Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for August 26, 2026

Will Ospreay heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Ospreay says that a year has gone by since he got surgery and doubt set in on whether or not he could get back and win the big one, as well as his start in the United Kingdom and Scotland where he wrestled weekends and went to work the rest of the week just to get to this point. He says that he loved being in the foxhole with the same people who followed the same dream and learning from the legend of British legends, as well as paying tributes to the ones who are not here anymore. Ospreay says that he did it all to see if he really is the best, and when one talks about the best, it is hard to see past Kenny Omega, and while he knows Omega is not here tonight, nobody respects Omega more than he does. Ospreay says that while there is no better wrestler this decade than Kenny Omega, respect went out the window the moment Omega mentioned his son needing a new hero after he loses to him, as he has some promises to keep for family and friends. He says that Omega will "get the billy goat for sure" as well as the fight of his life, and warns him not to "fuck with a man looking after a boy." Ospreay says there is a debt that needs to be paid, and that "it is time to bring it home." He says Omega will show his boy that heroes are just ordinary people who can do extraordinary things, and that this Sunday, he will take it all.

Jon Moxley beats Claudio Castagnoli to advance to the finals of the AEW Continental Challenge Cup.

Adam Copeland and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat The Don Callis Family (Rocky "Azucar" Romero, "The Machine" Brian Cage, Jake Doyle) in a trios match despite Copeland nearly getting inadvertently Superkicked by The Young Bucks during the match. After the match, Christian Cage shows up and says he does not associate with people who are beneath him, and that as far as tag teams go, The Young Bucks are beneath him despite how influential they have become. Christian says that he and Copeland are the kind of legends that matches and pay-per-views are named after, and that The Young Bucks will learn the difference between "influence" and "legendary." Nick Jackson asks Christian if anyone has ever named a wrestling company after him, then addresses accidentally Superkicking Christian in the face and how it will stop being an accident if Christian keeps up. This leads to a confrontation in which Nick gets kicked in the groin by Christian and Matt Jackson gets Speared by Copeland.

Willow Nightingale's entrance theme hits, then it is revealed that Willow has been attacked backstage by Mercedes Moné, who says that tonight is Willow's last Dynamite as Women's World Champion.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis and Mark Davis. Callis says he is back from Croatia and feeling refreshed, and that whoever wins between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship will have a surprise. He says that Mark Davis has drawn a number, and if Davis' number is called, he will settle the score with Andrade el Idolo and get closer to the AEW World Championship "with a little London luck."

Andrade El Idolo's music hits at first, then stops. MJF's entrance theme then plays, and MJF makes his way to the ramp. MJF says it great to be here in "beautiful sunny Ireland," then realized he is in Scotland before calling everybody alcoholics, which actually gets cheered. MJF then says he has paid some people off to "warm Andrade el Idolo up" and that while Andrade is not here, he is. He says that what Andrade does is not special and that he can do the same thing, even though finding a hot chick in Scotland is impossible. He finds a hot chick in the crowd, then Andrade appears MJF and says "How you know?" Andrade then clobbers MJF with the microphone when MJF turns around, and that leads to a brief brawl in the ring that MJF barely escapes from.

Backstage, we hear from Chris Jericho, who says that this is the biggest weekend in AEW with the highest of stakes, and while he knows how important his biggest matches have been, he knows how important All In is, and that he is entering the Men's Casino Gauntlet. Jericho then says that he will be part of a six-man tag match later tonight.

Nigel McGuinness beats Kyle O'Reilly by submission with London Dungeon to advance to the finals of the AEW Continental Challenge Cup.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. Callis says there is always competition among alpha athletes, but at the end of the day, he expects the family to run the play. Fletcher says that he trusts Don Callis with all of his heart and that he is willing to run the play at All In, but wants to know if "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada will do the same. Okada shows up and says family is the most important thing and that Fletcher can trust him, but Fletcher asks what he should trust Okada to do when Okada was nowhere to be seen when he was attacked last week. Okada says Fletcher thinks only of himself, and reiterates the importance of family.

Persephone and The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) beat Maya World and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) in a trios match after Persephone hits Maya World with a top rope splash while The Divine Dominion and The Brawling Birds brawl their way to the back.

Swerve Strickland beats "Jungle" Jack Perry after blocking a casadora and pulling Jack Perry up by the hair for Big Pressure.

We see Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay preparing for their match at All In.

Fright Night - Dynamite recap for October 29, 2025

Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin beat The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia) by submission in a Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Team Match following a Scorpion Death Lock from Darby to Yuta.

Backstage, we hear from Hook, who says that he is the underdog in his match tonight as he is up against three decorated veterans. He wants his shot at the AEW World Championship, and he will make sure Samoa Joe does not advance after he showed who he really was.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis, who says that he will show everyone that the family has never been stronger when The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) show up. Callis says it is "criminal" what AEW has done to The Young Bucks as of late and that it would help them to have a family to have their backs. He then has production start the special entrance that he has for them. When they head tot he ring, Don Callis introduces The Young Bucks himself, even calling them "the former friends of that rat bastard Kenny Omega," then the pyro goes off. Stokely Hathaway guests on commentary for the next match.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight), The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) in a Fright Night Four-Way #1 contender's match to face Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear.

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between "Hangman" Adam Page and Samoa Joe.

