Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 6, 2023

In backstage footage from earlier today, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso arrive at the arena. Paul Heyman catches up with them and reminds them that Sami Zayn is here tonight due to their inability to get rid of them, which means opportunity for The Bloodline. He says that Solo will take care of "the Kevin Owens problem" while while Jimmy will take care of "the Sami Zayn problem" "once and forever" regardless of whether or not Jey Uso comes to his senses. Heyman then calls Roman Reigns.

Kevin Owens beats Solo Sikoa by disqualification after Jimmy Uso gets physically involved in the match. After the match, Solo and Jimmy attack Owens, but as Solo is about to splash Owens through the announce table, he and Jimmy are attacked by Sami Zayn. Sami then grabs a chair and swings at Solo, who retreats through the crowd. Sami then swings at Jimmy, but Jimmy also retreats through the crowd. Sami then looks at Owens and offers to help him up, but Owens rolls out of the ring instead.

We hear from Bobby Lashley, who says he came to SmackDown to confront Bray Wyatt man-to-man only to find out that Bray is not a man and that he sent Uncle Howdy to do his dirty work. He asks what it will take for Bray to face him like a man.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Carmella, who says WWE official Adam Pearce gave her a match with Bianca Belair to get her out of his non-existant hair, but little does he know that he will embarrass Bianca. As Carmella says that Pearce ruins everything, Chelsea Green shows up and agrees with her about Pearce. Pearce himself shows up and almost walks into the conversation, but soon notices them and hides as they talk about teaming up to get a WrestleMania match. When Chelsea notices Byron Saxton, she and Carmella tell Byron to leave after calling him a mouthbreather and questioning his journalistic integrity.

Bianca Belair beats Carmella after fending off Chelsea Green. After the match, Chelsea Green and Carmella attack Bianca Belair, then Asuka shows up and spits blue mist in Chelsea Green's face before having a staredown with Bianca Belair and looking at the WrestleMania sign.

Backstage, Sami Zayn meets with Kevin Owens and says he does not know what else to say or do, and says The Bloodline is too much for anyone. He says this is not a ploy and that they do not need to team or be friends again, but they have to work together. Owens says he knows The Bloodline are too much after fighting them for eight months, but at the same time, he does not want to Sami. He tells Sami to go back to Roman apologize, and to leave him out of this. Sami quietly leaves.

We see a video package for Rhea Ripley.

It's time for Miz TV. The Miz says he would only step into the same ring as Seth "Freakin'" Rollins to moderate his face-to-face with Logan Paul to practice for hosting duties at WrestleMania, then introduces Logan Paul, followed by Rollins. Miz then complains about the fans singing Rollins' theme, then Rollins pushes Miz's microphone down to silence Miz, then Logan Paul has to tell the crowd to shut up. This does nothing to shut up the fans. It is not until Rollins addresses the crowd that the crowd is silent, then Rollins addresses Logan. Rollins mentions their history and the fact that they have yet to be formally introduced, then introduces himself to Logan. Logan says he knows who Rollins are as the crowd sings Rollins' theme again, then calls him "the clown [he] dumped at Royal Rumble and the guy [he] stomped at Elimination Chamber" and says he is better at his job than Rollins. He says that he works smarter and not harder, and that he is on his way in while Rollins is on the way out, and if he were Rollins, he would not like him either. Miz tells Rollins he has a few good points as the crowd chants "Fuck You Logan." Rollins agrees with Miz, but says that Logan is missing the point that none of this is reason why nobody likes him, and it is because he is "the scum of the earth" and a coward, a troll, a fraud, and human dumpster fire who is not wanted in WWE. He then says the fans came here not to see them mince words, but to see him get his pound of flesh, then declares the time to talk is over and that it is time to fight. Miz stops Rollins before things can get physical, but Logan tells Miz not to speak for him and that if he is going to fight Rollins, he will do it. He then says he is not going to do it because he does not fight for free, especially in Boston, Massachusetts, for he is a premium act, and that he will do it only if the event and money is bigger and had some star power. Miz reminds Logan that he is the host of WrestleMania and that they can make their match happen at WrestleMania. Rollins asks what they are waiting for as he grabs Miz and throws him out of the ring, then brawls with Logan. Rollins superkicks Miz only to get punched out by Logan Paul, then asks Rollins to let him know about WrestleMania when he wakes up.

Mustafa Ali is seen disguised as a fan carrying a sign in the crowd before the next match. It is soon revealed that Mustafa Ali set up the next match.

Omos beats Dolph Ziggler in a matter of seconds. After the match, MVP tells Brock Lesnar that Omos is all the hype he needs and that Lesnar should have never put his hands on him, and that Omos will tame the beast at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Maximum Male Models (Maxxine Dupri, Mace, Mansoor) looks at Otis and compliment him as he is posing with Chad Gable. Baron Corbin shows up and thinks the compliment is meant for him and talks about his bad luck as of late. Maximum Male Models then reminds him that they are talking about Ois, then Maxxine Dupri then says that there is potential in him if he can take down Chad Gable. Corbin says to consider it done.

Backstage, Paul Heyman tells Jimmy Uso that he is the man and the one who will take out Sami Zayn and make sure that Roman Reigns has to hear Sami's name again, and tells Jimmy that if he cannot get Jey into The Bloodline by the end of the week, Roman will blame him.

Johnny Gargano beats Finn Balor after Edge's entrance music hits and Edge shows up from the crowd to push Finn Balor off the top rope. After the match, Dexter Lumis takes out Damian Priest, then Edge hits Finn Balor with a Spear.

