Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for August 13, 2026

Ricky Sosa beats Brian Myers. During the match, Bear Bronson distracts the referee, allowing Cedric Alexander to show up. Sosa hits Cedric with the headshot only for Myers to take advantage, then Myers takes the TNA X-Divison Championship to use as a weapon only for Leon Slater to show up and take the championship away. This allows Ricky Sosa to hit the Heashot on Myers for the win. After the match, Leon Slater says that Cedric Alexander denied him a title shot two weeks ago because Cedric knows he is a "little bitch." Slater then challenges Cedric for the X-Division Championship, saying he will give whatever it takes. Cedric says he has no reason to be jealous of Slater, and says he will put the title on the line if Slater puts his record on the line. If Slater wins, he is champion again, but if Cedric wins, Slater's record is erased for good. Slater accepts the challenge, and says he will see Cedric at Lockdown. Cedric then says that when Slater's record is gone and he is forgotten, he only has himself to blame.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Rich Swann and BDE. Rich Swann says that he and BDE are ready to go against Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Special Agent Zero, John Skyler), and says that Mustafa Ali thought he could control everything only to find out he could not. BDE says their partner has been waiting for the right moment to get his hands on Mustafa again. Swann says everyone is going to find out who their mystery tag team partner is very soon.

We hear from AJ Francis as he is in the recording studio. He is about to record vocals for a new song when Elias' guitar is heard. Elijah is on the other side of the booth, and he says there will be no excuses and only a steel cage and the judgment to come in "The Final Encore" at Lockdown. AJ Francis tries to run only to find out the booth is locked, then Elijah disappears.

Moose heads to the ring for "The Face of the Franchise's Speech." Moose mocks Frankie Kazarian throughout, showing off the sunglasses and scarf he stole from him which he says make him look like a douchebag. He tosses the sunglasses and scarf away. Moose calls the fans in Philadelphia his very special guests for tonight, then has some fun with the fans and gets a "Moose!" chant going, saying he will beat Kazarian at Lockdown before Kazarian shows up. Kazarian calls what is going on right now "stupid" and fails miserably to get the crowd on his side before declaring that he is royalty while Moose is "a failed football player" and stating that comparing the two of them is like comparing filet mignon to Wawa gas station food. This gets a brief "Wawa" chant started before Moose tells Kazarian that while he can insult him, he does not insult his guests, and that he will punch him in the face. Kazarian says he does what he wants when he does, then says Moose is a miserable failure as a husband and a father. Moose punches Kazarian in the face anyway, starting a brawl, and security has to jump in and separate both men. (One of the security guards holding Moose back is independent wrestler Lord Crewe.)

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth) leading up to tonight's TNA World Championship main event.

It is announced that Moose was found attacked backstage during the commercial break.

KC Navarro beats Eddie Edwards. During the match, Alisha throws her shoe in the ring, then distracts the referee. This allows Eddie to grab a shinai, but Navarro is able to use it against Eddie and hit Blessing in Disguise for the win. After the match, Bear Bronson and Brian Myers run into the ring and attack KC Navarro, and Myers grabs a metal folding chair from underneath the ring. The chair is wrap around Navarro's head, but Ricky Sosa, Jada Stone and Fabian Aichner run to the ring and make the save. Director of Authority Santino Marella then shows up. Santino admits he does not like the use of weapons, but says there will be a time and place for it, as Aichner, Navarro, Sosa and Jada will face The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson) in a Lethal Lockdown Match with weapons at Lockdown.

Rich Swann and BDE leave, then Francis pockets some of the money for himself while the crowd of people from earlier laugh at him behind his back.

