Black Friday - Ring of Honor recap for November 28, 2025

Backstage, we hear from Sammy Guevara. Guevara says that Rush is injured and cannot compete next week at Final Battle, which means that the ROH World Tag Team Championships have once again been held up. This time, Guevara's partner will be The Beast Mortos as they take back the tag team titles, as they are on fire more than they are and the tag team titles will be staying where they belong.



Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo) beat The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) by submission in a six-man tag match with a Border City Stretch from Moriarty to Evil Uno.

Backstage, we hear from "Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian. He finds it funny that he is in a match on a technicality despite carrying Ring of Honor all year, but says that this is fate, and states that Rush's misfortune is now his goldmine and he is in the Survival of the Fittest Match for the ROH World Championship. He says he made a name for himself at last year's Final Battle, and this year, he will become the ROH World Champion.



The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) beat Fly Def ("Fly Brother" Warren Johnson and "Zackzilla" Zack Mason) via pinfall with the Iron Claw.

In backstage footage from earlier today, we hear from Jay Lethal and Adam Priest. Lethal issues an apology to Priest, feeling that he cost them their match with The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia). Priest accepts his apology, then says that they have matches coming up and that they need to find "The Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington.



Jay Lethal, Adam Priest and "The Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington beat The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, Jacked Jameson) in a six-man tag match.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Serena Deeb to advance in the ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament after Serena exhausts all of her rope breaks.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says that he and The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Story Denali) have a term for the fans: NARPs, or "non-athletic regular people." He says that there is nothing wrong with being regular as long as they know they will never be premier, then lets the fans tell them that they rule only to be told that they suck.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Stori Denali) beat Charity King, Exodus Prime and Gino Medina in a six-person tag match.

The Swirl ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson) beat Beef and "The Main Man" Oro.

In backstage footage from Full Gear, we hear from The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona). They state that they told everyone so, and that the champion is in demand. They say that if you are in demand, you can make demands, and if one does not follow demands, they get put down.



Backstage, we hear from Nigel McGuinness, who - having no idea how many more matches he has left - challenges "Taiga" Lee Moriarty to a thirty-minute Iron Man Match at Final Battle.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for November 6, 2025

Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) and Beef after La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, The Beast Mortos) show up and Rush and hits Beef with one of the ROH World Tag Team Championships as Anthony Ogogo distracts the referee. After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions attack Beef as LFI leaves, then Skyflight (Scorpio Sky, Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Christopher Daniels, Leila Grey) suddenly shows up and chases Shane Taylor Promotions away.

Skyflight (Scorpio Sky, Darius Martin, Dante Martin) beats "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) in a six-man tag match.

We see a video package chronicling the events between Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall leading up to their match against The Don Callis Family at Full Gear.



The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer and Hechicero) beat The OXP and Orion by submission from Hechicero to The OXP.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for October 23, 2025

Mascara Dorada beats Angelico to become #1 contender for the ROH World Champion.

Jay Lethal, Adam Priest and "The Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington beat The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) by submission with a single leg crab from Billington to Reynolds.

We hear from Red Velvet, who congratulates Mercedes Moné before telling her that history means nothing when she is face to face with the future. She says that while Mercedes has travelled the world and collected more championship, she has rebuilt her body, and now she is medically cleared. Red Velvet says that she broke herself to become the ROH Women's World Television Champion and tells Mercedes Moné to celebrate while she can, because when she comes out through the curtain, the fun will be over and she will be the real Women's World Television Champion.



"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo beats Angelica Risk by submission with the Venus de Milo in a Pure Rules Match to advance in the ROH Pure Women's Championship Tournament. After the match, Yuka Sakazaki shows up for the next match and stares Purrazzo down briefly before getting in the ring.

Yuka Sakazaki and Alex Windsor beat Billie Starkz and Aleah James after Billie turns on Aleah for tagging herself in.

Backstage, we hear from Jay Lethal, Adam Priest and "The Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington. Lethal addresses The Swirl ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and Lee Johnson), who says that he does not let anybody down and challenges them to a rubber match.



Isla Dawn and Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) beat Dream Girl Ellie, Leeroy Shogun and Bryce Cannon in a six-person tag match.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for October 2, 2025

We hear from MxM TV (Mansoor, Mason Madden, Johnny TV, Taya Valkyrie), as Johnny TV faces AR Fox and Monsoor, Mason Madden and Taya will face Top Flight and Leila Grey. Mason says that they have a way of being undefeated, and Mansoor says that having Seed on his person felt empowering. Unfortunately, TSA has confiscated Seed due to the load size being too big. MxM TV is confident that they will stay undefeated.

Skyflight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Leila Grey) beat MxM TV (Mansoor, Mason Madden, Taya Valkyrie) in a six-person tag match.

The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) beat Rosario Grillo and Chance Prhophet. After the match, La Faccion Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara, Rush, Dralistico) show up and congratulate The Workhorsemen from the stage.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Zoey Lynn in a Pure Rules Match.

The Frat House's partying is interrupted by Coach Buzz Stern, who then turns into Glacier to fight The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, Preston Vance, Jacked Jameson) when The Frat House dares him to stop them from partying. Unfortunately for The Frat House and their guests, it doesn't go very well for The Frat House. After Coach Buzz Stern/Glacier leaves, we find out that The Frat House is holding their party at Little Guido's house, and Little Guido tells everyone to get off his property.

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson states that The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, Preston Vance, Jacked Jameson) are only pretending to be college students and are really grown men who love to get blackout drunk and knock people out. He says that they are looking for pledges, but nobody can hang with them, and so they have to fight everyone they come across. Preston Vance says that win or lose, they booze, then suddenly hits one of their three opponents with a cheap shot to start the next match.

The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, Jacked Jameson) beat Casey King, Corey Sparks and Nick Hamrick in a six-man tag match.

Backstage, we hear from La Faccion Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara, Rush, Dralistico), who congratulate The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) on winning tonight. Guevara says that they are winners everyday and that LFI want to give The Workhorsemen the opportunity to step up to a real challenge "the next time they want to be men" and face them for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

Jay Lethal beats Aaron Solo.

Before the next match, Tony Nese says that everyone knows who he and Ariya Daivari and that everyone is learning who Story Denali is and what she is capable of. He says "Smart" Mark Sterling would have showed up, but he has stated that he would tear his other bicep than go to West Virginia. Daviari gives everyone a chance to state that The Premier Athletes rule only to be told they suck.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Story Denail) beat Cowpoke Paul, Gen Z and Reese Ramone in a six-person tag match.

