Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for December 14, 2025

We hear from Jordan Castle and "One in a Million" Maximilien. Jordan Castle says that a ten-month prophecy will come to pass when Maximilien becomes the Heritage Champion and proves that he is the best thing Championship Wrestling has going. He then tells "Poppin'" EJ Sparks that the only head that he should be worried about is his own when it gets ripped off.

Che Cabrera beats Luster the Legend.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto is on the phone when he is interrupted by The Evantourage ("Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Bryce Saturn, Damian Desire). Bryce Saturn says that they are on a roll, and Evan Daniels says that they have more in store for 2026 in the form of championship gold. Loquasto proposes putting Bryce Saturn and Damian Desire in a match against each other to see who should be #1 contender for a singles title, and while The Evantourage are irritated at first, they go with it, and even have Loquasto leave this time.

We see Marti Belle vs. Big Mama for the UWN Women's Championship from Gotham Wrestling.

Backstage, Alex Gracia makes fun of Jonny Loquasto before demanding her Women's Championship match against Big Mama, saying that Big Mama is scared of her and that it is her time. She says that she has beaten the locker room and that she wants her title match.

"One in a Million" Maximilien beats "Poppin'" EJ Sparks by submission with the Max Factor to become the UWN Heritage Champion!

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for November 9, 2025

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Brandon Cutler. Cutler says he will bring the anger from his first loss as "The Dragon" to his match with Bateman, then demands Bateman bring his anger, too. Cutler says that failure is no longer an option and that he will fight fire with fire.

Backstage, Jordan Cruz is angry with Jonny Loquasto regarding Javi calling him a punk and a bully. Loquasto says the contract has been signed and he must face Javi. He demands another opponent, as he will defend the title against the best, but he will not defend his title against Javi. Loquasto threatens to ban The Epic from ringside from his match, then Javi shows up and says he will see Cruz next week. The Epic punches Javi, starting a brawl security has to break up.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Bateman, who says he has stood in the ring against gods and monsters and has not backed down. He wants Brandon Cutler, who is angry about his first loss, to spread his wings and breathe fire, and if Cutler says he will show no quarter, he will give none. He says Cutler has been put down once, and that he will be the next to do it.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Nina, who gets jumped by Alex Gracia the moment she says Gracia's name. Referees have to keep them apart.

"El Espiritu" Fidel Bravo and "Poppin'" EJ Sparks beat José the Assassin and "One in a Million" Maximilien after Jordan Castle pulls Maximilen out of the ring after Sparks hits Maximilien with Plus Ultra.

We hear from Delirium (Slade and McCallion). They state that the tag team division is not ready and that all they need is the bell to ring.

Mathias beats Koto Hiro. After the match, Jack Farmer interviews Mathias. Mathias says he is "a six-foot, 240 lb. ass kicking machine" who is built better and here to beat the best.

We see footage of Jake Redondo vs. Leo Sparrow in Gotham Wrestling.

Brandon Cutler beats Bateman with a roll-up with the legs crossed after Bateman misses a knee drop out of the corner and his knee gives out.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for October 12, 2025

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Jose the Assassin. Jose says he has watched "Poppin'" EJ Sparks' career and says he has plateaued as a champion and does not have what it takes to be a wrestling superstar. Sparks shows up and confronts Jose and demands respect on his name and his championship while threatening to knock his teeth down his throat.

Big Mama vs. KJ Rockett from Memphis Wrestling is replayed.

Backstage, we hear from The Evantourage ("Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Damian Desire, Bryce Saturn). Damian Desire states that Evan Daniels slayed a dragon, and Daniels says he was the first to do so. He says that Brandon Cutler is just a man while he is a star and still Television Champion, then lists a who's who of who he has defeated before stating that his next opponent is Fidel Bravo. The Evantourage laugh, then says he has things to do and people to see and that he will get the job done, just like how Desire and Bryce Saturn will get the job done. Saturn says that they will make a mockery out of G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine)

G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine) beat Transcendence (Damian Desire and Bryce Saturn).

We hear from Delirium (Slade, McCallion, The Master Amir). The Master Amir says that shadows shift, pressure builds, and in the silence, they will listen. Slade and McCallion state that they will turn everyone's dreams into dirt, then The Master Amir sics them on the tag team division and states that they will know that this was always prophecy.

Halex beats Joey Lancaster.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks retains the UWN Heritage Championship against Jose the Assassin. After the match, "One in a Million" Maximilien and Jordan Castle show up, and Castle pays Jose the Assassin off to lay Sparks out with a camera cable a la Rush before Maximilien and Jordan pose with the Heritage title to end the show.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for September 14, 2025

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Johnny United. He admits that he may have motivated "Poppin'" EJ Sparks even further with his actions, but he knows that they both admire him. Sparks shows up and says he is pissed and that he not only will make him pay, but that he has quickly lost a lot of respect for him. Both men then have a staredown.

