Loquasto threatens to ban The Epic from ringside from his match, then Javi shows up and says he will see Cruz next week. The Epic punches Javi, starting a brawl security has to break up.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Bateman, who says he has stood in the ring against gods and monsters and has not backed down. Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for October 5, 2025

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Fidel Bravo. Bravos says his mask has always been a part of me and was just waiting to be awoken, and now it is his year and that Chris Nasty had better be ready.

Fidel Bravo beats Chris Nasty.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews "Poppin'" EJ Sparks. Sparks says he is back by popular demand and feeling great, and while his match with Johnny United was the biggest match of his career, he is focused on his title match with José the Assassin, who he has a history with, and hopes for a good clean match and a successful title defense.

Delirium (Slade and McCallion) beat The Pump Line (Boa "the Constrictor" Silva and "The Solution" Antonio Rivers).

Jordan Castle is in the ring. He says that he made it very clear that "One in a Million" Maximilien was to be treated with respect upon his return, and demands total and complete silence from the loudly booing crowd. He states that Maximilien has been spending the last month bathing in golden sun while still maintaining a body that the fans do not and never will have before coming back for the competition. Jordan Castle proclaims that Maximilien is not looking for "table scraps" and is demanding "real competition" before demanding that Nearly Average Wrestling owner introducing Maximilien to the ring. After Maximilien enters the ring, Nearly Average Wrestling owner Shane Hartline shows up and states that "Outlandish" Zicky Dice will not be here tonight as the fans know him due to the contract that Hartline forced him to sign while he was unconscious. He then says that Zicky Dice has gotten a tune-up and that this is not a "Fake Diesel situation" before introducing "A Better Zicky Dice." A random guy in a Nearly Average Wrestling T-shirt shows up to be Maximilien's opponent. Maximilien immediately puts him in the Max Factor for the submission victory. After the match, Jordan Castle is furious that "a C-list actor and a circus freak" was the best United Wrestling Network had to offer, then says Maximilien is now 7-0 - which is lucky for Maximilien and unlucky for the rest of the locker room - and that if Maximilien does not get what he deserves, then he and Maximilien will take it for themselves. Shane Hartline has to drag the man he brought out for the match to the back, and when the man comes to, he thinks that he won.

Backstage, we hear from Brandon Cutler, who says that since he has donned "The Dragon," he has been undefeated and conquered the ring to the point that it is now his lair. He says that his opponent is a defending champion to an undefeated challenger and asks if he can stop him, and that the thing he stands to lose is what dragons love most: gold. Tonight, he will reign and he will rise.

"Main Evant" Evan Daniels retains the UWN Television Championship against Brandon Cutler after using the referee as a human shield so he can rake Cutler in the eyes to get the win and retain his title.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for September 14, 2025

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Johnny United. He admits that he may have motivated "Poppin'" EJ Sparks even further with his actions, but he knows that they both admire him. Sparks shows up and says he is pissed and that he not only will make him pay, but that he has quickly lost a lot of respect for him. Both men then have a staredown.

Backstage, Christian Cole interviews Danny Limelight. He says that the last time he was here, he was beaten in front of both his fans and his family, and while someone else who took the same journey as he did ended up being a coward, he used to take that road back in the day. He says that he feels like "Scarface in his last moments" and that he did this to himself, and while he had Slice Boogie and Papo Esco in his corner back then, there are no friends in this business. Slice Boogie then shows up as part of the interview. Slice says that last time he was here, he won the Golden Opportunity. He says the company wanted to drive them apart, even though he wanted this opportunity. He says that while there was some tension, especially with what was happening at the time, there is no heat between them, yet if the opportunity is there, he will take it. Limelight says that all they do is win, and that as long as there is money on the table, they will take it. Slice says he and Limelight have won gold everywhere they have gone, and that they have no problem taking the tag team gold.

Scorpio Sky beats Buddy Royal.

Nearly Average Wrestling owner Shane Hartline guests on commentary for the next match.

Brandon Cutler beats "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. At the beginning of the match, Zicky Dice produces two six-sided dice, but Cutler produces a twenty-sided die. At the end of the match, Nearly Average Wreslting owner Shane Hartline takes the twenty-sided die and hits Zicky with it on the outside behind the referee's back, allowing Cutler to hit the TPK for the win. After the match, Shane Hartline removes his neck brace and signs the Nearly Average Wrestling contract in his hands with the pen in Zicky Dice's hand.

