She says she should have done this a long time ago, then says her favorite part in all of this is the look on Lei Ying Lee's face when her whole world was shattered. She says Lei Ying Lee did not see it coming because she is "a dumbass," and at Slammiversary, she will become Knockouts World Champion. Lei Ying Lee shows up and says she treated Brookside like a sister, but now she sees who she really is: a snake and a rat. She says something in Mandarin, then translates herself, saying she will not wait until Slammiversary and do it right now. Brookside tries to run away, but Lei Ying Lee gets her hands on her, and security has to show up and break up the ensuing brawl. It's time for The King's Speech. Frankie Kazarian gives a brief history of the Ultimate X Match because the fans in Denver, Colorado "live in the mountains and don't get much information" before saying that the match was made for him and has won more of them than anyone else. Kazarian then introduces Leon Slater, who heads to the ring first, before introducing Cedric Alexander, who heads to the ring second. Kazarian asks Slater how it felt to come up short of making history, and Slater says he would be lying if he said it did not hurt. Cedric laughs and says he is glad it hurt, and Slater threatens to slap the look off his face before telling Cedric that he does not know what it is like to have so many people count on him only to fail. Cedric continues to brag about stopping Slater from having the longest reign with the X Division Championship, then says that he proved that Slater was not on his level and that everyone will remember how he beat Slater and stole his dream. Kazarian has to stop a brawl between the two men when Slater shoves Cedric in response and tell them to save it for Slammiversary, then says that Daria Rae gave him some information on their Ultimate X match: he is the third opponent in the match. He says that it does not matter if Cedric is champion or that Slater was champion, as the king will reign supreme.

This leads to a "He's a bitch" chant when Ryan disagrees, and Santana says he is still waiting. Nic Nemeth shows up and says Santana is "too emotional" and feeding off the people, then gives credit where it is due and says Santana has made the most of his fifteen minutes of fame before stating he is the best and that Santana is on borrowed time. This distraction allows Eli Isom to recover and hit The Promise for the win.
We hear from O'Shay Edwards, who talks about his upcoming Survival of the Fittest tournament match "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson. He says that he is more overlooked than Dickinson, saying everyone knows who Dickinson is and that people in business suits are sweating and that Dickinson is also sweating because the pressure to win is on, and if he loses, so do the suits. We then hear from Dickinson, who says that he is already "the fittest" and has survived more adversity than everyone else, then asks who is ready to face adversity from being in the ring. He says it is sorry that O'Shay Edwards has to be the first he has to go through, then says it has to be somebody and that he cannot think of a better way to put an exclamation point on everything and "stick it up everybody's ass" by winning the ROH World Championship. That match will happen on tomorrow's ROH Week By Week on YouTube.
The Foundation ("Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against La Faccion Ingobernable (Kenny King and Dragon Lee) by disqualfication in a Pure Rules Tag Team Match after Kenny King breaks up a pinfall with no rope breaks left. After the match, La Bestia del Ring shows up and attacks The Foundation, but Johnathan Gresham and Jay Lethal show up to reverse the numbers game. Dixon says he is tired of playing "dojo propaganda crap," and says that violence is what happens when pure wrestling fails. He also says he is not here to fit in. Bruiser says he is going to make a name for himself, and says that Dixon is his kind of man and will make a name for the two of themselves. The Righteous (Bateman, Vita Von Starr, Dutch) head to the ring. He says that while the seat at the top of the mountain may be empty, they can still hear the thunder. He says that Vincent may be gone, but his hand is guiding the knife. Vita Von Starr reads a letter from Vincent stating that Vincent is a master of survival, and while he may not be here physically, he does not cease to exist, and that this is the door to a righteous rebirth. Bateman says that Vita can tie the world in knots if she has to, that Dutch is an inhuman and hollow monster, and that he himself was born with a devil in himself. We then hear from Fred Yehi, who says that he needs this win after losing match after match. He admits that Dak Draper is a big guy and is currently on a tear, but says that he needs to win or else he doesn't eat. He asks Draper if he is ready to go toe-to-toe with a "hungry savageweight."