Backstage, Christian Cole interviews Danny Limelight. He says that the last time he was here, he was beaten in front of both his fans and his family, and while someone else who took the same journey as he did ended up being a coward, he used to take that road back in the day. He says that he feels like "Scarface in his last moments" and that he did this to himself, and while he had Slice Boogie and Papo Esco in his corner back then, there are no friends in this business. Slice Boogie then shows up as part of the interview. Slice says that last time he was here, he won the Golden Opportunity. He says the company wanted to drive them apart, even though he wanted this opportunity. He says that while there was some tension, especially with what was happening at the time, there is no heat between them, yet if the opportunity is there, he will take it. Limelight says that all they do is win, and that as long as there is money on the table, they will take it. Slice says he and Limelight have won gold everywhere they have gone, and that they have no problem taking the tag team gold.

Scorpio Sky beats Buddy Royal.

Nearly Average Wrestling owner Shane Hartline guests on commentary for the next match.

Brandon Cutler beats "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. At the beginning of the match, Zicky Dice produces two six-sided dice, but Cutler produces a twenty-sided die. At the end of the match, Nearly Average Wreslting owner Shane Hartline takes the twenty-sided die and hits Zicky with it on the outside behind the referee's back, allowing Cutler to hit the TPK for the win. After the match, Shane Hartline removes his neck brace and signs the Nearly Average Wrestling contract in his hands with the pen in Zicky Dice's hand.

Backstage, we hear from Jordan Cutler, who says that "One in a Million" Maximilen is nowhere to be found because of how the fans have treated him and that he is now vacationing in Montenegro. Castle says he could be with him right now, but he is a professional and he has business, and after the commercial break, we will hear from Maximilien.

We see "One in a Million" Maximilen in Montengro, followed by the message "Maximilien, Better Than You." We then hear from Jordan Cutler, who says that this is the electricity and superstardom that Maximilien has and that when Maximilien returns, the fans had better cheer him, for the undefeated dominance will continue.

Jonny Loquasto interviews The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito). Bad Dude Tito says they have run through everyone and leave everyone on their backs, and Che Cabrera says they are the most dominant team in UWN history and that there is no team like them. Tito says they need competition and that they are tired of beating up "little boys" that cannot match men like them, and they can have the match anywhere. Suddenly, G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and shows up. It does not take long for both men to start fighting near Jonny Loquasto, and referees, security and even other wrestlers have to restore order. As Tito dives into everyone, the scene changes to The Master Amir, who says that Slade and McCallion once claimed vanity and were blind to the truth, but change, which is never gentlewas demanded. He says skin must be shed, and only then can trust be revealed. Amir then asks if one will resist or embrace change when the clock stricks, then demands that everyone stand with Delirium (The Master Amir, Slade, McCallion).

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks retains the UWN Heritage Championship against Johnny United. (On the original YouTube airing, Johnny United vs. "Poppin'" EJ Sparks for the UWN Heritage Championship strangely ends after the final commercial break and suddenly becomes Fidel Bravo vs. Jordan Cruz for the UWN World Championship from last week's episode. The error would be fixed the following Tuesday.)

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for August 17, 2025

Alex Gracia beats Bryn Thorne.

We receive another message from Delirium (McCallion and Slade) and their leader: "Time has proven that even brothers can be divided by greed. Blood eventually turns to venom; trust to ash. Delirium: we are chosen, forged in truth, bound by purpose. One mind, one will, one defining heartbeat. While the world tears itself apart, we remain whole. Delirium is the cure for your poisoned mind."

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. The interview is sponsored by Nearly Average Wrestling, which raises Zicky's ire. Zicky finds out that his match with Hex, which is next, is sponsored by Nearly Average Wrestling about once every ten seconds.

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice beats Hex in a match sponsed by Nearly Average Wrestling.

Backstage, we hear from "Poppin'" EJ Sparks, who has been UWN Heritage Champion for 161 days. He says that during the time, he heard Jordan Oasis talk trash about him while he was injured, but he is back and he will beat him tonight so he can put respect on his name.

G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine) beats World's Finest (Steve El Lycan and LJ Ramos).

Backstage, Jack Farmer is interrupted by G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine), who is celebrating their win. Once again, the meaning of G.U.N.K. is almost mentioned, then Rob McKnight mentions it is his dog's birthday. G.U.N.K. also mention that they have no strategy for winning except to keep winning.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for July 13, 2025

We hear from Jonny Loquasto and Brittnie Brooks. Brittnie says that Alex Gracia is her friend one minute and attacking her the next, then she is attacked by Alex Gracia. Security and officials break the brawl up as Loquasto puts them in a match tonight.

