Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis tells "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes that he is not to put his hands on Pat McAfee - who is on his way to the arena - under any circumstances, as per higher management. Jelly Roll shows up, and Nick Aldis tells Jelly Roll not to engage Randy Orton or McAfee. Aldis leaves, and Jelly Roll tells Cody his match at WrestleMania has everything to do with twenty years of betrayal.

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. She congratulates Jade Cargill on using her brain and finding her one true weakness, and tells her that she made this personal by attacking Iyo Sky. Rhea calls Jade Cargill out, then Iyo Sky shows up and heads to the ring. Rhea calls Jade Cargill out, then Iyo Sky shows up and heads to the ring. Rhea is surprised that Iyo is here, and Iyo says she knows that Rhea is angry, because so is she, and she knows she will get Cargill at WrestleMania. Iyo then she wants to face Cargill tonight. Rhea says she trusts Iyo, but knows she is not at 100 percent. She asks Iyo if this is what she wants, and Iyo says she is sure and that she wants Cargill tonight. General Manager Nick Aldis shows up, and while he admits he had something different in mind, he never lets a good idea pass him by, and he makes Iyo Sky vs. Jade Cargill official for tonight's main event.

Alexa Bliss beats Bayley after Bayley is too focused on Charlotte - who throws her jacket at Bayley for mocking her - while the referee is telling Lyra Valkyria not to get involved in the match.

Backstage in the trainer's room, Matt Cardona tells Carmelo Hayes that he will have to wait for his WrestleMania moment when Trick Williams and Lil Yachty shows up. Carmelo Hayes mentions the situation as well as the fact that he will have to rehab his knee, then hopes that Trick Williams wins at WrestleMania so he can take his title back. Carmelo leaves, then Cardona says he is tired of guests running their mouths like they own the place. Yatchy says that Trick might as well whup Cardona tonight, and Cardona says that this is a good idea and that he will talk to General Manager Nick Aldis.

We hear from Drew McInytre, who calls Jacob Fatu a failure as a man and a father. He says that he is in Jacob's hometown and that his family will be at the show tonight, then we find out that McIntyre is in a prison cell, which McIntyre says Jacob is more familiar with. He says that the cell represents what Jacob is and will always be: a convict. He says that Jacob picked prison over feeding his family and that he will never change, and that Jacob belongs in a prison cell instead of WWE. McIntyre says he will beat Jacob within an inch of life and that he will screw up again and end up right back in prison. He says that Jacob stole from him and became a liability, and that he will make it right by being Jacob's judge, jury and executioner at WrestleMania. Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Jacob Fatu during a photoshoot. The MFT's (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo) show up, and Solo Sikoa says that Jacob is not the only person with family in the Bay Area and that Jacob's past being brought up makes The MFT's look bad. Jacob tells Solo that they are not doing this today and that they can run it back and have a match tonight. Solo mockingly notes that Jacob is standing in the spot where his teeth got knocked out and that it would be a shame if it happened. Solo then addresses Tama Tonga as he says this, then mentions that he will talk to General Manager Nick Aldis so that Tama can take care of business tonight.

We see a vignette for Royce Keys in East Palo Alto, California. he talks about how choice was a luxury in East Palo Alto and grew up around crime as well as two grandparents who were not having any of it. We see Royce Keys' childhood home, and while Keys' family did not have a lot, they dreamed big, and he became a professional wrestler and managed to get out. He says that pro wrestling brings him peace and is what motivates him. Keys says that he will be defined not by where he is from, but by where he is going.

Royce Keys beats Berto in his SmackDown debut.

Pat McAfee arrives to the arena in a Dodge Ram and is met by General Manager Nick Aldis, who tells McAfee that nobody is allowed to put his hands on him under any circumstances. When he enters the building, Jelly Roll confronts McAfee. McAfee says that he should have never been between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, then Jelly Roll asks McAfee why he is here. McAfee says that people like Jelly Roll should not be in the business. Jelly shoves McAfee to the wall, and Aldis has to stop Jelly Roll. McAfee tells Aldis to get "this ex-convict" out of the building as he heads to the ring.

Undefeated Zuffy Boxing lightweight boxer Tony Hirsch Jr. is in the front row.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Royce Keys, who says that this has been a long time coming and that he gets to wrestle not just in the Bay Area, but around the world. Solo Sikoa shows up and says "long time, no see" and congratulates Royce Keys on his win, then says he runs things on SmackDown and that his door is always open if he needs anything.

Pat McAfee heads to the ring. McAfee calls San Jose, California "a shithole" and flips the fans off before saying it is crazy that people boo him but cheer CM Punk, and mocks the fact that CM Punk was covered in WWE merchandise and goes directly to him. He calls Punk a fraud, and says he is all talk and no action like a politician, and says that while Punk has the ability to change things, he gets down and rolls over "like the bitch that he is" before flipping the crowd off again. McAfee says he is man of action, an agent of change, and everything Punk says that he himself is, and while he agrees with Punk that ticket prices are too high, it is because of Orton that people want to go to WrestleMania. He then says that he will be the fans' hero, even though the "disgusting" fans do not deserve it, and says that he has called the Dodge Motor Company and that they will pay for 25% of the cost for WrestleMania tickets from now until the end of next week's Raw. McAfee calls WrestleMania "a once-in-a-century" night where Randy Orton will save the business while winning his fifteenth world title, then makes fun of the fact that the San Jose Sharks have never won a Stanley Cup. As McAfee calls "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes "a puppet" and boasts that he will be demoralized and pummeled by Orton, Cody shows up and heads to the ring. McAfee makes fun of Cody's entrance theme on the microphone, then Cody tells McAfee that he does not belong here. He then says that while he cannot touch him, McAfee can get a replica title and live out his WrestleMania moment at Fan Axxess before thanking whoever sent him. Cody says that McAfee is doing nothing but spouting catchphrases and mentioning the Attitude Era, then talks about how Paul Boesch says that "marks" are really "customers," and how the "customers" are really family to him. Cody tells McAfee has a gift, for as long as pro wrestling has existed, nobody has agreed on anything except for the fact that they want to see Randy Orton, but do not want to see Pat McAfee.Cody then says "Go...home...Pat," tosses the microphone to the site, has the fans chant "Go home," and is about leave when McAfee says he is home and born to be in the business while Cody was born into the business with a silver spoon in his mouth. McAfee goes on to call Cody the fakest person he has ever seen and "a cosplay champion" that he will rid the WWE of alongside Randy Orton, then tells him and the fans that if Orton does not walk out WrestleMania as champion, no one will ever see or hear from him ever again. Cody tells McAfee to take his sunglasses off, then calls McAfee for his hypocrisy about WWE and how McAfee says he is tired and states that they should bring Gunther in to put him to sleep once and for all before heading to the back. McAfee calls Cody "an elite runaway artist" and Stardust, then asks Cody if he will "suck Triple H's ass" to get a little bit more. Cody takes off his suit jacket and heads back to the ring when Randy Orton appears on the TitanTron. Orton reveals that he has attacked Jelly Roll backstage, and initially offers for Cody to "come get [his] boy" before deciding to bring Jelly Roll to him. Orton drags Jelly Roll to the stage and leaves, and McAfee approaches Cody as Cody checks on Jelly Roll. Cody confronts McAfee only for Orton to attack Cody from behind so that he and McAfee can gang up on him. Jelly Roll gets to his feet and grabs McAfee by the throat only to get clothesline by Orton, and Cody gets to his feet and fight back only to be attacked from behind by McAfee and hit with a draping DDT by Orton. McAfee then hands the Undisputed WWE Championship over to Orton, who then smacks Cody in the head with the center plate before he and McAfee celebrate over a downed Cody.

