Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 23, 2026

Backstage, The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) get mentally prepared for talent reviews before Jimmy Blaylock laughs an evil laugh.



Dustin Starr interviews Tim Bosby at the announce desk. Tim Bosby says that MJF decided to get cute to social media and threatens to rip his horns off and throw them to the ground, then says that Bryan Keith could not get the job done and that it is no wonder Chris Jericho threw him by the wayside. He alos says that the bounty on Mike Anthony's head is still active and is now increased to $10,000, then tells the crowd to shut up before calling Mike Anthony "nothing more than a cockroach."



Backstage, Matchmaker King Cobra tries to stop Mike Anthony from doing something regrettable. Cobra says they will do things by the book, telling him "do it right, do it all night." Mike Anthony takes his word for it.



K-Toomer retains the Big Mane Fight Championship against Big Jack (who has not been seen in Memphis Wrestling in quite some time). After the match, Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer, who says that the real goes through him and that he is bringing real back. He tells anybody to send their best but not to send anyone they want back, and wants his challengers to either beat him or become another victim.



Justin Case shows up for the first time in a while. He learns from "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock that he had a big problem, but he fired him. Jimmy says he will get him somebody bigger, better and smarter to get to the top. Justin Case then hands Jimmy a chain with a ring on it. (It is heavily implied that "The Problem" Aaron Roberts has been fired from Memphis Wrestling.)



We hear from "The Predator" Don Frye, who will be at the Tupelo Furniture Market for TBC Fights in Tupelo, Mississippi on June 20th, with a portion of the proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The Modern Day Monsters (Bruce and Morrow) beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) after Lamonte hides behind the comentary table and then runs back to the locker room, with Bradley unable to bring him back to the ring. After the match, Lamonte hightails it away from the WrestleCenter through the parking lot, with Bradley not too far behind.



We see footage of Big John Dalton and Big Daddy at the Baptist Cancer Center interspersed with Big John Dalton's announcement from last week.

Backstage, The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) meet with "The Gift" Ray Sanders, Derrick and Matchmaker King Cobra after they receive a text from "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, who tells the three of them to get their pink slips ready.



Dustin Starr interviews Raven Black at the announce desk. Raven Black threatens to send Dustin Starr to the ER just like all the other women she has attacked to prove she is the baddest woman in Memphis Wrestling. Suddenly, Big Mama shows up for the first time in months and starts a brawl. Officials and security have to separate both women and restore order. Big Mama says that if Raven Black wants to be the biggest and the baddest, then they can have a street fight next week.



Backstage, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock meets with Diana Taylor. Diana tells Blaylock that if he stays out of her way, she will stay out of his.



Diana Taylor retains the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship against Mama Ally (formerly known as Ally X and Mama Money).



Lil' Homie meets with Tim Grind in the parking lot. Both of them are serious about today's main event match. Meanwhile, Gavin White tells Kevin White that he still has what it takes.

Tim Grind vs. Kevin White - the latter in his first televised match in twenty years - ends in a no contest. During the match, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock's Secret Service agents briefly take Maria Starr aside for a talent review. Later on in the match, Lil' Homie and Gavin White get on the apron to fire their respective fathers up, then Lil' Homie pulls Gavin White off the ring apron. As they confront each other, Gavin White inadvertently knocks Lil' Homie off the ring apron into Gavin White off an Irish whip by Tim Grind. Lil' Homie and Gavin White go at it, and when Tim Grind breaks it up, he is attacked by Kevin White, and the match is thrown out as referees and officials spend the last few minutes of the show trying to break up the ensuing brawl.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for February 4, 2023

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. Brett says he told Mike Anthony that he was done and that the Heritage Championship will stay around his waist. Suddenly, K-Toomer shows up. K-Toomer says that the Heritage Championship is what it is all about and that 2023 would be his year, then commends Brett Michaels on winning the title. He says that it will not be personal, but it will be all business in the ring. Suddenly, The Hollywood Clique shows up. Brett Michaels gets a "You suck!" chant going as "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock blames "Casanova" Colton Cage for not taking care of K-Toomer and tells him he should be more like Van Viciouss. He also says that Brett Michaels has big muscles and "a little pea brain," then challenges Brett and K-Toomer to a match against Van Viciouss and Colton Cage. K-Toomer accepts, and tells Van Viciouss he will kick his head off.



King Cobra shows up with the Cobra Cup and guests on commentary for the next match.



Jason Vain - formerly Adamas Vain - beats Kid Wrestling to advance in the Cobra Cup Tournament.