Damian Desire beats Che Cabrera after putting his feet on the middle rope for leverage as Bad Dude Tito chases Bryce Saturn around the ring for getting on the ring apron.

Vashawn Harvey vs. Colton Cage in the finals of the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship Tournament is replayed.

Bryce Saturn beats Bad Dude Tito. During the match, Damian Desire and Che Cabrera brawl on the outside, and as this happens "Main Evant" Evan Daniels places one of the UWN Tag Team Championship belts in the ring. Saturn takes it and hits Tito with it while the referee is distracted by "Hysterical" Shane Haste showing up and brawling on the outside with Daniels to get the win.

We hear from Danny Limelight, who says that he stepped into United Wrestling Network to face the best, and that after seven years, he is finally on top. He says that he is nearing 1,000 days as UWN World Champion, and next week, he will issue another open challenge for the title.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks retains the UWN Heritage Championship against Ariya Daivari after countering a pinfall attempt from Daivari following a Hammerlock Lariat and a Flying Carpet splash with a backslide pin.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for April 13, 2025

We hear from David Marquez, who announces the participants of the next match - Big Mama and Alex Gracia - complete with sounds from Press Your Luck.

Big Mama beats Alex Gracia to become the inaugural United Women's Champion!

David Marquez interviews Big Mama. Big Mama says that she has not only taken over Derby City Wrestling and Championship Wrestling, but she is on top of the United Wrestling Network, and wants to know if anybody has what it takes to challenge her for the Women's Championship.

We hear from Zicky Dice, who meets with QT Marshall and Aaron Solo. Zicky asks Marshall if he will be retiring if he beats him, but Marshall tells him to watch who he runs his mouth to before punching him in the face.

Aaron Solo beats Bryce Saturn after using the referee as a human shield.

Backstage, we hear from Aaron Solo and QT Marshall. Solo says that the crowd loves him, and Marshall says that he only breeds winners at the Nightmare Factory and that Zicky Dice had his chance but tucked tail and went somewhere else. He says that next week, he will become the next Television Champion.

Danny Limelight heads to the ring. He says it is great to be back in the United Wrestling Network and that for over 800 days, he has carried the United Wrestling Network on his back, and he has taken on and beaten the best of the best. He says that he does not know what is next for him and that he might as well celebrate his first night off, then Kenny King shows off with a bottle of champagne. Kenny says he is here to celebrate with Danny Limelight, then mentions the party plans that he and Limelight have. Limelight admits he thought Kenny was here to skip the line and challenge for his title, then Kenny says he waits in no line and jumps Limelight.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats "Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Jordan Oasis, Stunt Marshall and Brandon Cutler in a five-way Championship Scramble Match to win the vacant United Heritage Championship!

At The Derby - Derby City Wrestling recap for March 10, 2024

"Main Event" James Morgan guests on commentary for this week.

Buck Skynyr beats Sergio Santana.

Todd Kenneley interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. Zicky Dice lists off his amateur and professional wrestling accomplishments and says that unlike the greats, he was not handed everything with a silver spoon and does not have a legacy last name. He says that his father was an alcoholic who crashed his car into a tree while chased by police, and that he is somehow painted in the same light as his father. He says that anything everyone else can do, he can do better. He says that he has built a brand and that this intimidates everybody, and says that nobody has had his back. He says that it is time for everyone to wake up after nine years after doing everything everyone wanted to do got him nowhere, and that he must take things into his own hands. On the subject on his chaotic in-ring behavior, Zicky says there is no facade and that he has done a lot of things he is not proud of, but those things have got him here, and if anyone wants to figure him out, all they have to do is keep watching.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats "Main Evant" Evan Daniels. During the match, Daniels sandwiches the referee between the corner and EJ Sparks, then kicks Sparks in the groin as the referee is down. Suddenly, Mikey O'Shea shows up, and he spits Daniels' sparkling water into his face before slamming him into the ring post twice as he gets him back in the ring, where EJ Sparks hits Evan Daniels with Roundhouse Rhythm for the win.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto meets with The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito). After Bad Dude Tito demands his world title shot, Che Cabrera says that putting Wild West (Big Hoss and Rob McKnight) in the ring with them is the worst thing Loquasto could do and that they will prove why they are tag champs.

Backstage, Guy Cool is met by Jason Levels, who wants him in the ring as he owes him a win. Suddenly, Flex McCalleon shows up and brags about beating Guy Cool. Guy Cool is not stressed out, and an irritated Levels wants Guy Cool in the ring next week. Flex wants in on this and tells Guy Cool to find a tag team partner. Guy Cool says he knows someone.

