Before the next match, Cameron Grimes throws his butler outfit into a trash can with gold lining and a dollar sign on it that has been brought out by "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, who then accompanies Grimes to the ring. When LA Knight makes his way to the ring, however, he notices the trash can and the butler outfit inside, then topples the can over.

Cameron Grimes beats LA Knight to become the Million Dollar Champion after Knight tries to use the title as a weapon only for the referee to stop him. As Grimes grabs the title belt, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase punches Knight in the face. When the referee hands the title to DiBiase, however, DiBiase throws it back in to distract the referee so that DiBiase can put Knight in the Million Dollar Dream. Grimes then hits Knight with the Cave-In to win the match and the championship. (Had Grimes lost, Ted DiBiase would have had to become Knight's butler.)

Raquel Gonzalez retains the NXT Women's Championship after countering the Yakuza Kick into a top rope powerbomb. After the match, Kay Lee Ray shows up on WWE programming for the first time since losing the NXT UK Women's Championship to Meiko Satomura and stares down Raquel from the stage.

Ilja Dragunov beats Walter with a sleeper in a devastating match to become the NXT UK Champion, ending Walter's reign at 870 days.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Cameron Grimes. He says his father is smiling down from heaven because he is a Million Dollar Champion, and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase says that Grimes is a champion because he did not quit. After DiBiase hands Grimes some money, Grimes says the party does not have to stop and that there will be a celebration next week.

Backstage, General Manager William Regal talks with Samoa Joe. Regal says he has to stay unbiased and hope his match with Karrion Kross entertains the fans, then tells Joe he wants him to kick Karrion Kross' ass.

Kyle O'Reilly beats Adam Cole two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Kyle O'Reilly wins the first fall in a traditional wrestling match after sitting down on Adam Cole's attempt at the Panama Sunrise. Adam Cole wins the second fall in a Street Fight after throwing O'Reilly off the top rope and into an open chair. After the second fall, medical staff check on O'Reilly, but Cole attacks O'Reilly and powerbombs him into the announce table before putting him back in the ring. NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021 - The LIVE Results

Naomi Fox performs "In Your House" to start tonight's show, then we are introduced to the host of tonight's show, Todd Pettengill.

MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) and Bronson Reed retain the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championships against Legado del Fantasmo (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza). During the match, Escobar grabs the North American Championship, but he gets plowed through the barricade by Bronson Reed.

As Todd Pettengill is about to get the audience up to speed on Mercedes Martinez vs. Xia Li via a VHS tape on a small CRT TV, McKenzie Mitchell shows up and lets him know that it is all done digitally. Nevertheless, Todd takes the tape to the production truck.

Xia Li beats Mercedes Martinez. After the match, Boa hands a steel chair to Xia Li, but Mercedes Martinez trips her and grabs the chair. Boa gets in the ring and gets hit with it, then Mercedes hits Xia Li with it. Mercedes then tells Xia Li that if she wants to take her out, she will break her neck. Suddenly, Mei Ying - the woman on the chair - makes her presence known, and when Merdedes hits Xia with the chair again, Mei Ying gets up. Mei Ying and Mercedes Martinez advance towards each other and have a face-off, then Mei Ying grabs Mercedes by the jaw. Mercedes hits her with the chair, but it has no effect and grabs Mercedes again, throwing her into the barricade.

We hear from Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa says everyone should be calling them NXT Tag Team Champions, but Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) took that from them. Thatcher says that on Tuesday, they will break their limbs. Ciampa tells Grizzled Young Veterans that they are looking at two grown men and that they will show just how dangerous they are on Tuesday.

NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver - Night Two: The Results

Backstage, Samoa Joe interviews Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Kross says that he was pissed when he found out that he was injured and had to vacate the NXT Championship, as it took him many years to reach that point, and there was a point where it felt like it was all for nothing. Kross says that he will cut the ring off and smash Finn Balor, and admits that while Finn Balor has technique and experience and is a fine champion, he will not control the pace of the match. Kross says he came here to be champion, not to be lost in the shuffle, and he also says that he does care what Finn Balor says about him, as he says a lot of things, that his arrogance will be his downfall and his tactics will not work.

Backstage, Samoa Joe interviews Finn Balor. Balor says he has proven time and again that he can stand and deliver, and if anyone needs to stand and deliver, it is not him. He says that it is not an ideal situation to vacate a title, and that it tooks months, if not a year, to get his confidence back, and says that Karrion Kross may have come back too soon. Finn Balor then says that understimating Finn Balor is a catastrophic mistake, and that Karrion Kross should be in the best shape of his life to face him right now. He says he has dealt with big men by dragging them into territory they do not want to be in, and that he will drag Karrion Kross into "the deep water" and drown him like he has never drowned before. He says that he has been treated as the underdog through his career, and says that this is where his fury comes from, then says he will stand and deliver like he has for the last twenty years and beat Karrion Kross.

As for Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly, he is taking every step possible to ensure both men do not meet before the bell rings for their match, and says that Adam Cole will not be getting fined for putting his hands on him.

Backstage, Samoa Joe interviews Kyle O'Reilly. O'Reilly says it has been a crazy year and feels he has an internal struggle, and while it felt good to be in The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) with all their money and success, something had to give, as he had strayed so far from the path that got him to NXT that he barely recognized himself, and to save his soul, he had to save himself from a gang mentality. He admits that while his actions post-Undisputed Era have not been much better, he must fight fire with fire to get an edge against Adam Cole. O'Reilly says that Adam Cole was the one to put the stake through the heart and set him free, and while he lost in some big opportunities, he found himself again after having fought on his own and with honor and integrity, and says that he has what it takes to face Adam Cole tonight, saying the match will be as one-sided as it gets as he will finish Adam Cole as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Backstage, Samoa Joe interviews Adam Cole. Cole says he has known Kyle O'Reilly for twelve years, and says that without him, O'Reilly would have never made it to WWE. He says that he was the backbone and the one responsible for the success of The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong), and that Fish and Strong will soon find out the hard way that crossing him is a big mistake. He says that O'Reilly is the one being reckless as of late, not him, and that he has brought aggressiveness and a lack of poise out of him. Cole says that victory to him will be O'Reilly realizing that he has given him the worst beating of his life and that he should have not messed with him. As for whether or not he and O'Reilly can coexist ever again, Cole says it depends on whether or not he wants to be near somebody like O'Reilly, and that it also depends on what kind of apology O'Reilly gives to him, so long as O'Reilly knows he is going to beat his ass first.

When asked who will win it tonight's main event, they are divided, but they are both winners because they are champs.

She says that Io Shirai leaves nothing behind in the ring, but that she is confident in her own abilities and the ability to take what Shirai dishes out. As for being tonight's main event, she says that this means a lot to her considering the journey she had to take to get here, and she is confident that when she beats Shirai tonight, she will smile and be full of pride in everything that has come to this moment knowing that she is in the best place of her life and career.

Samoa Joe interviews Io Shirai. Shirai says she was the champion in Japan for over three years and became the best of the best in Japan before coming to America and WWE to become the best in the world and reach the top. She says that she challenged Raquel Gonzalez after beating the best in the top brands of WWE because she is a big up-and-coming wrestler and because she wants a moment in her career where she wrestles and beats a bigger opponent like Rey Mysterio. She says there is a lot of responsibility and pressure in being in the main event, but she has represented the women's division and the women's title, and the division has come a long way because of her.