Backstage, James Ellsworth is making out an autograph for RynoJB when Matt Williams shows up and asks Ellsworth what he is doing. Storybook Prince Gaston shows up as Ellsworth tells Matt Williams that he is here because he did not get the job done, and says that the three of them will take care of things and to "stick to the plan."



Dustin Starr interviews Reverend Ash Taylor at the announce desk. Ash Taylor says he understands there is some animosity between himself and the fans, but he forgives them and he has prayed hard on the righteous path that has given him the path that he needs, as the fans are sheep who have went astray. He says that the fans need a firmer hand, and introduces "The Righteous Right Hand" Brother Red, a red-haired man in a white tanktop and brown overalls whom Ash Taylor considers his most devoted follower. Reverend Ash Taylor says that Brother Red will bring the fans back onto the righteous path before the two of them head to the ring.



Brother Red beats Gio Savage to advance in the Cobra Cup Tournament in his debut match following the distraction by Reverend Ash Taylor.



Backstage, Derrick King talks with King Cobra regarding what is going on with him as of late. King Cobra says the crown does not make Derrick King a king, and says there is a lot of talent and possibility in Derrick and Ray Ray Sanders and that they could win titles if they get on the same page.



Dustin Starr interviews James Ellsworth at the announce desk. James says he did not see anyone who looks like a woman in the women's division or in the crowd, then asks if he looks like a liar when the attack on Mackenzie Morgan is brought up. Suddenly, Mackenzie Morgan shows up. James says this is his interview time, then tells Mackenzie to make him a sandwich and come back when he tells him to. Mackenzie then says he recognizes the smell of James Ellsworth and says it was him who attacked her. James vehemently denies it and says he will call his lawyer and sue her, but Mackenzie says she knows it was him. As she rears back her first, she is grabbed by Matt Williams and Storybook Prince Gaston and taken into the ring. James then admits it was him and that he will finish the job, but he, Gaston and Matt Williams are chased out by Cassandra Golden and Nyxx.



We hear from "All Heart" Blake Christian, who says that he is coming home and to Memphis Wrestling. He then says he has been disappointed with "Problem Child" Aaron Roberts' actions as of late and that he wants to talk with him.



"The Best of the Best" Austin Lane guests on commentary for the next match.

Tim Bosby retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Big Jack following the distraction by Bulletproof Bruce. After the match, Austin Lane wants to shake Tim Bosby's hand, but Bosby brushes up against him with his shoulder on the way to the back.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels and K-Toomer beat The Hollywood Clique (Van Viciouss and "Casanova" Colton Cage) after Colton Cage walks off on Van Viciouss.

Grind City Rumble, Part Two/Milestone 100 - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 21, 2023

We look back on Mickie James' appearance on Memphis Wrestling at Super Bout in 2022 and Cassandra Golden beating "Dirty" Diana Taylor for the Memphis Women's Championship.



Cassandra Golden retains the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship against Jennifer Justice after foiling Martin's interference attempt on the apron.



We see footage of K-Toomer surrounded by masked men at a gas station. Someone grabs K-Toomer, then a man with facial hair kicks K-Toomer and calls "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock to tell him "It's been done." K-Toomer then fights off his assailant, then fights the man with the facial hair off.



Dustin Starr interviews "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane at the announce desk. Austin Lane says he has proven that he is the best of the best since the first episode of Memphis Wrestling, but for the past five or six months, Matt Williams has been a thorn in his side and has thrown him off his game. Austin Lane says that he has went a whole year without a loss and that he won last year's Grind City Rumble, then says that he wants to finish things with Matt Williams once and for all so he can focus on this year's Grind City Rumble. Matt Williams shows up and says Austin Lane only cares for himself, and reminds him that he took care of Nikki Lane when she was injured and jumped on K-Toomer when he attacked him, then says he wanted to share the spotlight with him and become a tag team champ. Austin Lane tells Matt Williams to shut up and that there people who are more held back than Matt, then tell him to get his guy so that they can end this right now. Big Jack then shows up and stands with Matt, then Austin brings out Bruce, now known as "Bulletproof Bruce." This stars a tag team match.



"The Best of the Best" Austin Lane and Bulletproof Bruce beat Matt Williams and Big Jack.



Backstage, Big John Dalton is met by MacKenzie Morgan. MacKenzie says he has heard talk that Big John Dalton attacked her and wants to know if it was him. Big John Dalton says it was not him.