We hear from "Pretty" Peter Avalon, who says that he came up short last week against Danny Limelight yet had something woken up inside of him, and next week, he will have something special at the start of the show. We hear from Alex Gracia, who says that she will remind everyone what the "Pink Dream" is as she one thing on her mind: the World Women's Championship. We hear from "Benevolent" Jack Banning, who goes against "Outlandish" Zicky Dice next week. He says there is no chance Zicky Dice will take his title, as he is also going out there on his own and proving that he can do this by himself. He says he will keep the title until he retires, and tells Zicky Dice to keep his emergency contact on speed dial.

"King FatBoy" Papo Esco beats El Primohenio Tribeca.

We see more of Todd Kenneley's interview with "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. Zicky Dice says he has wondered if people taking him seriously or as a joke, then says he has lost everything and that professional wrestling is all he has. He says he has picked up advice over the years and knows that he has to stand out and be a character, but due to his past, he has tended to stay quiet about things and swallow his pride and do everything expected of him than be who he really is. Zicky says he is here to right that wrong.

Danny Limelight guests on commentary for the next match.

Wild West (Big Hoss and Rob McKnight) beat The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) by count-out after Bad Dude Tito confronts Danny Limelight at the announce table and McKnight shoves Tito into Limelight before getting back into the ring in time, which Tito is unable to do. The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) retain the United World Tag Team Championships. After the match, Tito and Limelight have a staredown before having a brawl, which Che Cabrera also gets involved in. Limelight is laid out as the show ends.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto meets with Danny Limelight, who says that "Pretty" Peter Avalon took him to his limits but could not take his title. Loquasto lets Limelight know that Bad Dude Tito is back, then Papo Esco shows up looking for Slice Boogie. Loquasto tells them that he told Slice Boogie to stay home after last week's events, then Loquasto looks for Bad Dude Tito.

At The Derby - Derby City Wrestling recap for February 25, 2024

General Manager Jonny Loquasto is in the ring to start this week's show. He states that as General Manager, he felt that the perfect way to kick off this week was to bring out an individual who has been the face of the United Wrestling Network for over 400 days and has clawed his way up from the bottom to reach the pinnacle and become the United World Champion: Danny Limelight. Limelight heads to the ring, and asks the fans if they missed him before stating that he has not spent his entire time at home, as he has been on a world tour with the United World Championship. He states that he has been champion for over 400 days and has taken the title to Mexico, Puerto Rico and all the states in-between to be a fighting champion for himself as well as the fans. Limelight runs down his title defenses, such as Moose, Clark Connors, "Filthy" Tom Lawlor, "Outlandish" Zicky Dice, and Eddie Kingston, then mentions that the Red Carpet Rumble is around the corner and that someone else will be after his title. He brings up Slice Boogie, then mentions that he is first Golden Opportunity and the World Champion and that Slice is playing a game of "anything you can do, I can do better." Limelight then says that he or anyone who steps up for the title will get put down. As Loquasto declares that Limelight will be defending his championship next week, Slice Boogie shows up. He says the time for rice and beans and pina coladas is over, then says "I'm your papi now!" and wants Limelight for the world title tonight. Loquasto acknowledges that Slice has a shot at the world title, but announces that he is not Limelight's opponent next week. That opponent is announced to be "Pretty" Peter Avalon, the longest reigning Heritage Champion. Slice Boogie tells Avalon he is in a good mood when he shows up. Avalon tells Slice Boogie that he admires his confidence and says that he is talented, and if he wins the title, he will gladly defend it against him. He then says it is him and Limelight next week, and that he will leave with the title and "that is deadass." Limelight states that "PPA" will soon stand for "Papi pins Avalon."

Dylan Bostic beats "The Desirable" Damian Desire.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto meets with "Benevolent" Jack Banning, who tells him that based on his actions, he wants his main event match for the Television Championship is against a man who has been by his side and has helped him during his title reign, and was even stripped of his first name before he left him in the dust: Honest John. Banning says that is fine with him, as he gets to teach Honest John one fnal lesson. When Banning walks off, it is revealed that Honest John has been overhearing him in secret.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats "Highly Recommended" Cameron Gates.

We hear from Jordan Cruz, who says Ju Dizz beating him means absolutely nothing and that he was right to cross him all along. He says he is still the baddest man in the locker room and that his fire is fueled even further, and if anyone thought he had a mean streak before, they haven't seen anything yet. We hear from "Timeless" Levi Shapiro and Rob McKnight, and Shapiro says that they are coming back to the United Wrestling Network to wreak all kinds of havoc and beat all of the tag teams. Rob McKnight says that when they step in the ring, everyone had better watch out.

Jordan Cruz beats CJ Tino.

"Benevolent" Jack Banning retains the United Television Championship against Honest John following two pop-up cutters and a DDT into the guillotine choke.