Serena Deeb beats Katie Arquette in a Pure Rules Match by submission with the Octopus.

Alex Windsor and Sareee beat Billie Starkz and Diamanté by submission with a Sharpshooter from Windsor to Diamanté.

We see a Renee Paquette interview with "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty for AEW Close Up, now available on YouTube.

Dralistico beats Beef. After the match, Rush attacks Beef with a camera cable while Dralistico and Sammy Guevara join in, but The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) show up to make the save for Beef.

Backstage, we hear from Alex Windsor, who says it was a privilege to tag with Sareee tonight before stating that Sareee is currently the IWGP Women's Champion, and when she challenged Syuri for the title, Sareee wanted to know who Windsor was. Windsor then tells Sareee that she plans to show her exactly who she is by challenging her for the IWGP Women's Championship. The match is made official for next week.

AR Fox beats Johnny TV after reversing Moonlight Drive with a schoolkid pin.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for January 29, 2025

Before the next match, Don Callis tells Will Ospreay to look at the video screen. It is revealed that Kenny Omega has been attacked backstage, allowing "The Machine" Brian Cage to hit a cheap shot. Don Callis then guests on commentary for the next match.

Will Ospreay beats "The Machine" Brian Cage after knocking Cage into Lance Archer to knock Archer off the apron and hitting him with the Styles Clash. After the match, Cage and Archer attack Ospreay, and Don Callis commands them to finish Ospreay off. Kenny Omega shows up with a metal folding chair and hits Archer with it before throwing it at Cage's head. "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher soon run to the ring and attack Ospreay and Omega from behind, hitting both of them with stereo piledrivers. The Don Callis Family then stands tall. Takeshita's music hits, but The Don Callis attacks Ospreay and Omega a little bit more before leaving the ring. Takeshita's music hits again, but Fletcher and Konosuke stomp at Omega on the way out when they see him trying to get up.



Backstage, Renee Paquette tries to interview Swerve Strickland when "Hangman" Adam Page starts looking for somebody. He runs into MJF, then leaves, and MJF and Renee tries to get an interview with him. MJF says nobody will ruin his mood and that his words are prophecy, and that Jeff Jarrett will learn the hard way when he faces Claudio Castagnoli.



We hear from Powerhouse Hobbs, who says that he is not cleared for travel tonight. He warns Big Bill that they are going to Hell and that when he is cleared, he will show him that Hell is just the beginning.

Claudio Castagnoli beats Jeff Jarrett thanks to Wheeler Yuta, who places a metal folding chair in the ring for Claudio to use before distracting the refeee, and Jon Moxley, who hits Jarrett with the Death Rider before Claudio hits Jarrett with two Neutralizers. After the match, the crowd chants for Jarrett before MJF shows up, spits out his gum, and hits him with a clothesline. MJF then tells Jarrett that he respects his elders, which is why he will not tell Jarrett "I told you so."



Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Ricochet. It is mentioned that if Swerve Strickland interferes tonight, he will forfeit his match with Ricochet. Ricochet says he will take care of Swerve, then takes offense to having to face AR Fox and states he will have to take care of him quickly.

Ricochet beats AR Fox. After the match, Ricochet pulls some golden scissors out from the bottom turnbuckle, but he is suddenly pulled out of the ring by Swerve Strickland and thrown into the ring steps. Swerve goes to the top turnbuckle, but Ricochet takes AR Fox hostage with the golden scissors and uses him as a human shield to escape to the back.

"Daddy Magic" Matt Menard plus some of the merchandise on Shop AEW in thirty seconds.

We see a commercial for the movie Dark Match.

We see The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) for another New York Minute. Chris Jericho plus Dark Match, which he stars in, then brags about Big Bill taking out Powerhouse Hobbs. Big Bill says it is one thing to share Jericho's teachings, but another to put them into action, and he understands them like he never did before and feels stronger. Jericho is proud of himself for being such a great mentor, then says Big Bill did not take Hobbs permanently. Jericho then says that The Learning Tree will take out The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd), and expects Big Bill to make him proud this time.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Wheeler Yuta. After the match, Switchblade hits Wheeler with another Blade Runner, but before he can make it a trifecta, Jon Moxley shows up and stares him down from the apron. Claudio Castagnoli shows up and attacks Switchblade from behind. As Claudio and Moxley go on the attack, Rated FTR (Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler) rush into the ring, causing them to retreat. Dax Harwood says he does not hate how The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta) operate, but he hates their trying to end Ricky Morton's career. He then challenges The Death Riders to a Mid-South Street Fight on Collision.



We see a video package chronicling the events leading up to Toni Storm vs. "The Glamour" Mariah May for the AEW Women's World Championship at Grand Slam Australia.

Renee Paquette interviews "The Glamour" Mariah May on the stage. Mariah May says Toni Storm is not real and rips the microphone away from Renee, then says that if Toni wants to play herself, then she should play the Toni who gave her heart to the woman who used her for championship gold or the Toni who was bleeding and crying in her hands. She also tells Toni to play the Toni that had to wrestle all over the world because she could not touch her, then says she can play any role she wants because the end will be the same. Mariah says she does not have to roleplay because she is so good she does not have to change a thing. She says she is "the woman from Hell" and always will be, and she will remind Toni for the rest of her life.



We see a video package for The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn), who are seen looking back on their past in AEW while training and getting ready for what is next.

We hear from The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin). MVP says that Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) are warriors who fought hard, then says that they will keep the AEW tag team titles for as long as they want to while accepting any challenge, any time and any place.

We see a video package for "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita.

Backstage, we hear from The Vendetta. Taya says that Mercedes Moné will soon face and beat Yuka Sakazaki with the TBS Championship on the line. Purrazzo says it would have been her in the match had it not been for Harley Cameron, then says the world is not built for women like them and that it is time to take what they think they deserve. She says that she will see Harley at Collision, and Taya says that they are coming to collect.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Yuka Sakazaki.

Homecoming - Collision recap for January 25, 2025

We hear from The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, Kip Sabian), Toni Storm, "The Glamour" Mariah May and Samoa Joe at the start of tonight's show.

Samoa Joe beats "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne. Before the match, Hook and "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata show up as The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, Kip Sabian) before standing in Samoa Joe's corner. At the end of the match, Christian and Sabian get on the ring apron only to get pulled down and beaten up by Hook and Shibata as Samoa Joe wins with the Muscle Buster.