Backstage, Pat McAfee and Randy Orton are leaving. McAfee says that Orton is the focal point and saving the business, then mentions Cody Rhodes telling him to go home and does just that with Orton in his Dodge Ram after saying "You're welcome" to the fans. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are briefly seen in the background.

Backstage, The Miz and Kit Wilson confront General Manager Nick Aldis about what happened to referee Dan Engler's arm in their tag team title match. Aldis says there is nothing to be done and that the man was cursed by Danhausen, and says that this is about his scope of control, but Kit Wilson insists something be done. Aldis puts Wilson in a match with Danhausen.

The Castaneda Family are the recipients of the Papa Johns Fan Seat Upgrade.

Jacob Fatu beats Tama Tonga. After the match, Jacob Fatu gets on the microphone only to be attacked from behind by Drew McIntyre. Jacob hits McIntyre with a superkick, but McIntyre fires back with a Claymore. McIntyre then grabs a steel chair and smacks Jacob Fatu in the back with it before hitting him with a Future Shock DDT on the floor. As referee Charles Robinson checks on Jacob Fatu, McIntyre pulls out handcuffs with a long chain from his pocket. He handcuffs Jacob Fatu on one end, then drags him into the ring post and runs him into it before punching him a few times and handcuffing him to the top rope. He then wraps the chain around the ring post and boots him in the face. Referees are heading to the ring as McIntyre wraps the chain around the ring post again and asking Jacob Fatu what it is like to be in chains again before calling him an animal. Jacob Fatu headbutts McIntyre, and he falls down to the floor as McIntyre goes on the attack again. This time, McIntyre wraps the chain around Jacob's waist and handcuffs Jacob's hands behind his back. McIntyre then gets Jacob Fatu back in the ring and hits him with another Claymore, then shoves officials away before whipping Jacob with the leather belt off his blue jeans.

Backstage, R-Truth explains to Danhausen how to sign up to the ESPN App and watch WrestleMania. Danhausen says he cannot wait to beat Kit Wilson, then take over WrestleMania and the world. Damian Priest shows up and also meets Danhausen, who disappears when R-Truth and Priest argue over R-Truth getting Danhausen confused with Asuka. All of a sudden, Rhea Ripley attacks B-Fab, then says "One down, one to go," to R-Truth and Damian Priest. R-Truth says "I don't think Rhea wants her in The Judgement Day (Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio)." Damian Priest leaves.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Sami calls the fans' boos "an interesting reaction" before addressing the topic of change and what "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have told him about change, then notes that the fans want to see change as well. Sami says he has strived to give the fans something more than a T-shirt, catchphrase or viral moments and has tried to give the fans himself and something real. He says he has given his heart, mind and soul, and while some fans boo, it steal means something to others. Sami says he cares about the kids who look up to him and the adults who talk about how he got them through the hardest parts of their lives, as well as the fans in California who have had his back since day one. He says that for those people, he loves them and he will not change until the day he dies. As for everyone else, he wants to know what he did at first, then says it is okay because he does not care because he realized his "ride or die" fans will have his back. Sami says the pressure was off when he realized he had "ride or die" fans, then says he will walk into WrestleMania as champion and walk out of WrestleMania as champion before Trick Williams shows up and heads to the ring. Lil Yachty joins Trick on the way there. Trick says that people are tired of hearing Sami Zayn talk, as he is always crying and whining, has funky breath, and cannot get the job done. He says having his first WrestleMania match with Sami makes him want to get some mouthwash and beat Sami up. Trick admits it did not take twenty years for him to get to this spot, but says he is "the anointed one" and that he will beat Sami's ass at WrestleMania, "because everybody loves Trick Williams." Sami says love takes a long time to build and that while the fans like Trick and have a crush on him after he has been here six months, then says he can make all the jokes he wants, because at WrestleMania, he is in the ring with a WrestleMania main eventer, and he will drag Trick into deep water. He says that Trick has yet to show him anything, and he will see if Trick can walk the walk or if Trick is just talk. Lil Yachty says Sami sounds like a hater, and says that Trick Williams makes Trick Williams, not materialistic things, and that Trick will become the new United States Champion. Matt Cardona then shows up and heads to the ring for the next match. Sami Zayn watches the next match from ringside at the commentary table.

Trick Williams beats Matt Cardona. Trick shoves Sami at the commentary table before sending Matt Cardona back into the ring, and Sami confronts Trick. Lil Yachty pulls Sami off the ring apron and sends him jaw-first into it, and Sami answers with a Helluva Kick. Despite Matt Cardona taking advantage of the situation, Trick hits Cardona with the Trick Shot for the win.

Danhausen beats Kit Wilson in his WWE debut match after rising off the mat and cursing Kit Wilson as Kit Wilson goes for an elbow drop off the top rope, burning Kit Wilson with pyro out of the corner. After the match, The Miz tries to attack Danhausen from behind, but the lights go out and Danhausen escapes.

Backstage, Jade Cargill finds "Michin" Mia Yim down on the floor with a broken shinai. When Cargill asks what happens, Michin says "Rhea," and Cargill says "I got you."

Backstage, Rhea Ripley meets with Iyo Sky before her match with Jade Cargill. Rhea tells Iyo that she took "Michin" Mia Yim and B-Fab out, and has saved Jade Cargill for her. Iyo appreciates it, then tells Rhea to stay backstage so she is not distracted. Rhea tells Iyo to save some of Cargill for her for WrestleMania.

Jade Cargill beats Iyo Sky. After the match, Cargill grabs a metal folding chair, but Rhea Ripley runs to the ring before Cargill can hit Iyo with it. Cargill leaves the ring and leaves the chair behind as Rhea checks on Iyo.

Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for April 10, 2025

"All Ego" Ethan Page heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Ethan Page calls TNA the place where he became "All Ego" and where he still holds the record for longest-reigning tag team champion in company history, then focuses on the TNA World Championship. He proclaims that at Rebellion, the people can believe all they want, but he will finally become TNA World Champion. He says that he beat Joe Hendry once and that he can do it ago, and that he knows everything he needs to know about him. As Ethan states that nothing will stop him from winning the TNA World Championship, Frankie Kazarian shows up and says Ethan cannot just crawl back to "his company" and win the World Championship, and says he is "a feeble minded idiot" like the fans. He also states that Ethan is abrasive, self-centered and arrogant, and Ethan praises Kazarian for saying they hate the both of them. Kazarian then brags about winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Trophy and says Ethan just kissed ass for a title shot, but Ethan says Kazarian is just upset it is not him. After Kazarian states that he will have his way and walk out of Rebellion as TNA World Champion, Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up. Santino announces that Joe Hendry is about to show up and address something regarding Unbreakable that will affect both Ethan and Kazarian.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Steve Maclin. Maclin says that he is approaching tonight's match like he does every other one, and while he expects the rest of The System (Brian Myers, Moose, JDC, Alisha Edwards) to interfere, he will take care of Eddie Edwards. The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) shows up, and Eric Young says that they have Maclin's back no matter what. Maclin tells The Northern Armory that he does not need them in his business.

"Inevitable" Ace Austin beats Mustafa Ali by disqualification after Mustafa hits Austin with a metal folding chair as Austin fends off The Great Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch). After the match, The Great Hands hit Ace Austin with The Favor, then hold down Austin in the corner at Mustafa's command. Tasha Steelz hands a chair to Mustafa, then Mike Santana suddenly shows up. Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands - now known as "Order Four" - run away through the crowd after Mustafa swings at Santana only for Santana to block the chair with his fist.

Backstage, Order Four (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz) make their way out of the arena and into a waiting car. They soon find out Santana is in the driver's seat, and while everyone else escapes, Skyler is taken for a ride after Santana attacks him.

Before the next match, JDC tells Cody Deaner not to pander to the fans before asking him when he last won a match. He says he knows Deaner's contract is up soon and that things are not looking good for him and his kids. He offers Deaner a spot in The System, albeit as "a young boy" and not as an official member, and tells him to trust The System as he does not have many options. Once again, Deaner leaves the choice up to the fans, who make it clear that they do not want him to join The System. JDC tells Deaner not to listen to the fans, but Deaner proposes beating Moose for the X Division Championship. Moose laughs and says that if Deaner can last two minutes against him, he can get a shot at the X Division Championship. Deaner leaves the choice to the fans, and the fans make it clear they want to see this challenge.

Moose retains the TNA X Division Championship against Cody Deaner. Cody Deaner lasts the first two minutes to make the match an X Division title match after Moose lets the match keep going almost a minute in, but Moose beats him with two Spears shortly afterwards. After the match, JDC, Myers and Moose gang up on Cody Deaner, but they run away when The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) show up with baseball bats.

The System (Brian Myers and JDC) beat The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) after JDC holds down Trey Miguel's feet as Trey tries to get Myers back in the ring, allowing Myers to fall on top of Trey for the win as JDC continues to hold Trey's feet down.

AJ Francis beats Sami Callihan and Mance Warner in a triple threat match to advance in the TNA International Championsip Tournament after hitting Callihan with the TFL following Callihan plunging his thumb into Mance Warner's eye.

Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella confronts Sami Callihan for ramming his thumb in Mance Warner's eye. Sami Callihan mentions Steph de Lander burning his retina with hot coffee, and says he wants this to be over. Santino agrees, and Sami Callihan says he wants to make history doing it in a Barbed Wire Massacre Match. Santino makes it official for Unbreakable.

Leon Slater beats "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth with a Twist of Slate (a Twist of Fate into a Blunt Force Trauma) followed by a Swanton 450 Splash after The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) stop Ryan Nemeth from using a metal folding chair as a weapon.

We hear from Mustafa Ali, who tells John Skyler that he will go after Order Four (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz) one by one. He tells Skyler that Mustafa Ali will use him like everyone else and get rid of him when he is done. He says that all is fair in war and that if Skyler wants to drink his Kool-Aid, then he nearly hits him a shovel as he shows him what it is like to hit rock bottom.

Eddie Edwards beats Steve Maclin after The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) shows up and distracts Steve Maclin as he takes down Brian Myers and JDC, allowing Alisha Edwards to sneak a ring to Eddie so he can knock Maclin out for the win. After the match, Eric Young tosses his hockey mask to Steve Maclin.

Joe Hendry heads to the ring. Hendry announces that he has suffered a serious rotator cuff injury, then says that if you cannot defend the championship, you should not be the champion. He calls the last year "the most amazing journey" and that it is all because of the fans, but he has to take the bad with the good, and that he has been advised not to compete. However, he will defend the TNA World Championship at Rebellion, and he will defend it against Frankie Kazarian and "All Ego" Ethan Page and walk out still the TNA World Champion. He says he will do it because the fans have kept chanting "We believe," then Kazarian shows up and says that while this is really inspiring, he is sick of Hendry, and Hendry will not walk out as champion because he will barely be able to walk into the building. He says that Hendry is "a wounded duck" and is not at 100%, and that he will not be able to hang with him. Kazarian says Hendry cares about what the fans think and desires to be loved, but when he loses that, he will beat him and "All Ego" Ethan Page to become champion. Hendry mentions Kazarian saying he cannot wait to beat him, and says that at Unbreakable there will be a tag team match. Kazarian will team with Tessa Blanchard, while he will team with Masha Slamovich to face Kazarian.

Backstage, The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) talk with "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. Marshall says he is ticked that one of the six-man title belts is ticke doff, and Ross says they are ready to show what respect looks like. Dustin Rhodes says MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) now have their attention with a "juvenile and stupid" act of stealing a championship belt, and that he is not backing down from a challenge, which is why he has brought The Von Erichs. He challenges MxM Collection and Johnny TV to a match for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships so they can take back what is theirs.

Tomohiro Ishii beats Preston Vance.

In backstage footage from AEW Dynasty, Alicia Atout interviews Bandido as his family and Gravity watch on. He says his win against "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho means everything, and that he is grateful to have this moment in front of his family. He also calls his mother "the real champion" for taking care of him and his brother Gravity through the years.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) beat Dominic Garrini, Kevin Ku and Davey Bang in a six-man tag match.

We hear from Taya Valkyria, who says that she has been in ROH for two years and that she finally has an opportunity to go after Red Velvet and the ROH Women's World Television Championship. She says the only person in her way is La Catalina, and while she knows what it takes to find one's place in another country because she wrote the book, she will not let Catalina get in her way of championship gold.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for April 10, 2024

Before the next match, Samoa Joe is attacked by Swerve Strickland and Speared through a table on the way to the ring.

