Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for January 11, 2023

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Jon Moxley. After the match, it is apparent that Moxley may be injured. After the commercial break, it is announced that Moxley has been walked to the back and is being attended to.

Tony Schiavone interviews Adam Cole - who has not been on AEW programming in months - in the ring. Adam Cole says he has been thinking about what he was going to say when he returned tonight, then says that it is a "good news, bad news" situation. He says the good news is that he has a new appreciation for the business and for life, as he has done a lot of cool things as a pro wrestler and he has missed being in the ring due to being really banged up and having two serious head injuries. Cole says that he was seeing doctors multiple times a week, had a lot of dizzy spells and could not be in a car for more than fifteen minutes, and that he had no idea what was happening to him. He then says that so many of the fans were there for him and hoping for his recovery, and that it meant the world for him. He also says pro wrestling is a "give-and-take situation" where the wrestlers give their all and the fans show their appreciation. Cole then thanks the fans for being there for him for six months even when he was not able to compete. He then covers the bad news, which is for the AEW locker room, not him, because he is back. Cole says he is not going anywhere, and even when he thought his career was over, he was not done yet, as he has been "one of the best damn wrestlers on the planet" for 15 years and he will not stop until he is the very best. He says that he has not scratched the surface of what he is capable of despite doing a lot in AEW, then tells everyone to remember today as the day that "the new Adam Cole" was born and promised he would be at the top of the mountain in AEW.

We hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gun). Max Caster says that on Rampage, they will be in Hollywood, and Bowens says The Acclaimed have been given stars on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bowens says that their scissors will live in infamy forever.

"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Hook (billed as "Junglehook") beat Big Bill and Lee Moriarty with a Snare Trap to Lee Moriarty.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Orange Cassidy, Danhausen and actor Paul Walter Hauser. Hauser meets with Best Friends - including Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta, who also show up - and makes sure everything is okay between them.

Backstage, Renee Paquette tries to get an interview with The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson).

Before the next match, MJF shows up. He mockingly greets Konosuke Takeshita before stating that the fans see him as a big deal, even though he has not seen any of his stuff just because he watches himself. He then pronounces his last name as "Take a shit-a," before telling him not to take one in his pants and win tonight. Takeshita responds in Japanese, and when MJF tells him that "around here, we speak American," Takeshita tells him to kiss his ass. After a bunch of shoving by Takeshita, MJF has referee Aubrey Edwards hold Takeshita back before MJF mocks the fans and tells them to ask their mothers, sisters and "skank girlfriends" just how long he can last. MJF says he is "the real iron man of professional wrestling" as he is all about "pinning shoulders on mats and bangin' rats," then says that the fans are all irrelevant just like "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. He then reveals that actor Ken Jung is in the crowd, then makes fun of "Doctor Ken" getting cancelled, then also reveals that Freddie Prinze Jr. is in the crowd before saying he only remembers Freddie playing the sidekick to a CGI talking dog. After calling Freddie Prinze a "Scooby-Dooby-Douchebag," he says that Danielson will let everyone down tonight and that there will be no iron man match tonight, then Danielson shows up before MJF can finish. Danielson runs into the ring, and MJF makes a break for backstage in record time before telling Danielson he will not make it past the first week.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Konosuke Takeshita after kicking his head in prior to the Lebell Lock. Danielson raises Takeshita's arm and shakes hands with him in a sign of respect after the match.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, who says that he is in AEW to kick ass, take names and win championships along the way. He then challenges Darby Allin to a match for the TNT Championship on Rampage.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Jamie Hayter beat Toni Storm and Saraya. During the match, Hikaru Shida shows up, and near the end of the match, Shida slides a Kendo stick into the ring only for Britt Baker to hit Toni Storm in the back, much to the shock of Shida afterwards.

Backstage, Eddie Kingston tells Ortiz they have their match on Rampage. Eddie says he is tired of The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) as well as Ortiz's trust in him being questioned.

The Jericho Appreciation Society head to the ring. "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker says that they are looking good and that Los Angeles is their town to the point that they might as well be "the saints of Los Angeles," then "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard says that Jake Hager powerbombing "Absolute" Ricky Starks makes his nipples hard. Chris Jericho says this is one of the best weeks in The Jericho Appreciation Society's history, as they invaded Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Battle of Los Angeles and Anna Jay A.S. and Tay Melo will win their street fight on Rampage against Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale. Jericho then says that they win again with Action Andretti going back to the indies and "the Ricky Starks experiment" being over, then Ricky Starks and Action Andretti show up. Starks says he is looking at a group full of idiots who could not get the job done last week, then Jericho tells Andretti to go back to the minor leagues before Andretti tells Jericho to "shut the hell up" before he shoves his baseball bat up his ass. When Daniel Garcia tells Andretti not to disrespect Jericho, he says he does not remember Sammy Guevara giving him permission to speak, then says Sammy Guevara cannot control his own wife, much less Garcia, or where his wife's hands go. He says this is because last week, Tay Melo's hands were between his legs. Garcia tells Andretti to shut up, then says he was just like him but is now on top of the world now that he has Jericho by his side. Starks tells Jericho to move aside. Jericho moves aside, then Starks focuses on Jake Hager, making fun of his purple bucket hat and saying he was a top collegiate athlete before he joined Jericho and became "the village idiot" who still has "a dumb lisp." He then challenges Jake Hager to a match next week on Dynamite. Hager says he likes his hat, then says he wears a lot of hats and one of them says "undefeated professional MMA fighters" and that he will slap his face off of his face. Starks says he will do Starks one better by helping him with his speech impediment, as he is stepping in the ring with someone who is absolute.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) beat Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) in Match 7 of their best-of-seven series known as "Escalera de la Muerte," a ladder match, to become two-time AEW World Trios Champions!

New Year's Smash - Dynamite recap for December 28, 2022

Before the next match, Hathaway shows up wearing a hat and angry at "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson for making fun of his bald head. Also, MJF is in the skybox with a beautiful woman, and he taunts Danielson before the match, allowing Ethan Page to hit Danielson with a cheap shot.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats "All Ego" Ethan Page after kicking his head in prior to a submission, knocking Ethan Page out.

We see a video package for Samoa Joe vs. Wardlow for later tonight. Afterwards, Renee Paquette interviews Wardlow, who says that there has been too many words and that tonight is about powerful action before Wardlow attacks him with a pipe.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page, who says that there is no real update on his condition, but he finds out that he is doing well and that he may come back in two weeks if he does not get riled up by Jon Moxley again.

The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli) beat Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin).

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford and Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Danhausen). Kip Sabian says this has been going on for too long and that the final act where he takes the All-Atlantic Championship from Orange Cassidy. Trent Beretta reminds Kip Sabian that he eliminated him after Kip eliminated Orange Cassidy in last Friday's battle royale and that he is more deserving of a title shot, and Orange Cassidy agrees and gives him the title shot. Kip Sabian reluctantly says he looks forward to seeing it before leaving with Penelope, then Orange says the title match will happen on Rampage.

Hook quickly beats Baylum Lynx with Redrum. After the match, Stokely Hathaway shows up with Big Bill and Lee Moriarty and says that while he is repeatedly told Hook is a badass, he will not get the job done against them, as he is like "the Southwest of AEW." Before the three of them can get in the ring, "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry runs out and fights Lee Moriarty while Big Bill and Hook stare down in the ring. Big Bill goes for a choke slam, but Jungle Boy hits him with a 2x4 after taking Moriarty down. Big Bill is forced to retreat along with Moriarty and Hathaway.

We see a video package chronicling what has happened to Chris Jericho in the last few weeks. We then hear from Chris Jericho, who says "Absolute" Ricky Starts turned out the opportunity of a lifetime to join The Jericho Appreciation Society and mocked them instead, then calls him foolish, small-minded and a flash in the pan. He says Starks has the arrogance and the confidence of a superstar, but he does not have the tools to succeed that he does. He says that he will take Starks to the top of the mountain to the bottom of the ocean and back because he is Chris Jericho and he always wins. He brags about throwing a fireball at Action Andretti and tells Andretti to get out of AEW and back to the indies before saying he will beat Starks and put an end to "the Starks experiment."

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Swerve Strickland, Parker Bordreaux and his tattooed affilitate. Swerve says Keith Lee had to go, then Wheeler Yuta shows up and challenges Swerve to a match on Rampage after criticizing him for having to get some outside help to make a point.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) and Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero M, Rey Fenix) are seen attacking each other backstage prior to their Falls Count Anywhere match. Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) beat Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero M, Rey Fenix) in a Falls Count Anywhere Match in Match 6 of their best-of-seven series after Omega hits Fenix with a One-Winged Angel through a table as PAC has Nick Jackson in the Brutalizer and gets the pinfall victory before PAC can win by submission. Both teams are tied at three wins (3-3) apiece.

