During the match, Brandon Cutler and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) show up, but Orange hits Cutler with a top rope cross body and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Barretta, Wheeler Yuta) run in to take down the Bucks. Near the end of the match, Bobby Fish shows up and distracts the referee, and Kyle O'Reilly shows up from behind Orange Cassidy and attacks him. After the match, O'Reilly attacks Orange, then Adam Cole confronts O'Reilly. When Chuck Taylor and Trent Barretta show up, O'Reilly and Cole team up against him along with Bobby Fish. The three of them then stand tall together as The Young Bucks head to the ring. The Young Bucks want an explanation from Cole, then Cole, Fish and O'Reilly leave.

We see a video package for last week's match between Bryan Danielson and "Hangman" Adam Page for the AEW World Championship. The rematch will be in two weeks' time.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Hangman" Adam Page in the ring. Page says that he was handed back the AEW World Championship after 60 minutes, and after the match, he thought it was funny that after three years, he had never felt less of a champion. He says the only feeling he has from last week was disappointment. Suddenly, Bryan Danielson shows up and calls Adam Page an "entitled millennial cowboy" and mocks him for being disappointed. Danielson says that he kicked Page's ass for 60 minutes and that if anyone should be AEW World Champion, it should be him. He then says that he will not cry about his feelings and that he will kick Page's ass again in the rematch, but this time, he won't have a bad leg from wrestling John Silver and he will not wrestle again until the rematch. Danielson then says that if he stalls for another 60 minutes, they will be in the same position they are now again. He then says he is not an entitled millennial like the fans and proposes that there are judges in the rematch, so if Page stalls again, Danielson will be the true champion. After Danielson says he had last week's match won, Page praises Danielson from taking him into deep waters and to his limit, then says he swam in the final seconds and that he would have drowned Danielson if he had three more seconds. Nevertheless, Page is okay with the time limit and the judges, and says he has come way too far, spilled too much blood and spent so much of himself for the AEW World Championship to be told he is "a B-plus player." He says that as far as whether or not he can beat Danielson goes, the answer is "yes."

We hear from The Pinnacle. MJF thanks Shawn Spears for being accountable for Wardlow, then says that CM Punk drives people insane and burns bridges, which is why he and FTR are not worried about tonight. He says they are family unlike CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin, then says Punk has to make everything about himself and that the real CM Punk comes out to play when it isn't. He says that Punk is more rusty than the knife Darby uses to skin small animals and that Punk chose early retirement when he messed with him. Dax Harwood says that he has no problem with CM Punk, but Punk threatened him and that he, MJF and Cash Wheeler are the three kings of professional wrestling.

Wardlow beats "The Captain" Shawn Dean with four powerbombs, then Shawn Spears hits Shawn Dean with a chair.

We see a video package for "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship for this week's Rampage.

We suddenly hear from Dan Lambert and The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page). Lambert says the fans are not leadership material, and says every decision he makes must be fair for his fighters so the most successful are the most deserving. He then says that Tony Khan uses the buddy system and says that whoever isn't his buddy ends up the opening act, then says that Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page will be sitting on the sidelines while Cody Rhodes gets another title shot. He also says that Tony Khan has set him up for failure because he does not like him, and says he cannot get people to cheer for Cody when Cody is a bigger dick than he is. Lambert then says he does not care who the fans cheer or boo, because his only concern is that Scorpio Sky or Ethan Page get the next title shot, as they will not need help from anyone in the back to bring the TNT Championship back to American Top Team.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., who says she is bigger and stronger than Riho - and also has Jamie Hayter by her side - before saying that 2021 cannot be brought up without bringing her up, as she built her own throne and the women's division from the ground up. She says that 2022 will not start with Riho taking the AEW Women's World Championship, and tells Riho she should have stayed underneath the bottom rope at All Out, then tells Riho she is out of her league before saying "You'll shoot your eye out, kid."

The superstars of AEW talk about their memories of Owen Hart before The Owen Hart Cup Tournament is announced.