We see a vignette of Trent Beretta's betrayal of Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor), complete with Kris Statlander confronting him backstage afterwards.

Backstage, Renee Paquette announces that Orange Cassidy will be addressing Trent's actions tonight (which strangely never happens).

Adam Copeland retains the TNT Championship against Penta el Zero Miedo. After the match, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Julia Hart is in the ring. Copeland is suddenly attacked from behind by Brody King. Willow Nightingale runs into the ring and beats up Julia, and Brody has to save Julia. A slightly misted Willow and Brody King have a staredown, then Copeland gets the better of Brody.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Hook, "Lionheart" Chris Jericho and Katsuyori Shibata. Jericho appreciates Hook bringing in Shibata for Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo) on his own and says Hook is learning, and says that he will start with Ogogo and knock his block in before Hook and Shibata take care of the others. Hook and Shibata are in, although Shibata wants to know what Jericho's deal is.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mark Briscoe and Eddie Kingston. Mark says he feels amazing even though he is in pain from he and Eddie having a dogfight, and Eddie says that he is also pretty beat up. Adam Copeland, Willow Nightingale and Stokely Hathaway show up, and Copeland asks Mark and Eddie it they are still good for Dynasty. After Stokely humorously tries to pit Willow against Copeland for the TNT title, Willow and Copeland challenge Julia Hart and Brody King to a tag team match next week on Dynamite. Stokely Hathaway apologizes to Eddie for saying he smelled like Burger King and Newports in the past.

We hear from The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Nicholas talks about the finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championships in which they will face FTR, and says he and Matthew have some wounds that have never fully healed. He mentions their match at All In last year, then Matthew mentions the Jack Perry incident from that show. Nicholas says "the other individual" tried to make the show about himself and happened to be friends with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), and says that FTR are the masterminds in all this. Matthew tells him this is not a good thing to say without proof, then says that there were wrestling journalists who needed answers about this. He says FTR beat them at All In, but also says there should be a giant asterisk after that victory. We then see backstage footage that almost ruined their reputation, but didn't. We then see silent backstage footage of Jack Perry being talked to by CM Punk before Punk suddenly shoves and punches him without warning. Both Perry and Punk have to be separated. Matthew says the worst part about all this is they created a wrestling show only to be so distracted by something so stupid that they lost, which led to them refusing to shake hands with FTR. Nicholas says that at Dynasty, they are not shaking hands with FTR at all. (The decision to use backstage camera footage from All In to further a storyline is received overwhelmingly negatively by fans on social media, and the actual All In footage is omitted from official social media during the broadcast and from the YouTube upload after the show's end. Furthermore, All Elite Wrestling submits DMCA takedowns of video of the backstage footage from the broadcast against anyone who uploads it.)

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring, and Cash Wheeler asks why the footage from earlier had to be shown aside from The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) having excuses for losing. He says they are tired of talking about this, especially as they are doing their best work at the moment, because The Young Bucks cannot get over losing at All In. He says that at Dynasty, they have to beat The Young Bucks, not for legacy, but because he is tired of "petty little bitches." Dax Harwood says that every time The Young Bucks have a chance to talk, they have to mention that without them, several wrestlers would be without a job and there would be no AEW, and while he cannot help but agree with that, he knows they have something over The Young Bucks that allows them to eclipse them as the best tag team on the planet. He says that the fans cared about FTR and AEW, but somewhere along they way, they started only caring about what was best for the EVP's, and on the back of everyone who wants to be in AEW, they will continue to build AEW not just for themselves, but for all professional wrestlers who want to make a decision as well as a living, as well as for all the fans who spend their hard-earned money on one ticket to get lost in their drama and action. Harwood says they are doing this for the fans, and if The Young Bucks do not want to be part of AEW, then they can grab their ball and go home. He says this is not about AEW or All In, but about wrestling and the AEW World Tag Team Championships, as two teams walk in and one walks out as the first-ever three-time tag champs. He says that The Young Bucks may have built the foundation, but they will be the ones putting shingles on the house so they can blow off the roof again.

We see a video package for "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay at Dynasty.

Renee Paquette interviews Will Ospreay on the stage. Ospreay says he has the rumor that he is "afraid of the grind," and admits that he has no idea where this conversation has come from, as he has flown all over the world every single week to deliver some of the best professional wrestling matches the world has seen. He says he would not usually rise to this type of bait, but since the person mentioning this was "grinding on the boss' daughter," (a reference to recent statements made by Paul "Triple H" Levesque on The Pat McAfee Show in which Levesque stated ""If you're not in it for the grind at that point early in your career, you've no business being [in WWE]") that that person has no reason to be talking about "the grind" because they have no idea what he fights for and that they should not be throwing stones at an assassin with a machine gun. Ospreay says he is better than "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and that the only chance Danielson has of beating him is from grounding him, something that other man have tried and failed to do. He says Danielson is a legend, and that he cannot call himself the best until he beats him at Dynasty. He says that AEW is where the best wrestle, and that it is his time and it is time for him to show what he can do at Dynasty.

We hear from Julia Hart. She says Willow Nightingale is strong and powerful and always has a spark inside of her, but a single spark can start a raging fire. She says that she will pull back her back and reveal she has not just smiles and rainbows, but hurt and anger. She says Willow knows what she is capable of, yet comes back for more. She says she will dim that spark, turn the smile into a frown, and make sure Willow never comes after he crown. She says that she is the Princess of the Black Throne and that it is her destiny to stay TBS Champion.

Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Anthony Ogogo) beat Hook, "Lionheart" Chris Jericho and Katsuyori Shibata in a trios match after Jericho argues with Hook on the outside before Hook can tag out Shibata, allowing Shane Taylor to knock Shibata while the referee is not looking. After the match, Hook tells Jericho that he has had enough and tells him to get out. Hook then raises Shibata's hand in the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, and says Samoa Joe is still medically cleared to compete tonight after what happened at the beginning of the show. Dustin says there is no change to the strategy and that he has nothing to lose and everything to gain with what is on the line tonight. He says the time for talking is over and that he is here for business, that he is all about grit, work ethic, passion and glory, and that tonight is no different.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada beats Cristiano Argento. After the match, Okada tells PAC that he accepts his challenge and that he will see him at Dynasty. PAC then shows up and paces the stage before heading to the ring. As he does, he is attacked from behind by The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Following numerous Young Bucks superkicks, Okada is about to lay PAC out when FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up and brawl with The Young Bucks. Okada gets a chair and hits FTR with it as they are about to hit Matthew with Shatter Machine. The Young Bucks then blast both members of FTR with the EVP-Trigger before Okada cracks PAC in the head with the chair.

Backstage, we hear from Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn), who brag about about beating up "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn before stating that they want to do it again.

