Before the next match, The Personal Concierge George Iceman says that there are no men or women in Canada, only filthy pigs, then introduces Heather by Elegance as "the only woman in the building."

Elayna Black beats Heather by Elegance after avoiding the double foot stomp from the top rope and hitting the Blackout on the second attempt.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth, who mentions the backstage attack on him last week and how "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth has figured out that Matt Hardy was the one to attack him despite having no evidence of it. Ryan then entertains the idea of interfering in tonight's no-disqualification World Championship match.

Backstage, Daria Rae meets with Jason Hotch, who finds out from her that he has a match against Special Agent Zero with Mila Moore as the special guest referee, courtesy of Mustafa Ali.

It's time for The King's Speech. Avery Styles accompanies Frankie Kazarian for this edition, and Kazarian calls tonight a coronation after beating Moose at Lockdown and becoming "the new face of the franchise." Kazarian then reveals a crown underneath a red mantle on a stool and coronates himself as a king, saying he has earned it for being so very good for so very long and that he will wear it as proof that he is the one true king of TNA. Moose shows up and says Kazarian looks ridiculous with a crown, asking if it came from Dollarama - starting a "Dollarama" chant - before stating that everyone knows that Kazarian got lucky and barely escaped him via a mistake he made. Kazarian says those are the rules before telling Moose to get out of the ring, and Moose says that the only word that comes to his mind after seeing his crown is "bitch." Kazarian says he is too cool for this and says another cage match is not happening. Moose says he only wants a simple one-on-one match next week, but Kazarian says he has nothing to gain from defeating him again. Moose says that nobody in the locker room will see him as a king if he does not grant the match. Kazarian grants him the match on the condition that Moose puts his TNA career on the line, and if Kazarian wins, Moose is gone from TNA. Moose accepts, and says that if he wins, he will do whatever he wants with Kazarian's crown. Kazarian says he will waer the crown next week to Moose's funeral.

KC Navarro guests on commentary for the next match.

Fabian Aichner beats Rohit Raju in a Bound for Glory TNA X-Division Championship qualifier.

We hear from Zoey Serrano, who talks about how professional wrestling was the only constant in her life and how she went to pro wrestling soon after high school. She says that she had it all in the palm of her hand until she injured herself. She says that she does not need to please anybody now that she is in TNA and that she only stay true to herself and prove she is the best in the business. Zoey says that she is the new face of the Knockouts Division.

John Skyler guests on commentary for the next match.

Jason Hotch beat Special Agent Zero. Mila Moore is the special guest referee for this match, but when Mila Moore refuses to make the count after Hotch hits a top rope splash, Tasha Steelz confronts Mila and rips the referee shirt off of her before putting it on. Hotch rolls up Special Agent Zero and gets the win after Tasha makes a fast count.

As per the TNA Injury Report: Jeff Hardy is still not medically cleared following the backstage attack on him two weeks ago. Ryan Nemeth has head trauma from last week's backstage match, but is cleared and is not expected to miss any ring time. BDE has not been seen or heard from since losing to Dutch last week, and his condition and whereabouts are unknown. Matt Hardy, despite dealing with lingering injuries from Lockdown, is medically cleared for tonight's match.

Backstage, Leon Slater wishes Matt Hardy luck in his match tonight, then says that he knows Ryan Nemeth will get involved and that he will have his back. Slater then meets with Jason Hotch, who thanks him for getting him away from Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero, Mila Moore).

Backstage, Kiera Hogan tells Allie that she will be the first challenge for the TNA Knockouts Television Championship, and that she has beaten M by Elegance before and that she will beat her again.

He performs a song about The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) when The System interrupt, with Alisha Edwards saying that nobody wants to listen to Elijah's music. Eddie says Elijah stuck his nose in The System's business and became a problem for them, and that they handled that problem. He says that if Elijah keeps coming at them, they will put him down and he will not get back up. Elijah says he will get back up every time and keep on walking, then notes that The System makes enemies out of just about everyone. Eddie mentions The System's hit list of people they feel do not belong in the locker room, with Ricky Sosa on the top of the list. Eddie tells Elijah that he will be on the list if he is not careful, and when Elijah dares them to put him on the list, Ricky Sosa shows up and makes the save for Elijah before proposing a tag team match next week. Eddie Edwards accepts the challenge, and Ricky Sosa says they are going to whup The System's asses.

