Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 19, 2021
Drew McIntyre heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Drew McIntyre says opportunity is a hell of a thing, as sometimes you can work for it and sometimes it falls right into your lap. He says he would get his WWE Championship opportunity eventually, which caused Braun Strowman and Randy Orton to show up. This led to a Triple Threat Match where the winner between him, Strowman and Orton would get a WWE Championship opportunity, which he won. McIntyre then mentions Mace and T-Bar attacking him after that match. McIntyre says that MVP is the mastermind behind that attack and that he has more questions than answers, and when he gets his hands on Mace and T-Bar, he will get a little bit of retribution. As McIntyre says he is in the mood for a fight, MVP shows up. MVP finds it weird that McIntyre did not expect him like he did not expect to fall to the Hurt Lock and says he should expect the unexpected, and says Lashley considers him a worthy opponent to put in the Hurt Lock again. He then says that Lashley is the "Chief Hurt Officer" while he is the vice president, and that they "downsized" The Hurt Business. He then asks why he would hire Mace and T-Bar to hurt him, saying they have no affiliation with him and Lashley. After MVP tells McIntyre that he should look in the mirror, McIntyre says this is all one big coincidence, and as he approaches MVP, he is attacked by Mace and T-Bar once again. Afterwards, Kevin Patrick interviews Mace and T-Bar, who both agree on finishing off Drew McIntyre.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre meets with Adam Pearce, who insists that McIntyre needs a tag team partner, but McIntyre would much rather go it alone.

Pearce says he will see what he can do.
Charlotte Flair heads to the ring. Charlotte says she returned last week demanding respect from the locker room and the fans after all she has done for the industry, and says she came back unapologetically herself. She also says the locker room hates each other as much as they hate her. Charlotte goes on to say a WrestleMania match was taken from her, and says she can beat both Rhea Ripley and Asuka in the same night. She says this is why she is called "the opportunity" and says she will give Asuka an opportunity against her tonight. She admits that while Asuka is talented, it does not mean she has to like her, and that she will prove why she does not like Asuka and why she is the queen. Suddenly, Asuka and Rhea Ripley both show up. Charlotte tells Rhea Ripley to go to the announce table and take some notes, and Rhea says she will take her up on that offer, knowing Asuka will beat Charlotte. Charlotte refuses to let Asuka speak, and Asuka finally gets fed up, yelling "Charlotte! I'm going to beat you, bitch!"

Miz advertises Miz and Mrs. tonight after Raw, then announces that WWE 24/7: The Miz will premiere on Peacock and WWE Network on Sunday. As Miz and Maryse are about to propose a toast, Damian Priest shows up and says Miz is as delusional as Jake Paul thinking he is a real fighter, then replays how The Miz had to get Maryse's help to cheat to win last week. It's time for Alexa's Playground. Alexa Bliss says that her doll Lilly did not come into her life after WrestleMania, and that they have been friends for a very long time. She talks about how they were on a playground once when a girl was mean to her and would not let her eat her ice cream. Alexa then says she "shoved that bitch off the swing" and she fell on her ass and broke her arm. When asked why she did it, she says Lilly made her do it, and that if Lilly doesn't like something, she will be sure to let you know. Alexa then says that Lilly did not like The Fiend and that Lilly does not like the rest of the women's division.
Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. Mandy says Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler are the bullies, not them, then Nia Jax chases them out of the room. As Sheamus issues an open challenge, the open challenge is answered by Humberto Carrillo. Sheamus attacks Carrillo from behind before punishing him at ringside by throwing him into barricades and ring posts. Sheamus then pounds Carrillo with the Ten Beats of the Bodhran on the floor before slamming him back-first into the ring post. Lashley says he has proved all the haters, naysayers and doubters wrong when he did what he set out to do, and after destroying Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber, he will do it again at WrestleMania before destroying everyone on Raw. The Miz and John Morrison show up, and Miz says that while he should be preparing for Drew McIntyre, he had to show up and say Lashley's speech was truly remarkable before congratulating him, saying he and Morrison are all for the Almighty Era. Miz says he was proud to share the ring with Lashley in the last two weeks, then says he feels their rivalry has just begun and that he wants to face Lashley at WrestleMania. Miz then says he does not want to diminish Lashley's accomplishments, then says he had to defend the WWE Championship in two weeks and was suffering from cramps, and says he was not at 100%. As he asks Lashley if he wants to face him at full strength, Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre formally congratulates Lashley on winning the WWE Championship after taking a similar journey to his, but says that when they got to the finish line, he beat 30 men to beat Brock Lesnar in five minutes while Lashley made a deal and screwed him over. MVP tells McIntyre he should be worried about Sheamus before he is worried about Lashley, and as McIntyre says that Lashley can speak for himself, Lashley and Miz tell McIntyre he should be worried about them. McIntyre tells Miz he owes him one, then gives him two options: attack him from behind or run away. He says that if Miz fights him tonight, he will make an example out of him before putting down Sheamus at Fastlane and winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. McIntyre calls Lashley "a big bald bitch" as he says that their match will be "a heavyweight clash for the ages." Lashley takes exception to this as MVP holds him back, and as McIntyre focuses on Miz, Lashley attacks McIntyre from behind. As MVP and Lashley leave, The Miz pounds on McIntyre in the ring. As this goes on, Sheamus attacks Lashley on the stage behind MVP's back, and referees have to force Sheamus to the back while MVP holds Lashley back again.
Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Sheamus, who says he wants Drew McIntyre at 100% so there are no excuses when he beats him and that Lashley is sticking his nose in his business. He then demands a match with Bobby Lashley so he can show the world who he really is and be the one who can beat Bobby Lashley.

