Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 2, 2024

CM Punk heads to the ring to start tonight's show, and is met by "Main Event" Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on the way there. CM Punk says that he knows where he is going from here after handling his business with Drew McIntyre and taking care of business for Paul Heyman, and that he knows what the future holds. He points upwards and says he is going on the road to WrestleMania, and this time, he has a favor or two he can call upon. As he asks the fans to come on the journey with him, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says he has been thinking a lot and says that he should have knocked Punk out the day that he returned, and that he regrets not doing that for the past year, during which a lot of things got in the way. He says that the last time he saw him, he had pity for him, which he says was his mistake, and after seeing him triumphant with Roman Reigns' Bloodline, it was time to rectify some mistakes. Rollins takes off his jacket as he states that there is nothing in each others' way but air and hatred and that tonight is the night he knocks Punk on his ass. Punk says Rollins talks too much and does not listen enough, then says he has put personal things aside and running races with people he did not know he was running. He says Rollins was champion, but now he has nothing. He says that he knows what is in his future and that Rollins is not in it, and says that while Rollins has thought about him for six month, he has not thought of him at all, then says he has things to do in this business and tells Rollins to stay out of his business. Rollins says Punk talks too much and does not listen enough, then says this is his business before shoving him to the mat. This starts a brawl that Sami Zayn and Jey Uso have to break up. General Manager Adam Pearce arrives with officials just as Rollins goads punk back in the ring. Punk leaves, with Rollins telling Punk and Jey to get out. Sami confronts Rollins for talking to Jey like he just did, and Rollins apologizes for going there, then asks what Sami's excuse is, as Sami is not family with Roman and that they are closer than he is with Roman. Sami reminds Rollins that he did not ask to team with Punk and had to under the circumstances, and that he wanted to team with Rollins, but Rollins turned them down both times because he is "too damn stubborn." Rollins says he did not want "that monster" Roman Reigns to regain his power, but Sami reminds Rollins that he made that monster when he turned on The Shield ten years ago. Rollins says he is not a saint in all of this and that he has atoned for that, then tells Sami to look in the mirror as he did the same thing, even though he did it for the right reasons. He says that Roman has not changed and has not apologized to anyone for his past actions, and that neither has CM Punk. Rollins says that naivety, not stubbornness, is the issue, and that Sami is being "really stupid." Sami says Rollins is really angry and frustrated, and if he wants to blow off steam, he has no problem facing him in a match tonight. Rollins accepts.

We see footage of Damian Priest attacking Finn Balor after Survivor Series only for The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito) to attack Priest.

Backstage, Finn Balor tells Liv Morgan he handled Damian Priest because Dominik Mysterio cannot get the job done, and that if she had listened to him, she would not have lost at WarGames. Liv says she and Raquel will focus on Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) tonight, then hopes Finn knows what he is doing. Finn says that when everyone listens to him, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez) wins.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane). After the match, Liv and Raquel go back on the attack before Rhea Ripley shows up again. Liv runs away so that Raquel can fight Rhea. Liv gets on top of Rhea as she gets carried away, but Rhea sends her into the ring post. Raquel then grabs Rhea and throws her eye-first into the corner of the announce desk, and security has to hold both women back.

Backstage, Finn Balor and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio meet with Gunther. Finn says Gunther owes him a title match, as he helped him keep the title again. Gunther says he owes Finn nothing and that he did not need him, and that he needed to win Survivor Series by himself, for himself. He then says Dominik deserves something for having a win against Damian Priest after noticing that Dominik is looking confident, then says he has leverage around here as World Champion and that he will have a chat with General Manager Adam Pearce.

Dakota Kai beats Katana Chance and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler to advance in the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

We see a video package of the ten-year history of The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods).

Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio plug the Cyber Monday sales at WWE Shop.

General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring, with the ring decorated for The New Day's (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) tenth anniversary celebration. Pearce introduces Kofi and Woods to the ring. Woods says that reaching the ten-year mark is more than he and Kofi could ever have hoped for, and thanks the fans for making this possible. Kofi admits he never would have thought they would have achieved all of their accolades, and says it would not have been possible without each other as well as the fans, whom he thanks. Woods then says that what they are about to tell the fans is not their fault, as they have nothing but love but each and every one of them. Kofi says they have talked in light of what happened last week, then Big E shows up and heads to the ring. Big E thanks the fans, then says he wishes he was here under different circumstances, as he has seen the two of them argue and bicker and say some of the most hurtful things people can say to each other hurts him deeply. He says that when they started this ten years ago, they only had themselves, with Kofi mulling retirement and he and Woods close to getting fired, and at the worst moment of his life, Kofi and Woods were at his bedside. Big E talks about how he held Kofi's daughter in his arms and how he was the first to greet Woods after he became King of the Ring, then says that what they have built means so much. He then states that until he is medically cleared to return to the ring, he will remind the two of them who they are and will be here every single to serve as their managers.Woods questions Big E wanting to come back now, saying that Big E left them, and Kofi agrees with Big E. Kofi says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and Edge had broken necks and came back, and Woods said they had to evolve in spite of all this. Big E says he has been seeing doctors, but Woods says he came back from tearing his Achilles tendon in nine months for him. Kofi says that if Big E cared for them, he would have chosen them for a new life. Woods then says that Big E has become a burden. He says that they miss Big E, but Big E does not miss them. Kofi says that Big E chose himself over them, and Woods says that Big E will never be medically cleared before telling him to get out of the ring and get back to his desk where he belongs. Woods also tells Big E "We'll call you if we need you." Big E says he will not let them throw ten years away like this, but Kofi stops him. Woods looks away from Big E in disgust before Big E leaves, then Kofi and Woods look at each other and agree it is just them now.

We hear from Karrion Kross, who is angry that Nikki Cross attacked Scarlett. He says that words will not get him what he wants, and that he wants Wyatt Sicks in the ring next week. He says they started the fire, and he will make sure they burn in it.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker is soon met by Ludwig Kaiser, who says he was seconds away from becoming champion, then says he did what he need to do in ending Sheamus. He then says there is nothing stopping him from bringing the title back to Imperium. Breakker says he would love to face Kaiser and beat him, knowing that he will never hold the Intercontinental Championship. He gives Kaiser credit for getting out of Gunther's shadow, then tells him to get out of it faster, as Gunther's stock is plummeting.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Sami Zayn regarding who attacked "Main Event" Jey Uso, and Pearce asks him "Who do you think did it?" Sami says he knows and that he will beat him in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, Finn Balor meets with General Manager Adam Pearce, wanting to know when he faces Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Pearce tells Finn he will get his wish at Saturday Night's Main Event, then says they will talk about his other title match next week.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats Sami Zayn with an inside cradle after Sami almost attacks Rollins with a metal folding chair, saying he knows Rollins attacked "Main Event" Jey Uso. Rollins says he did not do that, and asks Sami if he asked CM Punk. Sami throws the chair to the outside, then Rollins wins with an inside cradle. After the match, Sami Zayn is hit with a Claymore by a hooded Drew McIntyre.