King and Queen of the Ring takes place on May 27th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia!

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Edge, who says that Finn Balor cost him a match he should never have lost and that he has returned the favor. He says he has no time for this, then calls out Finn Balor for next week.

Piper Niven quickly beats Nikki Cross.

Backstage, Rick Boogs is met by Elias, who tells him that he took the fight to Bobby Lashley and that people are talking about it, and says that in order to learn, he has to do something himself. Elias then tells Rick Boogs to walk up to Bronson Reed and tell him he wants to fight him, then Rick Boogs tells him Elias wants to fight him. Bronson walks up to Elias and says that if he wants to fight him, he will see him next week.

John Cena heads to the ring. Before Cena can say much of anything, Austin Theory shows up and heads to the ring. Theory says that, like the fans, he has all the respect in the world for Cena, and that he only became a WWE Superstar because of Cena, and that Cena inspired him at a young age. He then has a gift for Cena from the bottom of his heart that is bigger than any movie role that Cena will ever have: a match with him at WrestleMania. Cena says no, saying he is not interested in his gift because he has not earned the right to give it. He says that he has been watching and listening to Theory, and says nobody cares about him because they don't believe him, and nobody believes him because Theory is not believing himself, as he looks generic and has no heart. Cena says he has walked in Theory's shoes and that he is Theory's "Ghost of Christmas Future," and that Theory is in his "Ruthless Aggression" phase, and that Ruthless Aggression almost got him fired because he did not believe in himself. He says that Theory has no heart and no soul, then says that the fans are here out of respect and that while they believe, they do not believe in Theory as he is just "a pair of trunks away from being a jabroni." Cena then admits that Theory has the greatest name in professional wrestling right now, then says he is nothing but a theory, and in theory, Theory should be great and everything a WWE executive looks for and who everyone comes to the show for. He then says no one cares and that Theory is wasting everyone's time, then gives Theory a gift: the ability to walk out of the ring in one piece if Theory shuts up, turns around and walks away. Theory tells Cena he is not going anywhere just like the bald spot on Cena's head, but Cena reveals the bald spot on his head that is combed over. Theory then takes Cena's refusal of a match as giving up and disrespect towards the fans. Theory asks where the hustle, loyalty and respect is, then realizes that the fans are right when you don't want to meet your hero, because all one's hero does is disappoint. Cena says he would rather be bald than have fake crowd noise piped into his matches, then tells Theory he is a dumb son of a bitch and warns him that he is saving his hide, for Theory loses everything whether he wins or loses. He says the fans will eat Theory alive when Theory has to explain himself the Monday after because the fans know he is full of crap, then Cena says he has no choice because he has brought the fans into it. Cena thanks the fans and his family, then asks the fans if they want to see him and Theory square off at WrestleMania. The fans make it known they want to see it, then says that while he does not care abut Theory, he will not give up on the fans. He then tells Theory that he has made the biggest mistake of his career and that their match will be for the United States Championship, then wishes him luck as everyone knows he does not have it in his brain, heart or his nuts before telling him to work on his nuts. He then tells Theory that he is not ready for the WrestleMania stage, then says the fans deserve to see somebody who is before introducing "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Cody shows up, then shakes hands and hugs Cena.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Sami Zayn, who says that Kevin Owens was right about things before proclaiming that everything has changed now. He says that his match with Jimmy Uso is about survival because Jimmy has to put an end to him or else he will be ended. He apologizes to Jimmy before saying that tonight is not going to be his night.

Chad Gable beats Baron Corbin with the ankle lock into the grapevine.

The Miz and Maryse take part in a Top Gun parody as part of this year's WrestleMania.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins vs. Logan Paul is now official for WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch and Lita head to the ring. Becky says that when a couple of legends like them step in the ring, they do not miss. Lita says they made history, and while Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky) did not make it easy, they made it worth it. Lita thanks Becky, then says they have an equalizer that they have yet to thank. Trish Stratus then shows up and heads to the ring. Trish tells Lita she will always have his back, and to see her Lita and Becky win tag team gold, she would not have missed it for the world. As she says that she would have gotten physical if Bayley did not shut up, Damage CTRL shows up. Bayley says the threesome love to show up when it is convenient for them and add to their trophy case at their expense, and that she can see right through them and see they are selfish and why Damage CTRL is in the ring right now. She also says Damage CTRL will be the reason why they neve come back. Trish says Bayley is good at talking, but not listening, and reminds her that she can get out of retirement quickly and considers doing that to shut Bayley up. She then challenges Damage CTRL to a match against the three of them at WrestleMania. Bayley accepts, and Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky question Bayley at first before going for a cheap shot and getting tossed out of the ring. Bayley soon gets surrounded, and when she goes for a cheap shot at Becky, Becky, Trish and Lita take shots at Bayley until Dakota and Iyo get her out of the ring.

