Orton mentions what Cody had said about kicking his head off after the camera stopped rolling, stating that everyone thinks Cody is a good guy and that he does not believe Cody to be a liar. He says that Cody is not the same man he was twenty years ago and that a lot of compromises were made a long way despite saying that he is not compromised, and that Cody has changed throughout his career despite still being a good guy. Orton says he has never changed and that he has always been himself, and says that if Cody really does kick his head off, he has been compromised; if he does not, he has peaked. As for Steve Maclin and Mr. Anderson, he states that Maclin is on borrowed time with the International Championship, then says he brought Anderson back and he will be the one to take him out.

In footage from earlier today, Eric Young confronts Director of Authority Santino Marella and demands a match with Joe Hendry. Santino says that the match is official as he tells Eric he is lucky he did not fire him for putting his hands on a referee, and Eric says that he does not have the balls to fire him and dares Santino to fire him as he continuously calls him a puppet. Santino tells Young that the higher-ups want this match, and therefore it is happening.

Victoria Crawford beats Jody Threat following the distraction by Tessa Blanchard, who has not been seen since Against All Odds.

Backstage, we hear from Joe Hendry, who says that Eric Young was the one to mentor him and help him figure things out on his return to TNA, but he got too successful for Eric's liking to the point that Eric Young became a jealous conspiracy theorist who thinks Hendry is turning away from the values he used to preach. Hendry states that at Victory Road, Eric Young will find out why the fans chant "We believe."

Backstage, we hear from The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). Eddie Edwards says their path to Bound For Glory is set. Myers says they have been down a family member in JDC, but JDC will be at Victory Road no matter what. Moose says he does not need his family to win matches, yet Mustafa Ali has yet to prove the same with his faction. He then challenges Mustafa to a match with no seconds at ringside for Victory Road, which he thinks will not happen, then says he will prove why he is the face of the franchise and why you always trust The System.

Before the next match, AJ Francis re-introduces himself, then says that unlike Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, he will not be eliminated early by "a bunch of losers" and "a bunch of broads." He says he has been told never to concern himself with the actions of losers, but when it comes to broads, it is "the money over the honey." When he gets in Rosemary's face and says that he would slam her even though he would never hit a woman, Rosemary spits green mist in his face. AJ Francis soon gets eliminated by everyone else in the match.

Mance Warner last eliminates Lei Ying Lee in a battle royal to enter the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at #20.

As per the Bioflex Injury Report: Moose is cleared for competition following a head injury from a headbutt from Agent Zero. Mike Santana is cleared for Victory Road following the attack from Ridge Holland. Mr. Anderson is cleared for tonight's match.

It is announced that Mickie James and The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound For Glory.

We see a video package of Mike Santana's road to Bound For Glory.