Backstage, we hear from Jordan Cutler, who says that "One in a Million" Maximilen is nowhere to be found because of how the fans have treated him and that he is now vacationing in Montenegro. Castle says he could be with him right now, but he is a professional and he has business, and after the commercial break, we will hear from Maximilien.

We see "One in a Million" Maximilen in Montengro, followed by the message "Maximilien, Better Than You." We then hear from Jordan Cutler, who says that this is the electricity and superstardom that Maximilien has and that when Maximilien returns, the fans had better cheer him, for the undefeated dominance will continue.

Jonny Loquasto interviews The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito). Bad Dude Tito says they have run through everyone and leave everyone on their backs, and Che Cabrera says they are the most dominant team in UWN history and that there is no team like them. Tito says they need competition and that they are tired of beating up "little boys" that cannot match men like them, and they can have the match anywhere. Suddenly, G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and shows up. It does not take long for both men to start fighting near Jonny Loquasto, and referees, security and even other wrestlers have to restore order. As Tito dives into everyone, the scene changes to The Master Amir, who says that Slade and McCallion once claimed vanity and were blind to the truth, but change, which is never gentlewas demanded. He says skin must be shed, and only then can trust be revealed. Amir then asks if one will resist or embrace change when the clock stricks, then demands that everyone stand with Delirium (The Master Amir, Slade, McCallion).

"Poppin'" EJ Sparks retains the UWN Heritage Championship against Johnny United. (On the original YouTube airing, Johnny United vs. "Poppin'" EJ Sparks for the UWN Heritage Championship strangely ends after the final commercial break and suddenly becomes Fidel Bravo vs. Jordan Cruz for the UWN World Championship from last week's episode. The error would be fixed the following Tuesday.)

He says that Maximilian is deserving of a vacation and that they are taking the next flight to Montenegro, and that when the fans yearn for him, they wil show him the respect both earned and owed if and only if he returns.

Brandon Cutler beats Buddy Royal after Buddy's back gives out. After the match, Jack Farmer interviews Cutler. Cutler thought that the phrase "fail forward" is poison for the mind and makes one complacent, mediocre and undane, and since then, he has gone undefeated and made a masterpiece out of mundane. He says that he will be victorious and that he will reign.

Jack Farmer introduces The Texas Outlaws (Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes) to the ring. Wyatt thanks the fans for the warm welcome, and Wayne mentions that this is their first time in California and that there is no better place than Championship Wrestling to make it happen. Wyatt says they are ready to kick some ass and that there is no other moment than right now, and Wayne says they will do whatever it takes to become tag team champions. As Wyatt talks about coming out to the Rhodes name, Delirium (Slade, McCallion, The Master Amir) show up, and The Master Amir - the mysterious leader of Delirium that we have heard from for weeks - says that this is what royalty looks like and that it is not acceptable. He says that The Texas Outlaws have ridden into their territory, and here, there is royalty and there are rulers, and Delirium rules the United Wrestling Network. He says that one brother will succeed while the other will be left in the dust. He offers an olive branch and gives The Texas Outlaws a chance to leave while they can and spare themselves from their future annihiliation, but The Texas Outlaws choose otherwise, and The Master tells them that it is their royal funeral.

Delirium (Slade and McCallion) beat The Texas Outlaws (Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes).

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews TMZ ("Hysterical" Shane Haste, Che Cabrera, Bad Dude Tito). They are soon interrupted by The Evantourage ("Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Bryce Saturn, Damian Desire). Damian says that a victory over them does not mean anything, and Saturn has to hold him back and tell TMZ that Daniels has an offer for them. He states that they are owed a tag team title shot after defeating Cabrera and Tito and that Haste wants a shot at the UWN Television Championship. Daniels demands another title shot for Saturn and Damian, and in exchange, he will give Haste a shot at the Television title. Titi says they are here to fight and that it was easy the first couple of times, and agrees to the offer.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Fidel Bravo. Fidel says Scorpio Sky is one of the best in the world and that he has been begging for this opportunity. He says that this week's main event is a big match, and while Scorpio Sky is the best, he plans to beat the best.

Slade says the tag team has seen what they are now up against, and McCallion says that when you crawl into the dark with them, you don't come back up. The mysterious leader of Delirium says that this is the first warning, and to stand with Delirium or be slayed by society.