Sami Zayn beats Jimmy Uso with a roll-up after Jey Uso shows up and stands on the announce table. After the match, Jimmy and Jey meet in the ring. Jey puts his hands on Jimmy's shoulders, then grabs his shirt. Jey is reluctant, however, and he soon walks past Jimmy before leaving the ring, standing next to Sami and telling Sami "I trust you" befor ehugging him. Jimmy is down on one knee in the middle of the ring as Jey and Sami raise one finger up, and Sami tells Jimmy that it is not too late. Suddenly, Jey superkicks Sami and throws him into the ring where he and Jimmy attack him. Solo Sikoa then gets in the ring to join in, but "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhoes runs in and confronts Solo and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 27, 2023

Before the next match, Jimmy Uso says it may look like there are cracks in The Bloodline, but family fights all the time. He says that if someone comes for one member of The Bloodline, they will get them all, and that nobody has one up on them. As he says that he and Solo Sikoa are here to remind everyone who runs Raw, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) show up. The Street Profits mock Jey Uso's absence and mention that there are cracks in The Bloodline's armor, and Jimmy Uso says they talk a lot of trash for someone The Bloodline bodies, and tells them to keep Roman Reigns' name out of their mouth. The Street Profits then say that they want the smoke, and this leads to a brawl where The Street Profits come out on top.

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). After the match, Solo and Jimmy continue to attack The Street Profits, then Solo gets a chair and wraps Montez's head around it before going for the hip attack. All of a sudden, Solo is superkiced by Kevin Owens, who also gives Jimmy a Stunner.

Brock Lesnar heads to the ring. After Lesnar makes himself comfortable on the couch, MVP shows up and says this was not what he had in mind. Lesnar apologizes for being early, then says he has no beef with MVP and that he is all about business. Lesnar then says he is here to listen to MVP and sell the fans on a fight between himself and Omos. MVP asks if he does not have to worry about being taken to Suplex City, to which Lesnar responds "No suplexes tonight." MVP gets in the ring, then Lesnar says there is nothing that MVP can do to insult him before asking MVP to hype a match with Omos to see if they can do business. MVP says Lesnar is "the Beast Incarnate" and that the second Lesnar puts his hands on a man, that man has no chance. He then says he had his hands full with Omos and says that when he puts his hands on a giant, the giant puts his hands on him back. He says a beast will destroy any man, but a giant can subdue and conquer a beast, and while Lesnar can destroy any man he wants, he will not be able to do that to Omos. Lesnar laughs and admits that MVP did a good job on hyping the match up, then tells MVP that was "damn good" and that he accepts his challenge. He also says they should shake on it and drink on it, then both of them look at the WrestleMania sign while Lesnar makes it official. Both men shake hands, then MVP is about to open the bottle in the ice bucket when Lesnar produces a whiskey flask. Lesnar says they should have "the good stuff" if they are going to make this official, then he drinks from the flask. MVP goes for the champagne, but Lesnar insists on the flask, asking "You don't intend for me to drink alone, do you?" After finding out that a drink called "White Lightning" is in the flask, MVP takes a swig, then spits it out in Lesnar's face. Lesnar is unfazed as he cleans his face with MVP's handkerchief, then he hits MVP with the F5.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Lita and Becky Lynch. Lita says that some of her favorite career highlights have been among legendary tag teams, so to walk out as a tag team champion is a true bucket list check. Becky admits this is also a good bucket list item despite the fact that she does not play well with others, and one way or another, she and Lita will walk out tag team champions.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Chad Gable (and messes with Otis before the end of the match by getting him to look at a woman in the crowd). After the match, Cody addresses his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match with Roman, then says that Roman will be on SmackDown this week and that he will be there, too.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Baron Corbin. Corbin says it has been no secret that things are not going his way, and that he has heard what people are saying. Byron Saxton then notices Kevin Owens and cuts the interview short, then interviews Owens. Owens says that other people are suffering the consequences for their actions, and that he wants to see The Bloodline fall and that he does not want or need any help doing that.

We see Bianca Belair and Montez Ford re-enact a scene from Titanic for WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.

We hear from The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) backstage. Dominik Mysterio mentions what happened between himself and Rey Mysterio last week, then says he and Rhea Ripley will be there next week for their heart-to-heart talk and that Rey will not be able to do anything afterwards. Rhea Ripley then says that last week, she looked into Charlotte Flair's eyes and saw acceptance, as nothing Charlotte could say or do could keep her from accepting her fate, and that she will become the new SmackDown Women's Champion. Finn Balor it is over between him and Edge when he says it is over, and if Edge accepts his challenge, they will end it once and for all at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Maximum Male Models (Maxxine Dupri, Mansoor, Mace) meets with Otis. Maxxine Dupri asks Otis if he has considered her offer, and says that if he were to have a match tonight, they can be in his corner tonight. Otis likes the idea, and heads to WWE official Adam Pearce for a match.

He says Otis beat him a few months back, then The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) shows up. After Gargano calls Priest "an adult going through a goth phase," Priest admits that Johnny Gargano has "a pair of stones" after he laid him out in the Elimination Chamber, and as Priest decides to lay him out again, Finn Balor stops Priest and says that Otis will flatten him and that if he does not get the job done, he will finish it himself. Gargano responds "Sounds delicious. I'll see you next week."