Backstage, Matt Hardy looks back at recent events when Willow suddenly shows up. Matt Hardy says he is ready for tonight and that he will punish The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth) for their attack on Jeff. Willow is revealed to be an illusion when a producer checks on Matt Hardy.

It is revealed that Leon Slater has been attacked backstage.

Rich Swann beats Vincent. During the match, Rich Swann inadvertently kicks the referee, knocking him down. Vincent calls for BDE, who is clad in all-white, and BDE grabs Swann before suddenly hitting a cutter on Vincent. Rich Swann then hits a splash from the top rope for the win.

"The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth retains the TNA World Championship against Matt Hardy in a no-disqualification match after dodging the Twist of Fate and hitting Matt Hardy with a wrench. The pre-match "A MATTer of Fact" fact is "Matt's first TV win was in the province of Ontario."

Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for August 20, 2026

Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero, Mila Moore) is in the ring to start tonight's show. Mustafa Ali asks the crowd to remain silent as he speaks, then says that Order 4 has a statement of emergency after Jason Hotch was crowned TNA International Champion live on AMC in front of the entire world and his family. Mustafa says that Hotch is not a good man and the man of his household, as he is the man of Hotch's house and that the life that Hotch's family has is all because of him. He says that Hotch had the audacity to stab him in the back after all he did for Hotch. This leads to a "You deserve it" chant before Mustafa says that he deserves and demands loyalty, then Mustafa says that he has gotten with Daria Rae and tells John Skyler to prove that he is still his most loyal attack dog when he wrestles Hotch not for the International Championship, but for loyalty. Skyler and Tasha are still in the ring as Mustafa, Mila Moore and Special Agent Zero leave, alienated by what is going on. Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Jason Hotch, who has seen Order 4 in the ring on a nearby screen. Hotch says he does not know if he can find the words, as Skyler is his best friend as well as family and they have been through Hell and back together. He says that Mustafa Ali thinks he makes the rules and talks too much, but tonight, he will not wrestle Skyler, as Skyler is his brother. Daria Rae shows up and says Hotch will wrestle Skyler or else he will be suspended or stripped of his title before telling Hotch to be professional.

Before the next match, The Personal Concierge George Iceman says he may not be able to see the fans, but he can smell them, and they all smell like formaldehyde because they are all corpses. He then introduces Mr. Elegance as someone who "smells incredible and looks magnificent."

Rich Swann beats Mr. Elegance after countering Excuse Moi with a roll-up. After the match, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) show up on the ramp with their eyes on BDE.

Jada Stone beats Heather by Elegance to advance in the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament.

We hear from Elayna Black and Xia Brookside in a remote conversation. Elayna says that Brookside was in serious need of humility last week, and as funny as it was, there will be no fun and games at Lockdown, and it will just be the two of them in the steel cage. Brookside says the only embarrassing thing is Elayna's call for attention since she arrived in TNA and has been barking up every tree she can find and talking nonsense like she is the greatest Knockouts in history. She says that Elayna is lying to herself before Elayna tells Brookside that her days are numbered and that her claims will be proven "100% true" as there is nothing she will not do to become Knockouts World Champion. Brookside says that if she did what Elayna did, she would be telling the truth, and that Wendy Choo found out the hard way when she showed up to her division uninvited and got sent packing. She says that everyone who thought they stood a chance were left laying, and that Elayna's embarrassment will continue when her friends and family watch her fail. Brookside ends the conversation, then Elayna says "I can't wait to shut this bitch up."

Backstage, The Elegance Brand (The Personal Concierge George Iceman, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, Mr. Elegance) is not happy with the turn of tonight's events, but The Personal Concierge says it is not the end of the world as they will win the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and the Knockouts Television Championship to become "The Empire of Elegance."

Brian Myers beats Fabian Aichner in a Lethal Lockdown Advantage match with all seconds banned from ringside after kicking Aichner low outside of the referee's field of vision when Myers traps the referee in the corner, allowing Myers to hit a second Roster Cut for the win with Aichner hacing kicked out of the first one.

