Backstage, Anthony Bowens meets with Hook and says that he can be a killer. Hook has Bowens take the camera from Shibata and follow him and Shibata around as they choke a random guy out for wanting to join The Opps (Hook and Shibata) and having no way to get out of the Redrum.

Mark Briscoe guests on commentary for the next match.

Daniel Garcia beats Tommaso Ciampa after Garcia goes up to Mark Briscoe and shoves him by the face, causing Garcia to whip Ciampa into Briscoe when Briscoe comes after him. After the match, Ciampa gets angry at Briscoe and refuses to shake his hand. As Brisco leaves, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway show up, and Briscoe gets back in the ring to stand alongside Ciampa. Ciampa and Briscoe leave, and in a call back to NXT TakeOver: Chicago, Ciampa sends Briscoe head-first into the video screen before hitting him with a running knee and washing his backside with Briscoe's bandanna.

We see a video package for "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita vs. Claudio Castagnoli later tonight.

Swerve Strickland beats Gravity, even ripping Gravity's mask during the match.

In backstage footage from after Dynamite, we hear from Kris Statlander, who says that she will only speak when she needs to, and now, she needs to. She says she and Thekla have beaten each other once, but once is not enough, and at Revolution, they will have two out of three falls and Thekla's killing is coming twice.

We hear from "The Toxic Spider" Thekla, who asks when the challenger dictates what the match is and that she is not doing the two out of three falls match, but quickly reconsiders after asking what makes Kris Statlander think she can beat her twice, and says that Statlander wears sunglasses and all leather because she cannot look her in the eye anymore and wants to be like her. Thekla then says Thunder Rosa should have listened to her, and now she has sent her back to Tijuna, then tells Statlander to take her own advice and quit while she is alive, for everything Statlander is afraid of is everything she is.

We see a preview of AEW Close Up with Jon Moxley.

Dalton Castle guests on commentary for the next match.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat The Swirl ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson), La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and Dralistico) and The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) in a $200,000 four-way tag team match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight). Knight calls Wednesday one of the hardest nights of his career because he came close to becoming AEW World Champion. He knows that more opportunities will come to him, but he also feels like he let Jet Set Rodeo (Speedball, Knight, "Hangman" Adam Page) down when he cost them the World Trios Championships. Speedball says they all lost, and while Hangman's situation with MJF made things more difficult, everything is good now, for at Revolution, they will team with Mistico and take back the World Trios Championships from The Don Callis Family ("The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, Mark Davis). Speedball says that he has what it takes to hold two championships and beat Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship. Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana show up, and Strickland wants to know why Knight does not know what it took, as he does not apply the pressure when he has his foot on the opponent's neck. Swerve tells Knight that if he wants to face killers, he must become one.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) when Megabad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) and Lena Kross go on the attack.

Lena Kross and Megan Bayne beat Timeless Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) after "The Problem" Marina Shafir attacks Toni Storm.

Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe. Briscoe says he has known Tommaso Ciampa for a long time, and ever since Ciampa showed up in AEW, something felt off until Ciampa did what he did to him tonight. He says that this was the Ciampa that he remembered and expected. He blames himself for not trusting his instincts and letting his guard down, then calls Ciampa a coward for jumping him and aligning himself with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). He then challenges Ciampa and FTR to a six-man tag team match against himself and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson).

The Dogs (Gabe Kidd, "100 Proof" Clark Connors and David Finlay) beat Cosmo Orion, GMO Kaminari and Jaden Monroe.

"Timeless" Toni Storm shows up. She says that all "The Problem" Marina Shafir talks about is competition, yet the only one with a set of ovaries willing to fight alone is Jon Moxley. She says that she and Shafir are going to Hollywood and she wants everyone banned from ringside so it is just the two of them with nobody to stop them. She then wants the AEW Women's World Championship back before telling Shafir that she will see her at Revolution.

We see footage from last night's CMLL event where Persephone beats Mercedes Moné to win the CMLL Women's World Championship.

Jon Moxley guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita beats Claudio Castagnoli after Hechicero stops Claudio from using the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship as a weapon. After the match, Takeshita and Jon Moxley have a staredown, and when Hechicero punches Moxley - which causes Takeshita to stop Hechicero, telling him that it is not necesssary and that he can beat Moxley - this starts a brawl that continues until the end of the show in which Castagnoli and Shafir are also involved.

He says opportunites do not come around often and that this could be the last chance for them to show that they are main event players, and tells them to take advantage of those opportunities before they dry up and go away. He tells then to live up to the potential that he saw in both of them, or else he will not know what to do with them. Jericho leaves, and Big Bill and Bryan Keith refuse to comment afterwards.

Athena retains the ROH Women's World Championship against La Catalina. After the match, Athena hits La Catalina with a cheap shot.

We hear from MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor), who have fun with their stolen ROH World Tag Team Championship belt. They say they are still tag team champion despite losing in Grand Slam Australia, and state that Australia is not a real country. Dante Martin beats "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson.