It's time for a WrestleMania edition of Miz TV. Miz mentions his ninth wedding anniversary with Maryse as well as the gift that Maryse gave him, and to announce this gift, he brings out tonight's special guest: himself. Miz announces that he is the host of this year's WrestleMania and proclaims it will be bigger than the Grammys and the Oscars, and that this year's WrestleMania will go viral. He runs down the card so far for this year's event, then Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up. Miz angrily asks Rollins what he is doing here, and Rollins laughs before congratulating him and saying he is not here to rain on his parade, but Miz says Rollins has done exactly that for the last three weeks. Rollins says he only stomped him because he was being a bit of a jerk and "being a bit of a b-hole." Miz says he is an A-type of person, not a B-type, and when Rollins asks if Miz is admitting he is an "A-hole," Miz says that is not what he meant. Rollins then says he has a favor to ask of him, as he has been trying to get a hold of Logan Paul and it has been proven difficult, and thinks Miz might have better success calling him as he knows him better. Miz declines, saying Logan Paul is Rollins' problem, not his. As he calls Rollins "a goofball in a stupid jacket," Rollins superkicks him. Rollins then notices Miz's cellphone and takes a picture of The Miz with it before tossing a chair out of the ring before getting a hold of Logan Paul and asking how Jake Paul is doing before proposing that Logan face him on Raw next week. Logan says they have a deal and that he would love to see him run his mouth, then Rollins says "Bye bye, bitch!" before hanging up on him. As Rollins leaves, he notices The Miz trying to get up, and he hits Miz with The Stomp.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky). Bayley says she is glad Becky Lynch and Lita are confident, as Damage CTRL has been everywhere and proving that nobody is a match for them. She then says this is more about championships, but also about their story. After Damage CTRL shows up, Austin Theory shows up and says everyone is talking about John Cena, not him, and that the fans only like his image of hustle, loyalty and respect when he is the image of it. He then says that he respects Cena and that he will look Cena in the eye and give him the respect he deserves, and all he asks is that Cena give him the same treatment.

Bobby Lashley beats Elias with the Hurt Lock as Rick Boogs is taking notes on the match backstage. After the match, Lashley says that he is not in a good mood right now, because he owned Brock Lesnar at Elimination Chamber and Lesnar resorted to a low blow. He says that he wants more of Lesnar, but instead, he gets Bray Wyatt and his "kid games." Lashley says he does not play "little kid games," and warns Bray to keep his name out of his mouth, or else he will hurt him. As Lashley leaves, Bray Wyatt shows up on the TitanTron and does the Muscle Man Dance as images of Lashley are shown throughout. Bray then warns Lashley that he should run.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 13, 2023

Becky Lynch and WWE official Adam Pearce are already in the ring to start tonight's show. She says that as good as it felt to beat Bayley in a steel cage match and to have Lita having her back, she realized that her path to WrestleMania was no longer clear and she has been so distracted by Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) and that she lost sight of championship gold. She says that as good as it felt to beat Bayley in a steel cage match and to have Lita having her back, she realized that her path to WrestleMania was no longer clear and she has been so distracted by Damage CTRL and that she lost sight of championship gold. Bayley shows up and tells Becky that if she thinks she is getting into the Women's Elimination Chamber Match after what happened between them, she is stupider than the fans, as she did not finish the job and Lita had to finish the job for her. After Becky reminds Bayley that Lita took care of Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai so she could take care of her, Bayley wants the steel cage match stricken from the record books. Bayley says she is a grand slam champion, but Becky says she has main evented WrestleMania. Becky and Bayley then argue about their accomplishments, then Bianca Belair shows up and says that she likes where this is going and says they should go through her to compete in the Elimination Chamber. Adam Pearce makes a Triple Threat Match between the three of them. If Bayley or Becky win, they can enter the Elimination Chamber and start the match off as a a Triple Threat Match, but if neither of them win, neither of them can get in the Chamber.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio). Damian Priest asks if the other men in the United States Championship Elimination Chamber Match are ready for him, and Dominik says he knows Damian will win that match. He also says that Rhea Ripley is still traveling the world, but is still excited for Elimination Chamber. Finn Balor then says that The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) will be "rolled up, bowled up and smoked up" tonight.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) following the distraction from Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Priest superkicks Ford in the face, but as The Judgment Day attack Ford, Edge and "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix run out to the ring. Edge fends off Finn Balor and Damian Priest, then Rhea Ripley shows up out of nowhere to save Dominik from Beth.

WWE official Adam Pearce oversees a contract signing for Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber. Brock Lesnar shows up first and throws a chair out of the ring, having already signed the contract last week. Pearce then says that he needs Lashley's signature, then Lesnar calls Lashley out. Additional security personnel show up, then three backstage workers bring out a table and chair before Lashley shows up. Lashley says this is not "The Brock Lesnar Show" after Adam Pearce says this is not necessary, and says that whenever he and Lesnar have squared off, he has left him laying, and now, he is in the driver's seat and they are doing things on his terms. He sits as his own table as he says that he has had everyone look at the contract, then says he does not know if he going to sign the contract before Lesnar tells him to get up to the ring and sign the contract. Lashley refuses, and Lesnar threatens to beat Lashley up and make him sign the contract. Lashley says they are face-to-face and that Lesnar does not have the balls to do it. Lesnar then powers through security to make good on his promise. At the stage, however, Lashley slams him into the ramp and hits him with a Spear, then heads to the ring, grabs the contract and signs it before placing it on top of a downed Lesnar.