KC Navarro is in the ring. Navarro says that Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will always hold a special place in his heart, then mentions his match with Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship and admits he came up short, stating nobody was harder on himself than himself. He felt for a moment that he did not belong in TNA even after everything he had ever been through, but he thought about his journey to this point as well as his past attempts to get into TNA. Navarro says he fought so he could be an inspiration to kids, including his baby brothers in the front row watching him after his high school told him he would not be anything, and says that he finally belongs. He says that despite having friends who turned his back on him, his story is just beginning. Suddenly, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) show up. Alisha Edwards says nobody cares about "crybaby KC," and Brian Myers makes fun of Navarro for tearing his ACL. He then says that he set up a daycare section with crayons and a coloring book and tells Navarro to go to the back. Cedric then cuts a promo on Leon Slater, saying he will never get a shot at the X Division Championship, and Eddie says Slater and Ricky Sosa are worthy of a match against The System. Navarro butts in, saying that The System look more like bitches than gatekeepers. Eddie tells Navarro he made a big mistake, and Navarro gets jumped by The System before Ricky Sosa, Leon Slater and Fabian Aichner rush in and clear the ring.

Dead City actress Aimee Garcia is seen in the front row.

Before the next match, The Personal Concierge George Iceman shows up and announces that he can see again, then says he wishes he could not see again because all the fans are "ugly, filthy pigs" before introducing The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, Mr. Elegance).

Allie vs. The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) ends in a no-contest after The Personal Concierge George Iceman tries to bring in a Knockouts Tag Team title as a weapon only for Allie to take it away and rake him in the eye. Mr. Elegance soon gets in the ring only to get blasted, as does Heather when she grabs at Allie, which causes the referee to call for the bell. M by Elegance also gets decked with the championship, and multiple referees have to surround the ring as Allie stands in the ring, furious. DEMONxBUNNY (Allie and Rosemary) retain the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.

Jeff says that he is sober and "an enlightened enigma," then says they are going to kick some ass around TNA. Matt says that it is time to spit some facts, and declares that The Hardys are the greatest tag team of pro wrestling and that they are the reason that TNA is on AMC and "runs on Hardy dust." He then says that it is appropriate that they won the tag team titles back in a ladder match, as there would be no ladder match without The Hardys. All of a sudden, The Nemeths ("The Wanted Man" Nic and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth) show up. Nic says he is better than both of The Hardys and he has Ryan with him, and Ryan says they are the best brother tag team of all time. Ryan also brags about the time he beat Jeff Hardy. Backstage, Daria Rae tells Director of Authority Santino Marella that she has made a match of her own, and at Lockdown, The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) will face DEMONxBUNNY (Rosemary and Allie) in a steel cage for the Knockouts Tag Team titles, assuming Rosemary can be found. She also says that she has to "trim the fat," and at the top of her list is Harley Hudson, who has not won a match in months. As Santino defends Harley, Daria Rae looks forward to talking to the board to terminate Harley's contract.

Jada Stone beats Jody Threat with a schoolkid pin to advance in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament.

