Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Hollywood recap for June 26, 2021

Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) beat Lazarus and Dan Joseph, with Dan Joseph having never tagged into the match. After the match, Guy Tweakacetti announces that "Heat Streak" will premiere next week and that he and Midnight Heat will have a big party.



"BHK" Kevin Martenson beats Darwin Finch by referee stoppage after knocking Darwin Finch out with a ground and pound. After the match, Martenson cannot believe what he has done to Darwin Finch.



Wasted Youth (Adriel Noctis and Sketch) are in the ring. Sketch says that with friendship and tag team partners, there are a lot of disagreements and fights. He feels he and Adriel Noctis have argued and fought way too much, and Adriel Noctis says that they have been together three years now. He admits that their fire has burned out of late, then says they can still rekindle that flame. Noctis produces Sketch's skateboard - the same one taken from him by Miguel - then hits him with it. Noctis then says there has been a lot of selfishness and greed, and tells Sketch that people love what he does for them, not him, and that he loves what Sketch has done for him before heading to the back.

Before the next match, Flex McCalleon tells Jack Cartwright to lay down, take the pin and make it easy on himself, but Cartwright takes the microphone and tells Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) to "chew on [his] Twizzler." Flex slaps Cartwright, and the match begins.

Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) quickly beat Jack Cartwright in a Candy-Cap Match. After the match, Cartwright gets "branded," then Flex tells Cartwright "Chew on that!"

Backstage, Emily Mae interviews The Yung GOATs (Zay Washington and Aaron Roberts). Zay Washington says their debut is a small piece of what they bring to the table and that they did not come here from Memphis for nothing. Aaron Roberts then tells The Bodega to put the United tag team titles on the line, and Washington says that they will be the new champs.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews The Bodega (Danny Limelight, "King FatBoy" Papo Esco, Slice Boogie), who tells them that The Yung GOATs (Zay Washington and Aaron Roberts) want their tag team titles. Danny Limelight says they are fighting champions, and Slice Bodega says he wants a piece of The Yung GOATs. After a game of rock-paper-scissors, Slice Boogie beats Danny Limelight and gets to team up with "King FatBoy" Papo Esco against The Yung GOATs.

Danny Limelight beats Honest John by submission.



Backstage, Jack Famer interviews Howdy Price and Levi Shapiro. Levi Shapiro says he is using his mental capacity to his fullest, and says that while Brett Michaels may have won the Cobra Cup, he is the United Television Champion and he will bring the title to Memphis to show what he can do up close and personal. Howdy Price says they will take the Television title worldwide, then says Brett Michaels does not scare them because he is not championship material and that they are a hand cannon compared to Michaels' pistol.

Cece Chanel and Ruby Raze beat Bryn Thorne and Viva Van.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Hollywood recap for April 24, 2021

At the start of the show, Honest John shows up to sell a pair of headphone as well as Todd Kenneley's cellphone to commentary.

Acting matchmaker Jamie Iovine, Cece Chanel, Viva Van and Halston Boddy head to the ring. Iovine says he has given a name to his pains in the past, and it is Heather Monroe, who he says is now gone. He says it will be a bright, sunshine-y day, then congratulates Halston Boddy for playing a two-year long game by putting Halston Boddy's name on Coastline Clash this year. Iovine then congratulates Viva Van on joining his family before releasing Cece Chanel from her servitude to him while keeping her under contract to the company, then says he is not good at letting go before commanding Viva Van to attack Chanel from behind.



Richie Slade beats Piranacanrana thanks to the distraction and interference from Flex McCalleon. After the match, Richie Slade takes the boots to Piranacanrana, and Flex McCalleon joins in. They then spray paint the letters "BC" on Piranacanrana's back, and Flex says this is the first of many brandings they will do.



Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Howdy Price and Levi Shapiro. Shapiro says there is no need for worry, for he is a tag team partner and Howdy Price has big plans. Howdy Price says all his plans need is settling. Honest John then shows up and tries to sell a pair of sunglasses and a brush, and Howdy Price tells Honest John they should talk.

Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) beat Action Jackson and Watson following the distraction from Guy Tweakacetti.



Mylo Matters beats Sandra Moon with an O'Connor Roll.



In footage from earlier today, Jack Famer interviews Darwin Finch, who announces that Gentleman Jervis has bruised and torn muscles and will be on the road to recovery, and if he has to hold up The Friendship Farm, he will do it. He says it will take a while for Gentleman Jervis to return, but he will be the one who will get him there.

It is announced that Jack Banning and "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater have been suspended by the United Wrestling Network until Coastline Clash, when they will face each other in a Last Man Standing Match. It is also announced that Ray Rosas is injured.

Jack Cartwright and Anthony Idol vs. Levi Shapiro and Honest John is a no-contest after Anthony Idol turns on Jack Cartwright and shakes hands with Howdy Price.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Hollywood recap for April 10, 2021

At the start of the show, acting matchmaker Jamie Iovine feels he got on the wrong foot with the fans a few weeks ago and says he is the matchmaker now, then says he is working for the fans to make the best show possible and is not doing this for his own . He announces that next week, Jordan Clearwater and Jack Banning will square off, and that Richie Slade will also defend the Hollywood Heritage Championship against EJ Sparks next week. As for today's show, there is a three-way match between Heather Monroe, Cece Chanel and Viva Van with Mylo Matters as special guest referee, and says that the United Television Championship is on the line right now.

Levi Shapiro retains the United Television Championship against Jack Cartwright after Howdy Price trips Cartwright off the top rope. Anthony Idol checks on Jack Cartwright after the match.



Guy Tweakacetti introduces 4 Minutes of Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) - now known as "The Midnight Heat" - before the next match.

The Midnight Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) beat Jordan Cruz and Keita Murray after Guy Tweakacetti stands on the ring apron, causing Cruz to inadvertently trip Murray off the top rope and allow The Midnight Heat to hit 4 Minutes to Midnight for the win.



In footage from earlier today, Ray Rosas says actions speak louder than words, then Dan Joseph shows up and says he has apologized, but Rosas tells Joseph he will have another moment, and says that if Joseph wants to make it right, he will meet him in the ring.

The Friendship Farm (Gentleman Jervis and Darwin Finch) head to the ring. Jervis states that he and Darwin Finch have asked "Sweet" Robin Shaw to come to the ring so they can talk out their differences. "Sweet" Robin Shaw shows up, and Jervis says he knows that Shaw is upset about how things ended up between them, and says that while there is a lot of anger and rage in him, he can be one of the best of all time if he can keep it in check. He also admits that while they have not won many matches, they have tried their hardest, and trying counts for something. He apologizes for not being an exemplary tag team partner, then tells Shaw that he is special, irreplacable and "one of us." Shaw says that he is indeed irreplacable, because he replaced Super Beetle and Finch replaced him, and when Super Beetle left, he was stuck with Jervis. He says that he is everything Jervis is not, and that he is "the world's sweetest man." Jervis asks Shaw to shake his hand if he is as sweet as he says he is, but Shaw says "no" and attacks Jervis and Finch before hitting Jervis with Sweet Victory. After this, however, Shaw realizes he has laid Jervis out, but it is all a trick, and he tosses Jervis out of the ring before standing over him on the ring apron and sqaushing him with a Banzai Drop.



Viva Van beats Heather Monroe. During the match, Jamie Iovine pulls Cece Chanel off the ring apron before Halston Boddy attacks Heather Monroe from behind, allowing Viva Van to win with a suplex pin on Heather Monroe. After the match, Halston Boddy gives Viva Van a chair, which she hits Heather Monroe with before sitting in the chair and putting Heather in a Camel Clutch. Jamie Iovine and Halston Boddy have Viva Van sign the paperwork she has been carrying around, and Halston says that Jamie Iovine brought him to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, put him in charge of Heather winning the gold and has been the person he has worked with since day one. Iovine tells Halston he has performed phenomenally and that he will open "The Boddy Shop" with Viva Van as his first client.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Hollywood recap for March 27, 2021

Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) guest on commentary for the next match. Flex McCalleon says he and Richie Slade have been back home tanning since the Episode 500 spectacular, and Slade insists be called "the succulent Hollywood Heritage Champion."