Rhea states that she pinned the Women's World Champion, and declares that she is coming back for what she never lost. As she calls Liv out, Dominik shows up. Dominik gets booed as he tries to speak, and Rhea tells him to bring Liv out from backstage before she gives him another black eye. Dominik says that Liv is still recovering from what Rhea did to her at Bash At Berlin, and that she and Priest took advantage of them, as they were jet lagged and had no sleep. He then says Liv will accept her challenge, as she has beaten her before and will beat her again. He also says they will both have gold when he wins the Intercontinental Championship Tournament, then Rhea interrupts, saying that if Liv does not want to appear, then he can tell Liv that she will face her any time, any place. All of a sudden, Liv shows up and charges at Rhea, but she gets elbowed. Rhean then goes after Dominik, but Liv traps her left ankle in the bottom and middle rope and attacks her. Damian Priest shows up, and Liv and Dominik flee throw the crowd before freeing Rhea from the ropes. At this point, the damage has been done to Rhea's left ankle.

Lyra Valkyria rushes to the ring to make the save, but she is also overpowered. Sonya Deville says this is a reminder of just how pathetic everyone is, and that there is not a man in the audience who can take them home or a woman in the audience who can take them, period.

Backstage, Rhea Ripley is standing on a crutch as Damian Priest says that Finn Balor will only face him in a tag team match because he is a coward. Rhea says she knows someone, and Priest asks Rhea to tell him what that person says.

Punk then proclaims it is time to become champion, then congratulates Gunther and tells him to enjoy his reign, for he will enjoy the title away from him. He says that the goal is gold and the target is Gunther, then tells Gunther to get used to hearing "Cult of Personality." All of a sudden, as CM Punk celebrates with the fans, he is yanked off the commentary table by Drew McIntyre, who proceeds to attack him on the table as Wade Barrett tries to get McIntyre to stop. McIntyre runs past Barrett to hit Punk with a Claymore that knocks him out of one of his shoes, then throws Punk into the ring to hit him with another Claymore. Wade Barrett says there is something in McIntyre's eyes and that he cannot stop him as officials demand that McIntyre stop. He then takes Punk's bracelet back just to snap it in half and shove the beads into Punk's mouth. McIntyre then hits Punk with another Claymore before General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with a few referees to pull McIntyre off of Punk. Pearce has to call for medical attention. Gunther heads to the ring. Gunther talks about how Bash In Berlin was the highest grossing arena gate for WWE and how he is responsible for it, as well as how he retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton. He says that he made it personal between himself and Randy Orton so he could face the greatest version of Orton and beat him, and says that Saturday was just another chapter for the greatest world champion in history. Sami Zayn shows up and mentions the Intercontinental Championship reign that he just had and how the greatest of the great have held the title and used it as a stepping stone to a world title just like Gunther. He then says that he is also going to do this and that he is coming for the one title that has eluded him his entire career in the World Heavyweight Championship. Gunther agrees and respects Sami's passion, but rejects his challenge and walks away. As Gunther leaves, Sami says he has never seen Gunther back down from a fight and that Gunther is only backing down from him because as great as he has been, he knows full well that he is the only person in WWE to beat him in the middle of the ring. He says Gunther can run and hide for as long as he wants, but he is coming for him and he will become World Heavyweight Champion.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews "Main Event" Jey Uso. As Jey Uso is fired up for tonight's match, Bron Breakker shows up and tells Jey that he will not be the one member of his family to beat a member of his own family, and gives him one chance to walk away and drop out of the tournament to chase "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio's "sloppy seconds," because if he does not and he comes after him and the Intercontinental Championship, he will lose. He says that he is prepared for anyone and anything and that nothing can catch him off-guard, for he is greatness personified. He says that from this day forth, Raw and the legacy of professional wrestling belong to him. Suddenly, Randy Orton shows up, despite being from SmackDown, and heads to the ring. Gunther admits he was caught off-guard, then Orton says that he would congratulate him, but that is not his style. He then says the World Heavyweight Championship looks fine over his "German" shoulders (Gunther is actually Austrian). Orton then says that he is the only reason Gunther is World Heavyweight Champion in the first place, as he beat him at King of the Ring, but alludes to now having only one shoulder down when Gunther beat him. He says that everyone has seen the footage and that even Paul "Triple H" Levesque agrees there should be a rematch, which he is now proposing. Orton says he knows that he is the only one who can match him in the ring, then says the fans need a "modern day Flair vs. Steamboat" and knows that he can fit one of those roles, then asks if Gunther can do the same. Orton mentions Gunther calling himself a living legend and says he has made his living out of killing legends, then says that he will walk out of Gunther's own home country and become champion. Gunther says everything Orton has said is true, but tells him that the voices telling him he can beat him are wrong. Gunther tells Orton that he accepts his challenge, then tells him that nothing will catch him out of nowhere, but Orton tells Gunther he wants him to see the RKO coming.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sheamus. Sheamus says Ludwig Kaiser has somehow returned medically cleared and has demanded a match tonight, then says all the young up-and-comers want a piece of him and that he will fight them all. He plans to fracture Kaiser's ribs before putting Pete Dunne on the shelf, then asks the fans if they are ready for a banger.

Sheamus beats Ludwig Kaiser despite attempted interference by Pete Dunne.

We see a video package chronicling the last eleven years, starting with the main roster debut of The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) leading up to the debut of Wyatt Sicks.

Damian Priest walks with purpose to the ring. He immediately calls out Finn Balor and tells him to take a beating like a man, and asks how Balor went from a prince to a backstabbing scumbag to a coward, especially after he knew about Priest and The Judgment Day gave him a reason to fight. He says that after the premiere of his documentary, he heard what people thought about him and realized that his family got a whole lot bigger, and calls the fans his new family. He says that he can become champion again but he is angry that Finn Balor took the World championship away.He says that he can become champion again but he is angry that Finn Balor took the World championship away. Priest says he cannot let that stand, and says that while Finn is suffering, he is the reason for his pain. Finn appears on the TitanTron saying Priest brought this on himself and that he betrayed The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and that Priest decided to become a leader when he became champion. He also blames Priest for keeping him from becoming champion. Finn mentions Priest telling him to man up after that match and says that he waited until SummerSlam to do it, then says he will not fight him and that someone who has earned it will: JD McDonagh. He then says he will wait until Priest feels safest to stab him again, and that the rest of The Judgment Day (JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio), Carlito and Liv Morgan will. Karrion Kross says the doomsday clock has struck midnight on Raw and that The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) will put an end to The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) tonight, with the real tragedy saying it did not have to be this way for Xavier Woods. He says that Kofi Kingston carved his own path and became "the man" by winning the WWE Championship, while Xavier Woods has not and is "just a man" who will stand next to "the man" despite the opportunities he has given him. Kross says that Woods has chosen to stand with Kofi and that they will both share the same fate when The Authors of Pain end The New Day.