Renee Paquette introduces Thunder Rosa, followed by "Timeless" Toni Storm, to the stage as part of "The Charleston Championship Champagne Toast." When it comes time for the toast, Toni Storm throws her champagne at Thunder Rosa's face and goes for the cheap shot before hitting her with a serving tray and smearing the facepaint all over her face. "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo chases after Toni, then checks on Thunder Rosa, who almost hits her. Mariah May then heads to the ring for the next match.

Mariah May beats Anna Jay with a counter into a roll-up. After the match, Anna Jay puts Mariah May in the Queenslayer, then Mina Shirakawa runs into the ring and chases Anna Jay out to make the save for Mariah May. Afterwards, Shirakawa provides Mariah May with a champagne toast before kissing her on the lips.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Mercedes Moné. Mercedes says that history was made five years ago when AEW had their first-ever pay-per-view, and she plants to make history - and change the game - when she gets to Double or Nothing. She says she cannot wait for the TBS Championship match as Julia Hart and Willow Nightingale are among the best and Julia is very mysterio while Willow is a force to be reckoned with.She also mentions how she last faced Willow and not only lost the match, but lost the opportunity to be champion as she was injured. She says she has a plan, but when she is asked who she wants to face at Double or Nothing, the lights go out, and Mercedes is attacked before the lights come back on.

Samoa Joe beats "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match. During the match, Dustin Rhodes introduces the World title into the match, but ends up not using it against Samoa Joe. After the match, Joe puts Dustin in a sleeper hold to send a message to Swerve, who suddenly shows up and hits Joe with a House Call from out of nowhere. Swerve then gets his chain back from Joe and wraps it around his right hand, punching him in the face and forcing him to retreat as referees, security, and members of the locker room restore order. Prince Nana then hands the AEW World Championship to Swerve to end the show, much to Joe's anger.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 10, 2023

Rey Mysterio heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He admits that it has been a crazy year for him, and while he has had a lot of ups and downs, entering the WWE Hall of Fame and competing on the biggest WrestleMania of all time should have been a dream come true, but instead, he had to face his own son. As Rey states that he really wanted things to be different between himself and Dominik Mysterio, Dominik shows up and tells Rey to keep his name out of his mouth, because he is sick and tired of hearing about what Rey wants as Rey makes things about himself. He says that Rey never cared about him and that because of this, he is better off with "his real family," The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio). Rey calls The Judgment Day a bunch of selfish idiots who are using him, but Dominik says Rey is the real user and selfish one as he always gets what he wants. Dominik says he would have beaten Rey if it were not for Bad Bunny and that Rey used Bad Bunny like he used him. Dominik says that while Bad Bunny makes a lot of good songs, Bad Bunny going through a table is music to his ears, and that he hopes he stays out of The Judgment Day's business. Rey tells Dominik he has heard from Bad Bunny and that he has said that he will be back and that The Judgment Day will regret putting their hands on him. Dominik calls this "more empty words from a deadbeat dad," and tells Rey to worry more about what The Judgment Day will do to him than Bad Bunny. Rey asks Dominik when he will man up and take care of things on his own, then admits that while he did not want to fight Dominik at WrestleMania, he considers him a lost cause. Rey then challenges Dominik to a WrestleMania rematch tonight. Dominik says he does not want to fight his own father, but he knows who will: Finn Balor, who shows up for the opening match.

Finn Balor beats Rey Mysterio after Dominik Mysterio knocks Rey out with a right hand with a chain wrapped around it.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis). As Gable talks about their match with The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) tonight, Maxxine Dupri tries to talk to Otis when it is revealed that Lita has been attacked while Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan call for help. WWE official Adam Pearce and a referee show up, as do Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. Becky thinks that Liv and Raquel may have something to do with this.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Becky Lynch. Becky says Lita is in a local medical facility and that she only has her suspicions on who did it, and when she finds out who did it, she will slap off their heads. She says that the fans expect a match out of her, then Trish and Adam Pearce show up. Trish says that they made a good team at WrestleMania and that she will do it again tonight for Lita.

We see a video package for Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions after Liv Morgan ducks the Chick Kick from Trish and pins her with a schoolkid pin. After the match, Becky raises Trish's hand and hugs her, then Trish attacks Becky from behind and hits her with the Chick Kick.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Paul Heyman. Heyman once again dodges the question about Brock Lesnar's latest actions, then says that Kevin Owens has a problem and that Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle are not here tonight because they are smart enough not to mess with Solo Sikoa while Owens is "not that bright." He says that Owens is coming out with zero allies and fewer friends tonight, then says that he, Solo and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) are here and asks who would take advantage of Owens in his vulnerable state and follow Roman Reigns' order to solve "the Kevin Owens problem" before saying that "we the ones."

Backstage, Trish Status refuses to answer Byron Saxton's question about why she laid out Becky Lynch.

Backstage, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky wait for Bayley in front of WWE official Adam Pearce's office. Bayley says she tried to get a tag team title match, then mentions that she has a three-way match against Piper Niven and "Michin" Mia Yim tonight and that the winner gets an opportunity against Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women's Championship. Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai are not happy that they do not have a title opportunity, and goes back to Pearce's office to see if one of them can take her place.

Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed ends in a double count-out. After the match, Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed brawl on the outside, and multiple referees and officials have to separate both men.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. Cody says that he usually has a singular focus and has had one since he came back to WWE, but after last week, everything feels a bit cloudy. He then says that he lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and calls it "a polarizing moment" in WWE before asking the fans to blame him after he did not just adjust or calculate for the lengths that Roman was willing to go to stay champion. Cody then says he heard only two things: that being in the main event is a win in itself - even though there is no point if you do not steal the show - and that if he were to ever challenge for the championship again, he would have to earn it. He says that this dismisses his whole career and his whole life after he threw himself into the forest and became leader of the wolfpack, saying he has not just earned it, but he is it. Cody then says his unfinished tale has a whole new wrinkle to it in the form of Brock Lesnar, and says the only thing more embarrassing being surrounded by over 80,000 people and a rubber chicken over your head is heading back to work looking for a modicum of satisfaction only to be destroyed by Lesnar. Cody says that either Lesnar was unhappy with his spot at WrestleMania - which he can understand - or that he is uncertain about him and the hype and change that he brought that could affect him. He says that he knows both Lesnar and Heyman are listening, and asks Lesnar why he would be uncertain, as he sees a predator whenever he looks into the mirror and everyone has been lunch and "a victim" to him in both wrestling and MMA even when he was a rookie. Cody asks Lesnar if he is "a victim" to him, then admits that while he would be crazy not to be scared of Lesnar, he still wants to fight him, and he wants to leave no stone unturned and make it so that Lesnar sees himself as pray and as "[his] victim." He then says that it could by any time and at any place, and even though Lesnar is not here tonight, he challenges Lesnar to a one-on-one match for the first time ever at Backlash before telling him to answer the call.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis).