"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada beats Komander. After the match, Okada shakes Komander's hand, then attacks him from behind before leaving.



Backstage, "The Redwood" Big Bill throws a brick at Powerhouse Hobbs before brawling with him. Security eventually shows up to restore order.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Costco Guys (Big Boom AJ and Big Justice). All of a sudden, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly) shows up, and Adam Cole shows up to do a "Boom!" with AJ and Big Justice. Undisputed Kingdom gets five big booms.

Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) beats Daniel Garcia, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker in a trios match. During the match, Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) is seen mouthing off at Garcia at ringside. Both teams shake hands after the match.



Backstage, we hear from "Platinum" Max Caster. Caster says that both Anthony Bowens and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn have turned their backs on him in front of the whole world. He says the response has been overwhelmed and that he has realized that he is a survivor, then announces his open challenge series. He wants to see who can survive "The Best Wrestler Alive" and see who else is a survivor, because while there are some great wrestlers in the locker room, they cannot be him.

We see a vignette for Hologram in the form of computer code.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Top Flight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Leila Grey). Dante says they cannot find Lio Rush or Action Andretti anywhere, and Darius says this is no surprise, saying that Lio became part of the group thanks to Dante and that while Action Andretti held it down when Dante was gone and almost got them to the trios titles when he returned, Lio left him high and dry when he was gone. Darius says he now has to clean the mess that Lio started up, and challenges Lio to a one-on-one match.

Tony Schiavone moderates a face-to-face meeting between "The Glamour" Mariah May and Toni Storm. Mariah shows up first, followed by Toni. Toni offers to shake Mariah's hand, but Mariah flatly refuses. Mariah says that when she looks at Toni, she sees nothing, and when she thinks of her, she feels nothing, and in the hearts of the fans, Toni is nothing. Mariah calls Toni a joke and a meme that the fans laugh at before forgetting about her, just like she knew they would, and admits she does not and has never cared about Toni, who she calls "the easiest, dumbest pawn" that she used to dominate the game, and if she has to remind her again at Grand Slam Australia, so be it, because as good as she feels right now, she will get off humiliating her in her hometown. Toni says that she is Mariah's biggest fan and that she has seen everything Mariah has done, and calls her "amazing" and "an inspiration," and says that one day, she wants to be just like her. Toni then hugs Mariah, who then slaps her. Mariah tells Schiavone to get out of the ring before hitting Toni with the Women's World Championship while two referees and two security guards tell her to stop. Mariah then spits on Toni, who then grabs the microphone as two more security guards tell Mariah to leave. Toni suddenly says that she has not forgotten, then removes hasks Mariah what makes her think that their dance is done. She says that she will feel every scar and drop of blood forever, but now, it is her moment in the sun. Toni says the hardest role one will ever play is one self as she strips down to her "Timeless" gimmick, and that the fans have witnessed the performance of a lifetime. She says Mariah may be "the woman from Hell," but she came from her womb, and she will shove her back up there and spit her out, for she is "Timeless" Toni Storm and she is going to "rip [her] tits off."

Brody King and Buddy Matthews - now known as the Hounds of Hell - beat Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona).



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Harley Cameron and The Costco Guys (Big Boom AJ and Big Justice). As Harley is about to sing, The Vendetta ("The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo) shows up, and Taya Valkyrie says that they are not going to listen to "a Tiktok family" and a wrestler going after the TBS Championship who cannot even win on TV. Purrazzo says she will win tonight's four-way match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Penelope Ford and Thunder Rosa. Rosa says Daily's Place is the heart of AEW and reminisces about the great matches that she had there, but Penelope says this is the present and that it is time that AEW saw the real star in her, and if she has to tear apart Thunder Rosa to show it, she will. Thunder Rosa takes this as a challenge, and Penelope Ford challenges her to a match and promises to put her in the ground and have something to reminisce about. Thunder Rosa sarcastically tells Penelope that she will make it very fun and very memorable.

Yuka Sakazaki beats "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo, Serena Deeb and Queen Aminata in a four-way TBS Championship qualifier match. During the match, Harley Cameron shows up and makes the save for Yuka when Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie go for a double-team vertical suplex on her. Harley hits Taya with a step-up enzuigiri, but Purrazzo hits Harley with a pump kick. Purrazzo soon goes for the Fujiwara Arm Bar on Yuka, but Yuka reverses with a La Magistral Cradle to win.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Hounds of Hell (Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart). Buddy says that when they bark, they bark together. Suddenly, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada shows up and laughs at Buddy before telling him "You bark like a bitch." Buddy immediately challenges Okada to a match for the Continental Championship, but Okada flips him off and says no. Buddy retorts "I guess you're the bitch, then." Okada says "I'm no bitch!" after The Hounds of Hell leave.

"The Redwood" Big Bill is in the ring. He says that if Powerhouse Hobbs wants to assault him in the parking lot, then tonight, he will make sure Hobbs gets locked up for what he did. Big Bill mocks Hobss talking about where Daily's Place was where it all began for him, then tells him to take his bum knee and get into the ring so he can finish it. Hobbs shows up and manhandles the security guards in front of him as well as the ones that show up afterwards, then gets in the ring and brawls with Big Bill. Big Bill kicks the hurt knee, then kicks Hobbs in the face before hitting him with his backpack on the stage. Inside the backpack is a several items, including a pair of handcuffs, bricsk and Hobbs' knee brace. Big Bill bloodies Hobbs' nose with several punches, then the two of them brawl in front of the crwod on the way to the announce table. Big Bill then hits Hobbs in the back with a metal folding chair before continuing to attack him with it on the way back to the stage. Big Bill then grabs the knee brace and mocks Hobbs before throwing it down and punching Hobbs some more. Bill then reas back with a brick before Hoobs kicks him in the groin, hitting him with several knees and belly-to-belly suplexing him off the stage and through a table.



We see footage of Don Callis and his family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Machine" Brian Cage, Lance Archer) at Callis' mansion. Callis says that Kenny Omega is not the same man who faded away into the night a year ago and that this Kenny Omega is bloodthirsty and lacks empathy and will not stop until he spills his and the family's blood. He says that Omega's alliance with Will Ospreay must not be allowed. Brian Cage says there is five of them and only two of Omega and Ospreay, but Callis warns him not to sell Omega short and says a barely focused Omega won three world titles in three months. He also implies there is more than just the five of them.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita retains the AEW International Championship against "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata.

Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico) beat Ren Jones and Derek Dillinger by submission.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Rachael Ellering, who says that the women's division is stepping up tot he plate and she wants to be part of that. Harley Cameron shows up and mentions that they got off on the wrong foot, and Rachael says that people have said some things about Harley and that some of them are not true. Harley then gets Rachael and Lexy in a group hug, then says this is the start of a beautiful friendship.



Yuka Sakazaki beats Viva Van.

In backstage footage from WrestleDream, "The Machine" Brian Cage says he did what he said he would do and became ROH World Television Champion. He says this is all long overdue and that things are going to change around here, as he had the look and the talent and all he needed was a little push. He says that "The Age of Cage" starts now and that he will continue to prove that he is the best.

"The Prodigy" Nick Wayne beats Brian Cook.

MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) beat Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl).

AR Fox beats Jack Cartwheel.

Atlantis Jr. beats Jon Cruz.

Komander beats Willie Mack.

Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman look back on The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. SoCal Uncensored ("The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) in Ladder War IX for the ROH World Tag Team Championships from Final Battle 2018.

Grand Slam - Dynamite recap for September 25, 2024

At the start of the show, Nigel McGuinness heads to the ring for a match, and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson's music hits and Danielson fails to show. McGuinness demands a ten-count and Danielson being stripped of the AEW World Championship is Danielson fails to show. In the middle of the count, "The Final Countdown" by Europe plays instead of Danielson's usual AEW theme, and Danielson shows up clearly fit to wrestle.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Nigel McGuinness with the Lebell Lock despite numbness in his right forearm, which causes Danielson to keep the hold locked in with his right wrist. After the match, Christian Cage shows up with his World Championship match contract. He opens the case, which doubles as a clipboard, to sign the contract, but Kip Sabian sneaks up on Christian and steals his pen. Christian runs into Claudio Castagnoli and PAC as he chases after Sabian.



Hook retains the FTW Championship against Roderick Strong after countering End of Heartache with Redrum. After the match, Roderick Strong shakes hands with Hook. Tony Schiavone interviews Hook after the match. Hook says all good things must come to an end, and on behalf of his family, he thanks every family who has faced him for the FTW Championship as well as the fans for their support. He then announces that the FTW Championship is official retired, and he hands the championship back to Taz before heading to the back.



Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay. During the match, Don Callis hands Fletcher a screwdriver and distracts the referee so that Fletcher can use the screwdriver as a weapon, but Ospreay refuses to win this way, hands the screwdriver to the referee and gives Callis an earful. This allows The Young Bucks to hit Fletcher with the tag team championship belts followed by a Superkick Party and an EVP-Trigger to retain.



Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher, Orange Cassidy) and Rocky "Azucar" Romero. Orange makes Romero an official member, then Mark Briscoe tells everyone to expect their cool new shirt. He then says he is wearing a classic "Dem Boys" shirt because he is feeling history, and tonight, they will give The Learning Tree a Conglomeration-style ass whupping. He also says the word of the day is "vociferous."

Tony Schiavone interviews Prince Nana on the stage. Prince Nana says it is good to be in New York in Swerve's house, then says that Swerve Strickland means a lot to him and that nothing can stop the most dangerous man in AEW. He then says that Swerve is not physically cleared to come back, yet he is fighting to get back in the ring for the fans. Suddenly, he is interrupted by MVP. MVP agrees that Swerve is the most dangerous man in AEW, then says is the most phenomenal talent to step foot in an AEW ring, and that his 2024 world title run will be studied by many. He says he has seen the highs and lows of Swerve's world title reign, then blames Swerve's failure not on Swerve, but on Nana, accusing him of caring more about selling coffee and dancing. He then tells Nana to give Swerve his business card when he is serious about getting back to the mountaintop again, and that when he is, he will be ready to talk business.



We see footage of "Scapegoat" Jack Perry in his van driving across a bridge in New York City.

"The Glamour" Mariah May retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Yuka Sakazaki. After the match, Mariah is about to hit Yuka with the Women's World title when Willow Nightingale runs into the ring to confront Mariah. All of a sudden, Mina Shirakawa's entrance hits, and Mariah hits Willow from behind with the title before embracing Mina. Yuka runs at Mariah, and Mina unknowingly stands between them.



Jon Moxley beats Darby Allin in a violent match to win Darby Allin's shot at the AEW World Championship following an avalanche Death Rider. After the match, medical staff checks on Darby, then "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson comes out of the crowd to choke Moxley with a blue necktie. Marina Shafir tries to choke Danielson at the same time, and Claudio Castagnoli and PAC show up to pull Danielson off so they and Shafir can all attack Danielson. All of a sudden, Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) show up to even the numbers game, and this leads to a brawl all over the ring. Claudio has to save Moxley from a Busaiku Knee from Danielson. Danielson says that if Moxley wants war, then he declares war. He says that if Moxley wants a shot at the AEW World Championship, he has it as WrestleDream, and he will "kick Moxley's fucking head in."

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 18, 2024

Orange Cassidy beats Chris Jericho after "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith passes a roll of quarters to Jericho only for Orange to use it against him.



In backstage footage from last week, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC state that they have not heard from Wheeler Yuta, and tells him to come to work as they have a Trios title defense next week. Claudio says he is not mad, just disappointed, as he thought he taught him better. He says Wheeler is old enough to make his own decision, but asks Wheeler to show up for the match. Jon Moxley shows up with "The Problem" Marina Shafir and says Wheeler has the strength to do the right thing and that he has a choice to make, and tells him that he is not trapped, then asks what kind of man Wheeler Yuta has truly become.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Wheeler Yuta. Wheeler admits he is conflicted due to recent events, but he has worked his entire career for an opportunity like this, then confuses Grand Slam with WrestleDream before a backstage hand hands him his Trios Championship belt. Wheeler says that one does not change because others around them are changing and that he is a fighting champion, and if The Blackpool Combat Club are defending next week, then he will do what he has to do.

Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) guests on commentary for the next match.

Hook beats JD Ink with Redrum. After the match, Hook and Roderick Strong have a staredown on the stage with security guards standing between them.



Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy). Isiah Kassidy says that if The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC)wanted a fight, all they had to do was ask, then dares them to put the Trios titles on the line next week. Kassidy tells Jon Moxley that if he wants a war, then he should make Private Party their first battle.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Killswitch, Mama Wayne). Christian Cage says he could talk about himself all day long, but mentions "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne's upcoming match with Rocky Romero and says that this is a launching pad for Wayne, as the two of them will be holding titles at the same time. Christian brags about Jon Moxley not having the contract that he has, then Nick Wayne confronts Kip Sabian, as does Christian, who threatens to put Sabian in the dirt if he sees him again.

Queen Aminata and Yuka Sakazaki beat Serena Deeb and "The Glamour" Mariah May by disqualification after Mariah May hits Yuka Sakazaki with the AEW Women's World Championship. After the match, Mariah May briefly continues to attack Yuka Sakazaki with the championship belt.



We hear from Mina Shirakawa, who says that she has not heard from "The Glamour" Mariah May in months and that Mariah has changed, even though she will misses her. She says they could have more good times and in her heart, she wants Mariah. Mina then announces that she is coming back.

We see a video package of the history between Nigel McGuinness and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson.

Jon Moxley and "The Problem" Marina Shafir head to the ring. On their way there, they are attacked by Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy). Claudio Castagnoli also shows up and hits Marq Quen with two choke slam backbreakers in the middle of the ring while Moxley and Shafir beat up Isiah Kassidy. All of a sudden, Komander is in the ring, and he drop kicks Claudio Castagnoli off the ring apron when Claudio notices, but gets knocked out of the air during a tope suicida with a European uppercut. Shafir takes down Alex Abrahantes and takes the microphone out of his hand as Jon Moxley pulls out a tool box and grabs a hammer. Moxley says he could end Private Party's careers for their actions, but he will not do that. He says that Private Party have been in AEW for five years and have been in the exact same spot, then tells him that he will give them what they have been missing before hitting Kassidy in the hand with a hammer as he is held down by Claudio and Shafir. As Moxley walks down the ramp, he is attacked from behind with a skateboard by Darby Allin. Moxley gets Darby in the ring, and both men stare each other down while Shafir holds Claudio back. Darby wings at Moxley with the skateboard, but Moxley bails out of the ring. Darby says he is not the same man Moxley faced five years ago and that he will run through him at Grand Slam on his way to becoming the next AEW World Champion.

We see a video package for "Scapegoat" Jack Perry.

Ricochet beats The Beast Mortos.



We see a video package chronicling the the feud between "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Hangman" Adam Page in the ring. Hangman says he has watched and listened for a long while as he knew a day like this would come when Swerve Strickland would be done with and gone. He also says that it would not just be Swerve who would pay, but those who stood behind him, protected him and supported him. Hangman says he is surrounded by these kinds of people who would cheer Swerve for winning a championship, defending it, and being locked in a cage with his fate, and when he hears those voices, he is reminded of his suspension when he heard those voices. He then says he has heard another voice cheering Swerve on loudly and clearly from the commentary desk: Tony Schiavone, who he almost corners before Jeff Jarrett shows up. Hangman attacks Jarrett as soon as Jarrett rolls into the ring, and security and referees have to run in to restore order. Jay Lethal also has to show up to hold Jarrett back, as does Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt and Karen Jarrett. Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt and Karen Jarrett also show up. Jarrett says he will not let Hangman lay a hand on Tony Schiavone, and that there is a locker room full of people who want to beat him up and that he is at the front of the line. Jarrett also says that he is going to kick Hangman's ass even if it is the last thing he ever does in his career.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Ricochet when Will Ospreay shows up to have a word with him. Ospreay welcomes Ricochet to AEW as he says things have been heated between them, but Ricochet says he has thought about Ospreay's words and that everyone is more worried about him than Ospreay. Ricochet then tells Ospreay that at 5-Year Anniversary, he will face him for the International Championship. He says they have had matches that have changed the landscape of professional wrestling, and while Ospreay is on another level, he is on another world, and Ospreay will find out very soon.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Will Ospreay and The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita) beat The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) in a trios match. After the match, The United Empire theme plays, and Takeshita still refuses to settle his differences with Ospreay, much like during the match.

Collision Course - Collision recap for September 14, 2024

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry retains the TNT Championship against "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. After the match, Jack Perry says people who do not like him are the people who cannot handle the truth as he makes his way back to his van.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Wheeler Yuta, who says that out of respect for "The American Nightmare" Bryan Danielson and his family, he does not want to share too much and that Danielson is doing the best he can. He also says he has not talked to The Blackpool Combat Club. He says that Anthony Henry is one hell of a competitor who is pretty tough and not to be taken lightly, then says he will try to channel Danielson's energy tonight.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods) are teaming with The Beast Mortos because The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy) have been a thorn in their side for the past two months and they have used Ariya Daivar's cash to stick two horns up theirs. He also says that they have decided to do a team building exercise where when they say "Athletes," the fans say "Rule," but the fans say "Suck" instead.

The Congolomeration (Mark Briscoe and Kyle O'Reilly) and Hologram beat The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) and The Beast Mortos in a trios match. After the match, The Beast Mortos goes on the attack, and Mark Briscoe has to hit him with the ROH World Championship before he and O'Reilly can clothesline him out of the ring.



We see footage of AEW stars at a recent CMLL show.

Backstage, Renee Paquette is about to interviews Orange Cassidy when he is attacked by "The Redwood" Big Cass and has his head covered with his backpack by "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith. "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho then smacks Orange in the head with the picture frame with the photo of best Friends, then says he will see him on Dynamite.

We see Stokely Hathaway watch DVDs of recent tag team matches in AEW.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mariah May, who says that she will not be holding her championship celebration in Dayton, Ohio, and that she has always had the best times with Mina Shirakawa before bad things just happened and she needed her, and says she cannot celebrate without Mina. Suddenly, Yuka Sakazaki shows up wanting the AEW Women's World Championship, and Mariah May tells her to get in line so she can rip her head off. Yuka then says "Okay! Bye bye!" and leaves, much to Mariah's irritation.

Wheeler Yuta beats Anthony Henry by submission with the Cattle Mutilation after Anthony Henry mocks "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and gets annihilated.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Queen Aminata and Serena Deeb. Serena thanks Aminata for her time and says that Aminata has a lot of potential, but is still not ready. However, she says that she is very forgiving, and she knows where her locker room is. Aminata says she has no time for this and that she has a match tonight, but Serena asks her to let her show her how it is done.