Piper Niven beats "Michin" Mia Yim.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Baron Corbin. Corbin says it has been a really depressing week, then the cameras cut to Sami Zayn, who is wearing a black hoodie and is suddenly in the ring. Sami says he is not here to hold up the show, then tells "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes that he knows he is here and asks Cody to indulge him and come to the ring. Cody heads to the ring. Sami mentions Cody's verbal altercation with Paul Heyman, then mentions the possibility of the two of them facing off at WrestleMania. He then asks Cody to tell him if it is just lip service or he believes Sami can beat Roman Reigns. Cody says that he meant it when he said that Sami could beat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, then says that what really matters is not what he believes, but what Sami believes. Cody asks Sami if he believes he can defeat Roman Reigns, and Sami admits he does not know, because Cody has not seen what he has seen as part of The Bloodline for the last nine months and The Bloodline always finds a way. He also says that "G.O.D. Mode" is not a catchphrase and that Roman Reigns is now the best he has ever been, and that he has seen bigger men walking into matches with Roman Reigns only for all of them to go down. He then says that if he is capable of beating Roman Reigns, becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and main eventing WrestleMania, he says yes, but on the subject of walking out of Elimination Chamber as champion, he does not know. Cody finds it strange that Cody does not know when all the fans now, but while he has not seen Roman Reigns up close, there is dissension in The Bloodline and it is all because of Sami. He says that Roman Reigns is still a man, and if he were to crack him open at Elimination Chamber, he would find out for himself. He then says that he intends to finish his story and that Sami should finish his. Cody then says he does not want to see Sami on Raw next Monday, because he would rather want to see him at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Carmella is met by Nikki Cross, who says she was playing hide-and-seek with her new friend. Carmella is creeped out and is more focused on Elimination Chamber, then finds out Asuka is behind her. Carmella runs off, then Candice LeRae shows up. When Candice wants to know why Nikki is following her, Nikki laughs at her and walks away.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Baron Corbin again. Corbin says he is better off without JBL, as he gives him bad advice and hobbles around in a cowboy hat, as he is the past. He says that it is time to prove who Baron Corbin is, and that he is sick and tired of being overlooked. He also says that Roman Reigns will destroy Sami Zayn in front of friend and family, then says he was the last person to beat Roman before he went undefeated. He then says that Roman Reigns has another opponent in "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who he says was handed opportunities as Cody Rhodes watches from afar. As he says that Cody Rhodes and his family are a joke, Cody jumps Corbin. Cody then fights across a group of referees and calls for a referee for an impromptu match, and Cody attacks Corbin all the way down the ramp and into the ring.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Baron Corbin.

Backstage, Natalya is not happy about Becky Lynch and Bayley worming their way into the Women's Elimination Chamber match, but Liv sees them as one more person to beat on the road to WrestleMania. As Natalya takes offense to not being seen as a threat, Raquel Rodriguez tells them to save it for Saturday.

Carmella, Asuka and Nikki Cross beat Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Natalya in a six-woman tag match after Asuka attacks everyone before winning the match with an Asuka Lock on Liv Morgan.

Backstage, Otis is eating a hot dog as Chad Gable talks about redoing the Alpha Academy curriculum. When Chad Gable takes the hot dog and throws it away, it hits Mansoor. Maxxine Dupri wants to know if Otis has modeling experience and hands him their business card, then Maximum Male Models (Maxxine Dupri, Mace, Mansoor) leaves. Bronson Reed then walks up to Gable and Otis, snickers, then heads to the ring.

Bronson Reed beats Mustafa Ali.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Edge and Beth Phoenix. Edge says he has been getting tired of the back-and-forth with The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) for the past year, and Beth says The Judgment Day will find out why they are called "The Grit Couple."

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. On the subject of Logan Paul, Rollins says that if you have nothing nice to say about some, don't saying anything at all, but Miz mentions Rollins being eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Logan Paul and talking about him on social media. When Miz asks why he will not mention him in real life, Rollins responds with "Shut up, Mike!" - leading to a chant - then says he refuses to talk about him because of WrestleMania, as he wants to headline WrestleMania and that is all that matters to him. He then says that Logan Paul doesn't give a damn about that dream, for he is selfish, soulless and only concerned about lining his own pockets, and says he does not mention him in real life because he does not deserve it. Rollins then goes on to say that Logan wants attention, but what he needs is his teeth kicked in. Miz accuses Rollins of jealousy, but Rollins says that is not it and that Miz cannot be that stupid. Miz says he is not stupid, but Rollins - and the fans - think otherwise, saying he is the only double Grand Slam Champion to headline WrestleMania, which Rollins will never do because of Logan Paul. After some Super Mario Bros. jokes from Miz, Rollins punches Miz in the face and hits him with a chair, then Austin Theory pulls Rollins out of the ring, forcing Rollins to fend him off. Rollins avoids a Skull Crushing Finale, then hits him with The Stomp before Austin Theory gets back in the ring and hits Rollins with A-Town Down.

Backstage, Rick Boogs is met by Elias, who states that he has heard all the comparisons between them, and tells him not to let a potential loss to The Miz get to him. After Elias says they could do a collaboration someday, Boogs says he was born to rip and shred and that he is "Booged Out."

Before the next match, The Miz says the next match is not happening after what just happened to him, but the bell is rung anyway and Rick Boogs beats him for the win.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 6, 2023