Jack Farmer gets in the ring and asks Big Baby Slim if he is answering the open challenge. Big Baby Slim says he does not need the title or the fans, and that he will take on anyone. (Three of the members are Olumide, Alpha Zo and Chris Nasty, who competed on the most recent AEW Collision.) Athena says she asked for Ja Rule, then tells the minions to get out of the ring, which they do with great urgency. Athena says this was supposed to be her day and her moment of celebration, then says her parents were supposed to be here until her mother put getting major surgery over celebrating the only success that she has had in life before calling her mother "selfish." She also wants to know where the women's division is after she "lifted every single one of those hussies out of mediocrity," and while they are "mediocre" and "still suck," she did the best with what she had and she cannot do the Lord's work. Athena says that without her, there would be no ROH, let alone no women's division, and says that day in and day out, she has never been content and has wanted more, and that she has come here and busted her ass and done her job busting "hussies'" heads. She says she is the best in the world and the greatest of all time, but some people want to call her overrated, but Athena prefers the term "underappreciated." She says she deserves more than this, as she has not been pinned or submitted in almost two years, and asks where her flowers, recognition, tribute and appreciation are at. She then says the fans suck and does not know why she is in "this podunk town," then says the party sucks and blames it all on Billie. She says that Billie is jealous of everything that she has done in her career, and that Billie wishes she was her due to how she looks at her, because Billie could not even do a tenth of what she has done in the past year. As she says this last part, she jabs her finger into Billie's chest, and Billie snatches the microphone from Athena's hand before telling Athena she is done. She shoves Athena, then leaves. Lexy says this is still a good celebration and does not know what has gotten into Billie, then shows Athena the original ROH Women's World Championship, now with a picture of Athena in the center plate that also spins much like a John Cena spinner belt, which Athena loves. Athena hugs Lexy, then Abadon's music hits. Lexy hides under the ring, but Abadon does not show up and Athena thinks this is all a joke. When she pulls Lexy out from underneath the ring, Abadon is on the other end of the chain instead, and they beat Athena up before hitting her with Black Dahlia. Abadon then notices the celebration cake, unhooks themselves from Athena and throws the cake in Athena's face.

In backstage footage from this week's Dynamite, Mark Briscoe is in pain, and cannot speak before turning away from the camera.

He says that Adam Page is a coward and afraid to face him at Full Gear while also blowing through -1's diaper supply faster than his beer, and says that if people knew who "Hangman" Adam Page really was, they would be chanting "coward shit."

We see a video package for FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. The Lucha Brothers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear.

Tony Schiavone interviews Sting in the ring. Before Sting can speak on the subject of Darby Allin's condition, MJF shows up. He says he does not want to start a fight and embarrass Sting in front of the fans, and says he is here for a gentleman's chat. He says that Sting does not want to update the fans on Darby Allin's status, because if he did, the fans would know that Darby is not coming back. MJF then says that Sting can distract the fans by waring facepaint and swinging a bat, he is not fooling anyone because he knows Sting is a bad person and is never there when the fans need him most. He also says that it is due to Sting's negligence that Darby Allin is in the same situation as his old friend Lex Luger: in a wheelchair. Before MJF can say "wheelchair," however, Sting punches him. Wardlow and Shawn Spears also run into the ring, and while Sting does his best to fend them off, the numbers game takes over and Shawn Spears smashes the chair into Sting's back. MJF then sits down in the chair and says that while Darby is in a whole lot of pain, he knows he is watching tonight, and asks if he has broken Darby mentally yet before telling Darby to look at Sting. He tells Darby that no matter how many times people chant his name or want him to come back, what happened to Sting will be his future and he will always be second-best to him and him alone, for he is the past, present and future of professional wrestling. When Sting gets up, MJF punches him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on his finger, knocking him back down.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. Britt Baker says that Tay Conti has shown everyone her ass while she has shown she is the best women's wrestler, and since she laid her hands on the Women's World Championship, she will beat that ass and retain the title at Full Gear.

MJF then makes Shawn Spears his "accountibili-buddy."

