the WWE Championship

They're at it again. After Jinder Mahal attacked Randy Orton's father "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. at Money In The Bank, Orton has promised to make Jinder's life a living hell. Jinder responds by bringing Hell to Orton...in the form of a Punjabi Prison Match, which has not been seen in quite some time. This might turn out to be one nasty match...and one where Jinder Mahal might retain the WWE Championship if Orton isn't careful...

My prediction: Jinder will retain.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

The Usos might have run away last time, but this might be the war to settle the score

My prediction: The New Day are taking the titles.

John Cena vs. Rusev

in a Flag Match

In a fit of patriotic fervor, Rusev showed up and tried to ruin John Cena's July 4th return. Also in a fit of patriotic fervor, Cena challenged him to a Flag Match that night. Rusev accepted, but not for the 4th; instead, it's happening at Battleground...

My prediction: John Cena wins. Everybody riots.

Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Lana

in a Fatal 5-Way Match to determine a #1 contender for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

And the war in the blue brand's women division continues! This time, the women who didn't win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match get another chance at a shot at Naomi and the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship...as does Lana, who talked her way straight to the title match only to lose that and then lose in the rematch.

My prediction: Hoping Charlotte Flair wins this one...

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin seems to have something against Nakamura for acting like he's at where he isn't, and has beaten him up quite a few times to assert his dominance as Mr. Money In The Bank. Now they're in a match...and it's put up or shut up.

My prediction: Nakamura will probably win this one.

Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles(c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Well, isn't this something? Despite winning a battle royal to become the #1 contender for the United States title, AJ Styles had a match against Kevin Owens for the title at Madison Square Garden less than two weeks before Battleground and won it...and the win became official! Now the roles of champion and challenger have been reversed...but will lighting strike twice for Styles, or will Owens become the face of America again?

My prediction: Owens will probably take the title back.

My predictions for WWE Great Balls of Fire

Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

After the events of Extreme Rules, Samoa Joe has become #1 contender for the Universal Championship. As time drew closer to Great Balls of Fire, Joe tried to get into both Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman's heads with vicious attacks on both men. Joe has arrived...and he just might kill The Beast...

My prediction: Joe may actually take the title off Lesnar.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

in an Ambulance Match

He's back...and he's not finished with Roman. Showing up months faster than expected after getting injured during an all-out war of a feud between himself and Roman Reigns, Strowman has returned and he wants another piece of Roman. They've sent each other into ambulances before, and at Great Balls of Fire, they do it one more time.

My prediction: Roman Reigns will probably win this one.

Akira Tozawa vs. Neville (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Titus O'Neil is doing whatever it takes to get Tozawa into The Titus Brand...even getting him closer to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship after Neville's long feud with Austin Aries has cooled down. Not surprisingly, Neville is taking this as a threat. Will the Neville Level be higher than ever? Or will Neville fall to the Power of Tozawa?

My prediction: Neville will probably retain.

Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Sasha Banks has won a gauntlet match to earn the right to face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's title. After beating Bayley in an Extreme Rules Match, Alexa Bliss now has another obstacle in what could be a long championship reign...

My prediction: Alexa Bliss will probably retain.

Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt

Looks like Bray Wyatt has a problem with somebody again. This time, it's Seth Rollins, whom Wyatt says cannot slay a god and has conformed to the fans' expectations. Now Rollins has to beat Wyatt to prove that he is his own person...

My prediction: Seth Rollins will probably win this one.

Enzo Amore vs. Big Cass

Well, we can't say we didn't see this one coming. These two have finally split up, and now Enzo get his chance to exact some revenge...if Big Cass doesn't completely wallop him in the process...

My prediction: Big Cass will probably win this one.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro (c)

in a 30-minute Iron Man Tag Team Match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Here's something different...after a host of stipulations, General Manager Kurt Angle has come up with a whopper of a stipulation for the tag team titles: a 30-minute Iron Man match! Who the heck is going to last through this one?

My prediction: Sheamus and Cesaro will probably retain.

Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

After The Miz has constantly disrespected Dean Ambrose by saying that Dean chokes under pressure every time he's champ, it was only a matter of time before Kurt Angle made this match for Great Balls of Fire.

My prediction: Dean Ambrose will take the title.

Tuesday, June 13, 2017

My predictions for Money In The Bank 2017

Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal (c)

for the WWE Championship

Here it is: the rematch for the WWE Championship in Orton's hometown...and Jinder Mahal plans to embarrass in front of friends, family and his own hometown...