Backstage, Ivy Nile is talking with The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) when Maxxine Dupri shows up. Maxxine asks Ivy where she has been and what is going on. CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk gives a shout out to Belal Muhammad for winning the UFC Welterweight Championship, and while losing does not make him happy, he knows that the fans love him when he gets knocked down and gets back up while others hate him and want to see him knocked down. Punk says that he is proud of himself for being given nine months on the shelf and coming back in five to face Drew McIntyre, who gloated about hurting him and wanted to ruin his life and tell lies about him to feel better about himself. He then says he is happy because he is back and that his road has begun again, and while his summer did not start the way he predicted it, it is still summer and the fans deserves "less CM Punk talking and more CM Punk fighting." Punk says he wants McIntyre because he promised to put him in the ground, yet he is still here with air in his lungs, when Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up. Rollins notes that Punk is in a good and says that he also is, then says that after ten long years, it is time to put Punk in the dirt. Punk tells Rollins he is more than willing to fight him when McIntyre appears in the crowd. McIntyre says tonight is a night of celebration and that everyone is talking about how he beat Punk, then admits that Punk shocked both him and the world by bringing the fight and proving he still had it. McIntyre then says that he, not Punk, is now the best in the world, then tries to get their attention with Punk's bracelet. Punk rolls out of the ring, jumps the barricade and runs after McIntyre. All of a sudden, Rollins is attacked from out of nowhere by "Big" Bronson Reed, but Rollins fights back. Bronson hits Rollins with a Death Valley Driver and a few sentons before hitting him with the Tsunami twice. Medical personnel check on Rollins while officials demand that Bronson head to the back, but Bronson makes his way back to the top rope for a third Tsunami. Bronson then hits a fourth Tsunami, then a fifth, then a sixth. Rollins is bleeding internally by the time Bronson is out of the ring. Bronson then goes back to the top rope again for a seventh Tsunami, but Rollins is rolled out of the ring before he can hit it. Bronson sits at the top rope, arms crossed, then leaves.

Kross fights Odyssey again, but Odyssey hits him with a spinning side slam. Kofi and Woods celebrate with Odyssey.

We hear from JD McDonagh, who says that Damian Priest finding out that Finn Balor betrayed him made him laugh. He says that Priest was only champion for as long as The Judgment Day allowed, that he sacrificed himself for him, and that Priest never wanted him in the group until Finn Balor convinced him because he trusted Finn's word more than anything. He then says that he is now in The Judgment Day and that he is a champion while Priest has nothing.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston thanks Odyssey Jones, who says he is honored to help out The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). Kofi introduces Xavier Woods to Odyssey, and Woods is surprised that Kofi and Odyssey are friends. Odyssey says Kofi asked for his help with The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering), then Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) shows up and Akira Tozawa dances.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory (now officially announced as "A-Town Down Under") beat The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) after R-Truth gets the hot tag - unbeknownst to The Miz - and accidentally knocks The Miz out of the ring hitting Grayson with the Attitude Adjustment only for Theory to hit R-Truth with the A-Town Down.

We hear from Damian Priest, who says the beating that he wants to give JD McDonagh is a long time coming, as only Finn Balor wanted him in The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and McDonagh is about to catch the first bullet because Finn Balor sent him to take it. He says he has enough in the chamber for Finn, too, and hopes that McDonagh went to confession as he is sending McDonagh straight to Hell.

Breakker then says there is no man who will take his name off of his title.

Damian Priest beats JD McDonagh by disqualification after Priest is attacked from behind by Finn Balor. After the match, Finn, Carlito and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio gang up on Priest alongside McDonagh while Liv MOrgan watches, but Priest starts fighting back. Finn finds himself face-to-face with Priest and runs, but Priest grabs him for the Razor's Edge. Liv distracts Priest to allow Dominik to hit Priest with a chop block, then Rhea Ripley shows up and chases Liv and Dominik out of the ring. Rhea is able to grab Liv and beat her up, then goes for a powerbomb through the announce table. Dominik is able to save Liv at the last moment before JD McDonagh attacks Priest again. Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 15, 2024

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rhea says it has been three months since she has been in the ring, and it is due to Liv Morgan. She says that Liv has been running around with something that is hers - not "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, who she will deal with later - but the Women's World Championship. Rhea says Liv pissed her off when she thought that she took her out, then calls her out so she can rip her apart. Instead of Liv, she gets Dominik Mysterio. Rhea turns her back on Dominik as Dominik tries to speak to her, then Liv Morgan appears on the TitanTron and apologizes for her voice, as she has been in Mexico and she is quite the screamer. Liv tells Rhea that she meant it when she said she would take everything from her, including Dominik, and while she did not see what Rhea saw in Dominik at first, but then she had a real relationship with him and had Dominik all to herself. She then says that while Rhea Ripley is back, she is the one on top. Dominik says it is not what it looks like, but Rhea is focused more on Liv, saying she knew Liv was too scared to get in the ring with her because she would end her revenge tour. Rhea then says that she has waited three months and can wait a little while longer, and challenges Liv for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam. Liv says that she will not run, then warns Rhea that she is not the same person she faced before, and says that she will beat her just like she helped Dominik beat Rey Mysterio as she accepts Rhea's challenge. She then hopes Dominik will be there, then vanishes. Rhea tells Liv that at SummerSlam, she will not only end her revenge tour and her title reign, she will end her career.

Backstage, Rhea Ripley is not taking anything from "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. She suddenly finds a vase of black roses in her dressing rooms, and when Dominik says she is trying to make it up to her, Rhea slams the door in his face. Dominik turns around and sees Damian Priest, then Rhea Ripley opens the door and throws the vase of roses at Dominik.

Sheamus beats "Big" Bronson Reed. After the match, Bronson Reed tries to attack Sheamus, but he is suddenly stopped by Pete Dunne, who then walks away, much to Sheamus' confusion. When Sheamus turns around, Pete Dunne gets back in the ring and attacks him. Bronson Reed then gets back in the ring and hits Sheamus with the Tsunami.

Backstage, Damian Priest welcomes Rhea Ripley back. Rhea asks Damian if he needs help with Braun Strowman, but Priest says he is all right. As Rhea asks about Carlito, Dominik shows up, and it becomes known that Dominik barely contacted Rhea Ripley at all.