Dustin Starr interviews "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts and Justin Case at the announce desk. Justin Case says it is the time of year where there are 29 other people in the back thinking they have a shot at winning the Grind City Rumble, but they have a problem in Aaron Roberts. Aaron Roberts then says that he wants a warm-up match and gets in the ring, and he gets in Kid Wrestling.



"The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts beats Kid Wrestling.



We see a video package chronicling the feud between "The GunShow" Brett Michaels and Mike Anthony.



Before the next match, Mike Anthony warns "The GunShow" Brett Michaels that there are two things one does not do: one does not turn their back on a man one fears and one dos not turn their back on a man one respects.

Despite a vicious pre-bell assault from Mike Anthony, "The GunShow" Brett Michaels beats Mike Anthony with a single GunShow Lariat to become Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion for a second time.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for December 10, 2022

Dustin Starr interviews Buff Bagwell at the announce desk. Buff says that he told Mike Anthony not to put his hands on Big John Dalton and that he did, then brings out Team WrestleCenter (Derrick King and Ray Ray Sanders). Big John Dalton shows up in a Buff Bagwell-style top hat, and Buff Bagwell says that Big John Dalton is ready to prove Derrick King and everyone else right. After approval from both Buff Bagwell and the WrestleCenter fans, Derrick King makes Big John Dalton the third member of Team WrestleCenter for the Trios Tournament Finals. Buff Bagwell also announces that he will be in the corner of Team WrestleCenter for the match.



We hear from Tim Bosby, who says that he told everyone that he would beat Zay Washington for the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship and become the youngest ever Memphis Wrestling champion at the age of 18. He says what is going on between Zay Washington and Aaron Roberts is none of his business and that this is why he refused to help Washington, and that he is focused on getting more gold because he is second-to-none.



Matt Williams guests on commentary for the next match.

Big Jack beats Austin Lane after Matt Williams distracts the referee with a steel chair as Big Jack taps to Austin Lane's STF. Austin Lane then tosses the chair to Big Jack to further distract the referee and kick Austin Lane in the groin from behind. Big Jack then hits a big knee for the win. After the match, Matt Williams "pins" Austin Lane. After the match, Matt Williams "pins" Austin Lane, then Bruce shows up for the first time in some time and joins in on the attack. Suddenly, Bruce refuses to join in on the attack and punches Matt Williams, then tells Big Jack "That's not the plan." Bruce tells Big Jack that he is his brother, but Matt Williams is not, and he briefly brawls with Big Jack before Big Jack retreats.



We hear from The Nightmare Posse (Simon, Mr. Chris, Mike Anthony). Mr. Chris says the other two teams in the Trios Tournament Finals had to claw and scratch and hunt. Simon says they will do whatever it takes to win. Mike Anthony says he does not care about being a two-time Trios Tournament winner and that all he wants is "The GunShow" Brett Michaels, and that he is the champ and Brett is not.



"The Goddess of the Night" Nyxx beats Jennifer Justice when Martin inadvertently trips Jennifer Justice on the outside after Nyxx reverses an Irish whip into the ropes. After the match, Martin attacks Nyxx from behind, but Cassandra Golden rushes into the ring to make the save for Nyxx, and Martin and Jennifer Justice slowly retreat.



King Cobra guests on commentary for the next match, and Buff Bagwell stands in Team WrestleCenter's (Derrick King, Ray Ray Sanders, Big John Dalton) corner for the match.

Team WrestleCenter (Derrick King, Ray Ray Sanders, Big John Dalton) beats The Nightmare Posse (Mike Anthony, Simon, Mr. Chris) and the team of Memphis Muscle ("The GunShow" Brett Michaels and "Big Swole" Justin Cole) and K-Toomer to win the Memphis Trios Tournament and become the new Memphis Trios Champions. (The Skimahorns [Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skiamhorn, Uncle Mikey] have been stripped of the titles.) During the match, Mike Anthony mocks Buff Bagwell to his face as the referee is pre-occupied with what is going on on the outside, and Buff Bagwell cracks Mike Anthony with a crutch shot to the head. Big John Dalton then slowly gets the pin and the win for Team WrestleCenter.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for June 11, 2022

Dustin Starr interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice, who brings out the Memphis Internet Championship underneath a glittery pink cover. Zicky Dice unveils the Internet Championship for the very first time, then allows a close look of the championship to the crowd. As Zicky Dice returns to the announce desk, however, Mike Anthony shows up for the opening match. Zicky says he is not the Internet Champion, and that a "Five Starr Five-Way" match will dictate who wins it.



Mike Anthony beats Carlos Alexander Rios.