My prediction: Jinder Mahal will probably retain.

Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin
vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match for a contract for a WWE Championship match

This Money In The Bank Ladder Match is stacked! This match could belong to any one of these guys, and regardless of who wins, it will definitely change the game on SmackDown Live for perhaps months to come...

My prediction: Kevin Owens is going to take the briefcase.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

The New Day are back...but The Usos are already making it known to them that they are the ones who run the tag team division in the blue brand. Will The New Day bring in a new reign, or will SmackDown Live continue to be the Uso Penitentiary for a little while longer?

My prediction: The New Day are taking the titles.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Carmella

in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match for a contract for a WWE SmackDown Women's Championship match

For the first time ever, there's one for the ladies of SmackDown, where the competition and in-ring action for women's wrestling can't possibly get any hotter in WWE. There's no telling what to expect in this one.

My prediction: Carmella is going to take the briefcase.

Lana vs. Naomi (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

She's baaaaaack. Lana has returned to SmackDown, and this time around, she's left the world of managing other wrestlers to get a piece of the action in the squared circle herself. She wants to get the SmackDown Women's title in her debut match and climb her way to the top by any means necessary, but Naomi definitely will not make it easy for her...

My prediction: Naomi will probably retain.

Monday, May 29, 2017

My predictions for Extreme Rules 2017

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
vs. Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor
vs. Bray Wyatt

in a Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules Match to determine a #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship

We have former WWE, Universal and NXT Champions galore in this match that dictates who is next to face Brock Lesnar. Place your bets, people.

My prediction: Finn Balor will probably take this one.

The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship; which can change hands via disqualification

The Intercontinental title can change hands on DQ on pay-per-view this month simply because Dean Ambrose kicked The Miz in the groin. Yeah, that's pretty extreme, all right.

My prediction: Miz is taking the title. By disqualification.

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

After losing the Raw Women's title to Alexa Bliss, Bliss has been taking the mere existence of Bayley personally, mocking her and her family and smacking a kendo stick into her back. Now Bayley is fed up...and has realized it's time...to get extreme...

My prediction: Alexa will probably retain.

Sheamus and Cesaro
vs. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) (c)

in a Steel Cage Match  for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Seems rather unimpressive for a stipulation...until you realize that the Hardys faced Edge and Christian in a steel cage in 2000 and it got pretty hectic. At least we see the steel cage again...and get at least one Swanton Bomb from over 10 feet above the ring, too.

My prediction: The Hardys will probably retain.

Austin Aries vs. Neville (c)

in a Submission Match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Aries faces Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship...for the fourth time.

My prediction: Aries is taking the belt.

Sasha Banks and Rich Swann
vs. Alicia Fox and Noam Dar

in a mixed tag match

...and here we have the least extreme match taking place at Extreme Rules. At least Rich Swann has a partner here.

My prediction: Sasha Banks and Rich Swann are winning this one.

Tuesday, May 16, 2017

My predictions for Backlash 2017

Aiden English vs. "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger

Well, at least we get to see these guys go at it on the kick-off.

My prediction: Picking Dillinger for this one.

Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton

for the WWE Championship

Well, isn't this something. Jinder Mahal managed to win a battle royal to become the #1 contender for the WWE Championship...and he's taking advantage of his time by stealing the title belt and posing with it and enlisting the help of The Singh Brothers (formerly The Bollywood Boyz). Now these two will finally meet, and this match will not be a cakewalk for either man...

My prediction: Randy Orton will probably retain.

Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango)
vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Breezango have won a Tag Team Turmoil match to become #1 contenders after not doing a whole lot in the tag team division. Now these unlikely contenders for the blue brand tag titles have their toughest opponents as a team in The Usos. Can they somehow perform the unthinkable, or will The Usos keep the titles on lock?

My prediction: The Usos will probably retain.

AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Kevin Owens has dreams of making SmackDown "The Kevin Owens Show," but AJ Styles has plans of keeping it as the house that he built. Now that Styles is #1 contender for the United States Championship that Kevin Owens has brought over to Tuesday nights, can Styles keep building on that foundation and add another title to his extensive career, or will The Kevin Owens Show be renewed and become the face of both America and WWE?

My prediction: AJ Styles will be taking the title.

"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura
vs.
Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler, jaded and jealous as ever of the newer talent coming in, has beef with Nakamura getting instant fan approval without even wrestling a match on the main roster. Now these two will finally go at it at Backlash in what will be Nakamura's main roster debut match after making the poster for the event so red it almost looks like a Raw pay-per-view.

