We see post-show footage from last week where "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock puts referee Brandon Tolle in an ankle lock before Sami Callihan tries to calm Shamrock down only to get knocked out. Shamrock says that only he says when it's over before going back to Tolle's ankle. Security gets in the ring, but Shamrock swiftly lays them out.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore meets with Sami Callihan. D'Amore suspends "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock indefinitely, and Callihan says he was going to fire Shamrock anyway after he punched him in the face.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer talks with Rich Swann how everything has gone full circle after he give away a title shot to Terry Funk years ago. Rich Swann proposes that he take care of things so that Dreamer stays as fresh as possible. Tommy offers to pull his share of the load in case Swann gets tired. Swann says he doesn't get tired, as he goes all night long.

Backstage, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) talk about their match tomorrow night at Beach Break where they beat up Jon Moxley, then consider screwing Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) over at the tag team battle royal. Suddenly, "The Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Sabin confront The Good Brothers for kicking Sabin while he was down, and Sabin - who at this point calls The Good Brothers "the ball-less wonders" - challenges them to a match. The Good Brothers decline, but Storm says they either get a title shot or give them a beatdown. The Good Brothers then propose a match for next week, saying they need to be ready for tomorrow night's match at Beach Break, then leave.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander beats Madman Fulton.

Brian Myers heads to the ring. Myers says he feels somewhat responsible for the shape he is in and calls Eddie Edwards "the most unprofessional wrestler," saying that Eddie used to be classy and "a worker's worker" and that Killer Kowalski is rolling in his grave over what Eddie is doing now. Myers says he would love nothing more than to get Eddie in the ring at No Surrender to show him what a real wrestler is like, but produces a doctor's note and says he cannot do that before Eddie gets in the ring and attacks him. Suddenly, Hernandez attacks Eddie from out of nowhere, then Myers says that Hernandez will gladly kick Eddie's ass at No Surrender before Matt Cardona gets in the ring and fights Hernandez, clotheslining him out of the ring.

Backstage, John E. Bravo plays blackjack with Fallah Bahh and Alisha when Johnny Swinger shows up wanting money. Upon seeing Swinger's big roll of money, Alisha says Swinger should pay Bravo more, but Swinger says Bravo should be glad to have a job. When Alisha asks why it always feels like they are always in Swinger's world, Fallah Bahh says he does not know but states it feels like Groundhog Day.

He then says there is no better time than now to show he can stand on his own two feet. Suddenly, Sami Callihan teleports into the room and says Impact Wrestling wasted him and that Trey is throwing his former teammates under the bus soon after they left. He says Trey has what it takes to succeed, but he does not have the drive. As Callihan says that Impact needs people with passion, Trey goes off on Callihan, but Callihan tells him to look in the mirror and figure out who he is and who he wants to be.

Backstage, Gia Miller congratulates XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D) on Larry D's new freedom, then mentions Rosemary. Larry D says it doesn't matter who they face, as they fear nobody is. and Acey says that no matter how scary Rosemary is, they are not afraid of her. Matt says they have a guaranteed title shot at No Surrender and that he always has a plan. He tells Private Party to win the tag team battle royal to face The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Matt wants them to win both the AEW and Impact tag team titles to get millions of dollars, and Private Party tells Matt that they've got his back.

We hear from Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner). Eric Young says they left Cousin Jake standing because VBD is family and that while salvation is not for everyone, Cousin Jake could be part of the family and have his eyes opened. Eric Young tells Cousin Jake that the choice is his in the end, and if Jake wants it, he can cure him of his disease and baptize him in the waters of change.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Cousin Jake, who says that he does not know what to make of Violent By Design's (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner) message and that next week, he will give them an answer.
