Dion Lennox says that Saquon was an indy wrestler who knew his way around the ring, but Osiris says Saquon made things harder than necessary. Dion Lennox says that Saquon was an indy wrestler who knew his way around the ring, but Osiris says Saquon made things harder than necessary. Cutler says that success by the individual is success for the group, and that Saquon forgot that and became a liability. He says that Saquon went into every situation blind and was never prepared for the consequences, and for that, he failed DarkState, and last week was the last straw. Lennox says that could have been him, and says Saquon tried to turn DarkState against him due to his own jealously and belief that he was better. Lennox says John Cena picked him for the Iron Survivor Challenge and that he earned it. He says that the DarkState vehicle is for everyone and that he built it brick by brick, and says there is no DarkState without him and that he will not let Saquon tear it down. Osiris says that they are going back to what they do best when the lights go out, then Lennox warns everyone they have spared in the last few months and says that if it was not safe before, then no one has seen anything yet. (Instances of Saquon Shugars are crossed out in both LED board imagery as well as in post-promo footage.)

He then says it is his turn when he faces Kam Hendrix next week. D'Angelo says that he is not here to talk about Hendrix's potential or readiness, then proclaims that Hendrix will not be NXT Champion next week. He then addresses Naraku, stating that it is about time they meet face-to-face. Naraku shows up and heads to the ring, and D'Angelo tells Naraku to get straight to the point. Naraku says he wants to keep D'Angelo and his title safe, but D'Angelo does not buy it, and says he will take care of Hendrix before he takes care of him. Naraku says he will keep D'Angelo and his title safe because it is destiny that they go to war, then Kam Hendrix shows up and tells D'Angelo that he has seven days left before it is "Lights, Kam, Action" for the NXT Championship. Hendrix says that D'Angelo is running into a buzzsaw that he cannot stop, as he has beaten two former champions last week and he is about to beat a pillar of NXT next week. D'Angelo says Hendrix may be a premier athelte, but sees his title as a status symbol. D'Angelo tells Hendrix he sacrificed everything and spent five years in NXT to earn the NXT Championship, and yet he is facing someone who does not even deserve a shot at it. D'Angelo then tells Hendrix that beating him for the title is not going to happen, and when he turns his back to leave, Hendrix goes for a cheap shot only to be caught and tossed out of the ring by Naraku.

Shiloh Hill beats Charlie Dempsey after pinning Dempsey's shoulders to the mat with a Northern Lights suplex. After the match, Tristan Angels tells Shiloh Hill that he is incensed with Shiloh calling himself "Mr. NXT," then says that he must teach him a lesson for the rest of his life, as Shiloh "cannot hack it in [his] domain." He says that there will be a "Mr. NXT" pageant where he will beat Shiloh once and for all. Shiloh says he cannot wait to embarrass Angels, and tells him to bring it on.

Backstage, Shawn Spears tells Izzi Dame that says he and Niko Vance should not have had a match on the same night as her championship match and that he was "doing the right thing," much to Izzi's chagrin.

Lola Vice retains the NXT Women's Championship against Izzi Dame. During the match, Shawn Spears grabs at Lola on the outside behind the ref's back, and while that allows Izzi to hit a Backstabber, Spears and Vance are soon attacked by OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price), who force them to the back. Later on, Izzi inadvertently knocks out the referee with a Busaiku Knee meant for Lola. At one point, Izzi uses the Women's title as a weapon by throwing it to Lola and booting the title into Lola's face, but Lola still kicks out. Lola wins after Izzi counters a guillotine choke with a pinfall attempt only for Lola to hit a second spinning back fist to win and retain.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 10, 2026

Tatum Paxley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Tatum says that for the longest time, she felt like she was getting noticed wrong and kept feeling alone, and wondered if everything was everything and if she should be "less Tatum." After Saturday, she realized she became a champion not because of The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) or because somebody carried her there, but because the fans willed her to keep going, and now she has the confidence that she belongs that she has looked for for a long time. She states that she won the NXT Women's Championship for The Culling, but she won the Women's North American Championship for the fans. All of a sudden, Izzi Dame shows up.Izzi congratulates Tatum before reminding the fans of what Patum used to be like, and we see a short video package of Tatum at the start of her career. Tony D'Angelo heads to the ring. D'Angelo says that he came back for two reasons. The first is to destroy DarkState, which he did at Vengeance Day, and D'Angelo commends Dion Lennox for dying on his shield. The second reason is something "the man in the mirror" was incapable of achieving. He says that he buried his past self six feet under so he could prove he is the baddest in NXT and win the NXT Championship. He says that Joe Hendry is a sensation, and while his past self would want to break bread with him, he is now willing to break his face, then says this is not business, but personal. D'Angelo gives Hendry one warning to prepare himself for his actions, for he will not be denied and he will be NXT Champion.