As per the TNA Injury Report: Jeff Hardy is dealing with lower back pain following last week's main event, but is cleared despite not being at 100% tonight. During Lockdown, medical personnel will be on standby for any medical emergency. "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth's condition is "same as the feeling of the best day of your life, slap your mother with it, and multiply it by 1000." mother with it, and multiply it by 1000."

Harley Hudson has a FaceTime call with Traci Brooks about her career-threatening match with Alisha Edwards. Hudson says that she does not want to fail, but Traci reminds her that she is a TNA Knockout and is a part of TNA's rich history, and that Hudson needs to believe in her like she, the fans and the company do. Traci tells Hudson to remember who she is. Hudson thanks Traci for the advice, and says she cannot let anyone down and that she must beat Alisha.

Before the next match, Jason Hotch says that considers John Skyler his brother and his family and that both of their hands are being forced. He says they do not have to fight, but they can give the fans a great wrestling match and show them what TNA is all about.

Jason Hotch vs. John Skyler ends in a no-contest. Backstage, Mustafa Ali sends Mila Moore to the ring to tell John Skyler that he is to take Jason Hotch out, not wrestle him. Secret Service soon surrounds the ring and fights Hotch, and Special Agent Zero shows up and hits Hotch with a big boot. This ends the match, and Mustafa Ali places a gold badge on top of Hotch, saying that he is part of Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero, Mila Moore) until he says so.

We hear from The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). Vincent says that strength has been in the garden and never in one flower, and while BDE has strength in numbers, he wants to know if the numbers believe in him. Vincent says that Rich Swann is the only thing standing in his way, and Dutch says that BDE has the opportunity to get rid of him. Dutch says some lessons are taught with open hands, while others will be shown. Vincent says the seeds are planted, and it is time to see if BDE grows from it.

Daria Rae guests on commentary for the next match.

Harley Hudson beats Alisha Edwards with a roll-up after Alisha mocks and insults her to save her job in TNA. (Had Harley lost, her TNA contract would have been terminated.) After the match, Alisha attacks Harley, and when Eddie and Alisha Edwards gang up on Harley, Jada Stone runs in and makes the save for Harley.

We see a video package for Leon Slater vs. Cedric Alexander in a Last Man Standing Match for the TNA X-Division Championship at Lockdown.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy), Moose and Elijah beat The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth), AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian in an eight-man tag match. Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for August 13, 2026

Ricky Sosa beats Brian Myers. During the match, Bear Bronson distracts the referee, allowing Cedric Alexander to show up. Sosa hits Cedric with the headshot only for Myers to take advantage, then Myers takes the TNA X-Divison Championship to use as a weapon only for Leon Slater to show up and take the championship away. This allows Ricky Sosa to hit the Heashot on Myers for the win. After the match, Leon Slater says that Cedric Alexander denied him a title shot two weeks ago because Cedric knows he is a "little bitch." Slater then challenges Cedric for the X-Division Championship, saying he will give whatever it takes. Cedric says he has no reason to be jealous of Slater, and says he will put the title on the line if Slater puts his record on the line. If Slater wins, he is champion again, but if Cedric wins, Slater's record is erased for good. Slater accepts the challenge, and says he will see Cedric at Lockdown. Cedric then says that when Slater's record is gone and he is forgotten, he only has himself to blame.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Rich Swann and BDE. Rich Swann says that he and BDE are ready to go against Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Special Agent Zero, John Skyler), and says that Mustafa Ali thought he could control everything only to find out he could not. We hear from AJ Francis as he is in the recording studio. He is about to record vocals for a new song when Elias' guitar is heard. Elijah is on the other side of the booth, and he says there will be no excuses and only a steel cage and the judgment to come in "The Final Encore" at Lockdown. AJ Francis tries to run only to find out the booth is locked, then Elijah disappears.