The Men of the Year ("All Ego" Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky) and Dan Lambert are in the ring. Ethan Page says The Inner Circle sucks, not them, and then decides to say why in detail. He says that all he has seen of Jake Hager is Scorpio Sky pinning him, and that Santana and Ortiz aren't as hard as they think they are. He then says that Jericho only got a microphone to flirt with Paige VanZant, and that the only celebrity Jericho is kissing on is "[Jorge] Masvidal's knee." Page says he and Scorpio are the future of AEW and not "that PR nightmare, Sammy Guevara." Suddenly, Sammy shows up and tells Page to shut the hell up, then tells him to stop bitching about how life is unfair and do something about it like he did. He says Page is not as high up in the company as he would like because the only person who gives a shit is him, then calls Dan Lambert a fat-faced dipshit before demanding stipulations from him. Lambert admits he is proud of Sammy for what he can do on the ring and is impressed about what he can do on a microphone, saying he can put to rest any rumors about him "sucking on a stick." Lambert then tells Sammy that he has his ten-man tag team match at Full Gear, but if and only if Sammy shows up next week and defends the TNT Championship next week against Ethan Page. Also, if Sammy loses the match, he not only loses the TNT Championship, he leaves The Inner Circle forever. Sammy accepts, and says if he wins, he gets to choose which members of America's Top Team that The Inner Circle will face at Full Gear. Scorpio Sky then decides that he and Ethan Page will go ahead and beat up Sammy, and when they go up the ramp to do it, he is quickly joined by Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager, who clean house.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that he is worried more about his daughter than the World Title Eliminator Tournament, saying that he realizes that he doesn't care about anything else but his daughter. He says that to keep his teeth in his head and his head on his shoulders, people have to get hurt, and earns everybody that he will get them before they get him and he will win the entire tournament.

We hear from The Dark Order. As they refuse to be stopped by The Superkliq (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Adam Cole), "Hangman" Adam Page shows up and apologizes for what happened after he left, saying they tried to do their best afterwards before offering his help against The Elite.

Jungle Boy quickly beats Brandon Cutler with the Snare Trap. After the match, Jungle Boy calls the match "a nice little warm-up," then says he is feeling good and ready to go again. He then tells one of the Elite "pieces of shit" to come to the ring right now. When nobody shows up, Jungle Boy puts Brandon Cutler in the Snare Trap again and puts the microphone to Cutler's mouth, then Adam Cole shows up and confronts Jungle Boy, saying he is right here and they can fight right now. When Adam Cole gets on the ring apron, Jungle Boy knocks him off, then he turns around to eat two superkicks from The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Cole and the Bucks get Jungle Boy on the stage, and The Bucks and Adam Cole hit Jungle Boy with the BTE-Trigger and an assisted Last Shot. As Cole and the Bucks leave, they turn around and throw Jungle Boy off the stage and into a table below.

We hear from Miro, who tells his god that he is out of time and that he needs his wife back. He says that his violence will be a reflection on the god who has forsaken him, and that if he were to fight 100 times, he will break 100 necks. He says he will be champion once again, not because he wants it, but because he will be left no other choice, and that he will come back to his wife with blood on his hands and over his eyes and it will all be on his god.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Malakai Black. During the match, Brock Anderson and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson head to ringside. Later on, Andrade el Idolo shows up and fires an invisible Glock at "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, who hits Jose with a spinebuster when Jose enters the ring. Malakai spits black mist into Anderson's face, then PAC shows up and fights Andrade, sending him to the back. It takes a Cross Rhodes followed by a Tiger Driver '98 for Cody to beat Malakai.

On the first commercial break of Rhodes To The Top, Tony Schiavone interviews Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson backstage. Danielson says he is 100% focused on becoming the AEW World Champion, and to do that, he has to beat "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, and then he has to beat Eddie to enter the finals. He says that Eddie is standing in his way, and Eddie says that last year's Full Gear was the closest he got to the dream, and that he will not let someone new take it from him. Danielson says that if it was a dream, Eddie would work harder, and says Eddie has so much talent and heart but puts in zero work outside of the ring. Eddie tells Danielson that he will see him soon and leaves. Danielson says Eddie has no chance, because he cannot put in enough work to make up for the last twenty years.

We see a video package edited by MT Nakazawa chronicling Kenny Omega's recent AEW Championship defense.