The Don Callis Family heads to the ring for the Don Callis Family summit. Callis addresses what is going between "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, the latter of whom is not here ronight. Rocky "Azucar" Romero calls The Don Callis Family the largest and most dominant faction in wrestling today, and says that while some of their members are not here for various reasons, including Takeshita for travel reasons, before unveiling Callis' latest painting, "La Familia." "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander then puts the focus on a video package for The Don Callis Family before "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher recites the family pledge. Suddenly, Takeshita suddenly shows up. Takeshita and Okada have a staredown in the middle of the ring in front of Callis, who tells Takeshita that the family is full of alphas and that there will understandably - and desirably - be some push and pull. Callis then states that they are a family at the end of the day, then states that the family succeeds by listening to what he wants, saying there is no I in team, but an I in family. Callis says that he and Takeshita built the family off the ashes of Kenny Omega's career, and while Takeshita may be the first one, he can be the last out. He tells Takeshita to put his ego aside and shake Okada's hand. He also tells Takeshita that this is not about his ego, but his honor, as Takeshita is hesitant. Takeshita then puts his hand out, but Okada flips him off. The rest of the family has to get between them. Callis admits there is some work to be done and that he will make Takeshita and Okada work together like a family in a tag team match on Collision.

We hear from Olympia, who says that she will see Mercedes Moné on Collision when she reclaims the CMLL World Women's Championship.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander. Statlander says Mercedes Moné is obsessed, then says she will be at Collision to support her. As for tonight, she dares Mercedes to say what she has to say to her to her face.

Kyle O'Reilly vs. Jon Moxley ends in a double count-out as O'Reilly counters a Death Rider with a guillotine choke. After the match, Marina Shafir punches out referee Aubrey Edwards, then Claudio Castagnoli runs into the ring and hits O'Reilly with a European Uppercut. Roderick Strong shows up as Shafir grabs a chair, then hits an Angle Slam on Claudio before Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia attack Roderick from behind. Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe show up to even the numbers game, and Darby gives The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, Shafir) to face them and suffer. Mark Briscoe says The Death Riders are "fake-ass tough guys" who run away when it is time to fight. Briscoe then challenges The Death Riders to a match , which Orange Cassidy flatly announces is Blood and Guts.

Backstage, Mercedes Moné and Kris Statlander brawl, and their brawl soon makes its way towards the ring. Statlander is suddenly grabbed and attacked from behind by Athena, and she and Mercedes hit Statlander with the Backstabber followed by the Oh! Face. As Mercees puts Statlander in the crossface, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron charge into the ring. Athena and Mercedes retreat as Willow and Harley check on Statlander.

We see a video package of Bandido with his family along with clips of his recent success in both AEW and Ring of Honor.

Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) beat Queen Aminata and Jamie Hayter to advance in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. The former is wearing a cast, and Penelope says she is out indefinitely after tearing her UCL. She says that the women's tag titles were their destiny and that she will make the rest of the women's division feel her pain. Megan Bayne says their fate may be delayed, then says she will decide who is worthy if they step up. All of a sudden, Marina Shafir shows up and says she is listening, then Jon Moxley shows up and realizes that they have potential as a team.

Samoa Joe beats Hook, Ricochet and Bobby Lashley by submission in a Fright Night Four-Way Match to face "Hangman" Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear with a Coaquina Clutch to Hook as Lashley goes after Ricochet for hitting him in the back with a metal folding chair. After the match, Lashley chases Ricochet to the back. After the match, Lashley chases Ricochet to the back. Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata join Joe in the ring as Tony Schiavone shows up to bring out people in costumes, who show up with the contract for the World Championship match. Joe sics Hobbs and Shibata on the men in costume to ensure he has the safest environment possible to sign the contract. He unmasks the person in the Stay-Puft Marshmallow costume only to find out it is not "Hangman" Adam Page, then punches him and signs the contract. Joe then says that Hangman is not as creative as he used to be and apologizes for the carnage, then proclaims that he will free Hangman of the burden of being champion and become AEW World Champion. Joe, Hobbs and Shibata then have beers out of the bucket brought out by one of the costumed men, then Tony Schiavone proposes a toast. Unfortunately for them, "Hangman" Adam Page is now in the ring disguised as Tony Schiavone, and Hangman decimates all three men before security holds him back.

Collision Course - Collision recap for October 15, 2025

The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia) beat Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly after Marina Shafir distracts the referee just as Garcia taps to a guillotine choke by O'Reilly, which allows PAC and Claudio Castagnoli to show up and attack Orange and O'Reilly behind the referee's back. After the match, everyone gangs up on Orange and O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii show up to even the numbers game. Before Moxley can say anything on the microphone, Darby Allin staggers towards Moxley only for Claudio to clobber him with a running European uppercut. PAC then runs up to Darby and hits him with a pump kick, but even after that, Darby still crawls towards the ring. Garcia and Yuta then gang up on him, but that still does not stop Darby. Even a kick to the head by Marina Shafir does not stop Darby from getting in the ring, at which point Orange, Ishii, O'Reilly and Roddy all push The Death Riders (Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, PAC) back. Darby places his AEW flag in front of Moxley, grabs the microphone and tells Moxley it is not too late to say he quits. Moxley hits the Death Rider on Darby on top of the AEW flag, then he and Shafir leave.

