Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for February 27, 2021

We hear from La Faccion Ingobernable (Kenny King and Dragon Lee). Dragon Lee says that they are part of a true faction, and that they need the rest of the gold. Kenny King says they are one win away from domination, and that they must beat The Foundation in a Pure Rules tag team match to prove this is their house and that they are unstoppable and ungovernable. We the hear from The Foundation (Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham). Lethal praises La Faccion Ingobernables on beating The Briscoes to face them, then tells them that they will actually have to wrestle to beat them. Gresham says the world is watching and that their eyes are on The Foundation and pure wrestling, and that La Faccion Ingobernable must outclass and outwrestle two of the best wrestlers in the world to win.

La Faccion Ingobernable (Dragon Lee and Kenny King) beat The Foundation (Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham) via pinfall in 14:12 in a Pure Rules tag team match to become the ROH World Tag Team Champions after Jay Lethal inadvertently takes out Amy Rose with a tope suicda and Dragon Lee hits Jonathan Gresham with a closed fist to the face behind the referee's back.

We hear from Shane Taylor, who says that the ROH World Championship is supposed to be the best championship in the world, but he says that there is a stigma around Ring of Honor and says that a man like him - an African-American male who speaks up about political issues - as people cannot relate to anything about him. He says that since he was voted #1 contender for the ROH World Championship by the fans, it means that everything he says resonates with the people, which means that people are ready to see a new ROH World Champion who can deliver day in and day out. He understands that Rush is physical, but when Rush stands across the ring from him, the intimidation he brings to other people will not be in his eyes, and however hard Rush hits, he will hit harder, and he will match his intensity. Taylro says that he has been the MVP of ROH for over three years now and has elevated everyone who has been in the ring with him, and that he is the uncrowned champion of Ring of Honor.

Rush retains the ROH World Championship against Shane Taylor. During the match, Rush inadvertently rusn into referee Todd Sinclair. La Bestia del Ring heads to the ring and hands a folding chair to Rush, and Kenny King has to leave the commentary table to take the chair away from him. When Kenny King swings the chair at Rush, Rush dodges it and Kenny King hits Taylor with a chair shot to the head before it becomes obvious that this was part of the plan all along when Kenny King tells Rush to finish Shane Taylor off. Rush then hits the drop kick in the corner to win the match and retain the championship.
