Backstage, Matt Hardy apologizes to "All Ego" Ethan Page for losing their Trios titles match and takes responsibility for the loss. Ethan Page says that a camera will not cause him to care about what the fans think or to take it easy on Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy says that he is making this apology in front of the world he did not want this to happen, and that Ethan Page has motivated him to turn back the clock and focus on wrestling first and foremost, and that he has never tagged with someone like him, and mentions that the two of them are good fathers and have a decent fashion sense before gifting him with a shirt. Ethan Page is convinced to see how far their partnership can go, but reminds Matt Hardy that he is still his boss.
Big Bill beats Gino Rivera (known as "Gino" here).
The Baddies (Jade Cargill and Leila Grey) beat Dulce Tormenta and DD Doom. Jade Cargill is 52-0.
"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Jastin Taylor.
Before the next match, Vickie Guerrero is cheered on the way to the ring, with the fans also chanting for Eddie Guerrero.
Emi Sakura and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beat Skye Blue and Madison Rayne.
Yuka Sakazaki beats Vertvixen. After the match, Yuka is attacked from behind by Athena, who then traps one of her legs behind the ring steps before hitting the steps with a running drop kick.
"The Technical Beast" Josh Woods beats Man Scout.
Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) beat Aydan Colt and Frank Stone.
"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry beats "All Ego" Ethan Page. During the match, Hook shows up and distracts Ethan Page. Jungle Boy tries to pin Ethan Page with a Sunset Flip, but Ethan sits down to counter it and grabs Matt Hardy's hair only for Matt Hardy to smack his hand away so that Jungle Boy can reverse the pinfall attempt with one of his own for the win. After the match, Stokely Hathaway blames Matt Hardy for Ethan Page's loss, and Ethan Page - after chewing Matt Hardy out to the point that Matt Hardy pleads that he is Ethan's friend and that he has his back - says Matt Hardy owes him and challenges Jungle Boy and Hook to a tag team match against him and Matt Hardy on next week's Dynamite. Afterwards, Stokely puts Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy on "time-out" until then.
Tony Schiavone interviews Ortiz in the ring. Ortiz says he thought Eddie Kingston was his friend, but he has completely lost it and has fallen victim to The House of Black's (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart) mind games when he almost hit Julia Hart with a chair. He then says he should be talking to Eddie, and calls him out to handle things face-to-face. Eddie Kingston shows up with a chair in his hand, then tells Schiavone to leave. Ortiz chews Eddie out for trying to hit Julia Hart with a child, telling him that in their world, he does not do that. He also confronts Eddie for showing up with a chair in his hand, then says what bothers him the most is that his mentors would call Eddie a coward. Eddie then hits Ortiz in the gut with the chair, then leaves.
We hear from Darby Allin, who says that beating Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship felt like the best moment of his life. He then says that he wants to defend his championship weekly, and as people tell him to slow down, he wants to defend until the wheels fall off. He says that he is not done with The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews) following their disappearance and return, then says that it is about proving himself and that he must beat every member of The House of Black, whom he dares to show up on Dynamite.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks last eliminates Matt Hardy and "All Ego" Ethan Page to win the 2022 Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. After the match, MJF shows up. He says "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is not here because he is terrified of him after what he did to William Regal, then says he will become a four-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner and the AEW World Champion. He then mentions that the fans love Ricky Starks and view him as some underrated wrestling god before telling him that in comparison to him, Ricky Starks is "the absolute drizzling shits" and a "roody-poo candy ass." MJF says Ricky Starks stole everything from The Rock and is "a dollar store Dwayne" before deciding he will call him "The Pebble" and put him in his pocket, hop into his new Porsche and skip him all the way back to NWA. Starks bumps into MJF as he grabs a microphone before calling "Maxi pad" a "fifth-rate Roddy Piper" and making fun of his promo style and his "cheap" appearance before saying he knows nothing of the responsibility of being AEW World Champion. He then says that he kept the people going and delivered every single time while MJF walked out and took three months off because he wasn't getting paid enough, then says he lives with dignity and respect while MJF knows nothing of the sort. Starks then says that next week, he is putting up and shutting up and he will take the AEW World Championship from him and the responsibility of being champion off his plate. MJF responds with a kick to the groin. We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that he is starting to like "Hangman" Adam Page after he got off his horse, dusted himself off, got back on and did all his talking with his fist, which he says there is not enough of in AEW. He says that this weekend, The Blackpool Combat Club will bring back "100-proof" professional wrestling and that he will be at ringside on Friday as they put The Jericho Appreciation Society in the rear view mirror for good.
Samoa Joe retains the TNT Championship against Darby Allin after reversing a Coffin Drop with the rear naked choke. After the match, Darby Allin shoves Joe and dares him to hurt him more. Joe headbutts Darby, then grabs Darby's skateboard, puts it down wheels-up, and hits the Muscle Buster on Darby on the wheels. Joe then chokes Darby out again, and as referees try to pull Joe off of Darby, Wardlow runs into the ring and chases Joe away.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Orange Cassidy and Kip Sabian. Orange tells Sabian that if he wants a shot at the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, all he had to do was ask. Sabian accuses Orange of waiting until he is hurt to do something like this, then Orange tells Sabian that if he cannot fight this week on Rampage, then he had better find someone who can.