Big Jack and Bruce beat The Skimahorns (Brad and Briar Skimahorns) after Mr. Chris shows up and gets confronted by Briar only for Simon to show up and kidnap him along with Mr. Chris.



Backstage, Mackenzie Morgan interviews Norman Meklakov and Matt. Matt says his full name is Matt Williams, then says he has been disrespected since he showed up and that nobody will say his name. Matt says that he is a person, too, and that he took up for himself. He then says that if Austin Lane wants to fight him, he will have to go through Meklakov first.



Next week: K-Toomer vs. Rhino!



The L.A. Hustlers (Bradley and Lamont) beat Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) by reverse decision despite Country Rock winning clean after Carter Matthews ducks a punch with a gold chain wrapped around it from Lamont and Country Rock hits the Country Rock Drop. After the match, the referee sees Lamont's chain on the mat, thinks Country Rock used it to win, then awards the win to The L.A. Hustlers by reverse decision.



We hear from Mike Anthony, who says that locking him away solved nothing, because he thrives in a prison-like environment and knocks them all done. He says that he came for what he wanted and left, and that he and King Cobra are not allies and have nothing in common. Anthony then says that Brett Michaels' title match became the worst day of his life, and says that he could not let Brett have his moment when he had Lance Archer right where he wanted him.

Backstage, Mackenzie Morgan interviews "Big Swole" Justin Cole, who says that today is the big day and that he is going to make it happen in the Internet Championship match.



Dustin Starr interviews Jay Smooth - now with crutches - and Kross. Kross says that they have not seen Martin in weeks, and that Jay Smooth is hurt and that they are hoping for recovery. We then see recent footage of Martin confronting Lance Archer in the ring only to get choke slammed, and Kross tells Dustin Starr not to mention the incident again and that he will make every booking and carry The Etiquette (Kross, Jay Smooth, Martin).

"Big Trouble" Ben Bishop beats Kross after a crutch shot to the head has no effect.



Backstage, Mackenzie Morgan interviews "Poppin'" EJ Sparks. Sparks says he is going to go out there, steal the show, and walk out as Memphis Internet Champion.



Dustin Starr interviews "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and Van Viciouss. Blaylock says Derrick King has made a ton of mistakes not joining them, then mentions that they have someone wanting to be their personal assistant, whom he brings out: referee Ray Ray Sanders. Blaylock fits Ray Ray Sanders with a "Personal Assistant" jacket on Sanders, and Ray Ray is already all smiles as Blaylock pays him with cash. Ray Ray states he is a grown and demands he be called Ray Sanders. As he says that this is not the most popular decision while he explains himself, Derrick King shows up and confronts Ray, saying that Blaylock is wearing a white suit and gold chains that are not even gold.

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice guests on commentary for the next match while Derrick King watches from the announce desk.

"Outlandish" Zicky Dice beats "Big Swole" Justin Cole, Van Viciouss, "Poppin'" EJ Sparks and Johnny Dotson (who is a surprise entrant) in a "Five Starr Five-Way" match to become the inaugural Memphis Internet Champion. (Uncle Mikey is booked for the match, but he does not show up when his entrance theme hits due to Briar Skimahorn's abduction at the hands of The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris); Zicky Dice leaves the announce desk to take his place.) Viciouss eliminates Sparks after "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock distracts the referee so that he can toss his cane to Viciouss, who uses it to eliminate Sparks. After the pinfall, Derrick King gets in the ring and superkicks Viciouss, and Dotson gets in the ring and pins Viciouss to eliminate him. Justin Cole then eliminates Johnny Dotson with a schoolkid pin, and Zicky Dice beats Justin Cole with a neckbreaker to win the title.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 30, 2022

Dustin Star interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. Brett says he remembers last time he and Mike Anthony were in the ring together, then tells Anthony that if he wants a shot at the Memphis Heritage Championship, then he can meet him in the ring right now. Mike Anthony shows up and teases getting in the ring, then leaps off the ring apron and tells Brett that he does not dictate the pace or flow and that it is his shot, his call and his time, and that his time is next week.



"The Last Hotstepper" DJ Brown beats "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt.



Backstage, Dustin Starr interviews "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane at the announce desk. Nikki Lane says it is good to be back, then says she cannot get a hold of Diana Taylor and wants to see her face-to-face right here, right now. After the commercial break, Diana Taylor shows up, and Nikki Lane reminds her of their pact to make women's wrestling relevant and asks why she did something so dangerous, but Diana just walks away. Nikki says she does not know what is going through Diana's head, but she will get to the bottom of this.