We hear from Anna Jay, who says that she has been in Japan being the best that she can be, and now she wants more. She wants a shot at the AEW World Women's Championship and also wants to face Mercedes Moné, and dares anyone to try her.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) and Komander beat Jon Cruz, Lord Crewe and Wren Jones in a trios match.



We see a video package chronicling the rivalry between Nigel McGuinness and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson after McGuinness says that his match with Danielson has been created only out of speculation and that Danielson will not show up only because he is scared of him. McGuinness says Danielson is a physical wreck, and while Danielson will still be the AEW World Champion, he will end his career if he shows up.

"The Glamour" Mariah May guests on commentary for the next match.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Serena Deeb, much to the chagrin of "The Glamour" Mariah May, who belittles Yuka throughout the match. After the match, Mariah May attacks Yuka from behind, and when she goes for Storm Zero on the stage, Yuka blocks it and kicks Mariah in the head. Afterwards, she looks at the Women's World Championship before handing it to Mariah.



We see a vignette of The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) working out.

Backstage, Top Flight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Leila Grey), Action Andretti and Lio Rush are outside of the building. Andretti says they all have so much potential, yet they have been losing as of late and all they are talking about is the food they just ate, which Andretti throws at a nearby production truck. Leila Grey says they need to get it together, and Andretti agrees, walking away.

The Bang Bang Gang ("Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) beats Cage of Agony ("The Machine" Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) in a trios match.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Serena Deeb when Queen Aminata shows up, asking if that is how it is done before walking off.

Queen Aminata beats Robyn Renegade. After the match, Aminata is attacked from behind by Serena Deeb, who puts her in the Serenity Lock. Multiple referees show up to restore order.



We hear from The House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, Brody King). Buddy Matthews says everyone wants a piece of them, and while Malakai Black says their chances are 50-50, Brody King says it is more like 80-20. Buddy then says "Come one, come all."

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) with a Sharpshooter from Dax to Drake. After the match, both teams continue to fight after Gibson goes on the attack, and The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) show up to fight The Grizzled Young Veterans and clean house. The show ends with FTR and The Outrunners having a Predator-esque handshake.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for April 25, 2024

Isiah Kassidy beats Komander.

In backstage footage from Dynasty, we hear from Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn). "Switchblade" Jay White says that Bullet Club has fulfilled their destiny, and Austin Gunn says that the extra weight on their shoulders prove that they run the trios division. Colten Gunn says they are three of the world in the world.

Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti beat The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) in a six-man tag match.

Anna Jay beats Allysin Kay with the Queenslayer.

Backstage, Athena holds an Minion Empowerment Meeting with Billie Starkz and Lexy nair. Athena says that Red Velvet and Queen Animata took her moment at Battle of the Belts X and proved that she is just a piece of "hot porcelain hussy garbage." Billie Starks says that Red Velvet is mad that she has yet to beat her. After Lexy Nair says that they have unfinished business, Athena challenges Red Velvet and Queen Aminata to a tag team match.



Johnny TV beats Will Austin.

Brian Cage, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun - no longer called The Mogul Embassy - beat Manders and Beeftank (Beef and Calvin Tankman) in a six-man tag match.

We hear from "Smart" Mark Sterling, who talks about how Ari Daivari - now known as Ariya Daivari - spent his money on only the best in order to become the best. Backstage, we hear from "Smart" Mark Sterling and The Premier Athletes. Sterling says Phase 2 is a success and that the message has been sent, but he did not think it would be sent to some of the best in ROH and that it would take six men to face off with them. He says that The Premier Athletes are at their best, and while it was not personal with The Embassy, they were in the line of fire and part of a long list of people who were not deserving of opportunities that belonged to them.





Yuka Sakazaki beats Leila Grey.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Cole Karter and Griff Garrison. Garrison is holding Serpentico's mask. Karter says they keep getting opportunities, but they keep failing. Maria Kanellis-Bennett shows up and says they could have done better, then says every loss is an opportunity and that both of them gained experience. He says that everyone is jealous of what Karter and Garrison's good looks, but they will eventually be jealous of what they do in the ring and they will win the ROH World Tag Team Championships.



Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) beat The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) in a Proving Ground Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, we hear from Red Velvet and Queen Aminata. Red Velvet says Athena is stirring up the pot and that she is done with her, and dares Billie Starkz to bring it on if she wants to hang with the big girls and handle big girl business, saying she has beaten her twice and will beat her again like her mother never did, as she rolls with royalty, not minions. Aminata says she feels sorry for Athena after saying she will drop her on her head again and again because she does not respect her as a champion. She says Athena has no honor and that nobody known more about onor than her. Red Velvet says she is looking for a fight and asks Aminata if she is looking for the same, then the two of them proclaim that it is time to cook, eat, leave no crumbs and take out the trash.



Taya Valkyrie beats Laynie Luck by submission.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Infantry ("The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora). Shawn Dean says that since they have been in ROH, there have been targets on their back. As Carlie Bravo brings up the teams they have been facing, The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) show up and brag about the roll they have been on lately, saying that they may not have targets on their backs, but they do have scud missiles. The Infantry notice that The Outrunners are wearing camoflauge and accuse them of gimmick infringment again, and this leads to a match between the two teams.



Lance Archer and The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) beat Jon Cruz, GPA and Ren Jones in a six-man tag match.

Abadon beats Nova.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie. Johnny and Taya talk about the success of Johnny Loves Taya on All Elite Wrestling's YouTube channel and the potential awards they will win when Aaron Solo shows up and says they would win more awards if he was on the show, and Johnny TV accuses Aaron Solo fo not supporting the show when Taya reminds him that he did retweet them. Aaron Solo brings up their time in QTV, saying that "Johnny loved Solo" before he loved Taya, but Taya says Solo is a loser and that they do not associate with losers. Johnny TV brings up Aaron Solo's name being spelled "Solow" before telling him to win a match. Solo says he will win a match next week to prove that he is "TV ready." Johnny and Solo then try to literally get in the last word.

They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for April 20, 2024

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that things got more interesting with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship being put on the line on Dynamite for the first time ever next week, and that he likes playing the game when the stakes are high and the clock is counting down to zero with no room for ever. Moxley says he was born for these moments, then questions what would happen if Powerhouse Hobbs were to shock the world and beat him for the title. He then asks if Don Callis has been where Powerhouse Hobbs has been, then says he has, and that he will be in the ring with Hobbs, not Don Callis. Moxley states that he always knew Hobbs had something, and says that if Hobbs has not found that thing inside of himself that he has talked about in the week he has given him, he will find it for him when he shows him who he really is and it will be a very bitter pill to swallow. Moxley then advises Hobbs not to hesitate for one second, because he will not.