Jason Hotch beats Mustafa Ali to become the TNA International Champion! During the match, Mustafa Ali shoves referee Daniel Spencer into harm's way, causing Jason Hotch to inadvertently squash him in the corner. This allows Mustafa to hit Hotch with a low blow before ripping the belt off Hotch's trunks and whipping him with it. John Skyler gets on the apron and takes the belt from Mustafa disarming him, and Mustafa shoves Skyler off the ring apron. Skyler then gets back on the apron only to be inadvertently hit by Hotch. Mustafa then uses the ropes for leverage to pin Hotch after the referee comes to, but the pinfall attempt is stopped by Tasha Steelz, who is immediately confronted by Mila Moore. This starts a brawl between Tasha and Mila that John Skyler and Special Agent Zero have to take to the back. After a series of pinfall attempts, Mustafa hits Hotch with a top rope 450 only for Hotch to counter afterwards with a crucifix pin attempt. Mustafa then charges at Hotch in the corner only for Hotch to dodge. Hotch goes to the top rope, but Mustafa trips him down. She also mentions that Santino has been declared as "being under thin ice" at a recent board meeting, then mentions that the winner of Xia Brookside vs. Arianna Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship in tonight's main event will defend against Lei Ying Lee at Rebellion. He says they would have been great friends and a great faction and made money under different circumstances. As Matt Hardy describes Dutch's bashing the back of his head against the wall, he almost turns into "Broken" Matt Hardy before stating that The Hardys will snuff The Righteous out. Jeff Hardy says The Righteous made a mistake and that the talk of respect and brotherhood is over, and Matt says that all they will talk about now is apocalyptic consequences. The Righteous show up, and Vincent says they are still a great team as well as family, and insists that what they did was not to them, but for them, and that they removed what was in the way. He says love requires sacrifice, and Dutch states that they do not cling to the kind and gentle. Dutch says that Matt Hardy is stronger than death, and that The Hardys are not a sacrifice, but an offering. Matt Hardy offers to kick The Righteous' asses right now, and Vincent says that the pressure in Matt's chest is not pain or anger, but Matt's old self trying to survive something greater. Vincent says The Hardys are running away from themselves and have something they want, which is not money, not the tag titles, but something forgotten yet still breathing. As Matt Hardy dares The Righteous to get in the ring and fight them right now, Vincent says that is a good idea, but not tonight. He then states the calendar has many ways of aligning, and Matt wants The Hardys vs. The Righteous next week. Dutch loves the idea, but requests that this must be done "Hardy style" and "in the way of extreme." Jeff Hardy likes the idea, and says it will not just be a tag team title match, but also a tag team tables match.

Before the next match, The White Rabbit gets in the way of Victoria Crawford as Victoria heads to the ring with Tessa Blanchard. All of a sudden, Victoria Crawford is nowhere to be seen, and Tessa unknowingly walks to the ring alone.

Backstage, Mike Santana is approached by Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace. Santana is not in the mood to deal with them as Arianna mentions Santana getting pinned, with Stacks saying it is a bad look. He then reveals that it was him, saying that he made his debut two years ago in New Orleans, Louisiana by beating Joe Hendry and has beaten everyone's favorites. He says that all Nic Nemeth has done is steal opportunity from him, then says that no matter who it is he has to beat, he is the real show stealer of TNA. He also says that he never wanted to play for the New Orleans Saints because of how the fans are, then Ryan Nemeth shows up and confronts AJ Francis. Francis tells Ryan that he will leave him laying like he did his brother.

Backstage, Lei Ying Lee shows Xia Brookside a video message from Robbie Brookside, telling her that she has this match and that it is her birthright to be the TNA Knockouts World Champion.

The One Man Gang is seen in the crowd.

Arianna Grace retains the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Xia Brookside thanks to constant interference by Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. After the match, Stacks and Arianna are about to gang up on Lei Ying Lee as she checks on Xia Brookside, then Mike Santana shows up and confronts them before hitting Stacks with Spin the Block. Eddie Edwards then shows up in the crowd with a microphone, saying that Santana lets his emotions call the shots and let Stacks and Arianna get in his head when he should be World Champion, and that allowed him to pin Santana twice. He says that Santana's "bruised little ego" is in control and not Santana himself, but Santana says Eddie is talking tough for somebody on the other side of the guardrail and dares Eddie to get in the ring and say those words to him like a man. Eddie teases doing that, but then decides not to, saying he has already beaten Santana once tonight and that he will do it again at Rebellion and walk out as World Champion while Santana is known as the man who could not hold it together on the biggest night of his life. Santana tells Eddie that the only thing that will not hold together will be his face when he stamps it out, and that when he steps into the ring at Rebellion, he is up against the face and standard of TNA for the World Championship.

At the end of the show, Tessa Blanchard finds herself in the Undead Realm, and is introduced to the Undead Realm by none other than Father James Mitchell.