We see a music video from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) where they diss Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.

Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S. beat Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale after the referee is preoccupied with keeping Anna Jay from using a chair on the outside, allowing Tay Melo to kick a chair into Ruby Soho's head for the win.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn), who have reservations for a party. Colten says they will address their big win against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) next week.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks. Starks says he is feeling better than Action Andretti, who is the victim of a fireball to the face, and says he will get some revenge for him next week. He says that Chris Jericho is right about him being a star, but he is a star Jericho cannot control and that Jericho does not like that. He says he will beat Jericho and take him down several notches.

Before the next match, Samoa Joe says Wardlow is suffering from stage fright and will not be out here right now before Wardlow shows up with a limp while medical staff and officials tell him not to wrestle. Wardlow gets in the ring and wrestles anyway.

Samoa Joe retains the TNT Championship against Wardlow with the rear naked choke after Wardlow's left knee gives out before he can powerbomb Joe. After the match, Wardlow gets back on his feet, but Joe blasts him with the TNT Championship before looking underneath the ring, pulling out a toolbox and finding a pair of scissors. Joe shoves referee Paul Turner down before cutting Wardlow's bun and claims it as a trophy, then Darby Allin shows up from behind Joe and smacks him with a skateboard. Joe and Darby stare each other down from both sides of the ring as the show ends.

Holiday Bash - Dynamite recap for December 21, 2022

"Absolute" Ricky Starks heads to the ring. Starks admits that he lost last week and says it is on him because he should have known better against MJF, then says he lost like a man while MJF won like a coward, and he can stand with respect and dignity while MJF has neither as well as a pair of balls. He tells MJF to imagine what will happen next time, as he says there will be a next time between them. Starks says this is not the end of the road, but just the start, and if he has to work his way back to title contention, he will do it and become "the man" in AEW. Suddenly, Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia arrive. Jericho tells Starks he has been watching him for a long time and says that Starks did come close to become World Champion, then tells him he is not a dollar store version of anybody, but a million dollar talent, but he will be a world champion someday. Jericho then tells Starks that he is not just quite ready yet, and that while has everything it takes to make it in AEW, he just needs a little advice, guidance and Chris Jericho. Jericho also responds to the "Sammy sucks" chants by saying that if people says Sammy sucks, they see he sucks. He then asks Ricky Starks to join The Jericho Appreciation Society. Starks praises Jericho for being able to stay relevant and popular, then says Jericho went from being "built like an air fryer" to "looking like a dad on his fifth divorce," then admits the offer is tempting before rejecting it. Starks also tells Jericho that his stock dropped after losing to Action Andretti and that the J in "J.A.S." might as well stand for "jobbers." He then calls Sammy and Garcia "J.A.S.Hole #1" and "J.A.S.Hole #2" before saying they have not done anything, that Daniel Garcia lost the ROH Pure title, and that he could not care for Sammy Guevara before telling Jericho to suck his balls. Starks then challenge Jericho to a match on January 4th, then Jake Hager shows up from behind Starks and attacks him. Sammy and Garcia soon join in while Jericho directs traffic, then Action Andretti runs into the ring. Andretti ducks the baseball bat shot and takes out Jericho and Hager, and Starks is able to get back in the fight before Andretti hits Jericho with a split leg moonsault.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) beats Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix), brining Death Triangle's lead to 3-2 (three wins to two). After the match, Death Triangle viciously attack The Elite.

We see post-match footage from last week's show where MJF calls out "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, who he calls a nobody in his world for ruining his moment. He says everyone wants to ride his wave and eat off his place, but Danielson will eat less than he desires and more than he deserves during his reign of terror.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Action Andretti, who says that he did the unthinkable last week and beat Chris Jericho, and since then, his life has never been the same. He says that while he has gotten a ton of support, he knew The Jericho Appreciation Society would take their anger out on someone. As he talks about how they took their anger out on "Absolute" Ricky Starks, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard show up to compliment him. Angelo Parker says that Andretti is on a hot streak and is "on fire," then Andretti is hit from behind with a fireball by Chris Jericho.

Renee Paquette interviews "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in the ring. On the subject of William Regal's departure, he says he does not expect The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta) to forgive Regal for what he did, then talks about how he fought his first wrestling match in the nearby Far West Rodeo and how he was trained by Rudy Boy Gonzalez and Shawn Michaels. He then says that Regal turned him into the wrestler and the person that he is today. He says that while Claudio Castagonli and Jon Moxley do not have the same relationship he did with Regal, and that when Regal was in the hospital, he cried. Danielson says that Regal made him and so many other people better and has meant so much to the industry, and that he loved having Regal in AEW. He then says that Regal taught him that there are consequences to one's actions. Danielson then says that MJF needs to learn about said consequences, for he has heard every word that MJF has said and that there will be consequences for what he did to Regal and calling him a coward before calling MJF out. "All Ego" Ethan Page and Stokely Hathaway show up instead, and Ethan Page says that he should have been the one to win the battle royal and the AEW World Champonship, and that "Vegetable Man" Danielson is trying to jump the line. Stokely tells Danielson to go home, be a family man, shop at Trader Joe's and eat vegan snacks, then Danielson says that he couldn't hear a word that Stokely said before he makes fun of Stokely's bald head, asks him to grow some hair and shut up, and questions the use of "Vegetable Man" as an insult. Hathaway responds with "You raggedy bitch," then Ethan Page says he called Danielson "vegetable man" not because of what he eats, but because he will make him a vegetable if he jumps the line to the World title. Danielson dares Ethan Page to turn him into a vegetable right now, and Page says that while he has no problem taking his shirt off, the pants will stay on, and they can do it next week.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that the $300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios royale on this week's Rampage is right up his alley and that he will be there. He also says he and "Hangman" Adam Page can fight for as long as Page wants, but he wants to settle this in the ring. He then says there is nothing to settle after he knocks Page out and that it is not his fault that Page has a glass jaw, then says he is not a bad guy before telling Page not to become "a play wrestler." As for his opponent tonight, Darius Martin, it is not his fault that Darius is "injury prone" and that he will have to teach Darius a lesson tonight.

In footage form earlier today in Tampa, Florida, Samoa Joe wishes the AEW fans a happy holidays, then wishes Wardlow the happiest and merriest of holidays, because they both know he will not have a happy new year when he gives him more than he ever asked for. He then says that afterwards, he will take from Wardlow, then wishes him a happy holiday again before telling him the holiday cheer will end on December 28th.

Hook beats Exodus Prime with the Redrum. After the match, Stokely Hathaway shows up on the video screen with Big Bill and Lee Moriarty attacking "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and throwing him into a dumpster.

Jon Moxley beats Darius Martin.

We see a video package for Hikaru Shida vs. Jamie Hayter for the AEW World Women's Championship later tonight.

We hear from Powerhouse Hobbs, who talks about how he watched his uncle overdose from drugs and cough and vomit up his own blood at three years old and how he was beaten, robbed, stabbed and shot growing up. He says only monsters do this to a child and that they created a monster themselves, and that is time to spill some blood of his own in the next chapter of The Book of Hobbs.

The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) beat FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) after Austin Gunn grabs Colten Gunn's hand as he has Dax Harwood in a roll-up.

Sonjay Dutt makes fun of "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) while rapping over The Acclaimed's theme.

Tony Schiavone interviews Keith Lee and Swerve Stickland, with hip hop recording artist and mogul Rick Ross acting as a mediator. Keith Lee arrives first, then Rick Ross says history will be made today as business gets taken care before he introduces Swerve and says to Keith Lee "You're a big motherfucker." Swerve's music fails to play before Swerve shows up with a bag in his hand, complaining that this is being done on Keith Lee's time and that he will be doing things his way. Swerve says he tried to give Keith Lee the whole world and that they should own everything, then tells Rick Ross that he cannot deal with all the accusations before telling Keith Lee to keep his eyes on the tag team titles, his health and in the back of his head. All of a sudden, Parker Boudreaux shows up from behind Keith Lee and attacks Lee while dressed in the same shirt as Swerve. Keith Lee soon clotheslines Boudreaux over the top rope, then Rick Ross puts Swerve over as an icon and a legend. As Keith Lee approaches Swerve, he is soon attacked from behind by a man with a lot of tattoos over his body, and he too is an affiliate of Swerve. Keith Lee is then hit from behind with a chair by Parker Boudreaux. Parker Boudreaux and the tattooed man continue to attack Keith Lee as Rick Ross says it is time to make history, then lay him on the stairs so that Swerve can stomp a cinderblock through Keith Lee from the top rope.

