Tribute To The Troops 2016 - The Results

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon welcome everyone to the show. Tonight, they will put aside their brand-related differences to put on a show for the American armed forces who protect and serve the country and give their support and gratitude for doing so. We then see a brief summary of how Tribute To The Troops started as well as its history.

Lillian Garcia sings the United States national anthem.

Roman Reigns shows up, saying that he is proud to be the WWE United States Championship. He says that the fans and the armed forces are the real champions of the United States, and thanks them on behalf of himself, the Superstars, the numerous crews that make the show possible and the WWE. Kevin Owens shows up and admits that Reigns made a classy move in thanking everyone, but tells him he forgot to thank him. He feels everyone should be thanking him tonight for carrying Raw on his back every week and being the longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion in history. Roman tells Owens that it's not about him and that it's about the people who make America great, but Owens doesn't care as he is from Canada before saying it's always about him as he is Universal Champion. Reigns says he won't be Universal Champion for long, and Owens counters by telling him that he has no chance and that he should be lucky the United States title isn't on the line, as he would win it, slap a maple leaf on it, and call it the Canadian Championship, which would - in his words - "sound a hundred times better." Roman asks why they should wait, and decides that they might as well go at it right now in front of America's finest. Suddenly, Rusev and Lana show up, and Rusev says that being from America is worse than being from Canada before talking about his home country of Bulgaria, which he claims has much better traditions, culture and people than America, and about his wife Lana. Roman asks if an American soldier can show up and teach Rusev how to kiss like a real man. Lana mocks the United States, and says Roman is jealous that Rusev is the only man for her. Roman says that sucks for Rusev, but Rusev says he's the greatest man on the planet before threatening to crush Roman like he did Enzo Amore. Roman says he's not going anywhere, and if he wants to do anything about it, he and Kevin Owens can both get in the ring. Owens and Rusev approach the ring and are about to ring when Big Cass runs in, causing Owens and Rusev to step back only to run into Raw General Manager Mick Foley, who arrives and makes this tag team match official.

Sheamus and Cesaro beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) to become #1 contenders to the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships at Roadblock: End Of The Line.

We see the WWE Superstars spend some time with the American armed forces.

The Miz and Maryse are in the ring. The Miz tells the American armed forces that he can't tell them how happy he is to be an inspiration to them in the third and fourth The Marine films, and plugs the fifth one. He then issues an open challenge, which is very immediately answered by...comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, whom Miz says is out of his element. Fluffy tells Miz he's not the one in the ring in glittery underwear, and that the only thing Miz is inspiring is for someone to give him an awesome beating. He then says he has the man to do it: Apollo Crews.

Apollo Crews beats The Miz. During the match, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias distracts The Miz by getting a selfie with Maryse and two with The Miz, allowing Crews to get the win. After the match, The Miz says this was not a championship match, and that he is still WWE Intercontinental Champion. We seen see the three mid-match selfies as well as the one that Fluffy took with Crews after the win.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Randy Orton) beat Dolph Ziggler and American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable).

Bayley spends some time with a service dog named Charlotte when Charlotte and Dana Brooke show up and make fun of the dog. Bayley says that she and Charlotte don't have much in common except for hanging out with dogs, with the "dogs" aimed towards Dana. Dana tells Bayley to get ready for their match, where she will find out her bite is worse than her bark.

Sgt. Whitney Sargent of the United States Air Force and 1st Sgt. Jimmy Richard of the United States Marine Corps, as well as their sons, are the recipients of tonight's Outback Steakhouse Seat Upgrade. Also, Charlie the service dog is at ringside with his handler.

Bayley beats Dana Brooke, then celebrates with Charlie the service dog after the match.

TJ Perkins, "The Outlandish" Rich Swann and "The Extraordinary Gentleman" Jack Gallagher beat Brian Kendrick, Drew Gulak and Tony Nese.

We see footage of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at a wreathe-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) are backstage. They know that Sheamus and Cesaro are on the same page and getting along now, and Kofi says that he feels different since they became the longest-reigning tag team champions of all time in WWE. Big E says he feels a power flowing through his veins - the power of history. He feels The New Day just might become the most elite team of all time. AJ Styles shows up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, saying that The Club exemplifies greatness while being mean and making green around the world, and that the conversation starts and ends with them. All of a sudden, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns shows up side-by-side in a one-time reunion of The Shield, laughing at The Club's claims before they walk off.

Enzo Amore makes his first appearance since being attacked Rusev two weeks ago, accompanying Big Cass to the ring with tape around his ribs. Big Cass says he and Roman Reigns will beat Kevin Owens and Rusev red, white, black and blue for the American armed forces.

Despite Lana sending Enzo Amore into the steel steps to distract Big Cass and nearly cost him and Roman Reigns the match, Roman Reigns and Big Cass beat Kevin Owens and Rusev.

After the show goes off the air, Roman Reigns thanks the fans and the American armed forces for the support, and expresses his gratitude for being able to do what he does and also meet some real-life heroes.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016 - The LIVE Recap

American radio DJ Peter Rosenberg replaces Jerry "The King" Lawler on the kick-off panel.

Alexa Bliss is in the social media lounge. She says that Trish Stratus is her inspiration as a wrestler, but she has also implemented bits and pieces of other people into her style. She has no doubts after her loss to Becky Lynch at Glasgow, and she plans to prove tonight that she deserves to be champion more than Becky. When asked what she can do as champion that Becky can't, Alexa Bliss says that she is what a future champion is supposed to look like.

American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable), The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) and Apollo Crews beat The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch), The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) and Curt Hawkins during the kick-off.

The Wyatt Family (Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt) beat Heath Slater and Rhyno to become the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions after Luke Harper pushes Randy Orton out of the way of a Gore from Rhyno, allowing Randy Orton to hit an RKO on Rhyno shortly afterwards.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Dean Ambrose. He says that James Ellsworth is safe at home and recuperating tonight, then sings AJ Styles' praises before saying that Styles is an "easy way out kinda guy" and that he will make the easy way out anything but. He says the only way to win is through horrible pain and suffering, and that it will be "hard times."

Renee Young interviews AJ Styles, who has been in a match like the one he will have with Dean Ambrose before. He says that Ambrose will keep getting back up in time to see him hold the WWE World title.

Nikki Bella beast Carmella in a no-disqualification match. After the match, Carmella tells Nikki that she hopes she is proud of herself, and says she didn't attack Nikki at Survivor Series. Instead, it was Natalya.

Natalya helps WWE fan Anthony pick an engagement ring for his girlfriend Eva at a local Kay Jewelers.

Dasha Fuentes interviews SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan admits he would rather Ziggler be the Intercontinental Champion, as Ziggler made it to that level under his own power, but admits The Miz brings a star quality to the title. The Miz shows up, convinced that Daniel Bryan does not like him. Daniel Bryan tells The Miz that he has never liked him. The Miz tells him he will retain the Intercontinental Championship, and tells Daniel Bryan to enjoy.

