Slice Boogie then shows up as part of the interview. Slice says that last time he was here, he won the Golden Opportunity. He tells the fans he promised to give his all until the wheels fell off. Punk says the last thing he ever wanted to do was let down or disappoint the fans, and says that he does not regret a single second in a wrestling ring, then says that he is injured and needs surgery. He says that while he is heartbroken, the wheels have not fallen off and only one of them is broken, and while he has felt better, he has felt worse. Punk then says he does not want to hold AEW up and that there are many people in the back who can fill his shoes, then says he is not going to stand in anyone's way. Scorpio Sky then blasts Kazarian with the TNT Championship. Dan Lambert screams "I love it when a plan comes together!" before Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky stomp away at Kazarian, but when Lambert taunts Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti, Sammy and Tay jump the guardrail and force him, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky to retreat.
