205:Alive - 205 Live recap for March 27, 2018

General Manager Drake Maverick guests on commentary this week.

Mark Andrews beats "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese. Drew Gulak is seen watching from backstage during the match. After the match, Mark Andrews asks General Manager Drake Maverick for a match with Drew Gulak, and Maverick gives it to him for next week.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Drew Gulak backstage. Gulak admits Mark Andrews is a tremendous high-flyer, but asks why he is on 205 Live and says him beating Andrews sent a statement. He also says he is the best submission specialist in the WWE, and it is about defeat; it is about giving up and submitting. He plans on making Mark Andrews tap out next week.

General Manager Drake Maverick moderates a face-to-face meeting between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali. Both men remember watching last year's WrestleMania in a skybox watching The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) return, and now they are facing each other for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Mustafa Ali says that Cedric is writing a beautiful story, but his pen always seems to run out of ink, while he is writing his own story, too. Mustafa says his story ends with him holding up the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and asks Cedric what he is willing to do to change the story. Cedric says he will sacrifice his body and livelihood to win the title, even if he has to stomp out Mustafa Ali's heart. Mustafa tells him that is exactly what he will have to do. Both men then shake hands.

Buddy Murphy beats TJP, Kalisto and Akira Tozawa in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