Backstage, The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey) admire the Memphis Trios Championship rings, then Brad entertains the idea of joining Evil Uno and The Dark Order. Uncle Mikey asks why they can't join them in "The Light Order."

Uncle Mikey guests on commentary for the next match.

Brad Skimahorn beats Carlos Alexander Rios after countering a vertical suplex into an inside cradle. After the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey) at the announce desk. Brad Skimahorn says that Evil Uno has promised The Skimahorns their own action figures if they join The Dark Order, but Uncle Mikey says he does not trust Evil Uno. Brad is not bothered by Evil Uno's comments about Memphis, and Uncle Mikey proposes The Dark Order join them in "The Light Order."





We hear from "Big Swole" Justin Cole, who says that the last year has been amazing. He talks about the concussion that he suffered in the #1 contender's match against Mike Anthony, then says he has not been himself then and the distractions that have cost him big wins. Cole says that next week, it is just him and "The GunShow" Brett Michaels and that there will be no distractions, because if Mike Anthony shows up, they will both take care of him.



Scotty 2 Hotty shows up and interacts with the fans, then Dustin Starr interviews him at the announce desk. Scotty talks about how he picked up his high school diploma in 1993, moved to Memphis and wrestled six to seven days a week, then mentions his history with "Grandmaster Sexay" Brian Christopher and Rikishi before thanking the fans for their support through the years. Scotty 2 Hotty then decides to have fun with the fans before having a "Worm-off" with the fans. After the break, Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) head to the ring to find contestants for the Worm-Off. Suddenly, Big Jack and Bruce show up, and this starts the main event, and Scotty 2 Hotty guests on commentary.



Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) beat Big Jack and Bruce with a schoolkid pin from Carter Matthews to Big Jack after Big Jack brings a chair into the ring only for Scotty 2 Hotty to take it away, distracting Big Jack and allowing Carter Matthews to get the win. After the match, Bruce has to hold Big Jack back, then Country Rock do The Worm with Scotty 2 Hotty.

Grind City Rumble, Part One - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for January 8, 2022

Dustin Starr interviews Martin, Kross and Jay Smooth at the announce desk. Kross says the three of them will blow the roof off, and that Martin will style and profile like no other man and Smooth will show why he has earned his name. He says that they will be walking away with something big and impressing the fans, and that it will start today. Martin says his name is not Precious.



"Big Swole" Justin Cole beats Martin after catching a top rope cross body and hitting the Swole Slam.



Next week: Zay Washington!

We hear from Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) and Big Jack. Carter Matthews says they have beaten The Elements of Wrestling ("Casanova" Colton Cage and Ryan Pyles) and Van Viciouss before and that they will do it again. Big Jack says he is always ready.



We hear from The Elements of Wrestling ("Casanova" Colton Cage and Ryan Pyles) and Van Viciouss. Ryan Pyles says the trios title rings would look good, and they did not put miles on their father's Aston Martin to be losers. Viciouss agrees that they would look good on them. Colton Cage tells Country Rock and Big Jack to "lace 'em up."



Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) and Big Jack beat The Elements of Wrestling ("Casanova" Colton Cage and Ryan Pyles) and Van Viciouss in a six-man tag match.



We hear from "The Mad Esthetician" Amber Rodriguez, who shows off her new manicure and eyelashes and says none of this would have happened if it were not for Skyler. She says that she made Skyler perfect in her image, and tells her "Just wait."



Backstage, Derrick King gets a video message from Tiger Joe, who is in a neck brace and says that while he can sue Championship Wrestling From Memphis and take everything, his revenge is with Derrick King. Tiger Joe says he can find another tiger in Memphis, a grizzly or an exotic animal of his own that Derrick King cannot beat, and tells Derrick King that he is coming for him.




Dustin Starr interviews "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and The Crowleys at the announce desk. Blaylock asks how the fans are allowed to bring straps and weapons, then says nobody here should be strapped as they are not animals and that the main event is a conspiracy against them. Blaylock also says that the match was not caused by him whipping Walker Hayes with a belt, and that someone will pay for this.





Ivan Warsaw and Walker Hayes beat The Crowleys (Jacksyn and Otis Crowley) in a Strap Match in which fans also bring straps. After the match, Walker Hayes chases "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock to the back with a strap.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for November 20, 2021

Heather Monroe beats "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane and Rebel Kel in a three-way match to become the Memphis Women's Champion! During the match, K-Toomer shows up and jumps Matt, and leaves the ring to help Matt to the back with two referees. She later gets back in the match. Near the end of the match, Nikki Lane pins Rebel Kel to seemingly retain, but Kel gets her hand on the bottom rope and the referee notices it in time. During the confusion, Heather Monroe pins Nikki Lane with a schoolkid pin and grabs the tights to get the win and the title.