My prediction: Nakamura is winning this one, no question.

Charlotte Flair, Naomi and Becky Lynch
vs.
The Welcoming Committee (Natalya, Carmella, Tamina)

When Charlotte Flair got switched to SmackDown as part of the Superstar Shake-Up and acted like she owned the blue brand, a few of the Women's Division stars did not take too kindly to that. When this new "welcoming committee" tried to get more people to join their cause, that didn't sit well with Naomi, and it sure did not sit well with Becky Lynch. Now Charlotte and two other SmackDown Superstars in the Women's Division have to calm this mob down before they can get even angrier...

My prediction: Charlotte, Naomi and Becky Lynch will probably take this one.

Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin

Ever since Sami Zayn has come aboard the blue brand, Baron Corbin has just been furious with him just for being successful...and Sami Zayn knows it. Now Sami wants a match with him just to put this to rest...but is Sami biting off more than he can chew?

My prediction: Corbin just might take this one.

Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper

On the final Talking Smack before Backlash, Erick Rowan made a surprise, announced appearance where he showed off multiple sheep masks and showed his disappointment with Luke Harper leaving The Wyatt Family, saying that when someone leaves the Family, they leave him. Now that match is made official thanks to SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon. This is going to be an all-out war...

My prediction: Luke Harper might take this one.

Monday, April 24, 2017

My predictions for WWE Payback 2017

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)

These two teams have been going at it for a while now. The Raw before Payback, however, saw Gallows & Anderson attack Enzo and Cass from the crowd and laid Enzo out. Now these two will go at it, probably for the last time...for a while, at least.

My prediction: Enzo and Cass will probably win this one.

Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE United States Championship; if Jericho wins, he will be transferred to SmackDown Live

Jericho is getting his rematch against his former bestie Owens for the United States title...and it could be the last time we see these two go up against each other as well the last time we see Jericho in the ring for a while...

My prediction: Owens will retain.

Sheamus and Cesaro vs. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

After returning for the first time in about seven years, The Hardys are tag team champs and they are defending the Raw tag titles for the first time. Now Sheamus and Cesaro have a shot at the titles that they could have won at WrestleMania...

My prediction: The Hardys will probably retain.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

in a House of Horrors Match

The feud between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt that has been going on since the beginning of the year finally comes to a head in a House of Horrors Match. What a House of Horrors Match actually is, we don't know, but this definitely won't be a typical wrestling match. This will be a war. If only it was for the WWE Championship...

My prediction: Randy Orton will probably win this one and close the book on this rivarly...for now...

Austin Aries vs. Neville (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Here it is again. Austin Aries has another shot at Neville and the Cruiserweight title thanks to a Fatal 4-Way win that deemed him the #1 contender. Will Neville conquer a second time, or will Austin rise about Neville's level to the A-Double Level?

My prediction: Aries is taking the title. For real this time.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Well, we knew this was going to happen, especially after Strowman tipped the ambulance Roman was in to its side with his bare hands. Who is going to win between these two powerhouses?

My prediction: If I had to pick a definite winner...Roman. But I see this ending in a no-contest, too. But in case of a definite winner...I'll go with Roman.

Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe

Just when Seth Rollins has put Triple H behind him with a win in a non-sanctioned match at WrestleMania, here comes Samoa Joe wanting revenge for his "benefactor." Joe is finally getting some real action on the main roster at Payback, while Rollins is trying to rise back to the top...

My prediction: Something tells me Joe might win this one.

Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Well, it was bound to happen eventually now that Alexa Bliss is on the red brand thanks to the Superstar Shake-Up. After two title reigns on the blue brand, Alexa is going for her first title reign on Raw. Her main obstacle to doing just that? Bayley...and she's not going to give up the title easily...

My prediction: Bayley will probably retain.

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

My predictions for WrestleMania 33

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt (c)

for the WWE Championship

Well, it had to happen, didn't it? Orton only joined the Wyatt Family just to strike Bray Wyatt where it would hurt him the most - no wonder he set the body of Sister Abigail and the Wyatt Family compound itself to the ground! Now he plans to take everything from him...including the WWE Championship...

My prediction: Randy Orton is taking the title.

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Well, this had to happen, too, didn't it? Goldberg predictably took the Universal title at Fastlane, and now he gets to face Brock Lesnar with the winner of this match taking the title as well.

