Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 15, 2021

It's time for Miz TV to start tonight's show. Tonight's guest is Drew McIntyre. Miz apologizes for John Morrison's absence, saying Morrison is with a producer making a Bad Bunny diss track, then talks about the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match and asks McIntyre about the possibility of his title reign ending there. Miz says he would be panicking, and says he cannot understand how McIntyre can be so calm given the match as well as Sheamus stabbing him in the back, and says WWE robbed McIntyre of the satisfaction of getting revenge against Sheamus one-on-one. As he speaks, Miz gives McIntyre no opportunity to speak, and McIntyre has to tell him to shut up and not interrupt him or else he will regret it. Miz interrupts him, and McIntyre makes him regret it with a headbutt. McIntyre then throws the Money in the Bank Briefcase all the way to the stage and leaves, then Miz says that the pressure is getting to McIntyre before saying he has none of the pressure because he is bringing it with the Money in the Bank contract. Miz says there are so many variables that could go wrong for McIntyre, but that there is only one thing that needs to go right for him, and says that he is a master strategist as far as cashing the contract in is involved. He then tells the WWE and Universal Champions of WWE that he is in control, and that when the dust settles, he will stand in the ring as a champion, content being awesome. Miz then says that if Edge wants to talk about high-stakes poker, then he has a move for him. Miz then removes himself from the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Backstage, Matt Riddle asks The Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) who their favorite United States presidents are, and The Lucha House Party make it known the three of them will send a message to The Hurt Business (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) tonight.

Matt Riddle and The Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) beat The Hurt Business (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) in a six-man tag match. After the match, an angry Bobby Lashley attacks Matt Riddle and The Lucha House Party before putting Riddle in the Hurt Lock.

Backstage, The Miz thanks Adam Pearce for the opportunity to be in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, then says he wants to give back and wants someone who is deserving to take his spot: John Morrison. Pearce says he will take that into consideration.

Backstage, Mandy Rose talks with Bad Bunny, wishing him luck on Saturday Night Live this weekend before Damian Priest shows up. Sarah Schreiber then interviews Priest and Bad Bunny. Priest talks about joining the Raw roster and hanging with one of the biggest stars on the planet when R-Truth is suddenly pinned by Akira Tozawa for the WWE 24/7 Championship. Akira backs into Priest, then Priest rams Tozawa into a bunch of crates before allowing Bad Bunny to pin Tozawa for the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) meets with Adam Pearce, and Kofi Kingston asks Pearce to put him in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber while Woods wants his best-of-five series with Retribution. The Miz shows up, and Kofi makes it clear he is entering the match. The Miz says he and Pearce has an understand, and Kofi and Miz argue until Pearce puts Miz in a match with Kofi. If The Miz wins, John Morrison enters the match; if Kofi wins, he is in. Kofi says he has no problem fighting his way back into the WWE Championship picture, the he and Woods make fun of The Miz's Marine movies when Miz says KofiMania sucked.

Before the next match, Lacey Evans thanks Charlotte Flair for getting herself disqualified last week so she could get a shot at the WWE Raw Women's Championship that she rightfully deserved. She says that she has been taking in the knowledge of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who says she will be ready to be champion on Sunday, then she and Peyton gift Charlotte with a heart-shaped candy that says "Bite Me" on it. Peyton then realizes she should have given Asuka a gift, as Asuka will be giving her the WWE Raw Women's Championship on Sunday.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs. Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans ends when Lacey Evans walks out of the match, telling Charlotte Flair that she will not be putting her hands on her because she is pregnant. It takes a moment for "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to go with this, then the match is suddenly over. (In reality, Lacey Evans is legitimately pregnant, and WWE had only found out earlier in the day.)

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Sheamus. Sheamus says he should not have to fight for the odds, and although he got a one-on-one match against McIntyre that turned into a six-man war, he will win the Gauntlet Match and watch everyone do the work until they are right for the picking. He then says he will Brogue Kick the competition and that Drew McIntyre will hopefully be eliminated, making his work easier when he becomes WWE Champion.

Kofi Kingston beats The Miz to enter the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Lana and Naomi. Lana says Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler walk around like they are the best of all time, but she just wants to be her best, and any win she gets is a cherry on top. She also is glad to have Naomi by her side to keep her on track. Naomi says that Nia Jax got what she deserved, and that Lana is going to take the fight to Shayna tonight.

We hear from Randy Orton, who says that the business between himself and Drew McIntyre remains unfinished thanks to Sheamus. He then says he will win tonight's Gauntlet Match to become the last participant as says he will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He talks about how he lit The Fiend on fire and made it so that The Fiend was no more, and says that he is now focused on the WWE Championship and that he will be in the ring with five victims this Sunday. Before Orton can finish speaking, however, the scene suddenly wswitches to Alexa Bliss in the Firefly Fun House, who mourns the death of The Fiend before stating that he will be reborn as she sits in the center of a pentagram. The candles are all blown out one by one as the room glows red, and Alexa Bliss laughs as the camera zooms in on her and her white irises. The scene then cuts to black.

"The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler beats Lana with the Kirifuda Clutch. During the match, Nia Jax attacks Naomi only for Naomi to get the upper hand. Baszler grabs Naomi, and despite Lana rolling her up, Baszler kicks out and gets in the Kirifuda Clutch for the victory.

Backstge, Braun Strowman asks Adam Pearce why he is not in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match, and upon finding out that he is not a former WWE Champion, he tells Pearce to tell Shane McMahon to make things right or else things will not be pretty.

Before the next match, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles says he cannot tell what Kofi Kingston is trying to do after entering the Elimination Chamber Match, and says he will destroy his hopes of becoming WWE Champion again. He tells Kofi Kingston to be positive about being in tonight's Gauntlet Match, as tonight will be a warm-up for him when he sets the example of what he will do in the Elimination Chamber when he becomes WWE Champion. Kofi Kingston then enters the ring as the second participant of the Gauntlet Match

Sheamus beat Kofi Kingston, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre in a Gauntlet Match to enter last in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match. During the match, Omos grabs Xavier Woods by the throat and choke slams him over the barricade for playing his trombone. When Kofi confronts Omos, Omos gets ejected from the match. Randy Orton is eliminated by count-out after all of the Thunderdome screens are replaced with images of Alexa Bliss laughing. After the match, Sheamus brags about beating Drew McIntyre, saying that McIntyre will never beat him and will prove it by becoming the next WWE Champion.