Before the next match, Megan Bayne shows up with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway, and asks Willow Nightingale how it feels knowing that she gave it everything that she had only to realize that it still was not good enough, and tells her that taking another swing makes her stupid, not a fighter. She says she did not beat it into her skull hard enough, and that watching her tear Harley Cameron apart tonight will finally make it click. She says it is fun to play the hero, but Willow's fate will be the same: bowing down to her. Stokely Hathaway says he cannot articulate how much he hates Willow, but he can articulate how much he hates JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight). He says Kevin Knight has all the potential in the world, but he spends his time hanging out with "Speedball" Mike Bailey, and at Saturday Tailgate Brawl, they will soon be focused on the AEW Tag Team Championships. Dax Harwood says JetSpeed has one opportunity to write their name in pro wrestling's book of life, and goes through all of FTR's accolades before Willow, Harley and JetSpeed show up on the video screen. Willow, Harley and JetSpeed soon decide to take their words to the ring. Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale then attack Megan Bayne from behind, then FTR get nailed with stereo missile dropkicks from JetSpeed before Willow, Harley and JetSpeed finish the job.

Megan Bayne beats Harley Cameron with a running Liger Bomb after Harley somehow kicks out of Fate's Descent.

Backstage, we hear from Eddie Kingston and Hook. Eddie says they are focused on tag team wrestling before he and Hook issue an open challenge for Saturday Tailgate Brawl.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Anthony Bowens and Max Caster. Bowens says he will never tag with Caster, to which Castler agrees, who says that there is no tag team between them. Both men do not want to be part of another tag team match again.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) and Mark Briscoe beat The Don Callis Family ("The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Lance Archer) in a trios match. After the match, Briscoe and Fletcher brawl their way to the back, then the lights flicker and El Clon shows up. All of a sudden, Brodido is attacked from behind by "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who then holds up the AEW World Tag Team Championships to end the show.

Title Tuesday - Dynamite recap for October 7, 2025

Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page and Samoa Joe for a face-to-face meeting before their AEW World Championship match at WrestleDream to start tonight's show. Hangman is introduced first, followed by Joe. Hangman says there has been six years of Dynamite in AEW history and that in those six years, he has won, he has lost, he has committed arson, he has dressed as the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and he may have been proposed to, but he has never been more confused as he was when Joe lost his composure with him after he volunteered to fight with him and Powerhouse Hobbs to beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir), and after they won, Joe lost it, even sucker punching him in the face when security got involved. Hangman admits that he was confused, but that he was not confused for long, because Joe looked him in the and yelled to him "You never beat me" and that he looked at the AEW World Championship and decided that he wanted it. He says that Joe has been angry with himself and distracted from what is important in professional wrestling, then tells Joe that while he will get his chance at WrestleDream, he is only getting it because he owes him after ensuring that the fight for the AEW World Championship at All In was a fair one, which he thanks Joe for. Hangman admits that with help like that, no one - much less himself - could have won, but the repayment for his gratitude stops there. He tells Joe that he will have the chance to win the title at WrestleDream, but he will not just let Joe take it from him. Joe tells the fans that everything Hangman has said is true, but since they are talking about uncomfortable truth, he will tell a few of his own. Joe says that when he stares across the ring, his problem is not with Hangman being the champion, but that Hangman is not what he considers "the pinnacle of professional wrestling" and is instead "a pretender." Joe says Hangman would not be AEW World Championship unless the timely intervention of The Opps (Joe, Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) assured that, and that week after week, nobody has had Hangman's back but The Opps, and if they did not, Hangman would not be "the man" right now. Joe admits he is surprised that this did not happen sooner, as he has forgotten who he was and was so bloodlusted with going after The Death Riders that he forgot about the man who called himself the champion, and that Hangman "is no champion." Joe says Hangman may have the "fighting champion" hustle, but he provided the opportunity and he is collecting on what is owed. Joe then says that what is standing in front of him is "a fraud" and that he is here to check him, and that he will beat, break and torture Hangman, who will get his licks in, get his fight back, give his best effort and try to be the man that he says he is before he chokes him unconscious, takes his belt, and shows him who he really is as Hangman knows his places and provides the world with a true champion. Hangman asks why he has to explain to tough guys like Joe that the proof of who he is does not stand in their opinion of him, but when the bell rings, and while Joe may beat his ass for a while at WrestleDream, but for every shot Joe gives him, he will give Joe two back. If Joe locks him in the Coaquina Clutch, he will not tap again, and that the match will be in his favor for every second that ticks in their match, as Joe can not outlast him. He says that when the match is over and Joe is on his back having been beaten as fairly as possible, he hopes Joe brings the same energy as he did at All In to stand up, shake his hand, look him in the eye and know that he is the champion of the world.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Alicia Atout interviews The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). Briscoe says the word of the day is "multifacetification," for tonight, they have a big night as well as a big week, as Willow Nightingale will be teaming with JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) on Collision and there is no doubt that they will get the job done. As for tonight, Kyle O'Reilly will face "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and beat his ass for attacking Hologram, which he says will not go unpunished. O'Reilly says that he despises any other man named Kyle and tells the fans to cheer for Kyle, because if he does not hear even one "Let's go, Kyle" chant, he is going to lose it. Roderick Strong tells O'Reilly to bring the TNT Championship home. Brisco also proclaims that Orange Cassidy is "freshly back" and will be reviving his rivalry with PAC and giving him the beating that he "truly, rightfully deserves," and that Tomohiro Ishii will take on Jon Moxley in what will be "a slobberknocker" and that Ishii will "drop bombs" on Moxley. Orange then has everyone put their hands out, which everyone but Roderick Strong - including Alicia Atout - takes part in.