EJ Sparks beats Honest John with the Spark-Out after Honest John feigns a knee injury to hit Sparks with a cheap shot. After the match, Sparks tells Beef Candy he can hear him from the ring talking about him and trying to act funny, and challenges Richie Slade for the Hollywood Heritage Championship. Richie Slade says that Sparks is dreaming, and that he is not as good as he is and will not be Heritage champ. EJ Sparks says "I think you just accepted my challenge, buddy."



"Sweet" Robin Shaw beats Darwin Finch. After the match, Shaw says he just proved that he has gone scorched earth on The Friendship Farm. He says that friendship is dead to him and that he is not replaceable.



Heather Monroe vs. Viva Van ends in a no-contest. During the match, Jamie Iovine shows up with Cece Chanel and his friend from the office - whose names is Tweak - and ends the match. Iovine attributes much of Heather's success to The Upper Class, and asks Heather what makes her think that she deserves the gold. When Heather confronts Iovine, Iovine sics Chanel on her, who reluctantly attacks Heather and screams at Iovine. Iovine then gives Viva Van the choice of joining him or ending up like Heather.



Backstage, Jamie Iovine and Tweak are suddenly met in the office by 4 Minutes of Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl). Pearls says he and Gibson will do anything for a tag team title shot. Iovine says he will give them a title shot if they make Tweak their manager. Eddie Pearl is reluctant, but Ricky Gibson accepts, after Iovine says that if they win, they will get more opportunities and Tweak may become their manager full-time.

Anthony Idol and Jack Cartwright beat Levi Shapiro and Howdy Price following a top rope moonsault press from Cartwright to Shapiro.



Ray Rosas retains the Arizona State Championship by disqualification against Dan Joseph after Joseph toses Rosas over the top rope. After the match, Joseph loses his cool and walks to the back with the Arizona State Championship.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle for December 12, 2020

The Bodega (Danny "Limelight" Rivera and "King FatBoy" Papo Esco) run into Jamie Iovine backstage. Danny "Limelight" Rivera demand a title shot before the 500th episode. One call to Nikko Marquez later, it is done.



"The Western Roughneck" Jesse James beats Dan Joseph in a knock-down, drag-out match after using the middle rope for leverage in the corner.



Richie Slade beats Jack Cartwright with the Candy Clutch after Flex McCalleon pushes Cartwright off the top rope as the referee is distracted. After the match, Flex McCalleon and Richie Slade gang up on Jack Cartwright, but when "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater shows up, they both remind him that he can't get physical with Slade. Anthony Idol soon shows up to make the save.



We see another vignette for Jack Banning, who says the battle has always been between the haves and the have-nots, and that he refuses to be a bottom-feeder any longer.



Outside of the arena, Heather Monroe has to snap Halston Boddy to his senses as he stresses about their mixed tag match. After this, the training montage begins. In a wrestling ring at an undisclosed location, the training begins with some squats. Some time later, Halston Boddy makes some progress, but is still struggling. Heather Monroe has an idea, but it will not be known until next week.



Snypes beats Keita Murray.



The Bodega (Danny "Limelight" Rivera and "King FatBoy" Papo Esco) beat SoCal Distancing (Andy Brown and Dom Kubrick, the latter of whom was the mysterious masked man from two weeks ago) to win the United Tag Team Championships! During the match, Andy Brown kicks the referee in the jaw, knocking him out. This leads to SoCal Distancing getting the upper hand, but as Dom Kubrick is about to finish off Danny Limelight, the arena lights fade into darkness before coming back on. When they do, Ray Rosas is in a referee's outfit and a mask, and he fends off Kubrick and Brown. Miguel suddenly shows up and overpowers Rosas, but "BHK" Kevin Martenson shows up and attacks Miguel, and he and Rosas fight off Miguel. As this happens, SoCal Distancing's mysterious masked leader shows up with a crowbar and takes out Rosas and BHK, but when he enters the ring to attack Limelight, Slice Boogie runs into the ring, lays him out and lays out Andy Brown with the crowbar before getting out of the ring. The referee for the match has come to at this point, and he makes the three-count to crown The Bodega as United Tag Team Champions.