Backstage, Sami Zayn is met by Ilja Dragunov. He says that he appreciates the championship opportunity, but Sami says he is getting the match because he asked for the match and that he has been watching him for a while, and says that Dragunov is "better than good." Sami says that Dragunov fights like his life depends on it and that he is the kind of person he wants to defend the Intercontinental Championship against, then warns him to bring his absolute best. Dragunov tells Sami to do the same.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Jackie Redmond interviews Zelina Vega. Zelina says she has no love for Liv Morgan or Rhea Ripley, and that when they are done, she will be at the front of the line, saying she would be champion if it were not for "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Sonya Deville, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark show up, saying the line goes through them, but Zelina says nothing is standing in the way of her and the Women's World Champion, and if Sonya wants a match, they can go at it tonight.

Sonya Deville quickly beats Zelina Vega after "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler attacks Zelina's arm behind the referee's back. After the match, Sonya, Shayna and Zoey Stark attack Zelina, but leave when Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance run to the ring.

Backstage, Damian Priest is met by "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Suddenly, "Main Event" Jey Uso wants to know if Rhea Ripley is single, which irritates Dominik. Damian tells Dominik that he beat prison, and that he should show Jey Uso who Rhea really belongs to.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is meeting with some referees when Chad Gable shows up and says Uncle Howdy is none other than Bo Dallas, and wants to know why he is here and what Pearce is doing about him. Pearce says Bo Dallas is here tonight, and Gable says that he is going to call Bo Dallas out tonight.

Damian Priest heads to the ring. Priest says that despite having a match with Braun Strowman next, he wants his face-to-face meeting right now and calls out Gunther. Gunther heads to the ring. After mentioning that Priest is still showing confidence and living his childhood dream of being World Heavyweight Champion, he tells Priest that he has paid close attention to him and that he is not living up to that dream. Gunther says Priest's reign has no prestige or contributions, but that is okay, as they are both not cut from the same cloth. He then says he is here in good spirits and wants to lift the weight off Priest's shoulders, and asks Priest to hand him the title. Priest says he wishes it was SummerSlam right now so he could knock the smirk off his face, then says that he fought for his life on the street for 20 years to get to WWE while Gunther has handed everything in Europe. He then says that if Gunther is only here for a paycheck, then he is not needed here, as he himself has earned the World Heavyweight Championship. He also says Gunther will be the last person to take the title from him. Gunther says being on the streets is a choice and blames Priest's parents for not giving him everything, while his own parents gave him everything and WWE was calling him. He also says that people like him keep people like Priest from becoming champion. Gunther says it will also be his responsibility to restore the honor and prestige of professional wrestling as well as the World Heavyweight Championship, then says the fans are just like Priest, as they will always be "street trash." Priest says that for someone with clarity, Gunther cannot see why what is coming at him or why he lost the Intercontinental Championship, and that Gunther has no heart or the knowledge of what it is like to fight for everything. He then says that he will stay champion while Gunther will have to fight from the bottom, as he will have nothing, and that they will see if Gunther is more than a "boring, conceited, privileged scumbag." Things are about to get physical between Priest and Gunther when Braun Strowman shows up for the next match.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce gives "Main Event" Jey Uso his match with Dominik Mysterio, then Bron Breakker shows up irritated that Ilja Dragunov has a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Breakker says he does not care about respect and that he will destroy both Dragunov and Sami Zayn. Pearce calls for security, but Bron Breakker says he knows the way out. Pearce tells security to make sure Breakker leaves the building.

Damian Priest beats Braun Strowman after Strowman hurts his left knee during the match. After the match, Gunther shows up and chops Priest. That leads to a brawl, and Gunther soon retreats when Priest gets the upper hand.

Backstage, Maxxine Dupri tells Akira Tozawa and Otis that they should help someone out. Gable shows up and tells them that he will call out Bo Dallas, but Maxxine Dupri says they were talking about Xavier Woods, who they are helping against The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar). Gable takes offense to this, even as Otis says they are serious about this.

"The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark beat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter even after Lyra Valkyria knocks Sonya Deville off the ring apron.

We see footage of The Miz at the American Century Championship from the past weekend.

Backstage, when Finn Balor mentions the World Tag Team Championships, Rhea Ripley says Liv Morgan played her games, but they did not work. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and mentions his match with Jey Uso, saying that he is going to prove that Rhea belongs to him. Rhea walks away.

General Manager Adam Pearce introduces Drew McIntyre to the ring. Pearce says that Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk can be special and that everyone, including himself and CM Punk, wants the match, then wants to know how much McIntyre wants it. McIntyre says he wants it more than anything in the world, then Pearce says that that a lot of negativity needs to be left behind and that if McIntyre can do that, he is ready to business. McIntyre takes responsibility for his actions and that the only opinion that matters is that of the fans, then asks the fans if they want the match, to which they agree. McIntyre tells Pearce to make it official, but Pearce wants McIntyre to do something for him: apologize to the referees that he roughed up at the Money In The Bank post-show. McIntyre is hesitant, but Pearce wants McIntyre to own his actions, especially when the two referees got hurt, and that this is all he is asking McIntyre to do. The crowd chants "Say you're sorry!" before McIntyre says "No." McIntyre says the referees have done nothing but screw him and that it has all happened under Pearce's watch, and that Pearce deserved that elbow and should be apologizing to him. He also makes it clear that he wants CM Punk's head on a pike. Pearce responds by maintaining McIntyre's suspension, and McIntyre responds by shoving both referees and confronting Pearce. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring and fights McIntyre, and McIntyre flees as Rollins goes for The Stomp. Security shows up to escort McIntyre from the arena, and McIntyre walks away.

We see footage from earlier today on The Pat McAfee Show where Pat McAfee gets another package, which contains another VHS cassette. We then see the contents of that cassette. In it, we see Erick Rowan, who admits that the last few years have been very hard. He says he used to have a family and that they were unstoppable and inseparable, but one day, the whole world changed. Erick says that he lost a brother who believed in him more than anyone else, and in those situations, one gets up, wipes the dust off and keeps moving. He then says that just when he had everything going, another brother was gone, and he no longer had a family. He says he fell down a well and did not even want to get out, as he was numb to the world and nobody would miss him. He is handed a white sheep mask as he is asked how it makes him feel, and that the mask gives him hope, for when he was at his lowest, Bray Wyatt pulled him out and he accepted, as he knew he needed help. He says that he had a purpose in life to help those like himself and that the white sheep mask reminds him of that beacon of hope, and that he will "take those broken hearts and make a beautiful world."

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. During the match, Liv Morgan pulls Dominik out of the way of an Uso Splash, and when Jey baseball slide kicks Dominik in the back of the head, Dom falls on top of Liv. Liv takes advantage of the situation before Rhea Ripley runs out and chases Liv into the crowd. When Dominik apologizes to Rhea, Rhea tells Dominik to get back into the rng and finish the match. Dominik is soon hit with a Spear by Jey Uso followed by an Uso Splash.

We see a video package for Ilja Dragunov.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is met by Damian Priest, who mentions Dominik's rough loss before seeing Rhea Ripley and leaving. Rhea says she does not belong to anyone and that she is not his; instead, Dominik is hers. She then hands Dominik a black rose.