Ruby Soho beats "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose after dragging Nyla off the top rope into No Future after hitting Vickie Guerrero with an enzuigiri to advance in the TBS Championship Tournament. (Before the match, a man in the front row is holding up a sign saying "Nyla Rose is this guy's dad" with a arrow pointing right. Not surprisingly, he gets flipped off by Nyla as Nyla enters the ring and the man gets kicked out.)

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb.

Malakai Black beats Griff Garrison with a single leg crab. After the match, Brian Pillman Jr. pushes Black out of the hold, but Black hits him with Black Mass.

We hear from Matt Hardy and Private Party. Matt Hardy says he wants to see Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) as #1 contenders to the tag team titles and that Isiah Kassidy is going to "pound that ass" and injure Jungle Boy. We then hear from Luchasaurus, Christian Cage and Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy says that they will open some Christmas presents before shoving coal up Isiah Kassidy's ass and leave him coughing up diamonds. Christian Cage then plugs their limited edition Christmas shirt as he tells Matt Hardy to get his guys something nice.

CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin beat The Pinnacle (MJF, Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler) in a six-man tag match. After the match, MJF calls Punk a coward on a commentary headset.

After Callis says they will get the AEW tag team titles back, Nick Jackson announces they got their best friend back, and introduces Adam Cole to the ring. Cole stares down Schiavone and tells him that if he looks at Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. the wrong way, he will slap the glasses off his face and whup his ass, then tells him to get out of the ring. Schiavone reluctantly leaves the ring, then Cole says AEW is the best wrestling company in the world because of everyone from The Elite down to the fans who paid a ticket to be here. Cole says that he has been elite for a long time and has won world title while proving he is a once-in-a-generation wrestler, and says he is now with the best in The Elite, whom everyone should be thanking now that they are complete. He then announces that he will make his in-ring debut for AEW next week, and says that when he proves how good he is, he will show how elite The Elite really is. Kenny Omega then brings up the interruption from Bryan Danielson last week only for Bryan Danielson to show up again. He thanks Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Marko Stunt, the camera crew and the fans before leading the crowd into a sing-along of "Thank You For Being A Friend." The Hardy Family Office (Matt Hardy and The Blade) and The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) beat The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman) and The Sydal Brothers (Matt and Mike Sydal) after The Bunny distracts the referee so that The Blade can knock Mike Sydal out with brass knuckles. (After the show airs, it has to be re-uploaded without The Acclaimed's entrance, much less anyone else's, due to the lines "make you claim mental health like Simone Biles" and "I'm gonna treat these bitches like Duke lacrosse" - references to Simone Biles pulling out of the Tokyo Olympcs and the 2006 Duke University men's lacrosse team rape scandal - as well as a "Julie [Hart]'s vagina" lyric being censored by Anthony Bowen in Max Caster's entrance rap causing a furor with fans even after footage of the entrance - which is constantly being taken down on social media via DMCA takedown notices - is posted on social media by fans who recorded it at the venue before Dark aired. This causes Tony Khan to condemn the lyrics in this entrance and take over editing duties for Dark from this point forward.) After the match, Matt Hardy, The Blade and The Bunny attack Mike Sydal until Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus) chase them out of the ring. The Varsity Blonds and The Acclaimed then brawl in the ring, with The Varsity Blonds coming out on top.

Legit" Leyla Hirsch beats Diamante with the cross arm breaker. During the match, The Bunny runs to the ring with a chair, places it in the ring and distracts Leyla Hirsch. As Hirsch is distracted, Diamante goes for the chair, but Big Swole keeps her from taking it. Leyla Hirsch soon locks in the cross arm breaker for the win. After the match, Big Swole gets in the ring and beats Diamante up, then both women brawl on the ramp.

Jon Moxley beats Brick Aldridge with a sleeper.

Penelope Ford beats Reka Tehaka by submission.