Backstage, Chris Hayes talks to Carter Matthews, who says he is "still not feeling it." Hayes says he has found a partner, and that partner is Big Jack. Matthews likes this news.

We hear from DJ Brown, Danny B. Good and Derrick King. As Danny B. Good says today is the big day, Mike Anthony shows up and says "one down, one to go" and that he will take care of "The GunShow" Brett Michaels will Brown and Good take care of everyone else. Mike Anthony says he will make "The GunShow" wish he was a no-show.

We get a look at the championship ring that will be worn by the winners of the Memphis Trios Championships in today's main event, which will be worn in place of championship belts.

We hear from The Posse (Simon and Lil' Chris) and "Big Swole" Justin Cole. Simon says they have had their ring fingers sized, and Justin Cole says that he and The Posse are ready to win the Memphis Trios Championships.

Backstage, Meklakov cuts a promo in Russian.



Meklakov beats Rashad Lee. During the match, Ken Deng shows up, and Meklakov mouths off at him from the ring.

We hear from The GunGOATs (Aaron Roberts, Zay Washington, "The GunShow" Brett Michaels). Roberts is excited to finally make it to the finals, and Washington says it is time to put in the work. Brett Michaels welcomes Mike Anthony to the GunShow.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for November 13, 2021

We hear from Derrick King, DJ Brown, Danny B. Good and Mike Anthony. Danny B. Good says he is proud of everyone, and Mike Anthony makes it very clear that he wants Brett Michaels and the Memphis Heritage Championship, calling the Trios Tournament icing on the cake.



Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) beat Van Vicious and "Casanova" Colton Cage by disqualification after Ryan Pyles jumps in the ring and gets physically involved.



Dusin Starr interviews "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane and Matt. Nikki says that Austin Lane is in recovery from surgery last week and is doing well, and while challengers are coming in from all directions, the Memphis Women's Championship is always going to be her belt. Heather Monroe shows up and says she is the direction Nikki should be looking, as the last time she beat her was a fluke. Rebel Kel shows up and says she has proven herself time and again and says she should be part of the title discussion. Nikki Lane then proposes a three-way match for the Memphis Women's Championship next week.



We hear from The GunGOATs ("The GunShow" Brett Michaels, Zay Washington, Aaron Roberts). As Washington and Roberts say that they have beaten their Trios Tournament competition in the past, Brett Michaels tells Mike Anthony to be careful what he wishes for.



K-Toomer beats Kid Wrestling by referee stoppage with one kick.



We hear from Ivan Warsaw, who warns The Revenant of Walker Hayes that no weapon shall prosper against him.

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Horror Show (Jacksyn Crowley, Otis Crowley, The Revenant of Walker Hayes). Jacksyn Crowley says that they will win the Trios Tag Team Tournament, but is told they have been eliminated when their match from last week did not even start. Jacksyn asks where The Boogeyman is, and tells Dustin that The Hollywood Horror Show is "The Boogeymen."



Backstage, we hear from The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey). Uncle Mikey says he is scared of nobody, and that Brad and Briar should not be scared, either.

Skyler beats Shalonce Royal with a roll-up after putting her feet on the ropes for leverage. After the match, Skyler declines an interview. Shalonce Royal tries to get a word in edgewise, saying Skyler cheated to win.



Big Jack quickly beats Rashad Lee with one Death Valley Driver. After the match, Big Jack helps Rashad Lee up.



We hear from The Posse (Simon and Lil' Chris) and "Big Swole" Justin Cole. They look forward to facing The GunGOATs ("The GunShow" Brett Michaels, Zay Washington, Aaron Roberts) in the finals, and Justin Cole says that his Breast Cancer Awareness Month challenge was a dress rehearsal for the Trios Tournament.

The GunGOATs ("The Gun Show" Bret Michaels, Aaron Roberts, Zay Washington) beat Jay Smooth, Kross and Martin to advance in the Memphis Trios Tournament.



Diana Taylor beats Shalonce Royal.



We hear from Rebel Kel. She talks about the Gauntlet for the Gold match, but she is soon interrupted by Heather Monroe, who tells her that she will see a little difference between now and then.