Chad Gable heads to the ring to call out Bo Dallas. After the commercial break, Chad Gable announces that Uncle Howdy is none other than Bo Dallas, then calls Bo out so they can "solve their little problem." Bo Dallas then heads to the ring, but he is attacked from behind by The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed). Gable then raises The Creed Brothers' hands, and Bo Dallas is laughing as he lays in the ring just like when he was being attacked. Gable and The Creeds gang up on Bo Dallas again, and Bo Dallas is still laughing. Bo Dallas still laughs as he laughs in the corner and says "Yeah, yeah, yeah," and Gable wants to know what he is laughing about. Bo says "There you are," then the lights go out in the usual Bray Wyatt fashion. The crowd chants "You fucked up!" before fog floods the ring, then The Wyatt Sicks shows up. "Abbie" raises the lantern as they approach the ring, and Gable leaves the ring, leaving The Creeds alone until they too leave. Bo Dallas gets back up and gets on his knees in the middle of the ring, and The Wyatt Sicks surround him before Bo laughs and outstretches his arms.

Ilja Dragunov vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship ends with Bron Breakker suddenly showing up and hitting Dragunov with a Spear on the outside after Sami dodges. After the match, Sami Zaynand Bron Breakker brawl in the ring, and Breakker gets the upper hand before hitting Sami with a Spear. Sami Zayn retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 24, 2024

The Miz replaces Pat McAfee on commentary this week.

Drew McIntyre suddenly heads to the ring to start tonight's show. McIntyre brags about what he did to CM Punk on last week's SmackDown and even asks for a replay. McIntyre says he prayed for this and that "the big man made it happen...me." He then proclaims he is done with the "CM Punk" chanters, as they are chanting in his memory after everything Punk had done to him. He then proclaims that the "CM Punk" chanters are dead to him and do not exist before addressing Punk, hoping that he is uncomfortable, in pain and being fed through a straw after what he did to him. McIntyre claims that he not only took his dignity, but also a friendship bracelet with his dog Larry's name as well as AJ Lee's name, and mocks the bracelet as well as its meaning, saying Punk is now alone and in pain because of him. McIntyre then declares for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, hoping Punk watches alone, in pain and in misery. He then says that he was once alone, but no longer, as he wears the bracelet, as he has Punk's family in his corner now and he will win and cash in to become World Heavyweight Champion in spite of Punk.

Chad Gable is surrounded by security as he heads into the arena, and he does not want a camera pointed at him.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley reports that Chad Gable's dressing room is secured both inside and outside, and that others find it shocking that Gable is even here tonight after the end-of-show attack from last week.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser says Bron Breakker may be strong, explosive and fast, but he will prove that he is destined for greatness and that Bron Breakker "is no Ludwig Kaiser."

Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser ends with Kaiser being smacked out of nowhere by Sheamus on the outside. After the match, Sheamus goes for a powerbomb through the announce table, but he gets hit with a Spear by Bron Breakker.

Backstage at The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, everyone is playing WWE 2K24 on a PlayStation 5. Dominik Mysterio mentions that it is all a gift from Liv Morgan, then Dominik shows Priest something on his phone which proves that Liv Morgan has his phone number (and is implied to be Liv's nudes). Priest tells Dominik that he has to find a way to end things with Liv Morgan tonight. Dominik leaves, then Priest mentions that they still have a Braun Strowman problem and also leaves. Finn Balor tells Carlito and JD McDonagh that they have to take care of Strowman tonight.

Backstage, Bron Breakker forcefully meets with General Manager Adam Pearce and mentions that he is sick of other people getting involved in his match, and mentions that he also wants a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Suddenly, Sami Zayn shows up, wanting the time and place. Breakker picks Money In The Bank, and Sami tells Pearce to tell Breakker that he has his match. Breakker tells Sami he will destroy him, then walks off.

Lyra Valkyria beats Kairi Sane and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after Lyra rolls out of the Kirifuda Clutch and Kairi hits Baszler with the In-Sane Elbow, which allows Lyra to hit Kairi with Nightwing to qualify.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells Drew McIntyre that he is not deserving of anything after being disruptive on both Raw and SmackDown and that he will have to earn his way to a World title shot, but McIntyre says that Pearce will do the right thing or else he will know the meaning of disruption. As McIntyre leaves, the camera then focuses on Liv Morgan, who heads to the ring.

It is announced that Royal Rumble 2025, SummerSlam 2025 and WrestleMania 42 in 2026 will be at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Tyrese Haliburton is seen in the front row.

Liv Morgan is in the ring. Liv Morgan is in the ring. She calls out "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to get his attention, hoping that she enjoyed the gifts she gave him and the text she sent him even more. She says that Dominik is playing hard to get, but when Dominik is honest with himself and realizes he wants her, she has more in store for him. Liv says that Rhea Ripley never sent Dominik any gifts, then says Dominik can thank her for the gifts so she can give him one more in front of the fans. Zelina Vega shows up and says she has the gift of shutting Liv Morgan up, then says she does not understand why Liv is interested in "Rhea Ripley's sloppy seconds" before proclaiming she is out here for championship gold. Liv says she has not forgotten about the Women's World Championship and that she put Rhea Ripley into early retirement to get it, and that it means more to her than anything. Zelina says Liv is more focused on having fun, and that Liv schemed for championship opportunities while she starved for hers. Zelina then dares Liv to put her title on the line tonight, and Liv says she will do it next week. Zelina says she is not waiting for next week as Liv calls for Dominik, then Dominik shows up. Dominik says he did not like the gifts before Liv asks Dominik if he liked her text as she helps him into the ring. Zelina asks what is going on as she pretends to throw up in her mouth, then says Liv did not have to put her man in her way if she was afraid to fight. Dominik says he is not Liv's man, and tells Zelina that if she is going to fight for the Women's World Championship, then she wants to help. He knows that Zelina and Rhea Ripley have had their differences, but he would rather see anyone but Liv with the Women's World title. As Zelina is clearly not buying this and telling Dominik she does not need his help, Liv attacks Zelina. Rey Mysterio suddenly shows up and pulls Liv off of Zelina. Dominik then shoves Rey, which turns Liv on before Dominik leaves. Liv then follows Dominik to the back.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley is reporting from outside Chad Gable's dressing room. He says that Gable has been medically attended to when General Manager Adam Pearce shows up from inside the dressing room. He says Gable is shaken up, but is medically cleared to compete and focused on tonight's match. As for last week's attack, Pearce says it is not his story to tell and that Gable is not ready to tell it yet.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio wants nothing to do with Liv Morgan, who thanks Dominik for being her hero against "his deadbeat dad" Rey Mysterio. After Dominik leaves, R-Truth shows up and says reluctant heroes like "Tom and Nick Mysterio" are the best kinds of heroes, and Liv gets the idea of helping Dom get a match against Rey next week. She also wants to get a tag team title match for Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, and despite R-Truth not liking JD, R-Truth says he can make it happen. After Liv leaves, R-Truth mentions that he thinks Liv is Carmella. The Miz then has to run backstage from the commentary table to talk sense into R-Truth backstage.