Backstage, Lola Vice meets with Sol Ruca. Lola says that she sees the next NXT Women's Champion in Sol Ruca and hopes to face her for the title. Sol Ruca plans to beat Jacy Jayne and take care of Zaria as well.

Tony D'Angelo makes his way to the ring. D'Angelo says it has been seven months since he got an opportunity to talk to the fans, and that he has some things to get off his chest. He says that the fans know his past in NXT and that he was a happy man a year ago who was surrounded by family, friends and people he could look in the eye and say that he has their back. D'Angelo says that this was all taken away from him, and that was the wake-up call he needed. He says that when you are good at what he is involved in, your life changes and you gain friends and family as well as a huge responsibility. He says that he needed to sit in a dark room and remember who he was on his own, and remember what he did before he came to NXT and remember what he did best: bouncing people's heads off the mat. D'Angelo says he returned to NXT the way that he did to keep people guessing and ensured that nobody knew anything, then says that this is a selfish business as well as a selfish time in NXT, which aligns exactly with his plans. He then says he has two reasons for coming back. One is punishing DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) for taking everything from him and taking everything from them in response. The other will be revealed when he is done with DarkState.

We hear from Shiloh Hill, who is studying other ladder matches for the one happening tonight. He also mentions what he knows about his opponents.

We hear from Jasper Troy, who says that destruction awaits for whoever wins the next Speed Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Joe Hendry, who admits that he is banged up after The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) and Keanu Carver both banged up, but he will not let bruised ribs keep him from the NXT Championship. He says his smile has hidden frustration because he has not become a champion, and he will continue to climb the ladder and give the fans a bigger reason to believe.

We see the accomplishments of current and recently former NXT stars in the Royal Rumble matches. Je'Von Evans is the iron man in the men's match with 40 minutes and 58 seconds (40:58) in the ring.

He also tells them to do whatever it takes to win, and to use their heads against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Ethan then tells Jackson Drake not to rush into anything.

We see footage from before the show where Jaida Parker is attacked by Blake Monroe in front of fans. Security is forced to step in.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Lexis King beat Chase University (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors). Afer the match, Uriah Connors walks away from Andre Chase and Kale Dixon and joins Arianna Grace, Stacks and Lexis King on the way to the back.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is in the ring. Jacy asks the fans if they know what it feels like to have something only for it to be taken out from underneath at the last second. She talks about being in the women's Royal Rumble, and says that the match was going the way she dreamed it would go. She says that everything was perfect until Sol Ruca snuck up behind her, cheap shotted her and threw her over the top rope, taking her moment from her. Jacy says she has been carrying the women's division and that she was a better double champion than Sol Ruca was, then says that is time to kill the hype and defend the NXT Championship against Sol Ruca. Zaria shows up and says that Jacy sicking her "lap dogs" on her was not enough, then says that Sol Ruca has had plenty of opportunities and that Jacy should be worried about her ripping the NXT Women's Championship out of her hands. Jacy says that Zaria never gets any opportunities because Sol Ruca has proven herself and is loved by the fans while Zaria is only tolerated. Kendal Gray and Wren Sinclair show up and says it took all three members of Fatal Influence to beat her and wants to run it back with Jacy. Zaria tells Kendal to stay out of her way, but Kendal says she and Wren do not keep secrets from each other. Sol Ruca shows up and says everyone wants a shot at the Women's Championship, but Zaria says friends do not sneak off t. Jacy tells everyone to figure it out in their "weird little couples therapy," then Robert Stone shows up. He makes Sol Ruca and Zaria vs. Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey, with the person getting the pinfall for their team facing Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship.

He says that Yoshiki Inamura was selfish, spineless and only cared about his big plan to become NXT Champion instead of their friendship. Briggs says he tried to be the best friend he could be, but Inamura did not care, and that he tried to make him a champion, but he failed. He says there is no honor in NXT and that he is not a man of honor; he is a man of mayhem, and he should be champion, but he is not because of Inamura. He then challenges Inamura to put his honor on the line next week in a Philadelphia Street Fight. Inamura shows up and Briggs was his friend, but now, he is a jackass. He accepts Briggs' challenge, saying the honor in a Philadelphia Street Fight will be in beating him. Inamura then attacks Briggs, starting a brawl, and security shows up only to get beaten up as Inamura gets the last word.

In footage from earlier today, Kelly Kincaid interviews Jordynne Grace. Jordynne says Blake Monroe is right, saying she has been avoiding mirrors and that the real battle has been not with her body, but with her mind. She says she has always felt like an outsider, and when she met Blake Monroe, who was an outsider in her own right, she wanted to get to know her. Unfortunately, she projects her insecurities onto other women. Jordynne goes on to say that real strength does not feed off other people's weakness, and that she will get in the ring with Blake to show her and the fans that there is no blueprint for a champion. Backstage, Blake Monroe and General Manager Ava have watched this interview. Next week, Blake Monroe will have a face-to-face meeting with Jordynne Grace.