Dustin Starr introduces Austin Lane at the announce desk. Austin says that the surgery he will get on his arm tomorrow will not stop him, and says that he wants him in the ring regardless of whether he is medically cleared or not. Nikki Lane and Matt show up to talk Austin out of this.



The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) announce that they are teaming with "Big Swole" Justin Cole in the Memphis Trios Tournament.

The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) and "Big Swole" Justin Cole beat The Elements of Wrestling ("Casanova" Colton Cage and Ryan Pyles) and Van Viciouss to advance in the Memphis Trios Tournament.



The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey) are stoked to be in the Memphis Trios Tournament as the only real trio in the tournament. They say they know each other better than the other trios and tell everyone else in the tournament to watch out.

We hear from Danny B. Good and Derrick King. Danny B. Good says they have a good chance in the Memphis Trios Tournament and that they need one more man. Danny B. Good brings in Mike Anthony, who is only interested in having Brett Michaels in the ring. He tells Brett Michaels that time is ticking.

Danny B. Good, "The Last Hotstepper" DJ Brown and Mike Anthony beat The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn, Briar Skimahorn, Uncle Mikey) to advance in the Memphis Trios Tournament. (DJ Brown replaces Derrick King, who is not cleared to compete.)



Backstage, Carter Matthews tells Chris Hayes that they cannot catch a break and that they can't find a third man for the Memphis Trios Tournament. Chris Hayes something will come up.

Big Jack beats Carlos Alexander Rios in his first match in four months after coming back from knee surgery.



Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Horror Show (Jacksyn Crowley, Otis Crowley, The Revenant of Walker Hayes) at the announce desk. "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock is conspicuous by his absence, and Jacksyn Crowley talks for the first time, calling himself the co-director before introducing Otis Crowley and Walker Hayes. He asks if "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock controls them before saying that no one can control The Crowleys and that nobody can stop The Hollywood Horror Show.



The Hollywood Horror Show (Jacksyn Crowley, Otis Crowley, The Revenant of Walker Hayes) vs. Ivan Warsaw, Crazzy Steve and The Boogeyman in the Memphis Trios Tournament ends before it can start. After Ivan Warsaw goes on the attack before the bell rings, Crazzy Steve shows up and holds his own against The Hollywood Horror Show, even getting up from a chokeslam from The Revenant of Walker Hayes. The Boogeyman then shows up, and fends off Walker Hayes before chokeslamming him. The show ends with Boogeyman putting worms in Jacksyn Crowley's mouth. After the show, another fan gets to eat a worm.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for May 1, 2021

In the parking lot, a white limousine pulls up in front of the building.

Jase Osei beats Super Ed with a knee to the face after Super Ed puts his hat on Jase Osei's head. After the match, Eric McMahon hands Jase Osei a business card, but Jase Osei tosses it away.



Outside of the building, Nikki and Austin Lane try to get into the white limousine.



Backstage, Terrence Ward interviews Derrick King, Van Viciouss and "The Queen of the Gulf Coast" Katelynn Black, who are already in the building. Derrick King says that if Austin Lane wants to find them, he is anywhere, anytime and anyplace, for he runs from nobody, especially Austin Lane.

We see footage of The Crowleys (Jacksyn and Otis Crowley) holding Walker Hayes hostage.



Jonny Lyons draws a number for the Grind City Rumble. He says he has faced some of the biggest men that the business has to offer, and says it is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. Suddenly, Jimmy Blaylock shows up and draws a number for the Grind City Rumble, not for himself, but for somebody else that he refuses to identify.



The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) beat Big Ace and Big Jack when The Skimahorns (Brad and Briar Skimahorn) show up with silly string and Hawaiian shirts and inadvertently spray silly string into the faces of Big Jack and Big Ace when The Posse duck.



Nikki and Austin Lane vs. Derrick King and "The Queen of the Gulf Coast" Katelynn Black is next week!



"The Genetic Nightmare" Mike Anthony beats Maxx Stone.



Backstage, Action Jackson and "The Last Hotstepper" DJ Brown talk about their upcoming big matches when DJ Brown's father, Danny B. Good, shows up, saying he is supporting Brown for his big match today and that he will be by his side.



Diana Taylor beats Cassandra Golden after Precious and "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt - who show up shortly after the start of the match - start arguing with and shoving each other.



Backstage, Norman Meklakov draws a number for the Grind City Rumble. He says that he will soon become the Memphis Heritage Champion.



"The Last Hotstepper" DJ Brown beats Izaiah Zane. DJ Brown's father, Danny B. Good, is seen in the audience during the match.



