Collision Course - Collision recap for July 30, 2026

The show starts with the sudden appearance of The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), their first national television appearance since being released from WWE. Chris Sabin asks "Did you really think we wouldn't be here?" before stating that there is no better place to be than "the greatest place in modern civilization" and the city they have loved and represented for twenty years. Sabin says that AEW is where the best wrestle, then Alex Shelley says that in more ways than one, they are home, and it is their immense pleasure to say that "The Motor City Machine Guns are All Elite."

The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed).

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong), who reveal that they are all in the AEW Continental Challenge Cup and will also take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

It is announced that the AEW Continental Challenge Cup will start next week with sixteen competitors in a single-elimination tournament. Jon Moxley will be in the tournament, and all of the participants will be drawn at random. The winner will earn a shot at the AEW Continental Championship at All In. Nigel McGuinness announces that he will be in the tournament.

Tommaso Ciampa quickly beats Nick Comoroto.

Backstage, we hear from "Hangman" Adam Page. Hangman says that last night was not what he expected when Brody King shows up and thanks him for having his back. Bandido also shows up and thanks Hangman. Hangman says that he does not know what to do with himself in AEW now, then mentions that Grand Slam Mexico and challenging for the AEW World Trios Championships. Bandido mentions naming their trio "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly," then Hangman and Bandido walk away when Brody asks who the ugly one is.

The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) and Hazuki beat Athena, Billie Starkz and Diamanté in a six-woman tag match. After the match, The Brawling Birds are attacked from behind by The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross), while Hazuki is attacked from behind by Athena.

Backstage, we hear from The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) and The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, "Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian, "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson). Ricochet asks "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido who they think they are demanding anything from The Demand before accepting their challenge so The Demand can putting them down. Jay Lethal says that Komander has big dreams of competing at Grand Slam Mexico, but he plans to crush him and those dreams tonight.

The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) sit in a wading pool to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Rhyno and Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope) get to dump the ice.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC) beat The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) in an eight-man tag match. After the match, PAC and Wheeler Yuta briefly attack Juice Robinson, then leave the ring before The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay) show up and attack Austin and Colten Gunn from behind. Finlay is about to strike Juice with the shillelagh when The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) rush into the ring with metal folding chairs. The Death Riders get on the apron, but then back down, much to Marina Shafir's chagrin. Finlay runs back into the ring only to get hit with 3:10 to Yuma.

Backstage, we hear from Tommaso Ciampa, who talks about how he went to Hell with "The Painmaker" Chris Jericho and survived. He tells everyone to consider this their 90-second warning shot, as he is not dead and he is focused on the Men's Casino Gauntlet at All In. Ciampa says he will face Andrade el Idolo for the #1 slot in the gauntlet match, and while their roads have diverged, they will come together at Grand Slam Mexico.

Kris Statlander beats Aurora Teves.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher says he is the best in the world today and has nothing to prove against Speedball. Speedball says that Fletcher is not the best and will never be the best until he breaks free from Don Callis, and at Grand Slam Mexico, he wants Fletcher on his own so he can beat him decisively. Fletcher kicks Speedball in the face in response, and this leads to a brawl that makes it way to the ring. Fletcher tries to hit Speedball with the AEW International Champonship, but gets Superkicked. Fletcher Superkicks Speedball to counter the Tornado Kick, but Speedball hits a hurricanrana and a double stomp. Fletcher rolls out of the ring before Speedball can hit the Tornado Kick, and Speedball raises the International Championship in the ring.

Backstage, we hear from "The Jet" Kevin Knight. Knight says that TNT is home to a lot of great champions, including himself, and says that The Don Callis Family is a family of champions past, present and future. He then issues a challenge to any three former champions who want to face The Don Callis Family at Grand Slam Mexico.

Komander beats Jay Lethal.

Jon Moxley guests on commentary for the next match.

Will Ospreay beats Daniel Garcia. After the match, Mark Davis attacks Ospreay from out of the crowd, and Trent Beretta and Rocky "Azucar" Romero gets involved as Ospreay and Davis go into the crowd. Beretta and Romero get Ospreay back in the ring, and Davis tells Ospreay that he is not so tough without anyone coming to save him. Davis tries to hit Ospreay with a chair as Beretta and Romero hold Ospreay down, but Ospreay kicks at Davis, breaks free, and sends all three men running out of the ring before telling Davis that if he wanted to bring weapons into the situation, all he had to do was ask. He says that if Davis thinks he is nothing without The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir), then he must show there is no hesitation left, and at Grand Slam Mexico, not only are all seconds banned from ringside, but their match is a Mexico City Street Fight.