The Pinnacle head to the ring. Dax Harwood says Stadium Stampede did not go their way and that the match were not made for men like him and Dax Harwood, and while they and Proud 'n Powerful had similar starts, Proud 'n Powerful lost their edge while they did not and he has a family and a bank account, and for that, they had to end their careers and take food off of their families' tables. Harwood says he does not have a family and does not care about Santana's or Ortiz's, even after Santana and Ortiz have never won the tag team titles in two years and are happy with being a footnote in someone else's history. Shawn Spears says that Sammy Guevara is a "glorified indy wrestler" and not a hero, and that The Pinnacle are what professional wresters are supposed to look like. Wardlow says that Jake Hager is obsessed with him and needs him because he brings out the best in him in all of their matches, then says he is all for it and that in one week, he will prove that Hager is always in his world. MJF says he is tired of people acting like he has something to prove when he is already the best, then says he grew up idolizing Chris Jericho and how meeting him backstage and working with him should have been a dream come true. He says that Jericho is not even on his level and that his match request is denied, then addresses Sammy Guevara, calling him a "chickenshit" with worse promo skills than Helen Keller and saying he does not belong in the same ring as him. Jericho then shows up on the video screen and tells MJF he can brag about the Pinnacle's promo as he walks home alone. The Inner Circle then vandalize The Pinnacle's white limousine. Jake Hager is then seen driving a forklift, and Hager rams the prongs of the forklift into the limo before lifting it up. We hear from Darby Allin and Sting. Darby says he is not replacing Sting and that he wants his match with Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page to be a handicap match. He asks Sting to stay home, as he wants to prove to both of them he doesn't need Sting. Sting says that Darby reached his goals before he walked through the door, but Darby says it's not about that and that this is all he wants. Sting agrees and says he is not showing up, then both men fist bump.

We see a video package for Evil Uno vs. Miro for the AEW TNT Championship, where Evil Uno talks about his friendship with Miro before saying that Miro is about to find out just how devious he can be.

Miro retains the AEW TNT Championship against Evil Uno with Game over. During the match, Stu Grayson and Alan "5" Angels show up to encourage Evil Uno to get back into the ring, and when Evil Uno gts back in, Miro clotheslines Stu Grayson and chases Alan Angels to the back. We see a video package for Andrade el Idolo, who will be interviewed by Jim Ross next week.

Tony Schiavone interviews Kenny Omega, who shows up with Don Callis. Callis tells Schiavone to stop insulting Kenny Omega, saying that he and Omega have overcome a conspiracy to take the AEW Championship off Omega, then calls Jungle Boy a one-hit wonder. Omega says that he should sell the match like Jungle Boy is a worthy contender, but he cannot bring himself to say anything disparaging about Jungle Boy because he sees a young Kenny Omega in him. He says that Jungle Boy will be a champion like him one day, but he and Callis agree that Jungle Boy does not have the guts to get in the ring with Omega. Suddenly, Jungle Boy shows up. Omega says that he has known Jungle Boy to be a promo guy, and says that he has nothing to say because he does not have the guts and because nobody is better than him on the microphone. Omega then gives Jungle Boy five seconds to say something, and Jungle tells Omega he talks way too much. Omega swings at Jungle Boy, but Jungle Boy ducks and the two men brawl. Jungle Boy goes for the Snare Trap, but Jungle Boy wisely rolls out of the ring when The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) show up.

We hear from Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling. Sterling says the monetization plan is in full effect and that Cargill is making 43% more money as it is ensured her family is fed for a long time to come. Cargill then says that the women's division cannot keep her out of their mouths, and says she is successful because she is "that bitch."

Backstage, Scorpio Sky says he and Ethan Page gave Darby Allin an opportunity to pick a partner who would not do all the work for him, but he could not even get that right and now wants to fight them alone. Scorpio Sky calls this Darby's dumbest decision, and "All Ego" Ethan Page says that bit by bit, they will break Darby Allin and rise to the next level.

Lance Archer quickly beats Chandler Hopkins.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews John "4" Silver, who says he is ready for tonight's match before dodging Coffin Drops from the rest of The Dark Order for talking with "Hangman" Adam Page, who wishes him good luck.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Cezar Bononi.

We hear from Lance Archer, who says that he looked up to Sting and says that without him, there is no Lance Archer. He says that Sting's time should be his time, and that Sting's bat used to mean something. He then says that people will soon pay attention to him, and if they do not, the walls will come crushing down on them when his boot kicks them in. He says that his name will be remembered, and sooner or later, it will be showtime.

Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. on the stage. Britt Baker disapproves of the warm welcome the crowd gives her after last week and calls them as disrespectful at Thunder Rosa, then says Thunder Rosa should be thanking her every day she wakes up, as she will be forever remembered now thanks to her and the history that she wrote with her own blood. She then says Thunder Rosa had the audacity to stand in her company and women's division and say that she was the one to put the women's division on the map. She then asks why everyone is talking about her and not Thunder Rosa before saying she does not need the adulation of wrestling legends and experts. She says that she became a hardcore legend in one night when it took Mick Foley twenty years, then says she has never been able to see more clearly than before last week, saying that Tony Khan has been digging up every legend and "has-been" when he has one under his nose in her when she put AEW on the map last week. She then says that AEW is the second-most important set of letters behind D.M.D.