Will Ferrara guests on commentary for the next match.
Dark Draper beats Fred Yehi in a Pure Rules match.
Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews Tony Deppen, who says that one match stands between him and a rematch with Dragon Lee, and that match is with Kenny King. We hear from Kenny King, who says that Tony Deppen has stepped into dangerous waters and that the Internet has hyped him up. Tony Deppen beats Kenny King after countering the Royal Flush into an inside cradle. After the match, La Bestia del Ring stomps Deppen in the ring, then King hits Deppen with the Royal Flush before Dragon Lee hits Deppen with a running knee. Suddenly, Brody King runs into the ring and fights everyone, and Rush runs into the ring to brawl with Brody King only to be slammed into the mat. Flamita beats "The Mercenary" Flip Gordon after Mark Briscoe slips a chair into the ring to distract Flip Gordon, then hits Flip Gordon from behind with another chair from outside of the referee's field of vision to give Flamita the win. Next week: Eli Isom vs. Rey Horus! The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, Rhett Titus) vs. La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, La Bestia del Ring)!
We hear from Jonathan Gresham, who says that holding the ROH World Championship meant that you were more and that you had a duty to protect professional wrestling freedom at all costs. He says that Rush has not continued this tradition and is not the champion ROH needs, and says that the ROH Pure Championship should be no different from what the world title was once as it means that he is the best pure professional wrestler in the world and has a duty to the company and the fans. He says that ROH was the alternative and once represented professional wrestling freedom, and if he has anything to say about it, he will make that happen again.
We hear form Dak Draper, who says that he is big, talented and good-looking. He says that his father showed him what it took to become the center of attention, and it got to the point that he became a feared opponent in collegiate wrestling and football. He says that while his last collegiate wrestling match got him a WWE try-out, it was not as fulfulling as he thought it would be. When he was invited to ROH last year to face Dragon Lee in a losing effort, he reached an all-time low while his confidence was at an all-time high. He also feels he should not have been an alternate in the ROH Pure Championship Tournament, as he would have run through it like he did last year's Top Prospect Tournament. He says that people look up to and respect Brian Johnson, who is waiting for the call just like him and when he looks at himself, he says that Ring of Honor should be lucky to have him. We then hear from Brian Johnson, who says that he has loved professional wrestling since day one, and while he does not have a history in other sports, he became "one heck of a professional wrestler." He says that the ROH Dojo saw him outwork everyone else, but when Dak Draper showed up, ROH fell in love with Draper and forgot about him, giving everything he worked and sacrificed for. He says he is sick and tired of failing, and that while tonight's Pure Rules match might be another match for Draper, it is his one opportunity to show it is "Mecca vs. Everybody."
Dak Draper beats Brian Johnson via pinfall in 11:03 in a Pure Rules Match. During the match, Johnson uses his third and final rope break when he tries to use the ropes for leverage during a pinfall attempt only to get caught by referee Joe Mandak.
We hear from Brody King, who talks about growing up in the local music scene and staying away from drugs, becoming straight-edge and partaking in the militant aspect of the movement. He then talks about how he got into professional wrestling later in life and took well to it, then talks about his ROH debut and his success with PCO in tag team wrestling. He says that he is now his own man, and that he is now aiming for a singles championship. He says he will do whatever it takes to get a shot at Rush for the ROH World Championship. He says that like Dalton Castle - who he admits is unpredictable - he is used to wrestling hurt, and says that Dalton Castle showed heart in the ROH Pure Championship Tournament, and that he wants the Dalton Castle who won the World Championship. We also hear from Dalton Castle, who says that he is more dangerous than he is given credit for, and while he did not win the ROH Pure Championship, he says he will look into where he went wrong, and while Brody King is not impossible, he has to plan it correctly. Dalton says he has never been more focused in his life, and that he will not let anyone succeed at his expense, as he feels something changing inside of him. He says that emotion can work in his favor as well as it works against it, and that he will prove just how dangerous he really is when he faces Brody King.
Brody King beats Dalton Castle via pinfall in 14:45.
