Coach Matt Bloom meets with Kevin Owens, Booker T and Bubba Ray Dudley. Bubba gets Romeo Moreno vs. Harley Riggins. Bloom says Moreno had one of his better matches last week and needs to trend in that direction, while Bloom still wants Riggins to stop being goofy. Booker T gets Dorian Van Dux vs. Kam Hendrix. Booker T and Bloom agree that the clock is ticking on Hendrix, but they also feel that he has potential and that things are coming together with him. Owens gets Tristan Angels and Myka Lockwood vs. Tate Wilder and Kali Armstrong. Coach Bloom wants to see what all four people can do together, feeling that Tristan and Wilder will work together and that Kali and Myka are primed to move up, and that the only problem is the psychology of a mixed tag match.
Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Romeo Moreno and Harley Riggins. He wants no shine in the match and he wants Riggins to take Moreno's head off, and for Moreno to fight from underneath.
Harley Riggins beats Romeo Moreno. During the match, Bubba Ray Dudley and Booker T think there is something to Riggins, and Booker T wishes that he had five of Riggins in Reality of Wrestling. Bubba Ray also mentions that Riggins has the instinct to talk back immediately, but has learned to keep his mouth shut and be "more ear and less mouth" when it comes to coachability. Later on in the match, Harley Riggins' old tag team partner Jax Presley shows up and inadvertently trips Romeo Moreno off the top rope, then leaves. This allows Riggins to get the win. After the match, Presley and Riggins hug, then Presley raises Riggins' hand before the two of them leave. Afterwards, Moreno was happy with the match, and Riggins compliments Moreno on being communicative during the match while also mentioning that he took his time and worked as a serious heel. Bubba Ray says that they did a lot of things better, including bumping, selling, Riggins being hated and Moreno being cheered for. Coach Matt Bloom is happy to see Presley back, then says that he wanted Riggins to light Moreno up a little bit more during the match; other than that, they have nice chemistry, and they had a good match.
Booker T meets with Dorian Van Dux and Kam Hendrix. Booker T notes that Hendrix has a lot of ideas, but he knows when the light bulb goes off. Hendrix feels that this is his last chance. Booker T notes that Van Dux is picking things up quickly and could make waves on the main roster.
Kam Hendrix beats Dorian Van Dux. After the match, Booker T says both men did a good job and that tonight was Hendrix's coming out party as well as Hendrix's best outing. Booker T says that Dorian Van Dux is a good listener and that "the best listeners are the best workers." Coach Matt Bloom wants Dorian Van Dux to work on selling, and tells Kam Hendrix that he is proud of him and that he will be one of the four people heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for WWE World.
Kevin Owens meets with Tristan Angels, Myka Lockwood, Tate Wilder and Kali Armstrong. We find out that the mixed tag match was Tristan's idea, and Tristan says that for one to fight in their underwear, one must be nuts. Owens notes that there needs to be one big moment in the match and provides some minor changes to a match that all four people have managed to put together.
Tate Wilder and Kali Armstrong beat Tristan Angels and Myka Lockwood in a mixed tag match. After the match, Kevin Owens has enjoyed the match, as has Shawn Michaels. Coach Matt Bloom admits he is hesitant about mixed tag matches because of the flow, but all four competitors proved him wrong, and he had fun with the match. Shawn Michaels tells Kali Armstrong that she will be heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for WWE World.