He brings up Slice Boogie, then mentions that he is first Golden Opportunity and the World Champion and that Slice is playing a game of "anything you can do, I can do better." Limelight then says that he or anyone who steps up for the title will get put down. As Loquasto declares that Limelight will be defending his championship next week, Slice Boogie shows up. He says the time for rice and beans and pina coladas is over, then says "I'm your papi now!" and wants Limelight for the world title tonight. Loquasto acknowledges that Slice has a shot at the world title, but announces that he is not Limelight's opponent next week. That opponent is announced to be "Pretty" Peter Avalon, the longest reigning Heritage Champion. Slice Boogie tells Avalon he is in a good mood when he shows up. Avalon tells Slice Boogie that he admires his confidence and says that he is talented, and if he wins the title, he will gladly defend it against him. He then says it is him and Limelight next week, and that he will leave with the title and "that is deadass." Limelight states that "PPA" will soon stand for "Papi pins Avalon."

Mikey O'Shea beats "Main Event" Evan Daniels by disqualification after Daniels hits O'Shea with a canned beverage from the crowd on the outside.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto meets with "Benevolent" Jack Banning, who tells him that based on his actions, he wants his main event match for the Television Championship is against a man who has been by his side and has helped him during his title reign, and was even stripped of his first name before he left him in the dust: Honest John. Banning says that is fine with him, as he gets to teach Honest John one fnal lesson. When Banning walks off, it is revealed that Honest John has been overhearing him in secret.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats "Highly Recommended" Cameron Gates.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto talks with Jason Levels. He says he understands that he is wanting to be a giant killer, but tells him to stick to opponents his own size. He leaves, then Guy Cool shows up trying to catch up with Jonny. Levels asks if they have a problem, but Guy Cool says "No, I'm cool." Guy Cool runs off, and Levels is confused.

We hear from Jordan Cruz, who says Ju Dizz beating him means absolutely nothing and that he was right to cross him all along. He says he is still the baddest man in the locker room and that his fire is fueled even further, and if anyone thought he had a mean streak before, they haven't seen anything yet. We hear from Savanna Stone, who says that she has lived in uncertainty and listened to others for too long, but she knows for certain that her time in The Institution ("Benevolent" Jack Banning, Savanna, Honest John) has taught her pain and growth, which equals struggle. She says she is one with herself, and that the Women's World Championship is hers for the taking. We hear from "Timeless" Levi Shapiro and Rob McKnight, and Shapiro says that they are coming back to the United Wrestling Network to wreak all kinds of havoc and beat all of the tag teams. Rob McKnight says that when they step in the ring, everyone had better watch out.

El Primohenio Tribeca beats CJ Tino.

"Benevolent" Jack Banning retains the United Television Championship against Honest John following two pop-up cutters and a DDT into the guillotine choke.

Backstage, we hear from "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater, who says that his path to opportunity is up next because the entire event was named after and built for him, and when he wins, he will be one step closer to reclaiming his birthright and destiny in the United World Championship.

Backstage, The Bodega discuss their upcoming matches. As "King FatBoy" Papo Esco hopes that The Bodega has his back and Danny Limelight mentions his world title defense next week, they also discuss getting Slice Boogie a shot at the United Heritage title.

"The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater beats Ju Dizz and Rocco Bellagio with the Goldi-Lock on Ju Dizz - who suffers a hurt knee after slipping on a springboard move - to advance in the Golden Opportunity Tournament when Rocco Bellagio is unable to stop Ju Dizz from tapping out in time.

Backstage, Jeremy McPete interviews Invictus Khash. Khash says that when he came to United Wrestling Network a year ago, he came there with a dream in his heart, and while he went through a lot, he won the Red Carpet Rumble. Shortly after that, Jordan Clearwater put him on the shelf, and as he recovered, he realized time was of the essence and his time to shine is now. He says that Limelight's time is coming to an end, and next week, he will make him tap out and become United World Champion.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto is met by Shane Haste and Che Cabrera, who confront him for letting Invictus Khash cash in and putting them in a tag team title match while Bad Dude Tito is in Japan. After stating that Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCallion) "are no supergroup" regarding their tag team title defense, Beef Candy show up and confront them for their statement, and Jonny Loquasto makes it clear that their United World Tag Team Championship match will happen next week.

Slice Boogie beats "Main Event" Evan Daniels and Sledge to advance in the Golden Opportunity Tournament. After the match, Jeremy McPete interviews Slice Boogie in the ring, and Slice talks about how Danny Limelight beat him in last year's tournament and how The Bodega did not end after that, then says he and Danny are on the same time and that he is here to be the MVP, not to win a Most Improved Player or Sixth Man award.