The Miz retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler with a low blow. After the match, Miz dedicates the win to SmackDown Live General Manager, saying D-Bry's hatred for him was a motivation factor and that Ziggler - and the rest of the crowd - is only deserving of a participation award.

Baron Corbin beats Kalisto in a Chairs Match.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Natalya, who denies that she attacked Nikki Bella at Survivor Series, and wishes Becky Lynch the best of luck tonight in her title defense against Alexa Bliss. As for Carmella, she says she's a liar.

Alexa Bliss powerbombs Becky Lynch from the apron to a table outside of the ring to beat Becky Lynch in a Tables Match and win the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship! Dasha Fuentes interviews Becky, who is upset with herself for setting herself up for the loss and declines an interview.

Anthony proposes to Eva in the ring before TLC. Eva says yes.

John Cena hosts Saturday Night Live next Saturday on NBC at 11:30 PM Eastern, 10:30 PM Central.

AJ Styles retains the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose when James Ellsworth shows up to distract Styles and help Ambrose, only for Ellsworth to push the ladder down as Ambrose climbs to the title, sending Ambrose into two tables outside of the ring. Ellsworth then cheers on Styles and wills him to the title, allowing Styles to retain.

On Talking Smack, Alexa Bliss calls her championship win one of overwhelming feelings, especially when her parents were there to see it live where it happened. She says that Becky Lynch didn't try hard enough to keep the title, and that she should be trying harder to take the title from here, which she says will never happen.

On Talking Smack, Baron Corbin says he enjoyed every moment of giving Kalisto a beating tonight, and thanks Daniel Bryan for it. Daniel Bryan admits that Baron Corbin deserves an opportunity in the main event spot, and Corbin says he will do everything he has to do to become World Champion.

On Talking Smack, James Ellsworth reveals he turned on Dean Ambrose to get his shot at the World title against AJ Styles and not Dean Ambrose. He believes that he has AJ Styles' number, and when he wins the World title, he will give Dean Ambrose the first shot. Daniel Bryan tells Ellsworth that Styles will hurt him, and then Ambrose will hurt him worse after Daniel Bryan and Renee Young tell him that he may have made a bigger enemy in Ambrose. Ambrose says he isn't focused on what he did tonight, and is focused on his World title match this Tuesday. He then takes off his neck brace and leaves. The Miz then shows up and bashes Daniel Bryan for all the things happening on SmackDown Live, but Daniel Bryan says that without him, Miz wouldn't be at the place he is now, and that his treating him like a lazy hack forced him to step his game up. Maryse tells Daniel Bryan to apologize for his comments. Miz and Daniel Bryan argue as Talking Smack ends.

Final Battle 2016 - The Results

Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara beat The Tempura Boys (Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu) in a YouTube-exclusive pre-show match.

The Rebellion (Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Caprice Coleman) beat Donovan Dijak and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats Jushin "Thunder" Liger with help from The Beer City Bruiser.

The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) show up before the next match. They don't have a match tonight, and are okay with having the night off. Daniels reminds Cody Rhodes what he is up against, but is not upset with Cody getting Lethal in his ROH debut as "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes showed him everything that a professional wrestler should be. If Dusty can inspire him, he can only imagine what Dusty did for his own flesh and blood, and says that Ring of Honor need men like Cody Rhodes with an intense dedication and respect for professional wrestling. The Addiction then guest on commentary for the match.

Cody Rhodes beats Jay Lethal after Cody pushes Lethal into referee Todd Sinclair, stunning the referee before kicking Lethal with a blatant low blow. After the match, Cody Rhodes mocks the Code of Honor before flipping Lethal off. The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) leave the commentary table and confront Cody as he topples a table and splashes a fan's drink at the referee. Cody Rhodes goes to commentary and pushes Steve Corino beofre leaving.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marsaglia) beat Jay White, Lio Rush and KUSHIDA to become the inaugural ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions! This happens after Vinny Marsaglia hits the referee with a Swanton bomb to stop a pinfall and Lio Rush is smacked in the head with Matt Taven's cane before the finish.

Marty Scurll retains the ROH World Television Championship against Will Ospreay and Dragon Lee.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe). After the match, "Broken" Matt Hardy appears on the video screen, proclaiming that he and Brother Nero must come to ROH to render The Young Bucks and The Briscoes obsolete.

Kyle O'Reilly beats Adam Cole in a no-disqualification match with the Cross Arm Breaker to become the ROH World Champion!

My predictions for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016

Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles (c)

in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE World Championship

Now that Dean Ambrose is back in the front of the line, he now has a chance to take back the World title that was once his...and in a destructive, chaotic match at that. Can Ambrose take back the World Championship, or will "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles continue to be "the champ that runs the camp?"

My prediction: Styles is probably going to retain.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch (c)

in a Tables Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Alexa Bliss gets one more chance at the blue brand's Women's title after the controversial finish the first time around. Can she be Becky Lynch's nightmare come true this time, especially now that tables are involved?

My prediction: Alexa Bliss is taking the title.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton)
vs.
Heath Slater and Rhyno (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

After holding the SmackDown tag titles for a few months, Heath Slater and Rhyno have their first real challenge: The Wyatt Family, which is nothing like any of the other tag teams that they have faced on SmackDown. Can Slater and Rhyno somehow pull it off?

My prediction: The Wyatt Family will probably take the titles with the help of Luke Harper.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (c)

in a Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Well, it's happening again. And according to SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, once this is over, Ziggler and Miz are going their separate ways. We'll see...

My prediction: The Miz will retain with help. Again.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

in a No-Disqualification Match

Daniel Bryan said this happen. Now it has. Nikki Bella and Carmella settle the score (we hope!) in a no-DQ match which will end 2016 with a bang for SmackDown.

My prediction: Nikki Bella will probably win this one.

Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto

in a Chairs Match

Baron Corbin put Kalist out of action once more, and he almost did it again with a steel chair. But Kalisto turned the tables on him with one two, and it was pretty obvious that this match was going to happen.

My prediction: Baron Corbin might win this one.

Survivor Series 2016 - The LIVE Results

During the pre-show, Sami Zayn thanks Mick Foley for giving him the opportunity to fight for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, even though he doesn't konw why Foley believes in him like he does. Foley says his son is the force behind him drafting Sami Zayn, while Sami says that Foley is the reason he became a professional wrestler.

The Brian Kendrick says he is our Cruiserweight Champion, and that Kalisto is just like us like it is a bad thing.

Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch talk about Team Raw backstage when Charlotte and Dana Brooke show up. Nikki calls Charlotte out on tearing people down to push herself up, and Charlotte tells Nikki that she put her in a neck brace and that she can do it again. Charlotte tells Nikki to watch over her shoulder after Nikki tells her that Team SmackDown Live will burn her kingdom to the ground.

Tom Phillips interviews Kevin Owens, who gives Tom Phillips a hard time with the help of Chris Jericho, who he calls into the room. If Chris Jericho presented him with a scarf, Kevin Owen swould wear it. Chris Jericho says James Ellsworth is a guy in a worm costume who would get punched in the face if he gets in their business. They both believe that they will be the sole survivors tonight, and when one person on Twitter asks if Jericho has Owens' name secretly written down on The List, their Twitter handle ends up on The List.