We hear from some of the trios in the $300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios royale.

Jamie Hayter retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Hikaru Shida after Shida fends off Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. while Rebel distracts the referee. After the match, Britt Baker attacks Shida, then Toni Storm runs into the ring and takes down Rebel and Britt before Hayter hits her in the back of the head with the AEW Women's World Championship. Rebel and Britt hold Toni Storm, then Saraya runs into the ring and takes down Rebel before kicking Britt Baker in the face to end the show.

Winter Is Coming - Dynamite recap for December 14, 2022

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) beat The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) by submission in Match 4 of their best-of-seven series to lead the series 3-1 (three matches to one). During the match, Nick Jackson is taken to the back for a sprained ankle, but he returns near the end of the match, where Penta hits Nick Jackson in the ankle with a ring bell hammer and Rey Fenix makes Nick Jackson tap out to an inverted knee bar. After the match, Kenny Omega mentions that since Death Triangle have been using ring bell hammers the entire best-of-seven series, they might as well make not just the hammers legal, but all weapons. He says that The Elite is tired of playing by Death Triangle's rules, so they might as well make it so that there are no rules at all and demands the next match be a no-disqualification match.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews MJF, who congratulates "Absolute" Ricky Starks on last week's promo, then says he was already a star and was already hitting home runs while Starks became one last week. He says that he is the one who made Starks a star, not Starks or the fans, because he is "a star maker," then makes fun of Starks' life story and says that all that matters is whether or not one is AEW World Champion. MJF says that the fans only relate to Starks because they all suck, then admits that he was born better than everyone else before stating that he is under no pressure because he is already "The Guy" and everyone hates his guts and wants to see his downfall. He says he does not envy Starks at all, even as everyone wants him to win the AEW World Championship in his home state of Texas, which he says applies pressure to "The Pebble." He then asks if the pressure will turn "The Pebble" into a diamond or dust.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn head to the ring. On the way there, however, they are attacked from behind by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh and Jeff Jarrett. Max Caster tries to fight back against Sonjay Dutt, but Jay Lethal attacks him from behind and he is quickly surrounded in the ring. Lethal and Sonjay hold Caster down so that Jarrett can hit him in the head with his guitar. The crowd chants "Fuck you" as Jeff Jarrett asks The Acclaimed if they have their attention now before saying "Let's see you scissor this...slapnut!"

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Jericho Appreciation Society. Chris Jericho says the giant swing is barbaric and inhumane should be banned, and now he will take his anger out on a jobber in a tune-up match before his rematch with Claudio Castagnoli. He also says that Claudio as Ring of Honor World Champion is as much as a flash in the pan. Jericho also tells Daniel Garcia that he should never have lost the Ring of Honor Pure Championship and that he needs more guidance and experience, then asks him to shadow his elder Sammy Guevara and do as he says. Sammy says that he will beat Jon Moxley this Friday on Rampage. Jake Hager says that he likes his hat.

"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry beats "The Machine" Brian Cage with a roll-up after Brian Cage inadvertently clotheslines Prince Nana off the ring apron after Nana gets on the apron and keeps the referee from seeing Cage submit to the Snare Trap. After the match, Jungle Boy says that he wants "the biggest bitch of them all" after beating Luchasaurus and Brian Cage, and calls out Big Bill. Stokely Hathaway shows up and says seeing Jungle Boy's face pisses him off. He says that if he keeps it up, he will see the bottom of Big Bill's boot and the back of his hand, as Jungle Boy is "a little ho." As Jungle Boy confronts Stokely Hathaway, Lee Moriarty shows up and brawls with Jungle Boy so that Big Bill can hit a cheap shot. Jungle Boy soon gets tossed into the ring steps, and Lee Moriarty and Big Bill lay out Jungle Boy in the corner before Big Bill hits the choke slam. Suddenly, Hook shows up, and Hathaway, Moriarty and Big Bill retreat. Hook then extends his hand to Jungle Boy and helps him up.

We hear from The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta). Jon Moxley says they would make a statement at Final Battle, and that they did. He then says it is a small statement of what they can and will do. Moxley and Claudio put the locker room on notice for 2023, and Yuta says that to get what one wants, one must fight until they are dead. Moxley then says Sammy Guevara is gutsy enough to show up on Rampage when he will stomp his face in a bloody mess and leave him dead. Moxley also tells "Hangman" Adam Page that he knows where to find him, and that he can bring The Dark Order if he wants.

We see a video package of the aftermath of the break-up of Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland). Swerve tells Keith Lee he gave him everything he had, but Keith Lee threw it back in his face, and next week, they will have a face-to-face meeting. Swerve says he has no friends or family, only affiliates.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel. Britt Baker says Hikaru Shida will not beat Jamie Hayter and that Hikaru Shida is only famous for breaking her nose. Suddenly, Skye Blue shows up and says that Britt Baker may be good at talking, but she wants to see if she can wrestle as good as she can talk before challenging her to a match on Rampage.

In one of the most stunning upsets in AEW History, Action Andretti beats Chris Jericho in a competitive match, giving him his first win in his Dynamite debut after losing three matches on Dark Elevation and one on Dark earlier in the year. (After the match, it is announced by Tony Khan via Twitter that Action Andretti is officially part of the All Elite Wrestling roster.)

We hear from "Absolute" Ricky Starks, who says that he woke up knowing he is the man and that he has his shot against MJF tonight in his own home state. He says he feels as prepared as he was when he first stepped foot in AEW, and when he broke his neck, he wanted to make sure he stayed in AEW and became World Champion. He says eleven years of paying dues comes to a head tonight. Starks tells MJF that last week was nothing new to him and that he can be a star in his sleep, and that MJF has to find validation in himself while the fans care about him stomping MJF tonight. He says that MJF has no idea what it is like to have people support, and at the end of the day, he is a reflection of what MJF wishes he could, and that he will prove why he is "the coldest, most stylish MFer" anyone has ever seen.

We hear from FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Dax Harwood talks about the aftermath of their match at Final Battle and says that while The Gunns want to take away their shine, that will not happen. Cash Wheeler says The Gunns want to make a name for themselves after the most grueling match FTR has been in and want attention after having "daddy issues," and says The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) have their attention. Dax Harwood says The Gunns have their attention, and if FTR have to go through The Gunns to cement their legacy, they will do it.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is absolutely furious following his loss to Action Andretti.

Ruby Soho beats Tay Melo. After the match, Anna Jay A.S. attacks Ruby Soho from behind, then hits her with a Gory Bomb.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Page says that he was out for a minute back in October, and when he was taken to the hospital, he could not remember his son's name for an hour. He says he was in Hell, and if Jon Moxley wants to wrestle him, he will wrestle him, but he will go back to Hell with him.

Backstage, we hear from Dustin Rhodes and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Orange Cassidy, Danhausen). Dustin Rhodes says that on Rampage, they will fight The Butcher, The Blade, Trent Seven and Kip Sabian, and they will be damned if they lose in his home state.

MJF retains the Dynamite Diamond Ring and the AEW World Championship against "Absolute" Ricky Starks after using referee Paul Turner as a human shield to hit a low blow and pin Starks with an inside cradle.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 30, 2022

Jon Moxley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Moxley talks about how he grew up 90 miles from Indianapolis, Indiana and had his first matches in the city of Indianapolis, then says there are three certainties in this world: death, taxes and Jon Moxley. He says there is nobody who can outwork or outwrestle him and that he is at the top of the food chain, and that the AEW ring belongs to him. Moxley says there is not a man who is willing to look him in the eyes and tell him differently, then "Hangman" Adam Page suddenly shows up. Adam Page has a staredown with Moxley in the middle of the ring, and Moxley asks Page if he is sure he wants to do this after what happened last time. When Moxley asks if he even remembers last time, Page punches him out of the ring and all over ringside. Officials and security quickly move into place to stop the brawl, but Adam Page is briefly able to throw a few punches at Moxley again before he is pushed to the back. Moxley then breaks free, but he trips off the side of the ramp before going at Page. Both men are eventually moved to the back.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Dax Harwood with the Lebell Lock following a series of back-and-forth inside cradle pinfall attempts.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks. Starks announces that he will be in next week's battle royal and makes a judgment call that he will win it because he is coming for everything that MJF has, then says he will prove that he is "Absolute."