Iyo Sky beats "Michin" Mia Yim and Piper Niven in a Triple Threat Match to get a shot at the WWE Raw Women's Championship after Mia Yim hits Piper Niven with Eat Defeat only for Iyo Sky to hit Mia Yimi with Over The Moonsault. (Iyo Sky replaces Bayley in this match.)

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Kevin Owens. Owens says he has never been a wise person, and while he has some street smarts, he leads with his emotions and his emotions get the best of him all the time. He then says his heart tells him that he must beat Solo Sikoa, and even though Sami Zayn is not here and he should not compete tonight, all he cares about is getting revenge.

Solo Sikoa beats Kevin Owens after Jimmy Uso distracts the referee so that Jey Uso can superkick Owens on the outside, allowing Solo Sikoa to hit the Samoa Spike for the win. After the match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) stomp a mudhole in Owens in the corner, then Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle suddenly run to the ring from backstage. The Usos run towards the ramp to intercept them, and this starts a brawl where Riddle and Zayn get the upper hand on The Usos before they overpower Solo Sikoa. Jey gets back in the ring, but he does not fare any better than Solo, when Jimmy tries to make the save, Owens gets back in the ring to hit him with the Stunner. Sami goes for the Helluva Kick on Jey, but Solo makes the save as he and The Usos retreat.

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews Bandido and Rey Horus. Rey Horus has been pulled from tonight's match due to injury. Flamita shows up and says they are family and a team. When Bandido and Rey Horus leave, Flamita chuckles. Meanwhile, Jay Lethal says he is still in pain from 19th Anniversary, but he and The Foundation (Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, Rhett Titus0 are still standing and ready to clean up. He says that Bandido and Flamita are getting a pissed off Foundation, for it is time to get back on track.

The Foundation (Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham) beat Mexisquad (Bandido and Flamita). During the match, Bandido inadvertently hits Flamita with an enzuigiri, and later on in the match, Bandido and Flamita are no longer on the same page. This leads to Flamita punching Bandido, and The Foundation are able to take advantage of this for the win, with Flamita leaving Bandido high and dry as Jay Lethal wins with a Figure four Leg Lock on Bandido.

WrestleMania 37: Night One - The LIVE Results

At the start of the show, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon says that the WWE Superstars have performed tirelessly week by week, month by month, and says that the fans were what was missing. Vince McMahon thanks the fans, then welcomes them to WrestleMania.

It is announced that there is a weather delay at the start of the show.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Shane McMahon, who says that he is going to take out Braun Strowman, and says that he has only been having fun with him. Suddenly, MVP and Lashley show up. MVP says that the time for talking is done and that this is Lashley's crowning moment, and the only language Lashley can speak and Drew McIntyre can understand is the language of violence. He says that the WWE Championship changes whoever wins it, then says this is it for McIntyre as Lashley will beat him. Drew McIntyre shows up and says not even Mother Nature will save Lashley, and if they have to do it backstage, they will do it. Officials and referees keep Lashley and MVP away from McIntyre, who says he is trying to keep himself together while wrestling in front of fans for the first time in over a year and that their match will happen tonight.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). They are excited to perform in front of fans for the first time in more than a year, and Kofi Kingston wants to see if "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos can be a tag team. Xavier Woods says they have been the size they are since they started wrestling, but they are ready for tonight, and they don't care how big Omos is or how phenomenal Styles is, then Big E shows up. Big E says that everyone is about to see why The New Day is one of the greatest tag teams on God's green earth, and tells Kevin Patrick to consider himself blessed as he sees them do work.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Braun Strowman, who says he is ready to get out there and fighting for everyone who has ever been bullied, and that he will beat Shane McMahon within an inch of his life. He says you can only poke a bear so many times before he strikes, and he will prove that bullies do not win in life. He says he will be standing atop a corpse and that Shane will be lucky if he takes another breath.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Kevin Owens. Owens takes the microphone and talks about when he first met Sami Zayn, saying there were a lot alike and very passionate about the business. He talks about how he and Sami wrestled each other at home and all over the world many times, but through those twenty years, no two people were looked down upon and talked down to by industry experts more than them. He says that it has never been as big or as important at is has been tonight, and the Sami Zayn we see now is not the Sami Zayn he has always known, but in the end, he will stun sense right back into Sami Zayn.He also says that if Logan Paul wants to try something, he'll be in the ring.

It is announced that WrestleMania will begin in five minutes.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Bianca Belair. Belair admits she is nervous, but she cares and is ready for tonight. She says that Sasha Banks may be the best, but she does not run from competition and will prove she is the best. She is also grateful for the fans, and is glad that they are here tonight.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Seth Rollins, who keeps calling Kevin "Mike" and mispronouncing Cesaro's name while saying that he will become "the new Mr. WrestleMania" when he trounces Cesaro tonight.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Miz and John Morrison. Morrison says you can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps, and says Bad Bunny and Damian Priest are scum. He also says that Bad Bunny may be moist, but not as moist as "Johnny Drip Drip." The Miz says this is WrestleMania, not the Grammys or any other music award show, and that he and Morrison are the greatest tag team of the 21st century.

Titus O'Neil and Hulk Hogan show up to host tonight's show. Titus welcomes everyone to the arena and the city of Tampa Bay, and says that the fans have the energy WWE has been wanting for a whole year. He says that for the first time in a year, a month and a day, WWE is back in business live. Hogan tells Titus that the fans didn't hear him, and Titus repeats himself. Hogan says they will make history tonight and tomorrow night, and that they will start with the first match in front of fans in more than a year. Hogan and Titus then hype up the WWE Championship match between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

Bobby Lashley retains the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre with the Hurt Lock when McIntyre is unable to fight out of the hold and passes out.

Backstage, Bayley stands between Titus O'Neil and Hulk Hogan (who is with Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and X-Pac) and offers assistance in hosting the show. When she flashes the "Too Sweet" hand signal, she is almost left hanging, as O'Neil and Hogan are not interested.

Natalya and Tamina beat the team of Lana and Naomi, the team of Billie Kay and Carmella, the team of Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose, and The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott) in a Tag Team Turmoil Match to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. During the match, Mandy Rose slips on the ramp on the way to the ring. Also during the match, when Liv Morgan pins Dana Brooke with an inside cradle, the ring announcer erroneously announces that The Riott Squad have been eliminated only to correct himself several seconds later. At the end of the match, Natalya almost goes for the Sharpshooter, but thinks better of it and tags in Tamina to get the win with the Superfly Splash.

