Kazarian then introduces Leon Slater, who heads to the ring first, before introducing Cedric Alexander, who heads to the ring second. Kazarian asks Slater how it felt to come up short of making history, and Slater says he would be lying if he said it did not hurt. Cedric laughs and says he is glad it hurt, and Slater threatens to slap the look off his face before telling Cedric that he does not know what it is like to have so many people count on him only to fail. Cedric continues to brag about stopping Slater from having the longest reign with the X Division Championship, then says that he proved that Slater was not on his level and that everyone will remember how he beat Slater and stole his dream. Kazarian has to stop a brawl between the two men when Slater shoves Cedric in response and tell them to save it for Slammiversary, then says that Daria Rae gave him some information on their Ultimate X match: he is the third opponent in the match.
