He then says that they do not realize that he will be the one to take them to the promised land, but unfortunately, he has to start his quest for change in "this rathole known as Baltimore, Maryland," and that he is from "a winning city" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats Jake Painter. After initially getting caught by the referee for using the ropes for leverage, Johnson gets the win by grabbing the tights after reversing a roll-up.

Before the next match, Brian Johnson says that the locker room talks about going to war for TNA and being the heart and soul of the company, yet when he came screaming through TNA, it became time for TNA to change into his image. He proceeds to call Rhode Island "a craphole" and says that Rhode Island would break off and become a lost island in the Atlantic ocean and that he would club anybody who swims to store "like a bunch of fat baby seals" if he had his way, then puts over Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Home Town Man then shows up with Chip the Seal, the mascot of Rhode Island FC.
The Home Town Man beats Brian Johnson with The Home Town Slice after Brian Johnson puts his hands on Chip the Seal only for Chip to hit him with a fish.

Gia Miller interviews Jake Something for Around the Ring. Jake Something mentions that he had surgery on his torn bicep on February 11th, and that he tore it one or two days after his match with Joe Hendry for the TNA World Championship. He says that in his time off, he kept training, but he could not train his left arm until it could work. He also started on his garden at home, which features beans and zucchini, during his time off despite starting on it late.

Before the next match, "The Mecca" Brian Johnson introduces himself, and demands everyone call him "The Mecca," because for far too long, as he has gone screaming through the wrestling world without a destination in sight. He says that since he has parked at the station known as TNA, he is not here to make an impact, but to piss out the flames of the biggest rising star today in Leon Slater. Johnson calls Slater "the human embodiment of a flash in the pan" and that it is "about damn time" TNA lets "The Mecca" cook. He then says he will slice and dice Slater and step over him before declaring he is from "the greatest damn city on the planet, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania."
Sportswriter Mark Madden, best known for his time in World Championship Wrestling, guests on commentary this week.
Leon Slater beats "The Mecca" Brian Johnson. After the match, Slater is hit with a Spear by Moose.
Dalton Castle tells the fans that he has a treat for them after a very long year later in the show.
"The Technical Beast" Josh Woods opens gifts and draws his random partners for this year's Holiday 12-Man Tag Match. Woods likes his chances of winning in this week's main event, saying that his picks are all winners.
Brian Johnson says Ring of Honor has given him nothing but a headache and refuses to think highly of this week's Holiday 12-Man Tag Match before opens gifts and draws his random partners for the match. Johnson does not like any of the partners that he has gotten, but he says the world will find out it is Mecca vs. Everybody.

Rok-C retains the ROH Women's World Championship against Holidead.
Dalton Castle says it has been his mission to give the fans what they deserve, and later on, he has a big surprise.
Dalton Castle presents his Classy Christmas Spectacular, where he, his boys and Dak Draper take part in a song and dance routine until one of the boys mess it up. Dak Draper takes it out on the boy at Dalton Castle's behest, saying that he wants this to be so fantastic that when it is not fantastic, he becomes furious. Draper then starts breaking things as the boys cower, then Dalton Castle blames the boys for ruining Christmas.
Before the next match, Brian Johnson says most of the fans are used to "eight crazy nights" or "twelve days of Christmas," but now they are about to see "eleven bozos and one Mecca."

"The Technical Beast" Josh Woods, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young, Matt Taven, Bandido and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) beat Brian Johnson, Rhett Titus, Kenny King, Rey Horus, Homicide and Flip Gordon in a Holiday 12-Man Tag Match. During the match, Flip Gordon invites everyone on commentary to a holiday party before wishing them a happy 2019. After the match, everyone in the ring celebrates.
Before the next match, Brian Johnson says that when John Walters returned to ROH, he said disrespectful things about Walters, and after tonight, he will say even more disrespectful things about him, as John Walters represents the problem with ROH being stuck in the past and not talking about "The Mecca" enough. Brian Johnson then says that he will rewrite history.
"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats John Watlers in a Pure Rules match via pinfall after John Walters inadvertently falls face-first into the knee that Walters himself exposed earlier in the match after Brian Johnson hits him in the eye behind the referee's back before kicking him in the legs to knock him down.

Mandy Leon beats Allysin Kay and Trish Adora in a three-way match despite attempted interference near the end.