Backstage, Jon Moxley and "Hangman" Adam Page brawl again outside of the arena, and officials and security soon have to break up the brawl.

At the AEW soundstage in Nashville, Tennessee, Renee Paquette interviews The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, Daniel Gacia, Jake Hager), Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. After Matt Menard makes a yodeling reference, Claudio Castagnoli says it will mean a lot when he wins the Ring Of Honor World Championship when Jake Hager interrupts him. Claudio then says he is sick and tired of sit-down interviews and that he will beat Chris Jericho and leave. Wheeler Yuta then argues with The Jericho Appreication Society, says he and Claudio will have their tag team match with them, then he will beat Daniel Garcia for the ROH Pure title.

Samoa Joe retains the TNT Championship against AR Fox. After the match, Samoa Joe welcomes the fans to a new and glorious era, for he is the one true king of television. Suddenly, Wardlow shows up on the video screen and tells him to enjoy being king, for he is coming for what is his. He then tells Joe that this is his world, not Joe's.

We see another vignette for Powerhouse Hobbs in Oakland, California. Hobbs talks about how all of the experiences he had growing up made him tougher and how he will take back what is his as he intimidates some men playing a dice game and heads to the barber shop.

William Regal heads to the ring as it is announced that Jon Moxley has been removed from arena premises. In the ring, there is a sort of display case with a covering over it. Regal then introduces MJF to the ring, then tells the fans to shut up how his union with Regal came to be. He talks about how Regal sent him an e-mail after The Firm attacked him, and how Regal says he has grown weak when he could be a great villain. Regal said that MJF has potential, but if he wanted to realize it, he would have to grab the brass ring and not the Dynamite Diamond Ring. He then says they have met behind closed doors, and admits that Regal is a genius. MJF also says that using the brass knuckles was Regal's idea, as he wanted to leave an emotional scar when Jon Moxley remembered the day he was outsmarted by MJF. On the subject of The Firm, he admits that he respects them for attacking as soon as they saw a weakness, then says chasing people takes effort that is "for the poors." MJF then address the World title belt, mentioning his promises to replace the old with the new and says the belt makes him gag and needs an upgrade, as it is tacky and lacks class and reminds him of all the previous champions. He admits that they were all talented in their own right, but none of them are on his level. MJF then says the current World title belt design is garbage like the fans as he throws it down, and Regal reveals a brand new belt with a Burberry pattern on the strap. He calls it "The Triple B" - the Big Burberry Belt - and calls it the greatest world championship in all of professional wrestling because he is the man holding it, and says nobody deserves to be recognized as world champion except for him. MJF says that nobody that the fans push for, fake tough guys like Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks and fake wrestlers like "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson will never be champion, especially when Danielson could not wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag. MJF tells Regal that some people cannot be helped, and says that as long as he is in the company, nobody else will know what it is like to be on top, as he will be champion for a long time and at least until "The Bidding War of 2024." He says that he will then use the belt as a bargaining chip to make the most money and make more money than the fans will make in a lifetime, then says no one might win the bidding war as he is tired of looking at the fans and that Hollywood might win. MJF then admits that some people were over the moon when he won the World Championship, then he says their happiness will turn to resentment because they are fickle and will soon get tired of him due to all he does. He says that is great, because the fans will keep tuning in just to see who will take "Triple B" from him as he will wrestle and defend rarely, as he is a special attraction, and that people will have to pay for a pay-per-view to see him win. MJF reminds Regal that he made a deal with the devil, then tells him that the game has changed and leaves him with the same message to "show me your stuff" from years ago before leaving through the crowd. Doc Samson, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, officials and members of the medical team check on William Regal, who lies motionless in the middle of the ring, and Regal is placed on a board. Regal is then fitted with a neck brace, then taken out on a stretcher.

We see footage of William Regal being placed in an ambulance. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson joins Regal on the ride to the hospital.

Before the next match, Stokely Hathaway, Matt Hardy and "All Ego" Ethan Page show up. Matt Hardy brings attention to himself, then Stokely tells Matt to go to the back before Ethan Page says he will win next week's battle royal after Matt Hardy helps him win the whole thing. He then says that he will be the one to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring and beat "Absolute" Ricky Starks to win it all, assuming Starks makes it to Winter Is Coming. Ariya Daivari hits Ricky Starks with a cheap shot, but Starks hits the Ro-Sham-Bo for the win.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Britt Baker mentions the Pittsburgh Steelers' big win this week, then Jamie Hayter demands she have a sit-down interview after Britt mentions that Saraya has one on Friday.

Willow Nightingale beats Anna Jay A.S. despite the distraction from Tay Melo. After the match, Ruby Soho shows up as Anna Jay A.S. and Tay Melo try to leave. Ruby Soho shows up from behind Tay and beats Tay up, then knocks Anna off the apron. Tay hits Ruby with a forearm, but she takes it like it is nothing and catches up to Tay on the apron to hit her with Destination Unknown on the ramp.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews QT Marshall and Orange Cassidy. Marshall wants a shot at the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, and Orange Cassidy accepts immediately. Marshall then says he wants it in a lumberjack match on Rampage, to which Orange also agrees to before leaving.

The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Leila Grey) show up to the ring for a championship celebration. Jade Cargill says that she made The Baddies and that she decides who stays and who goes, and says that she got rid of the trash in Keira Hogan last week yet wants to know why Red Velvet and Leila Grey were hanging out with her last week. She says standing near her is a blessing and tells her to either get in line or step off, as she is the best wrestler and champion in AEW and she is the star, and that nobody has her star power or her aura. Jade Cargill says that she puts asses in seats and that she wrestles for "bad bitches," and that she is the real deal and she creates careers. As Jade says that Lil' Bow Wow is a joke, Bow Wow shows up on the video screen and says that he is done with touring and has a lot of time on his hands, then says it is on and that he cannot wait.

We hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn. Due to having no match on Friday, The Acclaimed are giving a tag team title shot to the second-best tag team in AEW on Rampage.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) beat Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) to win Match 3 of their best-of-seven series after Matt Jackson gets the knees up on PAC's Black Arrow to stack PAC up for the win. After the match, Kenny Omega says that there would be no clean sweep as long as he was around, then bids the fans a good night.

Thanksgiving Eve - Dynamite recap for November 23, 2022

William Regal is in the ring at the start of tonight's show, where he announces that we will hear from MJF next week, as MJF has no time to come to places like Chicago, Illinois and is on the set of a major motion picture. On the subject of the relationship between himself and MJF, Regal responds to the "Fuck you, Regal" chants with "So uncouth," then says he sent a private e-mail to MJF that MJF will explain next week. As he says that MJF will be here next week, Jon Moxley shows up. Suddenly, Bryan Danielson shows up and stops Jon Moxley from approaching William Regal. Moxley shoves Danielson in an attempt to get to Regal, but Danielson stays in front of him and says that all three of them have done bad things. He also says that Regal has a bad neck and two bad bleeds on his head, but when Moxley refuses to let up, Danielson slaps Moxley, apologizes, and tells him that his father had the same struggles as Moxley. He says that he did not understand those struggles at first and that Regal is the only person who could teach him about those struggles, and for the last ten years of his father's life, he was able to love his father because of Regal. Moxley tells Danielson to get out of the way, then stares face-to-face with Regal and tells him he wants only one thing from him: to run far away as he can right now and never come back. William Regal quietly leaves the ring as Moxley is distraught.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Keith Lee. Swerve Strickland suddenly shows up, and Keith Lee tells him to choose his words wisely. Swerve Strickland then covers the camera with his hand and says to Keith Lee "Let's talk."

Orange Cassidy retains the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Jake Hager after pulling the purple bucket hat off Hager's head to break the anke lock win with a roll-through after the casadora. After the match, The Factory shows up. QT Marshall says The Factory has unfinished business and that Orange loves giving out All-Atlantic title shots, then his mic cuts off and The Factory surrounds the ring. The arena soon gets dark, then Julia Hart pops up on the stage and The House of Black is in the ring. The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) attacks Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) and Rocky Romero, then attacks an applauding Factory. Security and other wrestlers run in to restore order, but they also get laid out by The House of Black. Buddy and Brody then hit a security guard with Dante's Inferno. Malakai Black takes the microphone and tells the House of Black to rise. The arena goes dark again.

We hear from "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry, who says that he and Luchasaurus shared a moment in their steel cage match that they will never forget and that he is glad that he won.

