Before the next match, "The Mecca" Brian Johnson says that the legacy of TNA was built on the back of some of the most innovative performers, some of which have created the best matches in a TNA ring. He says that his opponent is no different and this opponent has a future in which he can really make an impact, then says he will slap him so far upside his head that he will think the ring has six sides. He says that if anyone starts a list of the future of TNA, it begins and ends with him.

"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats Kuro. During the match, Brian Johnson gets caught using the bottom rope for leverage during a pinfall, and when Johnson argues with the referee, Kuro goes for a ripcord clothesline. Johnson ducks, and Kuro nearly hits the referee. Johnson thumbs Kuro in the eye, then hits The Process for the win.