TJ Perkins, Rich Swann and Noam Dar beat Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, and Drew Gulak during the kick-off.

Charly Caruso interviews Kalisto, who wants to become Cruiserweight Champion as he always looked up to the cruiserweight division as a kid, especially Rey Mysterio Jr. Brian Kendrick butts in and mocks him for thinking he could be the face of the cruiserweight division. He calls Sin Cara "a better version of Kalisto" and says that Sin Cara told him this before he made him tap out.

Kane beats Luke Harper during the kick-off.

Before the Women's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match, it is revealed that Nikki Bella has been attacked from behind and cannot compete. Natalya takes her place on Team SmackDown Live.

Team Raw (Charlotte, Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox) beats Team SmackDown Live (Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Naomi) in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match, with Charlotte and Bayley as the survivors. Charlotte then viciously assaults Bayley after the match.

James Ellsworth is backstage when he runs into Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They make a bunch of chin jokes while saying he shouldn't be here. Mick Foley shows up and tells them to knock it off. Foley and Ellsworth hit it off, then Foley tries to woo him to Raw. Ellsworth isn't interested. After Foley leaves, he runs into - and runs away from - Braun Strowman, who simply asks "Don't I know you?"

The Miz retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn after Maryse rang the bell as Zayn has Miz in the figure four, and The Miz takes advantage by pinning Sami with a schoolboy pin while grabbing the tights.

Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles have a war of words, saiyng that they will tear each other apart at TLC. Shane McMahon has to break the argument up.

Team Raw (Big E, Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods, Sheamus, Cesaro, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Primo and Epico) beats Team SmackDown Live (Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tyler Breeze, Fandango) in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match with Sheamus and Cesaro as sole survivors, after Sheamus saves the win with a Brogue Kick.

Raw General Manager Mick Foley and Raw Commissioner Mick Foley talk backstage, and says the tag team match victory is all Foley. Sheamus and Cesaro get a tag team title shot against The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) tomorrow night on Raw. They then say that Raw is continuing to look good despite the initial setbacks.

The Brian Kendrick retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and beats Kalisto by disqualification after Baron Corbin rushes in and attacks both men - Kendrick first, then Kalisto.

SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan confronts Baron Corbin for his actions. Corbin says Kalisto is a little pest that won't go away, and that he doesn't a whole bunch more on SmackDown Live. D-Bry tells him to get out of the building, and that he'll see him on Tuesday.

Roadblock is live Sunday, December 18th!

Survivor Series is coming to the Toyota Center in Houston Texas on November 19th, 2017!

Team SmackDown Live (AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon) beats Team Raw (Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins), with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as survivors. During the match, Dean Ambrose is eliminated after he argues with AJ Styles Shane McMahon has to be eliminated and taken to the back after hitting the back of his head really hard on the mat, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are eliminated (by disqualification and pinfall, respectively) when The List is used as a weapon, Dean Ambrose returns from the back to help Roman and Reigns powerbomb AJ Styles through a table before they eliminate him, and Luke Harper helps Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. The match ends when Bray Wyatt pushes Randy Orton into a Roman Reigns Spear to hit Sister Abigail on Reigns.

Bill Goldberg destroys Brock Lesnar in record time with two Spears and a Jackhammer, with Lesnar unable to launch a single offensive maneuver during the extremely brief match which lasts under a minute.

My predictions for Survivor Series 2016

Team Raw (Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon)

in a Men's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match

Here it is: this year's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match. At least it's not an afterthought like last year.

My prediction: Team Raw will take this one.

Team Raw (Charlotte, Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Naomi)

in a Women's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match

The men aren't the only ones getting a Survivor Series match. Turns out the women get one, too.

My prediction: Team SmackDown Live will walk out the victors here.

Team Raw (Big E, Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods, Sheamus, Cesaro, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Primo and Epico)
vs.
Team SmackDown Live (Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tyler Breeze, Fandango)

in a Tag Team Division Traditional 10-on-10 Survivor Series Match

I wonder if the ring can hold this much weight. I also wonder if the match can go without everyone swallowing the entire ring apron and going at each other's throats, turning ringside into a war zone.

My prediction: Team Raw will probably win this one.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar

For the first time since WrestleMania 20, Bill Goldberg is in a WWE ring again...and he squares off against Brock Lesnar as he gets in the ring to entertain the crowd one more time...

My prediction: Goldberg isn't coming back to lose. Goldberg all the way.

Sami Zayn vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dolph Ziggler has laid down the gauntlet for Raw: take the Intercontinental Championship away from me and bring it to the red brand. Unfortunately for him, The Miz took the title away from him with help from Maryse on the last SmackDown Live before Survivor Series and now Ziggler isn't even defending the title as a result, Nevertheless, Sami Zayn might be the guy to do it...

My prediction: The Miz will probably retain.

Kalisto vs. The Brian Kendrick (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship; if Kalisto wins, the entire Cruiserweight Division is moved to SmackDown Live

Well, here's an interesting one. The inter-brand challenge has extended to the Cruiserweight title, and Kalisto, back from injury, is challenging for the title on behalf of SmackDown. And if Kalisto wins, the entire Cruiserweight Division moves to the blue brand along with the championship! How will this pan out?

My prediction: The Brian Kendrick will retain.

Hell In A Cell 2016 - The LIVE Results

During the kick-off, Brian Kendrick approaches TJ Perkins and asks for his decision, and tells him a win means everything to him. Perkins says he has a lot on the line, and says the Cruiserweight Division represents the past, the present and the future. Kendrick says he was just thinking about their friendship. Perkins tells him to leave the past behind as they will always bee friends. Kendrick wants the Cruiserweight title, but Perkins tells him to be the Brian Kendrick he used to know. Kendrick then tells Perkins to let him win.

Sin Cara, Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander beat Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) are in the Social Media Lounge. They say that working out makes them a strong tag team in the ring. Xavier Woods says his favorite video game is Mario Kart: Double Dash, and that he is looking for all sorts of new video game releases as far as UpUpDownDown is concerned. As for how they will beat Sheamus and Cesaro tonight, they're keeping that a secret.

Roman Reigns retains the WWE United States Championship against Rusev in a Hell In A Cell match, giving Reigns his second Hell In A Cell victory.

Tom Phillips interviews Kevin Owens. He says that Seth Rollins will not survive tonight, and that what he will do to him make Rusev vs. Roman Reigns look like a cakewalk, and that Seth won't call himself "The Man" because he'll barely look like one while he can still be called the WWE Universal Champion.

Bayley beats Dana Brooke.

Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley talk about Survivor Series. Chris Jericho shows up wanting to be part of Team Raw along with Kevin Owens, and Mick Foley almost gets put on The List for interrupting him...but then ends up on there when he tells him that he should be concentrating on Kevin Owens' match for tonight and whether or not Owens stays in one piece.

