Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 16, 2021

We hear from XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D). Acey says that tonight, he and Larry D will get their revenge on Decay (Rosemary, Crazzy Steve, Black Taurus) and show the entire world that they are not scared of them. Larry D says he is not afraid of Rosemary, to which Acey Romero agrees, and says that XXXL will bring the impact tonight and that 700 pounds of force will bring all the impact they need. We then hear from Decay. Crazzy Steve says that "the best hand in the house" is made of flesh and bone, and it can be cut or broken, and when it does, the house begins to crumble. Rosemary says the catalyst for that crumble is fear, and that Decay sees the fear in XXXL's eyes when they tremble. She says the fear will bring them down like everything else and will bring them to their own decay.

Gia Miller tries to interview Moose, but gets no answer.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) beat XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero) in the exclusive match for the brand-new weekly pre-show.

TJP retains the Impact X Division Championship against "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer comes out of Impact management's office, who makes it clear that he is sick and tired of Moose's actions as of late and that he will beat some sense into him in an Old School Rules Match.

Backstage, Brian Myers meets with Hernandez and gives him the money according to the deal they made prior to No Surrender, then hands him some more money prior to the next match. When Myers leaves, Fallah Bahh shows up and tells Hernandez he can double his money. Hernandez gives him $10 dollars and tells him to turn it into $20 before they talk.

Trey Miguel beats Suicide, Shawn Daivari and Willie Mack in a four-way match. Backstage after the match, Trey Miguel is met by Sami Callihan, who congratulates him before saying that Trey is all smiles when things go his way but retreats when they don't, and says that he will fail like he did at No Surrender because he has no passion.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore is congratulating TJP for retaining the Impact X Division Championship when Ace Austin shows up demanding an X Division Championship shot after winning the Super X Cup. D'Amore makes a six-man tag match where the winning team faces each other in a three-way match for a shot at the X Division Championship. Austin tells D'Amore to throw out all the hoops he wants, for the results are inevitable.

Matt Cardona beats Hernandez after escaping the Border Toss to hit the Radio Silence. After the match, Gia Miller interviews Cardona, who says he has been in the business for eighteen years and wants to light a brand new torch instead of pass one. Brian Myers gets in the ring and says Impact Wrestling is his. Myers says he can see right through Cardona, who asks Myers what is eating him. Cardona is attacked from behind by Hernandez, but Eddie Edwards runs in to even the odds and takes out Hernandez while Myers retreats.

David Finlay and Juice Robinson are up next.

We get another paid announcement from Tony Schiavone and Tony Khan. Khan says he got no Valentine's Day gifts even though he has done nothing but give, then says his paid advertisement are tax write-offs before running down the card for this week's Dynamite along with Schiavone while insulting The Good Brothers' ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) actions from last week.

Backstage, Havok talks with Nevaeh, who questions if they should be a team after losing at No Surrender before Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb show up, with Tenille telling them to trust the timing of one's life while trying to tag with one of them. Neveah tells Tenille that she will see her in the ring, and when Havok tells Neveah she has her back, Neveah tells her she has to do this on her own.

David Finlay and Juice Robinson beat Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend). After the match, The Good Brothers show up. Anderson says he can see the stars in Juice and Finlay's eyes and welcomes them to Impact, even proposing they have a party with bourbon. Juice reminds The Good Brothers that this is not 2015, and proposes they have some beers. Finlay says he is up for it, provided Anderson doesn't pass out before midnight or wake up "covered in his own piss."

Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera are at a bar. Rohit says there is no reason why he should not be two-time X Division Champion, then says it is Shera's fault. Shera pushes Rohit into Storm, but Storm proposes Rohit apologize so they and Chris Sabin can have a good time. When Rohit refuses to apologize, Storm hits him in the head with a beer bottle, and Shera steps up only to be warned not to do this by Sabin. After Storm gives the bartender some money, Johnny Swinger shows up, invites Storm and Sabin to Swinger's Palace, then takes the money.

Johnny Swinger brings "The Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Sabin to Swinger's Palace. Fallah Bahh shows up and blows the ten dollars Hernandez gave him, then gets thrown out.

Tenille Dashwood beats Nevaeh.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Moose's post-match attack on Rich Swann and Tommy Dreamer from No Surrender 2021.

We hear from Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner). Deaner says VBD is what they say they are, and says that Jake Something chose heresy and not to see the truth, and became something else. He says that while Jake pinned him and the sickness won, Joe Doering made him suffer. Deaner says he must take car of business and make Jake suffer in a Tables Match next week, and if he cannot finish Jake, he is willing to suffer the consequences, as nothing is more important than family.

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee stop Susie from fighting Jazz. Deonna flags down Scott D'Amore to get Kimber Lee and Susie a shot at the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, and makes a #1 contender's match against Jordynne Grace and Jazz. The winners of that match will get a shot at the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Susie is all fired up for the #1 contender's match.

Moose beats Tommy Dreamer in an Old School Rules Match.