Suddenly, R-Truth gifts Bad Bunny with Austin 3:16 merchandise. R-Truth then says he wants the WWE 24/7 Championship back. Bad Bunny says he respects R-Truth and the business and that R-Truth deserves it more than him before giving R-Truth the WWE 24/7 Championsip back. We see another vignette for Rhea Ripley's arrival to Raw.
It's time for Alexa's Playground. Alexa Bliss tells Randy Orton that if he wants her out of his life so badly, he will have to take her out of it, and that Fastlane is his chance. She then asks Orton if she will take that chance.
Asuka beats "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler after countering the Kirifuda Clutch by pinning Baszler's shoulders to the mat. After the match, Baszler gets the Kirifuda Clutch in, then goes to kick another tooth out of Asuka's mouth when Asuka catches her foot and proceeds to decimate her. McIntyre then announces that he will watch the next match from ringside.

Miz goes on to call Shane McMahon making the second match a lumberjack match adding insult to the injury, and says that Lashley manhandled him and got no repercussions for it. Miz says that the only thing WWE did right was grant a championship rematch, and after Lashley's championship was celebrated all last week, he will take back the title this week.

Raw Deal - WWE Raw recap for February 8, 2021
In memory of "The Natural" Butch Reed, 1954 - 2021.
WWE official Adam Pearce is in the ring, where he welcomes Shane McMahon back to Raw. It is then announced that Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber, and that all of his opponents are former WWE Champions: Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, The Miz and Sheamus. After telling Pearce he is doing a great job, Shane tells Pearce that he has made a great Elimination Chamber match before leaving. On the way out, Shane is met by AJ Styles and Omos. Styles says Shane was right when he said Pearce was doing a great job and gives him credit where credit is due, as McIntyre's chances of losing the WWE Championship are phenomenal and that this would make a good time for him to become a three-time WWE Champion. After Styles admits that he always saw Pearce as "a bit of a dumbass," he then says he will give a taste of what will happen in the Elimination Chamber Match just before Jeff Hardy shows up for the next match.
Backstage, Shane McMahon is met by Drew McIntyre, who is surprised by the Elimination Chamber match. Shane says nothing is bigger than him defending in the Chamber, and says that if Drew wants to test his mettle, the Chamber is the place to do it.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Jeff Hardy with the Calf Crusher after targeting the left leg when Hardy tweaks it during the match.
Backstage, Matt Riddle meets with Keith Lee. Riddle admits Bobby Lashley got the best of him, but says that laughter is the best medicine and that he has gotten toasty and binge watched all the Air Bud movies. When Keith Lee asks Riddle if he wants to go for the United States title, Riddle says people tried to stop Air Bud but Air Bud persisted. Keith Lee says it is time for someone new, as he has what it takes to beat Lashley and also beat him. Riddle says "May the best man win," then leaves.
Backstage, Sheamus confronts Adam Pearce for making the Elimination Chamber match. Pearce says that Elimination Chamber needs a big main event, but Sheamus says he has seen officials come and go, break promises and overlook him. He tells Pearce that it will be his responsibility when he unleashes fury on every Superstar in the Chamber.
Mustafa Ali guests on commentary for the next match.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) beats Retribution (T-Bar and Slapjack).
Backstage, Damian Priest and Bad Bunny look at pictures on a phone. Bad Bunny tells Priest he will be in his corner tonight.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Lacey Evans head to the ring. Flair says he does not take orders from any woman, not even his daughter, and while Charlotte Flair is the queen and does not need him, he needs him and he has found someone who has star potential. He says that all Lacey needs is knowledge, wisdom and patience, and if Lacey falls for his charm, so be it. Ric says that Lacey is gunning for Asuka and will become the next WWE Raw Women's Champion. Lacey says that she respects Ric and gives him the respect he deserves unlike Charlotte, and says Charlotte is a fool for turning him away and speaking to Ric like she has. Suddenly, Charlotte shows up. Charlotte says Lacey wants to use her and her dad to further her career instead of training in the WWE Performance Center, and tells Ric that she has been trying to add to her father's legacy while Ric surrounds himself with "yes men." Lacey says she does not want to replace Charlotte and that she wants to learn from Ric, and says she would be a better partner than "that feral animal" Asuka. Charlotte says she has been trying to prove she can make it on her own and that she already has a tag team partner. Lacey says she is focused on the WWE Raw Women's Championship, and has heard that if she can beat Charlotte, she is next in line for the title. When Charlotte says they can go right now, Ric Flair tires top stop the match from happening, but Lacey hits Charlotte with a cheap shot and sends her shoulder-first into the ring steps.
