He says that Ciampa can list his accolades, but he has no way of knowing which version of Jericho he will get and that all of them will kick his ass. Ciampa says that this is the version of Jericho that he wanted from the beginning and that he wanted this match for a very long time. He then says that he has an idea, and that at Beach Break on July 8th, they will have a match, and Jericho will either prove who he says he is or prove that Ciampa is better than him. Jericho accepts the challenge, then says that tonight, they fight. Nevertheless, Athena feels Billie has what it takes to survive in pro wrestling, but if she does not prove she can beat the best, she will be a minion forever. Athena says that Billie has tried to beat her, but has kept her in her place. She says that she tried to be a parent to her and have Billie's back, but when she tries things her way, she fails. She says that when she does listen, she succeeds. Athena says that Billie wears her emotions on her sleeve even though she does not want her to, and says that she and Billie are each others' supporters. When told that her greatest challengers are the ones that she has created, Athena says that this is by design, and that those who have stuck with her have survived the longest. Athena says Ring of Honor meant so much to her as a kid and when Tony Khan bought ROH, she took advantage of the situation and built herself and others up to the point that she has created multiple dream matches and the opportunity to give back every chance she gets. All of a sudden, Nigel McGuinness shows up and says they can do this tonight instead of waiting until Supercard of Honor if Woods wants to take liberties with other wrestlers. Woods says he will wait until the pay-per-view to beat Nigel in front of the world and leaves, and Nigel says he might take some liberties himself.

We hear from Red Velvet, who says that Supercard of Honor is all about proving she is the best Women's World Television Champion of all time. She says that she and Viva Van go way back and have both teamed with and wrestled against each other and knows how talented Viva Van is, and she respects that as well as Viva Van. She then says respect does not change reality and that she made her title important, and that she carries the women's division on her back with pride. Red Velvet says she is the R in Ring of Honor and the V in TV Champion, and Viva Van will be facing the backbone of the women's division, and when the dust clears, she will still be champion.

Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Eddie Kingston, Ortiz and Mance Warner after Christyan XO distracts both referee Stephon Smith and Mance Warner, allowing Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo to double-team Mance Warner to win and retain.

We hear from "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, who says that he has known Ace Austin for over ten years and has battled him throughout the East Coast, and that he will do it again in Maryland. He knows how amazing an athlete Ace Austin is and knows that Ace got one up on him, so he has earned this opportunity. He then tells Austin that he is in the ring with the best pure wrestler in the world and that he does not have an ace up his sleeve that can beat him.

In backstage footage from after All Elite Wrestling Dynamite, Ace Austin says that he is undefeated in Ring of Honor, and while he has lost more than he has won on Dynamite, he stood toe to toe with Will Opsreay and shook hands with him afterwards. He says failure happens only when you quit, but there is a lot to be learned from loss and has learned more from losses than any amount of wins, which is why he has yet to be beaten in Ring of Honor. Austin says his friendship with "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty does not matter and that their paths are different and that Moriarty has a firm grip on the ROH Pure Championship, but that does not last forever. He says that The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) has beaten Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty) once and that it is only a matter of time before Moriarty loses that grip and he wins the Pure Championship.

"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo beats Kaci Lennox in a Pure Rules Match by submission with the Fujiwara Arm Bar. After the match, Purrazzo is attacked from behind by Diamanté, who hits her with the ROH Women's Pure Championship before locking in a Fujiwara Arm Bar.

All of a sudden, Billie Starkz shows up angry at Athena for making things about her, but Athena says that Billie and the entire women's division should be thanking her, especially when she keeps Billie Starkz by her side after everything she goes through with her. She says that Billie and the rest of the women's division would not exist and that there would be no Ring of Honor. Billie reluctantly thanks Athena, who tells her to "follow the damn plan" or else she will have more than her to deal with.