Championship Gold - Championship Wresting recap for May 4, 2023

"The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater heads to the ring. He is booed down and told that he sucks by the crowd as he tries to speak, then brags about how he outsmarted so many people from the championship committee down to the fans. He then states that he outsmarted the entire wrestling world when he became United World Champion one year ago, then calls Danny Limelight "some doofus who is walking around with [his] belt." Clearwater tells the fans that he is here to save them from him and that nobody entertains the fans like "The Golden Boy" does, then tells everyone to pull out their cameras and feast their eyes on pure gold before telling Limelight he is on borrowed time. He promises that he will win the United World Championship back from Danny Limelight and proclaims that this is the golden truth. Suddenly, Danny Limelight shows up. Limelight chases Clearwater out of the ring, then throws Clearwater's jacket and tie out of the ring back at him.



Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) guest on commentary this week.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats Charles "R-Three" Cassus with a pair of Roundhouse Rhythms to qualify for the Golden Opportunity Match.



"King FatBoy" Papo Esco and Slice Boogie talk with Danny Limelight, telling him that Jordan Clearwater is playing mind games and that he has made a mistake messing with them. Slice Boogie says the time of being a nice guy is over, and Danny Limelight agrees.

Backstage, Megan Harmon interviews Savanna Stone. Savanna tells Zeda Zhang one time and one time only to keep control of Ashlee-Evans Smith, as nobody will get in the way of her being the first United Women's Champion, as she not only runs the women's division, she owns it.

Savanna Stone beats Brittnie Brooks.



Backstage, Megan Harmon interviews Halston Boddy and Sledge. He says that it is time for Dom Kubrick to get off the fence and join Prism, because he will not qualify for Golden Opportunity on his own. Sledge says there is a right way and a wrong way, with the right way being joining them while the wrong way is facing him, as he will qualify with or without Dom.

TMZ (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) retain the United World Tag Team Championships against 24K (Michael Hopkins and Miggy Rose).

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for April 30, 2023

The show starts with UWN representative Jonny Loquasto addressing the fans, who is about to announce the next contender for the United World Championship, and introducing United World Champion Danny Limelight. Limelight wants to know who his next challenger, then Loquasto mentions that Limelight has had a laundry list of competitors that he has put down before announcing he will be defending against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor in two weeks. Lawlor shows up and says he has faced the best and has also had history with Limelight, then says that the two of them are not the same, as while Limelight might have fought some of the best, he has not fought him. He then says that in two weeks, the United World Championship is coming home where it belongs, and Limelight responds by saying he knew he was here for his title, and while Lawlor is one of the best fighters in the world, they are not in New Japan. Limelight then says that he is the face of the United Wrestling Network and that he will put Tom Lawlor out.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Halston Boddy, who says that he already has "La Mariposa" Dom Kubrick's attention and is dancing around in his head rent-free. Boddy says that Kubrick fears success and that he cannot make it to the top by himself, and that he needs a small army. Boddy then asks Kubrick to join The Boddy Shop - now known as Prism - and tells him that he is a forgiving mood, then tells him that when he makes that decision, he can either help him or hurt him.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats "La Mariposa" Dom Kubrick.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto meets with "Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater, who hands him the contract for his rematch clause, and tells him that there is a stipulation in the contract that ensures that his match is a fair fight. Loquasto says he will look into it, then tells him that he will be facing Invictus Khash. Clearwater says Invictus Khash is "washed up" and "old news" while he runs the market and sets the standard.

"Benevolent" Jack Banning retains the United Television Championship against Ju Dizz and Jordan Cruz after Cruz gets on his feet while Banning has him in the guillotine choke and stacks him up on top of Ju Dizz. With both of Ju Dizz's shoulders down and the body-to-body contact between Banning and Ju Dizz, despite it being facilitated by Cruz, causes Banning to retain the championship. After the match, Jordan Cruz attacks Ju Dizz and blames him for the loss.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for March 19, 2023

"BHK" Kevin Martenson retains the United Heritage Championship against "The New Age Punisher" B-Boy after rolling into a pinfall attempt after B-Boy hits him with a brainbuster.



We hear from "Outlandish" Zicky Dice, who says that he was laughed at the first time he tried to change the world and that he tried to make everyone laugh because he knew what it felt like to be absolutely worthless and didn't want anyone else to feel that way. Dice says he became everybody's clown and that he hates clowns, and for his final act, he will make it all disappear. He says it is a secret how he will do it, and it he gave his secrets away, no one will be interested. He then says there is "another side to the Dice."

Rob McKnight and Big Hoss vs. El Primohenio Tribeca and Sledge ends in a no-contest after both teams brawl and refuse to listen to the referee. After the match, Levi Shapiro has to make the save for Big Hoss and Rob McKnight with a bullrope and cowbell. Halston Boddy and El Primohenio Tribeca have to hold Sledge back, even as he throws a chair from the audience into the ring.



Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Jordan Cruz, who says that being a former champion does not sit well with him and that all he can think about is "Benevolent" Jack Banning taking his championship from him and nearly losing his friendship with Ju Dizz. He says that he needs to remember who he is and make things right, but he will first fix his friendship with Ju Dizz and apologize to him so they can take down The Institution (Banning, Freeman, Honest, Divine).

Divine beats Koto Hiro. After the match, Honest attacks Koto Hiro with mounted punches, and Divine has to stop him.



Backstage, The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) plug their new T-shirt, then "Hysterical" Shane Haste shows up and hands Bad Dude Tito a sleveless TMDK shirt before saying he is proud of him for becoming a #1 contender for the tag team titles. He then says he has gotten with Jonny Loquasto and that the tag team title match is happening next week, and Bad Dude Tito says that if they were to win the tag team titles next week, he, Haste and Che Cabrera can hold them under Freebird Rules as "The Mighty Zaddies." Che Cabrera warms up to the idea, and Bad Dude Tito loves it.

"Pretty" Peter Avalon guests on commentary for the next match.



Bateman beats "Poppin'" EJ Sparks. After the match, Bateman hits Sparks with Death From Above again, and "Pretty" Peter Avalon runs from the commentary table to the ring to chase Bateman out.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for February 26, 2023

Levi Shapiro and Rob McKnight beat El Primohenio Tribeca and Lord Crewe in a Loser Leaves Town Match. As per pre-match stipulation, Lord Crewe has to leave Championship Wrestling. (Had Lord Crewe and El Primohenio Tribeca won, Rob McKnight would have had to leave.



Backstage, Megan Harmon interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. Zicky says he is the United Wrestling Network and that the fans do not remember that. He says he is hungry and starving, then asks Willie Mack if he is hungry before saying that Willie has eaten and has gotten complacent. He says that tonight, he is going to eat a lot of "Chocolate Thunder."

Danny Limelight heads to the ring. Limelight talks about how he made Jordan Clearwater tap out to become United World Champion and how he stood toe-to-toe with Eddie Kingston and was pushed to his limit. He then says that he has Clark Connors next week, and he also has the #1 contender in Bad Dude Tito and the Red Carpet Rumble winner in Invictus Khash, and he must stay focused, for as long as he is champion, everyone will want a piece of him. Limelight says that after he beats Clark Connors, they can bring anybody, and they will still tap. He then states that he will take on all challengers, and that he is United World Champion and there is nothing anybody can do about it.



J-Rod beats Candy Girl in her Championship Wrestling debut.



Sledge beats "Poppin'" EJ Sparks. After the match, Bateman shows up, and Sledge leaves the ring after telling him that EJ Sparks is all his. Bateman helps Sparks up and raises his hand before hitting him with the brainbuster. "Pretty" Peter Avalon then shows up as Bateman hits Sparks with the Death From Above, then checks on Sparks.



Backstage, The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) run into Jonny Loquasto. Loquasto congratulate them on becoming three-time United World Tag Team Champions, and as he mentions the controversy behind their win, Bad Dude Tito shows up and mentions his credentials before Flex McCalleon states that he and Richie Slade have yet to get their championship rematch. Jonny Loquasto announces that in two weeks, The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) and Beef Candy (Flex McCalleon and Richie Slade) take on The Midnight Heat and The Institution ("Benevolent" Jack Banning, Divine, Freeman, Honest).

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice beats Willie Mack after putting his hands on the referee to pull himself before running into the ropes to knock Willie Mack off the top rope and hitting the High Roller for the win.

Backstage, Jeremy McPeet interviews Gangrel, who tells Zicky Dice that he is coming for him and leaving with the United Heritage Championship as he promises that there will be a bloodbath tonight.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Bad Dude Tito. He says he sees Jordan Cruz is doing amazing things, but is not on his level. Next week, he is coming for the United Television Championship.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats Che Cabrera after countering a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker into an inside cradle for the win.

Backstage, Johnny Loquasto announces that James Kincaid is recovering at home and that "Benevolent" Jack Banning is suspended for one month. If Jack Banning gets involved in any of The Institution's (Banning, Freeman, Divine, Honest) matches, he will be suspended for the rest of the year.

The Institution (Freeman and Divine) beat Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) after Honest keeps Flex McCalleon from making the save for Richie Slade. Despite being suspended, "Benevolent" Jack Banning shows up and even watches from the stage alongside Honest.

Backstage, Jeremy McPeet interviews The Embassy. Prince Nana says that the United Wrestling Network committee are setting up matches he did not approve of, and that he will make sure that Ray Jazikoff and Mike Goga will never step foot in UWN again. "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater says Willie Mack and Ray Jazikoff will remember about their match against them is losing, and Prince Nana says that we will witness The Embassy's biggest, grandest creation: Talos, the up-until-this point unnamed big man.