Edge and "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix head to the ring to start tonight's show. Edge says that he is back for The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio), which he admits is his fault. He says the idea was to elevate talent he felt truly deserved it, and it worked, and all of its members are in a better spot than they were a year ago. He then says that while Finn Balor did not have what it took to make him quit, he was forced to quit when the rest of The Judgment Day held his wife hostage and made him feel helpless. Edge mockingly golf claps for The Judgment Day, who he says made a bad problem even worse, because he is a "cruel, vindictive, sick bastard" who will sink to any level to get his pound of flesh. Beth Phoenix then tells The Judgment Day that if they have the stones, they are here to finish things. Suddenly, The Judgment Day - minus Rhea Ripley - show up. Finn Balor says they have beaten Edge down time and time again and that it is time for Edge to quit, then Dominik Mysterio says word on the street is that he has served hard time since Edge has been gone. He then tells Edge and Beth to run along before he does to them what he did to his "deadbeat dad," then Damian Priest tells Edge and Rey are something else and that they keep beating them down only for them to keep coming back. He threatens to make what happened at Extreme Rules look like child's play if he gets back up again, then says that after Angelo Dawkins is cooked and he qualifies for the Elimination Chamber, he will become United States Champion again. Dominik Mysterio then says he wishes Rhea Ripley was here so she could see what they will do to him, but Edge tells them to shut up and says that The Judgment Day do not know what they want, as they drop each other while he and Beth have each other's backs. Beth then says the only reason Rhea Ripley really is not here is because she Speared her soul out of her body, then says she is here to beat Rhea's ass. She then says that since Rhea is not here, she and Edge can fight Finn and Rhea at Elimination Chamber. Dominik accepts on Rhea's behalf, and Finn also accepts, then says that assumes Edge and Beth make it to Elimination Chamber. The Judgment Day then surround the ring, but as they go on the attack, Angelo Dawkins runs into the ring and fights Damian Priest just before their Elimination Chamber qualifier. After Edge hits Damian Priest with a Spear, Montez Ford shows up and throws Dominik into the ring so that Beth Phoenix can hit him with a Glam Slam.

Becky then says that her idea of success was smashing faces, but Bayley did not like that and she injured her and brought her family into this. She says that Bayley will learn not to bring her family into things, then says Bayley can bring everything she wants, because there is one hand she has not played yet.

Brock Lesnar heads to the ring. Lesnar talks about how he was eliminated in the men's Royal Rumble by Bobby Lashley, then says he had to get his head together last week as Lashley struck a chord with him and he could not get Lashley out of his head. He talks about how he could not get Lashley out of his head as he went hunting, ice fishing, having a steak dinner and even crawling into bed with his wife, then says he has a million dollar contract for a match with Lashley at Elimination Chamber. After pulling out the contract, he says Lashley will come out here and sign the contract if he has a set of balls. Lashley shows up and brings up their recent history where he kept leaving Lesnar laying. Lashley takes the contract and says things will be done on his terms, then says he will let his agent, manager, and lawyer look at it before he gets back to him. He then asks Lesnar if he is surprised he has one up on him, then Lesnar grabs him and hits him with the F-5. The crowd chants "One more time," and Lesnar then hits Lashley with another F-5.

Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin - now under MVP's leadership again - beat Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis).

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The Miz, who says that he is billing WWE official Adam Pearce with the bill for the damages to his $10,000 suit last week, then Rick Boogs shows up from out of Pearce's office as Miz talks about him. Boogs says he is happy to be reunited with the fans, but Miz tells Boogs to "cut the humble crap" and that he would have beaten him if Pearce let him wear his ring gear before calling Pearce lazy and incompetent. Pearce overheards the name calling and makes a rematch between Miz and Boogs for next week, then Boogs flexes on his flex bar before he and Miz leave. Chelsea Green then shows up and says she is heading to the ring next. She then demands an opponent before she calls Pearce's manager, then leaves.

Asuka beats Chelsea Green by submission. During the match, Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan, Carmella and Natalya show up to watch from ringside, much to Chelsea's chagrin. After the match, Bianca Belair shows up and tells everyone in the ring and at ringside to look at each other and tell her what they see, as she sees six top-tier women in WWE. She then asks who has what it takes to win in the Elimination Chamber and face her. She says she was in their position last year and that she had what it took to win and become WWE Raw Women's Championship, then wishes everyone good luck, as she will be waiting to meet whoever makes it out at WrestleMania.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. Cody says his road to WrestleMania is straight, but the path is a bit foggy as Roman Reigns is putting his titles on the line against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber. Cody says that it looks more and more like he might face Sami Zayn at WrestleMania, then says he has respect for anyone fighting an injustice against them such as Sami Zayn, then says "May the best man win." Paul Heyman then shows up and tells Cody will one day find out in his life that life at the very top requires an understanding that the only week busier than the one leading into a major event is the week coming out of that event. Heyman says he and Roman Reigns have had a lot on their plate and that things have fallen through the cracks, and that he and Roman want to congratulate Cody on winning the men's Royal Rumble match before shaking his hand. Cody says his father and his brother had a nickname for Heyman, but he goes ahead and calls him "Mr. Heyman" because he has a deep respect for him. He then pulls the curtain back to tell a story that should be told. Cody talks about how back in the year 2000, his family went broke, and his father had to do car commercials had to do car commercials to keep the car. Suddenly, his father got a phone call from Heyman to appear on ECW for good money. Cody thanks Heyman for keeping his word and giving his father his confidence back, and thanks Heyman for showing him the way. Heyman admits Cody caught him off guard, then says this is not about him, but about Cody and everything he has ever fought for just to get here, and that winning WrestleMania is a whole other story and that getting to WrestleMania is the real story to see if his dreams come true. He reminds Cody that he is facing Roman Reigns, and calls it no easy task for any mere mortal before asking if Cody will thrive or struggle under the spotlight. He then mentions Cody's father Dusty Rhodes prepping the biggest stars of this generation across the road at the WWE Performance Center. He then says that Dusty did not train nor prep Cody, and says that Dusty maybe wanted him to succeed on his own and not go through life as just his son. Heyman then mentions that in his last conversation with Dusty, Dusty told him that Cody was his favorite son, but that Roman Reigns was the son he always wanted. He then drops the microphone, then Cody walks right up to Heyman. Cody grabs Heyman's right hand, then says he is trying to win a wrestling championship and that everyone is trying to make it personal. He then says that Heyman just did that and Roman will pay for it when he takes his titles personally.