In backstage footage from Final Battle, we hear from Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page. Ethan says he has said that he was great, but he has not believed his own words until recently and that he has "faked it until he made it." He says that he means everything he says now and that he can smell the fear and insecurity in the locker room. He says that he is not alone anymore and that he can back his words up by having one of the best champions in his corner. Scorpio Sky remembers Ethan Page having his back when he was TNT Champion, then says he is here to back Ethan Page up until he can bring championship gold home.

Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) beat "All Heart" Blake Christian and Willie Mack.

She also tells Garrison and Karter that she has signed a conract for an eight-man tag match and that they need some tag team partner. When Karter says he is okay with whomever Maria has picked, Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico) appear and high-five each other, then leave. Karter quickly changes his tune, but Maria says they are great.

Taya Valkyrie beats Vertvixen.

Backstage, we hear from Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty). Shane Taylor says that Final Battle did not exactly go to plan for them, and Lee Moriarty says that while he has come up short and may have hit a plateau, he is not stopping here because he is motivated and he is not stopping until he reaches the top. Shane Taylor says that everyone is on notice and that one's hands cannot hit what one's eyes cannot se and that everyone is getting put down.

He says that the television title was his ticket onto every screen in the world and that he was going to buy the respect that he deserved. Suddenly, "Legit" Leyla Hirsch and Rachael Ellering confront Maria for trying to stop Rachael from winning tonight, and Leyla is not buying Maria's explanation for what she was doing. Rachael says their dynamic is not going to get them any closer to the Women's Television title, and Leyla says that if this is Maria's way of helping them, then she does not want it. Maria tells them to see what they do without her help, for it will not be good and her spotlight will always outshine theirs everyday. With Maria out of the way, Rachael and Leyla pledge to do their best.

Gravity, Dalton Castle and The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) beat The Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico), Griff Garrison and Cole Karter in an eight-man tag match. He says that Brody King is not a small man, and that he must get ready to fight him.

Luchasaurus - now officially known as Killswitch - beats The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) in a two-on-one handicap match. After the match, Killswitch pulls two chairs out from underneath the ring, unfolds one and chokeslams one of The Boys onto it before grabbing the other Boy. Suddenly, Adam Copeland shows up from behind Killswitch and hits him repeatedly with a chair, then pulls the bottom bar from the chair and puts him in a crossface with it. Copeland then goes for and hits the Con-Chair-To on Killswitch. Somehow, Killswitch tries to pull himself up afterwards, and Copeland responds with a curb stomp onto a chair before hitting another Con-Chair-To.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Adam Copeland. Copeland shows up and tells Lexy Nair to leave, then looks straight at the camera and addresses Christian Cage, saying that everything that has happened to Killswitch and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne is all on Christian and his insecurities, as Christian thought that everyone would compare him to Copeland as soon as Copeland arrived and would become second fiddle again. Copeland says he could care less about that and that their friendship is more important than anything else, and yet Christian could not get past his own ego. He says that Christian was about to Con-Chair-To Sting the night he showed up, and last Wednesday, Christian almost hit a Con-Chair-To on Shayna Wayne. He also mentions Christian mentioning Beth Phoenix as well as his two children and reminds Christian that he has a short fuse, and that he would not let Christian light it until Christian made it clear that he would break his neck. Copeland then says that Christian is not only threatening him and his furutre, but also his children's futures, and now he is hunting Christian. Copeland says he already has two heads on his wall, and he tells Christian to ask Nick Wayne and Killswitch what happens when he snaps, for he will change his soul and kick his face in, and when Christian closes his eyes, he will picture him and the pain he will bring into his world. He then says he will take the TNT Championship, which is secondary to him, because it is the most important thing in his world, and on Dynamite on December 6th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he will go places that Christian will never go because he does not have the dog in him while he takes Christian's title.

The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) beat Komander and Gravity after Buddy Matthews curb stomps Komander as Komander is being taunted by Malakai Black.

Andretti says he and Darius have teamed up for eight months and that they have created a bond together, and next week, Dynamite will be in Darius' hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He says that he does not need two men to beat them and that Hobbs alone can do it. Hobbs says he is big, Black and jacked, and anyone can get it.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). After the match, The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) show up and tells FTR that nobody is coming to save them - not even CM Punk - and that AEW is not the brotherhood that FTR thinks it is. The lights then go out, and when they come back on, The House of Black are nowhere to be seen.