Jon Moxley beats Tomohiro Ishii by submission with the Bulldog Choke.

Renee Paquette interviews The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) as they knock on Tony Khan's door. Nicholas says he is desperate for a money match, and Matthew says that they have two tickets to watch Jurassic Express' return match later tonight.

We see a video package for "Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW Women's World Championship at WrestleDream.

The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) beat The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) in a Street Fight.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Don Callis Family. Don Callis says his family is smarter than everyone else and that no strategy is necessary, then demands that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander destroy Kota Ibushi on Collision. He also calls Kyle O'Reilly is an irritant and such a mark for "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher that he neamed himself after Kyle. Callis also stats that Brodido will not get a shot at the Unified Championship, and Rocky "Azucar" Romero brags about Hechicero ripping Bandido's shoulder out of its socket. Callis says that "The Alpha" Konouske Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada will work together like a well-oiled machine, and after they win tonight, the family will roll into WrestleDream and win the AEW World Championship to claim all of the gold.

Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) beat KM and Orion. During the match, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are seen on the upper-left corner of the crowd on the hard cam. After the match, The Young Bucks attack Jurassic Express, and kick Luchasaurus in the groin as he goes for a double choke slam before hitting him with an EVP-Trigger. Nicholas then challenges Jurassic Express to a match against The Young Bucks at WrestleDream before hitting Jack Perry with a TK Driver.

Backstage, we hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir). PAC says that he is looking for a snack to whet his appetite and that he will outwrestle and outclass Orange Cassidy before making his suffer, then move upwards and outwards as The Death Riders have ambition that far outweighs the likes of Orange. Wheeler says he and Orange used to be good friends and that tonight will hurt him almost as much as it will Orange, but if The Death Riders are to elevate AEW to as high as it can be, then they must "trim the fat and cut the shit" and separate the winners from the losers. Garcia says it is not about wins and losses, and that they see a lot of losers and that winning is a choice. He says that The Death Riders will keep winning, because that is what they do.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher retains the TNT Championship against Kyle O'Reilly. After the match, Lance Archer goes for a choke slam on O'Reilly, but Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii get in the ring. Rocky "Azucar" Romero evens the numbers game before Mark Briscoe shows up and cleans house. Fletcher and Briscoe almost come to blows, but they stop themselves, and Fletcher leaes the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and Lance Archer. Fletcher says that he has Mark Briscoe's number on any given day and that he has beaten Briscoe twice. When it is announces that Briscoe will face Fletcher for the TNT Championship at WrestleDream, Fletcher is aghast, and he, Callis and Archer leave.

Mercedes Moné's TBS Championship open challenge opponent is revealed to be Lacey Lane.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Lacey Lane.

We hear from Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos. Guevara says that Eddie Kingston did not win against Dralistico; he just survived. He then says that Eddie will face Mortos on Collision and tells Eddie to say his prayers and tell his family that he loves them, because The Beast Mortos will be the end of him. We then hear from Eddie Kingston and Hook. Eddie says he beat Dralistico because of Guevara, and now Guevara is going to get Mortos' ass kicked.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) beats Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) in a Double Jeopardy Elimination Match for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships after Bandido's shoulder injury leaves him unable to perform the 21-Plex and Okada tags himself in to hit Bandido with the Rainmaker, leaving Takeshita in a better position to knock Brody King off the ring apron with a knee.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale and JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight). Speedball says it blows his mind that people who call themselves the greatest tag team of all time can grab a microphone and make excuses for their horrible actions, which is why JetSpeed will always respect people who stand up to bullies like Willow Nightingale. Jet says he had Dax looking up at the lights and questions if FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) are top guys when they have to take shortcuts to win. Willow says that regardless of whoever is at ringside, it will be three-on-three, and Knight tells Stokely Hathaway to get another track suit.

Backstage, we hear from Stokely Hathaway and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Stokely admits that he has a smidge of respect for JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) for stepping into the ring with the greatest tag team today, but he does not respect Willow, saying that Dax would have beaten Knight if it were not for Willow. He says he does not need hoes when he has "two bad bitches" who hate Willow Nightingale just as much as he does: Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. Penelope says that she and Megan bring beauty and power personified, and Megan says that she brings balance before telling Willow that smiles and positivity do not make her a hero, as she does not stand a chance in any universe where she walks. Stokely tells JetSpeed that they do not stand a chance either, and on Collision, they will put JetSpeed and Willow in their place.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Brodido (Bandido and Brody King). Bandido says he is not making excuses for tonight's loss, and says he costs them the match. Brody King says Bandido is the one to say "never stop fighting" and that they will never stop fighting, and at WrestleDream, they will continue to be tag team champions.