Next week: "The Main Event, Mr. All Damn Day" Will Allday vs. "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater for the Hollywood Heritage Championship!

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for December 5, 2020

At the start of the show, Jon Roberts interviews Ray Rosas, who says it is really difficult to hold things together when one's own playbook is used against them, and while he deserves it, Jordan Clearwater deserved a clean win. He considers himself a tape-watcher and says he had SoCal Distancing accounted for except for one new member, and he is about to administer the cure in the form of Ray Rosas because he is not going anywhere. Rosas then dares SoCal Distancing to show him what they've got.



Dustin Starr announces that Maria Starr will be returning to the show very soon. He also announces that Dom Kubrick is the mystery man behind the mask from last week.

Before the next match, Halston Boddy and Heather Monroe confront CeCe Chanel for attacking them during the Halloween episode a few weeks ago. CeCe explains herself, but Boddy doesn't want to hear it and Heather demands an apology. Suddenly, Jamie Iovine shows up, then tells Halston Boddy has forgotten where he has come from after not calling him for a year, and while that is water under the bridge, he has Ruby Raze attack Heather Monroe from behind, saying it hurt coming from her. Iovine then makes a tag team match between the team of CeCe and Ruby and the team of Heather and Halston Boddy, and if Halston and Heather lose, there will be no United Women's Championship.



Clint Armstrong interviews Levi Shapiro and Howdy Price. Howdy says EJ Sparks wishes he could be on their level and be the Television Champion, and will wish he never faced Shapiro. Shapiro says Sparks may be Phoenix's favorite son, but he will bring an unforgettable loss back to Phoenix, Arizona.



"The Western Roughneck" Jesse James beats Jack Cartwright. After the match, Jesse James attacks Jack Cartwright and tells him he doesn't like him or anything about him. He then hits Cartwright with another lariat, then runs away after Anthony Idol chases him out of the ring.



John Roberts interviews Beef Candy (Ritchie Slade and Flex McCalleon). Ritchie Slade says he needed treatment after "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater hit him in the face, and Flex McCalleon says Clearwater is stupid enough to introduce a "no-touch" clause before their match. He then tells Clearwater that he will have to get in line, as Beef Candy (Slade and McCalleon) will get the win.



Before the next match, Anthony Idol says it is a long way to the top in pro wrestling and that Jack Cartwright reached out to him for help, and after how he started in professional wrestling without someone for help, he wants to reach out to younger talent.



Anthony Idol beats Cameron Cole - now known as "Cam" - with the Idol Overdrive despite being poked in the eyes.



We see another vignette for Jack Banning, who says that nobody is meant for anything or belongs anywhere, and that he has some hard pills to swallow for anybody who believes they belong on top.



Snypes beats Slice Boogie after Slice Boogie's right leg gives out on him during the match.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Heather Monroe and Halston Boddy, whose recently announced match will be on the 500th Episode Spectacular. Heather says she did not think Nikko Marquez would stoop so low. Papo Esco tells Slice Boogie that they know how Slice Boogie fights and tells him that he can keep playing the nice guy on his own or he can join up with them for protection.



Levi Shapiro retains the United Television Championship against EJ Sparks after Howdy Price loads Shapiro's glove on the outside.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for November 7, 2020

Clark Conners beats "Platinum" Max Caster with a double leg crab. After the match, John Roberts interviews Connors, Connors says it is all in the training with him and that wherever he goes, he will break his opponents because he is here to stay.



Anthony Idol beats Jordan Cruz.



We see some highlights from last week's Drive-In Spooktacular.