Indi Hartwell beats Kelsey Heather. After the match, Indi says she did not come to TNA to have matches and exist; she came to TNA to become Knockouts Champion. She says the woman holding it does not deserve it, and she tells Arianna Grace that she wants her shot. Arianna shows up with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, and tells Indi to get in line if she wants a title shot, as she is not even close to being on her level. He reads a statement where he thanks and praises Daria Rae for reinstating him. Maclin apologizes that this is how their friendship had to end, and if Hannifan were more of a man, he would have taken the punch to the gut, stood back up, and realized what he had been telling him, then says he is weak. He says that he will soon be a two-time World Champion as he tells Hannifan to stay behind the commentary desk, then talks about how he is the most talked-about man in TNA despite not working in TNA for a month. Maclin says that it has been a long time since he was World Champion, and that backstage politics took it from him. He says he has been selflessly fighting to get back to being World Champion before addressing Santana. Maclin says he saw an opportunity and took it, and that it was his ego that would bring him back just like how Santana used his addiction issues to get everyone to care about him. He considers recording his meetings at the VA or recording voicemails from his father to show how tragic his life is, then says that Santana was lucky to have a relationship with his father when he does not even remember what his own father sounds like. He says that he has opened death's door and has met death a long time ago, then says it is more about the door Santana opened, the person he let out and the mayhem that will ensue than the World Championship.

When Daria Rae notices that Steve Maclin is saying goodbye to some people, she takes him as an uninvited guest and gets angry. Steve Maclin then looks at the camera and talks about how TNA was home for him for five years and made him a two-time International Champion as well as a World Champion. Ash thanks the fans before declaring how beautiful she is in addition to being the new TNA Knockouts World Champion in addition to TNA's savior. She says TNA needed to be saved, so she headed to Heatwave and captured the title, and says it is all because of her. She says that not even Masha Slamovich could do this and that she beat so many opponents to become champion before Masha shows up to spoil the proceedings. Masha says that all she sees is "a coward hiding behind servants," and while she is crashing the party, she has breaking news: at Victory Road, she gets a chance at the Knockouts Championship and prove why Ash's win was a fluke. She also says she will beat The Elegance Brand's asses as soon as she gets in the ring. As she tries to make good on her word, Ash throws champagne into Masha's eyes, then Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee rush in to even the numbers game. When the personal concierge tries to stop Masha from putting Heather through a table, The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) show up and chase The Elegance Brand away. This allows Masha to punch her fist through the portrait before she, Xia, Lei Ying Lee and The IInspiration tear it up.

He says that The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose, JDC) took a stand against him and Order 4, and if they refuses to lower their heads, he will break their necks and quell any opposition that they create. He says that the choice between Order 4 and The System belongs to the fans, but TNA is his.

Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for August 21, 2025

Trick Williams heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He says he feels bad for the fans in Baltimore, Maryland not because their crab cakes are bad or because they will never be as good as the Philadelphia Eagles, but for keeping Moose down in his own hometown much like how Mike Santana was kept down in his own hometown. He also does not care if he has the TNA World Championship upside-down because he turned TNA upside down, set attendance and earnings records and is about to hold two titles at the same time. Santana shows up in the crowd and asks the fans if they are tired of hearing Trick run his mouth, as Trick has pissed off the locker room despite what he has done, then tells Trick that he was not the man that he beat and that regardless of whether it is at TNA or at NXT, he will hunt Trick down, spin that block and become the new TNA World Champion. Trick says Santana does not have what it takes to be TNA World Champion, as he had two opportunities to take the title from him and he could not spin the block, and he will not give him another opportunity. All of a sudden, Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and states that Santana does not deserve a title shot and that the fans want to see it, and makes the match official. Trick says that will not be happening before Santino gets finished, as he has it written that he must defend the title every 50 days. He also says he is doing Santana a favor so that he will not embarrass himself in front of his family again. Santana rushes into the ring and runs Trick out, then dares Trick to get into the ring.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz). Mustafa Ali says he hates being disrespected, provoked and pushed and makes him want to push back and fight and do something about it, and that Order 4 feels the same way about Matt Cardona and The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose, JDC) after they have done the same to him. He says he cannot trust The System and neither can Order 4 and the fans, as he puts his trust only in himself.