Backstage, "The GunShow" Brett Michaels draws a number for the Grind City Rumble. He says it has been "a hell of a ride" before he gets his number, then says he is not done with Alan Steel and Johnny Dotson and that he will come after them if they mess up today.



"The Memphis Mauler" Alan Steel and Johnny Dotson beat Bam Bam Malone and Action Jackson after Dotson hits Action Jackson with a low blow when the referee is not paying attention. After the match, Steel and Dotson continue to take the boots to Bam Bam Malone, then "The GunShow' Brett Michaels runs in and fights both Steel and Dotson, sending them both over the top rope.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for April 10, 2021



Humongous beats Super Ed with just two big boots. After the match, The Crowleys show up and surround Super Ed to see if he is alive, then leave.



Backstage, "The GunShow" Brett Matthews is looking for "The Memphis Mauler" Alan Steel and Johnny Dotson when he runs into Eric McMahon, who wants to manage him. Matthews declines.



Cassandra Golden beats Paris Kelly. Precious is seen at ringside around the start of the match, and soon after the bell rings, "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt shows up and has a confrontation with Precious at ringside throughout the match, apparently over Cassandra Golden. After the match, Cassandra Golden heads to the back alone and annoyed.



Backstage, Terrance Ward interviews Cece Chanel, who says she has heard what Amber Rodriguez has said about her, and says that Amber should be about it instead of talking about it before challenging her to a match next week where she will make Amber eat her words.



Backstage, Derrick King shows up, irritated with "Smoking Hot" Nikki and Austin Lane, when Austin Lane shows up and angrily confronts Derrick for his actions last week before proposing a rematch between Nikki and Queen Katelynn Black with King and Van Viciouss in Katelynn's corner and Austin Lane in "Smokin Hot" Nikki Lane's corner.



Derrick King guests on commentary for the next match.

"Delicious" Van Viciouss beats Bam Bam Malone after Queen Katelynn Black distracts the referee so Viciouss can hit Malone with the briefcase.



The Skimahorns, Big Ace and Big Jack Parker beat The Posse (Simon and Lil Chris) and Da Russell Twins (Allen and Isaiah Russell) in an eight-man tag match. At one point in the match, Da Russell Twins inadvertently knock down a ceiling tile as they leap off Simon's back. After the match, Big Ace and Big Jack - who were paid by The Skimahorns to be their partners in this match - are not exactly happy by how The Skimahorns took the pinfall from them.



Norman Meklakov beats "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt. During the match, Precious is seen with Cassandra Golden. This distracts Rembrandt, and Meklakov hits the full nelson slam for the win. After the match, Cassandra Golden shoves Precious, then checks on Rembrandt.



Jase Osei is seen getting ready for his match backstage.



Jase Osei beats a very reluctant Precious, who keeps calling for Cassandra Golden.



Backstage, "The Memphis Mauler" Alan Steel says that Johnny Dotson is taking care of business, then tells "The GunShow" Brett Matthews to meet him in the ring, where he immediately goes. "The GunShow" Brett Michaels shows up, but he is attacked from behind by Johnny Dotson. Michaels goes at it with Doston and Steel in the ring, but Dotson and Steel overpower him. Referees show up to break up the beating as the show ends.

Derrick King and Van Viciouss - the deliverer of the letter from last week - guest on commentary for this week's show.



Eric McMahon still cannot get in the building, this time because the venue is sold out.



Norman Meklakov beats "The Last Hotstepper" DJ Brown to advance in the Cobra Cup Tournament.



Backstage, Dreadhead Kev takes a picture of The Skimahorn Brothers (Brad and Briar Skimahorn), but gets pushed around by one of them. They leave when The Posse (Lil Chris and Simon) show up.



A person with a box of pizza from 3 Guys Pizza Pies is in the ring with a box of pizza when Lord Humongous shows up and chokeslams him. The Crowleys (Jacksyn and Otis Crowley) then show up and inspect the chokeslammed man as Humongous leaves, then wave his hands around. The two of them then fight over the chokeslammed man, then notice the box of pizza, take it and leave.



Big Ace and Big Jack Parker beat The Hollywood Blondes ("Hollywood" Adam Swayze and Rex).



"Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane beats Diana Taylor. During the match, as Derrick King announces that Queen Katelynn will be here next week, Precious shows up to take some notes.



The Yung GOATs (Aaron Roberts and Zay Washington) beat Da Russell Twins (Allen and Cameron Russell).



"The GunShow" Brett Michaels beats "Big Swole" Justin Cole to advance in the Cobra Cup Tournament.