Dalton Castle beats Dragon Lee to become the ROH World Television Champion! During the match, Kenny King and La Bestia del Ring, but Shane Taylor Enterprises (Shane Taylor, Moses, Kaun, O'Shea Edwards) heads them off at the pass. This distracts the referee and causes another one to show up to break up the brawl. This allows Dak Draper to shoves Dragon Lee into Dalton Castle and a second Bang-A-Rang for the win and the title.
Before the next match, "The Mecca" Brian Johnson says he has told everyone who would listen that he is an equal opportunity ass-whupper, and that he is now going up against his own mentor, "The Darewolf" PJ Black. He says the only belt he is concerned about is the ROH Pure Championship, and that tonight, he will show everyone how to spell "Pure": M-E-C-C-A.
"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats "The Darewolf" PJ Black in a Pure Rules Match. After the match, PJ Black says that while Brian Johnson cheated to win, he is capable of great things. He then tells Brian Johnson that he is here if he needs him, then both men shake hands.
Backstage, Brian Zane interviews "The Mecca" Brian Johnson. "The Darewolf" PJ Black shows up and says it sucks to lose, yet he is proud of PJ Black for applying everything he taught him and tthat he owes him a black belt ceremony. Johnson says that PJ Black is a well-traveled man and that he knows how to spell "Pure": M-E-C-C-A.
We see a vignette for ROH's women's division.
We hear from Eli Isom, who says that he and Ryan Nova were equals along with World Famous CB in the Shinobi Shadow Squad and that while Ryan will to show his power, passion and desire, he will not win, because he is set on his goal of being ROH World Television Champion and that Ryan will not get in his way. We then hear from Ryan Nova, who says that there is no hard feelings between him and Eli Isom and that it is all about who is the best. He says a lot of people think Eli Isom is better than him, but he has yet to prove it, and that when it comes to Ryan Nova - who is now known as Ryan Mooney - nobody is better than him.
We look back on The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) vs. VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Tony Deppen, Homicide, Chris Dickinson) from Night Two of Glory By Honor.

"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats Eric Martin, World Famous CB, Delirious, Joe Keys and LSG in a Pure Rules Gauntlet Match. Johnson beats LSG after hitting him in the face with a closed fist before using the ropes for leverage. Due to LSG having no rope breaks, referee Joe Mandak cannot break up the pinfall attempt, and Johnson wins.

Mike Bennett beats Rhett Titus in a Pure Rules Match by judge's decision.
Matt Taven beats Dutch by disqualification. During the match, Vita Von Starr sneaks up on Taven from behind and puts him in a sleeper hold, but Maria Kanellis shows up and ejects her from ringside. Later on, Vincent shows up wearing one of Taven's suits, and when Taven goes after him, he is attacked by Vita Von Starr and Bateman. After the match, Mike Bennett runs in and fights Bateman, and it takes security showing up to stop the brawl.
After the commercial break, Vincent says that Matt Taven will not get the adulation of the fans in the empy arena, then says he knows Taven more than Mike Bennett does. He says that if Taven keeps sacrificing himself, he will have nothing left to show and nobody will care about him, and says that they both know that this is the most important thing to him.
We hear from Jay Briscoe, who says that he will whup Mark Briscoe's ass and knock him out in their Fight on the Farm next week.
Before the next match, Brian Johnson says that if there was a crowd right now, they would tell him that everyone else in the next match would be better than him, then says that this match will be the start of a mecca of excellence before introducing himself to the ring.
Bandido beats Demonic Flamita, Brian Johnson, Rhett Titus, Chris Dickinson and Eli Isom to win the 2021 Survival of the Fittest Tournament and face Rush for the ROH World Championship at Best In The World. After Demonic Flamita is eliminated, he attackes Bandido and powerbombs him through the timekeeper's table before placing a chair on top of him and striking the chair with another chair. Rey Horus has to step in to get Flamita to stop, and security has to show up to escort him to the back while Rey Horus and a crew member check on Bandido. Bandido is able to get back into the match later on. Rhett Titus is eliminated via a knee bar by Chris Dickinson.
Ian Riccaboni replaces Quinn McKay as the host of today's show, as Quinn McKay will be facing Angelina Love on this week's show.
"The Mercenary" Flip Gordon and EC3 beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe). During the match, Flip Gordon introduces a chair into the match, and the referee removes it from the ring. As this goes on, Flip Gordon hits Mark Briscoe from the outside with Jay Briscoe's chain, allowing EC3 to get the win with the One Percenter. After the match, Jay Briscoe is livid.
We hear from Brian Johnson, who says that the world today is as divided is at is ever been and that people are judged by where their loyalty lies. As he mentions all of the factions in ROH, he says that he stands alone with a gas tank big enough to set the company on fire, and while the wrestling world continues to be divided, there is no one more inclusive than him for he is an equal opportunity ass-whipper and he will prove it. He says that he has set up an open challenge, and while he is a dragon's breath away from a television title match, nobody talks about him. Brian Johnson then mentions more members of the ROH locker room and says that his name should be among ROH legends as he puts the entire locker room on notice.
Before the next match, Danhausen shows up and states that he is bringing a gift after beating Brian Johnson "seven to ten times": PCO. Danhausen then guest on commentary for the next match.
PCO beats Brian Johnson with the Destro Death Grip. During the match, PCO "malfuctions" and attacks the timekeeper and ring announcer Bobby Cruise before chasing the referee and crashing through a barricade. Later on, Brian Johnson kicks out of the PCO-Sault and removes a top turnbuckle as PCO confronts the referee. When PCO gets back in the ring, he runs into it, but kicks out despite Brian Johnson putting his feet on the middle rope for leverage. PCO goes for the Destro Death Grip soon after this, and Brian Johnson taps.