My prediction: For some reason, I have the feeling that Lesnar will be taking the Universal title, and that some outside force is going to make sure that happens. Probably Owens. So Lesnar it is.

The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns

Well, we all knew this was coming. Roman Reigns, wanting Braun Strowman, gets the surprise of a lifetime and gets The Undertaker instead.

My prediction: 'Taker is winning this...somehow.

Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

After Jericho cost Owens the WWE Universal Championship at FastLane, Owens wants revenge on the man he used to keep the title in the first place. Not surprisingly, he wants to take the United States title away from him as fitting payback for losing the Universal title to Goldberg. Now Owens and Jericho are squaring off in a well-awaited WrestleMania match...

My prediction: Something tells me this is Jericho's swan song (for now, anyway). Owens is taking the title.

John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse

It's been six years, but Cena and The Miz are facing each other at WrestleMania again. Only this time, their significant others are involved and Maryse is having her first match in the company in over six years. This one's going to be interesting.

My prediction: Cena and Nikki will probably get this one in order to send the folks away with a Hollywood ending...that doesn't involve The Miz.

Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Bayley (c)

in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

It's come down to this. Charlotte has been fighting a two front war against both Sasha and Bayley, who are sick and tired of her domination on the Raw Women's roster and want the Raw Women's title. But wait? What's this? Nia Jax is somehow in the match after Bayley lost a match to her on Raw, which Stephanie McMahon made since she doesn't seem to like her? Well, that makes it a little more interesting, at the very least.

My prediction: Bayley is going to retain...somehow...

The SmackDown Women's Division vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Alexa Bliss just can't seem to go without angering people, now, can she? It's now gotten to the point where she's defending the SmackDown Women's title against every available woman in the SmackDown Women's division. Even more amazing is the fact that Naomi is back just in time for WrestleMania. How's Alexa going to get out of this one?

My prediction: Naomi is taking the title back in her own hometown.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass
vs. Sheamus and Cesaro
vs. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) (c)

in a Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Gallows & Anderson thought they could avoid a title defense...but they were wrong. Thanks to General Manager Mick Foley, the two teams they didn't want near the belts now have a shot at them at the same time...and they don't have to be pinned to lose them. And now that there are ladders involved, anything can happen!

My prediction: Enzo Amore and Big Cass are taking the titles.

The 2017 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Well, we've got this match again. A whole bunch of guys are in a ring and they all toss each other over the top rope until one man remains, all in the memory of the greatest wrestling giant that ever lived.

Participants named are: Mojo Rawley, Apollo Crews, Big Show, Curt Hawkins, Bruan Strowman, Goldust, R-Truth, Primo, Epico, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn. Tyler Breeze, Fandango

My prediction: Long shot, but Sami Zayn.

AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon

After basically being denied a WWE Championship match in just about every way possible - among other things - Styles has finally lost it and taken his anger out on the SmackDown commish. Unfortunately for AJ, a few lacerations to the head isn't enough to take the fight out of Shane McMahon, who now wants to give him a WrestleMania beatdown.

My prediction: AJ Styles is going to win this one...somehow...

Baron Corbin vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Baron Corbin, ever looking for people to beat up and make a name for himself off of, has Dean Ambrose in his sights now...and the Intercontinental Championship, too! Not even crushing Ambrose with a forklift is enough to put Ambrose out of commission, and now these two are going to square off at WrestleMania...

My prediction: Baron Corbin is taking the title.

Austin Aries vs. Neville (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Neville has destroyed everyone in the Cruiserweight division...and Austin Aries, now back in action from an orbital bone injury, is the only challenge Neville has left...and Aries thinks he's above Neville's level. He has only one shot to prove it at WrestleMania...

My prediction: Austin Aries is taking the title.

Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

in a non-sanctioned match

Seth Rollins doesn't care if he's injured. He doesn't want to miss WrestleMania again. But since Triple H dumped him for Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins feels very, very betrayed and wants to get his hands on Triple by any means necessary, even if it means signing a hold harmless agreement that keeps him from holding anybody resposible if he gets hurt even more. That's good news for Rollins, but that's even better news for Triple H, who promises to absolutely destroy him at WrestleMania...

My prediction: Triple H is going to decimate Rollins. I don't see this ending at WrestleMania.

My predictions for FastLane 2017

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar

Oh, hey, a cruiserweight match for the kick-off. Joy.

My prediction: Swann and Tozawa will probably win this one.