Raw Talk is on the WWE Network immediately after Hell In A Cell, with Roman Reigns and Bayley joining as special guests.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Kevin Owens retains the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins in a Hell In A Cell match after Chris Jericho gets in the cell and assists Owens when Owens accidentally sprays the referee with a fire extinguisher hidden under the ring. After the match, Jericho hits Rollins with a Codebreaker.

Brian Kendrick beats TJ Perkins to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship after Kendrick feigns a leg injury, headbutts Perkins when he tries to check on him and makes him submit to the Captain's Hook.

Cesaro and Sheamus almost get along in the locker room...almost.

Cesaro and Sheamus beat The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) after Kofi Kingston is caught hitting Sheamus outside of the ring with Trouble In Paradise. As a result of this, The New Day (Kofi, Big E, Xavier) retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. Cesaro, who thinks he has beaten Woods by submission with the Sharpshooter and won the titles for him and Sheamus, is shocked.

Goldberg returns to Raw tomorrow night.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Raw Women's Championship almost ends before it can begin with a vicious brawl between Charlotte and Sasha Banks before the bell can ring and Sasha's back gives out. When Charlotte is about to win the title by forfeit after Sasha is placed on a stretcher, Sasha gets off the stretcher and fights Charlotte.

Charlotte beats Sasha Banks in a Hell In A Cell match to win the WWE Raw Women's Championship after throwing Sasha into a table twice and hitting the Natural Selection.

On Raw Talk, Roman Reigns says he is beat up, but proud of the Raw roster and says that everyone represented the brand. He states that he has done exactly what he said he was going to do, and that as long as he holds the WWE United States Championship, it is the title on Raw, and if anyone wants it, they'll have to come and get it. Roman knows he ruffles everyone's feathers regardless of what people think of him, and says he has two shoulders. He has one strap and is looking for another, and says that he calls Rollins his "little brother" for reason as he makes it known that he is coming for the WWE Universal Championship. He says that if their paths cross, he'll get the revenge he's never gotten.

On Raw Talk, Brian Kendrick calls his Cruiserweight Championship victory the greatest day of his entire life, and insists he be called "The Brian Kendrick" again. He says he has worked hard to stay out of trouble, got the kids look up to him, and played TJ Perkins like a fiddle. When Booker T calls Kendrick out on how he won, this leads to an argument between Kendrick and Booker, with Kendrick saying he is the smartest one in the locker room. Kendrick says he has always been a troublemaker, and that he cleaned up his act to become the person that he is today. He wishes the world for TJ Perkins, but he knew Perkins was soft coming into the match and took advantage of it. He tells Booker T he could never be the same level as him on his worst day, and says he hasn't lost a step and that he is as crafty as ever as he had to work at being smarter. Booker tells Kendrick that he'll never become a Hall of Famer by begging somebody to lay down for him, and Kendrick is stunned that he thought he was being serious when he did that, insisting it was part of the plan to become Cruiserweight Champion...and it worked.

On Raw Talk, Bayley says she knew Dana Brooke would come after her shoulder and take the easy way out, but she came out on top tonight. On the subject of Charlotte saying she is the best woman in the locker room, Bayley says she believed that she herself is the best, and that if she didn't, she wouldn't be here right now. She's bummed out to be on "the outskirts of the conversation," and while she's not as strong or as athletically gifted as the other women, she is working towards it and knows that she will push to the very end. She doubted whether she would make it to the main roster, but she is here and she is proud of the Raw women's division and says the first Women's Hell In A Cell match won't be the last. But at the same time, she feels that could have been her that could have beaten Charlotte. She then tells Charlotte they've been through a whole lot, but she's ready for her and ready for the Raw Women's Championship.

Shortly after Bayley is finished, Jeri-KO show up. Bayley leaves, as does Lita. Renee Young gets put on The List for her pumpkin shirt. They brag about their Hell In A Cell victory tonight, put random people on The List, answer Jerry "The King" Lawler's phone and tell Roman Reigns to go after every other title than his while saying that the Universal Championship is the premiere title in the WWE.

Raw Talk ends with Sheamus and Cesaro arguing with each other.

My predictions for Hell In A Cell 2016

Rusev vs. Roman Reigns (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE United States Championship

Here it is again: these two are going at it for the United States title.

My prediction: Roman will retain.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship

Things didn't go so well last time for Seth Rollins, and now he has a rematch for the WWE Universal Championship...and this it's one-on-one with the champ himself. With Owens riding high in the WWE as he has always dreamed, will it all come crashing down on him this time around?

My prediction: Rollins will probably take the title.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (c)

in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Because Charlotte doing a top rope corkscrew moonsault to the outside was a dress rehearsal, that's why. Also, two women. In Hell in a Cell. Not a cage match. Hell in a Cell. What a difference two years makes.

My prediction: Sasha will retain.

Brian Kendrick vs. T.J. Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

T.J. Perkins may be the man with infinite lives, but Brian Kendrick has no lives and no continues the way that he sees his situation. He has one last shot to make a big impact in WWE, and he must beat Perkins for the Cruiserweight title to do it...

My prediction: Kendrick will probably take the title.

Sheamus and Cesaro
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

It's the two guys who can't get along vs. The Get-Along Gang that is The New Day. This is going to be something...

My prediction: Calling it now, Sheamus and Cesaro will win the tag team titles on accident and become the next Team Hell No.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass
vs.
Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

Two of the most popular tag teams on Raw are now ready to do battle. It's the gift of gab vs. the killers of magic. Who's gonna win this one.

My prediction: Enzo and Cass will probably win this one.

No Mercy 2016 - The LIVE Results

It is announced that the WWE World Championship Triple Threat between Dean Ambrose, John Cena and AJ Styles will start the main show during the kick-off.

Curt Hawkins finally arrives in WWE again...and then leaves, but not before announcing that on SmackDown, he will finally have his first match.

Alexa Bliss learns from Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan that Becky Lynch is injured and cannot compete tonight. Alexa will stay #1 contender to the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship and will get her shot at the title on November 8th. She does, however, have a match tonight.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) are in the Social Media Lounge. Their new attitude is inspired by the WWE Universe booing them. Regarding their attack on American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable), they insist that they are not jealous of them, as they have the tag team title match tonight, not American Alpha. They also don't care about The New Day's record tag team title accolade on Raw.

American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) and The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).

Both John Cena and Dean Ambrose force AJ Styles to submit to an STF and a reversed Calf Killer simultaneously. However, the match continues as both Cena and Ambrose continue to fight each other. AJ Styles retains the WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match after using a steel chair to his advantage.

Nikki Bella beats Carmella with what is now called Rack Attack 2.0.

The Miz speaks to Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, and says the show will get better when he retires Dolph Ziggler, which he tells Daniel Bryan that he will share some blame for due to pushing Ziggler to the point he is at. He also demands another contract re-negotiation once Ziggler is off the payroll.

Heath Slater and Rhyno retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

Bray Wyatt speaks random gibberish before singing "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands."