Angelina Love beats Quinn McKay. During the match, Angelina Love lets go of the Koji Clutch just before Quinn McKay can be counted out. Later on, Mandy Leon gets on the apron and tells Quinn she can never be a wrestler. Quinn lets go of the Tangerine Dream and goes after Mandy, allowing Angelina Love to win with the Botox Injection.
In footage from last week, Fred Yehi says he will not dwell on the past and that he is the business of breaking people after winning the first Pure Rules Gauntlet Match.

"The Mecca" Brian Johnson beats Danhausen. During the match, Brian Johnson hurts his leg and Danhausen inadvertently takes out referee Todd Sinclair with Johnson's legs. Johnson tries to put his legs on the ropes for leverage, but gets caught by Sinclair. Sinclair is nearly knocked down again, but Johnson kicks Danhausen in the groin with a mule kick when Danhausen nearly runs Johnson into Sinclair. This allows Johnson to hit The Process for the win. After the match, Johnson says "it's about damn time" that a microphone gets in his hands, that he gets the matches that he deserves and that he ushers in his own decade of excellence, then puts the entire locker room on notice.
We hear from Jonathan Gresham, who says that the fans asked for it and it will happen: he will face Jay Lethal on episode 500 with the ROH Pure Championship on the line. We also hear from Jay Lethal, who calls the match and the episode history in the making, and says that it will be time to figure out who the best wrestler is.
We hear from LSG, who says that he is in the Television title devision because the best have won that match first, and he wants the Television title as a launchpad to success in ROH. He says that his recent matches have launched him to the stratosphere and that Eli Isom is below him. He then mentions his match with Eli Isom at Bound By Honor over a year ago, thinking it would open the doors for both of them, but this match is an opportunity for both of them to ascend to greatness. He says that Eli Isom is capable of greatness but is not on his level, and that he will not let Isom pass him by on the way to the ROH World Television Championship. He says that if anyone wants to make a name for themselves in ROH, they have to go through him, especially if Isom wants a shot at the TV title. We then hear from Eli Isom, who says that his match with LSG is an interesting match-up, as they know each other's games, but this is a new Eli Isom that LSG is seeing, and he is here to win gold. He understands that there is a bit of a competition between him and LSG, and if LSG wants him to go through him first, he will accept that challenge and will not let LSG - or anybody - best him, for the Television Championship is his for the taking. He says that they are both a win away from title contention, and he will get that win when he hits LSG with The Promise.