Moose heads to the ring for "The Face of the Franchise's Speech." Moose mocks Frankie Kazarian throughout, showing off the sunglasses and scarf he stole from him which he says make him look like a douchebag. He tosses the sunglasses and scarf away. Moose calls the fans in Philadelphia his very special guests for tonight, then has some fun with the fans and gets a "Moose!" chant going, saying he will beat Kazarian at Lockdown before Kazarian shows up. Kazarian calls what is going on right now "stupid" and fails miserably to get the crowd on his side before declaring that he is royalty while Moose is "a failed football player" and stating that comparing the two of them is like comparing filet mignon to Wawa gas station food. This gets a brief "Wawa" chant started before Moose tells Kazarian that while he can insult him, he does not insult his guests, and that he will punch him in the face. Kazarian says he does what he wants when he does, then says Moose is a miserable failure as a husband and a father. Moose punches Kazarian in the face anyway, starting a brawl, and security has to jump in and separate both men. (One of the security guards holding Moose back is independent wrestler Lord Crewe.)

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth) leading up to tonight's TNA World Championship main event.

It is announced that Moose was found attacked backstage during the commercial break.

This allows Eddie to grab a shinai, but Navarro is able to use it against Eddie and hit Blessing in Disguise for the win. After the match, Bear Bronson and Brian Myers run into the ring and attack KC Navarro, and Myers grabs a metal folding chair from underneath the ring. The chair is wrap around Navarro's head, but Ricky Sosa, Jada Stone and Fabian Aichner run to the ring and make the save. Director of Authority Santino Marella then shows up. Nic says he feels almost as good as he looks and that everyone is talking about Slammiversary and how he become TNA World Champion. Nic then has Ryan unroll a scroll of all the wrestlers he has put down personally. As Nic Nemeth mentions some guys from high school and college he'd like to face one more time, KC Navarro shows up and admits that he is a little upset about how Nic Nemeth is doing things. This leads to Ryan telling Navarro to get out of the ring, and Navarro threatens to beat Ryan up. Nic tells them to quit arguing when they should be both on the same page, then tells both of them to get it out of their system in a match tonight so they can move on. Nemeth then goes on to declare that he is the best professional wrestler in the world today and dares anybody to face him so they can be added to his list.

He says he has proven why he belongs in TNA, then says that this is just the beginning. He says he hears people talking and felt the pressure, and all that remained was "Bang Bang, Sosa Sosa." He says that some people spend their entire lives not knowing how good they could truly be, which is where they and their ability to create greatness comes in. The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) suddenly show up, and Alisha Edwards says that the only way for Ricky to make a name for himself in TNA is to ride with The System. Eddie tells Ricky that the truth is right there in front of him with Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander, and asks Ricky if he wants to be a champion or join a cult. Vincent says Eddie is speaking empty promises, and that The System view Ricky as a threat. Vincent also alludes to Eddie's recent No Surrender Match loss before Ricky Sosa declares that he is joining neither faction and that he is aligning himself with the fans. Bronson attacks Ricky before staring down Dutch, and Ricky boots Bronson in the face. All of a sudden, Leon Slater shows up and fights off The System before brawling with Cedric and getting laid out by Bronson. The System soon overpower both Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater.

Suddenly, she is interrupted by Lei Ying Lee, who says that there will be a day that she is happy for her and happy that they wrestled each other, but after all Brookside did to her and how Brookside had to cheat to win, she sees not a champion, but "a fake bitch." She says that Lei Ying Lee cost her the championship the moment she showed her a video of her father Robbie Brookside, and says that Lei Ying Lee has no idea about the pressure of being a second-generation wrestler. Brookside says that she did this all by herself and did not have her father's support, and Lei Ying Lee says that she did everything on her own as well. She also says she did not mean to hurt Brookside's feelings. She also says that she will always be by Xia Brookside's side. All of a sudden, Goldy Locks shows up and chews out Heather and M as they disrespect Gia Miller and say that she sucks at holding the microphone, and tells them to step off or else she can call more of her friends. Mr. Elegance jokingly asks if Goldy Locks was working in TNA when he was four years old, and Goldy Locks tells him to shut up because the adults are talking.

Indi Hartwell beats Kelsey Heather. After the match, Indi says she did not come to TNA to have matches and exist; she came to TNA to become Knockouts Champion. She says the woman holding it does not deserve it, and she tells Arianna Grace that she wants her shot. Arianna shows up with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, and tells Indi to get in line if she wants a title shot, as she is not even close to being on her level. Indi agrees, saying she is way above her level as she kicks doors down herself. She tells Arianna that she is facing her sooner or later and becoming the TNA Knockouts World Champion.