Orange Cassidy beats PAC. During the match, PAC leads Orange Cassidy out of the ring and into the stands, where he hits Orange with a piledriver only to be handcuffed to a barricade by his ankle by Darby Allin. PAC frees himself and dives back into the ring in time, but Orange Cassidy wins with a roll-up. After the match, Darby satres down PAC from the stands. PAC goes after Darby only to be blinded with pepper spray. Wheeler Yuta charges at Darby only to be thrown over the announce table, then Darby pulls out a stun gun and keeps Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia at bay. Claudio and Garcia have to keep Moxley away from Darby, as does Marina Shafir. Darby tries to light a Molotov concktail, but he is taken down by security before he can light it up. Darby is restrained as The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, Shafir) are kept back.

Collision Course - Collision recap for February 1, 2025

Samoa Joe and Hook beat The Patriarchy (Kip Sabian and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne). After the match, Nick Wayne and Christian Cage attack Joe and Hook, with Christian Cage using his metal document holder as a weapon.

We hear from Adam Copeland, who wants to know what Jon Moxley's plan is but is convinced that even Moxley does not even know his own plan and that he would rather shout at clouds and blame everyone else. He calls Moxley a "malcontent" who wants change but fails to look in the mirror and realize that they are a common theme. He calls out Moxley for hiding the AEW World Championship inside a briefcase and calling him a relic, and while he always respected the generation before him for what they did, his generation made everything better for Moxley's. He says Moxley respects nothing that has been done because he is entitled, and says that the AEW World Championship will not be hidden for long after he beats him up and hurts him. Copeland says that when Moxley can barely get out bed at the age of 65, it will be because of him, and at Revolution, he will face Moxley for the AEW World Championship. He then tells Moxley to step up and accept his challenge.

The Beast Mortos beats Adam Priest. After the match, Max Caster shows up and says The Beast Mortos could never stand a chance against him, then issues the first match of his open challenge series. The challenge is answered by Rush, who has not been seen in some time.

Rush quickly beats Max Caster. After the match, Rush tells The Beast Mortos that they are family, then says that when you mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd). Magnum says "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho has been running his mouth campaigning for an ass whupping, and now the votes are in and he's about to get elected. Floyd says Jericho might as well dig two graves, as The Outrunners are on top and Jericho and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith are taking the Total Recall.

The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) beat The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) after "The Redwood" Big Bill pulls Magnum out of the ring and Bryan Keith pins Floyd with an inside cradle as The Outrunners go for Total Recall. After the match, Big Bill attacks Turbo Floyd, then attacks Magnum when he tries to go for the save. Bryan keith sets up a table, but as Big Bill is about to choke slam The Outrunners through it, Bandido shows up and makes the save, press slamming Bryan Keith through the table in the process.

We see a video package for Mark Briscoe vs. "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher for next week's Collision.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada when Buddy Matthews shows up laughing. Buddy finds it funny that Okada can call himself a champion when he is afraid to defend his title, then says that Julia Hart and Brody King are not here and that they can have a one-on-one match. Okada laughs and tells Buddy he does not deserve it, and Buddy says that still makes Okada a bitch. Okada says he is no bitch.

Harley Cameron beats Taya Valkyrie with a crucifix pin following a Spear by Taya, earning her first win in AEW. Both Taya and "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo (the latter of whom is backstage) are livid.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews Ricochet. Ricochet says that for the past five years, fans have said that AEW is where he should be and that AEW is where he would belong, and he agreed with them. He says he watched from afar as he watched people he traveled the world with do amazing things in AEW, and he always knew that AEW was the place to be. He then says that when he got here, the fans turned their backs on him, especially after he beat Will Ospreay, and was greeted with toilet paper. He says he saw the fans when he saw Swerve Strickland, who called himself a man of the people, and stabbed him in the forehead with the golden scissors, and says it was for everyone who thought it was okay to mock and embarrass him. Swerve shows up and says he could end Ricochet and his entire life right now, but he would upsetting a whole lot of people in Atlanta. Renee leaves as Swerve gets in Ricochet's face and says they probably never will see eye-to-eye, and that he will never forget the day that Ricochet announced he was a free agent, because he did not want Ricochet here. He says AEW has a way of exposing people and what they are about, and that Ricochet put himself out there as a superhero and the fans rejected it. Swerve says he knows he is the villain and that he gets all the respect for it, then tells Ricochet that he will show him that there are levels to this and give him a fight, warning Ricochet that he cannot win in a fight against the most dangerous man in AEW. Ricochet admits that he is not good at pretending or acting, and that he never cared about the fans. He then says that he felt no threat from Swerve ever since Hangman "snatched [his] grill." "Timeless" Toni Storm appears on the stage. Toni confesses that for the last six weeks, she has played her younger self, and that the young girl in the red shorts was actually her. She says nobody realized this because of how good she is and that they all bore witness to her metamorphosis, but she did this not for the fans, but for herself, as when "The Glamour" Mariah May broke her heart and took everything, she was so embarassed and so ashamed that she had to run away from herself, but she realized that the only way out was through the fire, so she rebuilt herself from the ground up just to look the fans in the eye and see everything she needed to see. She calls Mariah May a "bullshit-faced fraud" and a "shambolic bitch" before telling her that she will doom her womb, for it does not get more real than her and Mariah's time is over.