Before the next match, Stokely Hathaway introduces "All Ego" Ethan Page, and Page says that when Ricky Starks is left crying in the middle of the ring after their match, the fans can join him.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats "All Ego" Ethan Page to win the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament to face MJF for the AEW World Championship at Winter Is Coming.

We hear from Wardlow, who says that the reality of not being champion settling in made him angry, especially after watching the match back. He says Samoa Joe is not the dangerous man in the room and that he is still TNT Champion.

We see footage of The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Leila Grey, Kiera Hogan) confronting Bow Wow backstage at his concert in Miami, Florida. Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Jade Cargill, who says that she is not giving Bow Wow any more clout and that she is glad to have the TBS Championship and glad that Red Velvet is back. "Smart" Mark Sterling then shows up as Cargill's legal representation to say that Cargill has no comment, and as Red Velvet and Jade Cargill get ready to party, Sterling has Kiera Hogan sign a document stating she is fired from The Baddies.

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) beat The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) in the second match of their best-of-seven series after Matt Jackson produces a ring bell hammer only for Penta to produce a hammer of his own and nail Matt with it, allowing PAC to get the pin and the win. Death Triangle leads 2-0. (During the match, The Elite mock "Hangman" Adam Page with Matt Jackson landing in a sit down position while attempting a Buckshot Lariat, CM Punk with Omega mocking the GTS hand signal, and Ace Steel biting PAC on the arm.)

Renee Paquette announces that due to the extent of injuries to Thunder Rosa and the uncertainty of when she will be able to return to action, AEW has asked Thunder Rosa to relinquish the linear AEW World Women's Championship. She announces that Thunder Rosa is willing to step aside for the benefit of the women's division and AEW, then introduces the now-lineal AEW Women's World Champion, Jamie Hayter. Hayter shows up with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel, and Britt Baker says that Hayter is now the undisputed Women's World Champion and that the three of them never considered the word "interim." Britt then tells Renee to step aside so that the champion can walk to the ring.

Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. beat the team of Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue and the team of Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S. in a three-way tag team match. It is announced after the match that Toni Storm's interim Women's Championship reign will be retroactively recognized as an official reign.

Renee Paquette interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin). Dax Harwood says Top Flight may have had a string of bad luck, but they have impressed FTR, and asks them to take over tag team wrestling like they have. Darius and Dante Martin say that they have been impressed by FTR as well, and ask for a shot at the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship. Cash Wheeler accepts, then both teams shake hands.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn head to the ring. Bowens says it is glad to be back in Chicago, Illinois and boasts about The Acclaimed retaining the AEW World Tag Team Championships, his shoulder feeling better and Billy Gunn's hand being at 100%. Suddenly, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh and Jeff Jarrett interrupt The Acclaimed for name-dropping them during Max Caster's rap, and Jarrett says he will give Max Caster something to wrap about and tells The Acclaimed to watch their backs. As the crowd chants "TNA sucks," Billy Gunn demands that the four of them be taken off the video screen before he and The Acclaimed go for one more scissor in the center of the ring.

Chris Jericho retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against Tomohiro Ishii with the Walls of Jericho. After the match, Jericho confronts Ian Riccaboni, but Claudio Castagnoli shows up and punches Jericho out to end the show.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 16, 2022

The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) beats The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) with a Sharpshooter from Claudio to Jericho after Jericho swings his bat at Claudio only for Claudio to grab it and pose with it while still locking Jericho in the Sharpshooter.

We see a video package for the face-to-face meeting between Jon Moxley and MJF later tonight.

We see a black-and-white video of Darby Allin in a body bag. In the desert, a bloodied Darby Allin is picked up by Sting in a convertible, and Sting says "At Full Gear...it's showtime." Backstage, Jeff Jarrett interrupts Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh and says Full Gear will be Sting's last time.

Before the next match, we see the world premiere of "A Hand For A Hand" by The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens). Also, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn attacks Swerve Strickland before the bell and is sent to the back by multiple referees.

We see a video package for "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose vs. Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship at Full Gear.

Tony Schiavone interviews Samoa Joe in the ring. He says that it is not shocking that he attacked Wardlow, as Wardlow made it clear that he wanted his title and that he ran his mouth in front of the most dangerous man in the room, and that he refuses to be a victim like most of the fans in the building. He then says that he refuses to wait for the storm to hit, and that if anyone has a problem, they can take it up with him. Powerhouse Hobbs shows up and says he has been kicking Wardlow's ass for the last few weeks and threatens to kick Joe's. Joe dares Hobbs to get in the ring, then Wardlow's theme hits. Wardlow comes out from the crowd behind Joe and attacks him, then Hobbs goes after Wardlow. The locker room gets in the ring with members of security to break up the brawl. Wardlow soon lays out security, and The Dark Order stays out of Wardlow's way and let him do what he wants, which is to take out everyone outside of the ring with a Swanton Bomb over the top rope.

Backstage, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. says she was told four times that she did not have what it took to be a star, and in three years, she went from a "nervous, happy-to-be-here girl" to a courageous face in the company. She also says that she became a leader and her own role model, and that she took her own opportunities and became undeniable. She also says she wrestled in Daly's Place for a year when the fans could not show up. She also says that she respects Saraya for coming back from a neck injury, then says the business owes her nothing and that she will not let her belittle everything she has done because she is stuck in the past, for she is the heart and pulse of AEW. She then tells Saraya that if she thinks she is above that, then she can get the hell out, because AEW is her house.

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) retain the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championsips against AR Fox and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin). (The match is Darius Martin's first match in thirteen months following an ACL injury from a car accident, which was projected to see Darius Martin out until early 2023.) After the match, PAC asks the fans if they think Death Triangle are stupid and unaware of what is going on, then says that if certain individual think they can make their triumphant return at Full Gear and best them, it is ridiculous. PAC says that they are the Death Triangle, and dares all comers to bring the heat, as Death Triangle runs from nobody. Suddenly, it is revealed that The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) will challenge Death Triangle for the Trios title at Full Gear. PAC rejoices at the transparency, and tells The Elite that while they may think they are coming for Death Triangle, Death Triangle have been waiting for them.

We hear from "Absolute" Ricky Starks, who says that Lance Archer got one up on him and loves to attack people, then says they have a match this week on Rampage and that they can start backstage where he can rip Lance Archer's arms off and choke him with them. He then says that he will beat Lance Archer on Friday.

Before the next match, "All Ego" Ethan Page says he will walk through Bandido and become #1 contender for the AEW World Championship, and he does not care who is holding the world title because he will become the next World Champion.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews Saraya, who says that she feels fantastic and lucky to get back in the ring after being told she would never get in the ring again. She says she is tired of the back-and-forth between her and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., because she wants to be here and face the best and the best is Britt Baker, and she will see Britt Baker in the ring.

We see a video package for Eddie Kingston and Ortiz vs. Jun Akiyama and Konosuke Takeshita this week on Rampage.

Toni Storm beats Anna Jay A.S. with the Texas Cloverleaf. After the match, Jamie Hayter shows up with Rebel and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., and she and Toni Storm have a face-off. Both women argue, and Toni raises up the Interim AEW Women's World Championship.

Jon Moxley and William Regal head to the ring. Jon Moxley says the man makes the championship, not the other way around, and says that he is the best professional wrestler on planet Earth and "the baddest son-of-a-bitch in the game." He says that he has travelled the world for new challengers and has beaten his competition to keep the AEW World Championship, and that he is addicted to hurting himself as well as his opponents. Moxley says that nobody can hurt him because he does not care, then asks who MJF is. He then says after some scouting, he has found out that MJF is "a very good singer" with only one win in the last six months, then took a vacation and was handed a title shot. Moxley says that MJF wants everyone to see a "perfectly curated" version of himself and that the real MJF is full of insecurity and fear that he will not live up to the hype. He then says that at Full Gear, he will challenge MJF to show him that he has some guts and prove why he will become the future of the industry, then Stokely Hathaway shows up. The Firm rushes the ring, but they gang up on Moxley and Regal. Suddenly, MJF heads to the ring and lays out The Firm one by one. W. Morrissey goes for a choke slam but gets kicked in the groin, and Ethan Page inadvertently attacks Morrissey before MJF dispatches him as well. MJF tells The Firm to leave Connecticut before he takes his boot and shoves it up their ass, then tells Jon Moxley that he only saved him because he doesn't want his "pissant mark fan club" making excuses when he knocks him out. MJF says that when he got in the business, his goal was to be the best in the world, and while he is in the fight of his life at Full Gear, he is not the same kid Moxley faced in the first World title match and that no matter what Moxley does, he will not stop. MJF says he needs the World title more than he needs water, food and oxygen, because the man who holds the AEW World Championship is the best in the world, and it is his time. He says that he heard Moxley when he said that he is not the devil, then tells Moxley that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing everyone he did not exist, and that Moxley will find out that he is the devil himself. Moxley takes the microphone from MJF and admits he never saw what the big deal was about him before telling him that if he cannot find his guts, he will put them out of him, because on Saturday, the training wheels come off. Moxley and MJF then have a staredown in the middle of the ring, then Moxley bumps into MJF before heading to the back.