Titus says that when he accomplished all that he did in WWE, he thought that he had reached the height of his accomplishments, but little did he know that he would become a WWE Global Ambassador. He says that he gets to represent WWE all over the world, and that good will is needed all over the world more than ever. Titus says that WWE does all they can to put smiles on people's faces both in and out of the ring. He says that their community and military outreach brings people together to do good, and that WWE will never talk about divisive subject matter and that regardless of who one is, WWE is a place that everyone deserves to have as a safe haven and as a good time. She then says that every journey has its station, and while she has hit Derail Station, she has made it to Legendary Road and that the fans can get off at Appreciation Station when she becomes a champion. Becky then says she has been informed that the winner of tonight's women's championship match will have to defend the title against her, then says she could, will and can become champion. Suddenly, Bianca Belair shows up. Bianca calls Becky's actions from last week "foul" and that she had to distract her just to cost her her match, then says that this is her comeback story, not Becky's. She calls losing the SmackDown Women's Championship to her the lowest part of her career, and ever since then, she saw every opportunity as a chance to redeem her reputation, and one year later, she did just that with the Raw Women's Championship. She then says that after she beats Carmella tonight, she will rewrite the last chapter of her story and kick Becky's caboose all the way back to Ireland. Carmella then appears and tells Bianca she is making a big mistake overlooking her before bragging about last week's win, calling Becky's distraction convenient and saying Bianca was outmatched. She also says that if Becky loses that way again, she will become Raw Women's Champion, and as Bianca says she will remind everyone why she is the "EST of WWE," Becky and Carmella attack Bianca. Bianca fights back, but Becky hits Bianca with a Manhandle Slam.

Owens says that he has had to step away from the last few months after trying to prove that Elias and Ezekiel were the same person and went to a nature retreat to find his inner peace, and he could not help but notice how cool and calm Riddle is. Owens says that he does not care about Elias and Ezekiel anymore and that he called Riddle out to The Kevin Owens Show because of his match against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins at SummerSlam. Owens says Rollins also caused him anguish by pretending to be his best friend and betrayed him as he tried to get on WrestleMania, then says that while RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) was good, "Bro-KO" would be great. Riddle calls Owens the biggest liar he knows, but Owens says he has turned over a new leaf and that he will prove that he will never lie again, after calling Orton the biggest snake in WWE, which Riddle takes offense to. Seth Rollins' music hits not once, but twice, and as Riddle dares Rollins to fight him, Rollins attacks him from behind and hits The Stomp. Rollins then clears the ring to hit The Stomp again.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Seth "Freakin" Rollins, who says that Matt Riddle is so stupid that he drives him insane and that his stupidity is turning into arrogance. He says that Riddle thinks Randy Orton cares about him and that he can actually beat him at SummerSlam. Ezekiel suddenly confronts Rollins for his actions, but Rollins says he can do whatever we wants and nobody can stop him, and as Rollins says he can stomp Elias, Ezekiel tells Rollins not to mention his family. Rollins tells Ezekiel to stay out of his business, but Ezekiel says business is about to pick up.

Before the next match, Damian Priest says he and Finn Balor chose not to injure Dominik Mysterio because Dominik will make the right decision and join them, even going so far as to guarantee he will drop his father Rey Mysterio and join him. He says that Rey Mysterio is stifling Dominik Mysterio and holding back his true potential, then reminds the fans of what they did to Edge. As Finn Balor says he can watch their attack on Edge over and over again, Rey and Dominik Mysterio show up for the next match.

Before the next match, Austin Theory says that SummerSlam is fast approaching and that he will take the United States title back from Bobby Lashley before cashing in his Money In The Bank contract to become Undisputed WWE Champion. He says that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are going to absolutely destroy each other, and after some footage of Brock Lesnar beating up Alpha Academy from last week plays, he says SummerSlam is the perfect opportunity to cash in. Theory says that he always comes through in the clutch and that the locker room not only does not like him because of it, but is also jealous of him. He also says that Dolph Ziggler attacked him because he is jealous. After footage from last week of Dolph Ziggler attacking him, Theory brags that nobody is on his level before "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up. Styles says that Theory is making promises, then promises that regardless of what Theory gets done at SummerSlam, he will be the first to take championship gold from him. He also tells Theory that the locker room is not jealous of him and actually think he is "a big jackass." Theory says he has become the youngest United States Champion and the youngest Money In The Bank winner after less than a year on Raw, then mockingly asks Styles what he was doing at his age and that the fans should be calling him phenomenal. As Theory explains why Styles does not like him, Styles says that there is not enough time on the show for him to explain why, then says he is proud of where he came from and that he will be the man to knock respect into him before punching Theory. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler shows up.