He says that the Continental Classic reminds of what is right in AEW and that he must win the tournament, as it represents AEW and its passion. Darby admits there will be collateral damage along the way, as Jon Moxley says that AEW needs saving when it gave him a second chance. Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for June 26, 2024

MJF heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Before he can speak, he is suddenly joined by Daniel Garcia. MJF thanks Garcia for saving him last week, even though he got in his business, and somewhat expects MJF to say bad stuff about his city or his family before declaring he will do something the locker room is afraid to do: say nice things about MJF. MJF is slightly surprised, and Garcia talks about how MJF saw him as more than just a lackey and more like a pillar of AEW much like himself, and says that while he got his World title shot against MJF, it was one of the most embarrassing moments of his entire life. This inspired Garcia to go on the road that he has been on that has led to him to wrestle in some great matches, and Garcia no longer wants to be a pillar, but a backbone that AEW is built on. Garcia thanks MJF, but warns him that if he starts talking shit, he will come off as two-faced and have Buffalo, New York on him. MJF says he is here to plug his match against "a poorly-drawn comic book character" in Hechicero at Forbidden Door, then shills his appearance in Memphis, Tennessee for Collision. MJF says he was going to ask Garcia to come to the ring, then thanks Garcia for thanking him for what he has done behind the scenes, and says that while some people want his shots, he sees one person getting closer and closer, and that was Garcia. He tells Garcia that he earned his title shot, then tells him that he reminds him of himself in a lot of ways, yet when he gave him the opportunity to take his spot, he beat him without breaking a sweat. MJF says that Garcia improved since then and did not run away from the grind because he is the grind, then entertains giving him one more shot at All In. Garcia admits that this is a huge deal, then Will Ospreay shows up. Ospreay acknowledges Garcia wanting a shot at the International title and says that he loves the way that he is doing it, and tells him that he has his title match next week, and if he wins the World title, he will also put it on the line. Garcia accepts Ospreay's challenge, then Ospreay leaves after a glance at MJF. MJF tells Garcia that Ospreay's challenge is a big deal and that he should focus on that, then wishes him luck.

Backstage, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana have been watching tonight's opening promo. Swerve says Ospreay is offering title opportunities before winning the title and that he is putting the cart before the horse, and that he does not have what it takes. He tells Ospreay to hold his end of the bargain tonight, then says that Ospreay has focus problems that are not championship material.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson guests on commentary for the next match.

After the match, as everyone goes at it, Tetsuya Naito shows up, and Moxley and Naito go at it on the ramp. Meanwhile, Shingo Takagi hits Wheeler Yuta with hammer and anvil elbows, and this leads to "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson sliding into the ring to confront Takagi.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Rey Fenix to advance in the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. At the beginning of the match, all seconds are immediately ejected from ringside by referee Rick Knox after things get tepid on the outside to ensure a fair match. After the match, The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Killswitch, Mama Wayne) shows up and heads to the ring, and this leads to a staredown between the two teams.

Backstage, we hear from The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson). Nicholas admits he was angry with The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and that The Acclaimed took advantage of that anger, then says the results will be different when the tag titles are on the line. Matthew says that after Forbidden Door, "Scapegoat" Jack Perry will become the TNT Champion, then announces that they have inserted their own wild card into the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to bring the AEW World Championship to The Elite to ensure they have all the power and all the gold.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) make their way to the ring. Max Caster talks about how The Acclaimed beat The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) to earn a tag team title shots and exposed them as the "soft-ass, self-important Executive Vice Presidents that they are are" before taking their titles. Anthony Bowens says they just have to beat The Young Bucks one more time, and that there will be no excuses when they meet in the ring and they become two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Young Bucks soon show up with "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, who says "Scissor me, bitch!", and The Young Bucks announce that the three of them challenge The Acclaimed to a match at Forbidden Door. "Timeless" Toni Storm, Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa beat The Outcasts (Saraya, Harley Cameron, Anna Jay) in a trios match despite Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa not getting along. After the match, Toni and Mina have a slightly reluctant champagne toast, then Mina grabs her bottle of champagne and tries to hit Toni with it only to inadvertently smash it into Mariah May's head. Toni and Mina are initially shocked, then they get angry. Referees have to keep them apart as Mariah May is checked on.

The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) heads to the ring. Big Bill mentions that Bryan Keith's right arm is in a sling after what Samoa Joe, Hook and "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata did to them last week before challenging them to a match, and says that while one door closes, another one opens, according to Jericho. Jericho says that everyone who knows him knows that he is in AEW for one reason and one reason only - the young guys - and that he brings so many into "the Jericho vortex" to help their career, and says it is not fair that Bryan Keith got hurt. He then says the joke is on "Samoa Joke," as they have found another partner in one of the toughest men he has ever met in his time in Japan. That partner is Minoru Suzuki, who appears on the video screen, and says that while he understands why Jericho wants to team with him, he wants to wrestle Jericho one-on-one instead of teaming with him, and says Jericho is avoiding him because he is scared and accuses him of chickening out. He says he hates Jericho's soft way of thinking, and that he wants nothing to do with The Learning Tree. He also wants the FTW Championship on the line in their match. After Bryan Keith says that Jericho is no "lame ass chicken," Samoa Joe, Hook, and Shibata show up. Joe says The Learning Tree was looking for a savior but struck out again, and that The Learning Tree is just like the Jericho family tree in which it just does not have enough branches. He then says they have watched every one of The Learning Tree's segments to see what they are dealing with, then Shibata says through his phone "Oh, brother! This guy sucks!" This leads to a staredown between Samoa Joe and Jericho where Joe slaps Jericho only tog et headbutted, and this leads to a brawl where Joe, Hook and Shibata come out on top.