We hear from Jay Briscoe, who talks about his entire career in ROH and being there since the begininng before mentioning that he will face his brother Mark Briscoe on the 500th episode of Ring of Honor TV. He also says it will be an honor to shake Mark's hand after he beats him.
We hear from Dalton Castle, who thinks Brian Johnson is very rude and pushed him too far when he was not in a good emotional state by throwing a drink in his face and insulting him. He says that Johnson has all the tools to succeed, but his mind is his greatest weakness. He says that with "The Darewolf" PJ Black gone, so is the respect, and that Johnson should be lucky to be in ROH given who is in the roster. Dalton says that he has a lot of anger in him and that Johnson is in the right shape to break. We then hear from Brian Johnson, who is tired of ROH focusing on its past, and admits that while he was in the wrong for throwing a drink in Dalton Castle's face, Dalton was in the wrong for interrupting him. He says that people should be coming to see him, but ROH keeps talking about Dalton Castle while painting him in a bad light. He says that ROH has held on to relics like Dalton Castle for "too damn long," and that Dalton Castle had his chance, won the ROH World Championship, and crumbled under pressure and broke down like an old dog that should be put to sleep. Johnson says honor is not real with him, as nobody has honored him since he has been here, and that he will run through him as he shows the whole world finds out that it is "Mecca vs. Everybody."

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews Dalton Castle, who says he just did what he does in the ring. He says that Brian Johnson had a beating coming, and after getting a win tonight, he is focused and on the right track again . He also says that Brian Johnson has walked away not wanting to mess with him again.
We hear from LSG, who says that nobody expected him to go the distance with Jay Lethal. He says that the rules beat him, not Lethal, and that he could have tapped him out if he had another minute. LSG says he has finally earned his spot and Lethal's respect, and if he has to go through Kenny King to earn more respect and make his legacy, he will do it. He says that while Kenny King is smart, he is smarter, and he is coming with an agility that Kenny King used to have. He says that while he lost to the rules against Jay Lethal, Kenny King will lose to him. We then hear from Kenny King, who says that Shane Taylor was the better man in his last television match and that Taylor has leveled up. He says that he has love and respect for Shane Taylor, then says he has to hold himself accountable for that loss. He admits that LSG is swift and talented, then says that LSG is more of a tag wrestler than a singles wrestler and that nobody is going to help him. Kenny says that he is everything LSG wishes he could be, and that winning matches is what really matters in the new ROH. After telling LSG that this is the worst possible scenario he can be in, and that he will not let LSG "hang with him" like he was able to "hang" with Lethal, he says that while LSG is hungry, he is starving and used to eating good. Their match will be on December 24th on Honor Club and YouTube.
We hear from Rhett Titus, who says that he cannot remember what life was like before Ring of Honor and that his life has revolved around it for the last 15 years. He says while he has not always been the focus of Ring of Honor, Ring of Honor has always been his throughout his ups and downs. He says that The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) will reward him for his hard work in preserving ROH's history, and that he is going to start with his own personal history against Delirious, who he credits with making him a stronger person. He then says that Delirious cannot outwrestle him in a Pure Rules Match, and that he has a strategy against the Cobra Stretch. He then tells Delirious to bring his best, because he will when he closes this chapter once and for all. We then hear from Delirious, who calls Rhett Titus a major part of his career, and while they have gone to war over the years, he has always won. He says that Rhett Titus is undervalued and underappreciated, that he has a family to fight for and has become a big part of ROH history, but so has he. He says that he was there are the beginning of Rhett's career, but Rhett was there at the end of his full-time career, and he wants Rhett to know that he is a master of the craft and that he will always beat him.
Rhett Titus beats Delirious via pinfall in 12:24 in a Pure Rules Match.
We hear from Jonathan Gresham, who says that holding the ROH World Championship meant that you were more and that you had a duty to protect professional wrestling freedom at all costs. He says that Rush has not continued this tradition and is not the champion ROH needs, and says that the ROH Pure Championship should be no different from what the world title was once as it means that he is the best pure professional wrestler in the world and has a duty to the company and the fans. He says that ROH was the alternative and once represented professional wrestling freedom, and if he has anything to say about it, he will make that happen again.
We hear form Dak Draper, who says that he is big, talented and good-looking. He says that his father showed him what it took to become the center of attention, and it got to the point that he became a feared opponent in collegiate wrestling and football. He says that while his last collegiate wrestling match got him a WWE try-out, it was not as fulfulling as he thought it would be. When he was invited to ROH last year to face Dragon Lee in a losing effort, he reached an all-time low while his confidence was at an all-time high. He also feels he should not have been an alternate in the ROH Pure Championship Tournament, as he would have run through it like he did last year's Top Prospect Tournament. He says that people look up to and respect Brian Johnson, who is waiting for the call just like him and when he looks at himself, he says that Ring of Honor should be lucky to have him. We then hear from Brian Johnson, who says that he has loved professional wrestling since day one, and while he does not have a history in other sports, he became "one heck of a professional wrestler." He says that the ROH Dojo saw him outwork everyone else, but when Dak Draper showed up, ROH fell in love with Draper and forgot about him, giving everything he worked and sacrificed for. He says he is sick and tired of failing, and that while tonight's Pure Rules match might be another match for Draper, it is his one opportunity to show it is "Mecca vs. Everybody."
Dak Draper beats Brian Johnson via pinfall in 11:03 in a Pure Rules Match. During the match, Johnson uses his third and final rope break when he tries to use the ropes for leverage during a pinfall attempt only to get caught by referee Joe Mandak.
We hear from Brody King, who talks about growing up in the local music scene and staying away from drugs, becoming straight-edge and partaking in the militant aspect of the movement. He then talks about how he got into professional wrestling later in life and took well to it, then talks about his ROH debut and his success with PCO in tag team wrestling. He says that he is now his own man, and that he is now aiming for a singles championship. He says he will do whatever it takes to get a shot at Rush for the ROH World Championship. He says that like Dalton Castle - who he admits is unpredictable - he is used to wrestling hurt, and says that Dalton Castle showed heart in the ROH Pure Championship Tournament, and that he wants the Dalton Castle who won the World Championship. We also hear from Dalton Castle, who says that he is more dangerous than he is given credit for, and while he did not win the ROH Pure Championship, he says he will look into where he went wrong, and while Brody King is not impossible, he has to plan it correctly. Dalton says he has never been more focused in his life, and that he will not let anyone succeed at his expense, as he feels something changing inside of him. He says that emotion can work in his favor as well as it works against it, and that he will prove just how dangerous he really is when he faces Brody King.
Brody King beats Dalton Castle via pinfall in 14:45.