Title Tuesday - Dynamite recap for October 18, 2022

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) retains the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championships against Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta). During the match, PAC tries to cheat with the ring bell hammer again, but Fenix stops him and takes it away.

We see a video package for "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship later tonight.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Britt Baker says that all three of them are disgusted that none of them are AEW Interim Women's World Champion, and Hayter says that by the one of the year, one of them will be interim champion. Britt says that one of them will be Women's World Champion, and Hayter says "Toni Time" is over.

Toni Storm retains the AEW Interim Women's World Championship against Hikaru Shida. After the match, Jamie Hayter and Rebel come out of the crowd and attack Toni, then Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. arrives in a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey just before Saraya shows up and charges at her. Saraya and Britt brawl on the outside as Rebel hits Toni Storm with a crutch, and Saraya tosses britt over the barricade. When Jamie Hayter and Rebel realize what is going on, Riho shows up and takes down Rebel before sending Hayter tumbling out of the ring and hitting her with a top rope cross body on the outside.

We hear from WarJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe). Wardlow says that he has zero tolerance for disrespect, and says that they will physically hurt The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) however they can. Samoa Joe says they can have any title they want, but they have been given six million ways to die and they have chosen the wrong ones.

Backstage, Renee Pacquette interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Dax says all he and Cash ever wanted to do was be the best tag team of all team and while this year was a great starting point, they have a big target on their backs. Nevertheless, they want the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Cash says that they have had the best year of their careers, but at the end of the day, they have to be two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions or else they cannot live with themselves. Swerve In Our Glory (Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee) show up, and Swerve says they are deserving of the tag team titles, not FTR. Keith Lee agrees that they deserve a shot, and Dax Harwood gives them a shot at the #1 contendership for the AEW tag team titles next week, to which Keith Lee says "Indubitably." Swerve says "What?" and goes after Keith Lee after he leaves, then Dax Harwood mutters "It's FTR's house, bitch."

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Sonja Dutt, Jay Lethal and Darby Allin. Jay Lethal says he wants a rematch and that Darby's victory against him is a fluke. Darby says he beat Jay Lethal two weeks ago and that he will do it again and again as long as Lethal keeps asking for rematches, and Sonjay Dutt tells Darby they know his weakness after "a close, personal friend" told them, then calls Darby "a trash panda." Darby tells Marvez to leave, then shoves both Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt after Marvez leaves. Sonjay and Lethal then gang up on Darby, then Lethal slams him into a nearby sliding door and Sonjay traps Darby under it while Sonjay stomps on Darby and Lethal puts Darby in a Figure Four Leg Lock. Referees and security have to pull Lethal off of Darby.

Tony Schiavone interviews William Regal in the ring. Before William Regal can get more than a few words in, MJF shows up. Regal pulls out his brass knuckles, but MJF tells him to put them away because he is here to talk. Tony Schiavone leaves, then MJF then tells a story about how when he was nineteen years old and training at Create-A-Pro Wrestling Academy, Pat Buck and Brian Myers took him aside and told him that his hard work paid off and got him work as an extra in a WWE show. MJF packed his best gear and his best suit and drove off to the event, and he and the extras were put together and talked to by William Regal, who proceeded to tell them that they would have try-out matches before the show against random opponents. His match was second, and Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, Adam Pearce and Regal watched on as he fought for his life, as professional wrestling is his life. After the match, he was victorious, and everyone looked at him "like he had eight heads" until Regal brought him into a room and told him "You have three minutes to sell yourself to me...go." MJF says that by the time he was done, Regal told him he would get him a job. He realized that he would no longer be looked at like a superstar and not a "five-foot-nothing ADD-riddled Jew boy," but when MJF told Regal he was nineteen, Regal told him he was too young. MJF says his heart dropped and his dreams evaporated, and in one fell swoop, Regal resuscitated hope and said he does not put his name on many people, and when he comes of age, he would put his name on him. Regal then told him to go home, work his ass off, and send him a match and a promo every month. MJF says he busted his ass off and did just that, and Regal kept telling him he would be reviewing his progress. Regal then sent him a promo on the third month that MJF still has to this day, which is as follows: "Max, I'm a very, very busy man. I've got talent from all over the world to watch, and he just had to sit for minutes watching you 'show me your acting skills.' Do not reply to this, but how would this make me say 'Oh, I know, let's hire Max?" Make aname yourself in the wrestling world and you'll get noticed, and that means being a high-level performer. When you do, trust me, I'll know. Unfortunately for you, the game has changed, and WWE exclusively hires the best talent in the world to world-class athletes. When you're one of them, then maybe send me your stuff. Yours sincerely, William Regal." He accuses Regal of squandering his dream, and when he read that e-mail, he wanted to quit professional wrestling and life and made him want to kill himself. He then realized that if he did, Regal and all the naysayers would win and he could not have that. MJF then says the tables have turned, and Regal is nothing more than "a sad, withered old man who got fired" and have snuck into his company like a flea-ridden rat by sticking to talents far better than he ever was like a succubus while he is on top of the world as a generational talent. He says he is also the man who WWE would take several human lives just to get him to sign with them in the bidding war of 2024, and he tells Regal he reads that e-mail every day not to put a chip on his shoulder, but for a good, hearty laugh, as Regal is nothing more than a joke while he is about to become AEW World Champion. Regal talks about how he was having to fight men in a carnival at sixteen years old when he started, and says he did not cast him aside. He says he saw in him what he is seeing now and that he knew MJF would be a big star, and that he wanted to light a fire under his backside, as they live in a world where someone under twenty-one does not have to fight grown men and have their face caved in and have to go to bed crying with blood coming out of every hole in their body. Regal told himself he would not quit and would become a professional wrestler, and he says that if "a bloody e-mail" is what took MJF to get here and was what he held onto all these years, then MJF had it easy. He says that MJF had it easy, and that he has told him over the years what to practice. Regal says he has seen what an incredible talent he could be when he faced Wheeler Yuta, then talks about how he beat people up and insult Tony Schiavone in WCW and how he would never put a hand on Schiavone because he is an "ODV" - an "ordinary, decent villian" - and while anyone who steps between the ropes is fair game, MJF did not have to put his hands on Schiavone. Regal also tells MJF that he wanted him to be where he is now, as he knew he had it in him, but he let him down by taking shortcuts and has not proven anything to him yet. He says getting paid in AEW, making a lot of money, hiring people to do his work for him and knocking people out does not prove anything to him, and that he only used brass knuckles because he liked hitting people with them. Regal tells MJF not to take shortcut if he wants to be the Devil, and to make a name for himself by doing it right and beating everyone who stands in front of him, and that regardless of the liberties he must take with his opponents, he must "get to that place." He then tells MJF that if he wants to be the devil, he should prove it right now. Regal turns his back to allow for a free shot. MJF puts his ring on, but hesitates to hit him. Regal tells MJF he still has a lot to prove, then leaves.

Backstage, Renee Pacquette interviews The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn. Billy Gunn welcomes Renee to AEW, then says "Smart" Mark Sterling is trying to take away the phenomenon of "scissoring." Bowens says that on Rampage, it will be The Acclaimed vs. "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "The Technical Beast" Josh Woods and that they will get back to scissoring. Caster says that if Sterling wants to cool them off, he will find out that they are hot forever and that they will stomp him in the nuts.

In footage from earlier today, Renee Pacquette interviews Wheeler Yuta and Bryan Danielson. Danielson says it is never fun to lose a match, especially to Chris Jericho for the Ring of Honor World Championship, as the title means so much to him and the person and wrestler he has become. He says that he has a lot of high hopes for Daniel Garcia, as he sees him as a person who could surpass everything he has done after all he has done at a young age, and says that with the right guidance, he could be the best wrestler anyone has ever seen. Wheeler Yuta asks Danielson how he is surpsied with what happened last week, as he and Claudio Castagnoli saw what would happen a mile away and that Daniel Garcia is "like a snake" and is using him to get what he and Jericho want. He says that he thought bleeding for The Blackpool Combat Club meant something to him, Claudio and Jon Moxley, then says that he should not have met his hero as it means nothing to him.