Director of Authority Santino Marella is in the ring for "The Final Negotation." Team 3D (Bully Ray and Brother Devon) is introduced first, followed by The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Bully Ray says that out of respect for what The Hardys continue to do for TNA, he will allow them the floor first. Matt Hardy says it is surreal that both teams are in a TNA ring. He says that when The Hardys returned to TNA, they wanted to cement themselves as the greatest of all time, and while they have made some all-time lists, they will never catch up to Team 3D on the "most decorated" list. Bully Ray says TNA is what it is because of The Hardys. Matt says that to cement themselves as the greatest of all time, they must beat Team 3D one last time. Bully Ray tells Brother Devon that they made a lot of memories and history with The Hardys, and D-Von mentions the time they were 25 feet in the air and says "Never again, you son of a bitch!" Matt Hardy mentions falling off a 16-foot ladder and going through 4 tables, and Bully Ray wonders how even Jeff Hardy is still alive. Both teams agree they have been through a lot and made a lot of history together, and while they are going through memory lane and nostalgia, Bully Ray says that The Hardys need them at the end of the day, and that is the truth. Matt says the truth is the truth, and they need them at Bound For Glory to see who the greatest truly is. He says that whoever wins will shake the others' hands and proclaim the other team as the greatest. Bully Ray then asks what they have to offer them, and Matt Hardy says they are putting the tag team titles on the line. If Team 3D wins, they will be 25-time world tag team champions. Bully Ray says there are more deserving teams, but Matt Hardy wants them to jump to the front of the line for one special match that will happen one final time. Santino agrees to this, and asks the fans if they want this, to which the fans agree. Bully Ray rejects the offer, however, and the fans chant "We want tables!" Bully Ray then mentions their tag team tables match at Royal Rumble 2000, which The Hardys won, then says Team 3D needs The Hardys as much as The Hardys need them. He says that this loss has bothered them to this day, especially since it was in their hometown of New York City, then says that if they are going to do this, they will do this the right way: in a tables match. Santino Marella then makes it official and hands the contract to Team 3D, but Bully Ray says they do not need a contract as Devon tears the contract up, and that all they need to do is shake hands. Both teams shake hands in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, we hear from Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz). Mustafa is the kind of tired that sleep cannot fix, as he is tired of explaining himself as well as the disrespect, and he is tired of The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). He says that actions have consequences regarding Moose's stipulation for Victory Road. John Skyler says that Order 4 will unleash those consequences, and Jason Hotch says they are what a family really looks like. Tasha Steelz says that at Bound For Glory, they will stand united while The System falls divided. Mustafa then accepts Moose's challenge for Victory Road, but he does not like to leave anything to chance. He says that whoever wins between himself and Moose will earn the advantage for Hardcore War for their team. The System then shows up, and both factions have a staredown.

Before the next match, Steve Maclin ends up playing the part of the microphone that fails to drop down from the ceiling.

Steve Maclin and Mr. Anderson beat Frankie Kazarian and Jake Something.

Lee Johnson then holds Bandido down so that Blake Christian can hit Bandido with the Lethal Injection, then Hologram shows up and brings Komander with him. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian retreat when Hologram and Komander slide into the ring.

Before the next match, Tony Nese reintroduces Stori Denali as his and Ariya Daivari's contingency plan, and says that if it were up to him, he would send Stori over the guardrail and have her wrestle the fans, as the city's disgusting appetite for violence is why "Smart" Mark Sterling is in a hospital bed getting surgery. Ariya Daivari then tries to get the fans to say The Premiere Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Stori Denali) rule only to be told that they suck.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Stori Denali) beat JD Ink, El Magnifico and Rebecca Scott in a six-person tag team match.

La Faccion Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara and Rush) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich). During the match, Sammy Guevara pulls the referee out of the ring and sistracts him; that allows Dralistico to get involved in the match.

Backstage, we hear from "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo, who says that she is the foundation and is bringing purity back to a women's division that has clearly lost its soul. She says that other women have used their attractiveness to get over, which she calls an embarrassment, then Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" show up and tell Deonna that those are tough words for someone who is about to get beaten by Trish Adora. As Deonna tells them that Steve Maclin taught her to always keep her front towards the enemy in a reference to The Infantry's (Dean and Bravo) military service, Trish Adora attacks her from the side and states that the ROH Women's Pure Championship will be the next title brought to Shane Taylor Promotions.

Billie Starkz beats Olympia in a Pure Rules Match with a counter into a crucifix pin to advance in the ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay. During the match, Don Callis hands Fletcher a screwdriver and distracts the referee so that Fletcher can use the screwdriver as a weapon, but Ospreay refuses to win this way, hands the screwdriver to the referee and gives Callis an earful. This allows The Young Bucks to hit Fletcher with the tag team championship belts followed by a Superkick Party and an EVP-Trigger to retain.

He says he has seen the highs and lows of Swerve's world title reign, then blames Swerve's failure not on Swerve, but on Nana, accusing him of caring more about selling coffee and dancing. He then tells Nana to give Swerve his business card when he is serious about getting back to the mountaintop again, and that when he is, he will be ready to talk business.