Trick Williams runs into AJ Francis, then Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up. Santino says that while he will be looking into the championship clause in his contract, Trick is not exempt from competing, and next week, he and AJ Francis will face Mike Santana and another tag team partner.

Jody Threat beats Killer Kelly, Xia Brookside, Rosemary, Dani Luna, Indi Hartwell in a Knockouts Gauntlet Match to earn a future shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship ends in a no-contest. During the match, Rosemary briefly attacks Indi on ther way out, and Dani Luna snaps on Indi Hartwell and attacks her when Indi counters her counter of Hurts, Don't It?. When Jody Threat shows up, she is disappointed in Dani Luna's actions, but Dani Luna says "I did this for you. Ring the bell. Do it." When Jody Threat gets in the ring, Dani Luna gets back in the ring with a metal folding chair, and Jody has to stop her. Dani throws the chair down, then punches Jody out and attacks Indi with the chair, causing the match to end and causing Jody Threat to win by disqualification. Security has to get into the ring to stop Dani Luna, but Dani Luna snaps on security before leaving. Jody Threat leaves with Indi Hartwell, surprised at Dani Luna's behavior.

Frankie Kazarian beats Jake Something Near the end of the match, Kazarian rips off a turnbuckle cover as Jake pulls him out of the corner, and Kazarian soon rams Jake's head into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting Fade to Black for the win. After the match, Kazarian throws the turnbuckle pad under the ring to hide the evidence.

Jacy Jayne heads to the ring. Jacy says there is not a woman in the back who has reached her level in success and that some of them could not hold the Knockouts World Championship, much less both the Knockouts and NXT Women's Championship, and that even Director of Authority Santino Marella knew that nobody could beat her one-on-one and put two of TNA's best against her for the Knockouts Championship. She says that TNA has been desperate to take the Knockouts Championship, but when the odds are against her, she thrives. She also says that she has never received a "thank you" for bringing the TNA Knockouts World Championship to NXT, and instead, she gets Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance, and that the Knockouts refuse to respect her and instead celebrate mediocrity, and will be hoping that TNA takes the Knockouts title back at Heatwave only for Masha and Ash to come back empty handed. Suddenly, the personal concierge George Iceman shows up and tells Jacy to shut her mouth, and Ash by Elegance shows up calling Jacy Jayne an attention whore, saying everyone should be talking about her and what she has done, which she claims pales in comparison to Jacy being a double champion. Ash says it should be about her and Jacy and not "Masha Slamo-bitch," then Masha shows up and says that everyone is tired of hearing "teen Britney Spears" and "emo Katy Perry" run their mouths and that she will kick both of their asses and take back the Knockouts Wourld Championship. Jacy Jayne holds up both of her title and leaves while Ash and Masha argue.

Backstage, Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch) make fun of Mara Sadé's art when Mara and The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) show up. This leads to Mara challenging Tasha to a match, which Tasha laughs off until Matt Hardy tells her "You are such a bitch." Tasha and The Great Hands leave, and we find out that the painting in question is the Hardy Boyz logo.

Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch) beat Matt Cardona and The System (Moose and Brian Myers) in a six-man tag match. During the match, Eddie Edwards shows up as The System, Matt Cardona and even Alisha Edwards are laid out on the outside, but gets booted in the face by Agent Zero. After the match, Mustafa Ali grabs a metal folding chair and smashes it into Matt Cardona's back, then orders his Secret Service members to hold down Moose. All of a sudden, JDC shows up with a metal folding chair, then takes out Agent Zero and another Secret Service member before diving into the rest of them to make the save for Moose. Agent Zero gets back up and headbutts JDC before he can strike him with the chair, then choke bombs him into the chair. Order 4 celebrate to end the show as the Secret Service members continue to hold down Moose.