In his first one-on-one WrestleMania match, Cesaro beats Seth Rollins after debuting a new move called the U.F.O. (an airplane spin that briefly goes hands-free), followed by 23 Cesaro Swings and a Neutralizer.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Ziggler says that now that he and Roode have arrived, it feels like WrestleMania, and Roode says they clean up nicely for a couple of "dirty dawgs." He says that The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) are a great tag team, but rainbows and unicorns only get one so far, and Roode says he has known "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for a long time and knows not to bet against him. Roode and Ziggler predict AJ Styles and Omos will win tonight.

Big E introduces The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) before the next match.

When Matt Cardona shows up, Johnny Swinger is jealous of Cardona's success, but Cardona says Swinger is upset he doesn't have his own action figure. Tommy Dreamer pops up and puts Cardona and Swinger in a "Crate American Bash Match."

We hear from Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino). Eric Young calls Tommy Dreamer, Eddie Edwads, Willie Mack and Rich Swann pillars of Impact Wrestling, but he will smash those pillars because they have the disease while Violent By Design sees the truth. Young says Violent By Design are absolute believers of violence, and that the world belongs to Violent By Design.

Matt Cardona beats Johnny Swinger in a Crate American Bash Match. After the match, Cardona takes the one crate that is not utilized during the match - after having looked in it before the end of the match - and carries it with him to the back.

We look back at Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu from Hardcore Justice 2010.

At Swinger's Palace, "The Cowboy" James Storm, Chris Sabin and XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero) are still at the blackjack table, and Storm is outdrinking XXXL. Larry D is wondering when the match will be.

Sami Callihan heads to the ring. Callihan says there is a common misconception about him that he is a bad guy, but Callihan says he just wants the best out of people like Trey Miguel, and that he brought passion out of him after beating him within an inch of his life. He goes on to say that under his mentorship, he can take Trey Miguel to the next level, and he plans to teach another lesson in passion by getting an opportunity on tonight show, and issues an open challenge to anyone in the back. The open challenge is answered by - of all people - Sam Beale.

Sami Callihan beats Sam Beale.

Jake Something beats Brian Myers in a Hardcore Blindfold Match. During the match, Myers grabs and clotheslines the referee in order to remove his blindfold for a cheap shot, then Matt Cardona shows up with the crate from earlier. After faking out Myers, he passes the crate to Jake, who uses it as a weapon to win the match. Inside the crate is various action figures.

We hear from Tommy Dreamer, Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann and Willie Mack. Dreamer says he knows Eddie, Willie and Swann will have his back, and Swann says that when Dreamer needed friends and knew what he was capable of, he was in. He says that Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino) may think they are violent, but they have fire and they will beat Violent By Design tonight.

Tennille Dashwood beats Havok, Alisha, Rosemary, Su Yung and Jordynne Grace in a weapons match to become #1 contender to the Impact Knockouts Championship. Before the match, Susan shows up, but Su Yung's theme plays and Susan is attacked and enveloped into Su Yung, who takes part in the match. Later on in the match, Tenille has to be helped to the back, but she returns from out of nowhere after Nevaeh throws powder into Havok's face and Jordynne Grace takes out Havok only to be dragged out of the ring and superkicked by Kaleb to pin Havok for the win.

At Swinger's Palace, Acey Romero is so drunk that he is woozy on his feet and falls down on a chair. James Storm tells Larry D it is now time for a drinking match, then he and Sabin have a drunken game of Beer Pong with XXXL. Acey Romero misses, Sabin throws his ball at the cup as opposed to into it, Larry D misses, and Storm throws his all into Larry D's eye before he and Sabin throw Larry D into the blacjack table before Storm puts his ball in the cup.

Deonna Purrazzo retains the Impact Knockouts Championship against Jazz in a title vs. career match, effectively retiring Jazz. After the match, Jordynne Grace checks on Jazz and hugs her, then head to the back.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer is found laid out, and this leaves Team Dreamer (Tommy Dreamer, Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack, Rich Swann) without its leader.

Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino) beats Team Dreamer (Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Trey Miguel) in an eight-man Hardcore War. Trey Miguel shows up as a surprise substitution for Tommy Dreamer before the match's official start.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for April 10, 2021

Humongous beats Super Ed with just two big boots. After the match, The Crowleys show up and surround Super Ed to see if he is alive, then leave.

Backstage, "The GunShow" Brett Matthews is looking for "The Memphis Mauler" Alan Steel and Johnny Dotson when he runs into Eric McMahon, who wants to manage him. Matthews declines.

Cassandra Golden beats Paris Kelly. Precious is seen at ringside around the start of the match, and soon after the bell rings, "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt shows up and has a confrontation with Precious at ringside throughout the match, apparently over Cassandra Golden. After the match, Cassandra Golden heads to the back alone and annoyed.

Backstage, Terrance Ward interviews Cece Chanel, who says she has heard what Amber Rodriguez has said about her, and says that Amber should be about it instead of talking about it before challenging her to a match next week where she will make Amber eat her words.

Backstage, Derrick King shows up, irritated with "Smoking Hot" Nikki and Austin Lane, when Austin Lane shows up and angrily confronts Derrick for his actions last week before proposing a rematch between Nikki and Queen Katelynn Black with King and Van Viciouss in Katelynn's corner and Austin Lane in "Smokin Hot" Nikki Lane's corner.

Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

"Delicious" Van Viciouss beats Bam Bam Malone after Queen Katelynn Black distracts the referee so Viciouss can hit Malone with the briefcase.

The Skimahorns, Big Ace and Big Jack Parker beat The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) and Da Russell Twins (Allen and Isaiah Russell) in an eight-man tag match. At one point in the match, Da Russell Twins inadvertently knock down a ceiling tile as they leap off Simon's back. After the match, Big Ace and Big Jack - who were paid by The Skimahorns to be their partners in this match - are not exactly happy by how The Skimahorns took the pinfall from them.

Norman Meklakov beats "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt. During the match, Precious is seen with Cassandra Golden. This distracts Rembrandt, and Meklakov hits the full nelson slam for the win. After the match, Cassandra Golden shoves Precious, then checks on Rembrandt.

Jase Osei beats a very reluctant Precious, who keeps calling for Cassandra Golden.

Backstage, "The Memphis Mauler" Alan Steel says that Johnny Dotson is taking care of business, then tells "The GunShow" Brett Matthews to meet him in the ring, where he immediately goes. "The GunShow" Brett Michaels shows up, but he is attacked from behind by Johnny Dotson. Michaels goes at it with Doston and Steel in the ring, but Dotson and Steel overpower him. Referees show up to break up the beating as the show ends.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Hollywood recap for April 10, 2021

At the start of the show, acting matchmaker Jamie Iovine feels he got on the wrong foot with the fans a few weeks ago and says he is the matchmaker now, then says he is working for the fans to make the best show possible and is not doing this for his own . He announces that next week, Jordan Clearwater and Jack Banning will square off, and that Richie Slade will also defend the Hollywood Heritage Championship against EJ Sparks next week. As for today's show, there is a three-way match between Heather Monroe, Cece Chanel and Viva Van with Mylo Matters as special guest referee, and says that the United Television Championship is on the line right now.