Baron Corbin beats Jack Swagger after grabbing the apron during the Patriot Lock to break the hold before hitting Swagger with a thumb to the eye prior to the End of Days.

Dolph Ziggler beats The Miz to become WWE Intercontinental Champion and stay in WWE in a Title vs. Career Match despite the interference of Maryse and Kenny and Mikey of The Spirit Squad.

Randy Orton is in the bathroom backstage when the mirror's reflection warps.

Alexa Bliss shows up, says Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon are protecting Becky Lynch and that Becky is afraid of losing the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship to her. Suddenly, we find out that Naomi is Alexa Bliss' opponent.

Naomi beats Alexa Bliss after reversing the Cross Arm Breaker into a roll-up.

Bray Wyatt beats Randy Orton after Orton is distracted by the sudden return of Luke Harper.

On Talking Smack, Alexa Bliss expresses her disappointment at losing to Naomi tonight, and says that Naomi's sudden roll-up from reversing her Cross Arm Breaker, saying it's not a "real win," that she would beat Naomi again and that she still deserves to be #1 contender for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Also, General Manager Daniel Bryan and Commissioner Shane McMahon confirm that they have just signed Luke Harper to SmackDown and that they did not expect him to make an impact this soon. It is also announced that Daniel Bryan is going to be a father. We then hear from Dolph Ziggler, who says that putting his career on the line was what gave him the spark to come out on top against The Miz, win the Intercontinental Championship and stay in the WWE, and admits that The Miz is a great all-around guy who is good at representing the company. Shane tells Ziggler that he and Miz brought down the house tonight.

My predictions for No Mercy 2016

John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles (c)

for the WWE World Championship

Two men have a rematch for the World title at the same time...and they've got it. Now AJ Styles has two obstacles in the way of keeping the World title for more than a month.

My prediction: AJ Styles will probably retain.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

After working her entire life to become champion, Becky Lynch's dream has come true...but it's about to become a nightmare thanks to Alexa Bliss, who has become #1 contender and is taking the time between Backlash and No Mercy to make Becky's life miserable. Can Becky retain, or will Alexa Bliss prove to Becky that she's right about her being undeserving of the title?

My prediction: Becky Lynch will probably retain.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno (c)

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Heath Slater now has a championship...and a contract...after the events of Backlash But The Usos are still sore after losing out on the tag titles, and now they have another shot at them. Can Slater and Rhyno overcome their first real test as a team?

My prediction: Heath Slater and Rhyno will probably retain.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (c)

in a Title vs. Career Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. If Dolph Ziggler, he must leave WWE.

After a failed attempt at unseating Miz as Intercontinental champ, Ziggler wants one more shot, saying that he now wrestles only because he can't stop doing it. This time around, Ziggler lays his career on the line in one last-ditch attempt to make a name for himself, and if he loses this time, he's gone. How is this gonna play out?

My prediction: Ziggler is taking the title.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

After Randy Orton's injury, this match ended up being postponed last month. But now Randy Orton is back from a concussion, and now he's ready to take on Bray Wyatt for real. After the mind games from both men, who's going to win this one?

My prediction: Orton is winning this one.

Carmella vs. Nikki Bella

It's finally happening! These two have been waiting for a while to get their hands on each other, and now they're throwing down!

My prediction: Carmella is winning this one.

Curt Hawkins' debut match

Curt Hawkins is debuting at No Mercy after all those Curt Hawkins *cough*Chuck Norris*cough* facts. We don't know who he's facing, but at least he's finally in the ring.

My prediction: Um...Curt Hawkins?

Bound For Glory 2016 - The LIVE Results

DJ Z retains the TNA X Division Championship against Trevor Lee.

Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Drew Galloway, who is now injured. He does not feel very good, as he was very close to requiring surgery. He wanted to fight, but was told by management that he was a liability. Drew says that he's a man who should be able to make his own decisions. He also wanted them to postpone the match until he came back, but they did not.

Eli Drake wins the Bound For Gold battle royal and earns a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Jeremy Borash interviews Robert Irvine, the husband of Gail Kim. He and his kids cannot wait to see Gail get inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. Maria Kanellis-Bennett and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett show up and tell Robert to get lost. Robert tells Mike Bennett that tonight will be a very bad night for him, and walks off. After Maria declares herself the greatest Knockouts champion of all time, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett tells Moose that he gave him one job and that he failed at it, and that he will not win tonight.

Moose's entrance tonight consists of a short chant from the West Orange High School football team from Winter Park, Florida.

Moose beats "The Miracle" Mike Bennett.

Jeremy Borash interviews Aron Rex. Rex says he has a game plan, and he plans to prove to himself that he is a champion, and he plans to make history. As for Eddie Edwards, who is replacing Drew Galloway tonight, they were both trained by the same person and they have two different styles. Nevertheless, he says "May the best man win."

It is announced before the Impact Grand Championship match that each round will be five minutes instead of the usual three.

Aron Rex beats Eddie Edwards by split decision to become the inaugural TNA Impact Grand Champion! Jeremy Borash interviews Aron Rex after the match, and Aron calls Eddie Edwards a warrior before saying he'll give him a rematch if he wants it. Aron Rex says history is made, but that this is only part one. He tells everyone to stay tuned.

Christy Hemme, Taryn Terrell, Awesome Kong and Dixie Carter induct Gail Kim into the TNA Hall of Fame and thank her for her work in the Knockouts Division. Gail Kim shows up, and after a video package of Gail Kim's career, Gail Kim thanks the fans as well as family and close friends, and says she wouldn't change a thing about her career.

Reby Hardy plays piano as "Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero make their entrance.

The Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) in "The Great War" to become TNA World Tag Team Champions!

Jeremy Borash interviews Lashley. He's not scared of or intimidated by Ethan Carter III, and plans to give him the beatdown that he believes EC3 has had coming to him tonight.

Before the next match, Maria Kanellis-Bennett tries to get out of her match with Gail Kim by saying that the doctor has told her that her hand is still broken. To the surprise of nobody, Allie tells Maria that she misheard her doctor and that her hand isn't broken after taking the microphone. Maria gets ticked off with Allie, and tells Gail Kim she's not fighting tonight. Gail Kim feels otherwise and wastes no time attacking Maria.

Gail Kim beats Maria Kanellis-Bennett to become the TNA Knockouts Champion for a sixth time. After the match, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett gets angry and says that TNA has been screwing him and that he is shutting the show down, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Suddenly, Cody Rhodes and wife Brandi show up, and Maria slaps Brandi. Cody and Brandi quickly clean house.

Lashley retains the TNA Heavyweight Championship against Ethan Carter III after pushing EC3 off the top rope to reverse a top rope One Percenter and hitting EC3 with a top rope Spear.

WWE Clash of Champions 2016 - The LIVE Results

During the pre-show, Sasha Banks says she has been waiting for over a month to get revenge on Charlotte. Tonight, it's about her, not Bayley, and she says she's going to be a two-time Women's champion. Dana Brooke shows up, and tells Sasha she should be feeling fear as Charlotte is going to injure her. Sasha Banks reminds her that Charlotte isn't really her best friend and that if she's not careful, she'll be the one injured.

