Let's Go! - LFG recap for July 26, 2026

We see Kam Hendrix come back to LFG. Coach Matt Bloom has stated that Hendrix has used the break as fuel and went back to the drawing board.

Coach Matt Bloom meets with Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley and Kevin Owens. Booker T gets PJ Vasa vs. Wendy Choo. Bloom mentions that the match is a leadership role for Wendy Choo, who PJ Vasa looks up to as a mentor. Bubba Ray gets Elijah Holyfield vs. Chris Island. Bubba says Elijah is getting better with his strengths and weaknesses and is a "legend in the making," but wishes he could say the same about Chris Island. Bloom says Island needs to dive into who he is rather than be a different character. Bubba says that Island will get "the best of the best of the best" of him. Kevin Owens gets Kam Hendrix vs. newcomer Shady Elnahas, a former Olympian with a judo background who has never wrestled in front of a crowd before.

Booker T meets with Wendy Choo and PJ Vasa. Choo has been wrestling for about twelve years at this point, and she has the honor to coach a lot of the newer girls in LFG while also getting to learn as well. PJ Vasa wants to tell the story that "P-Nasty is nasty" no matter who she faces. PJ Vasa is tasked with getting Wendy Choo over, and Booker T tells her that her losses should be better than her wins.

Wendy Choo beats PJ Vasa. Bubba Ray Dudley feels that PJ Vasa needs to work on the intensity of her ring entrance, but other than that, he and Booker T approve of the match. After the match, Booker T wants the intensity to radiate from the moment she shows up and heads to the ring for her entrance. Coach Bloom says that PJ Vasa answered the call and knew when to bring the fight. Wendy Choo says that the reactions she got from the crowd during the match were exactly what she wanted. PJ Vasa considers the match her best one yet.

Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Elijah Holyfield and Chris Island. Bubba Ray feels that Chris Island does not know who he is even after being on LFG all this time, and that if Island does not know who he is, then neither does he and neither do the fans. When Island says that he is the one for his city and the one for his family and friends, Bubba Ray comes up with the vision of Island being a fighter for his family and friends and tells him that this is who he needs to be. Bubba Ray gives the meat of the match to Chris to see the aggression from him that he has been waiting to see for so long, and wants Elijah to be "bigger," flexing in front of the hard cam and showing so much rage that he is almost afraid of what will happen to Island when he snaps.

Before the next match, Bubba Ray tells Chris Island that this is the match where Island turns a corner and that nobody will be talking about the old Chris Island afterwards. Island then does a run-in and attacks Holyfield from behind.

Elijah Holyfield beats Chris Island. After the match, Chris Island felt that both of their selling abilities felt the same, and when Bubba Ray tells Elijah not to keep his face down while selling while down and that he might as well not go out to the ring if he keeps doing that, Elijah walks away before he does something he might regret. Chris Island sees where Elijah is coming from, and Bubba Ray has to talk to him and tell him not to keep his face down while selling.

Kevin Owens meets with Kam Hendrix and Shady Elnahas. Elnahas grew up in Egypt and got into judo because he was a fan of pro wrestling, which was harder to break into, making judo the next best thing. Elnahas then talks about his Olympic progress and the call from WWE. Hendrix says that he worked on a lot of things in his time off from LFG. Elnahas learns of the unwritten rule of not performing other wrestlers' moves, and considers adding a Flatliner to the Sling Blade.

Kam Hendrix beats Shady Elnahas. Coach Bloom says that Kam Hendrix bounced back stronger than ever. Shawn Michaels tells Elnahas that he had a good first match and to continue to focus on the basics. Owens tells Elnahas that he should focus on being his own person after doing a top rope moonsault much like Tiffany Stratton (who Elnahas is currently in a relationship with).