Backstage, The Miz and John Morrison are seen talking with Angel Garza.
Lacey Evans beats Charlotte Flair by disqualification after an angry Charlotte shoves the referee away as she repeatedly punches Lacey in the corner.
Edge heads to the ring. He says that last week was a long week, and after winning the men's Royal Rumble, he has been left with the decision of which championship to challenge for at WrestleMania, causing him to dig deeper. After meeting Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor, he was close to making a decision, but admits that the Elimination Chamber has changed things for him and says he does not know who will walk out of the Chamber as champion. While he respects Drew McIntyre, he does not like McIntyre's odds of leaving the Chamber as champion, and as he says he will wait for the dust to settle on the Chamber match, The Miz, John Morrison and Angel Garza show up. Miz says that while Edge has decision to make, Edge is the ultimate opportunist and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Meanwhile, Miz says he likes to strategize, and says that regardless of which title Edge wins, he will cash in and leave as champion. Edge reminds Miz that he put the Money In The Briefcase on the map, and says that Miz made a mistake telling him his plans while he is busy manipulating three champion. He says Miz should focus on the Chamber while he sees his own story through.
Damian Priest beats Angel Garza after Bad Bunny counters The Miz and John Morrison's interference by throwing the Money In The Bank briefcase into the ring. When Morrison goes to get the briefcase, he and Miz get ejected from the match, allowing Priest to get the win.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Drew McIntyre, who says that even with the Elimination Chamber and Sheamus on his mind, Randy Orton is his focus tonight. He says that the target on his back is bigger than ever, and while it sounds like he is backed into a corner, he will rip faces off like a wild animal if anyone comes for the WWE Championship.
Lacey Evans vs. Asuka for the WWE Raw Women's Championship is official for Elimination Chamber.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Bianca Belair, who says that the last week has been wild and that the honeymoon phase is over. She says that this is her time, but she will not reveal her cards yet, saying she could still challenge anybody. She says that to be "the EST of WrestleMania," she has to be the best. Suddenly, Asuka shows up and congratulates Bianca on winning the women's Royal Rumble, then says that does not mean she is ready for her. Bianca counters that while she is ready for Asuka, Lacey Evans is not, and if Asuka wins at Elimination Chamber, she just might see more of her at Raw.
MVP guests on commentary for the next match.
Keith Lee beats Matt Riddle. After the match, Keith Lee is attacked from behind by Bobby Lashley, who proceeds to overpower Keith Lee before putting Riddle in the Hurt Lock. Lashley then sends Keith Lee into the ring post on the outside before ramming the ring steps into his face.
We see a video package chronicling the feud between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.
Backstage, Randy Orton says unfinished business stands between him and Drew McIntyre, and while McIntyre took the WWE Championship from him, he will take it back at Elimination Chamber. Orton says he will do what it takes to get what he wants, as the WWE Championship means everything and his actions end any unfinished business that he may have, and that he will walk into WrestleMania as WWE Champion.
Lana beats Nia Jax in a Tables Match after Nia misses a leg drop on the apron and Lana pushes her into a table leaning against the barricade on the outside (After the leg drop, Nia screams in pain and yell the words "Oh, my butt!" followed by "My hole!", the latter of which becomes the talk of social media into the next day; interestingly, WWE bleeps it out on the YouTube upload). After the match, Lana is attacked from behind by "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, but Naomi gets in the ring and fights her off.

McIntyre tells Edge he is proud of him, and Edge admits that he has liked him and has always been his mentor, but admits he is shocked that McIntyre is showering him with praise while he is a threat to his championship. As McIntyre says he is not that kind of champion and Edge says that McIntyre is not him, Sheamus shows up and congratulates Edge on his big win last week before asking Edge who he is to question McIntyre. He says McIntyre carried the company while Edge nursed an injury, and says that while McIntyre may want to take the high road, he does not. McIntyre stops Sheamus and asks Edge what decision he will make, and Edge reminds McIntyre he has a target on his back. He tells McIntyre that he will know when he makes a decision, and regardless of who he faces, he will become a champion. He says that tonight, there will be no mercy, compassion or a WrestleMania main event.