Vincent says that The Hardys have what The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) wants and that The System will do whatever it takes to get it. The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth) show up with Nic stating that other teams, including themselves, are coming for the tag titles. Vincent tells The Nemeths that they are making a dangerous choice in disrespecting The Hardys, but Ryan states that he was the one to pin Jeff Hardy.

Trey Miguel, Rich Swann and BDE beat Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch) in a six-man tag match. During the match, Tasha Steelz gets on the apron, but she gets taken down by Jada Stone. He reads a statement where he thanks and praises Daria Rae for reinstating him. Maclin apologizes that this is how their friendship had to end, and if Hannifan were more of a man, he would have taken the punch to the gut, stood back up, and realized what he had been telling him, then says he is weak. He says that he will soon be a two-time World Champion as he tells Hannifan to stay behind the commentary desk, then talks about how he is the most talked-about man in TNA despite not working in TNA for a month. Maclin says that it has been a long time since he was World Champion, and that backstage politics took it from him. He says he has been selflessly fighting to get back to being World Champion before addressing Santana. Maclin says he saw an opportunity and took it, and that it was his ego that would bring him back just like how Santana used his addiction issues to get everyone to care about him. He considers recording his meetings at the VA or recording voicemails from his father to show how tragic his life is, then says that Santana was lucky to have a relationship with his father when he does not even remember what his own father sounds like. He says that he has opened death's door and has met death a long time ago, then says it is more about the door Santana opened, the person he let out and the mayhem that will ensue than the World Championship.

We hear from Rosemary, who looks back on their time in TNA before writing down the seven deadly sins on a piece of parchment.

Moose and Alisha Edwards head to the ring. Moose says that the one thing that pisses him off about The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) is that they have the nerve to call themselves a family when it is just four individuals whose feelings get hurt when one person outshines them. He goes on to call Atlanta Falcons in the front row a real family. He says that they went to war together, and when one of them made it to the Pro Bowl, he was the proudest man in the room. He says that one cannot save everybody, and that Maclin will not be saved from the ass-whupping he will give him. Santana then asks Director of Authority Santino Marella to come out and reinstant Maclin so he can give him an ass-whupping, but Daria Rae shows up instead. Daria Raw says that she runs the show, not Santana, then says that he agrees with Santana on reinstating Maclin as he represents everything the show stands for. She reinstates Maclin, but she decides when Santana will face him, not Santana. Santino shows up and tells Daria Rae that a date has been approved for Santana and Maclin facing each other: at Sacrifice on March 27th, with the TNA World Championship on the line. Santana loves the idea, and says that as soon as Maclin steps into the building, it is on sight, and Maclin has a date with death. The show ends with a replay of the action from tonight's show. At the announce desk, Hannifan is not happy that Maclin got exactly what happened, and Matthew Rehwoldt tells Maclin that he is going to get his ass kicked and that he hopes it was all worth it for Maclin.

Mike Santana heads to the ring. Santana mentions Steve Maclin trying to sneak attack him at No Surrender because he was not man enough to meet him face to face, and tells Maclin that he knows him better than anyone in the back and knows what he is trying to do. He knows that Maclin knows him, too, and if Maclin knocks on Death's door, Death will answer and step to him like a man before dropping him. Santana admits his head was on a swivel when he asked Slater if he had his back and Slater told him that he did, what with Daria Rae getting in his head about Option C, then admits that he did not have Slater's and left him by himself. Santana apologizes for that, and both men shake hands, and says that if Moose did not even the odds, things would have happened differently, but Slater pinned a former World Champion. Slater does not blame Santana for what happened, for this is professional wrestling at the end of the day, then mentions that he pinned "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth, who suddenly heads to the ring with his brother "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth. Ryan speaks, but Santana threatens to make Ryan swallow his microphone in the fans. Nic says Slater got lucky at No Surrender and now has a target on his back thanks to him, but Santana says that was not luck and that Slater is one of the best in the world. Nic says Slater and Santana were the better man, but he is the best man and the draw around here. Slater proposes that he and Santana have a tag team match with The Nemeths right here, right now. He says that she will squeeze them in next week if they are lucky, then tells everyone to get out of the ring for the next match.