Levi Shapiro retains the United Television Championship against Jack Cartwright after Howdy Price trips Cartwright off the top rope. Anthony Idol checks on Jack Cartwright after the match.

Guy Tweakacetti introduces 4 Minutes of Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) - now known as "The Midnight Heat" - before the next match.

The Midnight Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) beat Jordan Cruz and Keita Murray after Guy Tweakacetti stands on the ring apron, causing Cruz to inadvertently trip Murray off the top rope and allow The Midnight Heat to hit 4 Minutes to Midnight for the win.

In footage from earlier today, Ray Rosas says actions speak louder than words, then Dan Joseph shows up and says he has apologized, but Rosas tells Joseph he will have another moment, and says that if Joseph wants to make it right, he will meet him in the ring.

The Friendship Farm (Gentleman Jervis and Darwin Finch) head to the ring. Jervis states that he and Darwin Finch have asked "Sweet" Robin Shaw to come to the ring so they can talk out their differences. "Sweet" Robin Shaw shows up, and Jervis says he knows that Shaw is upset about how things ended up between them, and says that while there is a lot of anger and rage in him, he can be one of the best of all time if he can keep it in check. He also admits that while they have not won many matches, they have tried their hardest, and trying counts for something. He apologizes for not being an exemplary tag team partner, then tells Shaw that he is special, irreplacable and "one of us." Shaw says that he is indeed irreplacable, because he replaced Super Beetle and Finch replaced him, and when Super Beetle left, he was stuck with Jervis. He says that he is everything Jervis is not, and that he is "the world's sweetest man." Jervis asks Shaw to shake his hand if he is as sweet as he says he is, but Shaw says "no" and attacks Jervis and Finch before hitting Jervis with Sweet Victory. After this, however, Shaw realizes he has laid Jervis out, but it is all a trick, and he tosses Jervis out of the ring before standing over him on the ring apron and sqaushing him with a Banzai Drop.

Viva Van beats Heather Monroe. During the match, Jamie Iovine pulls Cece Chanel off the ring apron before Halston Boddy attacks Heather Monroe from behind, allowing Viva Van to win with a suplex pin on Heather Monroe. After the match, Halston Boddy gives Viva Van a chair, which she hits Heather Monroe with before sitting in the chair and putting Heather in a Camel Clutch. Jamie Iovine and Halston Boddy have Viva Van sign the paperwork she has been carrying around, and Halston says that Jamie Iovine brought him to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, put him in charge of Heather winning the gold and has been the person he has worked with since day one. Iovine tells Halston he has performed phenomenally and that he will open "The Boddy Shop" with Viva Van as his first client.

"The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese beats Danny Burch. After the match, Tony Nese goes up to the commentary table and says that he should never have lost the Cruiserweight Championship, that he is the Cruiserweight Champion and that there should be no title tournament. After the commercial break, he is still there yelling at the announce team. It takes "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher running up to Tony Nese before the next match to get him to stop.

We hear from Jordan Devlin in footage from two days ago, who says that he will prove to whoever becomes interim Cruiserweight Champion that there is only one true Cruiserweight Champion.

"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher beats Oney Lorcan by disqualification. During the match, "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese shows back up with a steel chair to watch from ringside, but quickly attacks Gallagher with the steel chair. After the match, Lorcan attacks Nese, but is overpowered, and as Nese is about to strike Lorcan with the chair, Danny Burch runs into the ring to make the save.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for April 10, 2020

Braun Strowman shows up to start tonight's show. Strowman says that when opportunity knocks on the door, you answer it, and at WrestleMania, he knocked the door off its hinges, took everything Goldberg threw at him and put him down to become WWE Universal Champion. Suddenly, Shinsuke Nakamura shows up. Nakamura says "Knock, knock" in response to Strowman's statement about opportunity, and says that the last time he saw Strowman, he beat him. Strowman tells Nakamura to let him enjoy his night, as he might "knock, knock, knock" the crap out of him. Nakamura tells Strowman that the weak are the meek and that the strong eat. Strowman tells Nakamura he will get these hands later tonight. Suddenly, Cesaro tries to hit Strowman with a sneak attack, but Strowman pushes him out of the ring. When he turns around, Nakamura hits Strowman with a roundhouse kick and retreats.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).

Elias is on the balcony. After thanking everyone for inviting him to their homes tonight, he celebrates his victory against King Corbin at WrestleMania with a song called "Walk With The King."

Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville show up, saying that the footage from last week is doctored and that they just want the best for Mandy. Suddenly, Tucker shows up. Tucker says he has some pictures that Ziggler deserve to see, and shows pictures of Otis working out with Mandy Rose on the video screen before stating he and Ziggler have unfinished business after he tried to injure him last week.

They are soon interrupted in the middle of the first chorus by The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), who says that Pee Wee Herman has more street cred than Miz and Morrison as they want another shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Miz - who is still not medically cleared - and Morrison leave after a brief argument with The Usos, then The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) show up. Big E says that if one member of each team competed for the titles at WrestleMania, the other members should also have a chance to compete. Kofi then mentions that Big E, Jey Uso and The Miz will be in a Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) beat The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik) in their main roster debut.

Backstage, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross celebrate retaining the women's tag team titles when they are met by Dana Brooke and Carmella, who challenge them for the titles. Alexa and Nikki accept their challenge.

Sasha Banks and Bayley show up. After celebrating outsmarting Paige and keeping the SmackDown Women's Championship around Bayley's waist at WrestleMania, Bayley declares herself and Sasha "the ultimate role models" and tells the rest of the women's division "Screw you." Sasha says that nobody can understand their future and that nobody past, present or future can touch them, Suddenly, Tamina shows up. Bayley and Sasha try to patronizingly congratulate her on her return, but Tamina says it took everyone to eliminate her and tells Bayley to set an example and defend the title against her. Sasha tells Tamina there is a pecking order, and that she cannot just step up and make demands. Bayley then tells Tamina she can have her match if she can beat Sasha. Tamina accepts the challenge, then tells Sasha "Your bestie just screwed you."

He feels he can forgive him, but everyone else in the Firefly Fun House except for Ramblin' Rabbit feels otherwise. Bray says he will forgive Strowman if he says sorry, but Strowman says he is not in the mood to play games. Bray then says that Strowman's next lesson will be about sharing, and that he has the Universal Championship. He says that since he brought Strowman into WWE, he will have to take him out. Strowman tells Bray that he is ready to let him in any time he wants before mockingly saying goodbye to him.