We hear from Danny "Limelight" Rivera, who says that he has been a main event player since day one, and that he is coming back with "King FatBoy" Papo Esco, who says you can get anything you need - including a beatdown - in the bodega in a vignette for The Bodega (Rivera and Esco).



"Sweet" Robin Shaw beats VSK.



It is announced that Levi Shapiro will defend the United Television Championship this week against Jack Cartwright.

Backstage, Clint Armstrong interviews Dan Joseph, who says that he feels great and knows that Shapiro kept getting chance after chance just to cheat, but he has his rematch and new rules to play by.



Jordan Clearwater beats Snypes despite Snypes weakening one of his legs. After the match, Clint Armstrong interviews Clearwater, who tells Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) that he saw what he did and took advantage of an opportunity only to run and hide, then says he is no coward, calls them out and promises he will follow them if they run and hide.



Ray Rosas retains the Arizona State Championship against EJ Sparks by disqualification after Adrian Quest and Andy Brown appear and Brown pushes Rosas off the top rope. After the match, Sparks wants to fight Brown and Quest, who walk away.





Miguel suddenly shows up and tells Watts that he owes him one after starting this fire, and next week, he wants to see if Watts shows up and handles the smoke.



Before the next match, Howdy Price takes Jack Cartwright to the side at the stage and bribes him backstage with an envelope with money in it. Cartwright takes the envelope with him on the way to the ring.



Levi Shapiro retains the United Television Championship against Jack Cartwright with the claw after Cartwright lays down for Shapiro. After the match, Shapiro and Howdy Price attack Cartwright, and Howdy takes the money away.



The show ends with a sudden announcement from SoCal Distancing (???, Adrian Quest, Andy Brown). Their masked leader says that they are everywhere and administering the vaccine to you from the screen to the ring to the locker room to the UWN boardroom.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for October 17, 2020

"The Western Roughneck" Jesse James beats Jack Cartwright.



Backstage, Nikko Marquez heads to the women's locker room to apologize, but Halston Boddy shows up and does not trust him. Nikko Marquez says he has contracts for everyone to sign which includes a $500 contract. Cece Chanel signs hers, but everyone else is hesitant.



"The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson beats Patrick Fitzpatrick.



Flex McCalleon introduces Richie Slade before the next match.



EJ Sparks beats Richie Slade by disqualifcation after Flex McCalleon gets physically involved. After the match, Slade and McCalleon attack Sparks until "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater shows up with a steel chair.





Cece Chanel beats Sandra Moone with the Fujiwara Arm Bar.



Levi Shapiro beats Dan Joseph to become the United Television Champion! During the match, Joseph hits Shapiro with the Wrong Way Down, then Howdy Price distracts the referee. Shapiro hits Joseph with a low blow behind the referee's back, then Howdy Price slips a foreign object to Shapiro to place in his glove. Shapiro knocks Joseph out, then applies the claw to win the title.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for October 3, 2020

The show starts with David Marquez, who says that he wears a lot of hats on the show and that he is also a father, and he understands his responsibilities coming in each week. He apologizes for the riot that Nikko Marquez - who has been arrested - started last week, and that Nikko will have a statement later today, which he is ready to hear. He thanks the fans for trusting them in their living room, then the show starts.



Will Allday beats Jose Santiago. After the match, John Roberts interviews Allday, who says that since he has returned, he has gotten nothing but disrespect after being screwed out of a championship by Ray Rosas. He says he has been in more main events than anyone, and that he is the main event.



We hear from Ray Rosas, who says that there is no major permanent damage done to his spine. Before he can say the bad news, SoCal Distancing (???, Andy Brown, Adrian Quest) hijacks the rest of the video message.



Frankie Frank is in the ring. Before he can sing, Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCallion) show up. Flex McCallion makes fun of Frankie's beard and hair, and says that this is why he and Richie Slade have banded together to exterminate "aesthetic disruptions" like Frankie.



Richie Slade beats Frankie Frank after Flex McCallion hits Frankie Frank with a bottle of hairspray from the outside.