He says that he learns and moves forward, and that he will see everyone again, hopefully at Collision when somebody wants to step forward.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega) beat The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, Rey Hechicero, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) in a $1,000,000 (£750,000) Winner Takes All Trios Match. After the match, The Don Callis Family attack, then Okada and Takeshita get on the same page for once and Matt and Nick Jackson. After that, they start fighting again, but that does not last long when Omega gets back into the ring with a push broom and swings it at them. Takeshita and Okada flee, as does Don Callis, who also drops the bag containing $1 million.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring for a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at Worlds End. "Hangman" Adam Page is introduced first, followed by Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, followed by Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe shows up with Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs on his way to the ring. Joe says that when it comes to Hangman and Swerve, the sum is always volatile and unpredictable, and that his friends are here in case there is anything to trigger anyone into doing something stupid. Joe then signs the contract. Swerve says he came back to AEW for the World Championship, and if the finish of that match was different, he would be coming after Joe. He also notes that there is a bit of mutual respect between himself and Hangman despite what they have both done to each other. Swerve then mentions that he hates Joe just as much as he respects Hangman, all because Joe left him laying in a pool of his own blood in their last contract signing and he ended up beating him for the World title, which he plans to do again. He also hopes to leave a bootprint on Joe's face that will be uglier than the face tattoo he had in 2007. Swerve tells Joe and Hangman to bring their best to Worlds End, because you cannot kill a god with bullets. Swerve signs the contract. Hangman mentions that he and Joe once fought together to take the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, but acknowledges that Swerve or Joe could have been champion. In the end, he ended up beating Moxley to become World Champion. Hangman says that he knew both Joe and Swerve would find a way to face him for the World Championship. He says he gave Joe that opportunity, but when he failed, he turned into something worse than Moxley. He says that Joe may be World Champion, but he has no self-respect, and that the title is all he has left. Hangman says he planned the World Championship against everyone who helped him, including Swerve. He says that if Swerve defeated him, he would have accepted that defeat and handed the title to him. Hangman says that Joe will not be leaving Worlds End as World Champion, as he has messed up by making enemies out of him and Swerve. Hangman signs the contract, and as Tony Schiavione announces that this is official, the lights go out. MJF's theme then plays, and MJF shows up for the first time in months. "Smart" Mark Sterling is on the outside to give MJF his Casino Gauntlet contract, which MJF signs. MJF cashes in his guaranteed World Championship match, making the match a four-way match. MJF says he is executing this contract and facing three men instead of one, then MJF takes what Hangman said about him being a coward and saying that he will beat him and his two greatest rivals in one fell swoop to really hurt Hangman. MJF tells Joe that he still hates Joe for taking the World title from him and making the fans turn on him in response, then says the fans dictate who goes down as an all-time great and says that he must go down as an all-time great. He tells Joe that his time has just run out and that he will make Joe fall back harder than his hairline, and at Worlds End - where Joe ended his title reign - he will end Joe's reign. Swerve tells MJF that if he should be afraid of anyone, it is him. MJF mentions the history that he and Swerve both have (while making light of Swerve's run in WWE) as well as Swerve's time in AEW, then says that Swerve is in his way and that AEW is his house and rent is due, and the Devil is here to collect. He then says he will handle all his family business in one night like Michael Corleone and win the AEW World Championship.