Backstage, we hear from The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Matt says that there have been a few bumps in the road since losing the TNA World Tag Team Championships, but tonight, they will get back on the path to the titles when they step in the ring with Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) and beat them. Jeff says he could not have said it better himself.

It's time for The Fir$t Cla$$ Penthouse. Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) introduces themselves before plugging their new T-shirts at TNA Shop, then Francis decides to give away $100 to the kid who can do the best "Money, Money, Money" chant. They pick a kid named Pedro out of the crowd, then humiliate him by not giving him the money after he does the chant. AJ Francis then introduces Trick Williams before he and KC Navarro make fun of Joe Hendry, then AJ Francis asks Trick Williams how he feels about Fir$t Cla$$. Trick Williams approves of them, then says the only way the TNA World Championship would look better is if he and KC Navarro had tag team titles to go with hit. Franics mentions their match with The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) tonight and says that they will be first in line for the TNA World Tag Team Championships when they win. JDC mentions the strife going on in Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, Tasha Steelz) and admits he is impressed with him. Myers says The System has no leader, and Eddie offers Hotch a spot in The System. The rest of Order 4 show up, and Jason Hotch leaves with them. Alisha then notices Matt Cardona, and The System takes his presence as a threat. Eddie challenges Cardona to a tag team match with a partner of his choosing, and Cardona accepts. Myers briefly stares down Cardona as the rest of The System leave.

As per the Bioflex Injury Report, Heather by Elegance is cleared following a chipped tooth from the Countdown to Against All Odds. Tessa says it does not matter how many women she has to face, because she will be the winner and she will be the #1 contender to the Knockouts World Championship while everyone else is in the way. She then says that the women's division will realize that they do not need a leader; they need a reminder of who built it.

Indi Hartwell, Tasha Steelz, Killer Kelly, and Jody Threat beat Rosemary, Dani Luna, Tessa Blanchard and Xia Brookside in the eight-woman tag match portion of an 8-4-1 Match to compete in a four-way match to determine a #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Killer Kelly beats Tasha Steelz, Indi Hartwell and Jody Threat in the four-way match portion of an 8-4-1 Match to become #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship after picking the bones when Indi hits Hurts, Don't It? on Tasha.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Masha Slamovich. Masha says that she and Killer Kelly were always met to be and that she knows Kelly better than she knows herself, and while Kelly has been doing "God knows what," she has been busy being TNA Knockouts World Champion, and when she meets Kelly in two weeks, she will put her back in her place: on her knees in front of her, being her bitch.

We hear from Steve Maclin, who addresses Mance Warner's recent comments. He says Warner gave him the fight that he said he would give him, and while he hit him the hardest he has been hit in a long time, he is still TNA International Champion. Next week, he will be in the teaming up in Champions' Challenge with people "he could not give two shits about" except Trick Williams. He says Trick does not know a thing about TNA because he is TNA and he is one of the few pillars TNA has left. Maclin warns Trick he will be keeping an eye on him to see if he plays fair, because if he does not and he crosses the line, he will not be afraid to drop him on his head for a KIA. He also warns any potential challengers who want to cross the line to remember who is holding that line.

Mance Warner and Steph de Lander. De Lander calls Against All Odds a robbery, as Warner had Steve Maclin beat and they were screwed. She says that they are the ones doing the screwing and that she will make sure this will never happen again, as this is their era. Warner then threatens a production assistant, and Steph de Lander, security and even Tommy Dreamer have to step in before things get worse. Warner then gets in a brawl with Dreamer and suplexes him on the stage before laying him out with a kick to the face. Warner and de Lander then make out before leaving.

Everyone starts brawling, and Elijah, Hendry, The Hardys, Leon Slater and The Rascalz are the only ones left in the ring before Leon Slater jumps over the ring post and takes everyone else out to end the show.
