Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for July 23, 2026

"Blackheart" Lio Rush retains the ROH World Television Championship against "Main Man" Oro. After the match, Lio Rush is attacked from behind by Action Andretti, who rams Lio Rush's head into the center plate of the Television Championship only for it to have no effect. Andretti has to ram Rush's head into the center plate one more time before putting him in a chancery, which causes what looks like a green slime to briefly emanate from Lio Rush's mouth.

"The Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith beats Alan Angels.

Billie Starkz beats B3CCA.

Backstage, we hear from Adam Brooks, who talks about how he signed his first contract with ROH in 2020 only for his dream to be taken away from him by the COVID-19 pandemic. He then talks about his match with Will Ospreay on Collision, and while he came up short, he proved that he belongs in the ring. He says that he is coming back to ROH and that he is going to stay in ROH.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling brags about how The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) whipped Beef into shape, then says there is not a chance in hell that they could do the same for the fans. He then allows the fans to say The Premier Athletes rule only to be told that they suck.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) beat The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds). During the match, Beef shows up at ringside, and he does not take part in any rulebreaking tactics unless the end of the match, when he hits Alex Reynolds with a cross body on the outside behind the referee's back.

Before the next match, Rocky "Azucar" Romero announces that The Don Callis Family has had nothing but success for the last few months, but he and Beretta have not had the success that the family holds. Romero then announces that Don Callis has provided them with an open contract for a fight for, as Trent Beretta, "one of those easy Ring of Honor wins." Beretta demands some enhancement talent, but gets Alex Zayne and Mance Warner instead.

The Don Callis Family (Rocky "Azucar" Romero and Trent Beretta) beat Alex Zayne and Mance Warner after Beretta punches Warner in the groin behind the referee's back prior to Strong Zero. After the match, Beretta hits Warner with another low blow, but Eddie Kingston and Ortiz run into the ring before Beretta and Romero can hit Warner with Strong Zero, forcing them to flee through the crowd.

Backstage, we hear from Nathan Cruz, who has heard everything Adam Brooks has had to say and tells Brooks to stop crying and complaining when he has been applying his trade all over the world for the last two decades in over 1900 matches and is only now getting his opportunity in Ring of Honor. He says that Brooks will not become a sensation like Will Ospreay, and becomes the first to welcome Brooks to Ring of Honor before proving that head to toe, he is a pro.

Satnam Singh beats Jacked Jameson.

Caprice Coleman chops it up with "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo says that while she was glad to carry the ROH Women's World Championship through the COVID-19 public health emergency as its second-ever holder, she gets to define the Women's Pure Division as the very first Women's Pure Champion. She talks about how she has seen a lot of Jay Lethal's matches and how she trusts Jay Lethal for feedback on ideas. Purrazzo says that she hsa been working on creating a life for herself outside of wrestling by going for her master's degree and working with veterans' and first responders' organizations. On the subject of what she wants the Women's Pure Division to look like, Purrazzo wants the division to be on par with the rest of women's wrestling and to defend the Women's Pure Championship in the main event.

Hyan beats Lacey Lane.

Adam Brooks beats Nathan Cruz.

Backstage, we hear from Rocky "Azucar" Romero and Trent Beretta. Beretta says they came here to face no-name guys for easy wins, but instead, they get guys they know about and competitive matches. He also wants to know why Eddie Kingston and Ortiz are getting involved. Romero says that Don Callis signed them up for easy wins, but Eddie and Ortiz embarrassed them. Beretta then says that they will soon embarass Eddie and Ortiz, and Romero challenges them to a match.

We see a video package for Angelico vs. "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty for the ROH Pure Championship next week.

Komander beats "Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington.

Skyflight (Scorpio Sky, Darius Martin, Dante Martin, Matt Sydal) beat Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Anthony Ogogo) in an eight-man tag match.