In a match that also sees Jake Hager beat up Dalton Castle's boys for stealing his purple bucket hat, Chris Jericho retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against Dalton Castle. After the match, the rest of The Jericho Appreciation Society show up to celebrate with Jericho, and Jericho says that he will continue to desecrate the Ring of Honor legacy, including its commentators. "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard drag Ian Riccaboni out from the commentary table and hold him down so that Jericho can hit him with the Ring of Honor World Championship, then Jerry Lynn stops Jericho from carrying out the attack only to be kicked in the groin and hit with a piledriver on the Ring of Honor World Championship. Referees and medical staff check on Jerry Lynn.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Jungle Boy and the team of Luchasaurus and Christian Cage. Christian Cage says that Luchasaurus was the brains of the team, then says they are done with Jungle Boy and that is is about championship gold from here on out. He puts everyone with a championship on notice, telling them that reality will give them a bitch slap in the form of his "right hand of destruction" Luchasaurus.

Backstage, Leila Grey and Kiera Hogan are trying to find Jade Cargill. Jade Cargill shows up wanting to know where the TBS Championship is and tells them that "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose is not in the building. Kiera then tells Jade that she has found out that Nyla Rose will be at Rampage, and Jade says she will be there and demand the return of the TBS Championship. Jade tells Tony Khan to bring her the belt or she will hijack the entire show.

Jon Moxley retains the AEW World Championship against "Hangman" Adam Page by referee stoppage after Page is medically unfit to continue following a clothesline that turned him inside out. (After the show, it is announced that Page had suffered a concussion.) Early in the match, MJF is seen in the luxury box, but later on, he is not there. After the match, a gurney is brought out for Page, and Jox Moxley says he hopes and prays that Page recovers to 100% and can perform for everyone again, then says that this is a dangerous game and that one must have guts to play it. He says one must risk it all to play the game and put everything on the line every time one steps between the ropes to succeed in professional wrestling. Moxley then says he heard someone talking their shit and tells MJF that if he wants to prove he is who he says he is, then he can get his "suburban ass" in the ring right now. MJF shows up with referee Bryce Remsburg and the AEW Casino Battle Royal poker chip, and this leads to another AEW World Championship match. MJF teases cashing in by taking his shirt off, then rolls out of the ring, grabs a microphone and tells Regal that the fans know he is the man. He says that he will cash the chip in, but when he does, he wants Jon Moxley at "110%," so when he beats Moxley in the ring clean in the middle ring, there will be no excuses and no question that he is better than Moxley. MJF announces that he is cashing in at Full Gear, as for the first time in his miserable life, he is going to earn it. Moxley tells MJF that all he will earn is the heel of his boot in his mouth, his teeth going down his throat, his fist going up his ass, his throat getting squeezed until his head turns purple and pops like a Pez dispenser, and a date with destiny against him where everyone finds out what he is made of and that getting in the ring with him is "dangerous as all hell."

They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for October 7, 2022

The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) beat Rush and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) with a bicep slice from Wheeler Yuta to Marq Quen.

We see a video package for The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Preston "10" Vance) vs. Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) for the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championships later tonight.

"The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "The Technical Beast" Josh Woods beat The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.). After the match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says he has trademarked the term "Varsity" in professional wrestling and that Tony Nese and Josh Woods are more worthy of that name. Sterling says that Nese and Woods are to be known as "The Varsity Athletes" and that if The Varsity Blonds use the name, they will be sued. Sterling then says that his groin has been on fire since Wednesday, then The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn show up. Nese, Woods and Sterling retreat after Caster threatens to stomp Sterling in the nuts, then The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn scissor in the ring.

We hear from Eddie Kingston, who sarcastically apologizes for losing control at the end of his last match.

Tay Jay A.S. (Anna Jay and Tay Melo) beat Madison Rayne and Skye Blue with a Queenslayer from Anna Jay to Skye Blue.

Backstage, Mark Henry interviews The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Preston "10" Vance) and Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix). John Silver says Brodie Lee made them who they are, and Alex Reynolds says that they will win the Trios titles in their honor. PAC says that nobody can stop Death Triangle and that they will prove why they are the Trios champions.

We hear from Shane Strickland, who says that all he cares about is hurting Billy Gunn, and next week, Billy Gunn is done.

Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) retains the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championships against The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Preston "10" Vance) after Jose the Assistant distracts 10 and Silver as well as the referee so that Rush can hand PAC the ring bell hammer to hit Reynolds with, which PAC does.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 7, 2022

We see a video package of MJF's sudden departure and return from AEW.

We hear from Tony Khan. He announces that he has been forced to vacate the AEW World Championship and Trios Championships, and that new Trios champions will be decided tonight. As for the AEW World Championship, the new champion will be decided in a Grand Slam Tournament of Champions that starts tonight and ends at Grand Slam. Tony Khan promises that tonight will be a great night of wrestling and that AEW will be at their best for the next couple of weeks. (This comes after a very physical confrontation between CM Punk and The Elite [Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson] following incendiary comments towards The Elite from CM Punk at the All Out post-event media scrum.) br />

MJF heads to the ring. MJF declares "The devil is back!", then asks who is excited to see him, then mentions that the last time he was here, he said offensive things, then says everyone can agree that he did not mean it and that he loves AEW. He starts an "AEW" chant, then says that he didn't mean when he called the fans "stupid marks," as there is no MJF without the fans. He mentions the vacating of the AEW World Championship and says he knows one guy who deserves the championship. He says he is about working smart and not hard, and is avoiding the tournament thanks to the chip from the Casino Ladder Match. MJF also announces that Tony Khan is paying him "a load of freakin' money," and that if there is one thing that is known to be true, AEW is not in dark times and that he can provide the leadership AEW needs. MJF says he is not Moses and that he is "better than Moses," and that he will win the World Championship. Suddenly, Jon Moxley shows up and heads to the ring. Moxley tells MJF he is "absolutely full of crap," and MJF asks Moxley if he thinks he is not being completely honest in front of the fans, who he then trashes along with their football team after praising both just earlier. He then says that Moxley may have a point that he does not care about AEW or the fans and sees the World Championship as nothing more than "a bargaining chip for the bidding war of 2024." MJF also entertains taking the World Championship "to a real wrestling company with real wrestling fans" like WWE and work for "Jolly Old Saint Nick" Khan and Triple H, as it is "what is best for business." Moxley says this is not the time or place and commands MJF to leave the ring before he makes him leave. He takes off his jacket, and MJF unbuttons and removes his shirt. MJF has a brief staredown with Moxley before leaving the ring, and Moxley tells MJF his theme music sucks as he makes his way out before telling the fans he is pissed off and embarrassed about a lot of things, including not being champion. He says that while the championship belt is metal and leather, what is represents to him - passion for the support and the business by the fans and the wrestlers - is important. He says the championship represents a time when the world needed heroes and when people needed to know what wrestling could be, as well as the freedom to be as great as one can be. He also says that the championship represents being better today then one was yesterday among other things, and while he lost on Sunday and it is his fault, he has another chance to take the game-winning shot. Moxley mentions the other participants in the tournament, saying they are all better than he can ever be and that he is making "a hell of a shot," then says the winners always want the ball when the game is on the line and that he wants the ball. He says that he will take the shot, for this is not just the time to win, but the time to be a legend.

Death Triangle (Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, PAC) beat Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta) to win the vacant AEW World Trios Championships. During the match, it is announced that The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Stickland) will have a tag team title rematch at Grand Slam.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Dark Order. Suddenly, Jose the Assistant tries to get Preston "10" Vance to sign a contract, but Dark Order tells him to beat it. Andrade el Idolo and Rush show up, with Andrade el Idolo wanting to speak to 10, but Dark Order are not in the mood for them either.

We see backstage footage from All Out where Jamie Hayter does not want to hear any apologies from Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Toni Storm beats Penelope Ford in an Interim AEW World Women's Championship Eliminator Match.

We see a video package of the aftermath between the team of Hook and Action Bronson and the team of "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard. Action Branson challenges Parker and Menard to a tag team match at Grand Slam.

As The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) make their entrance, they are interrupted by Swerve Strickland, who gets called an asshole by the fans. Swerve says The Acclaimed as AEW World Tag Team Champions is a joke, then Billy Gunn cuts him off and tells Swerve this is his house, not Swerve's, and Anthony Bowens says that thanks to the fans, The Acclaimed has a tag team title rematch at Grand Slam and will be taking home gold.