Goldberg vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

For the first time in 13 1/2 years, Goldberg has a chance at a WWE championship. However, he has to face Kevin Owens, one of the most dangerous people to step foot in a WWE ring in the last few years in order to win it. Now that Owens have a renewed aggression and focus due to the dissolution of Jeri-KO, will he retain in his biggest championship match? Or will Goldberg absolutely destroy him? And what about Chris Jericho? Will he cost Owens the title in exchange for the betrayal of their friendship?

My prediction: Goldberg is taking this one, with or without Jericho's help. Though it wouldn't surprise me if Jericho jumped in and helped out a little...

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman asked for real competition...and now he's getting it. What started as revenge for being eliminated from the Royal Rumble match and costing Roman Reigns the WWE Universal Championship has exploded into a full-blown rivalry. Now Braun Strowman has a chance to get his first big victory in the WWE, but who will prevail? The monster himself? Or "The Big Dog?"

My prediction: Roman Reigns will probably take this one.

"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher vs. Neville (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

After winning a Fatal 5-Way match on 205 Live and garnering some fan support from both his demeanor and his skills in the ring, "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher has a chance at the Cruiserweight title. To win it, however, means taking his skills to the next level and honing them against the most aggressive man the Cruiserweight Division has yet seen in Neville. Can Gallagher dethrone the self-proclaimed King of the Cruiserweights? Or will Neville fortify his fortress and keep the title by whatever means he can?

My prediction: Neville will probably retain.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Enzo and Cass finally get a shot at some tag team gold...but can they go through Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to get it? And what about Sheamus and Cesaro? Will they keep Enzo and Cass from a championship victory?

My prediction: Gallows & Anderson will probably retain.

Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Bayley got a shot at the Raw Women's title...and she finally got it. But will Charlotte take it back and remain undefeated on pay-per-view yet again?

My prediction: Predicting Charlotte to take the title back again.

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

This match was made by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon after she caught her telling Bayley she had her back at Fastlane. So, yeah. We have this match again.

My prediction: Sasha will probably win it this time.

Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe

Now that Joe is in the main roster, he plans to plow through everyone in his path. But Sami Zayn isn't taking this lying down, and after taking a modicum of revenge against Joe the Raw before Fastlane, this match is now official...

My prediction: Joe will probably destroy Sami Zayn again.

My predictions for Elimination Chamber 2017

AJ Styles vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin vs. The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena (c)

in an Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship

Well, that was fast. This announcement happened so fast on the SmackDown Live after Royal Rumble that if you weren't paying attention, you probably missed it.

My prediction: AJ Styles will most likely take the title back.

Nikki Bella vs. Natalya

The grudge match from Survivor Series comes to a head as Nikki and Natalya finally have their match to supposedly end it all.

My prediction: Nikki Bella is probably gonna win this one.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor)
vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
vs. Breezango (Fandango and Tyler Breeze)
vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno
vs. American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) (c)

in an Tag Team Turmoil Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

When American Alpha issued an open challenge for the blue brand's tag titles, everyone in the brand's tag team division answered...so now everyone's getting a shot.

My prediction: American Alpha will probably retain.

Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Ever since Alexa Bliss took Naomi lightly before Royal Rumble, Naomi has been none too pleased. Now she's getting a shot at Alexa as well as the SmackDown Women's title...

My prediction: Alexa Bliss will probably retain.

Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James

After the whole La Luchadora debacle, this was obviously bound to happen.

My prediction: Mickie James is going to win this one...somehow.

Luke Harper vs. Randy Orton

After several weeks, the tiff between Luke Harper and Randy Orton has finally exploded! Harper now proclaims that Orton has stolen his family from him and that Orton is also a liar! Will Orton continue to dominate? Or will Luke Harper win a battle in what might a full-blown Wyatt Family war?

My prediction: Randy Orton will probably win this one.

Apollo Crews and Kalisto vs. Dolph Ziggler

After much animosity, Kalisto and Apollo Crews finally get the chance to give Ziggler his comeuppance after Ziggler has displayed an "I don't care" attitude as of late...

My prediction: Ziggler is going to win this one...somehow.

Tuesday, January 24, 2017

My predictions for Royal Rumble 2017

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
vs.
Sheamus and Cesaro (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships in a match where two referees are assigned

Finally, Gallows & Anderson have a shot at the titles...and to ensure that there is no tomfoolery and a definite winner, there will be one ref in the ring and one ref outside of it.

My prediction: Gallows & Anderson just might take the titles.

Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks has just about had it with Nia Jax injuring and re-injuring her...but now she's 100% again and she's ready to take on her biggest challenge yet - both figuratively and literally - in Nia. How is this one going to end?

My prediction: Sasha Banks will win this one...somehow.

2017 Royal Rumble Match

This one has quite a few big names in it: The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. One of them will definitely be in the running, but there are 27 other names out there that are waiting to get their chance at the major singles title of their respective brand...

My prediction: Goldberg will probably be taking this one.

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship; Chris Jericho will be suspended above the ring inside a shark cage

Well, it all comes down to this. Roman finally gets his shot against Owens, and Chris Jericho is stuck in a shark cage high above the ring so he can't interfere (one can hope). Will Owens retain, or will Roman be the big dog again?

My prediction: Roman Reigns is taking the title.

John Cena vs. AJ Styles (c)

for the WWE Championship

Once again, the rematch to determine who the face that runs the place really is...is here. And the WWE Championship is on the line...

My prediction: AJ Styles will retain.

Bayley vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Wait, Sasha Banks isn't going for the title again? Well, that's a bit of a relief. Wait, Bayley is going for the title now? Well, that's a bit of a relief.

My prediction: Charlotte will retain, but this won't be the last we see of Bayley and Charlotte in the ring for a title.

Neville vs. Rich Swann (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Neville's back...as a heel! Now he's going for the Cruiserweight title! Well, 2017 is coming up roses already, now, isn't it?

My prediction: Neville will probably take the title.

Nikki Bella, Naomi and Becky Lynch
vs.
Alexa Bliss, Mickie James and Natalya

As last-minute and as par for the course as the match is, you can still look at this and see that SmackDown Live does more with its Women's Division than Raw has ever done with its own. Now that I realize this, who's par for the course now?

My prediction: Nikki, Naomi and Becky are winning this one.

Monday, December 12, 2016

My predictions for Roadblock: End of the Line

Big Cass vs. Rusev

Big Cass is now out for revenge after what Rusev and Lana did to Rusev two weeks before Roadblock. Can he get it, or will Rusev continue to crush.

My prediction: Big Cass will probably win this one.

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Will Roman Reigns rise to the top again, or will the red brand continue to be "The Kevin Owens Show?"

My prediction: Kevin Owens will probably retain.

Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho

Meanwhile, as Owens defends the Universal title, Jericho has a match of his own against Rollins. Will Rollins get his revenge for what happened at Hell in a Cell?

My prediction: Rollins will probably win this one.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (c)

in a 30-minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Yep. It's this match. Again. And it's an Iron Man Match. Look, can we have someone else in this match? I like both women, but you can only have this match so many times and there are probably a few dream matches that both Charlotte and Sasha Banks fans want fulfilled. Wait...wait, there's no rematch after this match and that this will be the final match between them for the title? Okay, never mind.

My prediction: Charlotte's probably gonna take the title again, because WWE wants to make a big deal out of the pay-per-view winning streak.

T.J. Perkins vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. "The Outlandish" Rich Swann

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

This match was announced hours before the final Raw before Roadblock: End of the Line. Once again, the Cruiserweight title is on the line, and this time it's in a match between all three of the men to hold it since its inception earlier this year. Who's walking out of this one with the nascent purple belt?

My prediction: Kendrick is taking the title back.

Sami Zayn vs. Braun Strowman

Well, it was bound to happen again eventually. There's an interesting caveat to this match, however: instead of winning, Sami Zayn has to last just ten minutes against Braun Strowman. Can he do it?

My prediction: Sami Zayn will probably win via time limit, but it's gonna be a fight.

Sheamus and Cesaro
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

Tribute To The Troops saw a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match to dictate who would become #1 contenders for the Raw tag titles. Now that The New Day have broken The Demolition's record-breaking reign, there is more for them to lose now. Now that Sheamus and Cesaro have gotten another shot at the titles, can they pull it off?

My prediction: The New Day will probably retain.

Tuesday, November 29, 2016

My predictions for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016

Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles (c)

in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE World Championship

Now that Dean Ambrose is back in the front of the line, he now has a chance to take back the World title that was once his...and in a destructive, chaotic match at that. Can Ambrose take back the World Championship, or will "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles continue to be "the champ that runs the camp?"

My prediction: Styles is probably going to retain.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch (c)

in a Tables Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Alexa Bliss gets one more chance at the blue brand's Women's title after the controversial finish the first time around. Can she be Becky Lynch's nightmare come true this time, especially now that tables are involved?