We hear from Chris Jericho, who says that Claudio Castagnoli does not have the belief that he can beat him when it counts, and that he will beat Claudio and force him to join The Jericho Appreciation Society, which he says will be the best thing for Claudio. He then says that he will look forward to beating Claudio and taking him under his wing afterwards.
The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) beat The Jericho Appreciation Society (Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia) after Cesaro rolls out of the ankle lock from Hager, breaking the hold as well as Garcia's Dragon Tamer on Yuta before hitting a European uppercut on Hager for the win. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio, Yuta) and shows an interview with William Regal from a few weeks ago where Regal says he took exception to what MJF did to Schiavone and gave him what he wanted. He says that everyone will be chasing MJF, then says that while The Blackpool Combat Club did not need him, they did not want to let him go. He says he had to lead by example, and that he did what he did was to teach them one final thing. That final thing is to stay one step ahead and to keep eyes in the back of one's head. He then says he is Blackpool Combat Club until the day that he dies and that "it's been emotional." Moxley says he knows one thing is for sure, and that is he, Claudio and Yuta bleed for the sports of professional wrestling, and at Final Battle, their war with The Jericho Appreciation Society will be over. He says that the three of them will make their statement, as will professional wrestling, this weekend.
We hear from Malakai Black, who says that there is a corruption in AEW that it is up to them to stop that corruption. Julia Hart says the crime is treason, and Buddy Matthews says the verdict is war. Brody King says that they will tear the meat from the bone and that the sentence is extermination. Malakai Black then dares anyone from the locker room to go against The House of Black (Malakai, Julia, Matthews, King).
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Jamie Hayter. Hayter says the women's division has been getting interesting, but she is at the top of the totem pole while everyone is grinding their way up while she is busy reigning and defending. She says Hikaru Shida's Regina Di Wave championship match against The Bunny will not hold a candle compared to her championship, but she says that whoever wins that match will face her for the AEW Women's World Championship.
The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Leila Grey) beat Madison Rayne, Skye Blue and Kiera Hogan in a trios match. Jade Cargill's record is now 43-0.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Saraya when Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. on the biggest win of her career before saying it will never happen again and that she had a pay-per-view match against her handed to her. She then hands Saraya tickets to the show at January 11th, then Saraya says she would love to beat Britt again. Britt says she has Jamie Hayter with her at all times, and tells her to find a tag team partner for that night.
The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) after Caster reverses a jackknife pin from Cash Wheeler. After the match, both teams scissor in a sign of respect, then The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) show up on the video screen and mock FTR, then announces through a Christmas card signed in blood that The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) will fight FTR at Final Battle in a Double Dog Collar Match as they pull two dog collars with metal chains out of Christmas stockings.

Darby Allin beats Swerve Strickland to qualify for the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament after "Absolute" Ricky Starks walks down the ramp only for Sting to force him to back off, which distracts Swerve.
We hear from Shawn Spears, who says that Wardlow's opponent is over seven feet tall and has lots of Pinnacle potential before telling Wardlow he is alone and going to slaughter.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland. Darby says he did not things want to end like they did and they can go another five minutes. Strickland says he knew that was not him and that he is rooting for him to win the tournament. Strickland says that this means more unfinished between him and "Absolute" Ricky Starks.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Hardys. Jeff says they love and miss Owen Hart and that he hopes to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament by beating Bobby Fish. Matt Hardy says the potential matches in the tournament are endless. Matt Hardy says Bobby Fish is not qualifying. We then hear from The Undisputed Elite. Adam Cole says there is no way Jeff Hardy will beat Bobby Fish, and three of their members will be in the tournament and one of them will win it. Bobby Fish tells Jeff Hardy's days are numbered.
Danhausen heads to the ring and says Hook has been menacing out for too long with no repercussions, then calls Hook out, saying "Send Hook!" Hook gets in the ring, and Danhausen gets cold feet. Suddenly, "Smart" Mark Sterling shows up and asks the fans if they want to see them fight, then says he does not before Tony Nese shows up from behind and blindsides both men. Hook takes out both "Smart" Mark Sterling and Tony Nese, and both men move away from the ring when Danhausen curses them. Danhausen then looks at Hook to shake his hand, but Hook shoves him out of the way on his way out.
Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews Austin and Colten Gunn. Austin says Colten went toe-to-toe with Keith Lee and that The Gunn Club can do it all, then The Acclaimed show up and want to team up again. Colten gets up and says he will talk to Billy Gunn.
We hear from Mercedes Martinez, who tells Deonna Purrazzo that she is a true champion and that she will become the true ROH Women's World Champion.
Mark Henry interviews Samoa Joe and Trent Barretta. Samoa Joe says that Trent Barretta has convinced himself that he will leave the arena alive and that he will pass out before that can happen. Ian Riccaboni guests on commentary for the next match.

After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Samoa Joe in the ring, but Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh show up and head to the ring. Orange Cassidy, Trent Barretta, and Chuck Taylor confronts them on the way there, but Jay Lethal decks Cassidy and brawls with Joe until officials hold them back.