Heyman says that going from the most barbaric WrestleMania to the most barbaric SummerSlam plays right into Lesnar's hand, then says Roman made his mark athletically while Lesnar did it by annihilating people. He says that if Lesnar has to put Roman down for the count of ten, then that is what he is going to do, even if that means putting him down for longer, sending him to the hospital or sending him to the morgue. He calls Lesnar a beast, not a man, that wants revenge against Roman Reigns, then gives Lesnar his word that Roman Reigns' near-700-day reign is a streak he will not break, for he will get Roman ready for him. Heyman says that if Roman even has to stick his hand in Lesnar's ass and pull his heart out, then that is what Roman is going to do. Suddenly, Austin Theory shows up. Theory says SummerSlam will be one of the greatest nights in WWE history when he takes back the United States Championship before watching Lesnar and Roman's match and cashing in afterwards to become Universal Champion. Finn Balor asks Dominik when he will learn to see things like they do and that Rey Mysterio will not be able to protect him, as Edge is also a legend and they also took him out. Miz says he knows what Logan Paul is doing and that he is stirring up controversy, which nobody does better than the two of them, then gives Logan Paul one more chance to retract his statements or else he will team up with Ciampa. He then says that he and Ciampa will show just how well they worked together against AJ Styles tonight, when all eyes are on them. Styles then shows up. Styles tells Miz to shut his mouth, as nobody cares what he has to say, then says that every time he turns his back, Miz or Ciampa always attacks him. After welcoming everyone to tonight's show, Lashley says he is glad to be the new United States Champion, but the title does not make the man; the man makes the title. He says there is no other man in any division or promotion that can beat him for the title. Suddenly, Austin Theory shows up and takes offense to Lashley kicking the show off, as everyone has been on the edge of their seats to hear from him. He says that while Lashley got his victory, he is the youngest Mr. Money In The Bank in WWE history. Theory says he had the odds stacked against him against seasoned veterans and previous briefcase winners, and while Lashley had him in the first half, he shined brighter than ever in the clutch, grabbed the briefcase and proved he can do this all day. Lashley says he thought Theory was trying to be an arrogant jackass, but it is obvious to him it is second nature to Theory, and says that Theory was only in the match because he shattered his ego. Theory mentions their six-man tag match tonight, then says that compared to Lashley, he is always "making it happen" and he is going to the top with the Money In The Bank contract, especially when he has gotten a rematch for the United States title at SummerSlam. Theory says this is only the start of his SummerSlam plans, because when Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns face each other for the WWE Undisputed Championship, the last man standing is going A-Town Down. Theory says that when that happens, he will become the unified and undisputed WWE Champion at 24 years old, but Lashley tells Theory he forgot about the "if" part and that the fans deserve some fireworks tonight on Independence Day. Theory throws his Money In The Bank briefcase at Lashley and hits him with a cheap shot before hitting him with the briefcase. He goes for one last shot to the gut, but Lashley blocks, counters with a back elbow, and slams him to the mat.

Backstage, Megan Morant interviews The Miz, who says that he loves confidence and wild, outlandish statements that make headlines, as this is how Logan Paul has gotten his fanbase, yet he surrounds himself with "yes men." He says that WWE is a different animal and that it can eat someone alive, and that he does not want Logan Paul to make the same mistakes he made. He tells Logan to retract his statement and take his offer to ensure his success. He then says that if Logan Paul does not, he will become relentless and Logan will be humbled. As for his match with AJ Styles last week, he says Styles will be the one quitting tonight when he shows that he has a big manhood.

In backstage footage from earlier today, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) host an Independence Day cookout when Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) show up. Chad Gable questions The Street Profits partying after Saturday's loss and that he does not care about Montez's shoulder being up. Liv Morgan heads to the ring. Liv responds to the "You deserve it!" chants by saying "Thank you, guys, but we deserve it!" She says she is proud to be SmackDown Women's Champion and that all of her dreams came true thanks to one unbelievable night at Money In The Bank. She thanks the fans for getting her through that night and staying with her through every step of her journey, even when it felt like she gave nothing to believe in, as the fans gave her the confidence she needed to become champion in one night. Liv Morgan says that this victory is not just for her, but for the fans. Suddenly, Natalya shows up. Natalya says Liv should be thanking her, as she is the only reason Liv was able to cash in after she destroyed "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey's leg with the Sharpshooter, and instead of taking a thank you, she would rather take her title. Liv says Natalya cannot handle losing to Ronda and that it would make sense for her to go after the giant target on her back, and if Natalya wants a title shot, she knows exactly where to find her. Suddenly, Carmella shows up. Carmella wants to know why Liv and Natalya are on Raw and tells them to go back to SmackDown, then says she finds it shocking that they can share a ring. She then tells them to leave so she can have the spotlight. Liv says all eyes were on Carmella when she lost to Bianca Belair, then tells Carmella to make her get out if she wants her out of the ring. Carmella and Natalya then gang up on Liv in the corner until Bianca Belair runs in. When Reggie runs into Omos, Omos tosses him. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) also meet Ezekiel, who talks about a hot dog eating contest with his two brothers that went wrong. He suddenly inadvertently squirts ketchup on Seth "Freakin'" Rollins' shirt. Rollins suddenly laughs it off, licks the ketchup, then walks off. The Street Profits then make a "Seth Zeke-in' Rollins" joke.

The mysterious vignette from Saturday night is replayed. (Just like on Saturday, certain things can be seen, such as an Olympic gold medal, glasses without lenses, a "Latino Heat" license plate, and Jeff Hardy's sleeves.)

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats Ezekiel with The Stomp following a backslide pin. After the match, Rollins goes for another Stomp on Ezekiel, but he is hit with an RKO out of nowhere by Matt Riddle.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Angelo Dawkins and Otis have a hot dog eating contest. Otis wins 23 to 22...almost. Akira Tozawa wins with 48 hot dogs. Austin Theory reminds Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) they have a six-man tag match after Otis says he does not feel well.