My prediction: Alexa Bliss is taking the title.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton)
vs.
Heath Slater and Rhyno (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

After holding the SmackDown tag titles for a few months, Heath Slater and Rhyno have their first real challenge: The Wyatt Family, which is nothing like any of the other tag teams that they have faced on SmackDown. Can Slater and Rhyno somehow pull it off?

My prediction: The Wyatt Family will probably take the titles with the help of Luke Harper.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (c)

in a Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Well, it's happening again. And according to SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, once this is over, Ziggler and Miz are going their separate ways. We'll see...

My prediction: The Miz will retain with help. Again.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

in a No-Disqualification Match

Daniel Bryan said this happen. Now it has. Nikki Bella and Carmella settle the score (we hope!) in a no-DQ match which will end 2016 with a bang for SmackDown.

My prediction: Nikki Bella will probably win this one.

Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto

in a Chairs Match

Baron Corbin put Kalist out of action once more, and he almost did it again with a steel chair. But Kalisto turned the tables on him with one two, and it was pretty obvious that this match was going to happen.

My prediction: Baron Corbin might win this one.

Tuesday, November 15, 2016

My predictions for Survivor Series 2016

Team Raw (Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon)

in a Men's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match

Here it is: this year's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match. At least it's not an afterthought like last year.

My prediction: Team Raw will take this one.

Team Raw (Charlotte, Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Naomi)

in a Women's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match

The men aren't the only ones getting a Survivor Series match. Turns out the women get one, too.

My prediction: Team SmackDown Live will walk out the victors here.

Team Raw (Big E, Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods, Sheamus, Cesaro, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Primo and Epico)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tyler Breeze, Fandango)

in a Tag Team Division Traditional 10-on-10 Survivor Series Match

I wonder if the ring can hold this much weight. I also wonder if the match can go without everyone swallowing the entire ring apron and going at each other's throats, turning ringside into a war zone.

My prediction: Team Raw will probably win this one.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar

For the first time since WrestleMania 20, Bill Goldberg is in a WWE ring again...and he squares off against Brock Lesnar as he gets in the ring to entertain the crowd one more time...

My prediction: Goldberg isn't coming back to lose. Goldberg all the way.

Sami Zayn vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dolph Ziggler has laid down the gauntlet for Raw: take the Intercontinental Championship away from me and bring it to the red brand. Unfortunately for him, The Miz took the title away from him with help from Maryse on the last SmackDown Live before Survivor Series and now Ziggler isn't even defending the title as a result, Nevertheless, Sami Zayn might be the guy to do it...

My prediction: The Miz will probably retain.

Kalisto vs. The Brian Kendrick (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship; if Kalisto wins, the entire Cruiserweight Division is moved to SmackDown Live

Well, here's an interesting one. The inter-brand challenge has extended to the Cruiserweight title, and Kalisto, back from injury, is challenging for the title on behalf of SmackDown. And if Kalisto wins, the entire Cruiserweight Division moves to the blue brand along with the championship! How will this pan out?

My prediction: The Brian Kendrick will retain.

Monday, October 24, 2016

My predictions for Hell In A Cell 2016

Rusev vs. Roman Reigns (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE United States Championship

Here it is again: these two are going at it for the United States title.

My prediction: Roman will retain.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship

Things didn't go so well last time for Seth Rollins, and now he has a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship...and this it's one-on-one with the champ himself. With Owens riding high in the WWE as he has always dreamed, will it all come crashing down on him this time around?

My prediction: Rollins will probably take the title.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Because Charlotte doing a top rope corkscrew moonsault to the outside was a dress rehearsal, that's why. Also, two women. In Hell in a Cell. Not a cage match. Hell in a Cell. What a difference two years makes.

My prediction: Sasha will retain.

Brian Kendrick vs. T.J. Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

T.J. Perkins may be the man with infinite lives, but Brian Kendrick has no lives and no continues the way that he sees his situation. He has one last shot to make a big impact in WWE, and he must beat Perkins for the Cruiserweight title to do it...

My prediction: Kendrick will probably take the title.

Sheamus and Cesaro
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

It's the two guys who can't get along vs. The Get-Along Gang that is The New Day. This is going to be something...

My prediction: Calling it now, Sheamus and Cesaro will win the tag team titles on accident and become the next Team Hell No.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass
vs.
Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

Two of the most popular tag teams on Raw are now ready to do battle. It's the gift of gab vs. the killers of magic. Who's gonna win this one.

My prediction: Enzo and Cass will probably win this one.