Backstage, The Varsity Blondes (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) are talking with Dante Martin and Christian Cage. After Christian checks up on Darius Martin, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Christian. Christian says he is getting to know people backstage while giving some friendly advice when Frankie Kazarian shows up to meet with Christian. Kazarian says he is happy for him, then sees his "Out. Work. Everyone." and says that he has lived by that advice before asking when the "work" part will begin. Christian says it starts next week, but he does not have an opponent, and asks Kazarian if he is free. Kazarian tells Christian "You're on," then asks him to check out his match this Monday night on AEW Dark Elevation, as seven years is a long time to be out of the ring.

The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Shawn Spears) beat Dante Martin and The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) in a six-man tag match. After the match, Wardlowlays out Brian Pillman Jr. and Dante Martin, then Tony Schiavone interviews The Pinnacle in the ring. Cash Wheeler says The Pinnacle is not just a name or a group, but family, and he will live and die for them as he has no wife and kid waiting for him and home. Harwood says Santana and Ortiz have done well for themselves, but he and Wheeler are not fooled and tells them to ask for The Pinnacle to see where they stand in the business. MJF says he thought Chris Jericho would show up and break the walls down by now, but Jericho is now only breaking whatever chair he decides to sit on. He then tells Jericho to grab The Inner Circle and face him right now before saying he will not do it because they are terrified. When Schiavone reminds MJF that The Pinnacle took out The Inner Circle, MJF stops him, then says that next week, he has the gift of a lifetime for The Pinnacle when it comes to all the gold they are about to win.

We hear from Team Taz (Taz, "The Machine" Brian Cage, "Absolute" Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook). Taz says there are a lot of conspiracy theories concerning Team Taz, but assures there are no problems in the team, that everything is good and that Cage apologized to the group and directly to Ricky Starks for his actions last week. Hobbs, Hook, Starks and Cage all say that they are doing fine.

Tony Schiavone interviews QT Marshall on the stage. Marshall says he is frustrated, and says that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes taught him the value of doing the work. He then says there is nobody else in AEW other than Tony Khan who has done more actual work than him, and while he has been thrown some bones, he has to do a lot of behind-the-scenes work when the show is over while Cody sleeps in the hotel. He says that he woke up one day and realized that there is not a ladder he can't jump off of or a match he can't win without an asterisk and "Cody's friend" next to it. He says that the only way to get out of Cody's shadow is to have an exhibition match against Cody himself so he can prove he not only belongs, but can hang with the best in AEW. He says he cannot control what anyone else does in AEW, he can control what he does, and he wil not continue to take meaningless bumps and jeapordize his quality of life only to stay in Cody's shadow. Cody shows up wearing a cast on his left arm, and while he admits his heart is not into this, he will gladly accomodate the fans and the Nightmare Family. He then gives Marshall his exhibition match and makes "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson the referee. He says that while he cannot just let Marshall win, he will not hurt him in case he locks in the Figure Four or hooks the Cross Rhodes. He says that when AEW had blossoming success and he filled a spot people thought he wouldn't, people got angry and Marshall not only became a good assistant, but a friend in a business full of acquaintances. Cody says that Marshall might be his friend, but they will have the exhibition match, friend to friend. Cody and Marshall shake hands.

Matt Jackson's wife Dana and their two children, Zack and Courtney, are seen in the front row before the next match.

Laredo Kid and The Lucha Bros. (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix) beat The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Brandon Cutler in a six-man tag match. (The match is Laredo's Kid's first AEW match since Fyter Fest 2019.) After the match, Kenny Omega shows up with Don Callis and blindsides Laredo Kid with the microphone before attacking him with the AEW World Championship. He takes the microphone and says he remembers three yars ago when he and the Bucks had a choice, and while he never chose AEW, he chose The Young Bucks and the vision they created to make AEW the best wrestling promotion on the planet. He then says that instead of sitting in the high school cafeteria with the cool kids and the captain of the football team, they chose Brandon Cutler, and while he chose the Bucks, the Bucks never chose him back. He says that while Don Callis can be a little abrasive, he will give the Bucks one more chance before telling them to toss the "Too Sweet" hand signal up to see if they are still with him. Matt, Nick and Cutler walk away, and after Omega says he and the Bucks are done, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix lay Omega out.