Sami Zayn is in the Social Media Lounge. Sami considers winning the NXT Championship, being in his first WrestleMania and beating Kevin Owens at Battleground, but is still waiting for a true career highlight. He says that his wrestling entrance themes have always followed him, and that his current one is no different. Sami says the best gift Chris Jericho can give him is the Chris Jericho of old, but that's not happening, and all he can settle for it beating him up.

Nia Jax beats Alicia Fox.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) announce they have been Raw Tag Team Champions for over 390 days before they make fun of Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) after Xavier Woods hits Karl Anderson with Francesca II while the referee is distracted.

Tom Phillips interviews TJ Perkins. Perkins says that Brian Kendrick might have the experience, but he has the confidence, and his confidence will help him win out.

TJ Perkins retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Brian Kendrick with the knee bar. After the match, Perkins is interviewed, but Kendrick is back up. This time, both men show respect, but Kendrick hits Perkins with a headbutt before leaving.

Tom Phillips interviews Cesaro. He says that the best of seven series with Sheamus isn't just a golden opportunity or physical dominance, it's mental toughness. He plans on going out there, winning that final match, getting that golden opportunity and getting some gold.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus ends when both men fight until neither man can no longer continue.

Bayley meets Charlotte backstage. Charlotte tells Bayley she's not going to win tonight, saying she can't even beat Sasha Banks.

Chris Jericho beats Sami Zayn after suckering Sami Zayn into a Codebreaker.

Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley meet with Kevin Owens backstage. He plans to show them why he should have been the #1 draft pick for Raw instead of Seth Rollins and that he is the main event. He also says that instead of "The Man," Rollins is "The Mistake."

Charlotte retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks and Bayley.

Roman Reigns beats Rusev to become the WWE United States Champion!

Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley wish Seth Rollins backstage. Rollins tells them to save the luck, and still believes Stephanie had something to do with Triple H costing him the WWE Universal Championship. He tells them they'll have to find a new golden boy, and he tells Stephanie to tell Triple H he bet on the wrong guy.

Kevin Owens retains the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins after the ref is knocked down, Chris Jericho interferes, and Rollins fights them both until a second referee is brought in by Stephanie McMahon only for Rollins to run into a pop-up powerbomb.

My predictions for Clash of Champions 2016

Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax

After Nia Jax put a friend of Alicia Fox's into the hospital and put Alicia herself through a barricade, we got to see what Nia Jax can really do...and she just might crank it up on pay-per-view

My prediction: Nia Jax is going to become the female Brock Lesnar, except without all that blood and concussions stuff. Hopefully.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Seth Rollins feels cheated out of the WWE Universal Championship, thanks to Triple H, the man who made him famous. Kevin Owens chalks Rollins' grievance up to jealousy, and wants to keep the Universal Championship by any means necessary, and it's all going to boil over at Clash of Champions...

My prediction: Kevin Owens will retain.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

After holding the tag team titles for over a year, The New Day may have finally met their match. They narrowly escaped Gallows and Anderson after Big E - the man Gallows and Anderson took out of the equation before SummerSlam - is back and ready to help defend the tag team titles. But will the presence of Big E back in the fold help The New Day retain the tag titles of the red brand, or will these copper-plated championships find a new home?

My prediction: Gallows and Anderson will take the titles this time. Seriously.

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Sasha Banks may have put her back out at SummerSlam, but you can't keep a good wrestler down as Sasha is already back in action and making it bad news for Charlotte. Now she's out to take the Raw Women's title back from the woman who calls herself the queen of Raw's Women's Division...but wait? What's this? Sasha Banks and Bayley had their shoulders down during the finish? And now Foley's made this a triple threat match? Well, now...

My prediction: Sasha Banks is taking the title back.

Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho

One is friends with Kevin Owens. The other used to be friends with Owens until it came to a nasty end. Now these two are going at it...

My prediction: Sami Zayn will win this one somehow.

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

C'mon. You knew this going to happen after Rusev came back.

My prediction: Roman. He can. He will. And because Rusev has held the title for too long and his reign has been unmemorable beyond making fun of Titus O'Neil's kids and declaring that the 4th of July be Rusev Day.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus

in Match #7 of the Best of Seven Series

It's all tied up after a late rally for Cesaro. This one is for all the marbles and the winner gets a championship opportunity. Get ready.

My prediction: Cesaro's winning this one.

The Brian Kendrick vs. TJ Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

TJ Perkins may have won The Cruiserweight Classic, but The Brian Kendrick has won the first Cruiserweight Division match on Raw to earn a shot at it and Perkins now has first real test as champion. There's nowhere to go but up for this division.

My prediction: Perkins will retain.

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

My predictions for Backlash 2016

AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

for the WWE World Championship

Now that AJ Styles has beaten John Cena clean and started calling himself the real face that runs the place, he obviously wants the World Championship. Of course, Ambrose isn't going to give it up to him easily...

My prediction: AJ Styles is taking the title.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Bella

in a 6-Pack Challenge for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

The Women's Division of SmackDown is competing for their brand new women's title in an every-woman-for-herself match. Who's gonna win it?

My prediction: My guess? Becky Lynch.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley)
vs.
The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

in a "second chance" match where the winner faces Heath Slater and Rhyno in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals

The Usos have finally turned heel and taken American Alpha out of the tournament after being beaten in just mere seconds. Now that they have turned their back on the WWE Universe, how will The Usos do without the support of anyone else?

My prediction: The Usos will win this one. Hype Bros ain't ready yet.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
vs.
Heath Slater and Rhyno

for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships

If The Hype Bros somehow win this, they'll take The Usos' place here, just in case.

So...who will become the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions? The established team? Or the Cinderella story?

My prediction: I like Heath Slater, but I'm giving this to the Usos. Sorry, Slater. :(

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

After the massive beating that Orton got from Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Bray Wyatt has taken to Orton, saying that Orton is just a man while he is a god. Who is going to win this one?

My prediction: Orton will probably win this one.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

After The Miz made an epic rant on the August 23rd edition of Talking Smack, Dolph Ziggler confronted Miz the next week on SmackDown, calling Miz the real coward and that nobody likes him because he's only in it to be famous. Now these two are facing each other, and the Intercontinental title is on the line.

My prediction: Dolph Ziggler is taking the title.

Tuesday, August 16, 2016

My predictions for SummerSlam 2016

Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar

Brock's back. Randy's back. They're both ready to fight. Who's gonna win...?

My prediction: Lesnar might win this one.

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

to decide the inaugural holder of the WWE Universal Championship

With the WWE World Championship on SmackDown, a new title was created by Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley to mirror the world title status of the heralded title on Raw: the WWE Universal Championship. Can Finn Balor make a huge impact on the red brand, or will Seth Rollins continue to be the impact player?