Before the next match, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young realizes it has been two years since Josh "The Goods" Woods has debuted in Ring of Honor and that he has done nothing. He says it does not have to be that way, and that Woods should be getting the respect of his peers, but he is not respected like he is. He asks Goods if he wants to come out to golf claps his entire career, or if he wants to be great and earn respect, for a guy like him is more than a little wet behind the ears in the business and he has a lot more learning to do before earning respect. As the referee returns the microphone, Silas kicks Woods in the groin before winning with an inside cradle. "The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats Josh "The Goods" Woods.
Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger, Ryan Nova, Eli Isom) beats Joe Keys, "Number One" Brian Johnson and Cante Caballero. After the match, Keys and Caballero argue, and Caballero slaps Keys in the face. Security and referees rush in before things can get worse.

Karissa Rivera beats Sumie Sakai after sitting down on a Sunset Flip pinfall attempt. After the match, Sumie Sakai stops a post-match interview to shake Karissa's hand and raise her hand in victory.
Backstage, security hold Josh "The Goods" Woods back as "The Last Real Man" Silas Young tells Woods that he needs to learn respect and that he needs someone like him to teach him how to be great.

The Kingdom (TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) beat The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) after Marseglia breaks up Closing Time. After the match, O'Ryan calls The Bouncers an elite tag team, then say they are "a big fat loser" just like everyone in the crowd pouring their post-match beer out on the floor. The Bouncers beat them up in response.
We hear from Matt Taven, who says that he will never rest and that he is not satisfied, and that his bark is as loud as his bite when it comes to "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams.
We hear from "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, who does not take his World title shot lightly. He hopes that Matt Taven has enjoyed his time as ROH World Champion, for he can out-wrestle him one-on-one and take the title from him.

Dante Caballero vs. "Number One" Brian Johnson in the 2018 Top Prospect Tournament comes to an end after Jeff Cobb and decimates both men. Afterwards, Jeff Cobb takes the microphone and says the Top Prospect Tournament is over because he is the top prospect.

During the match, Bully Ray pushes Jay Lethal into a pinfall attempt and into referee Todd Sinclair, allowing Bully Ray to hit a low blow on Jonathan Gresham so that Silas Young can hit Gresham with Misery for the win.