When Bad Bunny admits he wants to be a WWE Superstar, Miz tries to take Bad Bunny under his wing. Miz and John Morrison propose a musical collaboration again, but Bad Bunny tells them he is not interested. Miz gets angry, but Bad Bunny says he is here because of a friend of his: Damian Priest. Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 14, 2020
It's time for The Dirt Sheet. The Miz reads a story called "The Nightmare Before TLC," written by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Styles plays himself, while John Morrision plays Drew McIntyre. After the story's end, The Miz then says that he will cash in on McIntyre if McIntyre wins and become WWE Champion, something that Styles takes exception to. As Morrison, Miz and Styles argue, Sheamus shows up. Sheamus says that as entertaining as the story and the pantomime is, he and Styles have a match tonight and he is prepared to fight with his fists. Styles tells Sheamus if he is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem. Sheaums says he is ready to be part of the problem, and backs Styles into a corner. Styles throws a Christmas tree at him, but Sheamus responds by throwing a present at him.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Sheamus after avoiding a middle rope White Noise, hitting Sheamus in the back of the left leg and pinning him with a schoolkid pin. After the match, Styles points at Sheamus as he runs his mouth towards him, but but Omos grabs Sheamus and Styles ties Sheamus up on the ropes by his legs before attacking him with a steel chair.
In backstage footage from earlier today, The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) harass a crew member for trying out one of Matt Riddle's "Bronutts," and Lashley pours a whole carton of milk on his head. When Sarah Schreiber interviews The Hurt Business, MVP says that Riddle is no athlete and that The New Day will be sent back to the circus with their tails tucked behind between their legs. Shelton says the three of them belong in the circus together, and Lashley says that if they don't, they will be introduced to their own personal world of hurt.
Backstage, Matt Riddle meets with Jeff Hardy and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and propose that Hardy and The New Day team up with him as "Bro E" in their corner. Hardy and The New Day love the idea.
The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) beat Jeff Hardy and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) with a Hurt Lock to Jeff Hardy.
Backstage, Lana talks with Asuka about their match at TLC and how they feel "together" as a team, then mentions she has to face Nia Jax on her own and that she is scared to death. Asuka admits Nia Jax can be scary, but says Lana will still walk out to the ring, making her the bravest person she knows and proud to be her partner. She then tells Nia Jax to get out there to the ring.
Lana beats Nia Jax after escaping an avalanche Samoan Drop, kicking Nia Jax in the back of the leg and rolling Nia up in the corner to get the upset win. After the match, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler attacks Asuka from behind backstage, and Nia Jax attacks Lana. Baszler joins Nia, who hits Lana with a leg drop. Baszler then stomps Lana's elbow before she and Nia gang up on her and decimate her left ankle. Asuka gets in the ring and cleans house, forcing Nia and Shayna to retreat before checking on Lana.
Elias is in the ring. He introduces Jaxson Ryker, who is standing to his immediate right and has not been seen on WWE programming in some time. Elias talks about how he was shocked in his recent Symphony of Destruction match, then says that shock would have ended an ordinary man. He then says he is not an ordinary man, he is "the extraordinary Elias." Elias says he was baptized by lightning and that he was given visions of Jaxson Ryker, who now walks with him. Ryker says Elias' music has changed him and taught him the universal truth, and says he will stop the interruptions and disrespect towards Elias. Elias then dedicates his next number to Lana, then R-Truth shows up and apologizes to Elias for interrupting him last week on Main Event. When Elias tells him he is interrupting, R-Truth stays silent and Elias plays his song after telling Elias he doesn't mean to interrupt. This does not last long when the locker room comes for R-Truth and the WWE 24/7 Championship. As everyone fights with each other, Jaxson Ryker takes out Gran Metalik.
Backstage, The Miz talks with John Morrison, still taking exception to AJ Styles' comments about him. As Morrision tells Miz that cashing in on Styles would be easier, Keith Lee shows up. Keith Lee shows up and flips a coin. John Morrison calls heads and gets heads on the coin toss, then tells Miz and Morrison that the coin toss they just had is all they are going to win tonight.
The Miz and John Morrison beat Keith Lee in a two-on-one handicap match.
It's time for Firefly Fun House. This time, Bray Wyatt has a field trip in the WWE Thunderdome. Ramblin' Rabbit, Huskus the Pig Boy and Mercy the Buzzard are seen in the front row. Bray says he has an apology to make, and apologizes to Randy Orton, saying that while they had the time of their lives last week, it was all "one giant misunderstanding." Bray says that sometimes, "he" has "a very sad, sick and deranged, twist mind of his own," then says he has things to fix about himself and wishes they had a chance to finish what they started. He says that after Orton faces The Fiend at TLC, he is not sure what will be left of Orton, and instead of fun and games, there will just be sadness and pain, but that sounds splendid to him, and he has decided to celebrate tonight.