My prediction: Finn Balor just might win this one.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

for the WWE World Championship

As if Finn Balor being in line for a major championship on Raw wasn't enough of a shocker, the same thing happened on SmackDown with Dolph Ziggler, who's been waiting a few years to be a top dog again. Now he's got a shot at that, but he has to get past Dean Ambrose to get there. Who will be top banana of the blue brand?

My prediction: Dean will probably retain.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks (c)

for the WWE Women's Championship
Dana Brooke is banned from ringside for this match.

Well, it had to happen, didn't it? Sasha Banks finally upended Charlotte to become Women's Champion. Now she has to prove herself once again by getting another victory against former champion Charlotte in a championship rematch.

My prediction: Sasha Banks will retain.

Apollo Crews vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

NXT just keeps on taking over as fairly recent call-up Apollo Crews gets a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Will Apollo Crews rise a little closer to the top, or will The Miz stop the show?

My prediction: Apollo Crews is probably going to take the title.

AJ Styles vs. John Cena

It's finally happening: Styles vs. Cena, one-on-one, no Club, no outside interference, straight up mano-a-mano. This one's gonna rock the house...

My prediction: Cena will probably win this one.

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

For all those wondering if Roman Reigns was going to do something after coming back at Battleground, don't worry. He's got something to do. And he just might be the one that beats Rusev...

My prediction: Roman's taking the title.

The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

Thanks to The Club, Big E is injured, and now Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are on their own when it comes to defending the tag team titles. Have they met their match in The Club?

My prediction: The Club are walking out tag champs.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens

Chris Jericho doesn't like Enzo and Cass...and neither does Kevin Owens, who now has Jericho's back...

My prediction: Enzo and Cass are gonna win this one.

Sheamus vs. Cesaro

in Match 1 of a Best of Seven Series

Sheamus and Cesaro have been so aggressive in trying to get an opportunity on Raw that they have finally both gotten the attention of Mick Foley...who puts them in a Best of Seven series. The first match will be at SummerSlam, Who's going to have the advantage going out of SummerSlam?

My prediction: Sheamus will probably win the first match.

Becky Lynch, Carmella and Naomi vs. Natalya, Eva Marie and Alexa Bliss

Eva Marie finally gets to re-debut for SmackDown, Carmella and Alexa Bliss are on their first main roster pay-per-view event, Naomi has finally returned as a face with a glow-in-the-dark entrance, and Becky Lynch and Natalya get another shot at each other. The fire of the SmackDown Women's Division has just been lit.

My prediction: Becky, Carmella and Naomi might win this one.

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

My predictions for WWE Battleground 2016

Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

for the WWE Championship

Now that Dean Ambrose is top dog on WWE campus, his former Shield brethren want the title back; Seth because he feels he's been robbed and Roman because he wants that rematch and to prove that he's "The Guy." Now, The Man, The Guy and The Dude are all in the same title match alone at last. and they have it all to themselves. Who's going to take the title this time?

My prediction: Dean will probably retain.

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

It's that match again...but will this time be the last time?

My prediction: Sami Zayn will probably win this one.

Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

After what happened at Money in the Bank, Natalya is No-More-Mrs.-Nice-Gal, and Becky Lynch is finally sick and tired of being backstabbed by people she thinks are her friends. Now it's personal

My prediction: Have the strange feeling that Natalya will win this one by hook or by crook.

John Cena, Enzo Amore & Big Cass
vs.
The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson)

AJ Styles told Cena he had nobody to help him against The Club, but on July 4th, he was proven wrong when Enzo and Cass saved Cena from a beatdown. Now The Club is taking it personal, and want all three of them in the ring...

My prediction: The Club will probably win this one.

Darren Young vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Against all odds, Darren Young has won a battle royal to get a shot at The Miz's Intercontinental Championship...but can Darren Young win the title and truly be great again?

My prediction: Darren Young will probably be taking the title from The Miz.

Zack Ryder vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Not to be outdone, Zack Ryder is also going for the United States title that he once so proudly wore...but he's going to have to face Rusev to get it. Can he beat the Bulgarian Brute and claim a second reign, or will he fall victim to the Accolade?

My prediction: Rusev will retain.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods)
vs.
The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman)

The New Day narrowly escaped a deadly situation in the Wyatts' compound. Now both teams have to face each other in the ring. Who's gonna survive this one?

My prediction: The New Day will probably win this one.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks and ???

Sasha Banks gets a tag team match against Charlotte and Dana instead of the title match she wanted...and now she has to find a partner. Who will it be? Will Sasha win?

My prediction: Sasha and the mystery partner will win.

Thursday, June 16, 2016

My predictions for Money In The Bank 2016

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin

Yeah, this again.

My prediction: Corbin's winning again.

Apollo Crews vs. Sheamus

Oh, hey, this match is happening, too.

My prediction: Creed is winning this one.

Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns (c)

for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

He's baaaaaaaaaack! After Reigns beat AJ Styles at Extreme Rules, Rollins made his return from injury and attacked him. Now he wants the title that he never lost...

My prediction: Roman Reigns will probably retain.

Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens vs. Alberto Del Rio

in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Six men have qualified for a chance to win the coveted Money In The Bank briefcase...only one of them is going to win and get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship anytime they want. Who's it gonna be?

My prediction: Ambrose. I like Sami Zayn (and Kevin Owens), but I just have the feeling Ambrose will win this one.

John Cena vs. AJ Styles

The face that runs the place takes on the face that used to run the place in TNA. It's like a dream match come true! This had better deliver. Don't let me down, WWE.

My prediction: Cena will win this one...but not without a fight!

The Club (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)
vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass
vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

Three great new teams have a chance to take the tag team gold. But they have to deal with The New Day to do it, and The New Day won't give up the tag team championships that easily...

My prediction: The New Day will retain.

Titus O'Neil vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Well, at least they're doing something with Titus O'Neil now that he's back from a suspension and The Prime Time Players have been quietly broken up.

My prediction: Rusev will retain.

Natalya and Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte and Dana Brooke

Not content with her loss to Charlotte, Natalya is getting revenge against Charlotte...and Becky Lynch has joined forces with her.

My prediction: Natalya and Becky will win.

Thursday, May 19, 2016

My predictions for Extreme Rules 2016

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin

in a no-disqualification match

Yeah, this match again.

My prediction: Baron Corbin will win again.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. AJ Styles

in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

After two restarts due to pretty anti-climactic wins from AJ Styles that lead to Roman Reigns retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Shane and Stephanie have decided to make it so that there is a rematch...and that there must be a winner. How better to do this than an Extreme Rules match with no count-outs and no disqualifications?

My prediction: Roman Reigns is going to retain, I can just smell it.

The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) (c)
vs.
The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

After beating Enzo Amore and Big Cass via ref stoppage due to Enzo accidentally getting injured, The Vaudevillains plan to turn the clock back to 1899 with a tag team title win. They've done it in NXT, but can they do it here and cap off an impressive start to a main roster career?

My prediction: The Vaudevillains will probably take the titles.