Backstage, Tony Schavione interviews Anna Jay, Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo. Jericho says he is better than ever after beating Bryan Danielson, saying he found the fountain of youth that Ponce de Leon could not find and is drinking it in. He says the he is the best sports entertainer ever and that he will beat Bryan Danielson again on the way to winning a world title for the eighth time because AEW is his. Jericho also hypes up Sammy Guevara's tournament match with Darby Allin later this week on Rampage, and Sammy says that Darby Allin will get his "turtle lovin' ass" beat. Jericho mentions Daniel Garcia's match for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship tonight and says that he believes in him and knows he can win, but he is on his own after recent action. Sammy is preoccupied with everyone's abs.

Wardlow quickly retains the TNT Championship against "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese. After the match, "Smart" Mark Sterling gets on the apron, and as Wardlow grabs him for a powerbomb, Josh Woods runs in to save Sterling. Wardlow then mentions talk on the internet about him "losing it," then says he is the TNT Championship and that it is time to remind everyone that is his world.

We see a video package for Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara in the Grand Slam World Championship Tournament later this week on Rampage. Darby Allin says he will show up without Sting in his match with Guevara, and tells Guevara to do the same and come to the match on his own.

Bryan Danielson beats "Hangman" Adam Page after countering the Buckshot Lariat with a roll-up to advance in the Grand Slam World Championship Tournament.

We hear from Jungle Boy, who says that Christian Cage has only prolonged the inevitable and that when Christian comes back from surgery, he will take years off his career. He also becomes furious at Luchasaurus for turning on him after carrying his career on his back even when everyone thought Luchasaurus was a liability and a joke. Jungle Boy says a giant anchor has been released from around his ankle, and says that sometimes you have to move on from your past and sometimes you have to destroy it.

Stokely Hathaway shows up with "All Ego" Ethan Page, The Gunn Club (Austin and Colten Gunn), Lee Moriarty and W. Morrissey when a worker tells him he is low on time. Stokely grabs him by the shirt, demands respect, then punches him before The Gunn Club gang up on him. The Gunn Club then hold the worker down so that Morrissey can hit him with a big boot. Lee Moriarty looks into the camera and says "He got knocked the hell out!"

We see a video package for Dax Harwood vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the Ring of Honor World Championship this week on Rampage.

Westside Gunn performs as part of Daniel Garcia's entrance before the next match. Caprice Coleman and William Regal guest on commentary for the next match.

Daniel Garcia beats Wheeler Yuta with the Sharpshooter - now known as the Dragon Tamer - to become the Ring of Honor Pure Champion! After the match, Bryan Danielson heads to the ring. Yuta and Garcia shake hands, then Danielson takes the ROH Pure Championship so that he can place it around Garcia's waist personally. Chris Jericho shows up and shows legitimate concern as Danielson and Garcia talk before Danielson raises Garcia's hand, at which point Jericho is livid. The show ends.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for August 24, 2022

Chris Jericho heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Jericho addresses what is going on between himself and Daniel Garcia, whom he calls one of his favorite people, and asks Garcia to head to the ring. Jericho tells Garcia that he had "a classic match" with "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and that emotions and adrenaline had run high after Garcia's loss, and asks Garcia to apologize to him. Garcia tells Jericho that he knew how special that moment was for him and to share the ring with his hero Bryan Danielson for 30 minutes, and says it is the kind of wrestling match he dreamt of having as a kid and hopes another kid has that dream. On the subject of Bryan Danielson going for a handshake, he says that he did not care if he was called a wrestler or a sports entertainer and that Jericho ruined that moment. Jericho says that he is sorry he feels that way and that there will be more moments like that for him, for he is "the best technical sports entertainer" is the business and he wants to hear him say that he is a sports entertainer. Before Garcia can say anything, Bryan Danielson shows up and mentions Jericho trying to bully him into saying he is a sports entertainer, then says Garcia can be what he wants to be, that he respects their match and that Garcia is a wrestler. Jericho demands that Garcia state publicly that he is a sports entertainer, but Garcia says he cannot make that decision publicly with his mentor on one side and his hero on the other, and tries to leave. Jericho grabs Garcia by the arm, but Garcia turns around and shoves Jericho again. Garcia ultimately leaves, then Danielson says that while he is not the greatest fan of sports entertainment, he considered that entertaining. Jericho takes offense to Bryan Danielson being called the greatest wrestler in the world, saying he has not seen it once and that he knows more about wrestling than Danielson ever will after surviving the Hart Dungeon. Danielson then asks Jericho who Stu Hart or Owen Hart would have thought is the greatest wrestler between the two of them, then asks who would be the greatest if they had a match tonight. Jericho tells Danielson that if he wants that match, then he has it at All Out, and reminds Danielson that he choked him out and put him out for two months. He then tells him to watch his back, as he never knows when he will hit him. Danielson is suddenly attacked from behind by Jake Hager.

Jay Lethal beats Dax Harwood after countering a roll-up with one of his own and grabbing the tights. After the match, Sonjay Dutt tells Dax Harwood that at All Out, Jay Lethal will team with two close personal friends of theirs - The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) - against FTR and Wardlow at All Out.

Backstage, Tony Schiavione interviews Thunder Rosa, who tearfully announces that she must step down as AEW Women's World Championship due to injury and that an interim AEW Women's World Champion will be decided at All Out. She hopes that Toni Storm becomes interim champion and makes her dreams come true, then says that this will not stop her. Thunder Rosa says she will come back better and stronger with a chip on her shoulder.

Colten Gunn beats Billy Gunn with a low blow behind the referee's back and the Colt 45 after Stokely Hathaway attacks Anthony Bowens from behind at ringside before Austin Gunn does the same. After the match, Hathaway hands Austin and Colten two of his business cards, then attack Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) before Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) show up and chase Austin and Colten away. Keith Lee then helps Billy Gunn up.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) and United Empire (Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis). Will Ospreay mentions the draw from their last match as he states United Empire will win trios gold. PAC says Death Triangle have been waiting for this moment and that they will murder - not kill - United Empire as they find out the hard way that AEW is Death Triangle territory.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. beats KiLynn King with the Lockjaw. After the match, Britt says it a shame what happened to Thunder Rosa before stating that she wrestled with a broken wrist while champion. Toni Storm shows up, but Jamie Hayter also shows up and attacks Toni as Rebel shows up with a Terrible Towel. Suddenly, Hikaru Shida shows up with a Kendo stick and chases Britt, Rebel and Hayter out of the ring.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) and The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens). Swerve In Our Glory tell The Acclaimed that they would make worthy opponents for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at All Out. Caster says that they do not need their help or their pit, then The Acclaimed accept their challenge.

Jon Moxley beats CM Punk to become the undisputed AEW World Champion after Punk injures his left foot with a kick to Moxley's head and Moxley works on the foot before hitting two Death Riders.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Christian Cage. Christian says he extended an olive branch and one last chance to apologize last week for what he did to him, and says he did what he did out of tough love, not malice. He says that Jungle Boy will not be as smart as he is and that he had the audacity to challenge him for All Out. Christian says he has seen and done it all, and Jungle Boy will find out that he is an anomaly, as Jungle Boy is not in his league.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks heads to the ring. Starks says he is not in the best of moods and that he is pissed off from Team Taz breaking up, losing the FTW Championship, dealing with The Factory and being betrayed by Powerhouse Hobbs. Starks says that he thought he was the exception to the rule that there is no such thing as friends in wrestling when he and Hobbs were partners in crime, but the thing about people wanting to see you do well is that they don't want you doing better than them. He says that he took Powerhouse Hobbs and showed him what it was like to eat at his table, and mentions that Hobbs nearly put him back on the shelf when he hit him in the back of his neck. Starks says that Hobbs is a snake and that where he comes from, they cut the heads off of snakes, and tells Hobbs to bring his "five dollar ass" to All Out and fight him.

Backstage, Jon Moxley says that the people who are surprised that he quickly won tonight are the same people who wrote him off. He says those people do not matter, and that he is "the guy" in this industry. Moxley then says that his time is right now.

We see a video package of Kenny Omega's return.

United Empire (Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis) beat Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) to advance in the Trios Title Tournament. During the match, PAC attacks the man in the crowd with the box on his head who has been seen in the front row for months. Someone ends up being underneath the box, and Kip Sabian - who is rumored to be the one who has been wearing the box the whole time, attacks PAC from behind and takes him out. After the match, The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick jackson) show up and have a staredown with United Empire. Don Callis has to stop Kenny Omega from fighting United Empire himself.