Tuesday, October 4, 2016

My predictions for No Mercy 2016

John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles (c)

for the WWE World Championship

Two men have a rematch for the World title at the same time...and they've got it. Now AJ Styles has two obstacles in the way of keeping the World title for more than a month.

My prediction: AJ Styles will probably retain.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

After working her entire life to become champion, Becky Lynch's dream has come true...but it's about to become a nightmare thanks to Alexa Bliss, who has become #1 contender and is taking the time between Backlash and No Mercy to make Becky's life miserable. Can Becky retain, or will Alexa Bliss prove to Becky that she's right about her being undeserving of the title?

My prediction: Becky Lynch will probably retain.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Heath Slater now has a championship...and a contract...after the events of Backlash But The Usos are still sore after losing out on the tag titles, and now they have another shot at them. Can Slater and Rhyno overcome their first real test as a team?

My prediction: Heath Slater and Rhyno will probably retain.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (c)

in a Title vs. Career Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. If Dolph Ziggler, he must leave WWE.

After a failed attempt at unseating Miz as Intercontinental champ, Ziggler wants one more shot, saying that he now wrestles only because he can't stop doing it. This time around, Ziggler lays his career on the line in one last-ditch attempt to make a name for himself, and if he loses this time, he's gone. How is this gonna play out?

My prediction: Ziggler is taking the title.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

After Randy Orton's injury, this match ended up being postponed last month. But now Randy Orton is back from a concussion, and now he's ready to take on Bray Wyatt for real. After the mind games from both men, who's going to win this one?

My prediction: Orton is winning this one.

Carmella vs. Nikki Bella

It's finally happening! These two have been waiting for a while to get their hands on each other, and now they're throwing down!

My prediction: Carmella is winning this one.

Curt Hawkins' debut match

Curt Hawkins is debuting at No Mercy after all those Curt Hawkins *cough*Chuck Norris*cough* facts. We don't know who he's facing, but at least he's finally in the ring.

My prediction: Um...Curt Hawkins?

Monday, September 19, 2016

My predictions for Clash of Champions 2016

Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax

After Nia Jax put a friend of Alicia Fox's into the hospital and put Alicia herself through a barricade, we got to see what Nia Jax can really do...and she just might crank it up on pay-per-view

My prediction: Nia Jax is going to become the female Brock Lesnar, except without all that blood and concussions stuff. Hopefully.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Seth Rollins feels cheated out of the WWE Universal Championship, thanks to Triple H, the man who made him famous. Kevin Owens chalks Rollins' grievance up to jealousy, and wants to keep the Universal Championship by any means necessary, and it's all going to boil over at Clash of Champions...

My prediction: Kevin Owens will retain.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

After holding the tag team titles for over a year, The New Day may have finally met their match. They narrowly escaped Gallows and Anderson after Big E - the man Gallows and Anderson took out of the equation before SummerSlam - is back and ready to help defend the tag team titles. But will the presence of Big E back in the fold help The New Day retain the tag titles of the red brand, or will these copper-plated championships find a new home?

My prediction: Gallows and Anderson will take the titles this time. Seriously.

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Sasha Banks may have put her back out at SummerSlam, but you can't keep a good wrestler down as Sasha is already back in action and making it bad news for Charlotte. Now she's out to take the Raw Women's title back from the woman who calls herself the queen of Raw's Women's Division...but wait? What's this? Sasha Banks and Bayley had their shoulders down during the finish? And now Foley's made this a triple threat match? Well, now...

My prediction: Sasha Banks is taking the title back.

Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho

One is friends with Kevin Owens. The other used to be friends with Owens until it came to a nasty end. Now these two are going at it...

My prediction: Sami Zayn will win this one somehow.

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

C'mon. You knew this going to happen after Rusev came back.

My prediction: Roman. He can. He will. And because Rusev has held the title for too long and his reign has been unmemorable beyond making fun of Titus O'Neil's kids and declaring that the 4th of July be Rusev Day.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus

in Match #7 of the Best of Seven Series

It's all tied up after a late rally for Cesaro. This one is for all the marbles and the winner gets a championship opportunity. Get ready.

My prediction: Cesaro's winning this one.

The Brian Kendrick vs. TJ Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

TJ Perkins may have won The Cruiserweight Classic, but The Brian Kendrick has won the first Cruiserweight Division match on Raw to earn a shot at it and Perkins now has first real test as champion. There's nowhere to go but up for this division.

My prediction: Perkins will retain.