Jade Cargill and "Smart" Mark Sterling show up. Sterling addresses the submissions for the Jade Brand sent in by fans, and Cargill and Sterling state that they are all horrible, with Cargill stating that nobody could come up with one decent idea. She says that she is "the crossover" and that people stop flipping channels when they see her. Sterling then announces that the Jade Brand is part of the Nocking Point Winery and that he is studying to be a sommelier before stating that the characteristics of Charlotte, North Carolina are a hint of burnt rubber, wafting scents of body odor and a pitch of human feces. Sterling then puts Jade Cargill on a pedestal and says that the fans cannot wait to see what is next.

Eddie Kingston beats Dante Martin. Before the match, Darius Martin returns for the first time in months to accompany Dante to the ring.

After Dark Elevation - AEW Dark Elevation recap for June 21, 2021

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Matt Sydal, who says that he and his brother Mike Sydal stand up for each other, and while they are cool and calm, they have claws and he can see through TheHybrid2 (Angelico and Jack Evans) and Matt Hardy.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson with the Reverse Figure Four from Harwood to Nelson.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats Delmi Exo.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) beat Baron Black and Tamilian Vineesh. (Before the match, Caster raps that Baron Black dares not attack The Acclaimed, which leads to Baron Black getting hit with the boombox in Bowens' hand. Afterwards, Bowens punches out Vineesh.)

The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) beat Bums R Us (Milo and Raymond Beasley).

Kris Statlander beats Renee Michelle.

We hear from Taz and Powerhouse Hobbs. Taz introduces "Hangman" Adam Page to his fate in Hobbs, then Hobbs tells Page to put down the whiskey and ask himself if he can kick his ass before telling him to saddle up, jump on his horse and leave the Ponderosa so he can beat the hell out of him.

Matt Hardy beats Jora Johl (who has wrestled his first two AEW matches as "Robo"). After the match, Matt tells Jora that he showed him that he has true potential and knows that he has come from India to chase the American dream, then mentions that he knows that if Jora does not become a success story, his papers are going to expire very soon and he will have to leave the United States. He then says that a wealthy, powerful man like himself can correct those issues and help him stay here to chase his dream of becoming a success in AEW, but warns him that it will cost him more than a small fee. Matt Hardy states that since Jora Johl is starting from the very bottom, he hopes that Jora is good at sweeping the floor, ironing clothes, shining shoes and taking care of the Hardy Family Office's menial work. He then says he can make Jora a king, then tells him that he will be in touch.

The Pinnacle (Shawn Spears and Wardlow) beat Ryzin and Kal Herro by referee stoppage after Wardlow knocks Ryzin out with a knee.

Powerhouse Hobbs beats Darien Bengston.

Before the next match, Mark Sterling announces that just minutes ago, he and Jade Cargill signed on with one of the world's most premier news agencies, and that Cargill is now the face of the Black News Channel. Sterling calls Cargill a positive influence his daughter can look up to, as she is a rich athlete with a degree and "doesn't take any beep from anybody." He then says that they are still taking offers from anyone who wants to be part of "Team Jade."

Jade Cargill quickly beats Robyn Renegade.

We hear from Jora Johl, who says that wrestling his hero Matt Hardy was a dream come true for someone who grew up in a small town in Punjab, India. He then says that Matt Hardy is not the same hero he used to look up to, and mentions Matt Hardy's post-match offer. He says that the offer is tempting, but he does not know if he should do it. Jora Johl says he will consider the offer, however.

Penta el Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston beat Vary Morales and Fuego del Sol.

Jungle Boy beats Cezar Bononi after Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt stop the rest of The Wingmen ("Pretty" Peter Avalon, "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth, JD Drake) from interfering.

Matt Sydal beats Jack Evans.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 24, 2021

Kenny Omega beats Matt Sydal. (Had Sydal won, he would have faced Kenny Omega again for the AEW World Championship.)

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews John "4" Silver, who says he is ready for tonight's match before dodging Coffin Drops from the rest of The Dark Order for talking with "Hangman" Adam Page, who wishes him good luck.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Cezar Bononi.

We hear from Lance Archer, who says that he looked up to Sting and says that without him, there is no Lance Archer. He says that Sting's time should be his time, and that Sting's bat used to mean something. He then says that people will soon pay attention to him, and if they do not, the walls will come crushing down on them when his boot kicks them in. He says that his name will be remembered, and sooner or later, it will be showtime.

Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. on the stage. Britt Baker disapproves of the warm welcome the crowd gives her after last week and calls them as disrespectful at Thunder Rosa, then says Thunder Rosa should be thanking her every day she wakes up, as she will be forever remembered now thanks to her and the history that she wrote with her own blood. She then says Thunder Rosa had the audacity to stand in her company and women's division and say that she was the one to put the women's division on the map. She then asks why everyone is talking about her and not Thunder Rosa before saying she does not need the adulation of wrestling legends and experts. She says that she became a hardcore legend in one night when it took Mick Foley twenty years, then says she has never been able to see more clearly than before last week, saying that Tony Khan has been digging up every legend and "has-been" when he has one under his nose in her when she put AEW on the map last week. She then says that AEW is the second-most important set of letters behind D.M.D.

Backstage, The Varsity Blondes (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) are talking with Dante Martin and Christian Cage. After Christian checks up on Darius Martin, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Christian. Christian says he is getting to know people backstage while giving some friendly advice when Frankie Kazarian shows up to meet with Christian. Kazarian says he is happy for him, then sees his "Out. Work. Everyone." and says that he has lived by that advice before asking when the "work" part will begin. Christian says it starts next week, but he does not have an opponent, and asks Kazarian if he is free. Kazarian tells Christian "You're on," then asks him to check out his match this Monday night on AEW Dark Elevation, as seven years is a long time to be out of the ring.

The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Shawn Spears) beat Dante Martin and The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) in a six-man tag match. After the match, Wardlowlays out Brian Pillman Jr. and Dante Martin, then Tony Schiavone interviews The Pinnacle in the ring. Cash Wheeler says The Pinnacle is not just a name or a group, but family, and he will live and die for them as he has no wife and kid waiting for him and home. Harwood says Santana and Ortiz have done well for themselves, but he and Wheeler are not fooled and tells them to ask for The Pinnacle to see where they stand in the business. MJF says he thought Chris Jericho would show up and break the walls down by now, but Jericho is now only breaking whatever chair he decides to sit on. He then tells Jericho to grab The Inner Circle and face him right now before saying he will not do it because they are terrified. When Schiavone reminds MJF that The Pinnacle took out The Inner Circle, MJF stops him, then says that next week, he has the gift of a lifetime for The Pinnacle when it comes to all the gold they are about to win.

We hear from Team Taz (Taz, "The Machine" Brian Cage, "Absolute" Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook). Taz says there are a lot of conspiracy theories concerning Team Taz, but assures there are no problems in the team, that everything is good and that Cage apologized to the group and directly to Ricky Starks for his actions last week. Hobbs, Hook, Starks and Cage all say that they are doing fine.

Tony Schiavone interviews QT Marshall on the stage. Marshall says he is frustrated, and says that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes taught him the value of doing the work. He then says there is nobody else in AEW other than Tony Khan who has done more actual work than him, and while he has been thrown some bones, he has to do a lot of behind-the-scenes work when the show is over while Cody sleeps in the hotel. He says that he woke up one day and realized that there is not a ladder he can't jump off of or a match he can't win without an asterisk and "Cody's friend" next to it. He says that the only way to get out of Cody's shadow is to have an exhibition match against Cody himself so he can prove he not only belongs, but can hang with the best in AEW. He says he cannot control what anyone else does in AEW, he can control what he does, and he wil not continue to take meaningless bumps and jeapordize his quality of life only to stay in Cody's shadow. Cody shows up wearing a cast on his left arm, and while he admits his heart is not into this, he will gladly accomodate the fans and the Nightmare Family. He then gives Marshall his exhibition match and makes "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson the referee. He says that while he cannot just let Marshall win, he will not hurt him in case he locks in the Figure Four or hooks the Cross Rhodes. He says that when AEW had blossoming success and he filled a spot people thought he wouldn't, people got angry and Marshall not only became a good assistant, but a friend in a business full of acquaintances. Cody says that Marshall might be his friend, but they will have the exhibition match, friend to friend. Cody and Marshall shake hands.