Talos beats Jason Levi.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. Zicky says he has been champion for over 150 days and that he will be damned if "some immortal freak" will take the United Heritage Championship from him. He says there will be no blood because his face "is television."

"Timeless" Levi Shapiro beats El Primohenio Tribeca with a schoolkid pin after sending Primohenio into the corner. During the match, the unknown man gets on the apron, and Howdy Price has to get him down. After the match, Shapiro and Primohenio shake hands as Howdy Price has to keep the mystery man - whose name is Rob - from charging at Primohenio. Shapiro tells Rob he has a lot to learn.

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice retains the United Heritage Championship against Gangrel after countering a Superplex into a Fisherman's suplex-style pin attempt. After the match, Gangrel spits blood into Zicky Dice's face.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for October 2, 2022

The Bodega (Danny Limelight, "King FatBoy" Papo Esco, Slice Boogie) head to the ring to start this week's show. Slice Boogie says he is okay with Danny Limelight beating him like he did in the Golden Opportunity tournament and announces he has suffered a torn Achilles, then Papo Esco says The Bodega is about to run the United Wrestling Network on the greatest level. He says that Danny Limelight will win the United World Championship and that everything The Bodega set out to do will happen as planned, then Danny Limelight has a toast with the fans before telling Jordan Clearwater that he is coming home with the gold. He also says there is nobody in the back or in The Embassy who can stop him, then Baron Black shows up and says that while Danny Limelight is number one contender, he is only that because he was not in the tournament. Limelight tells Baron Black he has respect for him and that he did not need to show up like a jealous ex, then says that Black was not in the tournament because he did not put in enough work. Baron Black says that he was the top guy in Championship Wrestling From Atlanta and tells him that he could have beaten Danny Limelight any day of the week, then Johnny Loquasto shows up. Loquasto commends Baron Black on stacking up wins in United Wrestling Network even though Danny Limelight has earned his title shot, then puts the two of them in a match for next week. Baron tells Limelight that he is going to learn, and Limelight tells Baron that he made him tap out last time.

Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) beat Michael Hopkins and Miggy Rose.

Backstage, Guy Tweakacetti says that The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) have been partying for forty days and forty nights. Ricky Gibson says that with the United tag titles comes with a lot of clout, and with that clout, people pay attention to them and they plan on another long title reign. Suddenly, Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) shows up. Thornstowe tells The Midnight Heat that they have put targets on themselves and that Reno Scum have had multiple title reigns. Johnny Loquasto shows up and puts both teams in the main event, and if Reno Scum win, they get a shot at the United tag titles. As Guy Tweakacetti gets mad, Loquasto tells him to keep the sunglasses on due to how his pupils look.

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks beats Koto Hiro.

Lord Crewe vs. Levi Shapiro ends in a no-contest after Crewe shoves a camera crew member for getting in his way only for the camera crew member to shove back. Both the camera crew member and Lord Crewe have to be held back.

We hear from Jack Banning, who congratulates Ju Dizz on winning last week. He says Ju Dizz may think things are going his way, but they are also going his way. He says Ju Dizz's win against Freeman was tainted, but the next match will be "an honest for us all." He says that humans have only one instinct: to survive. He also says humans have one guarantee: they won't.

Jordan Cruz retains the United Television Championship against Kevin Martenson.

Golden Opportunity, Part 2 - Championship Wresting presented by CarShield recap for August 28, 2022

The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Edwards) beat Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) to become the United World Tag Team Champions after Guy Tweakacetti holds Richie Slade down with his tie as he suplexes Eddie Pearl back into the ring.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Jordan Cruz, who says that his life in the past few months has been nothing short of a nightmare. He says he has no beef with "King FatBoy" Papo Esco and wanted nothing to do with Zicky Dice, but he wants to be Television Champion. After he says that the title will end his nightmare, Papo Esco shows up and asks him if he is ready. Cruz says he is ready, and Papo Esco says that while he makes the title look good, he wants to make sure he is ready to handle the pressure, as everyone will be watching. He says that Jordan Cruz is not ready for that pressure and that he will be walking out as the champion as he was born "the man," then tells him that not only will his nightmare continue, but his dream will end, too.

Jordan Cruz beats "King FatBoy" Papo Esco to win the United World Television Championship despite both men being distracted by Guy Tweakacetti during the match. After the match, Jordan Cruz and Papo Esco shake hands.

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice retains the United Heritage Championship against "Poppin'" EJ Sparks after using the referee as a human shield, allowing him to hit a low blow followed by Snake, Rattle and Roll to retain the title when Sparks gently moves the referee out of the way.
