Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for July 23, 2025

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Hangman says that he will punish Wheeler Yuta for what happened to Colt Cabana last week and that he will have no remorse. MJF shows up and tells Hangman that he will beat him for the World Championship, but Hangman says that will not happen unless he cashes in his Casino Gauntlet Match contract because MJF is a gutless coward.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Wheeler Yuta. After the match, Hangman grabs a metal chain, wraps it around his right hand, and punches Wheeler Yuta repeatedly with it. Hangman then chokes out Yuta - whose forehead is now busted open - and asks Yuta if he sees what he has made him do and tells him that nobody is coming to save him. He then spares Yuta and leaves.

Backstage, we hear from Athena and Billie Starkz. Billie says that Toni Storm cannot touch Athena in the ring, and Athena tells Billie to take Toni out so that she can take the AEW Women's World Championship that should be hers.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight to advance in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament Match after Dax grabs onto Stokely Hathaway's crutch for leverage as he sits down on a Victory Roll attempt by Kevin Knight. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews FTR and Stokely. Stokely says Adam Copeland belongs in prison. He says that he is not a professional wrestling and that Copeland had no business putting his hands on him before proceeding to call Copeland "a cancer on AEW" before Copeland shows up. Copeland tells Stokely that even though he cannot approach Stokely and FTR, he has made a business agreement with some gentlemen whose business is hurting people: The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin). Lashley and Shelton get in the ring with FTR and brawl, and officials and security have to rush out to restore order. Copeland goes for Stokely in the ring, but Stokely uses a security guard as a human shield and escapes.

We hear from Kip Sabian, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, and Mother Wayne. The three of them agree it is time, and Nick Wayne says they will back up their words from last week physically. Nick Wayne says that starting Saturday, they will show exactly what they are capable of when "un-Caged."

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that "Hangman" Adam Page fought the fight and dug down deep at All In Texas. He says that even he can celebrate this, and while he lost the match, he is ready to go for a rematch. He says a mistake was made, and he will fix it one way or another.

Will Ospreay heads to the ring. Ospreay wishes he was wrestling tonight, then says he has been struggling with his neck for ten months. He says he has made promises to Swerve Strickland, "Hangman" Adam Page and the fans, and while the sacrifice was made, the world title is back. He says that after what happened at All In, he found out that two discs have been affected; thankfully, it is treatable, and all going well, he should be back for Forbidden Door. Ospreay thanks Swerve and says it was an honor to fight by Hangman's side and that he looks forward to a rematch, then warns The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) that he is coming for them as soon as he is healthy. Ospreay and Swerve embrace as soon as Ospreay makes his way up the ramp.

We see a vignette for Julia Hart, Skye Blue and "The Toxic Spider" Thekla, who promise to go through the whole women's roster.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale, who says that there is a sense of renewal in the air after All In Texas. She says she had "The Toxic Spider" Thekla beaten recently, then says that Thekla can find her in the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin). MJF shows up, confused that they are now allied with Adam Copeland, but MVP says they made a business arrangement. MJF wants to know how this will get the World Championship around his waist, and Lashley makes it very clear to MJF that they are not his lackeys and that he wants him out of The Hurt Syndicate. Shelton and MVP are just as disappointed in MJF.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Billie Starkz by submission with the TCM Chickenwing in an AEW World Women's Championship Eliminator Match. Athena is seen watching from the balcony throughout the match. After the match, Billie Starkz hits Toni Storm with the AEW Women's World Championship, then tells Athena to come down to the ring to cash in Toni Storm. Starkz throws referee Aubrey Edwards out of the ring before Athena hits Toni with her clipboard. Starkz then throws referee Aubrey Edwards back into the ring so that Athena can cash in, but Alex Windsor shows up, dodges Starkz and attacks Athena. When Starkz gets back in the ring, Windsor fends her off, too.

Don Callis introduces Hechicero before guesting on commentary for the next match.

Swerve Strickland beats Hechicero by disqualification after Swerve is attacked by Lance Archer. After the match, Brody King and Bandido show up and fight both Hechicero and Lance Archer all the way to the back, then Swerve is attacked from behind with a metal folding chair by "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Okada goes for a piledriver, but Swerve blocks it and wraps the chair around Okada's neck only for Don Callis and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander to save Okada.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Ricochet and Gates of Agony brag about their recent victories, then Ricochet says they will invest their recently earned $200,000 into their quest for gold and that everyone will either respect or fear them.

MJF heads to the ring. MJF says he does not need Bobby Lashley to get the AEW World Championship back, and says that "Hangman" Adam Page is the real coward for not wanting to wrestle him unless he cashes in his Casino Gauntlet Match contract. After MJF states that he will wrestle and beat Hangman fair and square for the AEW World Championship, Mark Briscoe shows up and says that while he wants to shove the microphone up MJF's ass, he has kids to feed. He says that "that opportunistic bastard" MJF stole the Casino Gauntlet Match win from him before challenging him to a match next week, which MJF declines, declaring that Briscoe loses when the pressure is on while he wins. MJF states that he is the most complete professional wrestler in the world today and tells Briscoe that he sucks and is "white trash" just like the fans in the Midwest, who cannot get enough of Briscoe because of how he entertains them. He then states that not even his biggest fans think Briscoe is a "top guy" or anywhere near his level, and calls him "a joke" and a clown who is brought out for cheap laughs, stating that he is not respected or feared like Jay Briscoe. MJF says that he cannot see how Mark Briscoe looks in the mirror thinking anyone will respect him as much as his brother. Briscoe runs into the ring, and MJF runs away.

Mark Briscoe beats Claudio Castagnoli with an inside cradle. After the match, Marina Shafir hits Mark Briscoe from behind with a chop block, then Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta show up. Claudio slams Briscoe into an open chair before Moxley says that "Hangman" Adam Page is no champion and decides to make an example out of Briscoe. Hangman says that Moxley was lying when he said he wanted a Texas Death Match, then tells Moxley that he will prove to him that he has what it takes to be a champion, and challenges him to a rematch for the World Championship next week. He then says that Moxley is the challenger this time and will play by his rules, and this time, everyone will be banned from ringside. Hangman then says he knows Moxley's answer will be yes, and that he will see him next week.

Here are the highlights for tonight's show!