Before the next match, Chad Gable asks the fans if they believe in miracles, then says the news of his demise was greatly exaggerated. Gable states that while he was left for dead by "a bunch of monsters," "Chad Gable cannot be killed," and he has decided in a show of bravery to face two more monsters and become "Master In The Bank."

Chad Gable beats "Big" Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito attack Strowman on the outside to allow Gable to hit Bronson with a top rope moonsault to win and qualify. After the match, the lights start going out little by little, Bray Wyatt stile, with Chad Gable standing in the middle of the ring as fog forms around the mat. "Abbie" shows up from underneath the ring and corners Gable, and Gable is able to slide out of the ring. "Abbie" then crawls out of the ring and places a box in front of Michael Cole at the announce table before leaving through the crowd.

After the break, it is announced that the box handed to Michael Cole earlier is addressed to Pat McAfee, who is not here tonight. Michael Cole opens the box and finds a VHS tape with the words "Play Me" on the side label.

Backstage, Chad Gable meets with Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa), and tells them that his life flashed before his eyes last week and that he has been wrong for the last two months, which he admits have been rough, and apologizes. Gable says families fight, but family sticks together. Otis says anyone who hurts Tozawa or Maxxine is not family, and that they are done. Maxxine tells Gable that he put them through a lot, but he really hurt Otis. She then says that they are all glad that he is okay, and that Otis just needs some time before telling Gable that he will talk to Otis. Afterwards, Chad Gable is met by Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), and Gable tells them that he is not okay and that he needs help.

The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre) beat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. After the match, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane) attacks both teams, then Iyo Sky hits Alba and Isla with Over The Moonsault.

Backstage, Damian Priest finds Liv Morgan leaving the Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, then finds Finn Balor on the Sony PlayStation 5. Finn tells Priest that thanks to Liv, Dominik has a match with Rey Mysterio next week, while he and JD McDonagh have a World Tag Team title shot tonight.

Backstage, The Miz catches up with R-Truth and finds out that the World Tag Team title match is official and that R-Truth says he "did it for love." The Miz says it is more about them and their titles, but R-Truth says he only loves Miz as a friend.

Damian Priest heads to the ring. Priest says he understands why Seth "Freakin'" Rollins sees himself in him, then says he sees a man who he does not want to become in Rollins. He says he does not want to see someone who is his successor, and while Rollins is great, but as long as he remains World Champion, Rollins will never see the mountaintop again. Rollins then shows up and heads to the ring, then says tonight is still his show before addressing Priest's claims that he will never be champion again for as long as Priest himself is champion, saying he does not believe him. Rollins thinks that Priest has "a false bravado" and "does not believe the bullcrap that is coming out of [his] mouth," and says the fans do not buy Priest as World champion because his words do not match with his actions. He says that Priest has stated that he does not need help, but in both of his title defenses, he really needed that help. Priest says he gets where Rollins is coming from, and while he did not ask for help, people got involved. He says he cannot change what happened, but he can stand at the present holding the world title while Rollins represents the past and holds nothing. Rollins says "For now." Rollins then says he is not here to run Priest down, as he has respect for him, then says he does not like being one-upped and that he is here to one-up Priest, as he wants to sweeten the pot at Money In The Bank. Rollins says this is more akin to a "side bet" or "gentlemen's agreement," and says that if Priest can beat him, he will get his wish and he will never challenge for the title again. However, if he were to win, they get to find out once and for all if Priest can stand on his own two feet, and Priest will have no choice but to leave The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh). Rollins says that if this were to happen, we would see if Priest really could walk a mile in his shoes. Priest laughs, and says that to him, The Judgment Day needs him more than he needs them, and as Rollins' agreement goes, he accepts. Priest and Rollins shake hands, then Gunther arrives to the ring and says he fully understands that a lot is on the line, then wishes good luck to both men and says he cannot wait to see their match and hopes the better man wins. He then says that at SummerSlam, the better man will become the lesser man in the ring with him. Gunther then leaves.

We see the contents of the VHS cassette tape. We see Uncle Howdy asks someone if they are happy and if they are lost, and if they feel as though they have been forgotten. He also asks if they remember who they are, then we see Bo Dallas, who says "I am nobody." Uncle Howdy then asks Bo Dallas how he felt when Bray Wyatt died, and Bo says the most important thing in his life was taken away from him. He also says that he felt nothing was ever going to matter again, and Uncle Howdy asks Bo if he thinks that he is exploiting his brother's legacy. Bo says that all he ever wanted in his whole life was to be like his brother, as he looked up to him and wanted to be next to him. He says that they were going to rule together, and they had it, and then it was taken away from him, and nobody feels more hurt or feels what he feels than him. Bo says that he had to be a mausoleum so that everyone would remember what Bray stood for and believed, but everyone wanted to forget about "all of us." He says that they made them all remember, then Uncle Howdy laughs and says "Yes, we did."

Karrion Kross beats Kofi Kingston after the rest of The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) attack Xavier Woods backstage, which distracts Kofi and allows Kross to hit the Final Prayer for the win.

It is announced that Randy Orton, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Jacob Fatu) in a six-man tag match is official for Money In The Bank.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) beat The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) to become the World Tag Team Champions! Liv Morgan shows up during the match to watch from ringside. Later on, Braun Strowman shows up after Carlito puts McDonagh's foot on the bottom rope to save the match to chase Carlito through the crowd. Later on, after R-Truth hits Finn and McDonagh with a double Five Knuckle Shuffle, Liv Morgan distracts R-Truth while McDonagh distracts the referee, then rams R-Truth throat first into the top rope. This allows Finn Balor to hit R-Truth with the Coup de Grace to win the match and the titles. After the match, Liv celebrates with Finn and McDonagh.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 10, 2024

Drew McIntyre heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Drew says he is focused on nothing but right now, then asks who is ready for a new world champion at Clash at the Castle. He says he is ready for Damian Priest, but he knows The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio) will be "scurrying right behind him." It does not take long for Priest, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to show up, and Priest says Drew is still making excuses before telling him that Drew made this personal between them, not him, and that the world title is his, not The Judgment Day's. Priest tells Drew that he is heading into his territory in front of his people and that he will put him down, and as much as he loves The Judgment Day, he does not need them or anybody to be champion, as he is champion because he is Damian Priest. Drew says that is a fine speech, but he does not give a damn what he has to say, as the World Heavyweight Championship is his and The Judgment Day are his only chance of beating him. Priest proposes a match between Finn Balor and Drew, and if Drew can beat him, The Judgment Day is barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle. If Drew loses, however, they will have the honor and privilege of watching him beat Drew in his own home from ringside. Drew says he respects a man who is willing to dig his own grave, then says that he will beat Finn Balor and hopes that Priest will shake his hand after he embarrasses and humiliates him to become World Heavyweight Champion.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio runs into Liv Morgan in the Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik, JD McDonagh) clubhouse. Liv says she wants to see Dominik at the hotel later, but Dominik says he wants nothing to do with her. Liv says a man like Dominik should not be with a woman who wants him to call her "Mami," and should have a girl who is willing to call her "Daddy." She then hands Dominik a hotel room key in case he changes his mind.