Matt Jackson's wife Dana and their two children, Zack and Courtney, are seen in the front row before the next match.

Laredo Kid and The Lucha Bros. (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix) beat The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Brandon Cutler in a six-man tag match. (The match is Laredo's Kid's first AEW match since Fyter Fest 2019.) After the match, Kenny Omega shows up with Don Callis and blindsides Laredo Kid with the microphone before attacking him with the AEW World Championship. He takes the microphone and says he remembers three yars ago when he and the Bucks had a choice, and while he never chose AEW, he chose The Young Bucks and the vision they created to make AEW the best wrestling promotion on the planet. He then says that instead of sitting in the high school cafeteria with the cool kids and the captain of the football team, they chose Brandon Cutler, and while he chose the Bucks, the Bucks never chose him back. He says that while Don Callis can be a little abrasive, he will give the Bucks one more chance before telling them to toss the "Too Sweet" hand signal up to see if they are still with him. Matt, Nick and Cutler walk away, and after Omega says he and the Bucks are done, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix lay Omega out. After they and Laredo Kid leave, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) show up to help up Omega, who is now bleeding from the mouth.

We hear from Jade Cargill, who says that Red Velvet made the biggest mistake in her career by getting in her face. She says that she beat her a couple of weeks ago, and yet Red Velvet is coming back for more. She says that she is on the road to greatness while Red Velvet is just a pit stop on the road to her throne, and while they are undefeated in singles match, there can only be one and she is the one. She tells Red Velvet that when she steps in the ring, she will be stepping in the ring with "that bitch."

We see a teaser for a brand new TNT series called "Rhodes To The Top", a reality show that focuses on "The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes' work life and family life.

We hear from Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston. Kingston says he has broken things before and has come back from it, then tells The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) that this is not New Japan or about selling some tacky T-shirts, saying that they will pay for this when they put them in the morgue for taking him out. Moxley says The Good Brothers must ask themselves how far they are willing to take this, and says there is war on the streets of Jacksonville, Florida. Moxley then admits he does not like The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), but says he owes them one after last week, and while he has no patience for the melodrama that is going on, they are playing with live rounds. He tells The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) that if they want to get in the game, they had better be willing to get their hands dirty.

Tay Conti beats "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose. After the match, Vickie Guerrero grabs Tay Conti by the leg from the outside, allowing Nyla to grab Tay Conti. As she goes for the Beast Bomb, Hikaru Shida shows up, hits Nyla Rose in the bac with a Kendo stick and goes for the ground and pound. The Bunny then shows up and attacks both Tay Conti and Hikaru Shida while Matt Hardy, The Butcher and The Blade watch from the stage. Matt Hardy then says that the AEW Women's Championship Eliminator Tournament was terrible and a sham because The Bunny was not in it, then says that his clients have been overlooked for far too long. He says that this ends now.

We see a video package that previews the Arcade Anarchy match next week between Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy) and the team of "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Miro.

Next week: Hikaru Shida and Tay Conti vs. The Bunny and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose! Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) vs. The Lucha Bros. (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix) and Laredo Kid! "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. QT Marshall! Chrsitian Cage vs. Frankie Kazarian!

We hear from Scorpio Sky, who says that he has shown a side that the fans have not seen and that he has been screwed over and over again. He says that everyone has to stop pretending that he is not uniquely gifted, because humility only gives people a reasaon to underrate someone and his days of being underrated are over. He says that at AEW Dark Elevation, it will be time for Matt Sydal to pay the rent, and if Mike Sydal wants to get involved, then he is not just one man, but a whole revolution.

Darby Allin retains the AEW TNT Championship against John "4" Silver. During the match, Sting shows up with a bat in his hand and watches from the stage. Both men fist bump after the match, then Matt Hardy drags Allin out of the ring before he, The Butcher, The Blade and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) fight The Dark Order. Tay Conti shows up to fight The Bunny, and the show ends with both sides continuing to brawl.
