Orton says that he is now listening to the voices again and that he cannot be held responsible for what happens next; he says that his voices are not the problem, but everyone else's voices. Orton then states that there is one person outside of his head that he is listening to. All of a sudden, Matt Cardona shows up and strikes Orton in the head with the microphone in his hand.

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) show up before the next match. Rhea Ripley heads to the ring. Rhea says she never expected any integrity from Jade Cargill, as she was fully under the impression to do whatever it took to not get her hands dirty. She did not, however, expect B-Fab and "Michin" Mia Yim to be desperate enough to stoop down to Cargill's level. She says that if they want to play that game, that is fine, as it is WrestleMania season and she does not care who she has to go through to get there. Rhea says she is dressed for any occasion, and dares Michin, Cargill and B-Fab to join her. Jade Cargill shows up, as does Michin and B-Fab, and Cargill says Rhea sounds real slick for someone who got dropped last week, and says that Michin and B-Fab did not join her; instead, they positioned themselves in power. B-Fab calls Rhea "a selfish backstabber" who does not care who puts in the work as long as she gets the rewards, and Michin says she has been grinding for decades just like Rhea, and while she and B-Fab are forgotten, Rhea gets all the love and attention. Cargill then says that Rhea can be their guest if she wants her ass kicked, then says that they spoke with General Manager Nick Aldis and that B-Fab has offered to step up, and that Rhea will learn tonight. He asks McIntyre what is wrong with him after trying to take him out, end his career and take food off his family's table. He says that kicking his teeth down his throat, hitting his head with the WWE Championship, hitting him with a car and even tossing him off the side of a building was not going to keep him down, and that he is still standing. Jacob says that as long as he has air in his lungs, he will dog walk McIntyre ever week. McIntyre shows up and says he is the victim, not Jacob, and that Jacob started this when he accused him of a crime he did not commit, saying that he is guilty until proven innocent and that Jacob is straight guilty because he is a criminal. He says that Jacob Fatu stole everything from him, then says "Screw your damn kids." General Manager Nick Aldis intervenes, saying neither man is in any condition to beat each other up tonight until WrestleMania, when they finally square off one-on-one. It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guests are Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus. When asks why she could not deal with Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) alone and had to call in reinforcement, Becky says that she is "The Man" much like The Miz is "an insecure man with notoriously tiny balls." After Miz says his balls are massive and that Maryse can verify, Miz says Maryse did not get around much before him, then talks about how Damage CTRL put her on the shelf and how she planned on ending them only for them to come back. Becky admits she does not work well with other people, but there are people she respects, and when they fight for her, she fights for them. When asked why she is making her return now to help out Becky, Lita says she feels more like half of the women's tag team champions rather than back-up, then Damage CTRL shows up as Lita says she has felt the best. Bayley says she is sick and tired of Becky, Lita and Trish acting like their match is another match when this match is Damage CTRL's life and Lita and Trish only meant something twenty years ago. After Trish says Lita means something right now with championship gold, Bayley says their match could have been a dream match in the past, it is now a different dream, as Damage CTRL's dream is to take out the top woman in WWE and two Hall of Famers. Becky tells Bayley that they have been doing nothing and that Iyo and Dakota have been acting as nothing but Bayley's flunkies, and since they could not end this in recent months, they will end it at WrestleMania.

Theory states Cena wants everyone to believe that nobody believes in him, but he only does this for himself because he had a purpose before anyone had an opinion about him. He says it is sad that he would have let Cena go down the hero, but Cena had to make it personal, and that it will be fitting when Cena looks up to him when he makes Cena believe in him and makes the fans stop believing in him.