After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page says that it is a shame that Kendal Grey is all Tavion Heights had to offer and that she does match up to the Canadian standard of excellence. Tavion shows up and says that while she respect Kendal and her achievements, she is not her pick. Instead, it is Tyra Mae Steele, who nearly slams Ethan from behind and goes to town on both Alba and Piper Niven. Tavion gets Ethan back in the ring, and Ethan gets a German suplex.

Backstage, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) meet with General Manager Ava and the personal concierge George Iceman. Jacy finds out she is defending the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts World Championship against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance at Heatwave. Iceman tells Jacy to count the days, as the TNA Knockouts Championship will soon be elegant. Fatal Influence will also take on The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance) in a six-woman tag match next week.

Backstage, Chelsea Green and "All Ego" Ethan Page are miffed over what just happened, as are Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. Chelsea says they must come up with a peace treaty between Canada and North America, and Ethan says he can get one ready for next week.

Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura head to the ring, followed by Oba Femi. Inamura says Oba Femi will be his greatest challenge, but he is ready. He says that fans, friends and family support him, and now he must make them proud. He says that he will fight with honor at The Great American Bash and become the new NXT Champion. Oba Femi says that fans, friends and family will be the ones picking up the pieces and asks if Inamura can lose with honor, as the truth will prevail and Inamura will not take his title from him. Josh Briggs reminds Oba Femi that Inamura beat Jasper Troy more easily than Oba did and that he will beat Oba. He also says that while Inamura is a man of honor, he is a man of mayhem, and he will make sure Inamura leaves as champion, as this is their only chance. Oba tells Briggs this is not his fight, and wants Briggs out of his face. Briggs and Oba brawl, and while Oba sends Briggs out of the ring, Inamura slams Oba Femi with the greatest of ease before officials arrive.

Instead, he believes that Hendry's song makes him sick to his stomach whenever he hears it and that Hendry is on the fourteenth of his fifteen minutes of fame, and that if Hendry is silly enough to come after him and his title, he will expose him as a flash in the pan. Hendry says he is no overnight success and that he has been grinding for over ten years and has made believers out of many people, and says that he will take the NXT Championship all over the world as he leads the crowd into song. As Ethan leaves, Hendry is attacked from behind by Wes Lee.

Dempsey scores the third and deciding fall with 0:59 (59 seconds) left after Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo tries to attack Dempsey only to be tossed out of the ring and Wren Sinclair tripping D'Angelo off the top rope as the referee is distracted to allow Dempsey to win the match and the title with a German suplex bridge pin.

He says this goes back to two years ago when Wentz let him down when he got released (which is not mentioned). He says that everyone felt sorry for Wentz more than they did for him, but he picked himself up and became the greatest NXT North American Champion of all time. He then says that Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz abandoned him and got back together in TNA while he broke his back to become a top star in NXT, and while they aspired to reach greatness together, it was he and he alone who achieved that greatness. Wes says he is done being Wentz's caretaker and worrying about what he will say or do, as he was the one who kept everything together in The Rascalz (Trey, Wentz, Wes Lee), and he is tired of taking care of him. He then says that he cannot ride their coattails anymore, that they only came back because of the NXT-TNA partnership and that he knows he and Wentz will have their match, and that Wentz will realize that everything he said was true. Wes says he will show no mercy when he beats the hell out Wentz, then says Wentz and Trey can go back to TNA to have a meaningful career while he moves on to the NXT Championship. He then says "On behalf of Wes Lee, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors." Suddenly, Pete Dunne shows up. Riley says that if Chase and Ridge win, they all win. Ridge thanks Chase University for continuing to believe in him and being behind him, and says he will do all in his power to bring home the NXT Tag Team Championships and make it the title reign to end all title reigns.

Oba Femi retains the NXT North American Championship in an open challenge against Otis.

We hear from Brooks Jensen, who says that he hit rock bottom and that he felt that people who were looking out were just nothing but empty words, then says that somebody was really looking out for him and wanted to make sure he was safe. He then finds Dion Lennox reading a book, and challenges him to a match, not realizing "It Ends With This" is the name of the book Lennox is reading.

Chase University (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland) beat Nathan Frazer and Axiom to become the NXT Tag Team Champions! This happens after Andre Chase shoves Frazer off the top turnbuckle to prevent the Phoenix Splash, and after Axiom hits Chase with the Golden Ratio, Ridge clocks Axiom with a lariat and hits him with a DDT to win the match and the titles.