As this goes on, Gabe Kidd mouths off at Tomohiro Ishii.

Swerve says he is a businessman and a philantrophist and does his own thing, then has Prince Nana throw the sneakers into the front row. The Elite then decide to pick a fight with Swerve, and that leads to The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) showing up and joining Swerve in the ring. Interim EVP Christopher Daniels shows up before a brawl can happen, and says he needs everyone backstage except for Jack Perry, as Perry will be wrestling Dustin Rhodes in a TNT Championship Ladder Match qualifier right now.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry beats "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes to qualify for the TNT Championship Ladder Match at Forbidden Door. All seconds are banned from ringside during this match.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy. O'Reilly says they are professionals and that they can team up as well as they can compete with each other, and Orange says he has a few people who have his back as well as one who really does: Willow Nightingale, who suddenly shows up. Mark Briscoe says last week is the past and that today is today, and says the word of the day is "conglomeration," and that their opponents are in trouble tonight after what O'Reilly and Orange will do to them.

Rush beats Deonn Rusman. After the match, Rush takes the microphone from ring announcer Justin Roberts, then mocks Deonn Rusman for being weak like the fans and attacks him again. Suddenly, MJF shows up and brawls with Rush, and when security shows up, they get levelled, then Rush and MJF brawl again, this time taking the brawl to the crowd as Interim EVP Christopher Daniels and referees try to restore order. The brawl then spills backstage, and MJF puts Rush through a table before both men are finally pulled apart, with even the locker room getting involved in the pull-apart. It is then made official that next week, MJF will face off with Rush at the beginning of next week's show with no commercial interruptions.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Roderick Strong and The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita) beat Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly and Mark Briscoe in a trios match. After the match, Trent Beretta attacks Orange Cassidy on the outside, and The Don Callis Family attacks Mark Briscoe before Willow Nightingale's music hits. Suddenly, Willow is thrown onto the stage by Kris Statlander, who attacks Willow as Stokely Hathaway arrives. Stokely Hathaway warns Willow that if she gets in their business again, they will drag her to the emergency room instead of the stage.

We see Renee Paquette in the locker room with Rey Fenix prior to his AEW International Championship match against Will Ospreay later tonight.

We hear from Stephanie Vaquer, who gives Mercedes Moné props for being one of the best. She then says that her arrogance is just plain offensive, as she works hard instead of sitting around and being on the red carpet, and that her title is not going anywhere as she becomes a double champion.

Mercedes Moné retains the TBS Championship against Zeuxis.

We see a vignette for Mina Shirakawa, which is also partly narrated by Mariah May, who also talks about her history with Mina as well as Mina's accomplishments.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Luther, "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mariah May. Mariah thanks Toni for entering her in the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, then says she will host the contract signing between Mina and Toni next week. Toni says that she has high hopes for Mariah May in the tournament, and that she is confident she will walk out of Forbidden Door as Women's World Champion.

"The Redwood" Big Bill welcomes everyone to TV Time With The Learning Tree, and says that if "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho has taught him anything, it is never too late to start learning and never too early to start winning. He then introduces Jericho, who arrives with "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith. Jericho thanks the fans for making his new shirt, which just came out on AEW Shop fifteen minutes ago, the fastest selling shirt on the shop, then says he had some corn and that it was too ripe, as the soil had a pH level of 7 instead of 6 to 6.8. Bryan Keith tells everyone to respect Jericho in order to grow good corn, then Jericho brings out tonight's guests - Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) - saying they could learn something from him. Jericho reminds Private Party to have some designated drivers if they plan to do some shots, then says that while they have done some good work in AEW, they have not won matches, as their basics are not up to snuff. Jericho says he knows the basics after learning from Stu Hart 33 years ago, and says that some of the stuff they do is unsound. Zay tells Jericho to teach them something, as everyone wants to see it, as Jericho is "the Caitlin Clark of AEW." Jericho teaches the proper way of climbing to the top rope, then Zay trips Jericho off the top before brawling with Big Bill and Bryan Keith, sending them over the top rope and taking them down before Jericho eats some aerial offense.

Daniel Garcia beats Nick Comoroto. During the match, MJF and Will Ospreay are both seen watching the match from backstage. After the match, Renee Paquette interviews Will Ospreay. Ospreay says his body is feeling fine, and while he would like to praise Daniel Garcia, his mind is elsewhere with Forbidden Door and he has a title to defend and a contract to sign.

Backstage, we hear from PAC, who says that he has been extorted by everyone as of late and that it is humiliating. He says he should be a bastard, but he feels like a bitch. PAC says this ends now, as he is done with apathy and he is angry again, and he is at his best when he is angry. PAC then announces that he will be entering the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and getting his opportunity at the world championship at All In. He says he will be damned if this does not happen, then warns The Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade" Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Juice Robinson) that Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) have not forgotten what they did to them.