We see footage of "Scapegoat" Jack Perry in his van driving across a bridge in New York City.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cody decides to cut to the chase regarding "Main Event" Jey Uso, saying that his arrival on Raw means someone will be drafter to SmackDown and will lead to a disgruntled locker room, but he will not let Jey sink, even if they are not best friends and he has his reasons. He says he would not stand by and let someone get jumped by three other for making the right decision in turning down joining The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio), whom he calls the most toxic faction in the history of WWE. The Judgment Day - minus Rhea - shows up, and Finn asks Cody why he has to stick his nose in their business. Priest says they gave Jey the opportunity to join a real family and that Cody could not help himself after Jey turned them down. Dominik is drowned out by the fans' boos as he says that Jey Uso will pay for disrespecting them, which he says is all Cody's fault. Cody then mentions Priest mentioning a real family and how his family cannot stand him, then asks what will happen when Rhea Ripley comes back to no championship gold. Rollins then proclaims there is one thing left to do, then calls out Shinsuke Nakamura for a rematch once more and that he wants an answer. He states that if Nakamura does not accept his rematch, then he is moving on to other challengers. After Rollins tells Nakamura that the floor is his, Nakamura shows up on the TitanTron and says that Rollins has so many demands and that he wants nothing more to be the one who decimates him. He says that Rollins will have one last chance to sing his song and become champion before he stands tall while Rollins never stands again, and he accepts his challenge for Fastlane in a Last Man Standing Match. Rollins says that Nakamura has played things perfectly and got the match that he wanted on his terms, yet Nakamura has one critical mistake in thinking his broken back is a weakness he can exploit. Rollins then says his broken back is not a weakness, but a strength, and the only way his family will be ashamed of him is if he does not give this match everything he has. He knows his family loves him, but his family knows he loves professional wrestling, and that every time he steps in the ring might be the last time and that his 100% makes him the best in the world and World Heavyweight Champion. He then says one man will walk out, but it will not be Nakamura; it will be him.

Backstage, Finn Balor congratulates Dominik Mysterio before telling him that Damian Priest will be fine and that they still have a lot of work to do.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Drew McIntyre. When he asks why he did this, McIntyre tells Miz he is nothing like him, but Miz says they are a lot alike and that abandoning Jey Uso is "a very Miz move" and that they both know what it is like to take WWE to new heights as champion. He then says that The Bloodline kept him from becoming WWE Champion and that this is why McIntyre does not trust Jey Uso, then calls McIntyre "the Batman of WWE" while "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is more like Superman. As Miz asks McIntyre what it was like to be upstaged by Cody Rhodes, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up. Kofi says that this is not the Drew McIntyre that they know and that McIntyre was a coward last week, and Xavier Woods says that while they have called him "Big D," they have noticed some shrinking as of late. McIntyre says that Cody helped Jey out to clean up his own mess and that Jey has cost The New Day opportunities, but Kofi says they have been watching him and they know that he always does the right thing. R-Truth looks through a bunch of index cards, then asks Daniel Bryan how cathartic it would be to defeat The Miz at Super Show-Down and move one step closer to the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan says that Truth TV is better than Miz TV, then the "Truth TV seven-second dance break" commences before Daniel Bryan tries to answer the question again. Daniel Bryan says he spent so much energy to come back to WWE, but he did not just want to come back; he wanted to be WWE Champion as he has unfinished business with the title as well as with The Miz, who he says has cheated to win. If he can beat Miz, it would be rather cathartic, as he wants to prove he is the best as opposed to The Miz, who just wants to say he is the best. Before he can say much else, The Miz shows up. Miz wants to know what Truth is doing on his show, and as the fans chant "Truth TV!", Truth says he beat Miz two weeks ago, and that if he had a championship, it would be his; instead, Miz has a talk show, so he just took that. Miz tells Truth he is an idiot, but Truth says he is an idiot with a talk show. Miz then says he and Daniel Bryan have their differences, with Daniel Bryan being the "scrappy, relatable underdog" being the favorite. He says that Daniel Bryan's fighting fair is why he will not win, as he has beaten Daniel Bryan by any means necessary before and he will do it again at Super Show-Down. He says Daniel only foiled one of his 300 ideas last week, and he has an idea for every second of every day and he will pull them out at Super Show-Down. Miz says the only way Daniel Bryan can beat him is if he stops fighting fair and does anything and everything possible, even though he says Daniel Bryan is afraid of losing the hope of the people and tarnishing his own name in the eyes of the fans. Truth tells Miz to stop blaspheming Daniel Bryan's name, and bans Miz from Truth TV for wrecking the animal segment. Miz says this isn't even Truth's show. R-Truth tells Miz that if he wants his show back, he will fight him for it. Before Miz can say anything else, Truth TV has another dance break. and The Miz leaves. Last week, Cesaro beat him, and it would just be silly for them to come out to the ring and not take them seriously. Big E says that since they have a lot of respect for them, they decided to play a little game called the "#SaySomethingNice Challenge." Woods says that even though The New Day make fun of his nipples and that he looks like a Swiss Jason Statham, they enjoy his movies and that is a good thing. Big E tries to say something about Sheamus, but Sheamus takes the microphone and says The New Day may have the people fooled, but they don't have them fooled, as The New Day wants to joke around while they want to fight. Cesaro says the mockery will come to an end at Super Show-Down when they take the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and that the laughs will end for Big E tonight when Sheamus beats the crap out of him.