Copeland has to stop Christian from doing his full "Shut your mouths while I am conducting business" and chalks him still doing it up to being an asshole, then says sometimes one needs an asshole and that Christian is his asshole. Christian says he has taken time to actually find himself and found that he does not need to change and that he is perfect just the way that he is. He admits that he and Copeland are not on the same page by a long shot, but at this point, they are writing in the same book, and while some people were expecting a happy reunion, this reunion is one made out of necessity. Christian says that Copeland is helping him with his problems while he helps Copeland with his problems, and while he cannot promise anything beyond that, this version of himself will still be the best tag team partner Copeland ever had. As Copeland and Christian shake hands, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne show up. Sabian accuses Christian of pandering for the fans that he despised, and Mother Wayne points at the video screen and a message from "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne. Nick Wayne says Christian came out to save his old friend Copeland, and while Christian did not take his head off, he broke his life, which saved his life for the time being, and took Forbidden Door from him. He says that he would have turned a reunion into a farewell tour at Forbidden Door and taken their careers from them, and says that while it is a blessing in disguise he will not be there, he warns that he is always one step ahead. He says MJF cannot handle anything head-on because he does not have the balls to do it. Hangman says that calling MJF out to beat him up a few days early is a waste of time due to MJF being an insecure and gutless coward, then says there will be nothing underhanded or back-stabbing at Forbidden Door when he shoves his boot up MJF's ass. MJF's music hits, but MJF fails to show, and Tony Schiavone tells Hangman that MJF is backstage and that if Hangman leaves the ring before finishes, something bad is going to happen. MJF appears on the video screen, states that Hangman is at his most vulnerable when he is angry, and reveals that he, Ricochet and Gates of Agony have kidnapped Mark Briscoe. MJF requests three things in exchange for Briscoe, and if he rejects any of them, he will set Briscoe on fire. MJF demands a title change by disqualification, a title change by count-out, and demands that he does not have to use his Casino Gauntlet Contract to face Hangman at Forbidden Door. Tony Schiavone introduces Christian Cage to the ring. On the subject of being told by Adam Copeland to go find himself, Christian Cage says that he is an asshole who is numb to the world and everything in it and that he was only obsessed with being AEW World Champion. He says that after he cashed in and hit the perfect Spear, he came into contact with his past, became "an asshole with feeling," and it cost him everything. Christian says that while he has no problem with Kip Sabian and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne standing up to him, they have not earned the right to question him, for he has done more in the business than they have in their entire careers. He says he took a risk and deviated from the plan because he did not think The Patriarchy (Wayne, Sabian, Mother Wayne) would pull the plan off, and states that they know nothing about risk after they rode off his coattails as he did everything that he did. Christian says he has also heard what Copeland has said to him, then asks if what he said to him was really that bad, as he himself was an opportunist who did unsavory things to get to the top. He then tells Copeland that they are so different, yet somehow, they are the same. As for The Patriarchy, they embarrassed him at All In and decided they did not need a patriarch before making some innuendos regarding Mother Wayne. As for Nick Wayne, he asks him how it will go when he has to show up and actually fight, for he has answered the bell for the things he has said. He says that Nick Wayne had more talent than he did and that he protected him from everything, and while Nick Wayne has every tool to be the new face of AEW now and forever, he will have to go through him to do it. Christian then tells Nick Wayne that he has a father who is dead and a father who is dead to him, and officially disowns Nick Wayne. On the way out, Mother Wayne shows up and tries to slap Christian Cage, but it serves as a distraction for Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian to ambush Christian. Nick Wayne disowns Christian in turn before he and Sabian clap metal folding chairs into both sides of Christian's head.

Backstage, we hear from FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway. Stokely says Adam Copeland is banned from the building tonight after his recent action, and that The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) committed "an act of cowardice." Suddenly, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) show up, and FTR puts their past beef behind them as they hope to see them in the finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament. Stokely tries to make The Young Bucks flinch as FTR leaves.

As security deals with them, Marina Shafir hands the AEW World Championship to Moxley, who hits Hangman in the head with the title only for Hangman to kick out. Paul Turner sees Marina Shafir and removes her from ringside, and when security confronts her, Shafir has to be held back by Claudio as she apologizes to Moxley while fending security off. As security does their job, Darby Allin shows up and takes out Claudio, Yuta, Shafir and all of security with a dive off a balcony. Hangman hits a distracted Moxley with a Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley escapes Deadeye and goes for a sleeper. Hangman counters the sleeper with a Deadeye, then hits another Buckshot Lariat to win and retain.

MJF brings up Swerve Strickland to try to coerce a title shot out of Hangman, but Hangman is not having this and tells MJF that he will have to face Mark Briscoe to get to him before stating there is nothing to stop him from beating MJF's ass.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Willow Nightingale, who says that she has a match with "The Toxic Spider" Thekla tomorrow night on Collision.

Mark Briscoe beats Ricochet. During the match, Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) show up, and as they get involved in the match, Bandido and Brody King show up to take them out so that Briscoe can get the win. After the match, Mark Briscoe says tonight is just getting started before calling out MJF for evoking Jay Briscoe's name more than once, then says he has never felt like this before and that he needs help. He says that if he kills MJF in cold blood, he will not see his brother in Heaven, for he will not repent and he will not even feel the slightest bit of remorse. Briscoe tells MJF to make his day and face him in the ring right here and right now. MJF's entrance theme hits, but MJF shows up on the video screen. MJF says he is not an idiot and that he considers Briscoe a waste of his time, and that next week, he will face Briscoe to get to "Hangman" Adam Page. He then says this assumes that Mark Briscoe makes it, and MJF suddenly shows up from behind Briscoe and kicks him in the groin and attacks him before asking who the real coward is. MJF puts on the Dynamite Diamond Ring, then "Hangman" Adam Page shows up. MJF rushes out of the ring to avoid both a Buckshot Lariat and a Jay Driller.