Charlotte (c) vs. Natalya

in a Submission Match for the WWE Women's Championship in which Ric Flair is banned from ringside

It's the Figure Eight vs. The Sharpshooter in this submission rematch...and Ric Flair isn't allowed at ringside this time around or else Charlotte forfeits the Women's title to Natalya!

My prediction: Natalya is taking the Women's title.

Kalisto (c) vs. Rusev

for the WWE United States Championship

Now that Rusev is #1 contender for the United States title, Kalisto has an even more dangerous opponent that Ryback. Can Rusev take the title back?

My prediction: Rusev is taking the title.

The Miz (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn

in a Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

It's finally come down to this. Kevin Owens wants the Intercontinental title back around his waist, Sami Zayn is still getting back at Owens (and Owens still can't stand his guts) and Cesaro is back from injury. Now Miz has three guys to defend the Intercontinental title against three guys. Can he retain, or will the title be in new hands?

My prediction: Miz will retain.

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho

in an Asylum Match

After Jericho put Ambrose in a straightjacket, it finally became personal. Now Ambrose plans to put Jericho through the same hell that Jericho put him through. Can he do it?

My prediction: Ambrose will win this one.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
vs.
The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)

in a Tag Team Tornado Match

We all knew this was coming. Why WWE took this long to announce the match, stipulation and all, is beyond me. Seriously, this last-minute match addition crap needs to stop.

My prediction: The Club's taking this one.

Thursday, April 28, 2016

My predictions for WWE Payback 2016

AJ Styles vs. Roman Reigns (c)

for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

AJ Styles has had a meteoric rise to the top since his debut at the Royal Rumble this year. After teaming with - and feuding against - Chris Jericho, AJ Styles has earned a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Will Styles take one of the most prestigious prizes in wrestling history and the most prestigious title in the WWE?

My prediction: Roman Reigns will probably retain.

Cesaro vs. The Miz (c)

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

The Miz has taken the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Zack Ryder 24 hours after WrestleMania to begin his fifth Intercontinental reign...and now his wife, Maryse, has returned to WWE for the first time in years to make it happen. Now Cesaro has earned a shot at The Miz's title...can Cesaro give Miz less than a Hollywood ending?

My prediction: Cesaro will take the title.

Ryback vs. Kalisto (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Yep, it's the rematch. It hasn't been built up, but build-up was hardly necessary. We all knew this match was coming.

My prediction: Kalisto will retain.

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho

Finally, it's happening so many months after Night of Champions...which isn't even mentioned in this feud. Well, that's weird.

My prediction: Dean Ambrose will probably win this one.

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

Well, they couldn't stand each other in NXT, and now they can't stand each other on the main roster either. Now they finally face each other on a main roster pay-per-view. How's this one going to pan out?

My prediction: Kevin Owens will probably win this one.

Natalya vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Women's Championship

After Charlotte's arrogance took center stage the night after WrestleMania, the rest of the women's division walked out on her...and Natalya had finally had enough. It's now a battle against two wrestling dynasties at Payback. Who will win?

My prediction: Natalya will probably win this one and take the title.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady
vs.
The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)

The winner of this match will take on The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

NXT is slowly taking over as The Vaudevillains take on the team of Enzo and Cass in the finals of the #1 Contenders' Tag Team Tournament. Who will go on to face The New Day?

My prediction: The Vaudevillains will probably win this one.

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

Because Baron Corbin has to start his post-Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal career on the main roster somewhere.

My prediction: Corbin will win this one.

TNA Sacrifice 2016 - The Results

Today's episode is dedicated to Joanie "Chyna" Laurer.

Drew Galloway retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Tyrus.

Maria Kanellis says she has big plans as her reign over the Knockouts begins tonight...and nobody will stop her...not even Gail Kim.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) refuse to go down without a fight against Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) tonight.

Maria Kanellis shows up. She wants to make the Knockouts Division in her own image. Gail Kim shows up and mentions her disgust with her and the fact that she is the opposite of everything she and other women's wrestlers through the years has built in TNA, and after some arguing in which Gail Kim shows her irritation with being kidnapped by Rosemary - which she has the feeling Maria planned - and used as a pawn against Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode), Maria says Gail is delusional, and that she can take everything away from Gail, even professional wrestling. After decaling she plans to make the Knockouts Division in her image, she puts Gail in a match with Rosemary.

Rosemary beats Gail Kim after Maria Kanellis distracts Gail.

Eli Drake is about to debut his new segment, "Fact of Life."

Eli Drake is in the ring to debut his new segemnt, "Fact of Life." He's ready to namedrop some dummies, and namedrops Jeff Hardy, Drew Galloway...and his first two guests, The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz), who come in wearing lense-less glasses. Eli Drake chastises Jessie for reuniting the Bro Mans with Robbie E, and says they could have been tag team champions if he had stayed around longer. Jessie calls Eli Drake a "douchebag," and Eli says that all the titles will be coming to him before calling Jessie a dummy again and patting him on the face. This is the last straw for Robbie and Jessie, who attack Eli Drake to the point that he retreats. The dummy button is used against him.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) plans to drag Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) into the Valley of Shadows tonight as they take the tag team titles, and say that Beer Money will never come out of there quite the same.

Ethan Carter III says he has made many sacrifices to get to the level of success he's reached...and that he's not perfect. He tells Mike Bennett that they're going to church...and at church, he doesn't get pinned or submitted.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) beat Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) in a Valley of Shadows Match to win the TNA Tag Team Championships!

Bram isn't happy with what Eric Young did to him last week. He plans to not only take the King of the Mountain title, but also to end his career.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett says he has been wanting to change TNA since day one. He's taken EC3 has lost just about everything, and that all that matters to him now is that he beat EC3, so he can finally say that E3 has lost everything.

Eric Young is in the ring. He says he will remain king of wrestling after tonight, and calls out Bram before their match.

Bram beats Eric Young to become the new TNA King of the Mountain Champion after sending Young through a table with The Brighter Side of Suffering off the apron.

Drew Galloway says that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship has placed a target on his back, but he knows that this comes with the territory. He now has his sights set on Lashley, and tells Lashley to face him in the ring next week.

Bram shows off the table he put Eric Young through, and says he will be a fighting champion who puts the King of the Mountain title up against all comers.

Jeff Hardy slowly makes his way to the ring, still feeling the effects of his match against Matt Hardy last week. He says Matt wanted him to stop being The Charismatic Enigma, but he says that's not going to happen. Reby Sky and Rockstar Spud yell at Jeff for putting Matt Hardy through a lot of pain, and Spud calls Jeff "selfish." Reby says Matt made Jeff a star, and says that Jeff has changed him for the worse. She then spits in his face and is about to slap him, but Jeff grabs her arm and then lets go. Reby and Spud fake leaving, allowing Spud to attack Jeff from behind. Jeff Hardy fights back, hitting Spud with a Twist of Fate.

In a shocking twist, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett counters a sleeper hold from Ethan Carter III with a kick-flip off a top rope and pinning EC3's shoulder's to the mat...and becomes the first man in 30 months to pin Ethan Carter III's shoulders down to the mat for the three-count.