Rob Van Dam beats "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson, Isiah Kassidy and Komander in a High Flying 420 Elimination Match. Isiah Kassidy eliminates Lee Johnson after grabbing the tights on the schoolkid pin. Rob Van Dam raises Komander's hand after the match.



Yuka Sakazaki beats Emi Sakura.



In a TV exclusive, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker heads to the ring. He says that the last year has been a whirlwind personally and professionally, and a few months ago, he had to walk away from his mentor and lost family and friends, but gained the love of his life along the way. However, because of some of his actions, he lost his love, too, and going into last week's match, he says it was a must-win and that all he had was beating Zak Knight, and he lost. As a result, Parker said he had a lot of thinking to do when he returned home, and all he wanted to do was make his father proud, and while his father is no longer around, he feels that he has. He also realizes that after the last year, he does not have much left to fight for. Before he can announce his retirement, Ruby Soho suddenly shows up. She says that she cannot let Parker do this and that it breaks her heart to hear him say that he has nothing left to fight for, as he has something important to fight for. Ruby then tells Parker that she is pregnant, and that it is really soon and that she disappeared and didn't know how to tell him, but Parker almost immediately kisses her in celebration.

After the match, Kyle O'Reilly tells Roderick Strong that he has 24 hours, because after that, he will rip off his arm, smack him around with it and leave Dynasty as AEW International Champion.

Collision Course - Collision recap for April 6, 2024

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) to advance to the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament finals at Dynasty.



We see a video package for "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, directed by The Young Bucks (Matthews and Nicholas Jackson) and narrated by Nigel McGuinness.

PAC beats Encore Moore with the Brutalizer After the match, PAC says he is done waiting for opportunities that he deserves, and that he will now take matters into his own hands. He says he is on a mission to show everyone who he is: the best professional wrestler in the world. He then calls out "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada to see if he can survive him, because he says he cannot, and says that he eagerly awaits a response.



Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. Danielson says it has never been about proving he is better than everyone else, but to see how good he is in relation to himself. He says that one is in a constantly revolving wheel of evolution, and that he is not the same now as he was when he was 21. Danielson says that it all about testing himself, and while he knows the fans will enjoy his match with Will Ospreay, fan reaction is not exactly why he does it.

"The Lionheart" Chris Jericho and Hook beat Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty) with a Lion Tamer from Jericho to Moriarty. After the match, Anthony Ogogo, who has not been seen in AEW for some time, attacks Jericho and Hook, and Shane Taylor Promotions joins in. Taylor and Moriarty eventually hold Jericho down so that Ogogo can knock him out, then the three of them drape the Shane Taylor Promotions banner on top of Jericho.



We hear from "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, who says he hears that he is underappreciated, and says that those people are right. He says that for 36 years, he has stood across every person imaginable. He says that he remembers seeing Dusty Rhodes bring home the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for the first time when he was a kid and thinking that he would become a world heavyweight champion. he says he has not accomplished this goal in 36 years, and while Samoa Joe is under no obligation to face him, he wants a chance at the AEW World Heavyweight Championship next week on Dynamite. He says that if Joe defends the title, he will not regret it, but warns him that he is scared of no man and that Joe is no different.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Will Ospreay. Ospreay says everyone in AEW is a bit quicker and he is trying to keep up, and that he is more used to the Japanese style, which is why he is comfortable facing "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. He says that while it is an honor to wrestle Danielson, he does not very this any differently from any other match. Ospreay says that this "the best of all time versus the best of the 21st century" in a company where wrestlers wrestle.

The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) beat "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal and "The Outlaw" Bryan Keith in a trios match. After the match, Adam Copeland heads to the ring, but he is overpowered by The House of Black until Mark Briscoe and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) make the save. Suddenly, The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) show up, and they brawl with FTR on the stage before Copeland hits Brody King with a chair works together with Mark Briscoe to take out Buddy Matthews. When Malakai Black gets back in the ring, FTR, Copeland and Mark Briscoe are in the ring, and he flees. Matthew ends up in the ring, and FTR almost get their hands on him before Nicholas pulls him out.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Azucar" Rocky Romero. Romero says he has won championships all over Mexico and Japan, but has yet to do so in AEW. He wants an AEW International Championship Eliminator Match against Roderick Strong, and says there is nobody more international than him. Undisputed Kingdom shows up, and Roderick Strong says Romero's chances at beating him are "at 1%" and that he will be able to tell his grandchildren that he got beaten by a wrestling legend.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Lionheart" Chris Jericho and Hook. Jericho says he is pissed off after the beatdown that they got, then says that he and Hook welcome the challenge. Jericho says that they may not have a third man, but Hook says he does: Katsuyori Shibata, who says he will have Hook's back and that Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo) are going down.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Trish Adora. After the match, Serena Deeb shows up and applauds Yuka for winning.



We hear from "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia. Menard says Garcia has barely begun to scratch the surface on his career and got a big win last night, and now the two of them want more. Garcia says he is not a young boy anymore, and that he motivated by those who are in the full prime of their career as they are some of the best wrestlers that he has ever seen in his entire life. Garcia proclaims that it is time to insert himself into conversations about who the best of all time are, and tha the two of them are here for more and are coming for more.

Claudio Castagnoli beats The Butcher.



We hear from Julia Hart, who says that the TBS Championship is here and that one should address her to address the championship. she is glad that Willow Nightingale can look back on her past and be glad she made fans smile ear-to-ear, then tells her that smiles disappear, that the end of their story is near and that she will beat her again. She also says that Mercedes Moné is wasting her time, then dares he r to roll the and that she will be "the forever face of TBS."

Backstage, we hear from Samoa Joe, who says that the biggest obstacle of being World Champion is managing perception and that how people perceive the champion as well as themselves. He says that some people have jilted perceptions, then states that "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes' words have not gone unheralded, for he forgot how to get what he does not have and does not possess a fear of him, which he needs to survive. He says Rhodes does not deserve a title opportunity, but he will give him the fight that he wants, and if Dustin wins, he will become a contender. He then says Dustin will learn that pain comes to those who utter his name.