Sheamus beats Big E with a Brogue Kick after countering the Big Ending.

Aiden says it was simpler when it was just him and Rusev. Lana tells Aiden that she made Rusev into an unstoppable force and even got him a tank to ride out at WrestleMania, and he says that while Aiden does a great job at being a glorified cheerleader, he is trying to create a name for himself through Rusev. Aiden then drops the microphone on the stage and leaves.

She tells Lana to tell Rusev to carry her bags to the car when she is done with her, as she won't physically be able to when she walks back out the curtain.

Before the next match, The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) are about to speak, but Naomi and Asuka make their entrance before they can say a word. They guest on commentary for the next match. It is also mentioned that the next match has occurred after Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose mocked Asuka and Naomi earlier today.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger vs. "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura ends with Randy Orton attacking Dillinger before hitting him with a draping DDT off the apron. Afterwards, Nakamura teases leaving, but turns around to hit Dillinger with a Kinshasa into the LED board on the side of the ring.

Becky Lynch beats Lana with the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, Kalya Braxton interviews Aiden English backstage. Aiden says that next week, he will show video evidence of proof of something Lana did in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

General Manager Paige is in the ring for the contract signing for Samoa Joe vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down. She says that due to a controversial ending at Hell In A Cell, she had to make the match a no count-out, no disqualification match, as there has to be a winner. She introduces Styles, who shows up. When she introduces Samoa Joe, however, Joe doesn't show up. Styles says Joe does not have the guts to meet him face-to-face and sign on the dotted line and says Joe is more likely to attack him from behind, and that he has eyes in the back of his head tonight. Styles says Joe has another opportunity to take the WWE Championship from him in a match that is more up Joe's alley as he does not follow the rules. Suddenly, Samoa Joe is seen on the TitanTron and says that the great thing about the wrestling business is that they get to travel the world, experience new cultures, go to exotic places and see things they'd never think they'd see. Tonight, he finds himself in one of those places: Styles' home. He says that he told Styles' wife Wendy and daughter Annie that "daddy is coming home," and that Styles has done well for himself. He asks Styles if he feels helplessness and if that helplessness is turning into horror into the fact that there is nothing he can do. He asks if Styles feels guilty for not listening to his warnings, then says Styles is far away. He tells Styles to call his wife, then realizes Styles does not bring his phone to the ring. He then says he has a doll for Annie that Annie is sure to love, then asks if Styles feels enraged because he knows his family is near his home. He asks if that rage is turning into fear, then tells him to remember that feeling when he meets him for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down, as this has always been about consequences. He says that it is one thing to deny him the WWE Championship, but it is another thing to steal it from him, which demands consequences. He then rings the doorbell to AJ Styles' house before saying "Daddy's home."
