NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day - The LIVE Results

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee). Wes Lee says that despite being in WWE for a short time, they are already in the finals of the Dusty Cup, and Nash Carter says that Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) will be grizzled young losers for the second year in a row.

Before the next match, Zack Gibson says MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) has had the emotional journey to the Dusty Cup finals, then says they will not enjoy a single second of their match, because the Dusty Cup belongs to Grizzled Young Veterans (Gibson and James Drake).

Io Shirai retains the NXT Women's Championship against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm in a Triple Threat Match with a top rope moonsault from out of nowhere.

Finn Balor retains the NXT Championship against Pete Dunne. After the match, Finn Balor is attacked from behind by Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, and they and Pete Dunne take the boots to Balor. A referee steps in only to get knocked out. Suddenly, The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) run into the ring, causing Lorcan, Burch and Dunne to retain. O'Reilly checks on Finn Balor, then helps him up and shakes his hand out of respect. Suddenly, Adam Cole superkicks Balor. As O'Reilly and Strong confront Cole for his actions, Cole then superkicks O'Reilly. Cole leaves, while Strong stays in the ring.