Before the next match, Arianna Grace proclaims that No Surrender was amazing, and that while TNA's best was on display, everyone was talking about her at the end of the night after she walked out TNA Knockouts World Champion. She tells the fans to accept it, then says that she has heard all the hate and all the whispers, and while her father Director of Authority Santino Marella got her the match, she was the one to win the title, and she admits that she played Santino like a fiddle. Arianna tells those who think she does not deserve this that she does, and says that wrestling is not just about being tough, but also about leverage, power and using what you have to get what you want, and she got everything. She then declares that Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo will use his rematch clause to win back the TNA International Championship and become part of the biggest power couple in wrestling.

Eric Young says that he will cleanse TNA of the false prophets, liars, cheats, thieves and bandits, either by his hand or someone else's. He says Leon Slater is among them, and says that Slater is seeking validation from the wrong people and wrecking TNA's legacy, and that he has to step in and fix this and channel the truth. He says that the second phase of "the cleanse" is saving the X Division, and dares someone to stop him.

Jody Threat beats Tessa Blanchard by disqualification after she is suddenly attacked by Victoria Crawford. Brian Myers mentions that there is still so mistrust between The Righteous and The Hardys before The System leaves. Dutch apologizes for the miscommunication at No Surrender and will continue to apologize until The Hardys regain their trust. Jeff appreciates the timing, and Matt apologizes before he and Jeff leave. Vincent tells Dutch that Daria Rae will ensure they get their foot in the door before it closes.

Elayna Black heads to the ring. Elayna says she was so close to a Knockouts title shot before Mara Sadé stole her moment, then proclaims that everyone is out for her. She states that at the end of the day, she is the only one who should have walked out with the title. She says that Mara Sadé taking that title shot from her when she is the only one who matters is absolutely sickening to her, and wants Mara Sadé to explain herself before stating that the Knockouts title will be hers. Mara Sadé shows up and mentions that the two of them have a shared history, but Elayna says the big difference between them is that she sacrificed on the indies to get here while Mara Sadé was handed the opportunity to be a pro wrestler. She says that she earned this, and that regardless of who is in her way, she will be Knockouts Champion while Mara Sadé will continue to be an obvious industry plant who does not deserve a single second here. Mara Sadé says Elayna hates her because the industry did not break her, and tells Elayna to prove she is a fraud if she wants to expose her. Elayna calls Mara Sadé another step in the obstacle course that she will overcome.

It is announced that Steve Maclin has been allowed to tell his side of the story regarding his recent events next week via an interview from Tom Hannifan.

Matthew Rehwoldt moderates one more meeting between "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth - which has a no-contact clause - before their Iron Man Match for the TNA World Championship at Emergence. Alexander says everyone, including Nemeth, is on his time from now on, as he has done everything under TNA's terms and he will take the world title on his terms now. Nemeth says he is happy and overjoyed to have a world title in his hands, and while he respects what Alexander has done, he feels lucky to win the championship and says that he is a fighting champion. He also wants to know why everyone knows his name but nobody knows Alexander's, and also says Alexander could have walked up to him, looked him in the eye and demanded for a championship match. When asked what has gone wrong, Alexander says everything - fans, management, everything but him - has gone wrong, and says that nobody is champion until they beat him. He also says people like Nemeth show up and have the welcome mat rolled out for them and also calls this part of the problem, and says that tomorrow night, the TNA World Championship will be back on his waist and TNA will be better off for it. Nemeth says Alexander is the same old guy and that the business always changes and that one must improve every single day, not refer back to the history books, as this is what the business is every day. This leads to a heated argument between Alexander and Nemeth, with Alexander saying he is "the fucking standard" while Nemeth states that he is now the best and that he will fight to the death to stay champion.

Santino says there will still be a one-on-one match, but Cardona says they will build to it.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship ends in a time limit draw. After the match, Nemeth wants five more minutes, but Alexander rolls out of the ring and heads to the back. Nemeth drags Alexander back to the ring, but Alexander kicks him in the groin and then demands the five extra minutes. When he does not get them, Alexander takes the TNA World Championship into the ring and tells Nemeth that it belongs to him.