We see footage of Damian Priest and Zelina Vega in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City.

Iyo Sky beats Lyra Valkyria when Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane break up the pinfall from the outside when Lyra hits Nightwing and Iyo scores a cruficix pin when Lyra tries to hit the move a second time. Backstage, The Miz runs into Sami Zayn as he looks from R-Truth. Sami says he has not seen him, and The Miz says things that are not good happen when R-Truth is alone before he leaves. Sami then meets Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa, and he apologizes to them for getting them caught up in the middle of his feud with Chad Gable and reminds them that they do not have to take abuse from Gable. All of a sudden, Otis shows up, and Sami tells Otis he will see him in the ring. Otis stops Sami and says he lost it, but Sami says Otis does not have to explain himself. Otis says he had it all at one time, but he soon lost it all, and when he did, Chad Gable was there. He says that Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) is his family, and without Gable, he is nothing. Sami says this is what Gable wants Otis to think, and asks him if he knows how special he is and how special he could be, and hopes that one day, Oti scan see it for himself.

At The Judgment Day clubhouse, (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) Damian Priest shows up with knowledge of Liv Morgan and the hotel room key. Carlito, JD McDonagh and Dominik head to the ring for their match.

We hear from Ludwig Kaiser, who brags about beating Sheamus with "A+ talent and A+ ruthlessness" and destroying Sheamus' knee. He says he will not be taken lightly, as he is designed for greatness and belongs at the top, and anyone who gets in his way will be eliminated. He says "the rise of the Kaiser" has begun, and that he will soon be "Mr. Money In The Bank."

The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) and Braun Strowman beat The Judgment Day (JD McDonagh and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio) and Carlito in a six-man tag match. During the match, Liv Morgan shows up and distracts "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio only to be attacked from behind by Zelina Vega, causing Liv Morgan to land on top of Dominik on the outside. Zelina and Liv then brawl on the outside, and as they are being seperated, Braun Strowman is able to tag in and overpower Carlito, allowing Dragon Lee to hit Carlito with a splash from Strowman's shoulders for the win.

Sami says that he will defeat Chad Gable and put an end to everything once and for all at Clash at the Castle. He says there is no more dealing with an abusive, manipulative psychopath and that it is time to be the Intercontinental Champion. Suddenly, Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) shows up, and Gable says Sami is trying to tear down everything he has built and make himself the sympathetic superhero in someone else's story before stating that Sami is the true villain. He says that Alpha Academy trusts his leadership and methods, and that they will be happy when he beats Sami for the Intercontinental Championship. Sami says Gable is out of his mind for thinking Alpha Academy is happy when they do not even look that way, then asks Alpha Academy if they are truly happy. Sami then says Gable does not care about Alpha Academy, but the fans do, and their lives will not be happy until they leave Gable once and for all. Gable says nobody is leaving anybody, as Alpha Academy is a family and families stick together, no matter what. He says that while they will be with him on Saturday, he will sic his own version of Otis who does not feel bad about anything and is the most ruthless version of Otis right now.

Sami Zayn beats Otis with a surprise Helluva Kick. After the match, Chad Gable attacks Sami Zayn while Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa check on Otis. Gable kicks Maxxine and Tozawa out of the ring, then picks Sami up and demands Otis hit Sami. Otis refuses, and Gable slaps Otis in the face not once, but twice. Sami gets behind Gable, and Otis runs at Gable only to clothesline and slam Sami. Gable celebrates with Otis, who then turns on Gable, who cowers in the corner. Otis raises his fist, but backs out of hitting him and heads to the back at the last second after Gable begs him off.

Bron Breakker beats Ilja Dragunov following three Spears. After the match, Bron Breakker goes after Dragunov again, but he is attacked on the outside by Ricochet, who dives at him from the barricade.

Backstage, the missing hotel key card is produced by Dominik Mysterio in The Judgment Day's (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse. Damian Priest tells Dominik that he needs to put his foot down with Liv Morgan before everyone agrees that they need to get down to Judgment Day business.

McIntyre tells Sheamus to give him a heads-up on the cash-in, and Sheamus says it will be like old times.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering). Karrion Kross says tonight's match is the first step in their ultimate vision and that The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) will bring the world tag titles home. He says that Xavier Woods will soon realize he belongs with them and not Kofi Kingston. Scarlett says that they will never abandon Woods like Kofi did and that Woods cannot trust Kofi.

The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) retain the World Tag Team Championships against The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar). During the match, Karrion Kross trips The Awesome Truth from the outside as Scarlett distracts the referee, then The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) attack Kross. R-Truth tosses the title to Rezar, and Miz pins Rezar with a schoolkid pin to retain.

Backstage, Bron Breakker hits Ilja Dragunov with a Spear as Ricochet helps Dragunov to medical, and this leads to a backstage brawl between Breakker and Ricochet in which Ricochet gets laid out. During the match, Damian Priest shows up, and while "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh try to attack McIntyre, McIntyre is able to see them coming and take them down. Finn Balor nearly wins on a schoolkid pin and tries to get McIntyre in the drop zone for the Coup de Grace, but McIntyre avoids the Coup de Grace and hits the Claymore Kick to win. Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 3, 2024

Liv Morgan heads towards the ring to start tonight's show. She says that revenge is never as sweet as it can be until one can finally be, then says she did what nobody else could do - take out Rhea Ripley - and become Women's World Champion. Liv then brags about putting Becky into early retirement before stating that the cherry on top is kissing "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio at the end of last week's show. Suddenly, Dominik shows up, and the crowd keeps booing him out of the building as he says that he does not know what kind of game Liv is playing and that Rhea is not playing the same game, and when Rhea comes back, she will kill Liv. Liv then says that Rhea will probably kill Dominik, too, then says she will make it all worth it before asking Dominik how long he will keep lying to himself, saying she came down to the ring to be closer to her, not to help Becky. Liv says she meant what she said and that she plans to take everything away from Rhea and that includes Dominik. Suddenly, Finn Balor shows up and says nobody in The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik, JD McDonagh) wants anything to do with her. Liv questions if she wants her to go or if Dominik wants her to go, but Liv leaves for now.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sheamus. Sheamus says he is pumped to get in the ring with Ludwig Kaiser after what happened last week, and says that while Kaiser is Gunther's right-hand man, Gunther may be holding him back. He states that Kaiser will get the chance to go toe-to-toe with him tonight, and that he has been doing this for fifteen years. He asks if his opponent can earn his respect, and says that to do that, you must put out banger after banger. Sheamus heads out to the ring, but he is immediately clipped at the knee with a chop block from behind by Ludwig Kaiser, and officials have to restore order.