Cole states that he outlasted four of NXT's very best last week and earned the right to face Johnny Gargano for the vacant NXT Championship, and while he could give a million reasons for why he will be champion, he wants Gargano to come to the ring. Gargano shows up and meets Cole in the ring, and sits on the top turnbuckle as dueling fan chants fill the arena. The chants end after Cole yells that he needs no support and can win the title on his own and Gargano states that he loves the chants. Gargano then demands Cole list off all the reasons that Cole knows he will beat him, then demands the fans get their cameras out as NXT history is being made because Cole is at a loss for words. He then asks Cole if he knows that he is in the fight of his life, as Gargano states that his path ends at the NXT Championship and that his path goes through Cole, who will find out why he is called "Johnny Takeover." Cole is interrupted by "Johnny Takeover," then implies that the nickname does not intimidate him as Gargano has not been in the winner's circle at TakeOver and that "Johnny Participation" is more fitting. He states that Gargano cannot beat him in one fall, much less two, because he become the first-ever North American Champion, first-ever War Games Match winner and winner of his debut match all at TakeOver events, and plans to repeat history with a NXT title win. Cole claims that he earned all of his accolades, and asks what Gargano has done to earn a championship match. Gargano admits he didn't get the red carpet rolled out for him like Cole did, and that he was initially told he wasn't good enough to be in NXT. He talks about how he fought for his one chance - which he got in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic while thrown into a tag team with Tommaso Ciampa - and fought for his life alongside Ciampa to make it. After the tournament, a month passed with no response, but he was suddenly invited back again and again, because every time he showed up, he poured his heart out in the ring and fought so hard that the fans chanted for him. The louder they chanted, the harder he fought for a chance in NXT, as the fans fought for him and he fought for them back to defy the odds and earn his NXT contract and all of his accolades here. Gargano states he earned everything he could here because NXT is his life, and that he was not "handed a top spot in a group of cronies who fought for [him] since day one," and he would not change a thing. He then states he will fight to make his dream come true, fulfill his destiny and finally become NXT Champion. Cole leaves, then turns back and tells Gargano that he can fight all he wants, but he will become the NXT Champion in the end because the win will not be definitive according to WWE CEO and NXT founder Triple H, but undisputed as Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong stand at the top of the ramp.

Afterwards, he couldn't help but notice "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks play the hero and "imitate British wrestling." Barthel says there is more to NXT UK than the fans think to the point that he considers NXT UK sacred.

Mark Andrews vs. Noam Dar ends in a no-contest when neither man can continue. During the match, one of Andrews' knees is injured following a knee bar shortly after being tossed into steel steps on the outside, and when he goes for a reverse hurricanrana, he slips and Dar's knee is potential re-injured. Walter moves the microphone when asked if he has anything to say at this time, and simply signs the contract for the match. Dunne tells Walter he doesn't have to say anything, as it is not just the fans who want this match, for he wants the match as well. He claims that Walter will know what everyone else has known for the past 674 days: that NXT UK belongs to him and that the WWE United Kingdom Championship is and always will be his. He then signs the contract. As Dunne walks away, Walter addresses him on the microphone, and says something to him in German before saying he could put him through the table in the ring right now if he wanted to, but he does not need to do that to prove his point. He tells Dunne his time is up, and in New York City, the reign of the Bruiserweight will end, for the title is his.

The show starts with a video package of the news of Daniel Bryan being medically cleared for in-ring competition as well as how he handled the news. The video package also chronicles Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's attack on Daniel Bryan.

Before the next match, Jinder Mahal says that due to Bobby Roode and Randy Orton's attack on Sunil Singh, Sunil cannot compete tonight. However, he has a new tag team partner and has traded a tiger for a lion. That new partner is Rusev.

Jinder Mahal and Rusev beat Bobby Roode and Randy Orton after Rusev hits Orton with a Matchka Kick after Jinder pushes Roode into Orton, leading Orton to hit Roode with an RKO prior to the Matchka Kick.

Backstage, Jinder Mahal and Sunil Sign find Rusev and thank him for their victory. Jinder asks Rusev to come to WrestleMania so he can sit front row and be part of his United States title celebration. Rusev has a better idea, however: he proposes going to General Manager Daniel Bryan to get into the United States title match, turning it from a Triple Threat Match to a Fatal 4-Way. Jinder is peeved.

In the locker room, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles is met by "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura asks if AJ is okay, saying that AJ has lost his confidence. Nakamura knows that each man wants the other at their best at WrestleMania, and tells Styles he needs him in his corner. Styles says Chad Gable will be nearby with Shelton Benjamin in the ring. He also tells Nakamura that he will be in his corner to make sure their dream match happens at WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch beats Ruby Riott with a roll-up. After the match, The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) attacks Becky Lynch, but Becky is able to fight them off single-handedly.