We hear from Nikko Marquez, who simply says "I'm sorry," before stating that he has hired bodyguards and that the women's division is cancelled with immediate effect. He and the bodyguard next to him then leave hurriedly.



Clark Connors and Slice Boogie beat The Friendship Farm (Gentleman Jervis and "Sweet" Robin Shaw). After the match, John Roberts interviews The Friendship Farm. Shaw is knocked so much for a loop that he can't tell if they lost, and Jervis says that while kindness is difficult, it must be maintained in order to not lose everything. Suddenly, Anthony Idol shows up all of a sudden to remind everyone in the back that he still works in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.



Backstage, Nikko Marquez runs away from the women's division and flees in the back of a car.



Jordan Clearwater beats Jack Cartwright with the Midas Touch after Cartwright misses a handspring back elbow into the corner.



EJ Sparks and Dan Joseph beat Danny "Limelight" Rivera and "King FatBoy" Papo Esco, now known as "The Bodega."



The show ends with the Ray Rosas video being replayed only for SoCal Distancing (???, Andy Brown, Adrian Quest) to interrupt it again.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for September 19, 2020

"BHK" Kevin Martenson beats Danny "Limelight" Rivera with the Rat Trap. (Martenson goes by both his Rocknes Monsters and Vermin names, as Vermin is effectively gone from Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is gone now.)



Backstage, Danny "Limelight' Rivera meets "King Fatboy" Papo Esco, who tells Rivera that he is here in CWFH now and that he must fall down and get back up at times. He also says that Rivera won't be losing anymore.



Backstage, David Marquez interviews a man named Miguel, a lifelong friend of Watts. He says he has known Watts for a long time and is more worried about Watts than anyone. He says Watts owes him one, and asks him to come to the show next week.



EJ Sparks beats Jack Cartwright with the Spark-Out.



David Marquez interviews Will Allday, who says he has beaten Ray Rosas once and he can do it again. He says that Ray has a shiny badge and there is a new sheriff in town, and tells him to hand his badge over or else he will take him out to pasture.



We hear from Nikko Marquez, who is wearing a bandage over his head. He mentions Heather Monroe's attack on him, and says he has not sanctioned any women's matches since then and has consulted his legal team before taking further action. He thanks the fans for joining him, and announces the rematch for the Hollywood Heritage Championship between Will Allday and Ray Rosas.



In a match sanctioned by interim matchmakers, Vipress beats Cece Chanel with the Poison Apple.



Backstage, David Marquez interviews Heather Monroe and Halston Boddy. Heather says that her hand is broken after Nikko made her punch him, and that Nikko will not destroy the women's division she helped build up. Halston Boddy says that Nikko will not get his wish to destroy the women's division and that they have some unfinished business with Lacey Ryan, and they will take care of it next week.



Clark Connors and Dicky Mayer beat 4 Minutes of Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) after Mayer hits a jumping knee to the back of Pearl's neck as Connors has Pearl in a Boston Crab.



We hear from Blake "Bulletproof" Troop and Jordan Clearwater. Clearwater says he is set on his goals and that he is not the same man he was before, and Troop says he is getting stronger, faster and better. It is then announced that Clearwater will return to action next week.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for September 12, 2020

Cece Chanel vs. Vipress ends with Nikko Marquez calling for the bell and kicking both wrestlers and the referee out of the ring. After the match, Nikko Marquez says the match is done, then Heather Monroe and Halston Boddy show up. Halston calls Nikko "Discount Marquez," as he says that Nikko acts like he runs the place. Nikko says he does and that his name is on the bottom of his checks, then shoves Boddy. Nikko says "the adults are talking" when Heather Monroe interjects, and the argument soon escalates between Halston Boddy and Nikko Marquez as Halston defends Heather Monroe. When Nikko pokes Halston, Heather kicks Nikko Marquez in the head. Referees show up as Heather gives Nikko the ground-and-pound, and Halston Boddy tells Nikko "That's what you get, Marquez!"