Ludwig Kaiser beats Sheamus after targeting Sheamus' injured knee throughout the match and slipping out of an avalanche White Noise before kicking the back of the injured knee.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio tells Finn Balor and JD McDonagh that he did not do anything. Finn tells Dominik that he is playing with fire, then Damian Priest shows up to make sure everything is taken care of - with Dominik saying that he is giving Rhea Ripley some space before agreeing that everything is taken care of - before mentioning that they will be settling some scores and reminding everyone of why they run Raw.

Backstage, Ricochet is met by Ilja Dragunov, who says that he is not here to stop him, as people like them who take it to the limit need to stick together. Ricochet says that if he can walk, he can fight, but Dragunov asks him to be cautious, as people like Bron Breakker are wired differently. Ricochet says they are also wired differently and that Bron Breakker has forgotten, and says that he is okay with finishing what they started after he is done with Bron Breakker. Dragunov wishes Ricochet luck.

We see a vignette for Dragon Lee before the next match.

After Braun cleans house while Rey checks on Dragon Lee, The Judgment Day (Finn and McDonagh) and Carlito flee through the crowd.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh) and Carlito meet. Damian Priest says he thought the Braun Strowman problem was dealt with, then tells Carlito that if he wants to play prospect, then he can ask General Manager Adam Pearce to make a match between him and Strowman tonight to take care of that problem. After The Judgment Day leave, R-Truth says he shows up and says he feels him, saying that while The Judgment Day may always kick you, they were the best day of his life. The Miz shows up and reminds him that they are World Tag Team Champions and to let go of The Judgment Day, but R-Truth tells The Miz that he is getting obsessed and walks off.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Sami admits he has not had a lot of time to enjoy being Intercontinental Champion, as Chad Gable has been a thorn in his side. He says that Gable made things about everything and everyone else, but it was always about him. He says that this has been going on for long enough, then proposes that Gable come to the ring right now without the rest of Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) so that they can put an end to everything right now. The rest of Alpha Academy show up, and a distressed Maxxine Dupri says that Gable does not consider them worth his time and that they need to redeem themselves, starting with sending a message to Sami. Sami says that Maxxine does not have to do this, then Maxxine reads a message where Gable says that Sami cannot and that his teaching can make people champions, and that without his help, the ring would be filled with failures. Gable also refers to past points in Alpha Academy's careers, then the message ends with Gable wanting his title match. Sami says that if this is what it takes to end, then he will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Gable at Clash at the Castle. Sami then asks the rest of Akira Tozawa if they are tired of being berated by Gable week in and week out, and that he and the rest of the fans know that they are better than that. He says that Gable does not get to decide what they are worth, then says he has been in their shoes before and that they must set themselves free from Gable once and for all. Suddenly, Sami is attacked from behind by Gable. Alpha Academy watches, then Gable demands that Otis help him finish the job. Otis is reluctant to do so, then Gable slaps him in the face. Tozawa then backs Gable away from Otis, and Gable berates him for it and pushes him into the corner. Maxxine then pulls Gable away from Tozawa, and Gable mockingly makes Maxxine beg him to stop. Gable then makes the rest of Alpha Academ leave the ring, but Otis gets in Gable's face, and that allows Sami to fight back. Gable throws Sami into Otis, which causes him to knock Otis into Maxxine and Tozawa and knock him off the apron. Gable then tells Otis that Sami did this on purpose, and Otis hits Sami with the World's Strongest Slam. As Gable gloats over a downed Sami, Otis carries Maxxine and Tozawa to the back.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Bron Breakker, who says that he would break Sami Zayn in half before stating he is here to congratulate Pearce on putting him in a match with real competition. Pearce says the only thing Breakker deserves is a second fine and that he is only in a match because Ricochet asked for it. After Pearce says that Ricochet knows about respect, Breakker says he will teach the two of them about respect, and says that nobody can hold him back.

Rey says that The Judgment Day does not run The Latino World Order and that he will deliver the message to Damian man-to-man and face-to-face.

Kofi says they are the best to ever do it and that so many people have tried to break them up only to fail. Suddenly, Karrion Kross shows up and says the "New Day Rocks" chant does not hit as hard anymore as the power of positivity is dead. Kofi says they do and that The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) will learn the hard way, and as Kofi leaves, Kross tells Woods that he will not have to follow Kofi around anymore.

Backstage, Natalya is met by Sonya Deville. All of a sudden, Sonya finds Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, but once again, Zoey says they do not care what she has to say and that they will show Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair who the best team is. Sonya tells them not to do anything rash, but Shayna says the only person who does not respect them is Sonya, whom she tells to leave them alone.

Braun Strowman beats Carlito when Finn Balor's interference attempt fails miserably. After the match, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh attack Braun Strowman, but Braun soon fights back and overpowers them. As Braun stalks Dominik, Liv Morgan stands between Braun and Dominik, and that allows Finn Balor, McDonagh and Carlito to attack Braun, and McDonagh is able to take Dominik out with the chair. McDonagh swings the chair again and again, hurting Strowman's knee in the process. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan is toe-to-toe with Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor has to stand between them.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair head to the ring. Bianca says it has been a while since she has been on Raw, but as one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, she and Jade will show up and show out regardless of the brand. Jade says they have been invited here tonight and they are to collect, and demand that Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler come to the ring to say what they want to say to their faces. Zoey and Shayna arrive, and Zoey says that the women's tag titles have not been on Raw in a while and that Jade and Bianca keep ducking and dodging them. Bianca says she and Jade are not scared of them, but Shayna says they should be, as they will break them for the tag team titles and send them both back to SmackDown. Jade asks why they should wait when they can do this right now. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up, and after the fans make it known they want this match, Pearce makes it official with the women's tag titles on the line.

Drew McIntyre shows up, then tells Damian to live it up as this is the highest his career will go and that it is personal between them at Clash at the Castle.

"Main Event" Jey Uso shows up in the crowd. Jey says he still has big plans for himself, and while he lost his family last year at Money In The Bank, he stayed in the fight because he knew he could do this on his own. He then thanks the fans for their support, then says that this year, he will climb the ladder and win the Money In The Bank contract.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Lyra Valkyria. Lyra says Becky Lynch is disappointed, but Becky is at her best when people have her beaten and that she will come back better. She says that Liv Morgan knows nothing about and will not be a champion for long. Lyra says she can stand on her own two feet, and her next goal is winning the women's Money In The Bank match. Suddenly, Lyra is attacked by Iyo Sky.