Collision Course - Collision recap for April 12, 2025

It is announced that Jon Moxley will be replacing PAC as one of the World Trios Champions due to an injury that PAC has suffered in the last week.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring. He had hopes that Dax would be wrong, but it became clear to him that Copeland only cared for himself and held FTR back to raise up his own career. He says that when Copeland was down on the mat, he had to be the one to do it. He says that he is not the helpless kid that Copeland once saw him as and that Copeland disrespected him as a man, and that anyone who disrespects him will have to pay. Cash says FTR are grown men and will be treated as such. Dax says that last week, he saw a sign in the crowd that said "Why FTR Why," then says "Why not?" He says the fans should be thanking them, as they gave Copeland everything he wanted, as he begged for relevancy at FTR's expense and FTR gave it to him. He says that regardless of what the fans thing, what FTR did was right, and while they do not owe anyone an explanation, he will have fun with this. Dax says FTR was irrelevant for four months so that Copeland could win one more world title and prove he is still the man. He says Copeland is "too damn selfish," especially after FTR has won ten tag titles in seven worldwide companies, then says there are fans and people in the locker room are not happy with, and asks Tony Schiavone to come to the ring. Nigel McGuinness tries to talk Tony Schiavone out of this, but Tony heads to the ring anyway. He tells FTR that they were wrong, and after they brought tag team wrestling back, they turned on Copeland. He also says that he mentioned Dax's daughter being affected by all this. This leads to FTR attacking Tony. Nigel stands up, takes off his headset and heads to the ring before they can do the spike piledriver, and tells him to get out. Daniel Garcia runs into the ring, and Dax shoves him. Nigel gets Tony out of the ring, and FTR help Garcia up before hugging him and leaving. Garcia checks on Schiavone.

We hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir). Claudio says they expected casualties, but they do not mourn them, for only in death does duty end. He says they are still front and center and that they will accept The Opps' (Samoa Joe, Hook, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) challenge. Claudio says this will be a lesson for "play wrestlers" who do not want to come to work, and that what matters is in the front line. He says that this will be Hook's biggest match ever, but reminds him that chicks dig scars.

Dax Harwood accepts their challenge for tonight, and that Daniel Garcia will be at ringside.

Anthony Bowens beats Blake Christian after Billy Gunn helps take out "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson on the outside. After the match, Bowens says this has been a long time coming and that it is time to level up, as he is AEW's "five-tool player" and "the pride of professional wrestler." He says he does not need a trademark to say he is the best because he will prove it every week. He then asks who will be the next to step up and get Mollywhopped by the Five Tool Player.

Megan Bayne beats LMK and Kelly Madan in a two-on-one handicap match.

After the match, Daniel Garcia - who confronted FTR for the two spike piledrivers and the attempt at a third one - confronts FTR again. FTR leaves as Garcia checks on Daddy Magic, then return and attack Garcia before hitting him with a spike piledriver. Security and referees show up before FTR can hit a second one, and referee Mikey Posey gets shoved before FTR go for the move again. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) rush in and force FTR to retreat.

Athena beats Harley Cameron to advance in the women's Owen hart Tournament.

We hear from Mercedes Moné, who says that she will be in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, where she made her debut and had the biggest dream of holding all the gold. She calls Athena a speed bump on her track to success, and while she is the best, she is competing against her, and at Dynamite, she will show why money changes everything and why the best woman and the one who wins is her.

In a backstage exclusive, Renee Paquette interviews QT Marshall says this is not what happened and that Hauser is a fan, then mentions that Hauser tried to embarrass him by putting him in a headlock when he has six screws in his neck, and that when you embarrass yourself in Hollywood, you get something thrown at you. After stating that the fact that there was alcohol in the cup is not his problem, he says Hauser owes him an apology, but since Hauser wants a match, all he has to do is look him in the eye like a man and challenge him, and if he shows him the respect he deserves, he just might get it.