Action Andretti and Dante Martin's promo announcing Darius Martin's return from Rampage is replayed due to TNT going to commercial earlier than expected.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Big Bill in the ring. Starks says he expected more of a fight from Chris Jericho, and he knows that the "clout vampire" that is Chris Jericho will try to come back around and bite his neck, but it will not happen. Big Bill says "The Golden Jets" are more like "The Golden Girls" when it comes to Jericho and Kenny Omega, and Starks says that while he and Big Bill barely know each other, he knows that Jericho and Omega are not built like Big Bill. Big Bill goes on to say that four years ago, while he was going in and out of emergency rooms due to seizures from alcohol withdrawal, when he could not get out of bed while in the lowest point of his life, and when everyone counted him out and stopped believing in him, he always knew he would make it back to the top, and standing with Starks with the AEW World Tag Team Championship, he made it back to the top. He says that he and Starks know all about Jericho and Omega and know that they are two of the best to ever do this, but he does not think they realize who they are dealing with, as he and Starks are angry, motivated and ready to embarrass them. After comparing himself and Starks to legendary NBA basketball duos, he does not see any of the legendary Chicago Bulls players in Jericho or Omega; instead, he just sees "the dudes that hand Michael Jordan his Bazooka Joe bubble gum before starting line-ups are introduced." Starks says one tells everyone they are the best while the other is, and when all is said and done, he likes his gum minty fresh while Big Bill loves Big Red.

We see a video package for the participants in the Gold League of the Continental Classic, who are all in action next week on Dynamite.

Keith Lee beats "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Keith Lee. Lee says he planned to talk about how good and talented Lee Moriarty is, and while he is good, he is no Keith Lee. He says that he does care and that he is here, and even if he is not on the show, it does not mean he is not watching, scouting, training and taking things seriously. Claudio says that when he won the ROH World Championship, it was his first world championship, and it was an achievement after over twenty years of wrestling. He says he wanted to be the best wrestler possible, but then he lost the title to Chris Jericho, who did not even care about Ring of Honor. When he beat him to become World Champion, he was not as naive as he was before and he came in knowing that he had a simple job, and just because it was simple did not mean it was easy, as he had to let go of what he loved. He tells the viewers to imagine letting what they love go in order to take the next step, and says that he had to realize that as much love and passion as he had for wrestling, it was a burden, for it was his job to be ROH World Champion and keep people like Eddie Kingston and CM Punk away from his title. He says not many people can do what he does at the level that he does it, and he says not to brag or to get a pat on his shoulder, but because he knows what he is capable of and what he is asked of, which he admits frightens him, for he knows what he has to do to stay ROH World Champion. Claudio warns anyone who steps into the ring that he only respects competition and that at the end of the day, he has no personal attachment to his job and he is really good at it. He then warns anyone who wants to take the title from him that they will have to be better than him to do it.

Athena then says "Come on, minion, let's go," much to the confusion of Billie, who ends up leaving with Athena.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and Ari Daivari. Nese says everyone cares about making wrestling better, yet he cares about making the fans better, and every time he tries to do group training, he is interrupted. He says that ROH officials ensure that he has the floor every time, and that "Smart" Mark Sterling has ensured that he finally has the floor in a place where people are not that healthy. He then says that tonight, there will be a full-length group training session, because the fans here really need it.

"Big Shotty" Lee Johnson, Action Andretti and Darius Martin beat Lee Moriarty and The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) in a six-man tag match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Athena, who brings out Billie Starkz. Athena says today is a very special occasion, as she is with her "bestie" and Billie Starkz gets her very own "minion number" of "400,237 and 3/4" for her "service" to her. Billie Starkz brings up The Renegades (Charlette and Robyn Renegade) attacking them and challenges them to a tag team match, but Athena tells Billie that she is the one who does the thinking because she is the champion before ordering her to drive her to the mall.

Lady Frost beats Trish Adora.

Dalton Castle beats "Pretty" Peter Avalon.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Shane Taylor. Shane says that for six years, he was the man in Ring of Honor and the most dominant Television and Six-Man Tag Team Champion of all time and part of the most dominant group of all time, but no matter what he did to establish his legacy, people only wanted to talk about the old guard and there was nothing he could do, as he could not fight them at the time. Now that he is fighting Samoa Joe for the World Television Championship, the fans are hyped up and even the pros are talking about it. He tells Samoa Joe not to worry, as he is not going to pin or submit him, but he is going to beat him down and put him to sleep before he takes the World Television Championship and get back to building his legacy.

Before the next match, "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese says he usually opens up with a joke, but after seeing the health of the local fans, he finds nothing funny about it, and says everyone would rather eat their cook-out or drink their "terrible" Cheerwine than put a veggie burger in their mouths. Nese then says he has gotten "Smart" Mark Sterling to take care of a few things and that he has ROH's assurance that he will have an uninterrupted group training session, starting with some stretching. All of a sudden, Jerry Lynn tells Tony Nese that he cannot just start cancelling matches for group training and that even Tony Khan is tired of it, then introduces an opponent who is "a blast from [Tony's] past" in the form of Metalik.

Wheeler says he hates to do this, but MJF and Adam Cole have to learn not to mess with them. Dax Harwood says he could yell and scream about MJF all day, but he will not, and says MJF makes a mockery out of the business and their titles. He says there will be no dance routine or mockeries in their match and that their match will be a fight, and that he will "beat the shit out of MJF" and rip his eyeballs out for mentioning his family, and says that if they have to beat Adam Cole to do it, they will do it.