General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up. Instead of heading to the ring, Daniel Bryan stays on the stage. Daniel Bryan admits he loves being in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He talks about how last week was one of the greatest moments in his career when he was finally medically cleared after two years. Daniel almost talks about the support that he has gotten from the fans, but says he has a job to do. He has said in the past that SmackDown Live is the land of opportunities, and he has decided to give Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn one more opportunity. He then says it will be just one. Daniel Bryan proposes that they face him and Commissioner Shane McMahon in a tag team match at WrestleMania. Due to the complications from Kevin and Sami's attack, Shane has been hospitalized, but he is confident that Shane will be ready to go. Daniel then says that if he and Shane win, Kevin and Sami will remain fired. However, if Kevin and Sami win, they will be reinstated to SmackDown Live. Daniel then says Kevin and Sami have been given so many opportunity because Daniel believes they are two of the greatest performers of this generation and because he has known them for so long and they have done so much for each other in the past. He also says that this is his job as General Manager, and that he does this for all in the SmackDown Live roster. He also has a lot of jobs as General Manager, such as sitting in meetings, filling out paperwork and dealing with a dress code. Daniel then says he is sick of meetings, paperwork and especially wearing blazers and cardigans, because he thought that for three years, his dream to get back in the ring and wrestle was gone, and Kevin and Sami tried to take it away when he got it back. He then says that no matter what anybody does to him, he is back and he is wrestling at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan then says there are things that he has tried to avoid saying for many reasons, but he has fought for his dreams and he is going to WrestleMania and kick Kevin and Sami's asses.

We hear from Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable. Shelton says he is neither a rock star or an artist; he is an athlete. Gable says they are the best athletes in WWE and that they don't have a WrestleMania match. Gable says if you don't have it, you make it happen. Shelton says he will tear it up against Nakamura tonight.

It is announced that Charlotte Flair will not be in tonight's Mixed Match Challenge match, and that there will be a replacement for Charlotte later tonight.

Rusev is officialy in the WWE United States Championship match at WrestleMania.

Before the next match, Big E talks about how The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods)were sitting pretty on the road to WrestleMania only to find out that the road was littered with trash. Kofi says one could say the road was bludgeoned with trash, and that those pieces of trash they are talking about are The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan). Xavier Woods says The New Day have adopted that highway, and that regardless of what The Bludgeon Brothers did to them, they are still standing and able to walk. Tonight, they will walk through them on the path to take back the SmackDown tag team titles.

The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) vs. The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) ends when The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) run in and attack The Bludgeon Brothers. After The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) clean house, The New Day and The Usos argue with one another, but they are all forced to flee the ring when The Bludgeon Brothers run in with their hammers.

It is announced that Sami Zayn has just accepted Daniel Bryan's challenge on behalf of himself and Kevin Owens on Twitter. It is also announced that Commissioner Shane McMahon has been suffering from a hernia after Sami and Kevin's attack, and that he has recently been discharged from the hospital.

It is announced that Charlotte Flair will be replaced as Bobby Roode's partner on this week's Mixed Match Challenge by Facebook fan vote, and that Becky Lynch, Lana and Carmella are the three possible choices.

We look back on Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 3, courtesy of Snickers.

It is announced that The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) will be defending the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against both The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) and The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) at WrestleMania.

"The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura - with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in his corner - beats Shelton Benjamin. After the match, Nakamura asks Styles to join him in the ring. Styles joins him. Nakamura thanks Styles for being in his corner, then says he never needed his help and only wanted him to see how he would beat him at WrestleMania. Styles tells Nakamura that at WrestleMania that he will not be playing games, as this is as much of a dream match for him as it is for the fans, as he and Nakamura will tear the house down. He then says his dream match will go down a little differently, with him beating Nakamura to prove that he is the better man. Nakamura tells Styles that he is too emotional, and because of that, he will beat him at WrestleMania. As Nakamura leaves, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin attack Styles from behind, and Nakamura has to make the save. Nakamura readies the Kinshasa as Styles gets up, but Nakamura stops just short of hitting him and simply says to him "Knee...to...face."

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