Will Ospreay retains the AEW International Championship against Rey Fenix after telling Swerve Strickland, who is watching from the front row, that this is his house. After the match, Swerve and Ospreay meet in the ring, and while Ospreay wants to shake Swerve's hand, Swerve is not enthused as he says this is not a game and that he cannot hold both titles. As soon as Trick turns around, Ospreay snatches the AEW World Championship from Swerve's shoulder and holds them both before Swerve takes the world title and tells him he is lucky they are still friends, as he would have put anyone else in the grave for that.

Collision Course - Collision recap for June 8, 2024

The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) ends in a time limit draw. After the match, Dax says everyone is the ring is a fighter and demands five more minutes. All of a sudden, Brandon Cutler shows up on behalf of The Elite with a contract for the match, which states that there are only twenty minutes. Cutler makes his way into the ring only for Claudio to put him in a Giant Swing, and Cash Wheeler says "Sorry, I can't read!" Cutler gets drop kicked, then Claudio slingshots Cutler into Shatter Machine before Dax tears up the contract. Afterwards, Claudio tells FTR that Blackpool Combat Club will accept a rematch anytime and anywhere.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kyle O'Reilly, who says it is easy to see why Orange Cassidy is so popular and a face of AEW. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) shows up, and Roderick Strong tells Kyle that ever since he has come back, he has looked good, but not great, as something is missing. He then says that Undisputed Kingdom is rooting for him and that he has this, and offers his advice. O'Reilly says he appreciates the support, but Roddy tells him not to forgot what he said when he came back.

Kris Statlander beats Robyn Renegade. After the match, Stokely Hathaway says Kris Statlander is an inspiration and his muse, and wishes he had the strength, speed, intensity, and the ability to decimate a division with the snap of a finger of Kris Statlander. He then mentions that he has spoken with Tony Khan and for the first time, they were on the same page, as he said that Kris Statlander is the past, present and future of AEW and will win both of AEW's women's titles. Stokely then announces that Statlander has declared for the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and beat whoever is world champion, as there is nobody who can stop her.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews an arriving Willow Nightingale, who says that is is only fair that she also declare for the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and hopes that she sees Kris Statlander there. As for tonight, she is keeping an eye on the action.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes beats Johnny TV after Taya Valkyrie gets ejected from ringside for trying to slap Dustin. After the match, Dustin thanks the fans for not abandoning him after all these years, the locker room, the production crew, AEW founder and President Tony Khan and the cameramen. Dustin then addresses "Scapegoat" Jack Perry, saying that Perry was missed when he left, but when he came back, he attacked Tony Khan and joined The Elite. He then tells Perry that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has never worked a day in his life, and recalls Dusty Rhodes' "Hard Times" promo as he says that Perry "ain't sacrificed shit," unlike himself. He remembers seeing Jack Perry as a young kid, but knows him now as a young brat, and says Perry is only mediocre because he is a follower and not a leader, and when one is a follower, the view never changes. Dustin then says he and Perry have a match this Wednesday on Dynamite, and tells Perry that he is going to destroy "[his] little punk ass," as he knows Perry cannot beat him fair and square.

We see a vignette for Zack Sabre Jr., who says that he is returning for some unfinished business with Orange Cassidy at Forbidden Door.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) beat Trip Jordy and Dante Leon.

We hear from Scorpio Sky, who says that there is a gap in AEW and that all of its heroes have fallen. He says that an open hand is not as strong as a closed fist, and on the backs of fallen stars, he will be the fans' hero, voice and champion, as he is here for the fans.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Lady Frost. After the match, Toni Storm says Mariah May has had a really tough time recently, and says that she will be facing Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door, and while things may be awkward for Mariah, she is proud of her and has never had anyone to look out for her. She says that wants to do the same for her, and has demanded that Mariah May be part of the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She then tells Mariah that she will be there for her every step of the way.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo), Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti. Action Andretti says Lee Moriarty was his first match and that Moriarty has grown since then, and Lee Moriarty says that he beat him last time and that next time will be no different. Shane Taylor says the past is history, that Moriarty is now part of the baddest fight team in AEW, and that Top Flight and Andretti cannot outwrestle them, as Andretti is the only one with heart and all of them are overgrown stuntmen. He says they will see if they can really rumble next week.

Backstage, Hook and Samoa Joe discuss lacrosse before ganging up on The Premiere Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari), while "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata tags along. Joe tells "Smart" Mark Sterling "We did this to you." Shibata's phone says "There is no crying in wrestling."

Daniel Garcia beats Tate Mayfairs.

We see a video package for Zeuxis, who will face Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship next week on Dynamite.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Orange Cassidy. Orange says that all of his friends are gone and are trying to attack him, and has gone from everyone wanting to team with him to being alone. He says he is more worried about getting through tonight than Forbidden Door.

Orange Cassidy beats Kyle O'Reilly. During the match, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) watches from the front row, and even gives advice to O'Reilly. After the match, Orange is attacked from behind by Trent Beretta and Kyle Fletcher. Kyle O'Reilly sees this happening on the way to the back and fights Trent and Fletcher, but he also gets attacked. Kris Statlander shows up and shake hands with Trent Beretta, then Willow Nightingale runs in and chases Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway away before checking on Orange. The two of them help O'Reilly up as the show ends.