Penta el Zero Miedo beats Komander. After the match, Adam Copeland shows up, and he and Penta have a staredown.

After Dark Elevation - AEW Dark Elevation recap for February 13, 2023

The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) beat El Dragon, El Cobarde and Vary Morales in a trios match.

Backstage, Matt Hardy apologizes to "All Ego" Ethan Page for losing their Trios titles match and takes responsibility for the loss. Ethan Page says that a camera will not cause him to care about what the fans think or to take it easy on Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy says that he is making this apology in front of the world he did not want this to happen, and that Ethan Page has motivated him to turn back the clock and focus on wrestling first and foremost, and that he has never tagged with someone like him, and mentions that the two of them are good fathers and have a decent fashion sense before gifting him with a shirt. Ethan Page is convinced to see how far their partnership can go, but reminds Matt Hardy that he is still his boss.

Big Bill beats Gino Rivera (known as "Gino" here).

The Baddies (Jade Cargill and Leila Grey) beat Dulce Tormenta and DD Doom. Jade Cargill is 52-0.

"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Jastin Taylor.

Before the next match, Vickie Guerrero is cheered on the way to the ring, with the fans also chanting for Eddie Guerrero.

Emi Sakura and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beat Skye Blue and Madison Rayne.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Vertvixen. After the match, Yuka is attacked from behind by Athena, who then traps one of her legs behind the ring steps before hitting the steps with a running drop kick.

The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard) beat The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate).

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Smart" Mark Sterling, "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and Ari Daivari. Sterling talks about last week's Dark Elevation being the highest rated of all time, then says The Blackpool Combat Club (Cesaro, Wheeler Yuta, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) has been a thorn in his side. Tony Nese asks what makes Cesaro so strong and says that he can swing twenty guys around, then Ari Daivari asks if The Blackpool Combat Club is even a thing anymore and that they have no chance.

"Rock Hard" Juice Robinson beats Jake Crist.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) beat Renny D, Matt Brannigan and Crash Jaxon in a trios match.

Yuka Sakazaki beats Billie Starkz.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) when The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver) shows up and invites them to join The Dark Order, then hand them a contract and tell them to think it over. The Boys eat the contract instead.

Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta) beats Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico) and "The Reality" Zack Clayton in a trios match. After the match, Orange Cassidy performs his trademark kick on Angelico, then Danhausen hits him with a low blow.

Powerhouse Hobbs beats Corey Calhoun.

Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) beats The Butcher and the Blade.

Diamante, Emi Sakura, "The Problem" Marina Shafir and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beat Madison Rayne, Skye Blue, Queen Aminata and Hyena Hera in an eight-woman tag match.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says that there is a law in Ohio which says one cannot fish for whales on Sundays, which is unfortunate for bachelors because it is one less day to pick up Ohio women. He then says his teams' opponents are "a couple of Moby Dicks," then says "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese will slice them and Ari Daivari will dice them so they can have some caviar.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Lexy Nair interviews Athena, who takes the microphone and tells Lexy to leave when dissatisfied with her tag team partner for tonight. She soon runs into Diamante, who reminds Athena of the time she kicked her head in the last time they were in the ring when Athena asks her to be her tag team partner. Athena tells her that if they win, she will give her a future opportunity at the Ring of Honor Women's World Championship. Diamante accepts.

The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) beat The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry).

Rush beats Brian Pillman Jr., then continues to attack him after the match with a cable.

Yuka Sakazaki and Skye Blue beat Diamante and Athena.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says there is a law in Kentucky that states that every citizen must shower once a year, and that there are a lot of people in the crowd braking the law. He also announces that Ari Daivari has offered to purchase a bar of soap and that said bar of soap in under their chairs, then says that everyone who checked is guilty and that he has alerted the authorities.

Samoa Joe and Adam Cole share their memories of and experiences with Jay Briscoe.

We look back on Adam Cole vs. Jay Briscoe in a Fight Without Honor for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle 2014.

Adam Cole heads to the ring. Cole talks about how Jay Briscoe was one of the most incredible human beings anyone could ever meet, his memories of The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) being one of the best tag teams in the business and how some wrestlers had their best matches with Jay. He talks about how Jay Briscoe helped him find himself as a wrestler in Ring of Honor, and says he would not be standing in a wrestling ring today if it were not for Jay. Adam Cole also talks about how Jay changed the mood of a room for the better and how Jay was so grateful and wanted the best for everyone, as well as how much of a family man Jay was. He tells the Briscoe family that everyone loves them and that he is sorry, and that the family is one of the most grateful groups of people he has ever met. He then admits that Jay would smack him upside the head and tell him to man up and that they have a show to do if he were here right now, then says Jay loved awesome pro wrestling matches and a super-fired up crowd before getting the crowd fired up, then says that he loves and misses Jay Briscoe and that Jay made the world a better place.

Darby Allin beats Brandon Cutler with the Scorpion Deathlock. After the match, Allin gets a chair, but reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) get Cutler out of the ring. Allin tells O'Reilly that on Sunday, he will do to him what O'Reilly did to Sting: tear his leg apart.

Anna Jay beats Sandra Moone with the Queenslayer. After the match, The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Kiera Hogan) and "Smart" Mark Sterling show up to briefly stare down Anna Jay from the stage.

The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) beat Adriel Noctis, Gregory Sharpe and Matt Brannigan in a six-man tag match.

Riho, Yuka Sakazaki and Skye Blue beat "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose, Diamante and Emi Sakura in a six-woman tag match.

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, Rey Fenix) beats The Factory (QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solo) with a Brutalizer from PAC to Aaron Solo.

Before the next match, Isiah Kassidy says that since they are in Las Vegas, Nevada, he and Marq Quen need a reason to celebrate. He states that he has issued an open contract to anyone who is willing to challenge Marq Quen tonight. The challenge is answered by Johnny Elite.

Johnny Elite beats Marq Quen. During the match, referee Paul Turner is inadvertently taken out with a springboard kick by Johnny Elite that is met for Marq Quen. Quen and Isiah Kassidy hit Johnny Elite with the Snapshot, but Johnny Elite kicks out. It is not long before Johnny Elite takes out Isiah Kassidy and hits Marq Quen with the Starship Pain for the win. After the match, a man in a suit - who is actually Nathan Barnatt playing the character "Dad" - puts on Johnny Elite's suit and does a funny dance, and Johnny ends up dancing with him.
