Let's Go! - LFG recap for August 9, 2026 (Episode Two)

We see Kali Armstrong running as part of her exercise routine. Kali talks about the world record in sprint relay that she still holds at the University of Southern California. She says that there is a lot of pressure in WWE due to there being so much talent, but she sees that pressure as a privilege.

Coach Matt Bloom meets with Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano and Bubba Ray Dudley. Gargano gets Kali Armstrong vs. Chantel Monroe. Bloom says that Armstrong is a generational talent who likes to learn and work hard, while Chantel is scratching and clawing to work hard and get noticed. Bloom mentions that both women are comfortable as heels, and Gargano gets the idea to do a heel vs. heel match. Owens gets Jaime Garcia - now known as Romeo Moreno - vs. Trill London. Bloom says that Moreno is quirky and does a little bit too much, and Owens thinks that Moreno's movements are "distracting;" meanwhile, Trill London is now medically cleared again, and Coach Bloom hopes that he can stay that way and stick to the basics. Bubba Ray gets Elijah Holyfield and Apollo Crews vs. Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins. Bloom says that Hendrix and Riggins can get gimmicky at times and hopes to see what they can do together, while Elijah and Apollo are gelling as a tag team. Bubba Ray wants to work with Elijah on something very specific coming off of Elijah's last match: selling with his head up. Bubba Ray also says that Elijah got mad and did not like the message that he was hearing, and that he wants to see something strong selling-wise from Elijah.

Gargano meets with Kali Armstrong and Chantel Monroe. Chantel talks about how comfortable they are with working with each other after training together for the last two-and-a-half years. Armstrong says that heel vs. heel is challenging as it does not follow the usual match structure, and also talks about training with Jazz as well as the comparisons with Jazz that she gets. Gargano proposes that the two of them go at and have the fans choose who they want to cheer for.

Kali Armstrong beats Chantel Monroe. After the match, Gargano is pleased with the match; Chantel says the match went great. Gargano says he loves the effort that they put into movements, especially with strikes. Coach Matt Bloom compliments Chantel's selling of the Kali Connection and says that both of them had a good match.

Owens meets with Romeo Moreno and Trill London. Romeo likes his new name, saying Romeo is a "poetic" name; Trill London says that Romeo is electric and that he looks forward to working with him after being medically cleared to compete again. Owens wants everything to look like a struggle to get the audience to appreciate the match, and wants Moreno to pull some of his movement back; he also tells them to be safe above all.

Trill London beats Romeo Moreno. After the match, Owens says the beginning looked like they were getting the wrestling out of the way to do the exciting stuff. He also mentions that Trill London was selling the knee at first but that it seemed like he forgot to do it; Trill mentioned that he had to make sure that he hit time. Owens also mentions that their movements are impressive and did not look too easy. Owens mentions that he sees his younger self in both men and that both men love what they do and seemed receptive to feedback. Coach Matt Bloom mentions that both men have chemistry, but wants them to clean everything up and tells Trill work on selling and making his strikes more aggressive; nevertheless, he says that they had a solid match.

Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Apollo Crews, Harley Riggins, Kam Hendrix and Elijah Holyfield. Elijah says that he will take the heat today, and Bubba Ray tells him to work on selling with his head up and on making eye contact with Apollo Crews during the match when he does, as it will be critical for telling the story. Bubba Ray makes sure that there is no wasted movement in the match, and has set it up so that it is impossible for all four men to fail.

Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield beat Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins. During the ring entrances, Bubba Ray Dudley wants Riggins to stop doing the goofy crawl and wants Kam Hendrix to stop posing and "be a badass." After the match, all four men note that the crowd was with them. Bubba Ray is happy with the match. Kam Hendrix says that they showed up and showed out, and Apollo Crews says that they killed it and that they can move forward.

Elijah Holyfield meets with Apollo Crews and Shawn Michaels. Shawn says an opportunity has arisen to get into the game and show who he is all about in AAA. He says that he will meet up with The Undertaker and that the possibilities will be endless. Apollo says that he has had a great time in AAA and that branching out of the Performance Center will do a lot for Elijah. Elijah says LFG threw him into the fire so fast from his first promo in front of legends to his first match.