Clark Connors beats Jack Cartwright with a Spear followed by a Boston Crab after Cartwright misses big on a top rope corkscrew moonsault.



We see "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater, who has been training with Blake "Bulletrpoof" Troop in his quest to be the best in the CWFH locker room. Troop says that Clearwater has improved and will soon become "the gold standard."



Backstage, John Roberts is waiting to interview Watts, then Halston Boddy shows up. Boddy says that Nikko Marquez is power-hungry and that as long as he and Heather Monroe are here, Nikko Marquez will not mess with the women's division.



Danny "Limelight" Rivera vs. Slice Boogie ends in a time limit draw. After the match, Rivera wants Slice Boogie back in the ring, but Slice Boogie wants none of it.



4 Minutes of Heat ("Rock God" Ricky Gibson and "Freak Nasty" Eddie Pearl) beat The Friendship Farm (Gentleman Jervis and "Sweet" Robin Shaw) with a double-team DDT to "Sweet" Robin Shaw after repeatedly targeting Shaw's legs.



We see a man wearing a facemask. He brings out Adrian Quest and Andy Brown, and says he has given them a purpose and cure the sickness that is "SoCal wrestling" and make the decisions they cannot trust the fans to make. He says they are "SoCal Distancing" and that they will not keep their distance as they tear Southern California wrestling apart and piece it back together into something new.



Will Allday vs. Ray Rosas for the Hollywood Heritage Championship ends with SoCal Distancing (???, Adrian Quest, Andy Brown) showing up on the video screen. The mysterious masked ringleader gets Rosas' attention, and commands Adrian Quest to toss the PP3 Cup into the ocean behind them before telling Rosas "Welcome to the new normal."

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for September 5, 2020

It is announced at the start of this show is an all-new episode with all-new action for the first time in five months.

John Roberts interviews Watts in the ring. Watts says he is feeling great and positive, as he likes the direction he has taken the Hollywood Heritage Championship and is issuing an open challenge for the belt right here, right now. Anthony Idol shows up in street clothes to answer, but Ray Rosas runs past him, answering the challenge first.

Ray Rosas beats Watts with a counter into an O'Connor Roll to become the Hollywood Heritage Champion! After the match, Watts is speechless as John Roberts tries to interview him to the back.

Backstage, David Marquez interviews Nikko Marquez. The two of them argue about current events, with Nikko saying that the current world situation isn't real and that the women's division is out of control following the last match between Lacey Ryan and Heath Monroe when Halston Boddy shows up to throw in his two cents. Suddenly, Nikko says that maybe CWFH from Hollywood doesn't need a women's division, Halston Boddy tries to talk some sense into Nikko. Suddenly, it is revealed that Watts is suddenly enraged backstage on his way out.



The Friendship Farm (Gentleman Jervis and "Sweet" Robin Shaw) beat Jose Santiago and Jack Cartwright after Jervis is monkey flipped into the corner and is able to tag in Shaw, who hits Sweet Victory for the win.



Before the next match, Frankie Frank is about to sing a song when "King FatBoy" Papo Esco shows up to make his CWFH debut.

"King FatBoy" Papo Esco beats Frankie Frank.



Backstage, John Roberts interviews Ray Rosas, who is approached by Adrian Quest and Andy Brown. Brown tells him that the three of them still have a match later.



Dan Joseph retains the United Television Championship against EJ Sparks. After the match, John Roberts interviews Joseph, who says he was waiting months for competition and got it in the form of EJ Sparks. He then says he will be at UWN Primetime Live on September 15th.



It is announced that women's division action will return next week.

Will Allday, Danny "Limelight" Rivera and Clark Connors beat STATiC (Ray Rosas, Andy Brown, Adrian Quest) with a schoolkid pin from Allday to Rosas after Brown and Quest turn against Rosas and refuse to tag him out. After the match, Quest and Brown attack Rosas, and Brown chokes Rosas with a belt before shoving his face into the front plate of the Hollywood Heritage Championship.
